'Come out, come out wherever you are.' Leaf mentally said as she snuck around a corner, adjusting her gun as she takes a peek. Before she could see anything, she immediately hid when she was rewarded with gunshots which made her click her teeth as she searched around for another place to hide. "Damn, seriously. I almost got punched full of holes."
Suddenly, a bullet went past the side of her head which made the girl stumble and fall down before she made a run for it.
'Don't get hit! Don't get hit! Don't get hit!' She repeatedly thought as she ducked underneath the barrage of bullets coming at her while reloading her gun. Dashing past a few barrels and going around a corner, she came across Kimberley, the two shared a glance before they raised their guns at each other.
"Surrender, Leaf. And I'll make it painless for you."
"I can't, Kim. I have something to do. Just put hands over your head and drop the weapon!"
"I can't do that, Leaf."
The two girls circled each other, Leaf's brow started sweating while Kim tried her best not to take her eyes off her opponent. Suddenly, they were both shot, the two girls groaning in an annoyed manner when they saw Red coming to them with his gun over his shoulders. "That was a nice match! That felt good!"
"Darn it! We got beaten again! One more time!" Leaf said with a competitive aura, Kim sighing as she went for a bottle of water. "Well, let's just take a break. I'm too tired for thiis."
"Whew! That was a nice workout. But I still want another match!" Leaf sat down by the benches before she noticed Red drinking a water bottle, her cheeks turning pink upon seeing his ponytail and mole. She then smiled, wrapping her arms around Red's shoulders and give him a peck on the cheek. "Oh God, how can you manage to switch from cute to sexy in under a second?"
Before she could continue, she felt someone pulling her ear and dragging her away from the boy, much to her annoyance. "Owowowowow...what's that for, Kim? I almost got to home base. Home base!"
"Yeah yeah. Get a room and do that. Also, didn't you promise me that you'll come home with me today and help me with my Papa." Kim said, putting her hands on her hips with a twitching eye.
"I was having so much fun, I kinda forgot." Leaf scratched her head, much to Kim's annoyance before they both started arguing. Red simply watched in silence, adjusting his headgear and gun before Vulpix hopped on his lap. 'Should we stop them?'
"They're not killing each other so it's good." Red said while reading his Pokedex and checking on Dusclops' information. After their break, they went for another match at Leaf's request which resulted in Red's victory over them within in a couple minutes, Kim punching the air while mumbling angrily. "I almost got him...I was so close..."
"Red, take it easy. You're too much." Leaf panted heavily as she sat down and drank a can of soda. "Man, I love the games in this place. We gotta play laser tag next tomorrow."
Red was in deep thought when he saw a news article about gang activity that happened until he felt a tap on his shoulder which made a smile come across his face.
"Sup, Eric!" Red did a fist bump with Eric who also greeted Leaf before Kim leaned on his back. "Sup?"
"Hey, Kim. How's it going?" Eric turned to Kim, Leaf surprised when she saw the both of them having a nice conversation before she tapped Kim's shoulder. "How?"
"I met him the other day and guess what: he's also Celadonian." Kim smiled as Eric scratched his head which made Red raise a brow. "I beg your pardon?"
"Yeah. I live here...for now. But enough about that, you guys look like you're having a lot of fun. Can I join?" Eric said as he paid the clerk, getting his paintball equipment before everyone got ready for the next match, Kim gathering everyone to her team and whispering to them, much to Eric's surprise. "Seriously? Don't you think it's unfair?"
"When you see how he plays? You're gonna have a different opinion." Kim folded her arms as they prepared themselves, Red let out a small chuckle as he noticed the competitive aura emanating from Leaf and Kim. 'Well, they're not gonna go easy on me.'
"Oooooook. Give me your best shot, Red!" Eric said as he got his gun ready, Red grinned as he hunched back as they waited for the match to start. Eric aimed his gun at Red before he noticed the teen is nowhere to be found. "What the?"
He looked around before Kim grabbed him and Leaf and went behind a bunch of barrels, Eric confused by her attitude until he received his answer in the form of a rain of bullets banging on the barrels that they took refuge. Kim then spun around and aimed the gun in the direction to shoot but she was surprised when she saw no one before she decided to search the place.
"Guys, we need to-" She got hit by a paint pellet, everyone's faces wore poker faces in silence before they slowly and robotically turned to Red who is above a pile of boxes.
"It's hiiiiiiigh noon~"
"What the? What are you? Goldeneye?" Eric laughed as he picked up is gun but was stopped when he got shot in the chest, Leaf shot her gun quickly which resulted in the two hitting each other. "Match!"
"Yes! The chestnut detective wins again!" Leaf jumped in victory, Red tapping her on the shoulder and pointing at the splat that his bullet made on her vest. She then rubbed it away before running outside and announcing her victory, much to the silent teen's surprise. After their match, Red heard his Pokegear ringing which he looked at, realizing the time as he got himself ready. "I gotta go. I have archery practice right now."
The group watched as Red left, letting out a disappointed sigh before he stretched. "Man, I wish I could battle him."
"Well, he's busy these days. Hey! How about we have a battle? I've been training a lot and I need to know how strong I am." Leaf suggested, an excited look on her face as she picked up her bag.
"Without beating me up like I'm some NPC." Kim added while checking her Pokegear which made her receive a slap on her hand from Leaf. Eric thought about it before he nodded, a grin on his face. "Sure, I'm game! Let's go for it!"
The two then arrived on a battlefield, determined expressions on their faces as they took out their Pokeballs. Leaf was about to throw out her Pokemon when one of her Pokeballs opened, releasing Torchic who jumping in the air excitedly. Seeing the Pokemon about to attack, Leaf panicly ran towards it and grabbed it before she took it back to her side of the field. "Woah, Torchic! I know you're raring to go but I need you to take a backseat, alright?"
Torchic tried its best to argue but it gave up when Leaf gave it a Poffin before she threw her Pokeball into the air. "Cleffy, take the stage!"
Cleffy was released, a smile on its face as it flew into the air before landing to the ground, the Pokemon surprised as Eric called out Sandslash.
"Poison Jab!" Eric commanded, Sandslash sprinted towards Cleffy who quickly stopped it midair with a powerful Disarming Voice. The pink fairy then used Magical Leaf that battered and sent the pangolin back onto the ground.
"Sandslash, are you ok?" Eric asked worriedly, his Sandslash getting up and nodding at him which made him grin. "Nice! Gyro Ball!"
The Ground type immediately rolled into a ball and sped towards Cleffy, Leaf smile as she waited for it to come closer.
"Charge Beam on the ground!" Clefairy's hands lit with electricity before it shot at the ground, protruding the rocks off the ground which sent the pangolin into the air.
"Woah, nice move!" Eric complemented as he made Sandslash use Curse, the Pokemon uncurling before unleashing a dark red aura.
"Thank you, sir. Cleffy!" Leaf bowed, her Clefairy fired another lightning blast that hit the Ground type. Witnessing his Pokemon being immune to the attack, Eric raised an eyebrow before he noticed a mischievous grin on his opponent's face. "Sorry, I made a mistake."
"Knowing who you are usually around, you wouldn't use that without a reason. And honestly, I don't want to find out. Poison Jab!" Eric commented, Sandslash lunging towards Clefairy before it stopped by its opponent's Magical Leaf. Slashing the leaves to shreds, Ground-type used Bulldoze which made a rock emerge from the ground and hit Cleffy in the face until it hit it with a Poison Jab.
"Cleffy!" Leaf yelled, Cleffy getting before it started to cry, much to Eric and Sandslash's confusion.
"What's happening?" He said, his Sandslash slightly taken aback and about to pat the pink fairy. No one saw the grin on Cleffy's face before it launched a Magical Leaf at Sandslash that battered the pangolin until it fainted.
"Seriously?! That Clefairy is strong!" Eric said in surprise as he returned his Pokemon, Leaf letting out a smile as her Clefairy retreated beside her with a proud look on its face. "Not really, I got a boost thanks to Charge Beam."
"Wait, what?" Eric said in surprise before his eyes widened, putting a hand on his head. "That explains why your attack packed so much of a punch! I feel so stupid."
"Don't worry, it " Leaf smiled before she patted her Pokemon, her smile getting bigger as something went to her mind. 'So he was right?'
A bolt of lightning flew into the air before it descended, creating an explosion when it hit the ground. As the smoke cleared, Leaf coughed as both her and Kim see Red's Luxio's claws brimming with lightning as it made a swing, creating a wave of electricity that slashed the trees and stones in front of it. Seeing the attack, the brunette got excited as she turned to her Clefairy, taking out a CD from her bag. "This is gonna be an awesome TM! Charge Beam can improve the power of special attacks when it hits!"
"Who said it needs to hit for you to get stronger?" Red raised a brow which made Leaf eyes widened. "What?"
"Porygon, Charge Beam." Red smiled as the Pokemon came out of his Pokegear before it shot the move multiple times, the move getting stronger each time, much to the girls' surprise.
"Red, are you some kind of mad scientist?" Kim asked to which he shrugged before Leaf spoke. "I've been meaning to ask: How do you know about all this?"
"Think about it like this. An attack doesn't have to be used just like how it is in the League's files in order to get results like it's some videogame. In everyday wildlife, Pokemon has to use these along with their abilities for survival. There is no bad move in that kind of life. Just a bad way of using it." Red explained as Porygon went back into his Pokegear before he supported his Poli who is trying to use its arms with a melancholic expression. "We're only using them for battles and view them as only tools. We will never know of their full potential if we look at them like that. Well, that's my theory."
Leaf and Eric took out their next Pokeball, throwing them onto the field when Kim made the signal.
"Murkrow, come out!"
"Swablu, it's your time!"
As both Pokemon were released, Murkrow immediately fired a Dark Pulse that collided with Swablu's Dragon Pulse, creating an explosion. The two birds battled in the sky before Murkrow fired another Dark Pulse that sent Swablu into the clouds. The two could not get to continue when they saw the blue cotton bird took a nosedive, tackling the black bird before it shot a Dragon Pulse that rocketed the crow to the ground.
"Woah! Murkrow, you can take that! Drill Peck!" Murkrow took flight and stabbed Swablu in the stomach which got a cry from the Pokemon.
"Hyper Voice!" Leaf commanded, her Pokemon unleashing a sound blast that pushed its opponent back. Immediately recovering, Murkrow started to let out a dark aura as it sped towards Swablu.
'That's Assurance!' Leaf noticed before she made her Pokemon dodge the move with a barrel roll, much to Eric's surprise. "Woah!"
"You like that? Then you're gonna love this. Dragon Beak!" The brunette made his command, her Torchic excited as it tried its best to fly into the air. Swablu immediately darted upwards, purple flames oozing from its beak and coating its body as it got faster.
"Murkrow! We can't let that hit us! Drill Peck and use Dark Pulse!" Murkrow took a dive towards Swablu, using Dark Pulse to increase its speed. As the two collided into each other, the flames making Swablu bigger, to the point where its wings begun to become more draconic and its beak has gotten longer.
'It almost looks like Altaria.' Eric thought as the two Pokemon battled in the sky, Swablu slowly starting to overpower the black crow until Eric voiced his move. "Assurance!"
Murkrow unleashed a dark aura before it tackled Swablu in the gut, knocking the wind out of the blue bird.
"Swablu!"
"Nice job, Murkrow! Keep up the good work!"
Everyone in the area watch in awe as two streaks of light flew across the sky and clashed into each other.
"Woah! Look at those Pokemon!"
"Yeah, they're so pretty."
"Is one of them a dragon?"
The people said as the birds flew past them while they violently battled each other until they reach back into the battlefield. Not missing a beat, the two charged into each other, their trainers stood tall against the shockwave until they saw their Pokemon unconscious on the ground. Seeing the result of the match, Eric returned his Murkrow while Leaf picked up Swablu and cradled the bird. "Nice job, Swablu!"
'He's stronger than I remember. If I hadn't trained as much as I did, I would've been two Pokemon down.' She thought, readying her next Pokeball before she saw Eric released Nidoking who quickly got itself in a battle pose.
"Alright, let's go Lop-" She was interrupted when Nida hopped onto the field, a serious expression showing on its face.
"Nida, you want to fight?" Leaf asked, getting her answer when her Pokemon dashed forward with Poison Tail which clashed with Nidoking's Thunder Punch. Overpowering its attacker, the purple Pokemon's immediately lunged forward with its hands glowing, trying to punch Nida who swiftly dodged its attacks, much to Eric's surprise. "Woah!"
"Nida's got one hell of a fighting spirit." Leaf was taken aback then made a command, Nida ignoring her before it slammed its tail onto Nidoking's arm, making it punch the ground. As Nidoking tried to pull out its fist, Nida did not give it the chance by aggressively attacking it before it went under it then smacking it into the air.
"What strength! Ok, let's try again!" Eric said, his Nidoking lunged forward with Thunder Punch, Nida retreating before it nimbly dodged its strikes until it jumped over its opponent's punch.
"Poison Tail!" Leaf voiced her next move, Nida quickly obeyed as it swung its tail across Nidoking's face but it endured and made a counterattack with a Thunder Punch to Nida's stomach that launched it into a tree.
"Nida!" Leaf ran towards Nidorina before it stood up, a grin on its face as it returned back to the battlefield.
"You ok?" Nida nodded before it locked eyes with Nidoking. Before they both could attack, an explosion shook the area that shocked the teenagers until they see a smoke trail in the sky.
"What was that?" Leaf asked before they all went towards the source of the explosion. On their way, they saw a crowd of people gathered on the sidewalk near the restaurant before they approached them. "What just happened? Are you guys ok?"
"Some group stole our Pokemon and up and disappeared! We didn't even see them coming!" One of the people in the group, an old lady said as she held her head in worry as she cradled a young boy in her arms. "They beat up and broke this poor boy's leg. I don't understand why they're so cruel."
"Jeez. One day. Just one day without any hijinks." Kim pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration, turning to Leaf who took out an Azumarill magnifying glass. "This sounds like it's a job for the Chestnut Detective!"
"The who?" Eric lifted a brow before Kim put a hand on his shoulder as they watched the brunette asked around. "Let her do her thing. Trust me, she's oddly good at it."
After several minutes, she came back with some a small notepad and a piece of black cloth. She then turned to Kim with a stern expression as she handed out the cloth. "Kim, take out Nubnubs and let him sniff this. It could lead us to the guys who did this."
Kim let out a sigh as she released a Swinub from her Pokeball and then put the piece of cloth to its nose. "Hey, Nubnubs. We're gonna need your help, ok? Can you use Odor Sleuth please?"
The Pokemon nodded before smelling the cloth. After sniffing the cloth, it ran down the street, Leaf telling the civilians to call the police before she, Kim and Eric followed the brown pig. After several minutes of pursuing the Pokemon, they were able to hear an argument from the distance, Kim quickly grabbing her Swinub before the trio hiding behind a wall when they saw several gang members checking a bag.
"Damn. There's hardly anything of worth here. Seriously, just a bunch of Rattata, Pidgey, a Pidgeotto. The best thing in this is the damn Magnezone and Dragonite." One of the Titan Troupe members glared at the other grunts. Watching them argue with each other, Leaf took out a Pokeball as she turned to Kim and Eric. "Alright, I have a plan to get back that bag but we're gonna need some Pokemon so..."
Nida dashed out and slammed the goons into each other, quickly grabbing the bag and made a run for it, much to Leaf's dismay. "Darn it, Nida! Well, at least she got the bag."
As Leaf took the bag from her Pokemon, they were attacked by a Machoke which was quickly knocked back by a Poison Tail. "I guess we're doing this."
"Stop right there!"
A voice boomed through the street, everyone turning to see a blue haired, buff man with his arms crossed, what caught everyone's attention was the Chansey mask he was wearing. A Blissey then appeared beside the man, glaring at the goons with an intense flame coming from its eyes before it cracked its knuckles.
"A Blissey?" Leaf and Eric said in unison, the hairs on their back straightening when its smile changed into a frown.
"Blissey, Tri Attack!" Blissey nodded as it raised its hands and charged a glowing orb surrounded by electricity, chunks of ice and rings of flame before launching it towards the gang which froze them solid.
"Woah!" The trio watched in awe as Blissey punched the block of ice, releasing the unconscious goons onto the ground. Leaf and Eric shuddered at the strength of the Pokemon before they notice the embarrassed expression on Kimberley's face as she glared at the man who gave the grunts to the police. "Kim, are you ok?"
"Y-yeah, let's get out of-"
"Kimmy!" Leaf and Eric turned at the sound of the voice while Kim hid her face in her turtleneck and groaned loudly. "I wanna roll up into a ball and disappear..."
She was enveloped in a hug, the girl blushing furiously when she heard snaps, seeing Leaf who was taking pictures of her with a teasing grin on her face. The masked man then turned to the group before he bellowed with laughter, his Blissey mimicking him until Kim grabbed the man by his ear. "Papa! Can you stop with the heroics? I'm hungry."
"Your wha?" Leaf said before Kim took the mask off the man's face which made the brunette's eyes widened. "Ooooooooh. Hey there, Mr. Matthews."
"Oh! Is that little Leaf? Someone has grown up a lot! You were so small the last time I saw you." Mr. Matthews smiled, tapping Leaf on her head which got a smile from her until they heard Nolan scream. "No way! Kim! Your dad's the famous wrestler Lucky Punch?!"
He got his answer when Kim nodded which made him scratch his head and let out a nervous chuckle. "Jeez. Is Red the only one with no important family members?"
"Who knows? His mom could be an Elite Four member." Kimberley shrugged before her father hugged her, the girl had a poker face when she saw Leaf taking out her Pokegear, turning to her Swinub and pointed it towards him. "Blow some ice on him."
Swinub shot a gust of wind at the man which made him fall, Kim then turning to her friends with a huge smile. "Well, I want to thank you for being friends with my daughter and for helping me with those goons."
'We didn't do much tho.' Leaf and Eric thought in unison, Kim letting out a sigh before she went down the street. "Nevermind that. Papa, is Mama home?"
"She should be chilling today." Mr. Matthews stated until he noticed the serious expression on Nida's face along with Eric's Sandslash. "Wow! Your Pokemon looks plenty strong! You guys have been training them well."
Leaf's smile faded as she heard that, looking at the Pokemon who had a serious expression as they made their way to Kim's house. Reaching the house, the man gestured them to the back of the house to a huge backyard which surprised Eric, the man telling them to sit down as he and Kim went into the house.
"Wow! This is a huge backyard." Eric looked around the place, his Sandslash came out of its capsule and looked around the place.
"Right? It was like a jungle when I first came here years ago." Leaf said as she leaned back on her seat, her Swablu coming out of its ball and landing on her lap. They then heard the door open, seeing a blue haired woman whose hair is tied into a ponytail that reached her back, a smile on her face as she provided them with some drinks and food on the table.
"Leaf! Look at how much you grew up!" The woman said as she hugged Leaf who let out a chuckle. "Thanks Ms. Matthews. Sorry I haven't visited in a while."
"Knowing that father of yours, I'm surprised that you even went on a journey." Mr. Matthews came out of the house followed by a quiet Kim before they all sat around the table and ate lunch. While they were eating, he noticed the brooding expression on Nida's face. "Little Leaf, is your Pokemon alright? She looks like she's waiting for bat signal in the sky or something."
"I honestly don't know. Since her loss against Erika, she was bummed out and has been training super hard." Leaf tried to pet Nida but it pulled its head back and then went to the corner of the yard, much to Mr. Matthews' concern.
"Why don't we have a battle? To loosen up the stress for both of ya!" He proposed, his Blissey patting itself as it got up. Leaf scratched her head before she noticed Nida glaring at the pink Pokemon, Kim and her mother sighing. "Here we go..."
"I guess your Pokemon's up for the challenge, little Leaf."
"Alright, let's go." Leaf smiled, Kim and her mother moving the table as the brunette and Mr. Matthews faced each other as Kim decided to be the rederee. "For the sake of Leaf's sanity, I'm making this a one-on-one. Now get your Pokemon ready and start!"
"Don't hold back on me right now!" Mr. Matthews said as his Blissey braced itself, the man then patting his chest. "Show me what you got!"
"With pleasure. Poison Tail!" Leaf commanded, Nida sprinted forward and attacked with a Poison Tail that pushed Blissey back, much to everyone's surprise.
"Woah! Your Pokemon packs a punch!" Mr. Matthews laughed as his Blissey dusted itself.
"Thanks! Rock Smash!" Nida's arms glowed as it lunged towards Blissey who immediately raised its arms to block its attacks before it used Tri Attack. Nidorina could not get the chance to dodge when it was hit by the elemental orb, the Poison-type holding its ground against the attack, Leaf quickly voiced her move. "Use Chip Away to knock it away!"
Nida gritted her teeth as she plunged its hind legs into the ground, pushing against the attack before it sent it into the air, much to everyone's surprise.
"Man, she would've given Nidoking a run for his money." Eric commented when he saw both Pokemon tackled into each other before Blissey lifted two boulders and threw them towards Nidorina who quickly broke them with Rock Smash. Dodging a few more Tri Attack, the Pokemon then took a breath and dashed forward as Leaf made a command.
"Spin and Poison Tail!" Nida curled itself in a ball and crashed into Blissey who stopped the attack, Mr. Matthews folded his arms with a smile. "Good technique! Now Strength!"
Glowing with energy, the pink Pokemon then punched Nida, knocking it back but it quickly recovered on its feet. Seeing its pink opponent going for another strike, the Poison type stood still. "Alright, Chip Away! Full power!"
"I will respond in kind. Focus Punch!"
Blissey closed its eyes and raised its hand that became enveloped by a blue aura while Nida lowered its head and started to brace itself. As both Pokemon took their positions, Nida's body started to let out a crimson glow which confused everyone.
"What's happening?" Leaf wondered as she took out her Pokedex, her eyes widened. As Blissey went forward with Focus Punch, Nida dashed forward with its body covered in a blue aura, much to Leaf's surprise. "That's Skull Bash."
The two then made a clash, creating a strong shockwave that nearly blew Leaf back, much to her surprise. 'Was Nida this strong? We have been training a lot but this…this is just…'
The two combatants were then pushed back by the collision, both Pokemon sharing determined expressions on their faces as they waited for their trainers' next command.
"Good!"
"T-thank you." Leaf snapped out of her thoughts, focusing back on the fight. After a while, the two Pokemon braced themselves and were about to attack until an explosion that shook the area, surprising everyone as Kim got up and took her Pokeball with an annoyed groan. "I'll look for them."
Eric let out a slight chuckle as he followed the blue-haired girl. "I'll follow. So that you won't have to blow a fuse."
"Yeah. Got-" Kim was cut off by a blast that sent her, her mother and Eric into a wall, Mr. Matthews immediately running towards them until another blast hit him. Leaf could barely be able to voice a command when she and Nida were shot by a water bullet that knocked the wind out of her.
"Well I guess the whole gang is here." They turned to see a Titan Troupe grunt coming out of the house holding an apple in his hand with a Golduck beside him. "Now."
He grinned as he commanded his Golduck to levitate everyone into the air. The grunt took a bite out of the apple as his Pokemon decided to levitate Kim's parents and Blissey further, the man caught off guard when something fell on his Pokemon, making everyone fall to the ground, Blissey able to catch everyone from the air. The grunt was about to attack again but was stopped by a wave of ice, Kim facing him. "Hah! What's a babe like you gonna do?"
"Hope you like brain freeze!" Kim smirked, her Swinub launched a wave of ice that clashed with Golduck's Water Pulse. Witnessing the collision, the grunt let out a grin when he saw his attack winning until he felt the earth shake, cracks forming underneath him and his Pokemon which made the water seep through them. "What the?"
"Like I said. Hope you like brain freeze." Kim snapped her fingers, her Swinub freezing the water underneath them, making them stuck in one place. As the blue duck tried to break out, Swinub immediately charged into it with a Take Down which broke the ice and knocked it into his trainer, the two now unconscious. Blissey then decided to use Softboiled to heal everyone, Leaf wiping her bleeding forehead before she grabbed Kevin by his collar. "Hey! What the hell is going on?"
"Don't-" He was cut off by a punch from Leaf before she shook him. "Wrong answer. I'll repeat again a little slower. What. Are. You. Doing. Here?"
"Well, I just happened to bebebe-" He was shocked with a taser from Leaf, an annoyed look on her face as she tied him up. "One. Last. Chance."
"Ok. O-ok. I-I'm sorry. I-I'm an admin of t-the T-Titan Troop gang. I was here to beat you guys and b-buy time." Kevin coughed as his body started twitching before he saw the brunette crouched down to him, playing with the taser which was letting out small bursts of electricity. "Anything else?"
"Yeah. Surprise!" A Weavile suddenly came out of the house and lunged at them but was knocked out by one hit from Nida. The brunette then took out another taser, a small smile on her face. "Attacking an officer is punishable by law, you know."
Leaf just turned on the taser which made the Titan member's face turned pale. "H-hey, I-I'll tell you everything. NOOO!"
After a few minutes, everyone stood over the grunt who was now covered in scratches and his body twitching, some of them feeling a ping of pity for the man. 'Wow. She did not hold back.'
"Did you have to use my Purugly on him?" Kim groaned as her mother went into the house and called the police. As they waited for the police, they heard a bunch of explosions until a bunch of Titan troop grunts came to their backyard with sneers on their faces when they saw Leaf. "Ain't that the girl who's around the guy Dread wants?"
"Hell yeah. And look at those Pokemon. We're gonna make a killing if we sell those."
"Hey bitches and bastards! You're all coming with us so sit down if you know what's good for ya!"
Leaf had a devilish smirk on her face when she took out two batons out of her bag. "Ah! I needed more information."
'More like you wanted an outlet.' Eric and Lucky Punch both thought in unison as they saw the two girls mercilessly took out the group. Mrs. Matthews walked out to see a few more Titan troops now on the ground, some of them frozen solid which made her sigh as she went into the house. "There is more now. Why are so much of these Titan grunts here now?"
"Beats me! They just wanted to wreak havoc." Leaf explained after knocking out a grunt, another explosion shook the place, a ball falling unto the backyard. Leaf's face paled when she saw the ball, turning to everyone. "It's a bomb! Get away and duck!"
The ball exploded as the group ran away, Leaf feeling a sharp pain in her back as she went to the ground. The explosion took part of the house, Swinub, Sandslash and Blissey punched the ground to create a wall of dirt to shield everyone. After the explosion subsided, everyone got up, Kim's eyes widened when she saw her entire backyard destroyed along with part of her house, the girl standing in front of her burning home.
"Those darn lunatics! Why?" Mr. Matthews said as he turned to the street, seeing firemen using their Water-type Pokemon to douse the flames. "Why would they go this far?"
Suddenly, vines came out of the ground and grabbed both of Kim's parents into the air, Blissey about to help them before it was hit with a green smoke that put it to sleep. "Lucky!"
"Oh, crap. Where di-" Leaf, Eric and Kim tried to move only to be stuck in place, the teens turning to their Pokemon to also see them frozen in place. They then heard laughter, seeing a huge burly man dressed in a grey tank top, camo pants with curly blonde hair approaching them, a huge grin on his face as he put his foot on Nida's head. "Nida!"
"Heh! Look at all of you! Sitting here like Psyducks on Route 210!" The man smirked, Angel coming beside him with a questioning glare. "You're so dumb, Savage. Isn't Route 210 in Sinnoh? And why Route 210? And why would Psyducks be there?"
"I dunno. They could be waiting for some medicine that a kid would get from a blonde champion." Savage slightly blushed before he folded his arms, getting a stare from his female companion. "That is…oddly specific."
During their argument, Leaf looked around the place until she saw something moving in the ground, her eyes widened until she sees the smirk on Eric's face. "Bulldoze!"
Before the two could notice what was happening, the ground started to crack, glows between them before the two sink into the floor. Angel thought quickly, sending out her Sylveon on Kim's roof who immediately grabbed both of the admins and pulled them out, Leaf making her move by letting Swablu use Hyper Voice. Sylveon got hit by the move, making it difficult for the fairy to be able to hold onto the two admins which did not go unnoticed by Savage who quickly grabbed the ribbon and Angel. "What do you think you're doing?"
"We're going up." Savage leaped into the air and landed in front of the teens, a grin on his face as he dropped Angel. "Time to clean up the mess."
Leaf regained the feeling in her body as she quickly took out her two batons and blocked Savage's punch, pressing a button which shocked the man. Having a huge smile on his face, the admin knocked Leaf out of the way. "Out of the way, smucks!"
Leaf quickly recovered and diverted a punch, the girl overwhelmed by the force of his strikes. She immediately switched to the offensive, landing several swift blows that managed to push him back before she smacked him across the head with her baton. "Got'em!"
Savage then smiled before he crouched to Leaf's level. "You think that did anything?"
Leaf quickly went for a jab which failed when the man grabbed her arm, the girl resorting to kicks before she received a punch to the stomach then thrown into a wall, the girl falling to the ground and clutching her stomach. "Damn! That hurt."
"Hehe..." Savage laughed as he towered over her, lifting his foot in the air until he was tackled into a wall by Eric, the two fighting with each other until the older man flipped Eric onto his back. During this, Kim was battling against Angel, the woman being overwhelmed by the girl's Delcatty before she resorted to using Rock Smash.
"Double Team!" Kim commanded, her Delcatty created the mirages. As Sylveon lashed out against the illusions, Swinub froze the places that the tendrils in place before Delcatty shot a Charge Beam at it then hitting it multiple times with Wake-Up Slap and then knocked down by a Poison Tail from Nida.
"Fuck! Savage! A little help!" She said as she tried to send out another Pokemon but was stopped by an Ice Beam that froze her hand. Savage grunted as he threw his Pokeball into the air, a Machamp crashing into the ground before it dashed towards Kim's direction, knocking out her Swinub and Delcatty before it turned to her.
"What the?" Kim said as Machamp sprinted towards her with its fists turning to iron but it was stopped by Lopunny who grabbed its upper arms with its ears. Before the Fighting-type could land a punch, the rabbit's ears started to crackle with electricity until it electrocuted its four-armed opponent. Machamp tried using its lower arms to attack but Lopunny caught them with her hands as the two pushed against each other which the rabbit was starting to lose. "Crush her, Machamp!"
"Use your feet! Jump Kick!" Lopunny quickly hopped into the air and battered Machamp's stomach with multiple kicks, the Fighting-type smirked as it endured the strikes. During this, Kim noticed the expression on the Superpower Pokemon's face before she let out Mothim and Mawile, the two using Psybeam and Fairy Wind that hit Machamp, causing Lopunny able to escape its clutches. Sylveon tried to attack the group with a Moonblast but was stopped when Nida grabbed one of its feelers and threw into Machamp, making its attack explode upon impact.
"Did we do it?" Leaf asked, immediately getting her answer in the form of a shockwave, Machamp emerging without a single scratch on its body which made their eyes widen in disbelief. Machamp's body started to release a dark glow before it dashed towards them, Mothim hitting it repeatedly with Psybeam but it pulled through and knocked the Pokemon back with Darkest Lariat. Lopunny lunged forward and was about to attack with a Thunder Punch until it was hit by a fireball, everyone seeing Sylveon who walked beside Machamp.
"I hate muscle-heads." Angel said in disgust when she looked at the brawl between Leaf and Savage before she snapped her fingers, her Sylveon unleashed a barrage of Mystical Fire that was a stone wall, Kim turning to see Nidoking and Eric. "I wish I was fighting that red-capped cutie."
"I wish I was fighting someone strong." Savage said as he threw Leaf into a wall, rubbing the blood from his cheek. "This girl's got guts and skill but she's weak!"
"You want strength..." Leaf gritted her teeth as she got up, taking from her bag as she sprinted at Savage. She threw one of the capsules which the man dodged before she reeled her fist and swung with all her might, landing a strong blow to the man's stomach. "...here's your strength. On the house."
Falling to the ground, Leaf landed a spin kick which sent the man back a few meters before she noticed Machamp coming towards her, much to her surprise as she turned around. Suddenly, a bunch of strings went around it and held it down to the ground, Leaf not wasting any time when she commanded her Lopunny land a barrage of strikes until it was hit by a Moonblast. Angel tried to make her move until her Pokemon had to dodge a few more webs, the woman seeing a Galvantula above her. "What the? Doll?"
Sylveon was about to charge another until it was hit by a Sludge Bomb from Nidoking before it threw the fairy into Machamp, the strings holding the Fighting starting to burst with electricity which hurt the two. The three teenagers gathered together and was about to discuss their next move until Savage got up, laughing as he gave a crazed glare at Leaf. "That's what I'm talking about! Again, again!"
The man dashed towards the teens, grabbing Kim and Eric and slamming their heads to the ground before he ruthlessly attacked Leaf, the girl resorting to blocking his attacks before she received a hard punch to the stomach before the man brutally pummeled her face. Eric quickly got up but could not get to do anything when his Galvantula fell on him, the teen in shock when he saw Sylveon and Machamp out of the strings with light bruises on them.
"Seriously, you gotta have to try harder than that if you want to fight me." Angel smiled triumphantly as her Pokemon went towards its downed opponents, preparing a Moonblast until it was hit by a huge wave of ice. Kim got up, her face dirty and bloodied as she made her Swinub hit the two Pokemon with a Bulldoze to stop them from moving, taking out her Purugly as she pointed at her Machamp. "Fake Out..."
"Machamp, keep 'em busy!" Savage nonchalantly said as he continued pummeling Leaf until the girl grabbed his arm, the man feeling an intense pain in his crotch before Leaf pushed him off and slammed her baton on him repeatedly. The man tried to get up but was introduced to kick to the face as she continued smacking him with her batons before she twisted his arm. "Nida, Skull Bash at Machamp! Lopunny, Thunder Punch at Sylveon!"
Machamp and Nidoking traded blows until the Fighting-type launched a barrage of punches at the purple beast before slamming it to the ground only to be stopped by an Ice Beam from Swinub. As Machamp was about to attack Swinub, it received a Skull Bash from Nida, knocking the Fighting type back a little before it retaliated with a punch that sent Nida through a wall.
"Nida!" Leaf yelled and ran to her Pokemon, the girl unaware of Machamp behind her whose fists were glowing, about to attack her before Nidoking grabbed onto its foot, shooting a Sludge Bomb to its face. Barely flinching from the move, Machamp glared at the Poison-type as it grabbed Nidoking by the throat and then started punching it in the face causing its mouth and nose to bleed.
"Nidoking, stop it with Sludge Bomb!" Eric quickly panicked, his Nidoking shot a barrage of sludge bullets that barely affected the Superpower Pokemon who started to crush Nidoking in a bear hug. As it was about to use its upper arms to punch the purple beast, Nida and Lopunny hit it from behind but it did nothing as the four-armed fighter flung Nidoking into them before knocking them into a wall with Bullet Punch.
"Nida, point your spikes towards it!" Leaf shouted before she was hit by Savage, the girl angered as she used the momentum to flip the man over her back and slam him onto the floor.
"I!" She punched him once, the man rolling over and getting up but she smacked him on his shin with her baton that made him fall on his back.
"Am getting!" She followed with several more strikes, receiving a kick to the face but she grabbed his leg and flung him into the wall. Savage laughed as he got up and dashed towards the girl. "This is what I'm talking about. This is a fight-"
He was cut off by a kick to the face which knocked him back before he smiled as he charged at her, resulting in the both of them colliding with a headbutt. "So you do have some guts, girl! This is what I'm talking about!"
"Shut the fuck up!" Leaf swung her foot with all her might and kicked Savage in the stomach, lifting him off the ground and then landing a punch that sent him on his back. The brunette then dashed towards Kim's parents with a Pokeball out but was stopped by a wall of fire, her Watortle able to douse the flames before it used Protect to shield itself from a Moonblast.
"Not so fast!" Leaf turned to see Angel and Sylveon approaching her, about to attack but she was stopped by a wave of ice that froze the fairy. "Go Leaf! Purugly, follow her!"
Purugly nodded as it dashed forward in a burst of speed. Sylveon did not falter as it melted the ice and lashed its feelers at the brunette which Kim noticed.
"Not on my watch! Stop them! Bulldoze and Ice Beam!" Kim commanded her Pokemon, Swinub using Bulldoze which erupted rocks along with Ice Beam to turn the stones into icicle spikes that stabbed some of the feelers, making Sylveon cry in pain while it tried to retreat its bloodied tendrils.
"Damn you girl!" Angel turned to Kim in anger as Sylveon launched a Moonblast at her, Swinub jumped in the way of the blast that sent it flying into a wall.
"Nubnubs!" Kim said before she was slapped by a tendril that sent her on the wall beside her Swinub, the girl turning to see her Pokemon covered in bruises. "Nubnubs..."
"Too bad. Time to die." Angel smirked as her Sylveon retreated its feelers and resorted to using Mystical Fire. Hearing its trainer's voice, Purugly turned to see its trainer hurt on the floor which made its eyes turned to slit as it turned and lunged at Sylveon, landing a slash that ripped some of its ribbon tendrils before Sylveon shot the fireball at Purugly who was pushed back by the attack. Swinub did not waste time as it launched a wave of ice spike that stabbed Sylveon, giving Purugly the chance to smack the fairy with its tail that sent it back into the spikes.
"Doll! Are you ok?" Angel ran to her Pokemon, seeing it now covered in blood and scratches as she cradled it before returning her Sylveon. During this, Swinub started glowing and getting bigger as Kim looked at the Pokemon with awe, a small smile on her face until she noticed the glare Angel gave her. 'Uh oh..."
"I'm done." The pink-haired woman muttered as she lifted her Pokeball in the air, black lightning surging from the capsule before she pointed it at Kim.
"Die." As she said those words, the capsule opened that launched a blast of black lightning that went towards the blue-haired girl who slowly stood up.
"Nubnubs!" Kim called, her newly evolved Piloswine stopped glowing as it shot a beam of ice that clashed with the blast, creating a shockwave that froze the area. The blast slowly overpowered Piloswine before it sent both it and Kim into the wall, the ghost revealing itself to be Banette. The phantom was about to attack again until it was bitten by Nida and thrown around the place, causing it to scream in pain. Meanwhile, Savage tried to move but was stopped by chokehold by Eric who noticed Machamp running to him despite his Nidoking and Galvantula holding it down.
"Lairon! Hold it down!" He released Lairon whose body turned to steel as it charged against Machamp, stopping its rampage. Enraged by being slowed down, the Fighting-type lashed out by landing a heavy blow on Lairon, Eric heard an unpleasant sound before he noticed a huge, cracked hole on his Lairon's face as the Pokemon slumped on the ground. "Lairon!"
Savage smirked as he grabbed Eric and slammed him onto the ground before stomped on his neck to choke him. "Fucking bastard! You think that could take me down. Machamp, enough playing around!"
Machamp smirked, veins appearing on its body as it crouched down, heat emitting from its muscles before its eyes set on Leaf which Eric noticed. "Galvantula, trap them with Electroweb!"
Galvantula shot a barrage of webs that knocked away Savage from Eric and stopped Machamp, the Pokemon quickly ripping from the threads until it was stopped in its tracks by an Ice Beam from Piloswine. Machamp tried to get out of the ice but was stopped when Nidoking grabbed it from behind, shooting it from behind with Sludge Bomb. Leaf quickly commanded her Nida to throw the ghost towards Machamp before she took out Zori who used Extrasensory to make both Machamp and Banette flinch, much to Angel's surprise as she retreated in horror. "What the? Stop it, Banette! What are you doing?"
Galvantula quickly wrapped both Banette and Machamp in the lightning thread, electrocuting both of them as everyone made their move.
"Sludge Bomb and Earth Power, Nidoking! Galvantula, Energy Ball and don't hold back!"
"Ice Beam and Bulldoze, Nubnubs!"
"Skull Bash, Nida! Lopunny, Jump Kick! Zori, Extrasensory!"
Machamp tried to rip out of the Electroweb, it received a headbutt to the gut that sent it flying, Galvantula pulling it back into Lopunny who hopped into the air and landed a drop kick that that knocked the two Pokemon into the ground. As it tried to get up, everyone used their respective attacks at the two Pokemon, the result being a powerful explosion that generated from the shockwave felt by the people in the area. The three teenagers watched the smoke, keeping on their guard until their eyes widened in horror. There were their opponents, Machamp emerging from the smoke as it ripped out of the Electroweb.
"N-not even a single scratch."
"How? Wha?" Leaf noticed Banette being missing, the Pokemon weakly crawling towards Angel with its body covered in bruises.
"You messed up." Everyone heard what Savage said until they noticed Machamp's change in attitude, its muscles covered in veins as it looked at them with red eyes, Leaf noticing that ability much too well. "Guts…"
Before they could do anything, Machamp clapped its hands, creating a shockwave that knocked everyone back, the three teens barely able to hold their footing. Leaf quickly got back to her feet only to be surprised when she saw all of their Pokemon knocked out onto the ground, Machamp stomping on Lopunny's chest which made the rabbit let out a whimper of pain.
"Oh no..." She said in disbelief before she quickly returned her Pokemon, the girl then noticed Nida charging towards Machamp and delivering a strong Poison Tail. The Fighting-type did not waver as it grabbed the Poison-type by the throat and threw it towards Leaf who barely react before the Pokemon collided into her, sending them through a wall. Eric tried to stop Machamp but was taken out when he was hit by a Shadow Ball before Banette held him up by the neck and slammed him into the ground. Seeing her friends in pain, Kim tried to get up and run over and protect them before she got hit by a blast that knocked her out on the ground, Angel smiling when she saw Kim and Eric unconscious. "And that's three hormonal teenagers down."
Savage walked over to Eric's unconscious body and kicked him, a smile on his face as he turned to Angel who was glaring at Kim before she took out her phone. "Get the truck at this location right now."
"You look pissed. What has your panties in a knot?" Savage said as he sat on Eric's back, smoking a cigarette. Angel let out a sigh and leaned on the wall with her arms folded before she lifted her Pokeball. "She hurt Doll. I can't forgive anyone who does that. I promised myself that no one would ever do that to her again..."
"Huh? I honestly don't care about your little beef history with the grass leader. I'm just disappointed I was not able to get a thrilling fight." The curly-haired blonde grunted in an annoyed tone as he heard his Machamp beside him. "Too bad."
"Ughh…" Leaf opened her eyes, the brunette felt lightheaded as she tried getting up, an intense pain coursing through her arm before she noticed a huge gash along her arm. Clutching her arm, the girl then saw blood dripping on the floor, touching her forehead to see a red liquid on her fingers. "Ow...my head. Felt like it got split open..."
She heard a weak cry beside her, seeing Nida bloodied and wounded as she saw that it was stuck under some rubble. "Nida...Nida!"
As soon as she moved, Leaf felt a sharp pain in her back that caused her to stumble over and fell to the ground. Slowly able to get to her feet, the girl looked around to see herself in Kim's house, a gasp escaped her as she saw multiple people injured outside the window before she heard sirens. A smile nearly went across Leaf's face until she heard a truck, running to the backyard to see Savage picking up Eric and Kim and putting them into a truck with a smirk on his face.
"Oh no! I need to-" Her sentence was cut off when Machamp broke through the wall and grabbed her, the girl trying to struggle before the Pokemon smacked her in the neck, knocking her out. Seeing its trainer's unconscious body being dragged, Nida summoned all the strength in its body to crawl through the rubble until it touched something, the Pokemon feeling a well of energy of power inside it before it stood on its feet.
Nida glowed intensely, the energy from the stone being absorbed into its body as it started getting bigger. Machamp watched in awe as Nidorina got up on its hind legs, spikes growing from its body before it let out a battle cry before it glared at Machamp.
"What's going on with Machamp? He shouldn't be taking this long." Savage raised a brow as he sat on the back of the truck. He was about to get up until he heard a collision, seeing his Machamp flying out of the house, much to the two admins' surprise. "What the hell is going on? Machamp, what are you doing?"
They saw a silhouette emerging from the smoke, showing a Nidoqueen whose hands are glowing, a crazed look in her eyes. Folding his arms with a smile on his face, Savage got up as his Machamp hopped to its feet, its muscles showing veins as it started to sweat.
"I don't have time for this. Marionette, restrain the Nidoqueen." Angel commanded, Banette wrapped its arms around Nidoqueen, the Pokemon trying to pull it off until it opened its mouth, its fangs becoming sharper and turned black before it bit unto the ghost's arm that caused it to retreat its arms in pain. Machamp lunged towards with Bullet Punch that clashed with Nida's Rock Smash, Banette tried again to attack with Shadow Ball that the Poison-type avoided which made it hit Machamp.
"Hey! Tell your Pokemon to watch where it's shooting, Angel!"
"Shut it, Savage! Let's focus on taking down the Nidoqueen."
The two admins faced off against the Pokemon, their Pokemon taken aback by Nida's increase in strength as she took multiple strikes from Machamp then retaliated with a Skull Bash that pushed back the Fighting-type. Seeing Banette dashing towards it, the blue beast smacked it in the face with a Poison Tail before it suffered a strike to the stomach that made it fall to the ground. Nidoqueen tried to get up but was hit by a barrage of punches that made it bounced off the ground before using Darkest Lariat, making it spit out blood before it got thrown into a wall.
"Marionette, Shadow Claw!" Banette roared as it elongated its arms and lashed out, Nidoqueen able to catch its arms then pulling it towards it and using Crunch to rip the doll apart, much to Angel's surprise. "Marionette! Get out of there."
"Machamp, help out!" The Fighting-type landed a punch to Nida's side, making it spit out Banette before it lashed out and used Rock Smash which was stopped by the four-armed monster. Machamp smirked as it took Nidoqueen's arm and broke it, the Pokemon holding its dislocated limb until it cried loudly in pain as it fell to its knees. The Superpower Pokemon smirked as it readied its fist, the appendage turned to steel until it swung its arm.
A sound echoed throughout the area, creating a smoke cloud that covered the entire place, the two admins coughing before the cloud subsided. Savage and Angel's eyes widened in surprise when they saw the smoke subsided and Nidoqueen is unharmed. Blissey was in front of Machamp, holding his arm before it pushed back the Fighting-type, a person putting down Leaf's unconscious body on the ground.
"Nice job, Blissey!" Mr. Matthews made his step on the field, cracking his knuckles and neck as he stood before Savage with a serious expression. Angel tried to get out a Pokemon to attack the man before she was hit by a ball of webs that made her stuck on the floor, Mrs. Matthews walking towards them with a glare on her face. "Don't. You. Dare."
"How are you even here? I thought you were-" Angel was cut off when the woman stepped on her, a sinister smile appearing on Mrs. Matthews' face as she put her hand on the pink-haired female's neck and applied pressure. Angel tried to move to get her Pokeball, her eyes widened when she realize that she was unable to move her arm which was numb. "You were having fun terrorizing my daughter and her friends. That's not how we do around here."
"Damn it! Do I have to do everything around here?" Savage complained before he noticed Mr. Matthews approaching. "Oh! You're coming to me? Didn't you see what I did to that girl over there?"
"Yes. You wanted a fight, right? And I can't beat the hell out of you without coming closer. Which reminds me, Clara." Mrs. Matthews nodded as she snapped her fingers, an Ariados coming out of the truck before its eyes glowed, knocking out all of the Titan Troop members. Machamp was about to attack the woman but was stopped by an unknown force before it was dragged towards Blissey and slammed into the ground.
"Ok, you got my attention." Savage smiled, dashing towards Mr. Matthews and went for a few jabs which the man dodged before he grabbed him by the arm then threw him on his back. Rolling over, the blonde dashed towards his opponent but he was hit by a clothesline that knocked him back but he got back up and swung his fist. Meanwhile, Machamp was relentlessly attacking Blissey with Bullet Punch until Mr. Matthews made a command.
"No restraints."
Blissey's smile turned into a glare as it took a deep breath and started glowing, outstretching its hand to stop Machamp's punch without any issue, lifting it into the air before throwing it into a wall. Savage was caught off guard by this when his arm was twisted behind his back, the blonde feeling pain as he was lifted from the ground as he tried to escape the hold.
The fight continued, Savage slowly being overwhelmed by his blue-haired foe who easily took several punches before enveloping him in a bear hug, Savage trying to get out of the hold but failed when his back started hurting. The blonde tried another attempt to escape but it was too late when Mr. Matthews did a German suplex on him, the man tried to get up only to have Machamp fall on top of him, almost knocking him out. Meanwhile, Angel found herself immobile as she tried to move, Clara smiling as she picked up her daughter, her Ariados carrying Eric to her house. "I wouldn't recommend moving."
"What the fuck did you do to me?" Angel gritted her teeth as she looked up at the woman who smiled at her. "I just gave you a massage that's all. I may have put too much force on your pressure points."
"You motherfucker!" Savage said while getting up from the floor with an enraged look. Hitting Mr. Matthews in the stomach, the admin was about to go for a second strike but missed when his foe went around him and put him in a chokehold before he turned to Machamp.
"Blissey, Tri Attack!" Blissey obeyed as it and Machamp clashed with each other, the pink Pokemon able to lift Machamp before it went for one hand, charging a Tri-Attack that sent the Fighting type into the air.
"How is that Pokemon so strong? It's just a damn Blissey!" Angel said as she saw the Pokemon pummeling Machamp before it froze it into place with Psychic, Mr. Matthews shouting into the air. "Prepare your ultimate attack."
Blissey lifted its hand, its fist glowing with telekinetic energy before it started using Focus Punch, creating a swirling blue energy which transformed into a huge blue fist as its trainer prepared himself as he lifted Savage over his head. "What are you doing?"
"Our ultimate move: Lucky Punch!"
Blissey stomped on the ground, a yell echoing through the area as it struck Machamp hard in the stomach. The impact from the punch created a powerful shockwave, pushing everyone back as Mr. Matthews threw his opponent away, Savage smiling as he was about to gain his footing until he noticed where he was. "Oh no..."
"Don't hold back, Blissey!"
Blissey nodded as it launched Machamp towards Savage, sending them both into Angel before they hit the truck, destroying the vehicle in the process. The man smiled, turning to see his daughter and her friends ok. "Nice job, Blissey! Use Softboiled on Kim and her friends please."
As Blissey nodded and ran towards the teenagers, Mr. Matthews walked towards the destroyed truck with a serious expression, seeing Machamp unconscious. Out of breath, Savage pushed himself from the ground, looking up at Mr. Matthews with a sneer on his face. "What the...that was foul...but I really enjoyed that fight."
"You need to stop talking if you know what's good for you." Mr. Matthews explained, not taking his eyes off the two until he heard sirens in the distance. "But it's all over now. Well, let's get you ov-"
A gunshot echoed through the air, Savage surprised when Mr. Matthews fell on the ground in front of him, the blonde squinted his eyes at Dread who spun the gun in his hand. "What can you dumbasses do without me? Let's go, take'em up."
Several Titan Troop members picked up the two admins and went into a truck, Mr. Matthews tried to get up and chase them before he received a kick to the gut that made him fall to the ground. As he tried to get up again, Dread pointed a gun to his head, a smile on his face as he slowly pulled the trigger. "Putting your nose in other people's businesses will get you killed, old man."
Before he could pull the trigger, he was hit by a blast that knocked the weapon out of his hand, the man saw several police officers which made him click his teeth as he started retreating. The truck then left, the police officers shooting at it which busted one of the tires but they still continued, unaware of someone that they were driving towards.
Blue was crossing the road, his Scizor next to him as he looked at the ground, black circles under his eyes. Noticing the goons coming towards him, he pointed his Scizor towards them before he made a command. "Hyper Beam."
Scizor walked forward and lifted its hands and opened its pincers, a ball charging between its arms.
"Wait! What is that?" One of the Titan Troop members said, Dread looking forward before his eyes widened. "Move now! Turn now!"
Scizor shot a huge orange blast that covered the entire road, destroying part of the street as it made its way towards the truck. Dread could barely get the chance to drift away when the blast destroyed part of the truck, everyone could only watch in awe as the attack split the clouds.
While everyone was celebrating, Leaf slowly woke up, looking around the place until she noticed Blue who put his hands in his pocket, his glare making her uneasy. The brunette then realizing a change in Blue's outfit, seeing him in a high collar black short-sleeved shirt with purple baggy pants. "I don't like how he looks."
He approached Leaf, a sneer on his face before he closed his eyes and sighed. "Where's Red?"
"He's training...right now. I don't know if he's at the gym or at Erika's mansion." Leaf shrugged, much to Blue's annoyance as he turned to Nida who has a cast on her right arm, a smirk on his face. "Well, I guess you can still fight, right?"
"Blue! Don't! Look around! We have injured people here!" She pleaded and gestured to the street, Blue seeing people being treated and healed by the medics, including Kim's father who chuckled as his wife and Blissey tended to his bullet wound. "Hehehe...you know. A bullet doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would."
"Less talking, you need to stay still and focus on healing." Mrs. Matthews held onto her husband's hand as one of the medics dressed his wounds. Blue continued looking around before he smirked and snapped his fingers, Scizor immediately attacked, Leaf could barely get the chance to attack until Nida went in front of her and blocked the attack, surprising everyone.
"Blue! What the hell?" Leaf said as Scizor retreated before dashing forward with an Aerial Ace, its speed surprising everyone when it struck Nidoqueen's stomach.
"Stop Blue!" Leaf said, Nida used Crunch which Scizor dodged, the move surprising her and Blue. The two Pokemon battled each other, Nida being pushed back by Scizor's overwhelming strength and speed as it ignored Leaf's commands. The girl could only watch as her Pokemon was aggressively beaten to its knees until it caught one of the opponent's claws then threw it into a wall. Scizor was barely able to recover and went back its feet, Blue's expression changing from disappointment to slight frustration. "Hyper Beam. Full power."
Everyone started to panic as Scizor assumed position and charged the attack, Leaf could barely move, clicking her teeth before she turned to her Nidoqueen.
"Nida! Stop him with Crunch!" Leaf commanded but was shocked when it smiled and lowered its head, its body getting surrounded with a red aura. "No, Nida! I need you to stop it!"
"Shoot it!"
Scizor then shot the blast at the same moment that Nidoqueen charged forward with Skull Bash. As the two were about to collide, vines came out of the ground that stopped Nida and absorbed the blast, much to Blue's surprise. Blue was about to make Scizor rip through the vines only for the Bug type to be pinned to the ground by the vines.
"Erika…" Blue's eyes twitched as he turned to see Erika with Tangrowth beside her, the woman giving him a look of disappointment on her face. "I'm disappointed in you, Blue. As a member of the Oak family, I thought you will be more understanding to a situation like this."
"Stay out of this." Blue clenched his fists; Leaf noticed that his body is shaking. Erika walked in front of Blue, her firm look not breaking from the young teen. "If it is a battle you want, do it at the right place and time. There are people here. If you continue with this foolishness, I will revoke the right for you to battle me."
Blue scoffed before he returned his Pokemon and walked away in frustration. Leaf then returned her Nidoqueen, the girl looking at the Pokeball with a conflicted expression. After a while, the police was able to rescue all the civilians out of the rubble, thanks to Erika's assistance. Being treated of her wounds, Leaf was taken with the ambulance as the police made an inspection and investigate on the accident, the brunette looking at her Pokeball in worry.
"She...didn't listen to you?!" Red exclaimed until he felt a slight tap on his head from Julia. "Eyes front, kid. Try again with another shot."
"Yeah. It's weird." Leaf said as she watered some of the plants with Erika. "She was acting odd, but after beating that Banette, she just got…"
"Tired of you? Won't give you the time of day?" One of the gym trainers said as she picked up a flower pot, Leaf snapping her fingers on her. "Yeah. Like that."
"Perhaps your Pokemon is too strong. How often do you train her?" Erika asked while she picked up a bag of sunflower seeds, her Sunflora and Bulbasaur spreading their pollen and seeds to the flowers. Thinking about the question, Leaf's eyes widened at the realization. "A lot more than I should."
"Expected." The girls in the gym commented as Red hit a target, the teen pumping his fist in victory before picking up his arrows from the ground. During this, Leaf looked at her Pokeball before Erika asked her a question that was on her mind. "You said that one of the people that attacked you was a girl with pink hair, correct?"
"Yeah. The girl's name is Angel. She was with some guy named Savage or whatever. Dumb name, I know." Hearing this made the Gym Leader's eyes widen before she turned to Leaf. "This Angel girl…does she use an Eevee?"
"No, she uses a Sylveon. In fact, Red's fought her before. Haven't you, sweetie?"
Julia gave Red a teasing smirk that he ignored before she tapped his head as he made a shot, the arrow hitting the outer side of the bullseye. Meanwhile, Erika was in deep thought while she continued gardening. "Now the big question is: what were they doing there? Did they tell you?"
"I got nothing. They didn't budge no matter what I tried." Leaf answered as her Swablu decided to land on her hat and take a rest. After an hour of training, Erika bid Red and Leaf farewell before one of her gym trainers came up to her with a message. "Ms. Erika. This came in for you today. It was from the Draconite Gang."
"Draconite Gang?" This caught Erika off guard as she looked at the letter. She then read it, her face becoming pale after she read the letter before she turned to the girl who gave her the letter. "Who gave you this?"
"Havoc. He left as soon as he gave me the letter, Miss Erika." The girl said which made the gym leader pursed her lips with a conflicted expression on her face as she gripped the letter. "Tony…"
Reading the piece of paper again, Erika's expression changed to worry when she looked at the map of the city. She then turned to Julia who put a hand on her shoulder and nodded at her. "If it's anything busy, I can hold down the gym."
Erika took a deep breath before she made a few calls and prepared herself, changing herself into a black and red kimono before checking her sleeves until she picked up her bow and quiver.
"I'm going to be out for a few days. Also, thank you, Julia!" The gym leader announced to everyone in the gym, Leaf and Red shared a worried and confused expression. Erika bowed to everyone, taking out her Gogoat when she went to the entrance before she hopped on it and left the gym. From further away above the city, a man observed the gym leader with a smile on his face as he spoke into a mic on his shirt, leaving on his Metagross.
'Let the plan now begin.'
Finally finished! Happy New Year. Sorry, guys. Had a lot going on but I did not forget this. Just wasn't able to double read this chapter to get it out. The next chapter will be either later today or possibly tomorrow. Actually no, it's gonna be out later today. This chapter is mostly Leaf-centric and Nida is now evolved and better than ever. Also, Red is now training archery with Erika. Also, things are gearing up from here. Enigma out!
