VIGILANTE STATUS
Musutafu Streets- Evening
A few moments ago...
It's been a few minutes since Ren and Nick left the restaurant and were walking around the city. Right now, Ren is currently figuring out what to do next.
"Man, I'm tired." Ren sighed while walking down an empty street with no cars or people. "We should find a motel to sleep in."
"Good thing I managed to get a guidebook a couple of stores ago," Nick said while he was holding a guidebook. "And the closest motel is not far from here."
"Are you sure? Because you don't have the best sense of direction." Ren questions his partner.
"W-What? I have you know I gotten better." Nick said in his defense.
Ren only just gave him a look with his arms crossed.
"Okay, maybe not..." Nick muttered in disappointment.
"Let me see the guidebook," Ren said in a blind tone while holding his hand out.
BOOOOM!
Before Nick could hand the guidebook over to Ren, an explosion occurred at a random distance as both Ren and Nick looked to see black smoke in the sky.
"What was that?!" Nick shouted in concern.
Ren looked just as concerned as Nick.
"That's not a good sign." Ren thought having a bad feeling about that explosion. Then he looked at Nick. "Nick, motorcycle mode now."
"Alright... Let's go!" Nick said before backflipping to transform into a motorcycle.

Ren immediately got on the motorcycle and put on his helmet before placing both hands on the handles, then drove off down the street to where the smoke was coming from. The Super Sentai was in a hurry as he was driving past every car, and ignoring all the traffic lights and stop signs to get to his destination quickly.
After a minute of quick drive, Ren turned the corner to where the smoke was coming from and as he was driving, they saw what was happening. Both Nick and Ren see a half-destroyed supermarket and most of the parking lot destroyed with a couple of injured civilians next to the destroyed supermarket.
Ren felt his heart drop when his eyes landed on the villain. He looks exactly like the photo on the news. But he looks a little different, he has a large scar going across the left side of his face, and missing is his left eye. Then his gaze turned towards something that made his eyes widen.
Two injured Pro heroes were standing their ground against the villain as best they could. But it looks like they would lost for much longer without some help.
"This is bad Ren! That villain's going to kill them at this rate!" Nick said to him.
"Yeah, but not on our watch," Ren said before looking at his Morphin Bracer.
Ren moved his right hand to his left arm to twist the dial on the Morphing Brace and then pressed a button on the tip, causing a pair of yellow shades to open up while he was still riding on the Nick motorcycle.
"IT'S MORPHIN TIME!" A voice from the Morphing Brace announced.
Then cylinder of green digital energy was formed around his feet as it was traveling up his body to form his red suit. The green digital energy stopped at his neck before Ren placed his right hand back on the bike's handle and then moved his left arm close to his face.
"Let's Morphin!" Ren invoked while a cylinder of green digital energy was quickly formed around his neck, traveling up his head to form his helmet but the visor was empty and could see Ren's eyes, and then the yellow shades glowed green before shooting onto his helmet as the digital energy turns the shades into a crimson visor to complete the morph.
Now that he finished his morph, Ren pulled his hand back on the motorcycle lever to increase his speed.
As the Red Buster was about to reach the supermarket, he saw a wooden mini ramp and had an idea. So he drove to it and rode off the ramp to get some air, as the Buster was flying straight at the villain.
Muscular heard the sound of a motorcycle engine and turned to see someone dressed in a red suit riding on top of a red motorcycle, that was flying straight towards him in the air, which surprised the villain.
Ren immediately tapped his Transpod to summon a weapon.
"TRANSPORT!" A voice from the Transpod announced.
When he did that the Ichigan Buster digitally materialized in front of him in mid-air, as the Red Buster quickly grabbed it and then pointed the blaster at Muscular before opening fire at the villain.
"AHHHH!" Muscular screamed in pain as he was getting shot multiple times.
Ren was still firing shots at the villain while still riding Nick's motorcycle in midair. One of the lasers hit Muscular in his already injured eye which made the villain fall down on the ground as he was rolling back in front of the floor holding his eye in unbelievable agony.
When the motorcycle landed on the ground, the Red Buster did a hard right turn next to the Water Hose Heroes to stop himself.
This greatly surprised not only the two heroes but also the crowd of civilians near the supermarket entrance as they did not expect that to happen with some of the people recording the action.
"Hey, you two okay?" Ren asked the two heroes he just saved without looking at them as he got off his motorcycle.
The Water Hoses just blinked multiple times as they got over their shock.
"Y-Yes, we're fine but who are you?" Hayami asked the Sentai.
"I'm the Red Butser, a Super Sentai and leader of the Go-Busters." Ren answered as he kept his eyes on the villain.
"Super Sentai? Go-Busters?" The Water Hose Heroes thought in confusion as they never heard those terms before.
"Red Butser? I never heard of a pro hero with that name." Tatsuo said.
"That's because I'm not a pro," Ren said surprising the two heroes.
"T-Then your a vigilante?! What are you doing is completely against the law? You n-need to leave…" Tatsuo tried to say but he was too injured to say any more words. The woman was in no better condition either.
"I don't think you have any right to say that since he just saved you two from certain death," Nick said which made the both of them jump in surprise.
"D-D-Did that motorcycle just talk?!" Hayami asked in surprise.
"Not the time," Ren said walking over to them and placing the Water Hoses on Nick. "Nick, take them to the other civilians. I'll handle the rest." He told his Buddy Roid.
"On it," Nick said before carrying them to the other civilians.
[End Music]
"S-Stop! Don't do this!" Tatsuo tried to protest but was too injured to do anything.
"Please don't!" Hayami said as well.
But it was in vain as their voice fell to death's eyes with Ren turning his attention back at Muscular who was finally recovering from his pain.
"You damn bastard! You shoot my eye!" Muscular looked at Ren in hatred.
"Not so fun now, when your the one getting hurt." Ren said to him which only made the villain angrier.
"Just who in the hell are you supposed to be?!" Muscular yelled at the Sentai.

"I'm the Red Buster, and I'm here to shut you down for good Muscular!" Ren declined as he got in a fight stance.
At this moment Ren noticed all the people watching their fight, he realized the risks were bigger than to himself and Nick, or the Water Hose Heroes. Innocent people were relying on him too, people with lives and families of their own, and so was society itself, if he let Muscular escape, he would cause a catastrophe wherever he went, and he had already seen a number of bad guys just like Muscular from the DC and Marvel universes. If he could cause this much damage to a supermarket within minutes, what could he do if he were to escape, the amount of people who would die for him would be massive. He couldn't let Muscular win, not only for himself and his own life. But for everyone else too.
Muscular in response laughs maniacally to this before rushing at his prey. "YOU THINK A WEAKLY LIKE YOU CAN STOP ME! I'LL CRUSH YOU LIKE A GRAPE AND BATH IN YOUR BLOOD!" Muscular merely creates more muscle fibers, as he uses it to increase his leg's speed and throws a punch at Ren.
Any other person probably wouldn't be able to avoid an attack like this in time but not the Go-Buster.
When his punch lands on Ren, it fades right through him like he is hitting air, which was an image the Red Buster made by using his superhuman speed.
"What?!" Muscular yelled out his surprise as he watched the after-imagine fides in green data. "Where did he-"
"Your too slow." Ren said as he was behind Muscular without him realizing it as the Buster was in a running stance.
When Muscular twists his body around to hit the Red Buster with his muscle fibers arms, Ren easily dodges it thanks to his speed as his body glows slightly green, getting behind the villain's back again before he notices, and fires multiple lasers blast at him which damages him.
"Damnmit it! That hurts you, Bart!" Muscular said covering his body with more muscle fibers to increase his defense.
The blood-crazy villain realized he couldn't hold back against this kid, so he charged at him with full strength, using his muscle fibers as a shield and creating more to counteract Ren's laser blast, as he was wildly throwing enhanced punches at the Sentai.
But Ren's heightened senses and reaction speed were able to pick up on Muscular's assault as he was dodging them with ease.
"If it wasn't for my Buster Power, he would have landed a hit on me by now." Ren thought as he continued to dodge the punches.
"WHY ARE YOU RUNNING? SHOW ME YOUR BLOOD!" Muscular said as he increased his speed and dashed towards the Go-Buster.
"He's going to die!" A man said in concern.
"Get out of there!" A Woman demanded.
Muscular delivers a powerful punch which Ren uses to jump on top of his opponent's arm and then kicks his already injured eye making the muscle villain howl in pain before falling over. The Red Buster used the moment of the kick to perform a back flip in the air as he pointed his Ichigan Buster at Muscular and fired more shots at him.
The laser blasts didn't do that much damage to him because Muscular was protected by his muscle fibers, but he still felt the pain.
When Ren lands, he knows he needs a new strategy for dealing more damage to the villain.
"I'll have to try something else," Ren said before tapping his Transpod again.
"TRANSPORT!" A voice from the Transpod announced.
Then the Sougan Blade digitally materializes in front of him with the Red Buster grabbing it in his right hand and holding the Ichigan Buster in his left.
"You know kid, that was pretty clever of you." Muscular said as he got up. The muscle fibers still wrapped around his body and arms, granting him incredible strength. "Going for my head since it's not protected from my quirk, dodging my punches at the last second to get the upper hand. But it's not enough to stop me."
"We'll see about that," Ren said before firing more lasers at Muscular as he ran towards him.
Muscular was able to block his face from the laser blast as Ren was getting closer and sent a direct punch into Ren's midsection. But Ren spun out of the way in time much to the shock of Muscular, as he used the momentum of the spin to cut through Muscular's muscle fibers to hurt him.
"Fuck!" Muscular cursed as he tried to attack the Red Buster again.
Ren immediately ducks under the attack but Muscular kicks at him hoping to get a hit in on the Sentai. Ren then quickly dropped to the ground and rolled out of the way in time. While rolling on the ground he shoots more laser blast at Muscular ankles to make him drop to his knees, for Ren quickly gets on his feet again and attack Muscular by slashing him multiple times before finishing it up with a kick to his already injured eye, which made him fall back in absolute pain.
"Bastard! Damn bastard, just what is with you people going for my eyes?!" Muscular shouted while holding his already damaged eye as he stood up on his feet. "It doesn't matter, I'll beat the ass out of you before killing those heroes, then everyone here!"
Ren didn't respond to the villain as he was now beyond angry and done with this monster. The Red Buster then ran all around at the villain with his superhuman speed in a slightly green and red blur that was created after images, sending a chain of attacks, constantly slashing his sword, breaking through Muscular's muscle fiber shell, and finishing the assault with a roundhouse kick directly onto his back head, knocking him face first on the floor and seriously injuring him.
"I refuse to let you hurt anyone else any further. You're a menace to this world, a complete monster without any conscience or empathy, and I refuse to let someone like you continue to hurt even more innocent people just for your own sick twisted pleasure. I'm not weak, because I stand against the abomination of all evil in this world! I am the defender of love, dreams, and peace! I am a Super Sentai! A group of heroes that dedicated themselves to protecting the happiness and smiles of the people in the world!" Ren declared for everyone to hear as he didn't notice he was being recorded by the civilians. "I hold not only my own ideals and hopes but the hopes of everyone behind me! The innocent people of this city, their families, those two heroes, the people of the earth, and everyone else you've hurt in the past or are going to hurt in the future!"
The Water Hoses along with the civilians who heard Ren's speech were completely dumbstruck in awe. They never heard such a passionate speech before from another hero or All Might.
The only thing the people felt at this moment was hope.
"Nice going, Red Buster." Nick said as he was proud of his new partner.
Muscular who heard Ren's speech as well was struggling to get back on his feet as he was hurt.
"W-What the fuck a-are you t-t-talking about..." Muscular said in pure frustration as he was glaring at Ren.
"Don't bother getting up deadweight, you're already too beat up to keep going." Red Buster's words only infuriated that villain even more so than before.
"SHUT IT, I'M NOT DONE! I CAN STILL KILL YOU!" Muscular shouted as he ignored his injured body and rushed at Ren in a fit of blind rage.
Ren in response quickly moved his body to the left while he cut Muscular's right waist, then slashed his back a few times as the villain turned to face him in pain.
"Sit your ass down!" Ren said while blasting him multiple times in the chest.
Muscular cries out as he is knocked down to the ground with all of his muscle fibers shielding his body.
Ren knew this was the perfect time to finish him, but he wanted to make sure he stayed down for good and had an idea.
"Time to end this," Ren said before placing both hands on the Ichigan Buster as he was focusing his fire on Muscular.
"It's Time For Buster!" A voice from the Ichigan Buster said.
The Red Buster visor digitally glowed green briefly with stats displayed on the holographic screen as he was locked onto the villain, while he was twisting the barrel of his blaster as a cylinder of green digital energy was circling the tip of the Ichigan Buster, charging up energy for a powerful shot.
While Ren was doing all this, Muscular got back up on his knee as he looked in horror.
"No! Don't you do it!" Muscular cried out as he was not able to dodge in time.
Ren pulled the trigger as an even stronger laser blast launched at Muscular, causing him to howl out in pain as sparks flew out all over his body before he exploded.
[End Music]
Soon the flames died down revealing Muscular, his body covered in injuries with burns all over him with his clothes torn apart. He was out cold with his eyes widened with white and his mouth open.
"Enemy down." Ren declared as he used one of the Red Buster lines.
Everyone watching was completely silent and couldn't believe it. A vigilante defeated an A-ranked villain that even the two pro heroes couldn't do. The Water Hoses were just as shocked by the boy's victory. They didn't know who he was and why he broke the law, but they knew that they were completely in his debt now for saving their lives.
Then the crowd of civilians broke into cheers, a few of them had even managed to record the fight from start to finish, including his speech.
They had been saved by an incredible child. They were thanking god, for they didn't have much of a chance of survival against that monster, who defeated even the Water Hose duo.
"He did it! He won!" A man happily shouted.
"He did something that no other pro hero could do." Another man committed.
"That kid's incredible!" A woman said happily.
"I don't know what a Super Sentai is, but that was so freakin cool!" A middle schooler said with stars in his eyes.
Ren looked at his hand before smiling and thought. "So this is what it feels like to be a Super Sentai." He then walks towards the injured heroes and civilians at the supermarket. "Is everyone here okay?"
Hayami coughs blood before asking. "We're... fine... who are you?"
"Just a Super Sentai. I'm the Red Buster of the Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters." Ren answered. "I'm going to get you two some help."
"What about... Muscular?" Tatsuo asked.
"Don't worry," Ren said as he looked back at an unconscious Muscular. "He won't be waking up anytime soon. I made sure of that."
Then the sound of Police cars and ambulance sirens was heard as they immediately arrived at the scene which surprised Ren.
"Hey, Red Buster! We need to get out of here before the cops show up!" Nick said driving up to his partner in his motorcycle form.
"Right." Ren agreed as he got on Nick and was able to drive away.
"Wait, Red Buster!" Hayami stopped him.
"What is it? Can't you see I'm in a hurry." Ren said to her.
"Even know I'm a Pro hero and don't condom vigilantism, I would still like to thank you for saving me and my husband's life," Hayami said thanking him.
"Me too as well. We own you are lives." Tatsuo said to him.
The other civilians each gave their own thanks to their savoir as he didn't know how to respond.
"Don't worry about it. I was only doing what I thought was right." Ren said before riding off quickly in the distance as the police, ambulances, and a number of Pro heroes arrived on the scene.
"Is everyone alright?" A wooden man said. He was a young man with a rather muscular build, standing relatively shorter than others. His face was covered in a wooden mask he using with his quirk. His Hero Costume is a dark blue bodysuit that includes a wooden belt, wooden knee pads, and wooden shoes. A small bundle of roses hangs from the left side of his belt.
This hero was a man called Kamui Woods.
"Is anyone hurt? The ambulance on there way." The buff man said. He is a very tall, muscular man of a wide build with slightly-tanned skin. He has a square jaw which juts out a notable amount, small eyes and short white hair, spiked out behind his head. In his hero costume, he wears large headband with a yellow and black-striped caution pattern, matching his thick wrist-guards and the belt around his waist, a square buckle with a triangular decoration sat in its center. He wears what looks to be a cyan-colored cardigan, which exposes his lower torso and the centre of his pectorals, held onto his chest on each side by small metal nuts. His pants are dark blue, with a white stripe down each side, and are slightly baggy on him, and his shoes are plain black with a simple design.
This other hero was a man called Death Arms.
"It's Kamui Woods and Death Arms!" A little boy said.
Kamui Woods looked around the parking lot and saw the villain's body.
"Is that the villain?" Kamui Woods asked seeing the villain's body covered in buried marks.
"My god, who could have done something like this?" Death Arms asked.
"It was the Red Buster." A little girl said happily.
"The Red Buster?" Kamui Woods raised an eyebrow.
"I never heard of a Pro with that name before." Death Arms said in curiosity.
"That's because he's not a Pro hero." They turned their heads to Tatsuo and Hayami who were being dragged by a civilian in their arms. "That young man who was responsible for defeating the villain was a vigilante," Tatsuo said to them.
"None of us would even be alive right now without his help." Hayami weakly said.
"I recognize you two, the Water Hoses Heroes." Kamui Woods said to the venture heroes. "Can you explain to us what happened here?"
Tatsuo and Hayami then explained everything that happened to the villain showing up and the Red Buster defeating him. The two Pros were surprised that a vigilante showed up saving venture heroes and defeating an A-ranked villain all by himself.
"So a kid acting as a vigilante was responsible for all of this." Death Arms said in annoyance.
"Indeed. It true that this Red Buster did beat the villain, but his actions put himself in danger along with everyone else here." Kamui Woods said thinking what this Red Buster did was reckless. "And any case you those two need medical attention as soon as possible, along with any other who was hurt by the villain."
Soon the Police officers were dragging the unconscious villain into custody, reporters were taking pictures and reporting on what was happening, and paramedics were checking on injured civilians. The medics tended the Water Hose Heroes' wounds and took them to the hospital while Kamui Woods, Death Arms, and other Pro Heroes were wondering how they were going to deal with this new vigilante.
"I AM HERE!" A loud booming voice was heard as the Number 1 Hero All Might came down from the skies and landed perfectly on the ground. "Show yourself, villain, your vile villainy ends he-" He was then cut off.
"All Might, I'm afraid you're already too late. The villain's already defeated." Death Arms said suddenly as he too was surrounded by his number of fans as well as the other heroes.
"What?! How?! Did you defeat him?!" All Might asked him as he is now too surrounded by his fans and reporters.
"No, someone else did." Kamui Woods said as he's struggling to keep his fans away from him.
"Who?" All Might asked.
"Someone who goes by the name of 'Red Buster', he probably isn't a registered Pro hero because I don't know any Pro hero named Red Buster. He's definitely a vigilante." Kamui Woods explained.
"I see, how did he defeat the villain?" All Might asked.
"Umm... All Might sir, if you want to know I recorded the whole fight." A middle school girl said showing him the fight against the Red Buster and Muscular.
As the video played, the number one hero watched every detail of the fight, from how the Go-Buster arrived, his fight with Muscular, and how he finished off the villain.
"A motorcycle? A sword and laser gun? Those looked advanced for Hero Gadgets." All Might thought, as his old friend David Shield never made anything close to that. "He's also moving and reacted faster then the villain could anticipate. It has to be some kind of speed quirk." That speed he was moving at was similar to Hawks and Edgeshot.
Then he was taken back by the breathtaking speech he heard the vigilante just made to the villain. Never before in his hero career has he heard such a passionate speech from any hero or vigilante. What he sees right now is not some random vigilante looking to gain attention for himself, but a hero. A true hero who would do anything to protect the lives of the innocent and stop a villain at any cost, even if it meant death itself.
But what got All Might's attention the most was how the Red Buster called himself a Super Sentai, a group of heroes he never heard of before. But for some strange reason, All Might couldn't help but feel some kind of powerful meaning behind those two words.
"Super Sentai? Just what is that? He said they were a group of heroes, but I never once heard of them." All Might thought before realizing something. His voice sounded almost familiar like he heard it before.
The Number one hero thought otherwise, his gut tells him that he already met this Red Buster before.
"It can't be could it...?!" All Might thought as he immediately flew in the air and left the area with the intention of finding the Red Buster.
Musutafu Street- Evening
After escaping the police and heroes, the Red Buster and Nick made their way to an alleyway with no witnesses around.
"Okay, that seriously just happened?" Ren asked getting off Nick's motorcycle.
"Oh, it did," Nick said to him. "And you were acting like a true Sentai. I'm proud of you, Ren."
Ren couldn't help but feel good about himself as he not only stopped that villain but saved those people.
"I'm pretty sure everyone's going to be talking about this now and see you as a vigilante." Nick said to him.
"Let's them talk, I don't care," Ren said. "I did what I thought was right and saved some lives. Anyone who disagrees can go screw themselves."
That's right, he was a Super Sentai now. And it's his duty now to protect the people of this planet.
Ren was then cut off when something slammed into his side from behind, making him take a step forward. Looking down the Sentai and his Buddy Roid were surprised at what they saw on the floor.
By Ren's feet was a little girl, no older than 5 years old.
She had white hair, pale skin, red eyes, and a single horn growing out of her head. What was really surprising was what she was warring. She had a white loose hospital gown that reached all the way to her feet, she also had thick bandages around her arms and feet, and she had no shoes on.
This little girl's name was Eri
Alarm bells started to go off like crazy in Ren's head as he looked down at the girl, who looked at him with scared and despite eyes.
Ren reached his hand down with a concerned look on his face. "Are you all ri-" Ren's hand froze when the girl flinched.
"Well, that's not a good sign." Nick thought in concern.
"There she is!" A male voice said.
The little girl froze as Ren and Nick looked up to see four adults in shady outfits exit the ally.
One adult had long wild blond hair that looked like a lion's mane and had a tail behind him, his face also had a giant maw with sharp teeth showing.
Another had a long tongue nearly reaching the floor and had warts all over his face.
The third one had a giant eye for a head but looked like he had a little mouth under it.
The final person was the most normal looking with orange hair and a leather jacket that exposed his arms.
Ren hardened his eyes behind his helmet as he gently grabbed the girl, ignoring her flinch, and pushed her behind him.
"Who are you four?" The Buster demanded in a serious tone.
The four suspicious-looking men gave the Red Buster a surprised look before they all narrowed their eyes.
"We don't want any trouble hero, just hand over the girl." The lion man said, catching Ren off guard before he realized what he meant.
"Hate to break the news to you cat face, but I'm not a hero. I'm some kind of up-and-coming vigilante." Ren said before repeating his question. "And where are you taking her?"
Long tongue growled and glared at the Go-Buster. "We're taking her to where she belongs, Now hand her over or you will be sorry." He said as the four men let their quirks flare but didn't attack.
That was a big mistake. Even if he is outnumbered, a Super Sentai is used to fighting a long number of enemies.
Ren instantly slowly got into a fighting stance. "Little girl," The girl behind Ren turned to him with a shaky look on her face. "Get behind my bike."
Eri quickly ran towards Nick and hid behind him.
Before the villains could even react Ren used his super speed to poke all four of the adult men in their eyes as they were blind.
"What!?"
"My eyes! I can't see!"
"I'm going to blast this kid!"
"Don't, you might hit the girl!"
Ren had already acted as soon as he threw his punches. The Red Buster immediately ran back to them at his normal speed. He bolted towards the figure and slammed his fist into the orange-haired man's jaw before he could even react, making him lose control of his quirk and turning it off. Ren then throws a sharp left hook into the orange hair's liver, making him double over in pain. Finally, Ren shot his knee up into the villain's face and smashed it right into his nose, a satisfying crunch being heard.
"What happens, where's the little piss-ant!" The lion man said as he was still blind.
"Day-Glow, give us some light now!" One of the men said.
Ren followed the closest man as the villain fell to the ground, unconscious. When Ren ran he felt the air shift as he felt something come on at him from the right. Ducking at the last second the Red Buster saw something pink and slimy fly over him.
Acting Ren bolted forward in a blur and saw the side of the warts-covered villain. By the time the villain could react the Red Buster was already too close.
"I see hi-" The villain didn't have to finish his sentence.
Ren then threw a devastating uppercut to the villain's jaw, blood spilling out of his mouth as he bit his big tongue hard, making him scream in pain. Not giving time to recover, Ren slammed his left fist into the villain's temple, knocking him out instantly.
"Toad, where are you!?"
"Fuck this, this so-called hero is roasted!"
Ren went low as the big-eye villain blindly fired a red laser, not caring what he was shooting at.
"Hey! Cut it out!" Nick told him as a laser almost hit him with Eri still hiding back him.
Yet despite this Ren kept moving as he tapped his Transpod.
"TRANSPORT!" A voice from the Transpod announced.
"Damn it, stop firing blindly, you're going to hit the gi-" The lion man was cut off when Ren popped in front of him with the Sougan Blade materializing in his hand. "There you are you little-" The villain was again cut off, but this time when Ren slashes him in the chest. "AAHH!" The lionman roared in pain as he dropped to his knees.
"Bad kitty!" Ren yelled in a cocky voice as he back kicked the lion villain in the neck, making him fall back.
"I got you now!" The large eye man yelled before he fired.
Ren immediately hit a red laser with his Sougan Blade to deflect the blast into the air.
"Did I get him, did I get the little fucker-" The large eye man asked.
The Cyclops was cut off when Ren rushed at him and slammed his fist right into his giant eye. The villain was blown off his feet and instantly knocked out before he hit the ground, a giant swirl in his eye.
Once everyone was down Ren sighed and looked around to see all the villains were knocked out, except for one.
"Wh-who are you?" The lion villain asked as he struggled to his feet.
Ren was quiet for a moment as he thought of the perfect answer. "I am a Super Sentai that shutdown weak trash villains like you!" Ren said in a dramatic deep voice as he posed in front of the villain. "I am the one that fights to protect the people of this planet from evil beings! I am... the Red Buster, leader of the Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters!" Ren yelled out his name as he posed again.
"...Seriously?" The villain said in utter confusion.
"Super Surprise Kick!" The Red Buster shouted as he launched a high kick at the lion man.
The villain growled as he brought out his claws. "Dumb move taking me on in the open without your stupid quir-" The lion man was cut off when Ren stopped the kick at the last second and slashed his blade against the villain's cheat again. "AAAHHH! You said you were throwing a surprise kick!" The villain couldn't help but complain.
"That's the surprise to the KICK! And only a dumbass would fall for such an obvious trick!" Ren shouted at the villain as he launched a high kick right into the villain's jaw, making his head whip back and knocking him out.
Ren sighed as the final villain was knocked out. Turning to the end of the alley the teen saw the little girl stare at him with complete shock on his face as she hid behind Nick's motorcycle. As the teen started to make his way over Eri hid behind his partner with a scared look on her face.
But unknown to Ren there was a fifth villain, who was hiding behind a trash can as he watched all of this with widened eyes. All of his allies were taken out easily by a single vigilante.
"This is bad! I have to report to Overhaul about this!" The fifth villain thought before sneaking away so they didn't notice him.
"Hey, it's okay," Ren said softly as he de-morphed back to his regular clothes and gave her a soft smile. "It's over now, your safe." He said as he crouched down across from her.
The girl hesitantly brought her head out from behind the bike and looked at Ren.
"S-Safe..." Eri said hesitantly.
"Yeah, my partner speaks the truth." Nick said transforming back to his humanoid form.
This made Eri back away in fear of the robot.
"Whoa easy, he isn't going to hurt you. This is my partner." Ren said trying to calm her down.
"Yeah, I'm as harmless as a puppy," Nick said in his defense which made Eri calm down a bit.
"You're not going to hurt me." Eri hesitated to ask.
"A course not. If anything I want to be your friend." Nick said which made her eyes widen.
"Really?" Eri asked.
"Yup, like what Nick said, we aren't going to hurt you." Ren smiled and nodded his head. "But I need to bring you somewhere safer, do you know where you live."
"A white room..." Eri said to him.
So many alarms went off in Ren's head from the girl's one answer. Yet despite everything the teen kept his smile on his face.
"Can I have your name please?" Ren asked slowly.
"...Eri." The girl said softly, bringing her head a little more out.
"Well Eri, I don't know why those men were after but I'll keep you safe from now on," Ren said surprising her.
"D-Do you mean it," Eri asked cutely with her bright red eyes.
"Of course, But I need you to trust me," Ren said handing out his hand.
Eri stared at the hand for a long minute, hesitation all over her face. Slowly the little girl brought her bandage hand up and grabbed Ren's, making him grin.
Then out of nowhere, Ren hugged her with everything he had as this was Eri but first time felt a gentle touch. Eri then started to cry as she wrapped her arms around his waist and cried into his chest, not letting go of Ren for dear life in fear that this was all a dream.
Then, Ren felt a gust of wind behind him which made him and Eri let go of each other. The three turned their heads around a bit and recognized the person in front of them.
"Not even an hour has passed and you already saved another life, even if you did break the law." The person said with a smile on his face.
"No way! That's..." Nick said in utter surprise.
"Well damn, I never imagined I came face to face with the number 1 hero himself," Ren said calmly as he turned around and face the symbol of peace himself.
Eri hid herself behind Ren as she was terrified of meeting new people.
"Greetings Vigilante!" All Might said with flex and vigor. "A nice day, is it not?!"
"Yeah, it is, when there aren't a bunch of blood-crazy villains and kidnappers," Ren replied he was not in the best of moods as he was holding Eri close to him.
An awkward silence later fell over them, as All Might coughed.
"Look, if you are here to arrest me for breaking such a stupid law, I will fight back," Ren said in a dangerous tone as he prepared his Morphin Brace.
"No, I didn't come here to arrest you. I just want to talk?" All Might finally said, dropping his hero's voice.
Ren looked at him, a little confused but nodded.
"Okay, but before that..." Ren said pointing at the unconscious men. "We might need to take care of them first because I got a feeling that they did something to this girl." Ren said as he showed him, Eri clinging on to him tightly.
"Sure, thing." All Might said pulling out his phone to make a call. "I'll just make a quick call to my friend in the police force."
Musutafu Hospital- Night
"Okay... so you have major bruising all over your body, not to mention several broken bones…" The doctor said to her.
Hayami could only hang her head in shame as she heard the doctor list all the injuries that both she and Tatsuo got during that fight against Muscular.
"Honestly, it's a miracle that not one of you has internal bleeding. Forgive me if this sounds crude but it's a good thing this villain enjoyed taking his time. Otherwise, both of them could have had fatal injuries." The doctor said.
"Wonderful…" Tatsuo said as he lay on his hospital bed, covered in casts and bandages. The same goes for Hayami as well, only she was in a full body cast due to damage she received when Muscular tossed her like a ragdoll into a group of civilians.
"Honestly, this whole thing was a big mess from the start." A tired-looking man said as he was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
He is a slender and tall pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially hangs in front of his face and often half-opened black eyes. He is usually recognized for his worn-out appearance, often having a fatigued appearance. His facial hair remains unkempt, and his eyes almost always look tired and flat. He is wearing sports a ragged black outfit that consists of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that tuck into his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his signature wrap scarf around his neck.
His name is Shota Aizawa, also known as the Erasure Hero: Eraser Head.
He had accompanied both of the two Pro-Heros to the hospital to ensure that both of them would be okay after the supermarket incident.
Right next to him was his co-worker and friend since high school.
She was a tall, curvaceous woman with sky-blue eyes, which tilted downwards in the center; framed by a set of rather long eyelashes. She had abundant spiky dark purple hair which was made up of layers of varying lengths, the longest ones reaching down below her waist. Her chin-length bangs were split into three sections; two swept to the sides and one over her face, going diagonally down to the left between her eyes. She also had a small beauty mark below her left eye, as well as red-painted nails. Her hero costume was very similar to one of a traditional dominatrix. She wore a breastless, black leather leotard—similar in style to a corset—over a thin, skin-tight white bodysuit, which accentuated her voluptuous figure. The center strip of her leotard was embellished with red gemstone-like accessories in a vertical pattern, extending from her collar to her midriff. She also wore translucent, black, thigh-high garter stockings, which were attached to a burgundy utility belt decorated with gold studs around her hips, a matching pentagonal buckle in its center, and black knee boots. She had a small red mask outlining her eyes, and a handcuff on each wrist.
Her name is Nemuri Kayama, also known as the R-Rated Hero: Midnight.
She was here in the same room as the rest of the heroes. Though she was simply resting on a comfy chair. The Doctors simply prescribed her pain medicine in order to deal with the soreness that she was feeling.
"It's a miracle you two are even alive, Muscular is no laughing matter. His quirk and lust for violence makes him a dangerous man." Midnight said as she took slow sips from a glass of water and began massaging her aching muscles.
"If I'm being frank here..." Tatsuo began. "Then the worst part of all this is-"
The older man's words came to a halt when a door suddenly opened.
"MOM! DAD!" The voice of a young child who was crying and frightened. His breath came out fast and the sweat on his face was enough to tell everyone that this young child ran here as fast as possible.
He is a small boy. He wears a white collared shirt with buttons, dark shorts, and black boots. He has short, spiky black hair and wears a red hat with two golden, spike-shaped horns on the front.
This young boy was named Kota.
"Kota?!" Hayami asked, who was shocked to see her son here in the hospital. "What are you doing here?"
"Kota, how on earth did you get here?" Tatsuo asked, who was just as shocked as his wife.
"Y-Y-Your okay! I thought I-I thought-" The boy didn't answer his parent's questions. Instead, he simply ran up to them and grabbed both of their hands. His crying and fear slowly began to fade after he felt his parents rub his head.
"It's okay, it's okay Kota. Were okay…" Hayami said, trying her best to calm her son with a soothing voice.
"Kota!" Soon after a new face entered the room.
It was a middle-aged woman with brown eyes and red hair. She was wearing a dress in a very reserved fashion, choosing a knee-length skirt, dark leggings, high-heeled shoes, and a turtleneck sweater with a loose collar.
This was Shino Sosaki also known as Mandalay, leader of the Wild, Wild Pussycats.
"Shino?" Hayami looked at her son and then at the red-headed woman, and then everything clicked. "Shino, what were you thinking bringing him here." She asked her cousin.
"Sorry about that cousin," Shino said sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her head when everyone turned their attention to her. "But when Kota saw the news he kept asking to take him to the hospital. You can't blame a son for being worried after hearing his parents are in critical condition."
The red-headed hero knew how Kota, her second cousin, would react. She didn't blame him, honestly, Shino was scared too when she heard on the news that her cousin was sent to the hospital. She drove here as fast as she could, just to be sure that they were both okay.
"Hello Eraser Head, Midnight." Shino gave a friendly greeting to the two before walking closer to her Kota. "Hey, see? Your mom and dad are okay." She began soothing her younger second cousin. "C'mon now, you have to be strong. For both your mom and dad until they get better."
"Y-Yeah…" Kota's tears soon stopped but he didn't let go of either of his parent's hands. He held on to them, as if he was afraid that if he let them go then his parents would leave forever.
"And now I've scared my son. Honestly, what a poor hero and father I've been today." Tatsuo said in shame. His wife was feeling no different, she too was embarrassed and ashamed over what happened.
"For what it's worth, officially…" Aizawa began saying. "The Water Hose Heroes attempted to subdue Muscular and retreated due to injuries. Then other Pro heroes showed up to finish the job. I've spoken with the chief of police, that is the official statement that the case will be getting." He explained to them.
"We don't want to mention anything about our vigilante friend who came over." Midnight said. "That last thing we need tonight is-"
"Eraser, Midnight… haven't you seen the news?" Both Aizawa and Nemuri shook their heads. They haven't gotten a chance since they've both been busy with everything else. Shino didn't say anything, she simply got the remote turned on the TV, and then scrolled to the news.
The was a female reporter in front of the bank that was now covered in police tape.
"While the official police statement has stated that the Water Hose Heroes along with other Pros were the ones who subdue the villain called Muscular, it appears that we are not getting the whole story." The female reporter said.
"Oh no…" Aizawa said with widened eyes.
"According to eyewitness accounts and video recordings, it appears that the Water Hose Heroes were in danger of losing their lives during the fight. And it wasn't any heroes who saved them or the civilians. Apparently, it was a new vigilante who goes by the name 'Red Buster'."The female reporter said.
A clip of Red Buster was shown with him appearing to save the Water Hoses on his motorcycle and fighting the villain along with the amazing speech he made.
"I refuse to let you hurt anyone else any further. You're a menace to this world, a complete monster without any conscience or empathy, and I refuse to let someone like you continue to hurt even more innocent people just for your own sick twisted pleasure. I'm not weak, because I stand against the abomination of all evil in this world! I am the defender of love, dreams, and peace! I am a Super Sentai! A group of heroes that dedicated themselves to protecting the happiness and smiles of the people in the world! I hold not only my own ideals and hopes but the hopes of everyone behind me! The innocent people of this city, their families, those two heroes, the people of the earth, and everyone else you've hurt in the past or are going to hurt in the future!" The Red Buster said.
The heroes in the room and Kota who heard this were completely stunned by what the vigilante just said. It was inspiring to hear something like this, even if it's from the mouth of a vigilante.
Aizawa who was the first to get over his shock noticed something about the vigilante's voice. It sounds like the voice of a child, someone who was in their teens.
"Just listen to some of the people who were in this horrific crisis." The female reporter said as the scene changed multiple times to different people's reactions to the Red Buster.
The camera cut to an older man who looked half in shock and half in awe.
"It was crazy! Muscular was about to choke the Water Hose Heroes until the Red Buster came in on his motorcycle and saved them at the last second!" The old man said.
The camera cuts to several other people, each with their own story to tell about the vigilante.
"He distracted the villain long enough for us to get to safely." A woman said.
"The villain couldn't he touch him! One minute the Red Buster was there and then the next he was right behind the villain!" A middle school boy said.
"He summoned a sword and laser blaster out of nowhere, and he was like boing and boing!" A middle-aged man said.
"I, um...like his costume…" A shy high school girl said.
"He called himself a Super Sentai! I don't know what that is but it sounds cool!" A pink-skinned skin girl with horns said.
"That speech the Red Buster gave was super manly! I never heard anyone give such a passionate speech before in my life!" A boy with black hair and shaped teeth said.
"Who the hell does this vigilante loser think he is?! He's just some stupid weak extra with a fancy ass suit! I can take him and that stupid villain any day of the week!" An angry blonde-haired boy shouted.
"That vigilante shouldn't have interfered with the work of heroes! It was completely reckless and irresponsible for a non-license hero to do the work of heroes!" A blue hair boy with glasses said.
The camera went back to the female reporter.
"As you can see, the Super Sentai vigilante played a larger role in the saving of the civilians during this dangerous attack. Pro heroes and police arrived on the scene when the battle was over as the Red Buster fled the scene. What this means for Water Hose heroes has yet-" The woman's voice was cut off as Eraser Head turned off the TV in annoyance.
"Wonderful... The whole thing was being recorded." Aizawa said in complete frustration as he ran his hand over his face.
"So much passion... It was such a youthful display... I am absolutely lovely and adorable~! It turned me on so much~!" Midnight yelled with a large flush across her face as she was inspired by the Red Buster.
"Not the time woman!" Aizawa yelled at her in frustration.
While the government of Japan, the police force, and the Pro-Heros all agree that vigilantism is a crime. Should a vigilante ever restrain a criminal then the police force will do their best to give the credit to a licensed hero that might have shown up later on. The reason this was done was to dissuade any person from using their powers in public. In a world where nearly two-thirds of the population have abilities rules must be taken so things don't go out of control.
That includes removing the credit of vigilant acts out of concern that other people might be inspired and try to take the law into their own hands.
"Honestly, this is all my fault," Tatsuo said in shame. "I failed to stop the criminal and put my wife in danger. Now a vigilante is taking the credit." He looked to his wife, and the cast that she was in. It pained him to see the love of his life like that.
"Do not put this all on yourself, Tatsuo," Hayami said to her husband. "We were simply not prepared for this. Our quirks were not suited to stop a villain such as this. Though I must say... To be saved by a vigilante half our age is quite the blow to our pride."
The Water Hose Heroes still had their pride, and that pride was destroyed when a child saved them and put up a better fight against Muscular than they did.
"He saved you guys, the Red Buster?" Shino asked, who was curious about this new vigilante who saved her family.
Kota was as well, wondering about the hero who saved his parents.
Hayami nodded her head. "He did, he just came out of nowhere and blasted Muscular before pulling us to safety with that strange motorcycle of his, and then he stayed there to fight the villain. I was worried, I thought that our incompetence could have gotten a child killed... But I'm glad that he's okay."
"He didn't even try to escape after you guys had left either. He stood his ground against the villain and won." Shino said remembering the fight.
"Yeah..." Tatsuo said to his cousin-in-law. "As that motorcycle of his pulled me and my wife out, we saw him staying behind to try and take him down. A child was risking his life against someone like Muscular just to save us and win... I'm... just glad he is okay as well…"
Shino Sosaki looked at her cousin and cousin-in-law. The look of relief and sadness on Hayami and regret on Tatsuo Izumi made the older redhead ponder on some things.
"And now we have a dangerous vigilante who has the public support backing him." Aizawa said to them. "But what he said got me thinking."
"What do you mean?" Midnight asked in curiosity.
"When he made that speech to the villain, he called himself a 'Super Sentai'. He said that they were a group of heroes who fought to protect the planet. But I never once heard of a group of heroes like that." Aizawa explains.
His question drew odd looks from everyone in the room, except Kota who didn't really understand what was going on.
"Neither have I," Shino said with her hand on her chin. "Super Sentai? Doesn't that translate to the task force?"
"You think there is a group of heroes from the past?" Hayami asked.
"When we Red Buster said he was the leader of the Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters," Tatsuo said
"Go-Busters?" Midnight asked in curiosity.
"Who knows, but either way we need to find this Red Buster and capture him before he hurts himself or someone else," Aizawa said.
Most of the people in the room didn't like the idea of arresting the Red Buster because the kid did save their lives but they were heroes and had to follow the law.
Shie Hassaikai Resident Underground- Night
In a remote area, one man was on his hands and knees, as he was sweating nervously in fear with the figures in front of him.
He is a pale man of narrow build with short, shaggy auburn hair, parted to the right. His eyes are thin, their irises small and gold, with rather long lower eyelashes and small eyebrows. He wears a black dress shirt with matching dress pants, a pale gray tie around his neck, and a belt with a long, thin buckle around his waist, with three beaded lobe piercings in his left ear. Over this, he wears a dark olive-green bomber jacket, its collar lined with thick purple fur and white lace-up sneakers, their soles tan-colored, with no socks on his feet. His most noticeable features are the white surgical gloves he wears on his hands and the magenta plague mask he wears over his mouth, which is tipped and embroidered with gold.
His name was Kai Chisaki, also known as the Villain: Overhaul.
Behind him were various other people in their own costumes.
A slim man with short, light-colored hair that he wears parted with bangs hanging down his forehead. He wears a black cape and a pair of baggy 3/4 pants, as well as a black bowler hat and pale sneakers. He sports a black plague mask.
This made was named Shin Nemoto.
A short man who is usually seen inside a black suit that he possesses with his Quirk as a means to disguise himself. It appears to just be a small black cloak with short legs and arm-like protrusions and a white plague mask, that he wears as part of the Shie Hassaikai, sewn over where his face should be.
This made was named Joi Irinaka also known as Mimic.
A man who is wearing a plague mask, his being black with gold trim and also including circular glasses over his eyes. He can also be distinguished from them by the long white raincoat he wears, the hood kept permanently up.
This made was named Hari Kurono also known as Chronostasis.
"How could you lose her?" Chisaki asked in a calm voice but was releasing a large amount of Killer Intent that had the man pissing himself.
"I-I-It wasn't my fault, some v-vigilante took her!" The underling cried in a desperate voice as he looked at the man in front of him. "H-He had some super speed quirk, he single-handled took out the others in a matter of seconds and his name was Red Buster and-"
"You had one simple job," Chisaki said cutting him off as he rubbed his face. "Bring her from point A to point B, yet somehow you lost her to a no-name vigilante." He then took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I want you to find this 'Red Buster' and bring him to me. With any luck he still has Eri."
"I'll do it! I'll find this guy and get the girl-" The man said as he stopped his sentence when he felt a hand on his head, making him go pale.
"I wasn't talking to you," Chisaki said in a cold tone.
"NOOO, PLEASE DON'T! I'LL DO BETTER! I SWEAR!" The man pleaded for his life.
"I don't forgive idiots that can't do their jobs." Chisaki snapped before activating his quirk
"PLEASE NO FOR- "
*SPLAT*
The man who is begging for his life is disintegrated, as most of the room got colored by the man's blood his upper body is no more.
Chisaki then turned to the other villains behind him as they weren't the less bit faded by what their boss just did.
"Find Eri, and bring this Red Buster to me. I'll show what happens to people who interfere with my plans." Chisaki ordered his men.
"Yes, Overhaul/ Right, boss/ As you wish young master." They all said before leaving to find Eri and the Red Buster.
