Within the Celadon police station, all of Leaf and Red's parties of Pokemon were stuck in a room waiting, the place being enveloped in silence as a tapping sound could be heard. Buneary started to impatiently pace the room, folding her arms as she eyed the clock anxiously. 'This blows! We should be out there!'

Nida sighed, lying on the ground beside the rabbit. 'I understand how you feel, Buneary, bu-'

Buneary interrupted the Poison type as she marched towards the door. 'Exactly! Do we still have to wait? Let's just get out and give Team Rocket a beating.'

She was about to continue only to be stopped by Luxio who is looking at the wall with a serious expression. 'Luxio! What gives?'

'Something's wrong? We're being guarded but there looks like an officer that is walking around the station for a while now..'

Luxio had a bad feeling that ended up coming through when they heard various gunshots outside the building, Buneary jumping to one of the windows while Beedrill perched above the door to attack any intruders. Through the wall, Luxio noticed there was a battle between the cops and Team Rocket outside, the officers defeating most of the grunts until he noticed one that snuck past them, checking the station. "Oh! This not good! Mayday! Mayday!"

'Beedrill! Get ready!' Luxio said, Beedrill readying its stingers as the man checked the rooms, grinning as he was able to steal some items until he came across a female officer who he was able to take down with his Pokemon, tying her up and laughing.

"Yes! Police taken down! Now I take Pokemon! Team Rocket bye-bye a go go!" The grunt said, opening the door only to come face to face with the Pokemon in the room that gave him feral looks which made him start sweating as he dropped his bag. "Oh no! This bad! I surrender?"

Within seconds, his screams could be heard as he was mauled by the Pokemon, Luxio watching the carnage from a distance with a tired look. 'Yep. This is my life. Now I know how Red feels.'

After several minutes, the crew took the opportunity to leave the place in the midst of the police search, much to Buneary's elation. As they ran down the street, the group heard explosions, following the sounds until they came across a grunt who noticed them. They all braced themselves as the woman was about to throw a Pokeball only to be confused when she suddenly fell to the ground, everyone seeing a familiar face behind her.

'Meowth!' Everyone shouted in disbelief, Beedrill and Vulpix tackling the cat into a hug, the cat patting them. 'It's nice to see you guys again. Hope you haven't missed me too much. Also, Bee, mind those stingers please.'

'Oh, sorry.' The bee said before noticing Poli hiding behind one of the dumpsters, flying over to him and patting him on the head. 'And you're ok too, Poli?'

The tadpole waddled to the rest of the group as Vulpix hugged the Water-type while Meowth made her way to Luxio. 'Hey, Lux! Did you miss me?'

The lynx sighed when she winked at him, noticing her dirty and shaggy fur before he patted her on the head. 'Yes, really. You went through a lot, didn't you?'

Meowth starts blushing, wrapping her tail around her feet as she scratches the ground in embarrassment before she sees Buneary approach her with her arms crossed. 'So…how did you manage to escape?'

'Lucky I guess? I don't know but the moment I got out of the ball…' The cat frowned, Poli sharing the same expression which did not go unnoticed by Luxio who noticed something odd. 'Meowth. I've been meaning to ask. Where is Red?'

She didn't answer, shrugging and walking away which made everyone concerned as Buneary hopped in front of her. 'And where do you think you're going?'

'Where? To where the fight is happening.' Meowth answered with a straight face before gesturing for them to follow her. 'Our trainers may be there.'

'Huh? How do you know that they're there?' Nida asked with a worried tone, Meowth smiled then turned to her. 'Knowing our idiot of a trainer, he's the type to leave us behind and fight Team Rocket by himself for our safety. And your trainer is so stubborn and petty that she might kick their asses for getting the jump on her. Trust me, those two lovebirds are alive. Nothing took them down before.'

'Interesting.' Hearing the voice, everyone looked to see a Ralts looking down at the group with a smile. The Psychic Pokemon descended in front of them, Buneary and Wartortle recognizing the Ralts when they heard her giggle. 'You have a lot of faith in your trainer.'

'Why shouldn't I?' Meowth smirks at the Psychic type until they heard Buneary's screech.

'Wait! You're that damn Ralts that kept running away from us on Route 8! The heck that you're doing here?' Buneary yelled, Ralts letting out another giggle before it vanished when Buneary attacked it. 'It's alright. I'm here to help.'

Everyone looked around until they all looked up into the air, seeing Ralts hovering above them with its pink eyes glowing as it stares at the group. 'So I guess the whole gang is here? It's time.'

The Pokemon glowed intensely, its aura surrounding it like a tornado as it outstretched its hands towards the group. 'I predict that the police will need more help. Team Rocket has too much power as they are right now. Plus, I have a bad feeling that we're going to need all the help we can get. You may not trust me but know that I want to help you guys and get rid of those jerks. If you're ready, hold my hands.'

Everyone looked at each other before nodding as they touched Ralts' hands, the Pokemon smiling as they all start glowing, their bodies becoming transparent as the Pokemon spoke.

'Good choice! Now hold on tight!'

In the heart of Celadon City, an all-out battle is taking place as explosions and gunshots echoed throughout the street which made all the residents of the red light district run for their lives to avoid the chaos. The police force tried to hold their own as they fought against Team Rocket who was using guns and their own Pokemon as the leaders shouted their commands.

"Team Rocket! Advance!"

"Don't let them move forward, my fellow comrades!"

Both sides advance forward before the Sergeant came forward, sending out Hypno who quickly lulled some of the officers to sleep until an Exploud appeared and used Uproar that knocked away the Pokemon and kept the officers awake. "Nice job, private!"

"Thank you, sir!"

They then continued before one of the grunts took up a shotgun and aimed at the commissioner who was taking on four others, smirking until he was body slammed into the wall by Stoutland. It was utter chaos during the fight as the two groups continued battling, the once lively street now a burning battlefield that held casualties on both sides. As Mr. Green was able to take down four grunts easily with his Medicham, he barely dodged a shot before he used his riot shield to block the barrage of bullets coming at him until he heard a laugh, seeing a muscular grunt who rushed towards him, the man immediately taken out by Medicham until he saw the Sergeant.

"So you're the Commissioner? Thought you'd be bigger." The sergeant said as he ran towards Mr. Green who dodged his attack before he took a gun only for it to be knocked out of his hand by the brunette as he smiled. "Well, one thing's for sure. You're just as skilled as I thought."

"Thank you, sir but I'm in a rush. We will have to speed up this fight if you don't mind."

Both men dashed forward with their fists raised before as the conflict continued.

During the battle above ground, one of the grunts was wandering the hideout, checking the rooms as he dashed through the hallway. As he came across one of the rooms, he sees a group of grunts loafing around, one of the males noticing him and panicked. "What the hell?! You here to rat us out, kid?"

The grunt was about to answer until he had to dodge a Flamethrower, turning to one of the female grunts who had an Arcanine beside her as the rest of them took their Pokemon. "Let's take him out before! He could have a recorder or some walkie talkie!"

They all attacked only for their moves to be countered by Air Cutter, the grunts then seeing a Golbat that started multiple and use Supersonic, disorienting the group before the bat used Air Cutter, taking out the group. Getting out of the room and continuing to wander throughout the hideout, the grunt started collecting papers and files around the place, coming across various grunts that he was able to defeat and having to destroy the security cameras as he did so. Reaching the second to last room in the hallway, he slowly entered the room only to barely dodge a blast that froze the door, seeing a burly man who is dressed in a sleeveless version of the Team Rocket outfit, sitting down with his feet on the table and a can of soda in his hand. "Who the hell are you? Shouldn't be out there fighting with the other grunts."

"Bathroom. Had too much to drink." The grunt answered which made the man raise a brow as he leaned forward in his chair and chuckled. "What kind of third rate lie was that? Don't think you can fool an officer kid."

"It's no lie. I seriously need to use the bathroom." The grunt stated in an uneasy tone, shaking nervously.

"Fine! Go!" The man sighed, gesturing for the grunt to go. As soon as he went past the Team Rocket officer, he felt a bone-chilling presence behind him, sidestepping to a wall before he noticed the place he previously was turning into a crater. "A ghost?"

The grunt then had to dodge another attack which formed a crack on the wall, the teen able to see a Froslass appearing beside the man who put up a confused expression. "Nice moves, kid! Didn't think you'd be able to notice Froslass?"

The man then snapped his fingers which made Froslass vanished, the grunt quickly dodging a few attacks until he ducked a Crunch with a smirk which confused the man. 'What is he doing?'

The teen then slid underneath the ghost, whispering to a Great Ball and pointing it at the ghost before it exploded into flames, hitting the Ice type before a Koffing emerged from the fire. The youth then pointed to the right which the Poison type went before it enveloped itself in lightning before rushing towards their opponent.

"The hell? He's just a newbie." The man said as he saw the grunt handily dealing with Froslass, getting concern as she hit the Poison type with Shadow Ball before it bounced off the wall and hitting her before it went around the room like a pinball. "Alright, I'm done with this."

The man sped forward and tried to punch the grunt only for his attack to be countered when he found himself being flung over and slammed onto the floor by his opponent, much to his surprise. The man then sprung back up and attacked the grunt, surprised again when his strike was blocked until his arm was grabbed, the man expecting another throw only to receive a punch to the gut which knocked the air out of him before another hit him in the face.

"Damn! You got one hell of a left hook! The name's Attlia. What is yours?" Attllia asked while rubbing his cheek, receiving no response before his opponent got into a boxer stance. Meanwhile, Froslass used Ice Beam against Koffing which was stopped by Flamethrower before the Poison type switched to Thunderbolt which electrocuted the ghost. The phantom then took out the Poison type with a powerful Shadow Ball before flying towards the grunt whose grey eyes started to glow.

"The jig is up! Let's fight fire with fire!"

'Got it, Red!' When Froslass sped towards him, the grunt made a gesture which made the Ice type get launched into the air until it got hit by a black shadow that used a lariat which sent it spinning to the ground. "Nice!"

He was about to take out a Pokeball until he had to dodge a punch from Attlia, Red continuing to dodge his strikes until he ducked, the man confused before his Froslass collided into him which send them through a couple tables then into a wall. The man then pushed off his Pokemon, stepping on it before he glared at the teen. "Damn, kid! What the hell was that? Don't tell me…"

The man's eyes widened in fear when he saw a Dusclops emerging from the grunt's shadow, the Pokemon's fists starts to get enveloped in a black aura as the man turned to his Froslass. "Get up, you useless creature! Take down that Dusclops and don't disappoint me."

The Ice type flew forward and vanished, Red doing the same as he made Dusclops phase through the floor, Froslass being surprised when a black fist emerged from the ground, hitting it before more followed, battering the Ghost type until the last one slammed it into the ground.

"What the?" Attlia muttered in surprise, able to punch Red in the face before the teen retaliated, landing a heavy blow to his gut which caused the man to slouch. The man then let out a breath before he lashed out, swinging a fist which the younger grunt avoided that made him lose his balance. "Crap!"

"Checkmate!" The man quickly put on a knuckleduster, launching a punch towards the teen's neck before a shockwave from Froslass and Dusclops knocked him off balance, much to his concern when he sees Red barely dodging his punch.

"Alright, lucky! Let's see how you deal with this!" He said before dashing around Red, shooting his stun gun which was dodged which made Attlia smile as he lunged forward and elbowed the teen in the stomach. "Perfect!"

Before the youth could do anything, the man grabbed him by the waist, lifting him up in the air with a smirk as he took a huge intake of air. "You better pray that your neck doesn't break."

After saying that, he quickly descended with the teen, performing a German suplex that slammed Red into the ground, a sickening crunch echoing through the room that caught Dusclops' attention. On the floor was the teen whose shoulder was slightly dislodged, Attlia patting his hands with a smile as he looked at his handiwork. "And that's that! You were close but no cigar. Now to deal with-"

The man then felt a terrifying presence behind him, instinctively punching behind him until he saw something that made him froze in shock. There was Red, his teeth clenched as blood trickling down his forehead from the knuckleduster that cut him. The man could not form a sentence when he noticed the huge smile on the teen's face that unnerved him. "Don't count me out yet, sir."

Attlia then suffered a punch to the stomach that made him fall to his knees, the man noticing Golbat behind Red before he looks up at his assailant while coughing. "You're making a grave mistake, boy."

"Thank you for your concern…" The teen said with a smile before his expression hardened. "…but it is my mistake to make."

The man immediately took out an Arbok who was about to attack the boy until Red snaps his fingers, a Thunderbolt blasting the cobra into a bunch of tables. Attlia could not have the time to be surprised when he saw a can of Repel fly into the air, Red running out of the room before he made his Koffing used Flamethrower on it which made the officer's eyes widened. "Shi-"

An explosion occurred, destroying the entire room as Red left the place, his Pokemon aiding him as Dusclops put his arm over him down the hallway. When the explosion subsided, Attlia groaned in pain as he got out from under his cover, the man seeing his Pokemon on the ground unconscious which made him frustrated before he punched the wall. "Shit! That kid got me!"

Meanwhile, Red was battling his way through troops of Team Rocket, desperately looking for a room until he was able to find one, sitting on the ground before he let Dusclops holding his arm as he braces himself. "Alright, Dusclops. Let's get this over with."

'Are you prepared, young Red?' Dusclops said, receiving a nod from his trainer before the ghost quickly moved the boy's arm back in place which made Red yell in pain while he squirmed on the floor. After a while, he gets up, slowly moving his arm and ignoring his pain until he noticed some more explosion shaking the place. 'At least it's functional. Now to get to Leaf.'

Coming out of the room, he immediately avoids an attack before noticing that he is surrounded by a group of grunts who went to continue fighting only to be taken out by his Golbat and Koffing. Continuing through the hideout, Red defeated waves of grunts until he reached a heavily armored door, making his Dusclops go through it and open the door as he went in.

"What is this?" He thought aloud, greeted with mountains of papers and books around the room as he wandered the place. Looking through a few of the files and folders, his eyes widened in shock when he looked at one of them. "What the hell?"

The teen had to hold in the bile in his stomach as he glanced at the pictures of the grotesque experiments that were performed by Team Rocket. Feeling nauseous, Red continued reading, seeing another project that peaked his interest as he went to read a golden folder. 'A substance or sound wave that forces Pokemon to evolve?'

"Oh my gosh!" He said, deciding to put the folders and documents with him before he continued reading. 'The police needs to know this.'

Walking around the room, he noticed a red folder in the middle of a table, opening before he sees something that made him raise a brow. "Reversible evolution? For short time periods?"

"Project Evolution Versatility Elixir. EVE." Red read, looking at a dusty tube in the back of the room that had the same acronym before approaching it, wiping part of the glass only to see something that made his eyes widened as his mouth instinctively muttered.

"An Eevee?"

Seeing this, he turned to the folder and read it only to realize something that made him surprised and concerned before he looked back at the Eevee. He then checked the contents of the tank before he accidentally pressed a button which made him start sweating. 'Uh oh…'

The water in the tube starts draining out before the glass doors open, releasing the brown creature who started coughing as Red ran to it with concern. Taking up the Pokemon and putting it on a table, he inspected the Pokemon and checked for its heartbeat and pulse. "At least it's alive. That's good."

'Probably the only thing alive in here…' Dusclops said, Red biting his lips as he looked away from the blood stained cages obscured by the darkness. He then noticed a disk-like device in one of the drawers, his eyes widened when he noticed that there were five compartments with different colors, seeing that there were evolution stones in them which made him surprised. "What the? There are multiple stones on here. There is even a shard of a Mossy rock and an Ice Rock here."

'This is worrisome. If this Pokemon was apart of that experiment then it would mean that he could also evolve and revert.' Dusclops said as he came across a few of the beakers in the room. Red, on the other hand, kept silent as he read through a few more pages before turning to the Pokemon. 'To be honest, this would be good for some Pokemon but the way that they're using it.'

"I need to get Bill to check on you when this all gets finished." Red said, taking up the Eevee and about to put it in a Pokeball but the Pokeball did not work, much to his surprise. He has tried again with multiple Pokeballs but failed until he noticed that it was slightly panting. "So Pokeballs won't work on you? That's weird. It's either you're stubborn or…"

He searched the place, looking into the drawers and cabinets until he found a Pokeball that was much different than he thought. "Ah ha! This should work."

He then pointed the device to the Pokemon, smiling when it was returned before he heard a strange beep. "Bzzt! Pokemon has been contained and neutralized. Vital patterns and heart rate is normal. Health is also normal. Bzzt!"

"Alright, that's good!" Red said, putting the devices in his pouch before he exited the room, pressing a switch on his way out after hearing an alarm. "Alright, the warp tiles should be on now. Time to free those captured Pokemon."

"Damn it! How are you so strong?" Sergeant stated, panting on the ground while holding his shoulder. Mr. Green stood above the man with a serious expression as he readied himself to punch him. "I have a daughter that I want to make sure that is fine."

The scarred face man chuckled, shaking his head as he tried to get up only to be knocked down by the commissioner. "Is that so? Color me surprised. You look so serious all the time on the mug shots that I couldn't really see you as a family man."

"Always expect the unexpected."

"Nice line there. Mind if I use it?" The sergeant said before Mr. Green tried to attack him only to be stop by gunfire which made him retreat as one of the grunts took the sergeant away on his Salamence, the brunette not giving them a chance to get far as he made his Medicham use Psychic which sent the Pokemon and people on it plummeting to the ground. As he and some of the policemen advanced, one of the Team Rocket officers lifted his hand which made a horde of Gyarados hover in the air, Mr. Green having a bad feeling as one of the policewoman made her Electrode knock down one of the serpents with Thunder before they all swirl around and created a cyclone.

"Alright, cycle formation! Dragon Rage!" One of the grunts commanded, the police stopped in their tracks as they heard it before they saw a tornado of flames coming towards them before Mr. Green turned around and yelled. "Shield formation! Protect!"

Five policemen ran forward and pull up their riot shield as they took out their Pokemon and use Protect which helped the police force to shield themselves against the onslaught of strikes. "What power! We would've been wiped out if we didn't take the precaution."

"Yeah! There's no end to this!"

While they were protecting, a purple portal formed underneath them, a Gengar popping out before it attacked them, knocking back everyone and dispersing the Protect which allowed the Dragon Rage to hit the group. Seeing the results of this, the grunts started to laugh as they saw flames on the other side of the battlefield. "Damn, they really bit the bucket! At least the fuckers ar-"

The grunt could not continue as he got hit by an orb that sent him flying through a bunch of vehicles, the rest of the grunts looking up until they saw something that made them run. They all got attacked by a barrage of Aura Spheres, trying to make the Gyarados attack them again only to see them get knocked out by a huge bolt of lightning, much to their horror. They all look through the smoke cloud to see the police force still standing, some of them sporting some gashes and wounds and others on the floor unconscious, Mr. Green walking forward as he made his Pokemon. "Onward!"

The battle continued as the brunette took out his batons and ran towards the Casino. "Don't count us out yet!"

"Jeez! How can they move around in these? It feels so tight." Kimberley complained while adjusting the midriff of her Team Rocket outfit as she and the prisoners were wandering around the hideout. Meanwhile, Leaf was a few steps ahead, slowly scouting the area with Misdreavus and defeating grunts along the way until they went into a room that has some glowing tiles on the ground.

"What on earth is that?" Kim said with a brow raised as she tried to touch the tile only to be pulled back by Leaf. "Kim! We don't know what that is."

"Fifty Pokedollars that it's some teleporter."

The brunette took up an item from the ground and throw it at the tile, the item immediately vanished as it made contact with the tile. "Ok, that was unexpected."

Before they could try anything else, they heard another explosion which made Leaf fell on the tile, the girl gasped in surprise as she tried to defend herself until she noticed that she is in another area.

"Welp. I owe Kim Fifty Pokedollars." The brunette said before she looked around the place for any grunts. After looking around and seeing that there is no one there in the place and also that she is at another section of Celadon City, she then went back to the warp, realizing that Kim and the other prisoners are coming through the tile which made the girl involuntarily let out a breath of relief. "Oh, Leaf! You're ok! Phew! I really thought you got vaporized"

"Funny. C'mon! We need to go!"

Wandering through the building, Leaf noticed something by the corner of her eye, running to one of the room before freezing in shock when she and everyone saw what was in the room. Within the room was multiple cages which are occupied by dead Pokemon, the sight making Leaf vomit when she saw various body parts of the Pokemon along with their blood splattered on the ground.

"Jeez…"

"What on earth…?"

"Oh God…"

"T-they're dead…all of them…are dead…" Leaf tried to calm herself, feeling sick as she tries her best not to vomit again. She then clasp her hands and pray for the Pokemon that have passed away, Kim and the others checking another place, the blunette almost jumped when she accidentally touched a severed Machamp arm which made her nauseous. "Ughh. I'm gonna be sick!"

Continuing through the building, the group then came across a large room that looked to be the inside of a storage room as one of them was able to find the switches. "Woah!"

"Wait! I know this warehouse!" One of the prisoners said as they went to a corner of the room while Kim leaned on the wall, unaware of the box beside her shaking erratically.

"Watch out!" Leaf said, pushing Kim out of the way when something sprung to attack them, the group looking around until they saw the tables moving on the other side of the room. They all heard rustling through the room until something darted towards them, the thing was immediately stopped by Misdreavus' Psybeam that sent it into a wall as everyone noticed the attacker.

"A Ditto?" Leaf said in confusion before the Pokemon outstretched itself towards her, the brunette avoided the attack before she ducked under a table and commanded Misdreavus to hit it with another Psybeam. She watched the blob dart around the place until it transforms into Misdreavus, about to attack until it got hit by an Icy Wind. "Did anyone find the exit?"

"Sorry, it takes a minute to get this to open." A woman said as she was working on the other side of the room to open the door.

"Ok! I'll hold this thing off!" The brunette ordered the group, stopping to fight against the Ditto. Both Pokemon clashing against each other until Leaf dashes through the smoke of one of the attacks before slamming a Spell Tag on Ditto. "Three…two…one…"

Ditto then screamed in pain as black electricity coursed through its body, making it descend to the ground until the Pokemon reverts back to its normal state, Leaf then taking off the talisman. "Good thing those grunts didn't take this. Came in handy."

She looked at the unconscious blob on the floor who twitched uncomfortably, crouching at it and poking it with a stick which made it squirm. "It's still alive, huh?"

She then smirked devilishly as she took out an Ultra Ball and catch the Pokemon, chuckling darkly which got a deadpanned expression from Misdreavus. After she did this, she heard the door opening, everyone excited as they could feel the breeze until it finished, the group getting outside.

"It's good to be outside. Being inside for too long made my shoulders stiff." Kim said as she stretched her arms and took the sunlight with a smile. Leaf on the other hand, decides to sit on the ground and look at Misdreavus as she tries to stretch her body, feeling slight pain in some of her limbs before a hand lands on her shoulder, looking up to see Kim.

"I know what you're thinking. And you know the answer to that question. You can help by letting the police know. Leaf, you're a badass, I know but after everything that happened. Those weeks…" Kim started trembling as she looked back at the building before looking to the ground. "Those weeks were hell. We're in over our head against these guys. We barely even got out thanks to Misdreavus. Plus, look at you."

Leaf looked at herself through one of the window glasses, seeing various wounds on her body before noticing one of her cheeks have swollen and she has a black eye. "I look terrible."

"Exactly! You look like you could barely last a few steps much less through the whole hideout." Kim remarked as one of the males ran to a telephone pole and made a call. Leaf looked down in disappointment, clenching her fists as she thought about Kim's words. Gritting her teeth, she turned back to the building with a frustrated look on her face as she took out a badge case and broken Pokegear. 'Damn it! I hate this! I hate being useless!'

After half an hour, the police arrived which made everyone cheered happily as they ran towards them. Kim sighed happily as one of the paramedics from a SUV came out and inspected them, she and Leaf immediately informing the officers about the building and the warps. They then decided to take notes and inspect the building while another group was about to make a call. "This thing just keep getting worse and worse but anything to help us right no-"

An explosion suddenly shakes the area causing everyone to almost lose their balance before they notice a smoke trail in the sky. Leaf watched the trail with an uneasy feeling in her stomach as her thoughts went awry. 'What's going on?'

"Damn! Things are getting serious over there!" One of the officers said. Leaf raised a brow as a doctor wrapped a bandage around her arm. "Getting serious? What is?"

Before they could do anything, they hear sounds from the building, the officers preparing themselves when Team Rocket grunts came out. "Damn, the cops are here too! They got us surrounded."

"Who cares? Let's kill them and escape! Go Koffing! Weezing!"

"Kill them, Croagunk and Golbat!"

The grunts ran towards them with batons and stun guns in hand, the police taking their stand as they released their Pokemon to protect the civilians. "You all need to get out of here! Paramedics! Take them away!"

"Misdreavus, Psybeam now!"

Before the grunts could attack, Misdreavus shot a powerful Psybeam that quickly knocked out the enemy Pokemon which surprised everyone. Still in surprise, the troops of Team Rocket had to retreat when the police started retaliating and overpower them, much to their shock. "Damn it! Nothing is going good!"

Leaf then immediately heard screams in the building, some of the grunts being flung out of windows along with their Pokemon as she sees water and needles coming out of one of the windows which made her eyes widened. "Wait! That move!"

As she and Kim locked eyes, an explosion occurred that knocked the grunts towards the police, surprising everyone until they looked at the entrance. Seeing her team coming out, Leaf's smile started to get bigger before she sprinted towards her Pokemon.

"Guys! I miss you guys!" She sobbed, hugging her Pokemon who returned the hug, Kim looking at the sight with a smile on her face. Leaf then saw the battle escalating between the two groups as an officer took her into a car with Kim, returning her Pokemon as they drove off with the captives from the area.

"We need to get out of here!" The officer said, his Magneton sitting on top of the car looking around the place. They then heard another explosion, Kim trembling in fear while Leaf searched the place anxiously. "Seriously, what's happening?"

"A gangfight." The answer made both girls freeze as the city devoid of human life before the man continued explaining. "Celadon is being quarantined. Plus, Team Rocket was getting more aggressive with their activities. It took us a while but we found Team Rocket's hideout and the rest is as you see."

They watched as police and Team Rocket face off, their attacks causing destruction throughout the city as the officer tries to avoid the fray. Suddenly, the car was toppled over by a stray blast before another hit it which sent it flying towards a building.

"Magneton! Protect!"

Everyone got knocked as the car skid along the floor, ending on its top as the trio lost consciousness.

"Damn…what the?" Leaf said, waking up while clutching her head. She looked around only to see Kim beside her unconscious before she noticed a grunt hovering over her. "This one is a bit on the muscular side but she's still quite plump. Just as I like it."

Before the grunt could do anything, Leaf swiftly kicked him in the crotch before she slammed his head to the ground. This alerted the rest of the grunts who were checking the car and the dead body of the police officer before they ran towards her with their Pokemon. Within moments, Leaf's Pokemon came out of their capsules and make short work of the people before she made Misdreavus knocked out the humans with Confuse Ray.

"Damn it!" She said, limping towards the officer only to see his throat slashed open and a knife lodged in his chest. "I hope you rest in peace, sir."

Her Pokemon guided her while she went towards Kim, seeing the girl suffer multiple wounds and burns around her body as she tried to shake her awake. She then heard a giggle, looking around the place until she looked up in the air, seeing a Ralts.

"What's a Ralts doing here?" Leaf mumbled, seeing the Pokemon descend beside Kim before it outstretched its hands towards the girl. Kim's body starts to illuminate. This startled Leaf until she noticed her friend's wounds quickly dissipating, the girl's skin turning back to normal before Ralts turns to Leaf and touch her hand.

'I feel much better.' Leaf said as she saw her wounds disappear, the aches around her subsiding as her body is able to move more freely and she realizing that she is not limping anymore. She then saw Kim slowly coming to, her eyes fluttered open as she saw Leaf's big smile in front of her. "What the hell? Girl, are you ok? What's with that creepy smile?"

"Kim, you're ok!" The brunette hugged the girl who patted her back and raise a brow. "Ok, Leaf. I miss you too. Now can you let me go?"

Leaf did exactly that before she turns to Ralts and hugs the little telepath who blushed furiously. "Thank you so much! Thank you…very much for this!"

The Ralts nods before an explosion shook the area, everyone looking at the direction to see a Pokemon flying into a wall along with its trainer who is a Team Rocket grunt. The girls watched as the body fell to the ground, everyone winced when they realized that the person is dead. "I swear I have seen more dead people in the last few weeks than my entire life."

"We need to get outta here!" Leaf said as they run away from the lines of grunts chasing them. They then noticed a few grunts coming towards them from the other side until a Pokemon attacked them, the two of them seeing an angry Delcatty who came beside them. "Wait! Did that Delcatty belong to-"

"Kick their asses, Delcatty!" Kim interrupted which made the feline dash forward and slap the Pokemon aside before it roared, knocking away the group. Leaf fought alongside her friend, her Buneary and Wartortle taking out the troops with ease. They continued like this, gaining an unlikely ally through Delcatty as they travel through the city until they reached the back of a huge building which made both girls confused when they saw the sign. "What the hell? A casino?"

"Well, the pathway did lead to here. Oh! There's even a door there." Leaf said before both of them noticed the back door of the building being knocked off the hinges. Entering the place, they noticed the place being occupied by Team Rocket grunts which Leaf was about to attack until Kim held her back. "Hell no. We're not doing this."

"But-"

"No means no. They're armed to the teeth. Some of them even have guns." Kim whisper-shouted before she noticed Delcatty surveying the place, running to the Pokemon in panic to take it back. As she ran to it and grabbed onto it, she then noticed a stairway to a lower floor. Before they could make a choice, another explosion happened that sent back a couple grunts before they both quickly came to a conclusion and nod at each other. "The stairs?"

"Damn right." She said before they both went down the stairs.

'Damn! We got cut off from the other guys!' Meowth stated with a sigh as they looked around the place. The group then were rewarded with Pokemon running towards them, going into a battle stance until they see that the group went past them. 'What the?'

'Did those Pokemon-' Clef did not get to continue when they noticed a Team Rocket grunt before them with a Golbat flying over his head.

'A grunt?'

'This isn't good!'

Beedrill slowly flew forward, surprising the group until it tackled the grunt, knocking both of them to the floor as it started to hug the individual.

'Uhhh…Beedrill, are you ok?' Meowth said confused as she walks up to the bee only for her eyes to widen in shock. 'Red!'

"Beedrill! Luxio! Meowth! You guys! You guys are ok." Red mumbles, his eyes widening in disbelief as he looked at his Pokemon. The teen starts shaking uncontrollably as his Pokemon tackled him into a hug, returning the embrace as tears fell from his eyes. "I really miss you guys."

'How do you think we feel?!' Beedrill yelled before hugging him tighter, refusing to let go when the other let go of him.

'I would like to enjoy the reunion but we got a team to take down.' Meowth said, her claws extending when a grunt came around the corner, swiftly taking them out with a Slash which alerted Red and the others. Donning a serious expression, Red took out a card, swiping it against a locked door to open it as he gestured for them to follow him. "This way! We got some Pokemon to free!"

"What the fuck?" A Team Rocket grunt yelled when he saw several of his partners sprawled on the floor, trying to run away only to find a growling Delcatty in front of him that made him shake in fear before he took out a whip. "You're just a Delcatty!"

The Pokemon rolled its eyes before it electrocuted the man, knocking him out instantly. After the group was defeated, Leaf cracked her neck while Kim looted the grunts with a grin on her face. "I'm not gonna lie. These grunts have so much good stuff on them. Seriously, some of these TMs are like heaven. Seriously, I never thought they had Flame Charge available in Kanto."

"Exactly! Some of these are gonna help me against Erika-" Leaf was interrupted by an explosion which shook the place, the two almost losing their balance. Leaf simply looked up before she continued searching the hideout, confused when they saw multiple grunts knocked out. "Damn. Someone did a number on these guys."

"Yeah. But the police have not gotten through them yet. Unless someone let a Ghost type go loose or the Rockets have a traitor." Leaf said before they went into a room, noticing a grunt with a huge bag in there that is searching the place. "What is that grunt doing?"

"Beats me." Kim and Leaf watched the grunt as he was typing on the computer with a Golbat that was surveying the area. Sneaking quietly behind the grunt, Leaf slowly took out a stun gun while Kim got Delcatty to get ready as the Pokemon was ready to pounce. They both then rushed forward to attack the grunt only to be stopped by a Koffing as it used Thunderbolt to repel them back, Leaf letting Buneary absorb the attack. Able to reach the grunt, she then continued with her attack only for the grunt to dodge and then grab her, the brunette thrashing in his hold. "Let me the fuck go!"

"Calm down!" The grunt said as Kim tried to attack him only for Golbat and Koffing to block her way.

"No! Let...me...go!" Leaf yelled, head butting him in the face before she spun around and did a kick which he barely blocked.

"Wait! I'm not here to fight you! I'm here to help." The grunt said as he blocked her strikes before she tackled him to the wall. He then slipped from her grasp, running around them until he found himself in a corner as Leaf cracked her knuckles. "Time for me to turn your face black and blue!"

"Leaf! Calm down!" The two of them stopped as they heard the voice, the brunette walking towards him and removed his beret. Both girls was froze in shock when they saw his face, Leaf dropping the beret before she inspected him. "Red!"

"No way…" Kim muttered.

"How are you...still alive? You're ok...you're..." She started sniffling before she held unto Red, jumping on him and hugging him tightly as she cried on his shirt. Red returned the embrace as she looked at him and examined his face. "H-how are you alright? Y-you were…and your Pokegear…And Cassidy said…"

"I barely escaped honestly before I got knocked out…the only reason I was able to survive was thanks to Dusclops." Red explained as Dusclops rose from his shadow and waved at everyone. He then tried to get up, Leaf doing the same while she wiped the tears from her eyes. "Still…how are you dressed as a Rocket grunt? And what happened to your eyes? Aren't they supposed to be red?"

"Joined Team Rocket to infiltrate the place. Had to put on contacts." Red got up and went to the computer while the girls watched him typing away with Meowth jumping down and standing guard by the door along with Golbat. "They were way too good at dodging the police and because of that, we've been trying to make them slip up and get them out for good. Meowth, how's things over there?"

Leaf and Kim were surprised to see the usually timid Red being so serious as Meowth jumped out of the vents and onto his head with a smirk which made Buneary surprised. 'So you were here all this time?!'

'Sup bunny?' The cat yawned, licking her paw before she jumped down to Red's shoulder and wrap her tail around him. 'Red. There's some more Pokemon on a few rooms on the other side of the vents.'

"Nice. So that should be right here." Red smiled as he pressed a button on the computer before standing and tapping his shadow, Dusclops emerging before he made it phase through the wall. As he went towards the door and went on lookout, he then turn to the two girls with a concerned expression.

"Are you guys ok?" He asked, calling Golbat to his arm as he looked at the two girls. "It's just…so many things happened. And this whole conflict…everything's just…"

Red could not get to continue when he felt a hand on his shoulder, looking up to Leaf who gave him a thumbs up. "Yeah…in all honesty, this could've went way more south but we're here now and that's all that matters."

He nodded after hearing that, letting out a sigh of relief before he turned to them. "No problem. As long as you're all alright."

"Ok! I'm going to need your help with freeing the Pokemon here. You guys in?" As he said that, Leaf smirked confidently as she bumped her fist onto Red's shoulder while Kim shrugged. "What do you think? Of course! Let's teach Rockets who's boss."

The trio then moved out, Red letting Golbat fly ahead and scout the area along with Meowth while Leaf and Kim took the rear, defeating any grunts that are following them. After a while, they were able to reunite with Dusclops as Red opened the door, seeing a huge invisible glass that was imprisoning the captured Pokemon.

"What the hell is this?" Leaf said as Misdreavus tried to phase through the glass only to be repelled, much to the girls' confusion while Red inspected the glass. Within the glass, Red saw something that made his eyes widened before he accidentally released Clef who stood tall until he gasped in surprise. 'My family!'

"Not just them. But the Pokemon from Rock Tunnel as well." Red said before they heard a sound, pole erupting from the ground that burst with electricity that hurt the group. "Wait! What's happening, Red?"

"I don't know. Nothing was triggered when I pressed it the first time." Red said desperately before he barely dodged a fireball, the group turning to the door to see a male Team Rocket grunt with a Houndour beside him with a bunch of others outside as they saw a remote in his hand. He immediately fled as Red tried to dash after him only to be stopped by a horde of grunts that were blocking the door. "Damn!"

"What the hell are you fuckers doing?!" One of the grunt said as he released a Machoke which sped towards them only to be taken out by a punch from Clef who had an angry look on his face. Witnesing Clefairy's strength, the rest of the grunts came into the room and threw their own Pokemon which were a group of Golbat that hovered over the trio. Red looked at the captured Pokemon screaming in pain before he clenched his fists and took out a baton, releasing Koffing as he threw Meowth in the air. "Thunderbolt! Both of you!"

Both Meowth and Koffing did as told, the bats avoiding the attack as Red tackled through the group of grunts, turning to Kim and Leaf when he was able to make a pathway. "I'll hold them off! Go catch that Rocket!"

The two girls did not waste time as they made a run for it, chasing the man as Red commanded his Dusclops to guide them. "Dusclops knows the place inside and out, he can help you with finding any shortcuts."

One of the grunts noticed the two girls leaving, taking out a Pokeball only for his hand to be wrapped around by a whip and pulled into Red who punched him in the face before he threw him into another grunt then commanding Clef to use Metronome which turned into Icy Wind which managed to stop all the Golbat in their tracks. "Now you guys answer to me!"

Running towards the group, Red tackled into a grunt before Meowth used Aerial Ace to hit their flying opponents which allowed Golbat to split itself with Double Team and then pull them into a vacuum, surprising the grunts.

"What the hell is this? Was there a grunt this skilled?"

"Damn! Keep your eyes open! We just lost sight of the trainer."

"He's hard to recognize since he's wearing the same clothes as us! Ugh-" A grunt was cut off by a punch to the face, all the grunts looking around only to be confused when another grunt was slammed into the wall. They all started to argue and fight against each other, Red watching the group coming until he gestured Golbat to come closer with the Pokemon. As both groups got close to each other, giving Koffing the opportunity as Red commanded it to use Thunderbolt along with Meowth which electrocuted both groups until Clef used Metronome to use Gravity that descended the Golbat into the grunts, knocking them out.

"Ok, now we can get back to this." Red said before he dashes towards the glass, his eyes widened as he saw some of the Pokemon starting to bleed, desperately looking around for a way to save them. Meanwhile, Clef started to become worried before he starts punching the glass, the Pokemon ignoring the pain in his hands as he continued. Red looked around until he saw a circuit box, knocking it off and looking through the wires as he tried to find a power switch. 'C'mon c'mon! Anything right now!'

The teen clenched his eyes shut and held his breath as he pulled out one of the wires which made everything stopped, letting out a sigh of relief until he hears another sound as the walls started to move, much to their horror.

"Where is Leaf and the others?" He said as he dashed out of the room, trying to calm himself as he released Luxio, making the Pokemon use Charge before he made it look around the place when its eyes started glowing. Meanwhile, Leaf and Kim were chasing after the grunt, the man getting a distance from them through using his Houndour's fire attacks.

"This is getting annoying!" Kim said as Leaf sped forward only to fail again when Houndour shot another wave of fire. Taking out Wartortle, Leaf then noticed the fire in its mouth turn to electricity as she noticed Delcatty dashed forward.

"Shock Wave now!" Kim said as Delcatty used the attack which clashed with Houndour's which gave Watortle dash forward with Water Pulse before slamming its tail into Houndour and knocking it out with Brick Break. The grunt clicked his teeth, about to turn a corner only to find Dusclops waiting.

"Shit!" He then turned again only to be hit with a bolt of lightning, Luxio standing over his unconscious body before Buneary caught the remote and dashed towards Red with Agility, throwing the remote to the teen as he turned and turned off the machine which stopped with sputtering sound, the captured Pokemon safe which made Red and Clef sighing in relief. He then pressed another button which made the glass mirror disappear as Clef ran to his family, the group celebrating with a hug as the rest of the Pokemon ran to hug Red and the girls for saving them.

'Thank you so much! Thank you!'

They accepted their thanks, Red's expression hardened as he sees the scars that they all have, his heart ached as he accidentally touched one of the surgery scar on a Pichu only for it to flinch in pain.

'Why? Who could hurt them like this?' He thought to himself, one of the Pokemon touching him on the cheek as they all smiled at him which made him all the more angry as he hid his face with his beret. Taking a deep breath, he got up and gestured the Pokemon. "This way! We need to get those scars and sounds checked."

The moment he turned around and step out of the room, a Team Rocket grunt released a Lucario who went in front of the room, a huge blast charged in its hands as it ran towards the group. Red was about to command Dusclops until he noticed the Lucario vanished, appearing right behind as it aimed for the captured Pokemon. "Not again."

'Noooo!' Clef yelled before his body starts to glow a cosmic aura, his hands getting enveloped by it before they both turn into a rocky-like iron as it punched the Pokemon, a yellow swirling trail following its hands until the Pokemon got sent across the place, shocking everyone.

"What the hell was that?" Leaf said as she dashed and took down the grunt with a kick to the stomach.

'That's Meteor Mash!' One of the Clefable said as Clef fell to the ground, panting as he looked at his hands which are covered in smoke. 'I…did that…?'

As they all saw the last grunt get knocked out by a kick from Leaf, everyone heard footsteps from above, looking down the hallway to see the police force entering the hideout which made everyone relax and sigh in relief. Within the troops, Leaf's eyes widened as she noticed someone, running towards him with her arms open. "Dad!"

"Leaf? Leaf!" Mr. Green said as he struggled through the group, Leaf jumping to her father who immediately accepted his daughter, tears in his eyes as he hugged her tightly. "Leaf…oh Leaf. I was so worried."

"It's alright, dad. I'm a tough girl and look! Just a few bruises!" Leaf said as she spun around which got a laugh from the man before he turned to Red. The boy looked up to see a serious expression from the man which made the teen sigh before he looked up in defiance as the man came closer. 'Here we go again. Well, I am in a Team Rocket outfit so-'

Mr. Green shook the boy's hand then hugged Red, something that surprised the teen before he heard the man. "Thank you, son…thank you so much…for saving everyone here…for your valiant efforts."

Red was in pure shock as the man released him from the hug and patted his head, a proud smile on his face. "Not many would do what you have done today, Red Fires."

"You're not here…to yell at me?" Red said as his mind processed what happened.

"No. I'm quite thankful for what you have done but please. Next time, be careful with what you do. We will speak about this later. There are things to be done now." The man said before leaving with the rest of the officers as they inspected the place, the girls and Pokemon watching them until they noticed Red still frozen in shock before he looked to the floor. After a while, the hideout was cleared, the grunts being arrested into SUVs as Red and the company watched the captured Pokemon being put into the ambulance trucks.

"Are you ok, Clef?" Red asked Clef who is waving at his family members, a smile on the usually stoic Fairy type.

'Yeah…Finally, I did it. I saved them.' Clef said, his smile growing bigger as he sees his family leaving. Red smiled as well, crouching and patting the Pokemon on its head as he watched the police take them to safety. "You wanna go along with them? This was your main reason for coming along, isn't it? You wanted to save them."

Clefairy looked to the sky, seeing the orange hue overlapping the blue colors before he shake his head. 'No! I want to become the strongest I can be. Since going with you, I realize that I can do so much more, become much more. This journey taught me so much.'

As he said that, he traced his fingers along the 'X' shaped slash that he received from Gabite with a determined expression. 'I even found opponents I want to aspire to be, some who I want to beat. Plus…'

'…we promised to be the best of partners, right? And you wanted for me to be strong? Right?' He turned to Red, a huge smile on his face as he lifted his fist. Red nodded and also lifted his hand, the two of them bumping fists before they started laughing, Leaf smiling which did not go unnoticed by Kim. "Why are you so happy?"

"He hasn't been smiling since we reunited." Leaf said, patting her Buneary who laid down on her lap. "He looks better with a smile."

The group looked onwards, Mr. Green about to offer them a ride until he got a call from one of the officers from the outskirts of the city. "What is up?"

"Sir! You need to get out of there quick!" Mr. Green became immediately concerned when he heard the officer's tone.

"Calm down. What do you mean?"

"There's some smoke cloud coming towards your location. It seems to knock people out! Some of our officers taking guard are asleep! Anyway, you need to go quickly!"

"Oh no! Eve-" Before he could do anything, they all heard an explosion before feeling an immense pressure. Red looking back to see a huge Steelix coming out of the Casino before it roared, the shockwave sending back Leaf and the others before it lunges at her who tried to attack it with Watortle but it had no effect. 'What the? Oh no! I won't be quick enough to avoid its attack.'

Before she could do anything, she was pushed out of the way and launched a few miles from her position until she was able to stop and turn around, her eyes widened as Red faced against the iron snake. The teen dodged its attack before retaliating with Dusclops until the Pokemon opened its mouth, a huge blast formed before it shot it out, destroying the area and knocking out everyone.

"Ughh…what happened?" Leaf said as she woke up, rubbing her head in pain as she looked around only to see flames around the area, what used to be the Casino is now just debris. "What the? Dad? Kim? Red?"

The brunette looked around the place for everyone, after a while she breathed a sigh of relief when she found her father leaning on a wall, covered in burns and bruises as she ran up to him. "Dad! Are you ok?"

"Yeah. It's gonna take more than this to take me out!" Mr. Green chuckled before he started coughing, the man grunting in pain as he tried to move himself only for Leaf to notice that his leg is broken. "Dad! You're hurt!"

"It's ok. It's not as bad as it looks." Mr. Green chuckled, panting heavily while Leaf searched and was able to find Kim, running to the girl only to see she has no life threating wounds, much to the brunette's relief. She then continued looking around, using her father's phone to call an ambulance until after several minutes of searching, she noticed something.

"Hey dad. Where's Red?" Leaf asked, her father's expression hardened before he turned to his left. She followed his gaze to see a huge hole in the ground which surprised her. She walked over to it and looked down only to see a part of the hideout there being visible, confusion taking her as she has never been to that part of the hideout before. "He was attacked…he fought off the Steelix but it ate him and left."

Leaf's eyes widened in shock, her heart feeling a pang before she let out a breath. "Not again. I lost you once."

She then ran to her dad, quickly treating his wounds the best she can and straightening his leg before she turned around to the hole, her father eyes widened when he realize what she is about to do. "Wait! Leaf! At least until we have more reinforcements!"

"I'm sorry, Dad! I can't wait any further! I'll make sure to be careful! And I'll be right back." She smiled at her father before she prepared herself as she jumped down the hole, her Wartortle using Protect as she descended down and hear her father's voice getting quieter as she went further.

"Leaf! Leaf!"

"Ugghhh!" Erika groaned in pain before she got up before she released a Leafeon who kept guard as she got up.

"Damn you. We were so close." Sabrina lifted herself from the floor and clutched her bruised arm as they both look at an immense smoke cloud, her Espeon beside her shielding both of them from the miasma as it came closer.

"It's good to see you again, Sabrina. My, have the years treated you well. And good evening, Miss Erika! Please pardon my rude manners." Two silhouettes emerged from the smoke, one of them showing Thalia as she had a Weezing and Nidoking beside her. The other silhouette came out, making Sabrina shake in fear and Erika gasp in shock as they come face to face with the man's menacing glare. "You have done a lot to the place. I must give my gratitude to you and the police that have aided you in this little rebellion you guys had."

"This is the worst possible scenario." Sabrina clicked her teeth which Erika heard before she readied her bow. Both gym leaders were able to stand, Sabrina taking up a whip with a troubled face before she glared at the man in the suit. 'I can't forget that face. That face that kept me under his thumb for years.'

"Is that him, Brina?" Erika asked, taking out an arrow and readying herself as Sabrina started to float.

"Yep. That's the guy, Erika!" The man put his hands in his pocket and wore a grin as he looked around the city, enjoying the breeze as Sabrina concluded. "Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket!"

Woo! Baby! That's what I've been waiting! That's what it's all about! Alright, jokes aside. Sorry for taking long with this, I had to make some serious changes so yeah! This is the result of a lot of changes to the story and all. Not gonna lie, I love writing Red in this chapter, although it was almost a month but I'm a little proud of his growth. Don't know if you all will agree with me but you can tell me your thoughts. Well, I'm gonna go now and I hope that you guys are safe. Enigma out!
