RED BUSTER
Musutafu Streets- Afternoon
After opening his eyes to meet the blue sky, Ren was lying on the ground and woke up in a back alley. The last thing he remembers was walking out of the Judgement room and being surrounded by a bright light before passing out.
"I guess I'm in the new world the Judgement god was talking about." Ren thought as he was looking around the alley. "Well, no point sitting around here." He thought as he got up on his feet.
As he did, he noticed the black briefcase with the Morphers in it. Ren then picked up the case and saw a letter attached to it that said 'Read me'.
"Weird?" Ren thought taking the letter and opened it up to read what was written on it.
Dear Ren, I hope you are enjoying your new surroundings, and sorry about dropping you in a back alley as this will be the best way for you to enter this world without drawing suspicious of you.
Anyway, I gave you the ability to understand different languages, so you won't have trouble with where you are right now. Also, I left you a few little gifts from the Go-Busters series to help out a little and I think you will love it.
I'll contact you again when you have a new member on your team and provide you with more help.
Best of luck to you.
From the Judgement God.
After reading what was on the letter, it glowed bright as he dropped it from his hands while taking a few steps back and then the letter started to take the shape of a humanoid figure.
"No way! That's..." Ren yelled in disbelief as he knew who that was.
When the light died down, it was revealed to be a humanoid robot with the face of a cheetah on its back, the face of a dashboard, and the handles right behind its head.
It was Cheeda Nick, the Buddy Roid and partner of the Red Buster.
"Cheeda Nick?!" Ren shouted in surprise as he was not expecting that to happen.
Then the lights on his face began to lead up as the Buddy Roid's body started to move.
"Oh, you must be Ren, right?" Nick asked before waving at him. "I'm Cheeda Nick, your personal Buddy Roid. It's nice to meet you." He said with a slight bow.
"How do you know who I am?" Ren asked in curiosity.
"The god told me. He said I was to help you create a new team of Go-Busters and assist you in any way I can." Nick said holding out his hand for a shake. "I look forward to working with you."
Ren in response grabbed his hand and shook it with a smile on his face.
"Likewise partner," Ren said.
"Alright then! So you want me to change into my motorcycle form and give you a lift?!" Nick asked hoping for a yes.
Ren shook his head. "No, not yet. I want to get a good sense of my surroundings first." He said before picking up the briefcase and handing it to Nick who accepted it. "Can you hold this for me?"
"Sure can," Nick said holding the briefcase with both hands. "Also, the god wanted me to give you this." He then handed Ren something.
The boy took it and it was a big fat envelope full of money. Ren looked inside to see it had over 10 million yen inside of it.
"Holy crap..." Ren said in complete shock as he never held this much money in his hand before. "That's a lot of money."
"He figured you would have some money trouble since you were new to this world. So he wanted to give you a little support." Nick said before giving Ren something else. "Also here."
Ren looks to see Nick holding a sported shoulder black and red strap with the Go-Busters Transpod attached.
"Now this will come in handy," Ren said grabbing the sported shoulder strap and putting it on as he was getting a good feel for it.
"Not a bad look." Nick complimented him.
"Thanks, buddy." Ren thanked his partner as put away the envelope full of money in his pockets. "Alright then, let's go." He said to his new partner.
With that, Ren and Nick made their way out of the alley.
As the two got out of the alley, they wanted to get a good view of everything that was around them and hope that they could figure out where they were. Ren and Nick looked at the people, the buildings, the billboards and banners that were laid out across the city. It was then that they realized something.
Nothing was in English, the language was Japanese. Everything around them was written in Japanese. All the people around were speaking in Japanese too. But the craziest thing about this was that Ren could understand them. The writing and the language, he can understand them clearly like he's been doing this all his life.
The boy was confused about this for a moment until he realized that the Judgement god did mean that he gave him the ability to understand different languages. That would explain how he can read and understand Japanese.
He then looked at the people around him, they looked pretty normal. He noticed that some of them didn't look that human. There was a woman who had fur on most of her body and kind of looked like a tiger, a man with a rocky body wearing a business suit, a little boy who had an eyeball in the middle of his forehead, And many others with different features. Ren also noticed that some of the people were walking around in heroic costumes like they were patrolling the streets of crime.
The Judgement god said to him that this world was a superhuman society and everyone called their powers quirks.
"So this is what a superhuman society looks like." Ren thought as he and Nick were walking around the city. It looks like something out of an anime or manga.
He then suddenly stopped with his arms crossed looking around at everything with Nick stopping behind him.
"This world is pretty interesting." Ren said out loud.
"Your right. I never seen anything like it." Nick said that people were giving him weird looks as they passed by but decided to ignore it. "So what we're going to do now?"
"First, gathering information about this world and its history," Ren said to Nick starting to walk again.
The god only gave him a brief explanation of this world, but he needed to know its full history and the states it in before he could decide what to do next.
"If it's information we need then why don't we head to the library." Nick suggested.
"Not a bad idea Nick," Ren said as a library was the perfect source of information. "Excuse me, sir." He stopped a passing-by man.
He is a very skinny man with sharp, angular features and long limbs, his neck long and his eyebrows absent. He is wearing baggy clothing that looks slightly too big for him to wear.
This was Toshinori Yagi, but he is better known as All Might, The number 1 hero and the symbol of peace.
"Do you need something, young man?" Toshinori asked.
"Is there a library nearby in the area?" Ren asked.
The man thought about it for a moment before answering.
"Yes, the Musutafu public library is not too far from here." Toshinori said before picking in the East. "If you go that way then you'll see a giant building in the center of the street. That's where the library is."
"Got it. Thanks for the directions." Ren said before turning to Nick. "Come on Nick." He said while walking away in the direction Toshinori pointed.
"Oh, right! This way." Nick said catching up to his partner.
Toshinori looked at the boy walking away with that robot of his following. Not the strangest thing he'd seen as robots were not uncommon in the world but was still intriguing to see. The boy didn't look Japanese at all or familiar with the area, so he must be a foreigner. But there was something about that kid that got All Might's attention as he didn't know why.
"Interesting kid..." Toshinori wondered before he started to cough while holding his hand over his mouth.
When he stopped the hero looked at his hand to see a little blood on it as he had a concerned look on his face.
"Shit, I'm running out of time. I need to find a successor and quickly." Toshinori thought wiping the blood from his mouth.
Musutafu Public Library- Afternoon
After finding the public library, Ren and Nick spent the last 2 hours on the library's computer looking up information on this world.
It was the year 2321. That took Ren by surprise, as it was 300 years ahead in the future from his old world. Despite that, everything looks pretty normal and nonfuturistic except for quirks.
Quite some time ago, humans on this planet were all powerless. Not a single human out of eight billion people had any supernatural ability. All of that changed with one birth. No historian or scientist to this day knows just how or why it happened. But nearly three hundred years ago, a baby in Qing Qing City, China, was born with light radiating off of him like he was a living light bulb.
From there on, more and more children were born with each of them possessing some uncanny ability. Some could stretch like they were rubber, others could generate ice or fire, and the list just went on and on.
Right now eighty percent of Earth's population each possesses a power of their very own.
Those powers are what they simply call, quirks.
Quirks come in a very wide variety, as the name quirk implies, they are unique to each individual. However, quirks can be divided into categories based on what they do and how they function, known as Quirk types.
Some quirks cause a permanent physical abnormality to the user's body, known as Mutant-type. Mutant quirks are abilities that cause the user a permanent "abnormality" directly related to their power. Mutant-type quirks create bodily structures that grant the user more complex abilities that Emitter and Transformation quirks cannot safely provide. Oftentimes times they will bestow prehensile appendages that the user can control or add structures to pre-existing limbs to enhance pre-existing abilities. Mutant-type quirks even have the ability to channel certain aspects of their user through them in a similar manner to Emitter-type quirks.
Mutant-type quirks are also the only known type of quirk that can be passed down through generations without necessarily bestowing the corresponding ability. As a result of this, while it's uncertain how common Mutant-type quirks are, it can be safely assumed they are the most commonly inherited.
While not necessarily a weakness, Mutant-type quirks cannot be turned off, and sometimes cause the user inconvenience due to their malformations. However because these quirks are passively active, they are partially immune to Quirk-disabling effects. Since Mutant quirks are passively active, they are the most identifiable at a glance.
Users with Mutant-type quirks, most often known as "heteromorphs", also find themselves the most discriminated against, even by other quirk users, due to their outer appearances. Some are often pushed toward villainy due to the prejudices they deal with due to their looks. Cults also exist with the purpose of eradicating these heteromorphs.
Some cause the user's body to undergo a temporary physical abnormality when the power is used, known as Transformation-type. Transformation quirks are abilities that cause the user to take on a temporary alteration of some kind. Transformation-type quirks allow the user to temporarily "transform" their body in a variety of manners, sometimes enhancing existing features, removing features, or adding new features to the body altogether.
Transformation-type quirks usually require a conscious effort by the user to "activate", though most users can be trained to initiate them reflexively, depending on the conditions required for activation, and practice to initiate their quirks with greater intent and precision.
Transformation-type quirks usually require close-range proximity in order to fully utilize them in combat due to them only affecting the user's body. While Transformation-type quirks are often quite powerful, their biggest weakness is that their effects are often temporary, and over-exertion usually leads to negative repercussions on the user's behalf. Transformation quirks can also be limited based on the user, how resilient their body is, and the resources they have available to them. Some users condition their bodies in certain ways so that their quirks can operate more effectively.
Transformation-type quirks are the only known type of quirk that can bestow the user attributes they do not normally exhibit by default. Because this type of quirk combines the activation time and mutant-shape aspects of the other quirk types, it is also often known as Hybrid or Composite.
Transformation-type quirks generally affect the user exclusively.
Transformation seems to be the least common type of quirk.
Finally, some quirks don't cause any abnormalities to the user's physical body at all, known as Emitter-type. Emitter quirks are abilities that allow the user to generate and possibly control certain things, or alter existing things around them in certain ways. The emissions of Emitter-type quirks can have a wide variety of properties and abilities.
Emitter-type quirks, usually require a conscious effort to activate, and some even require large amounts of concentration in order for them to remain active.
Emitter-type quirks can also have various ranges. While some users require physical contact to use them, others can have much longer ranges with no distance restrictions.
While most Emitter-type quirk users generally have a handle on their own "emissions", it's also possible for users to hurt themselves by coming into too much contact with their quirk. In the case of generating substances, making too much too fast or for too long can harm the user as they are using reserves from their own body, or gradually lose their natural resistance to their own harmful quirk.
While some things produced by Emitter-type quirks have common properties, some are unique to the user and thus have special properties. Those who alter the properties of things around them can also widely vary in effects, from molecular alteration to molecular destruction.
Some Emitter-type Quirks cause the user's body to take on a temporary alternation. While such quirks would normally fall into the Transformation class, the difference is that these powers require the user to take in an outside resource in order for the quirk to activate.
Emitter-type quirks are, by a wide margin, the most common type of quirk.
Aside from the three Quirk Types, quirks can also be categorized into sub-types. A quirk can fall into a given sub-type regardless of what type it is. In other words, a given sub-type can be designated to quirks of all three types, so long as the quirks possess an aspect that fulfills the requirement to be considered as part of that sub-type.
Society fell into chaos with the rise of these new abilities, which changed the concept of what it meant to even be human.
Many people started to use their powers for their own cause. Fortunately, there were people who wanted to counter these new criminals.
As such, these are how Heroes and Villains came to the known world.
Those who use their quirks for the sake of 'peace and order' of Heroes.
Villains are people who use their quirks to commit crimes, cause destruction, and potentially put innocent lives at stake.
There are many different types of Heroes and Villains in the world.
Right now, their society lives in the Age of Peace. Where Heroes' work becomes a prestigious job. Many dreams of being a hero. For that, there are many special schools to teach it.
Unfortunately, not everyone can be born equal as the remaining 20% of the global population were those who are born without any superpowers whatsoever.
Quirkless people are the people who possess absolutely no quirk, particularly unique features, or anything that would put them under the classification of being superhuman.
Society reacts differently to quirkless people.
In some instances, one is the subject of mockery and prejudice. Whereas with others, although they might have a good relationship with people with quirks, the quirkless can be seen with pity simply for being quirkless.
Commonly, anyone who does not possess a quirk is considered to be weak and worthless, or that their circumstances are incredibly unfortunate and rare.
As time went on, the shock and fear over these powers died out while the population of super-humans only grew to the point where they are now.
Over time new laws were enforced and changed in order to adapt to the times but as it stands now, only registered and licensed heroes or heroes in training with provisional hero licenses are allowed to use their quirks to save others with only a few special exceptions.
In an effort to preserve order in the superhuman society, there are several laws and procedures in place to ensure the conscientious use of quirks. Public display of quirks is against the law, except in cases of self-defense, such as when one is under attack or preventing someone else from being attacked. Certain quirks also have more regulations than others, like Glamour.
Citizens are required to have their quirks registered with the government. It is possible for the details of a person's quirk registration to the changed, as it is quite common for people to discover new things about their quirk that they were previously unaware of.
During elementary school, children receive Quirk counseling in order to learn how to use their powers responsibly.
Aspiring Pro Heroes undergo special education during their high school careers and receive licenses that give them the authority to use their quirks freely.
You can only get a provisional hero license in high school, but you'll have to graduate to get a full-fledged license.
If someone uses their quirk to save people without a hero license, that would be an act of vigilantism.
Vigilantes are people who voluntarily carry out duties usually done by pro-heroes without paying attention to the law.
Due to the hero regulations and quirk restriction laws, people are not allowed to perform heroic duties on their own and vigilantism is therefore illegal.
The origins of heroes can be traced back to the vigilantes. When quirks started to manifest in this world, there was no organization that controlled the Pro heroes and they were therefore vigilantes.
The Pro Hero System was first put into place in Rhode Island, U.S.A. under the "Rhode Island New State Statute"; one hundred and eighty-nine vigilantes were affected by this statute, with only seven being accepted as official Pro heroes.
Nowadays most of the vigilantes have vanished.
However, there are some who have been regularly active in their activities to help people and dispense justice as vigilantes.
Some Pro Heroes had never taken action against some vigilantes or left them so long they did not abuse their quirks and go on a rampage.
The use of quirks in public without a hero license is prohibited by law. Law enforcement tends to look the other way if a person uses their quirk for something harmless like traveling or helping an elderly person cross the road, but using a quirk dangerously will be punished severely.
Taking all of this, Ren absorbed the information and came to a conclusion.
"This world's society is a Hero's Paradise but also sucks," Ren said in disappointment as he was rubbing his eyes.
While there are some things in this world he is okay with, but there is a lot of stuff here he thought negatively of.
Currently, there are two contradicting definitions of heroes within Ren's mind. One is that of warriors sworn to live a life of servitude. The other is what you call 'glory seekers'. Individuals are mostly concerned with fame and prestige.
Quirks just suddenly appeared with no warning and completely changed the whole world.
This world might have superheroes, but the fact that many heroes in this world take their gifts for granted, and do not use their powers to benefit others as a whole.
And while the concept of Pro-Heroes and Hero's license have their merits that make sense, it's also a system that can be easily abused or exploited by higher authorities, with ulterior motives.
while he can acknowledge the existence of heroes because they work similarly to the Super Sentai and a new job profession due to the state of the world, but was disgusted when some heroes only went fame and glory.
Pro-Heroes might not come to answer help, because it's not in their own benefactor's interests.
And because the Hero Agencies are sponsored or controlled by either state or private enterprises, Pro-Heroes can be easily corrupted by greed and egos, which will hurt people.
Another reason Ren considered why this world's society sucked: many Pro-Heroes are motivated by fame, money, and glory. Ren felt kind of disgusted by it.
He saw fictional worlds, where the lives of innocent people are far more important than money, glory, and fame, like the DC, Marvel, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider universes. They may have the money and resources they want to live a lavish lifestyle, all thanks to their companies. Hell some of them were just ordinary people living regular lives before being thrown into their shit shows.
But they are willing to risk their lives to save people, and all lifeforms in the universe. They take their duties seriously and do not half-ass them. Because that's what a true hero should do, regardless of race, ideology, and politics.
The final reason that he considered the world society sucked: Discrimination.
In his world, whether it be race or religion, discrimination had all but disappeared in the public, though not completely. To be looked down upon because you don't have a quirk or for being different compared to others is just plain petty.
That's like looking down on someone because he or she has a different skin color!
Ren was angry at those who are so close-minded about others for something they can't even help.
Suicide rates of people born without a quirk were so much higher than people with them, even with the number of people who were born without them being so much smaller. And those with heteromorphs or villainous appearances who suffer discrimination and are pushed to being villains become judgmental people.
How inconsiderate of others' lives were the people of this world?
Ren sighs in annoyance while looking out the window of the library. He sees the cars and people passing by as they go about their lives.
"The people of this world have evolved to the point that they developed superpowers beyond human comprehension. Not even my old world could compare to this society. Even then, how blind can these people be. With all the villains roaming around you would think that everyone would at least get along and fight a common enemy. However, the humans in this world only care more about their public image or careers instead of helping others in trouble, and they discriminate against those who are born with no powers or features that don't meet society's standards. You'd think racism would have disappeared a long time ago by now, but no. Even after 300 years, they still have it, and for something as petty as having a cool power vs. a weak power or just no power at all and looking different. It's disappointing that people are unintentionally creating villains. This is even worse than what's back in my old world. It's almost like people forget what it means to be a hero." Ren says to himself in frustration as Nick also has his own opinion about this society.
Even Nick was disappointed in this world and how it views others based on their powers.
"The humans here are some close-minded. They never accept anyone that's not their own. It's like quirks determined how a person stands in this world." Nick said in a disappointing tone.
It's true that humans fear and hate things they don't understand. In his world, there were many strong monsters that threatened humanity a number of times. The Zangyack Space Empire is a perfect example, as they are the whole universe destroying or capturing the entire planet in their bloody conquest. But in this world, it has no excuse. Humans discriminate against others just because they look different from them and because they have no powers. Guess no matter the world they're in there will always be discrimination between people. Even when special abilities are the norm.
"And using their powers to make it big in the world is even worse. It puts shame on the Super Sentai members who fought just to keep the smile on people's faces." Nick said in frustration.
"Nick, I can understand how you feel, but not all people here are like that. There are some heroes in this world who are actually trying to help people." Ren turned in the side of his chair at Nick.
While looking online he noticed that there are some heroes out there who are actually taking their job seriously instead of having their heads up there butts.
"But still, something has to be done. This world may consider those who are quirkless useless." Ren said to himself, now standing straight with his head up high. "Might as well prove them wrong, Time to show the world what the "Super Sentai" can do: Heroes without powers."
"But Ren if you do this, it will be vigilantism and the people in this world don't take too kindly to that," Nick said in concern.
"So? In a way, all Sentai are vigilantes because they fight beyond the law to protect the lives of the innocent." Ren explained to his partner.
Which are all superheroes he knows from his world.
"Nick, I'm a Sentai now. It may be our duty to protect the people of this planet from any who threaten it, regardless of what the law may say. Being a hero is more than some job where you wear a costume and need to have some sort of flashy, useful, or powerful quirk alongside a 'license' to be allowed to 'work'." Ren resumed what he was saying. "A true hero is someone that fights for the right thing, and just for the sake of it. It's someone who doesn't need an 'excuse' or a reason, such as a 'license', to help those in need. They know that they are not always expected to be rewarded or recognized for their even so, so they keep fighting to make the world a better place. Even if everyone sees me as a quirkless loser or a criminal who practices vigilantism, I will keep on fighting for what I believe to be the right thing. I'll show this world the true meaning of what a hero is. Until the very end."
Nick couldn't help but feel touched upon hearing his partner's words and reasoning. This was a true Super Sentai in the making.
"Your right, Ren! What ever choice you make I will always have your back, 100% of the way!" Nick happily said to him.
"Thanks, Nick. I'm lucky to have such a great partner and friend like you." Ren said patting his shoulder.
"Haha, thanks," Nick said in embarrassment. "So now that we know about this world, what's next?"
Before Ren could answer, he felt his stomach growl from hunger.
"Let's eat," Ren stated that he didn't have anything to eat all day.
Musutafu Streets- Evening
In the back of a dark ally, a blonde hair man was watching the heroes searching for someone.
His outfit consists of a black, Underneath this, he wears a red tank top, a dark jacket that hangs around his waist, dark-colored pants, and black knee-high boots.
"Hahahaha!" He was laughing crazily. "These heroes think they can catch me? Let them try. Just makes me even more excited to see their blood." The man said with a bloodthirsty smile. "Now how should I do this?" The man was thinking of fighting the heroes.
Should he just attack them one at a time, fight them all at once, or just go on a rampage? Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as get to see their blood.
"Ok, so who should I kill first." The blonde-haired man was searching for his next victim.
Then he sees a couple with matching clothes walking by.
They both had matching hero costumes. Red vest, black long body suit, shoulder pads, with white gloves and boots. Swimming mask with a snorkel attached to the side. The man has black short hair and the woman has light brown hair. They both looked to be middle-aged adults.
They were the Water Hose Heroes, Tatsuo Izumi and Hayami Izumi.
The villains can tell at first glance that they were Pro heroes. He then smiled creepyly, blood pumping, and getting excited for a fight.
"It's about time. I was getting tired of waiting." Saying nothing else. He couldn't wait any longer. "It's time for some blood!"
Snack Safari- Evening
Later on though, Ren and Nick stopped at a small joint called the Snack Safari, which was a rather simple place, and all he had on the menu were different types of meat. There were only a few people in the small restaurant right now as they were enjoying their meals.
"This will be my first time eating Japanese food," Ren said sitting in his seat at the front counter with the owner of the restaurant cooking the food in front as the Sentai was looking forward to trying another country's food.
"Not that I'm complaining or anything, but why this place?" Nick asked sitting on his left side.
"It smelled good," Ren said leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed while looking at the Buddy Roid. "I also never had Japanese curry before. I wonder how it tastes?"
"They say trying new things can be a good experience," Nick said in agreement, then began to look at Ren. "So, just how are we going to create a new Go-Busters?"
"Don't rush it, Nick. Something like this takes time. Besides, your brain won't work right if you don't eat." Ren replied.
"Your right, we can take time figuring all of this out later." Nick agreed with a nod as humans need to eat in order to work.
While they were waiting; something on the restaurant TV's got their attention.
"This breaking news, a villain has been supposed somewhere in the Musutafu area." The newsman said continuing his report. "Pro heroes and police are currently investigating the area searching for the villain we are about."
Ren listened to the news thinking to himself. "Musutafu? Isn't that where we are?" His thoughts were cut off when the image on the TV changed from the newsman to a different man.
Ren can only assume that this was the man who was the villain.
He is a large, bulky, and extremely muscular man set wide with short, spiky blond hair and small black eyes, and he also has a very creepy smile on his face.
"This man is Goto Imasuji better known as the villain: Muscular. He is an A-ranked who has already killed 11 civilians and 7 pro heroes. His quirk is a Transformation-type that can enhance his strength." The next thing that happened was the screen changed again back to the new man and the villain's photo was on the left side but a little smaller."The villain is incredibly dangerous so police have asked all civilians to stay indoors until the crisis is over."The man finishes his report and moves to his next one. "Now on to other news. The U.A. Entrance Exam is next year. So students who want to..."
At that point, Ren and Nick just stopped listening as everyone in the restaurant that heard the news report had concerned expressions on their faces as they hoped a hero would stop that villain.
Nick turns to his partner with a concerned look on his face.
"That sounds bad." Nick said in a worried tone.
"Yeah, a blood-tasty maniac is on the loose killing innocent people." Ren said as his hand balled into a fist in anger.
He felt like he had to do something about this before more lives were taken by that monster.
Before he could think of anything else, Ren felt like they were being watched. He then turned his head to the right side to see a middle school girl sitting right next to him.
She is a young girl with shoulder-length, bob-shaped hair, side-swept to her right with some shorter strands hanging above her eyes. She has fair skin, an athletic build, and cerulean eyes, and she's usually seen wearing a neutral expression on her face. She is wearing a black sailor's girl uniform. Long sleeves and a skirt.
Her name is Yui Kodai.
She was just staring at him with a blank look.
"Umm... excuse, miss?" Ren awkwardly said.
Yui didn't say anything, she just looked at Ren, so she had just seen the most handsome boy in her life. His eyes drew her in as she couldn't look away. Yui didn't realize that she was starting to blush lightly.
"Excuse, miss?" Ren said a little louder which snapped the girl out of her trace.
"Mm?" Yui said in confusion.
"Is there something you need from me? You have been staring at me." Ren asked the girl.
Yui didn't say anything as the blush on her face widened. So she looked the other way and wondered if she could be enough to talk to him.
"What's wrong with me? I never felt like this before." Yui thought in embarrassment as this was a new feeling for her.
Not once in her whole life has the quiet girl felt like this.
Ren raised an eyebrow at this as he was confused by this.
"Are all Japanese girls weird like this?" Ren wondered.
"Thanks for waiting." The owner of the shop said placing down their orders. "This is our special safari curry."
"Alright." Ren said as he looked at his food.
"Looks tasty." Nick complimented while looking at Ren's meal.
Before Ren started to eat, he noticed the girl next to him ordered the same thing.
"Looks like you ordered the same thing as me, huh?" Ren said to the girl.
"Mm," Yui said with a nod but still had a light blush on her face.
"Not much of a talker, are you?" Ren stated.
"Mm." Yui said again.
"Okay then, good talk," Ren said before picking up his spoon and starting to eat. "Delicious."
"MM!" Yui agreed eating her own food.
"It's time like this I wish I was human..." Nick mutters in a little envy.
After a few minutes of eating, Ren finished his meal with a satisfied look.
"That hit the spot." Ren said before taking out some money. "Hey old man, I'm ready to play my bill."
"Right." The owner said taking the money. "Let me just check you out."
"Also, I'll pay for her meal too." Ren said pointing his thumb at Yui, which took the girl by surprise.
"If you say so, sir." The owner said as he opened the cash register.
Yui looked at him as if she didn't expect him to play for her food.
"But the way..." Yui couldn't help but ask quietly.
"For keeping me company." Ren simply said to her. "I'm new to this country and talking to someone helps put my mind at ease, especially to a pretty girl like you."
Yui eyes completely widened in disbelief as she couldn't help but blush and feel embarrassed about being called pretty.
"P-P-P-Pretty..." Yui was stuttered to say.
"Yeah, you are pretty," Ren said with a smile.
This made Yui blush even harder as she looked at Ren's smile.
"Here's your change, sir." The owner said handing Ren his money.
"Thanks." Ren said grabbing the money and standing up from his chair. "Let's go, Nick."
"Right." Nick nodded as he picked up the black briefcase before standing up.
Ren looked at Yui one last time before saying.
"See ya." He then started to walk out of the restaurant.
"Bye." Nick said with a little wave as he followed Ren from behind.
"Thank you, come again." The owner said.
Yui immediately snapped out of her embarrassment as she saw Ren and Nick leaving.
"W-Wait!" Yui called out but Ren didn't hear as he walked out of the restaurant. Yui just let out a sigh in disappointment at her missed opportunity. She never even got his name. "I wonder if I'll ever meet him again?" She said softly hoping to meet Ren again.
Musutafu Streets Supermarket- Evening
Muscular was standing right in front of a supermarket. He wanted to kill the 2 heroes he saw earlier but decided to wait. So he followed the two until they reached a big supermarket where were people coming in and out of the store. He was just planning on killing those two heroes then and there, but following them was the best decision he's ever made. Not only does he get to kill the heroes but all these people as well.
More blood, more fun for him.
He then made his way to the security guard who was eating donuts.
The guard noticed him and asked.
"Excuse me, sir, do you need some time?" The man asked not knowing he was talking to a villain.
"Yes, can please..." Musculars activate his quirk, and muscle fibers begin to grow out of his left arm wrapping are it, making his left arm much stronger than before. Then grabbed the guard by his face. "Show Me Your Blood!" Then throws the man into the side of the wall of the supermarket, destroying it and making a huge hole.
People were soon screaming and panicking about what was happening around them. Some people were injured when Muscular threw the guard into the wall.
Muscular just smiles sadistically looking at his work before jumping into the broken wall and continuing his rampage when he sees an injured mother and daughter lying on the floor hurt from his previous attack.
"Oh, that looks like it hurts?" Muscular said sarcastically as he was walking towards them. "Let me put you out of your mise-" He was cut off by a voice.
"STOP!" The sound of a male voice.
Before he knew it, Muscular was hit with a burst of high-pressure water in the side of his rub sending him skating across the floor.
It was one of the Water Hose Heroes, Tatsuo Izumi.
"You're not killing anyone today villain!" Tatsuo yelled at Muscular in anger. "You two get to safety!" Turn to the family.
The mother and daughter did not waste any time and left.
"Hm?" Muscular looked up in confusion. "Who the hell are you supporting the be?" He asked the hero, not knowing his name.
"I am Tatsuo Izami, the Water Hose Hero!" He shouted his name proudly.
"Water Hose?" Then it finally hit him. "Oh, I remember now! The veteran hero with a water base quirk." The villain said getting off the ground with a smile. "But wait? If I remember right, Water Hose were two heroes who shared the same name. So we're the is the other-" Muscular thought when another burst of high-pressure water him in the face. Pushing him out of the supermarket.
Muscular was then screaming in agony from the surprise attack.
"Tatsuo!" Hayami yells to her husband, running by his side.
The other Water Hose Hero, Hayami Izumi.
"I just finished evacuating the last of the civilians." Hayami was telling her husband.
"Good, now we can fight the villain without getting civilians involved. Let's go Hayami!" Tatsuo said to her getting a nod from her as they ran outside.
Outside the supermarket, Muscular was recovering from the surprise attack, he was right back on his feet ready to kill. The Water Hoses were right in front of him, a few feet away. Muscular looked to his right and saw a group of civilians making their way out of the supermarket, which then gave him a brilliant idea.
"Don't think it'll be that easy!" Muscular rushed to the group of civilians to kill them.
"No, you don't!" Tatsuo fired another high-pressurized water from his hands.
However Muscular was ready this time. He raised his left arm covering it and augmented the muscle fibers out to protect his face from being hit, but could still feel the water tearing through his fibers. Those heroes aren't as weak as he first thought.
"Hayami now!" The husband yelled to his wife.
Hayami then jumped right at Muscular's back, ready to shout more water at the villain. She then shot water from her hand into Muscular's back skull, but Muscular used his other arm covered in muscle fibers to protect himself again. Then he grabbed Hayami by her arm, throwing her at the crowd of civilians.
Tatsuo then rushed at the villain with furious attacks of water bullets shouting from his hands. Muscular countered by punching each of the water bullets with his muscle fibers arm. The water bullet tore throw his fibers a little bit and some of the water bullets nailed him, but he powered through the pain. When Muscular was close enough he threw a punch at the male hero. Tatsuo managed to block the attack with his left arm but he felt his bones being broken from the impact of the punch.
"Aww!" Tatsuo screamed in pain while landing on the ground holding his broken arm.
"Oh, no! Tatsuo!" Hayami shouted recovering from his attack. "You bastard! Take this, Ultimate Move: Water Cannon!" In anger, Hayami placed both of her hands together and shot out high-pressure water from her hands but this time it was even stronger than before.
Muscular turned crossing both of his arms in front of his face and putting even more muscle fibers around his arms and body. The high-pressure water hit the villain's muscle fibers. Feeling the pressure of the Ultimate Move, Muscular could feel his fibers being chipped away by the second. But he then started to run straight forward like a bulldozer to the female hero even with her Ultimate Move hitting him. Hayami saw this coming and disabled her Ultimate Move to dodge the assault at the last second. Muscular swung his right arm to the side hitting Hayami in her ribs, making her roll to the group of civilians in pain as she was holding her right side.
Hayami felt like her ribs were broken.
The civilians who saw this were trying to sneak away well the fight was going on.
"Where do you all think your going?" The crowd froze in fear and couldn't move an inch. "Don't think I haven't forgotten about all of you. When I'm done with this hero your next on my list." Muscular said which scared the shit out of the crowd.
With a grin on his face, Muscular grabbed Hayami by the neck and was about to break it until.
"Ultimate Move: Water Cannon!" High-pressure water was hitting Muscular on the left side of his face.
"AAAAAAAAAGH!" The villain screams in pain, letting go of Hayami, and is sent into a wall before it crumbles onto him.
Muscular was now buried under a pile of rubble, everyone turned to the side to see Tatsuo with both arms up together before falling to the ground due to exhaustion and pain.
"Tatsuo!" Hayami said running up to her husband's side. "Are you ok?" She said in concern for her husband well well-being.
"I'm fine Hayami. I'm just glad you're ok." Tatsuo said with an exhausted look.
The civilians were now crying in celebration due to the Water Hose Hero's victory.
"T-They did it!" A woman yelled.
"They actually beat an A-ranked villain." A man said in shock but still happy by their victory.
"Mommy they beat the bad guy right?" A child asked their parent.
"Yes, everything's going to be alright now sweety." The mother told her child.
"Water Hose, Water Hose, Water Hose, Water Hose, Water Hose!" The people were chanting the names of their saviors over and over again.
Unfortunately, their happiness was cut short when they heard a loud noise coming from the rubble.
"ARGH!" Muscular cried bursting out of the rubble with his hand over the left side of his face.
That scared everyone because they thought the fight was over, but it seemed the villain was not done yet.
"You-You-You..." Muscular had a very angry expression on his face. "YOU BASTERD!" Feeling his face he noticed that something was wrong with his left side.
The vision in his left eye was blurry, He felt a warm liquid running down his face. Muscular then saw a broken glass on the ground looking into his reflection. What he saw made him mad, the left side of his face was severely damaged as he was missing his left eye.
"THAT'S IT! I'M DONE SCREWING AROUND! TIME TO DIE!" Muscular said as it was the last straw.
Muscular was having the time of his life. There was no greater then satisfaction in life than killing others, including the weakling. Watching them struggle and fight for their very lives. And killing weak heroes was even better. How can those weak heroes protect anyone if they can't even protect themselves? And that was what was going on right now. But now he was furious and wanted nothing more than to kill them.
"W-We can't give u-up." Hayami struggling to get up. "We have to wait until backup arrives." She thought hoping more heroes would come soon.
"Your r-r-right." Tatsuo was struggling as well. "Even if he beats us, we can still buy time until more pros show up." He then turned around seeing the crowd of civilians. "And we can't run or he'll kill those people." He thought.
Both Izumi knew they couldn't win this fight. The villain was just too strong for them alone, but they couldn't abandon those people to die either. If they did that, they could never call themselves heroes again.
Both Tatsuo and Hayami strengthened their resolve, and stood their ground against the villain, as the Water Hose Heroes got up from the ground, taking a fighting stance.
The Water Hose Heroes are beaten up, breathing heavily from exhaustion, and struggling to stand on their feet. The civilians were watching the two pros fight with everything they had to beat the villain. Some of them were cheering for the Water Hoses to win and some were praying for another hero to show up and help them.
"Good, It seems that both of you still have some fight left." Muscular said with a sadistic smile as he rushed forward towards them. "NOW SHOW ME YOUR BLOOD!"
"Kota, we're sorry." Tatsuo & Hayami thought as they prepared for the worst.
Muscular grew muscle fiber on his right arm as a large fist was about to make contact with the heroes until the roaring sound of a motorcycle engine was heard.
When Muscular turned to see his eyes widened in surprise as a person dressed in a red suit riding on a red motorcycle was flying straight towards him in the air.
"TRANSPORT!" A mysterious voice said.
Then out of nowhere, something materialized in front of him in mid-air, and he quickly grabbed it and pointed it at Muscular. He then used that device in his hand to fire multiple laser blasts at the villain.
"AHHHH!" Muscular screamed in pain as he was getting shot multiple times.
The person was still firing shots at the villain while still riding his bike in midair. One of the lasers hit the villain in his already injured eye which made Muscular fall down on the ground as he was rolling back in front of the floor holding his eye in unbelievable agony.
When the stranger's motorcycle lands on the ground he makes a hard right turn next to the Water Hose Heroes to stop himself.
This greatly surprised not only the two heroes but also the crowd of civilians near the supermarket entrance as they did not expect that to happen with some of the people recording the action.
This mysterious stranger was wearing a red leather jacket and black pants. The jacket had a silver line going across the hips and arms. The outfit also sported black straps with a communication device GB on it attached to the left side. The red helmet had a silver mouthpiece and a red visor. The top of the helmet was shaped like a cheetah. However, the eyes were headlights.
He was riding on top of a red motorcycle whose front was shaped like a cheetah with a gold plate over it.
