"Do I really need to be here?"

This was what Red said while crossing his arms and leaning against one of the changing rooms, trying his best to stay invisible as Poli blew bubbles on his shoulder. The raven haired teen, who is dressed in the clothes he got from his mother, hid his face with his cap when he heard giggles from the girls in the store, some of them waving at him and patting him on his head.

"C'mon, sweetie! It's alright! I need a man's thoughts on this."

"Wouldn't the store clerks help with that since they're technically experts on this matter?"

"Red, you think too much. Now, how do I look?" Leaf said in the changing room, coming out in a light sleeveless blue shirt and a red miniskirt along with long blue socks and red and white shoes before she turned to Red, adjusting her hat.

"Finally! My own hat! I can finally do that cool hat thing you always do." She said excitedly before she holds the brim of her hat and positions it to show one of her eyes, the pose made Red raise a brow. 'Do I really look that cool?'

"Yes, yes you do." Leaf answered with a smile, surprising Red who jumped, Poli nearly falling from his shoulder. "I didn't eve-"

"I know. But those red eyes reveal everything to me." She said while inspecting his clothing before she started tracing her finger along his jacket, wearing a huge smirk. "Also you're rocking that jacket, it's showing...everything~"

"Uhh…ok." Red said, stepping back only for Leaf to tackle him into a hug, rubbing herself against his chest, the boy not noticing her drooling as she starts pressing her face against his abdomen. 'My...everything...'

She then quickly releases him, changing back into her regular black dress before she buys the new clothes, Red letting out a sigh of relief when they left the store until he noticed something. "You didn't ask for my opinion though."

"Your reaction was enough." She gave him a wink, the two buying food then returning to their room to see Kimberley brushing Delcatty's hair before she got up and looked at herself in the mirror while puffing her hair.

"Man, I love this turtleneck. It fits too well. And it's so comfy!" Kimberley sighed, the duo seeing her dressed in a green turtleneck and a pair of black short jeans with blue sneakers.

"Don't make out with yourself now." Leaf giggled as she brought lunch to the bluenette who happily took the food. The girl shrugged off her friend before sitting down. "Little Leaf, my child. That's what boys are for."

"Is that so?" Leaf said, giving Red a glance while he looked after his egg along with Poli before he turns to her, the girl blowing a kiss to him which made him blush much to the girls' amusement. Kim then walked up to Red and took off his cap and felt his hair before she put a hand on her chin while Leaf took the cap and wore it. "Why don't you cut her hair and fix it-"

"No." Red said, his serious tone catching the two girls off guard. "Barbers are evil. Plain and simple."

"What just happened?"

"I don't know but I'm gonna enjoy this." Leaf said as she strutted beside Red, Kim shrugging before going back to the Pokemon Center. The teen then took the day to chill out in their room, Red watching one of the Teachy TV programmes while cooking lunch before he overheard the conversation between his two roommates.

"Yeah, I know. I thought today was the day but it sucks I can't challenge Erika. I think I got it this time." Leaf complained, eating her food with a pout, earning a laugh from Kimberley. "You said that last time. Well anyways, it can't be helped. She's a busy gal."

"It still sucks. Gym Leaders got it tough."

"You're telling me." Kim was about to go for another bite of her food until she saw her Delcatty ate some of her lunch. "Hey! Eat your own damn food! Jeez, I feed you Pokefood and you even take Red's Poffins but you just gotta be an asshole, huh!"

"Delcatty giving you issues?" Leaf guessed, her eyes glued to a game on her Pokegear.

"Yup! She took the meat too! I was saving that!" Kim glared to her Pokemon who took a nap, much to her annoyance. The two started to bicker until Kim gave up, glaring at the purple cat who licked her paws and smiled triumphantly. "I thought Purugly was a headache. Looks like it's back to square one again…"

Hearing her friend sigh, Leaf let out a shaky laugh before she noticed Kim glaring at Red who finished making lunch, his Meowth hanging from the back of his shirt. "How does he do it?"

"I dunno actually. Meowth just 'zinged' with him. I never asked but…how did you get Delcatty?" The brunette asked as she drank her juice, Kimberley twirling the cat's Pokeball in her hands. "I guess Delcatty recognized how much of a badass trainer I was and she came with me. Right Red?"

'She honestly reminded me of my previous owner. A headache with some migraine.' Delcatty deadpanned which made Red and Meowth nearly laugh at the purple feline's words, their struggles unnoticed by the two girls before he decided to answer. "Yup! She says you're one of a kind."

'You're awful, you know that?' His Pokemon smirked as it climbed onto his head, the teen smiling and scratching his cheek. "Better that than her feelings being hurt."

He then saw Leaf sulking and pouting on the couch, sitting beside Leaf with his Meowth jumping into his lap before he asks a question. "What's wrong?"

"She's nettled that she can't challenge Erika. Went to the gym and whoosh…she wasn't there."

"Oh really? Is it not your turn to challenge the gym?" Red said, petting his Meowth's hair to which Leaf leans on his shoulder, pausing to drink some of her soda. "It is but Erika isn't taking challenges today. She's going on some expedition or something."

"Oh. Bummer. But that just means you have more time, right?" He tried his best to encourage her, getting a groan from the girl before his Pokegear rang. Looking to see no caller ID, the teen raise a brow before he answered the call. "Uhh. Hello."

"I know your secret. If you don't want me to broadcast it to the public. Meet me in an hour by the Celadon Casino."

Hearing this, complete silence followed as Red paused to think about the situation before he said the first thing that came to his mind. "What?"

"Youngsters, no sense of comedy. Just come to the Celadon Casino, kid. And don't tell Leaf please."

"Uhhh. Ok." Red said, scratching his head and ending the call which made Leaf raise an eyebrow. "Red honey, what's wrong?

"I don't know but I gotta go." He said with a confused look on his face as he put down Meowth who slept in the living room before Beedrill and Luxio joined him, the teen leaving Leaf and Kim in the living room. "What's his problem?"

"I dunno. But I can't get over how good he looks in that jacket."

"Sorry if I'm late." Red said as he took a moment to catch his breath, looking to see Mr. Green patting him on his back. "Nonsense. If there's anything, we should be sorry for taking up your time, Red."

"Yeah. We just arrived." Erika said while Mr. Green released his Manectric before he cleared his throat. "She's not wrong. And we kinda got you on short notice. Anyways, we're going to need your help with this."

They turned to what was left of the Celadon Casino, seeing the place now covered in caution tapes. "We're going on a little expedition to salvage as much info as we can about them."

This made Sabrina raise a brow. "I thought Red gave you enough info."

"He has but that was just general information on the experiments on their Pokemon which is valuable but we need more insight. At least a clue on their next move."

"That's where you three come in." Derek chimed in before he quickly bowed down. "Oh, sorry! My name's Derek, Mr. Green's assistant."

Annoyed, Mr. Green pinched the bridge of his nose before he groaned. "For the love of…He's my second in command. Anyways, like he said, we need your help."

"Me, sir? How?" Red asked with his brow raised.

"You know more about the place than the rest of us." Sabrina explained, getting a nod from Erika who is glaring at him, making the teen uncomfortable. "Erika. Please stop glaring at the kid like that. Forgive her please."

"Can't you just read my mind though?" Red suggested only to receive a slight karate chop to the head. "Kid, I don't just read people's minds whenever I feel like it."

"Unless it's in a battle." Erika chimed in before her mouth got clenched shut. "Now like I was saying. I don't use this unless I have to. Plus…uh…"

'I see things that are very hard to cleanse from my brain.' She said telepathically to Red, blushing before she turns around, much to everyone's confusion. Red sighed before he agreed, everyone nodding before they all entered into the hideout, Manectric glowing with electricity which provided them with light as they started exploring. As they searched in the rooms, the group came across debris covering their path that were moved away by Sabrina as they were able to find some valuables, including a map.

"Honestly, I expected this place to be more messed up." Erika said after they checked a few rooms, seeing the abnormally good condition of the hideout before Red led them into one of the lab rooms only to see it destroyed.

"Well, this place was made to survive the worse of situations. Gotta give it to them, they did an amazing job." Mr. Green said as they reached into a room, him and Derek explored the laboratory. Searching the whole room and finding nothing, the two policemen scratching their heads in confusion before Erika noticed Sabrina and Red on a computer, the esper lifting a brow when she opened a folder. "You found anything, Sabrina?"

"Not really. It's just documents of Pokemon and their…stats and powers? Huh? So according to this, my Haunter physical strength is bad."

"Really? Wait! That's unfair! My Bellossom and Vileplume is much faster than that!" Erika pouted angrily which got a chuckle from Sabrina while Red continued looking through the files. "How is a Bellsprout stronger than an Onix? It's an Onix, a slam from its tail literally shakes the place."

"Hmmm. Wait. Pseudo-legendaries? What's that?" Mr. Green asked when he spotted a file, Red opening it which showed pictures and information of strong Pokemon. "Pokemon with powers that rivals the legendaries?"

"This is based off the stats list that we saw. These seem to be the strongest out of all the Pokemon listed on the previous folder. Interesting." Derek said as he took out a hard drive while Red stayed silent which did not go unnoticed by Sabrina.

"That would explain why they have such powerful Pokemon. And the moves they had as well." Erika stated with their arms folded. "To use their Pokemon like this? And the experiments? This is just repulsive."

"Hmm. Natures? EVs? Sound like videogame terms. Let's see if we can find more data." Mr. Green pondered as they browsed through the folders. After a half an hour of searching, they saw gruesome experiments done on the Pokemon, the data making Red came to a realization. 'This is the same as the results for the Pokemon League records. This even check their possibilities of other abilities and their usefulness in battle. Even drugs for them to optimize the best of their abilities. Almost like…"

"They're tools." Red silently muttered, clenching his fists with an angered expression which Sabrina noticed before he calmed down. After a while, Derek finished uploading the data on his hard drive before joining everyone else as they left the room. Continuing with their exploration, they came across a huge, closed room that Red remembered as he gestured Mr. Green's Manectric to shoot electricity at a switch which opened it. Entering the room, the group looked around the room, seeing multiple empty tubes and cylinders.

"What is this room?" Mr. Green asked, as he flashed his light around the place, his Manectric using its electricity which made the room light up. As the bulbs sparked to life, the group was taken aback as they inspected the room, Red touched the cylinder where he found his Eevee. "Project Evolution Versatility Elixir. EVE. Never got to look through the entire room the first time."

"So you got that odd Eevee from here?" Derek questioned during their inspection, getting a nod from the raven haired teen. After a few minutes of checking, Sabrina found a hidden room, moving all the equipment in front of the entrance before she alerted the rest of the group as Erika asked a question. "So where is that Eevee right now?"

Red came out of the pile of boxes in the corner he was rummaging through before answering. "He's with Bill right now. Its genetic makeup is very unstable so he's trying to cure it."

This caught everyone's attention as they looked at the teen. "Unstable how?"

"Last week, while I was playing with Eevee, he accidentally touched one of my Fire Stones, evolving into a Flareon."

"A normal occurrence." Sabrina said, Red agreeing before he continued. "Yeah. It would be if it didn't turn into a Vaporeon after touching one of my Water Stones. It was odd."

Hearing the teen, Derek had to make a double take before he went closer to the teen. "Hold on. Just so I'm not hearing things. You said it changed from a Flareon to a Vaporeon, right?"

"Yeah. It then reverted back to an Eevee when I sent it to Bill."

"What on earth?" Mr. Green said in disbelief before they all went into the hidden room, standing in shock as they saw what was inside.

"This is inhumane…" Sabrina said with disgust.

"What the?"

"Oh my God."

"Those are Eevee…" Erika gasped as she put her hands before her mouth, the rest repulsed by the gruesome scene. Blood was splattered on the floor, some of it staining the walls as everyone saw various body parts of Pokemon on the floor, Erika's eyes stepped back. "What kind of sick, twisted people would do this?"

"I think I'm gonna be sick…" Sabrina said, a little unhinged. Red could not believe what was in front of him.

'Why would someone do this?' Anger started to flow through him, the teen trying his best to calm himself but found no result as he looked more into the room.

'Did Eevee have to go through this? Did he get…' His eyes glowed intensely which was noticed by Sabrina when she saw the black aura emanating from him and his shadow getting bigger. 'They need to-'

"Calm down, Red!" He was cut off by Sabrina's voice which shocked him out of his thoughts.

"Calm…down…" The woman said calmly, telling the teen starting to take deep breaths when he held his head and look to the floor as she came over and patted his back. The group noticed the teen's condition, Mr. Green spoke his mind. "You ok, kid?"

"A little. I'm going to take him outside. He needs some fresh air." Sabrina suggested to which the man agreed to, Erika following the duo as they went outside. Feeling the breeze, the three sat down as Sabrina stretched her arms.

"Good thing it's a slow day." Erika said, noticing Red massaging his temples before Sabrina put her hands over his head, her eyes glowing which made the teen calm down. "What's wrong? Still feel nauseous?"

"Yeah…" Red nodded before a strong aroma hit his nose, the teen looking up to see Erika giving him an herb with a smile. "This herb helps with headaches and nausea."

Seeing the teen bowing to her and taking a whiff of the herb, Erika smiled when Haunter frightened him which made Sabrina let out a chuckle. 'That look. It reminds me of…him.'

After a while, the esper noticed a change in the teen's eyes, seeing them show a much different glint and shade. "How long have you known that you were a Channeler, Red?"

"Uhh. Little over a month ago?" Red said as he checked the date on his Pokegear, patting Haunter which made Erika confused. "So how isn't he able to levitate things?"

"If it was only that easy." Sabrina said before she squished Red's cheeks and played with his face. "Hey-uh-umm. Ms. Sabrina."

"He's growing, Erika. I'm surprised that he's able to do so much with his powers. I would teach him but he needs time for his body to adapt to his powers." Sabrina explained telepathically to Erika who nodded in understanding before she noticed his eyes, seeing his pupils being white. "What's wrong with his eyes?"

"He's overdoing it with his powers. He needs rest."

"Why though?"

"His body is fatigued. He has a tendency of using his powers on autopilot, it seems." The Psychic trainer stated with a emotionless tone, Erika nodded before she giggled at the woman pulling back Red's hair and tying it into a mini ponytail before he got out her grasp and asks a question that was on his mind. "I wanted to ask. Are you able to help me with my powers? Mr. Fuji told me that you have helped previous Channelers before and you can help me with mine."

The esper then squeezed his cheeks with a slight look of annoyance. "Your powers are not something that you can use as you please, Red. Didn't Mr. Fuji tell you that?"

"Yeah. I went through a little phase." He said, tapping his shadow which revealed Dusclops, Haunter then jumping into it like a child hopping into a pool. Sabrina's expression softened upon seeing the teen whose eyes started to dim. "It was weird. And it's scary. Almost like I'm being ripped out of my own body."

"That's to be expected." Sabrina stated while Erika, upon hearing Red's statement, was about to say something when Sabrina stopped her. "Don't. They're called Channelers for a reason, Erika. Their powers come from them channeling their power from Ghost type Pokemon. Using just a bit of his powers can push his body to its limits if their body is not up to the task. And when that happens, they get possessed."

"For now, prioritizing on getting your body better. After you get the Rainbow Badge, you can come to me." Red heard Sabrina in his mind, looking at her with a brow raised before he sees a smirk on her face. The three continued their conversation, Red slowly understanding the two women until Sabrina looked at the time. "Alright, let's go back. And Red…just focus on navigating us through the hideout."

"Yes, ma'am." Red answered before the trio went back, seeing the two officers coming out of the hidden room with disgusted expressions before Mr. Green noticed them. "Are you ok, my boy?"

"Yes sir. Sorry about that." Red apologized silently, the man let out a smile. "It's alright. We did drag you into this so if anyone should be sorry, it's me. Now, Derek."

"Yes sir. We found some more info on this little project that they had. Follow me." Derek said, leading everyone into an extra room in the back, the place covered in purple goo. Confused, Red touched the sticky gel which made him curious. "What is this?"

"The bodily fluid of Ditto." Derek answered while showing them the place, the three seeing only destroyed equipment on the floor. "This is the heart of the Project EVE program. The ability to revert or evolve Pokemon is due to…"

"How messy this place is?" Erika joked, getting a slight chuckle from Sabrina.

"The use of Ditto's Ability..." Red read aloud a file that he found, going through it until he saw a picture of the purple slime beside a diagram of a small hairless cat with a long tail the teen immediately recognized. "Isn't that Mew?"

"Mew? Sorry if my knowledge of the Pokedex isn't all that great, you're saying that Pokemon is Mew?" Derek questioned as he ran beside the teen taking out a notepad.

"Yeah. See?" Red checked his Pokedex, the creature on the diagram resembles the New Species Pokemon which surprised the two officers. He continued checking through the papers but was disappointed when he noticed the rest of the pages being burn until he saw something at the back of one of the books. "Cloning process? Similarities?"

"They could be talking about how similar Ditto and Mew are." Sabrina stated while looking through the room, the woman putting her hands on her head before her eyes started glowing. "He always talked about how the two are connected somehow. Along with the Professor."

"What was that?" Derek asked, seeing the woman's eyes stopped glowing before she clutched her head in pain, Erika running up to her as she slowly stood up. "Ugghh. I don't know where that came over me but my brain felt like it was on fire."

Mr. Green recognized this as he released his Medicham, putting a hand on Sabrina's head, the Pokemon glowing before Sabrina felt relief. "Thank you."

"You're welcome. Now back to what you were all saying about similarities. You say both Ditto and Mew are somehow the same?"

"Probably through their ability to transform. I have read that Mew has the ability to copy any move possible. Team Rocket may think that Ditto through its use of transformations could be related to the deity since it can technically learn every move by transforming into any Pokemon it wants." Sabrina stated as she tries to look for any hidden compartments until she sees a burnt piece of photo about the Pokemon on the ground. "There used to be info on the Pokemon here but now…nothing."

After the group got out of the room, they continued their excursion, passing through several rooms and labs, finding some clues until they came across the last two rooms. As they checked one of the paths, Red noticed that the doors were sealed shut before he looked around the place.

"Is that an elevator? I never saw this before." Erika said, Sabrina using her telekinesis to pull the doors apart before she pulls the elevator, Red's Beedrill sticking the car in place as they followed to the others. As they entered the room, they saw the two officers clicking on a file that made Red and Erika's eyes widened in shock. On the screen were Pokemon who were shown to have different forms, the group seeing the Pokemon growing bigger and some even looking different from how they looked in the Pokedex. "What is this?"

"Golduck, Tauros…so many Pokemon have this…abnormal form…" Derek said as he checked through the list with a serious expression on his face. "Team Rocket dubbed it False Mega Evolution."

"That's what that Muk was…" Erika said when she checked more of the files, Sabrina lifting some of the boxes along with Red. After searching the room, the group were not able to find anything else, coming out empty handed as they made their way towards the elevator. "So this is the only one left, huh?"

"Yeah. Let's continue." They all went into it, Red ripping the binding which made the elevator car descend further down the hideout, Sabrina stopping the car until it stopped. Wandering through the place, the group was introduced to ruin and destruction only to see two metal fortified doors, Mr. Green about to attack the door until they saw the doors opened before they saw Red pressing a switch with an innocent smile.

"Carry on." Mr. Green pinched the bridge of his nose, the group seeing a huge 'R' at the back of the place as they entered, Sabrina had a look of realization on her face as she traced her fingers through the room. "This room…it's familiar…"

"So that is the room of the Team Rocket leader?" Derek stated as he walked around the room, seeing the table that was partially charred with some of the items in the room being destroyed. "It's thrashed though. Every important document is destroyed."

"Yeah. This was done to cover their tracks." Mr. Green said before he checked the table, finding some items in the drawers before he took out a broken telescope that Red noticed. "That item!"

"What?"

"This is the item that one of the admins used in the Ghost Tower." Red explained, his eyes glowed maliciously for a second while he inspected the device until he found something that gave him have a bad feeling in his stomach. "This insignia. It's the Silph Co. logo. It's not the only one either."

"Hmmm." Mr. Green folded his arms before Sabrina's eyes widened. "Of course…that explains Cameron being here…he could be fooled by them…"

"It's possible." Erika pondered when she released her Bulbasaur who started to throw garbage and pieces of machinery with Vine Whip while Red checked the computers and books with a huge smile. After an hour, the group found themselves at a loss, Mr. Green took up some of the burnt papers on the floor and sorting them while Derek was checking on the main computer in the room. "Found something, commissioner?"

"These..." Mr. Green pointed at the documents, Derek looking at the sorted pile until he let out a gasp. "These are files on the legendary birds."

Sabrina walked up and read the folders. "Articuno, Zapdos...they even have Moltres."

"Their typings, powers, even the places where they usually roost." Derek read as he took a paper from the pile. "You think he's trying to capture them?"

"Knowing that man, it's possible…" Sabrina said when she levitated a piece of paper before she gave it to Derek. "…and I feel that will help us in finding out."

Red found several teleporters that were destroyed while Derek tries to access the computer but was finding difficulty as he frustratingly typed. "Weird. This computer is heavily protected."

As he continued decrypting the computer, something started to float in the shadows, slithering around the place as it watched everyone. As Red accidentally tripped, it quickly sped towards him, about to lift its hand and attack.

"Move out of the way!" Sabrina yelled, pulling the teen out of the way before a bunch of wires latched onto his foot, tightening its grip around the limb until Manectric rips the wires and shot a bolt of lightning at their attack that sent it into a wall. Before they could do anything else, a computer rose from the ground then attacked them, letting out bolts of electricity which they dodged, the lightning being absorbed by Manectric.

"The computers are alive!" Derek yelled, before he got hit by one of the wires that sent him into a wall. The wires was about to hit him again until it was stopped by Erika and Bulbasaur, Sabrina quickly taking the chance to freeze the Pokemon and made her Haunter slam the computer on the floor. While the battle raged on, Red noticed electricity travelling through the appliances before it went to a printer which immediately spat out papers at the group. 'Is that a Rotom?'

"I'd rather do without paper cuts." Sabrina stopped the paper in midair, her Haunter tackling the machinery into a wall, Red immediately noticed a spark of electricity travelling through the wires, the teen quickly telling Beedrill to slash them.

"Jackpot!" The teen smiled as the wires came to life before he pointed at them, tapping his shadow. "Disable."

As he said that, a red eye glowed in his shadow which released a crimson wave that made the wires fall to the ground, much to Red's relief. "Phew! I thoug-"

A burst of electricity went in the air, making the objects levitate and spin only to be stopped by Haunter before Red made Beedrill shot String Shot, everyone hearing sounds to see their attacker trapped in the silk. Walking to the Pokemon, Erika raised a brow at the polygon looking duck creature. "A Porygon?"

Struggling against its bindings, Porygon started glowing, blasting away the strings, shooting lasers at the group which was blocked by Haunter's attacks until Beedrill shot a String Shot to reel it in then smacking it with Assurance. The Pokemon tried getting up but was stopped when a Pokeball hit it, the creature being sucked into the capsule and fighting within it until everyone heard a click.

"Nice!" Red smiled as he took up the capsule, the ball then opening and revealing the Pokemon before it dashed into the computer that Derek was trying to access. "Hey wait!"

Hearing multiple sounds through the computer, it then came out of the computer and jumped into Red's Pokegear as the teen started to check on it. "What the? My diary? Hey, don't send that to Leaf! Uh oh…"

"What's this? It bypassed the security…so easily." Derek said in disbelief as he typed on the computer, seeing no firewalls on the computer.

"We gotta thank our little friend." Mr. Green said as they all turn to see Red sweating bullets when he got a text from Leaf showing a smiley face. "Well, not now."

Browsing the information on the computer while he transferred them to his drive, Derek found something that caught his eye. "A…Pokeball?"

"That ain't like any Pokeball I've seen." Mr. Green stated before he looked at the diagrams on the computer. "It's designed to catch the legendary birds."

"Oh my. This doesn't bode well for us." Erika said to which Sabrina nodded, Mr. Green continued. "I mean, his goal is to rule Kanto. Why would he need the legendary Pokemon?"

"It's possible that he might be some form of fanatic or is obsessed with power." Erika said which made Sabrina slightly frustrated. "Hey, it's ok if you don't remember anything. Just take it easy."

"What do you mean 'don't remember anything'?" Mr. Green asked, all eyes on Sabrina which made the esper a bit uncomfortable which did not go unnoticed by the brunette as he sighed. "Let's go outside of the room."

The man then led to the two women out of the room, letting Sabrina create a barrier before he folded his arms and gestured her to start. "The bos-Giovanni seemed to have erased my memories. I have no recollection of anything I did when I used to be apart of Team Rocket. This place is bringing memories but it's almost like-"

"They're being sealed?" Mr. Green guessed which surprised the two women. Seeing their expressions, he turned to the room and pointed at Red who was chasing his floating Pokedex. "That boy over there had the same issue with a previous accident. And anytime I try to unlock those memories, it causes him painful headaches. It could be the same with you."

Erika was surprised by this development before Sabrina looked down on the ground in shock. "T-that's why…that's why he looked familiar. I've seen him before…"

Seeing Red chasing his Pokegear along with Beedrill before he fell, the woman's eyes widened in shock before she felt an intense pain course through her head which made Mr. Green and Erika worried. "Are you ok, Brina?"

"Yeah…I'm ok. Just a bad headache." Sabrina said, rubbing her aching head before getting up. After another hour of inspection, the group let out a collective sigh at finding nothing until they then heard Derek celebrating loudly as he took out a hard drive, playing with it and gesturing everyone to leave while Red heard another beeping sound from his Pokegear. 'Bzzt! Hello Red! Bzzt!'

"Hello there, Porygon." Red said when he saw a waving emoji before a grumpy face followed. 'Bzzt! Porygon does not want to be called Porygon! Porygon wants to be called… Bzzt!'

Red raised a brow as he thought about his options until he heard beeping sounds, looking at his Pokegear to see it show a single word. "You wanna be named Virus?"

'Bzzt! Yes. Bzzt!' The Pokemon beamed, making the device jumped into the air before falling into his hands. 'Bzzt! Virus gets to be called Virus! Bzzt!'

Red smiled as they left the place, unaware of a silhouette in the shadows who looked at the group before they went into the room, looking at the computer with a grin before he destroyed the machinery while sitting in the seat, taking out a picture with Giovanni that was holding a small trophy with a smile on his face.

"My, Giovanni. You left quite the mess..."

Holding the picture, the light shined to the little juvenile that looks to be a younger Red who has boxing gloves on his hands. "...For the sake of Seucra, you better hope this does not end up biting you in the ass."

It was several days after the expedition, Red, Leaf, Kimberley and the two gym leaders watch as Mr. Green and the police filled up the last of the trucks until the man approached them with a smile on his face. He then quickly grabbed his daughter, much to her embarrassment. "Dad! I'll miss you too but can you not do this?"

"Why not? I'm gonna miss you so much!" The man tearfully said as he lifted Leaf in the air, the group snickering at the girl's blushing. Lowering his daughter and clearing his throat, the man turned to the rest as he made a handshake with Erika and Sabrina. "I want to once again thank you both for your efforts."

"How did he…" Red was about to say when Kim held his shoulder and shook her head. "Trust me. You will have more question than answers. Stock it up to him being Leaf's dad."

"Yeah. The government needs to know this. I'm going back to Viridian City so it's best to carry the Pokemon at Mt. Moon with me." The man turned to look at the Pokemon with a smile on his face before he noticed Red walking up and speaking with them along with Clef and Cleffy as the two pink fairies bidding farewell to their families. The teen then released Golbat and Koffing giving them some items before he patted them. "I hope you guys stay safe. I enjoyed the time that we had together even though it hasn't been long."

'Thank you so much.' Koffing said with a grumpy tone, rubbing his cheeks with Red as some of the Pokemon started laughing at the weird sight.

'Yeah! You're the coolest ever!' Gollbat screamed while flying around Red, Beedrill tightening her embrace on him as she glared at the bat with a jealous stare.

"I wish for you guys to live good lives. I'll visit you when I come by again." Red said with a smile as he hugs the two Pokemon until they hear a couple beeps. The teen watched the Pokemon entering the vehicle as everyone started to get ready before he released the two Pokemon, giving them a smile.

"You know, I never expected a bond between a boy and his Koffing and Golbat to be so…cute." Kimberley commented, getting a shared nod of agreement from the rest of the females before Mr. Green approached the teen, the two engaging in a handshake. "I wish the best of your journeys, kid."

"Thank you, sir." Red said to the man before they all left, the teen waving at the Pokemon. "We'll meet again!"

'Byeeee!' The Pokemon said while waving, leaving for Saffron City as Sabrina got herself ready. "I should be saying my farewell as well."

"Aww~ Brina, you could have stayed for longer?" Erika pouted, making the esper's eye twitched before she ignored the woman and turned to Red. "You know where I'll be."

"Don't ignore me!" Erika yelled.

"Yes, ma'am." Red said as Sabrina flew in the air and went to Saffron City.

"That was quite the journey." Leaf said with her hands on her hips before she turned and pointed at Erika who cocked her head to the side. "Well, that leaves for me to kick your butt."

"Alright, I'll be at the gym whenever you're ready, Miss Leaf." Erika bowed, slightly annoying Leaf before the woman returns back to Celadon City. Red looked at Clefairy before they both shared a fist bump with a smile until they saw Kimberley stretching. "Welp time to go and catch some 'z's."

"What do you mean? We're gonna train of course! Cleffy learned this new move…" Leaf said as she dragged her friends towards the route, Red and Kimberley letting out a sigh before they continued with their shenanigans.
