A Journey Of Destiny Begins.

Planet Taris, once a city-world like Coruscant. Three centuries ago, however, it was bombarded by the Sith Lord Darth Malak and left a toxic ruin. The years since have not been kind to Taris, as vegetation and animal life struggle to gain a foothold in the shattered skeleton of a planetary metropolis. The Republic began to recolonize Taris less than a decade ago, and has suffered innumerable setbacks, everything from pirate attacks to a strange plague. Nonetheless, the reconstruction effort continues, its proponents determined to prove that the Empire can never truly destroy greatness. But this planet had more than a few people trying to gun for it, and rumors of something force related began to spread. So ultimately Jedi was dispatched to investigate.

One of these jedis were non other than Uther Lightbringer. A seasoned war hero, and one of the most powerful jedi masters of the order. He is a faithful servant of the Light side of the Force, a champion justice with near unrivaled skills with a lightsaber. Uther is a bastion of truth and an unflinching symbol of the Jedi Order. After the war he continued to help out where ever he can, and even denied a seat at the jedi council, since he had a bad feeling that his legendary skills could be needed again in the near future. And it would be easier for him to help people without having to be stuck in Council Meetings.

Wearing his proud jedi armor, Uther was currently talking to Satele Shan, Grandmaster of the jedi order, via a hologram "I have arrived on Taris, Master Shan. And I fear that our worries may be correct. Something dark is definitely growing here on Taris".

"I was hoping our worries was just the paranoia of war's aftermath. But if something is happening on that planet, we can't ignore it" Satele said.

"I will continue my investigation. If the sith is trying anything I will discover it, and with any luck I can put an end to it" Uther declared.

"We harbor no doubts about your ability to handle this situation, Master Lightbringer. But just to be safe, we sent someone to help you. Someone I'm sure you won't mind aiding you on your journey to discover the truth" Satele said.

Uther smiled, knowing right away who it was "I look forward to seeing him again. When will he arrive?".

"He should be arriving shortly, may the force be with you both" Satele said before ending the transmission.

Uther headed outside just in time to see a ship come in for landing. It soon opened up and a young man with long blonde hair walked out. This man was Arthas Menethil, originally born in to a royal family and was set to take the throne after his father's time is over. But when the jedi discovered he was force sensitive, they sent someone to get him. King Terenas was reluctant at first to let the jedi have his son, and only agreed to let them train him under the condition that he would be allowed to return home if he ever desired it. The Jedi agreed to his terms, assuring the king that their students are not prisoners, and they can leave whenever they want. Even though most decides to stay.

"Welcome Arthas, it has been a long time" Uther greeted.

Arthas smiled at him "To long, master".

"Come now Arthas, there is not need to adress me like that anymore. You are a Jedi Knight now, a title you earned when you defeated that Dark Jedi and stopped his plan from shattering our sacred home" Uther said. Arthas used to be his padawan, but he has outgrown Uther's teachings now.

"If you say so, Uther. Still it is good to see you again" Arthas said as they shook hands.

"You too my old Padawan. I am happy the council sent you to aid me on this mission" Uther said.

"They still hope your legendary wisdom and experience will rub of on me" Arthas said.

"Then I fear they are hoping for a little to much" Uther said, and both of them laughed in good nature.

After their friendly reunion Arthas finally got to the reason why they were here "I can sense the darkness in this planet. Is it true that a sith lord might be here?".

"From what we can sense, it is a possibility. But we can't say for sure yet. This planet has had a dark presence ever since Darth Malak tore it up all those years ago. But this would make the perfect place for a sith lord to hide... or maybe a corrupted jedi" Uther explained.

"Both being nearly equally bad. But where do we even begin to look? Searching an entire planet could take more time than we have" Arthas said.

"You are right about that. Which is why I reached out to some new allies... they are not the most trust worthy of allies, but we can't afford to refuse their help" Uther said.

"What allies?" Arthas asked.

"A Mandalorian" Uther answered.

Arthas got wide eyes "Master, you can't be serious! Why would we rely on the help of savages? After everything they did?".

"I understand why you would think that way, Arthas. But not all Mandalorians are the same, and like I said, we can't afford to turn away the help of someone who knows this planet far better than we do" Uther said.

"Uther, the Mandalorians have almost been as lethal of an enemy to the jedi as the sith are. They will not help us unless they gain something for it. I my best guess is what they want is a chance to take our heads" Arthas said, really not liking the idea of working with an old enemy of the jedi.

Uther sighed "We have no other choice Arthas".

Arthas still didn't like it, but knew there was little else he could do "Fine, let's get this over with then".

Soon enough they met up with the Mandalorian. She was a large woman, with muscles that looked like they could break the bones of a wookie. She also had long dark blonde hair and some painting around her eyes. She was of course wearing the traditional mandalorian armor, with her helmet currently being on the side. She was waiting for the two jedis to arrive, and when they did she stood up from her sitting position.

"Took you long enough. I have better things to do than wait around for you two to show up" She said.

"What things? Planing your next murder?" Arthas asked coldly.

Uther silenced him with a stern look "Sorry, he is on edge from everything that is going on. Your name is Sonya right?".

The woman named Sonya nodded "Indeed I am. I know about you as well, Uther Lightbringer. You legendary skills as a warrior has reached all Mandalorian clans. Now, who is this pup you brought with you?".

Arthas felt insulted but Uther quickly spoke up "His name is Arthas Menethil, my former Padawan. He became a Knight not to long ago, so now he is finally to use his strength to protect those in need".

Sonya scoffed at that "Menethil. I know that name. So he is a royal brat who hasn't seen true bloodshed yet. The Jedi's standards keeps on sinking. Desperate to repair the damage done from the war that they would bring in someone this unworthy. And no sense of honor".

"I don't want to hear that from you!" Arthas snapped "You mandalorians are nothing but barbarians. Savages who use honor as an excuse to butcher innocent. Your people don't know the first thing about honor, you are nothing but murderers".

Sonya glared at him "Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't some of the worst murderers in the galaxy jedi? Like that Revan guy?".

"Revan wasn't even a jedi when he did all those horrible acts. He was corrupted by the dark side and turned in to a monster. What is The Mandalorians' excuse for becoming killers?" Arthas asked.

"That's enough! We need to-" Uther began but Sonya was not about to let such an insult to her honor stand.

She pulled out a large blade she had on her back and struck at Arthas. He dodge and pulled out his lightsaber before moving in to deliver a hard strike. But Sonya raised her sword and blocked the attack. Arthas looked surprised before Sonya pushed him back.

"How? My lighstaber should've cut through your sword!" Arthas said.

Sonya smirked "Mandalorian iron, little boy. That fancy glowing stick of yours won't cut through this sword. Now are you ready to see how outclassed you are?".

"My lightsaber is not my only weapon!" Arthas declared as they got ready to continue their fight.

"ENOUGH!" Uther shouts causing both of them to look at him "Arthas, have you forgotten everything I taught you? Anger and revenge is not the jedi way. If we allow such feelings to consume us, we are no better than the sith!".

Arthas looked down as he turned of his lightsaber "Yes... Uther".

Uther then looked at Sonya "And you are not blame less either. Combat may be a part of your culture, but any warrior with at least some wisdom knows better than to start pointless battles".

Sonya growled but put away her blade "Fine, let's just deal with this so I can finally get away from you jedi".

As Sonya stormed away Arthas spoke "I am sorry, Uther. I will not allow something like this to happen again".

"I hope so, Arthas. I believe there is greatness in your future. Do not waste" Uther said.

Arthas nods and they continued on their mission.

Sonya wasn't the only Mandalorian on Taris. Nearby, a camp with several Mandalorians was located. Some of them were drinking, others were training by fighting each other, and some were making sure their weapons worked. But inside the biggest of the tents, a large being was sitting on something that resembled a throne. He belonged to the same species as Thrall. He was an Orc, a prolific and physically powerful race hailing from the once-lush planet called Draenor. They were known for their physical might, that easily rivaled many of the most physically powerful races in the galaxy.

His name was Garrosh Hellscream, leader over the powerful Mandalorian clan called The Warsong. He rose to the title of clan leader through his savage might and brutal cunning, and he valued the strength and honor of the Mandalorians. But he was also very ambitious, and being clan leader was not enough for him. He had his sights set even higher.

"I have news for you, Clan Leader" Garrosh looked up and saw his scout was back.

"Speak" He ordered.

"You suspicions were true. The jedi have arrived on Taris, seeking the source of the strange power located here" The Scout said.

"Is Thrall one of them?" Garrosh asked.

"No my Clan Leader. But the legendary Uther Lightbringer is one of them" The Scout answered.

"Uther Lightbringer. Yes slaying such a esteemed Jedi will prove a worthy chalange. Once I am done with him, I know I will be ready to slay Thrall, and make him pay for deserting our culture" Garrosh said.

"I have more to report. They are receiving aid, from a mandalorian, a human female named Sonya" The Scout said.

Garrosh growled in anger "A Mandalorian would ally with our mortal enemies? I will make her suffer for it! Prepare our warriors, we are going to hunt".

"Yes clan leader" The Scout said before leaving.

At last, Garrosh will test his might against a worthy foe.

Meanwhile, Nova was back from her Mission. After her debriefing she was allowed to got the apartment she was currently living in. Once she entered she saw a young woman sitting on the couch looking over some schematics of a ship. That woman was Lena, Code Name: Tracer. One of the best pilots in the Republic, and her high spirited personality made it impossible to stay sad or moody whenever she was around. She earned her reputation many times, by being able to pull of maneuvers that should've been impossible. But she is no slouch when it comes to ground combat, her duel blasters comes in real handy whenever she is in a shoot out, and it's even speculated she has limited force abilities.

But Nova didn't care about any of that. Because to her, Lena is just her very cute and really great lover. Not many know of their relationship, due to the secrecy of their missions, but they don't care. Because they know, and they are proud of it.

"Oh yeah that is one sexy girl. What I would do to take a ride in that" Lena said as she looked at the beautiful ship she hoped to pilot one day.

Nova suddenly grabbed her from behind "How about a sexy lady for now?".

Lena yelped "Geez Nova! You scared the stars out of me! Why didn't you tell me you were back?".

"And lose the chance to surprise you? I don't think so. But right now I need a shower, and given you have clearly worked on some ships, I can tell you need one too" Nova declared.

Lena blushed a that but smiled "How do I say no to that, love?".

Nova smirked as she picked Lena up and headed to the shower. Safe to say, as long as she had Lena to come home to, Nova can handle any mission.

Here is the start of the first true story arc, and also introduced the first couple. If you don't like Lesbian relationships, then that's not my problem, so don't bother leaving comments on that if you don't like it.

Other than that, tell me what you think.
