Chapter 111: The Wedding Pt. 2
Somewhere inside of a dark underground cavern, Twilight was using her lightsaber to survey the area, but it was too dark for her to see much of anything in what seemed like a vast area surrounded by darkness.
"Hello? Is anyone there? Where am I?" Twilight asked timidly, her voice echoing as she spoke, but there was no reply as she continued to look around the area.
The princess walked into a wall, or more specifically, the side of a large crystal wall that showed her reflection on it. It was then Twilight heard a sinister laughter and nervously looked around to find the source as she took a step back to figure out where she was. It was then her reflection changed into that of Cadance, who looked at the purple Jedi Knight sinisterly.
"The caves beneath Canterlot, once home to greedy nobles who wanted to claim the gems that could be found inside," Cadance explained, "And now, your prison."
Cadance then disappeared from the mirror walls as Twilight fearfully ran off toward a larger rock mirror as Cadance looked at her sinisterly again.
"Help! Help!" Twilight cried out as Cadance laughed at her as she reappeared before the princess in three mirrored walls.
"It's no use," Cadance gloated, "No one can hear you. And no one will ever think to look for you, either. Most people have forgotten that these caves even exist, which is why they are the ideal place to keep the ones who try to interfere with my plans."
Twilight became more afraid and flinched when Cadance's face disappeared again as the princess laughed at her.
"Plans? What plans?" asked the Jedi.
"The plans I have for your brother, of course," Cadance answered. Twilight gasped in shock.
"Don't you dare do anything to my brother, you... you monster!" Twilight yelled angrily as she made her hands glow.
"Only way to stop me is to catch me!" Cadance said amusingly and laughed at Twilight again, "Over here!"
Twilight then saw dozens of images of Cadance from the mirrored walls before they disappeared and Cadance reappeared from another mirror, laughing at Twilight. Twilight became angry, as she gritted her teeth and fired a magic blast from her free hand at the image just as it disappeared and turned into her own. The blast reflected off the mirrored walls; Twilight barely jumped out of the way to avoid being hit.
"Nope, over here!" Cadance taunted as she appeared on the ground beneath Twilight's feet and then in several crystals about the cavern.
Twilight angrily started to destroy each crystal as Cadance continued to taunt her. The girl blasting and slashing with her lightsaber as all around was starting to be reduced to smithereens. Twilight charged her magic at full power before unleashing a massive blast at a nearby crystal wall, shattering it into pieces. Behind the wall was… Cadance and Storm?
However, this Cadance had a messy hair and looked rather battered. Storm was in a similar condition. Twilight glared menacingly at the both of them.
"No! Wait!" Real Cadance shouted as she raised her arms into the air in front of her.
"Woah! Hold your fire!" Storm shouted as he stood in front of the woman.
"Ugh!" Real Cadance and Storm grunted as Twilight tackled them both to the ground. In a tussle that only lasted seconds, Storm was sent flying into a nearby wall and Twilight had Cadance pinned to the floor on her back with her lightsaber aimed at her throat.
"Please! Don't hurt me!" Real Cadance pleaded as she trembled fearfully, "Twilight, it's me! Please, you have to believe me. I've been imprisoned like you. The Cadance who brought you down here was an imposter."
"Likely story!" said Twilight as she glanced at the woman skeptically.
"She's telling the truth," said Storm, who had now recovered, "The Cadance up there is a fake!"
"And why should I believe you!?" Twilight yelled, "You… turned your back on me!" Storm was taken aback.
"I would never do that to you," said Storm gently, "I lov… I'm your partner, Sparky. I give you my solemn word that what that Storm said was not me!" Twilight glared and pouted.
"Look, whatever you plan on doing to Cadance," said Storm, "Do it on me instead!" Twilight paused for a moment, still unsure that either of them was telling the truth.
Storm was running out of options on what he could say to convince Twilight. There was one he could say, he'll, he almost said it a moment ago, but… he managed to stop himself from saying it.
"Storm…" said Real Cadance as he looked at her. She shook her head as she sat up and whispered something to him.
The boy's eyes widen at what Cadance suggested as he had to take a moment to register what she said. The Jedi looked at Twilight who still had her lightsaber out, ready to fight. Seeing the girl in this state, hurt him. So for the sake of convincing her, he had to do what Cadance suggested.
"Alright," said Storm quietly as they both stood before Twilight.
"Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake," Real Cadance and Storm as they both did the dance, "Clap your hands…"
"...and do a little shake," Twilight finished as she sang along with the two.
"You remember me!" said Twilight and then looked at Storm, "and only the real Storm would swallow his pride to do a dance like that for me." Storm blushed shyly as Real Cadance chuckled.
"Of course I do," Real Cadance replied, "How could I forget the girl I love to sit for the most?"
Twilight then jumped into real Cadance's arms as they embraced each other happily. Storm just smiled.
"Hey, get in here!" said Real Cadance as Storm hugged the two close as well.
They soon broke apart as Twilight looked at the boy.
"Is it really you?"
"Yes, Sparky! How many times do I-" Storm said sternly before he was tackled to the ground.
The tussle rolled for a few meters as Twilight was laying directly on top of Storm as she was pressing her chest against his, the boy could feel the princess' bosom against him, but he was more focused on her face.
"It really is you," said the girl based on how he responded to her question.
"Yes, Sparky, it's me," spoke Stormy softly as the girl pressed her forehead against his.
Her hair falling to her side as the two teens gazed into each other's eyes. The look and warmth they felt in each other's hearts as they were in the embrace of the other. The boy sat up, but still held onto the girl as she sat in his lap. His hands firmly held her waist as he stared up at the princess who leaned in closer before putting her hands on the side of his face. Real Cadance looked at the two and squealed excitedly.
"I knew it! I knew it!" muttered Real Cadance like a young teen herself, "I knew those two were totally perfect for each other. SQUEE!" She clapped hands happily at seeing the two in their position. "I knew you would find your Prince Charming, Twilight."
"So tell me, Storm," said Twilight in a trance as her hot breath was felt on the boy's lips to indicate how close she was, "how did you get down here?"
"I went to Shining Armor's place last night to speak with Cadance," said the boy as he was in a trance as well and Twilight felt his hot breath on her lips, "When the door opened, Cadance, who I now know was a fake, answered the door. I asked if I could speak with her and she invited me in. I tried to confront her, but she shot a magic blast at me. It felt like she was trying to take something out of me, but I was able to resist. However, the magic was too strong and I passed out afterward. I guess she figured to just dispose of me because when I woke up I was down here but in a different part of the caverns. It was when I was slashing my way about that I stumbled upon the real Cadance…"
The boy was then interrupted as the three individuals heard sinister laughter above them. Real Cadance looked around until she saw something sparkling in the distance.
"We have to get out of here," said Twilight as she snapped out of the trance she was in and got off of Storm's lap. The girl stood up with a determined look as she stood on a nearby rock, "We have to stop her!"
"You're right, Twi," said Storm, "The wedding is gonna start soon ! We need to find the exit and find it fast!"
The three individuals took off as they made their way down the caverns as more evil laughter was heard.
Back at the castle, which was still under the protection of the force field. The Fake Cadance was preparing for what had now become her wedding day. She couldn't help but sing about how well her master plan was coming along.
[Fake Cadance - She approached her mirror, now wearing her wedding dress as she tucked a rose into her floral crown. She openly mocked the fact that everyone would be admiring her as a dark smile appeared on her face as her eyes glowed a shade of blue and green.]
This day is going to be perfect
The kind of day of which I've dreamed since I was small
Everybody will gather 'round
Say I look lovely in my gown
What they don't know is that I have fooled them all!
[Real Cadance - She ran about the cavern as she was viewed through a large blue gem. She then sat down with her head low as Twilight and Storm looked at her with worry and concern. As she sang, she looked at her reflection from the crystals as Twilight put a hand on shoulder and Storm gave her a soft hug.]
This day was going to be perfect
The kind of day of which I've dreamed since I was small
But instead of having cake
With all my friends to celebrate
My wedding bells, they may not ring for me at all.
[Fake Cadance - She stomped about the room as she admitted to not caring about anything involving the wedding. She then kicked a basket of apples before walking up to a mannequin, tipping the top hat into the air and blasting it into ashes that fell onto the floor. She then stomped the ashes as the room looked up at the ceiling, panning around 360 degrees, and she controls sing boldly while looking herself in the mirror with a single evil eye.]
I could care less about the dress
I won't partake in any cake
Vows, well I'll be lying when I say
That through any kind of weather
I'll want us to be together
The truth is I don't care for him at all
No I do not love the groom
In my heart there is no room
But I still want him to be all mine
[Real Cadance - She stopped running to catch her breath as Twilight and Storm ran past her. As she caught up with the two Jedi, they were both looking around frantically about the caverns. Then the three individuals ran side by side before they found a mine cart that led further down the caverns via a very dangerous track. Storm and Twilight were weary about using it as Cadance ran up to it. The two teens watched as she tried desperately to make the cart move but couldn't make the cart budge and started to cry. Storm and Twilight smiled as they used their Force power to clear away the rocks and then they helped Real Cadance inside of the cart. They then pushed the cart to get it rolling as Real Cadance made a definitive pose before the cart rolled down a long spiral of track.]
We must escape before it's too late
Find a way to save the day
Hope, I'll be lying if I say
"I don't fear that I may lose him
To one who wants to use him
Not care for, love, and cherish him each day"
For I oh so love the groom
All my thoughts he does consume
Oh, Shining Armor, I'll be there very soon
(We now take a brief pause from our featured song to bring you…)
As the three made their way down the track, they then saw the track begin to rise and fall and was broken in various places. Real Cadance and Twilight gasped with worry.
Storm quickly took initiative as he stood on the cart in front of Cadance and lifted both his hands. The boy closed his eyes and began to concentrate. The cart was responding to the boy's command as he was using the Force to control the cart. He then began to make the cart jump over the broken gaps and to different sections of track to keep them from falling into the abyss. The further they went, the shorter and more broken up the tracks became. In fact, some of the tracks had overturned carts on them to make jumping and avoiding a crash very difficult unless you had precise timing . Real Cadance was impressed.
"You're really good at this," she remarked.
"Thank the parkour," said Storm, "I do it regularly with Twilight for exercise and to increase my agility. Anyway, we should be close to the… dead end?!" Their cart the hit a buffer making the three go flying out of the cart.
(End of our small break, now back to our featured song.)
Storm quickly grabbed Twilight and pulled her into his arms while Cadance grabbed ahold of the boy's back and held on. The Jedi making sure he was gonna land safely with the two females holding onto him.
[Fake Cadance - The doors opened as the wedding ceremony was about to begin. The Crusaders, who had been chosen as the flower girls, began spreading the flower petals on the floor as she made her way down the aisle with an evil smile on her face and approached the altar.]
Finally the moment has arrived
For me to be one lucky bride
[Real Cadance - Inside another part of the caverns as they find solid ground, she continues to sing.]
Oh, the wedding we won't make
He'll end up marrying a fake
Shining Armor will be…
"...mine, all mine," said Fake Cadance with an evil laugh as she cut off her real counterpart. Shining Armor could be seen waiting for her at the altar. His green colored eyes and dorky smile were a clear sign he was now under Fake Cadance's evil spell.
The most ironic detail was that nobody took notice of Shining Armor's condition.
By now the royal wedding had begun, the main five were standing to the left of Fake Cadance while Shining Armor had Storm (or Fake Storm to be precise) at his right along with the other guards of security and his groomsmen.
"Ladies and gentlemen," said the minister, "we are gathered here today to witness the union of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and Prince Shining Armor."
Meanwhile, down below in the caverns, Real Cadance, Twilight and Storm were still looking for a way out.
"Oh, we're never going to save him," said Real Cadance as she began to tear up and leaned against what was clearly a blocked up path. Twilight and Storm looked up at her sadly.
"We can't give up," said Storm to Twilight," We have to find a way. We can make it!"
"We will," said Twilight, "We just have to find…" Twilight looked up until she saw a sparkle high above her, "There!"
Storm looked up and smiled as he approached Real Cadance. The Jedi scooped her into his arms as he was carrying her bridal style; he told her to hold on as he bent down and jumped into the air as did Twilight. The pair made it to the higher ledge as Storm set Real Cadance down who thanked him and gave a kiss to his cheek.
Before Storm could react to it, three creepy voices were heard in unison.
"You're not going anywhere!"
The three individuals gasped to see Minuette, Twinkleshine, and Lyra wearing their wedding dresses and donning green eyes and sinister smiles.
"Shit, they've been enchanted!" said Storm as he stood in front Cadance with his arms out to shield her.
Back at the main hall, the wedding was just about to be wrapped up.
"Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor," said the minister proudly as Fake Cadance smiled while Shining Armor looked spaced out and exhausted, "it is my great pleasure to pronounce you-"
"STOP!" someone shouted.
Everyone turned to see Twilight standing at the entrance of the double door. The people began to chatter about, Rainbow and Applejack looked worried, Rarity just face-palmed herself and shook her head, Spike just lowered his head in annoyance, and Fake Storm growled at her.
"Ugh! Why does she have to be so possessive of her brother?" Fake Cadance snorted until everyone was looking at her. She blinked before quickly putting on her sobbing act, "Why does she have to ruin my special day?"
"Oh cry me a river you bitch!" someone retorted boldly, making the crowd gasp as Storm appeared beside Twilight with a stern look on his face. Fake Cadance stopped crying as Fake Storm looked at him menacingly. The main five gasped.
"Wait, how can there be two Storms?" Applejack asked, puzzled.
"Oh! Oh! Oh! If Twilight takes one, can I have the other?" Pinkie asked hopefully until she noticed everyone staring at her and the sound of a cricket chirping could be heard.
"Ah, heh, heh… never mind," said Pinkie sheepishly.
"To answer your question," said another voice, "because it's not your special day! It's mine!"
Twilight and Storm stepped aside for Real Cadance to appear before them. Everyone gasped at the sight, including Fake Cadance who blinked.
"What? But how did you escape my bridesmaids?" Fake Cadance demanded.
Twilight, Storm, and Cadance just smirked as a flashback showed them being cornered by the three enchanted bridesmaids.
"We're gonna to fight them aren't we?" said Storm as he got into a stance.
"That won't be necessary," said Cadance. She picked up her wedding bouquet. The three girls immediately took interest as Cadance toss the bouquet down another cavern path.
"I want it!" the three girls shouted as they went after it.
Twilight and Cadance exchanged smiles as Storm had a confused look on his face.
"Why did they do that?" asked the boy as he had no clue as to what the bouquet meant or why the girls went all predator mode to get it.
"There's no time to explain! Let's go!" said Twilight.
The view was then returned to the present as the three individuals stared down Fake Cadance and Fake Storm.
"Hmph. Clever," Fake Cadance replied as Fake Storm smirked evilly at them, "But you're still too late."
"I-I don't understand. How can there be two of 'em, Princesses and Storms?" asked Applejack.
"Oh for crying out loud!" Fake Storm bellow, "I'm Storm and this is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza! It's as plain as day!"
"No… I'm Storm," said Storm plainly.
"No, I'm Storm," Fake Storm shouted.
"I'm Storm!"
"I'm Storm!"
"So… who's the real Storm?" asked Rarity as the two look a-likes got into each other's face.
"I AM!" they both shouted as they pointed a finger at themselves, "Bullshit!"
"Don't let this imposter fool you!" Fake Storm shouted, "it's as clear as day they're the threat on Canterlot trying to pose as friends and royalty!"
Everyone just looked at them and at each other and murmured to each other. Twilight groaned.
"Look, someone just ask them a question that only the real Storm would know the answer to," said Twilight.
The main five pondered when Rainbow got an idea and raced over to both Storms.
"Listen, I hate to tell you this but…" said Rainbow hesitantly, "Twilight said that she doesn't love you. She will never love you, she doesn't want you as her personal guard, and that she wants to break up this partnership."
Twilight gave a whimper as her bottom lip quivered. Real Cadance wasted no time pulling her close to calm her down. One Storm lowered his head while the other looked indignant.
"Pft! Whatever, there are plenty of fish in the sea," Fake Storm replied before smirking, "Now that I'm available, wanna go out beautiful? YAH!"
Rainbow then pounced the fake Storm to the floor.
"You're the FAKE!" Rainbow yelled, "The real Storm would never abandoned Twilight! Now, who are you?!"
"HISSSS!" the fake Storm hissed menacingly.
"EEEK!" Rainbow shrieked as she rushed to her friends fearfully as the fake Storm rose to his feet.
"She and that fake are changelings," Real Cadance explained, "They take the form of someone you love and gain power by feeding off your love for them."
Fake Cadance and Fake Storm both exchanged looks before they summoned green flames of magic energy around them, causing them to reveal their true forms. The Fake Storm revealed himself to look like a very skinny hybrid of a person and a wasp, but with shades of red on its back and purple wings. (His name would in the future be discovered as Pharynx.) Fake Cadance looked like a large version of a ultra skinny tall woman with insect-like wings and very straight hair with green-blue eyes and fang-like teeth. The black crown on her head showed she was royalty to some degree. The crowd gasped at their original forms.
"Okay… we've never seen Changelings look like that before," said Twilight as she and Storm had their fair share of dealing with these types of species, but not ones that looked so insect-like.
"Never thought I'd ever say this about any girl…" said Storm to nobody in particular, "but she's god damn ugly!" Nobody disagreed as the tall-sized changeling flashed her fangs and laughed wickedly.
"Right you are, Princess," said the queen changeling, "And as queen of the changelings, it is up to me to find food for my subjects. Equis has more love than any place in the galaxy. My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it that we will gain more power than we have ever dreamed of!"
As the queen changeling explained her plan, Cadance and Storm glared as the rest of the people listened in utter horror, especially as the changeling queen got in Cadance's face.
"They'll never get the chance!" Cadance shouted back, "Shining Armor's protection spell will keep them from ever even reaching us!" The queen changeling chuckled.
"Oh, I doubt that," said the changeling as she made her hand glow, "Isn't that right, dear?"
"Mm-hmm," said Shining Armor blankly. Cadance in shock as Storm growled.
"Oh yeah," said Storm as he leaped into the air with his lightsaber turned on and went for an attack, but the changeling swatted the Jedi away, "Oomph!" Storm landed on his back.
"Storm!" shouted Twilight as she raced toward her partner.
"Okay… that didn't work as I expected," said the boy, slightly dazed as Twilight helped him up to his feet. Cadance then tried to make a charge, but the changeling blocked her way.
"Ah, ah, ah. Don't want to go back to the caves, now do you?" The changeling warned as she made her hands glow, making Cadance step back, "Ever since I took your place, I've been feeding off Shining Armor's love for you. Every moment he grows weaker, and so does his spell. Even now, my minions are chipping away at it."
Just outside the barrier, a huge swarm of probably hundreds and even thousands of changelings was charging, swatting, and stomping on the force field, laughing as they did so. The other elite people looked up in horror as the queen changeling laughed.
"He may not be my husband," said the changeling as Twilight and Storm watched her as she walked around Shining Armor, "but he is under my control now." The three gasped.
"And I'm sorry to say, unable to perform his duties," added the changeling.
"Not my Shining Armor!" exclaimed Cadance in desperation as she had an arm reaching out to her lover.
"Soon my changeling army will break through," she continued as she hovered in the air, "First, we take Canterlot. And then… All of Equis!"
"No, you won't!" said Storm.
The changeling turned around to see the Jedi approaching her as he turned on his lightsaber.
"As a Jedi, I won't allow it."
"Then you'll be the first to die!" said the changeling as she thrust her hand out to shoot a magic beam at the boy who tumbled along the floor.
The changeling began to walk toward the boy as she was going to take great pleasure in killing him. Storm got to his knees as he saw the tall woman starting to approach him. He turned on his lightsaber as he looked to fight back. However, a thought soon ran through his head as he recalled something Twilight's father mentioned. In the letter that he sent, he informed the Jedi Knight that one of the reasons why the threat might have been made on Canterlot was that it was the place that housed the Elements of Harmony for safe-keeping. The king mentioned that if whatever threat made it to Canterlot, that he and the girls would need to get to the Elements to ensure they didn't fall into the wrong hands. And given how more powerful this foe was, it seemed like getting the Elements might be the best option.
"Storm!" called out Twilight as she was starting to run toward the queen changeling with her lightsaber out and ready to strike.
"Run!" yelled the boy.
"Huh?" said the princess as she stopped in her tracks.
"I said run!" shouted the Jedi as the changeling stood over him.
"Die!" shouted the tall hybrid woman as she fired magic at point-blank range.
The changeling had fired her magic as it ceased to reveal a smoke circle mark on the floor.
"Move!" said Storm.
The changeling turned her head as she saw that Storm had somehow managed to avoid her attack and was shown running with Twilight.
"We need to get to the Elements!" said the boy as Twilight nodded and the two booked it.
The other girls heard that as Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash tossed off their bridesmaids dresses and then raced out of the room. Rarity, still dressed, caught the dresses before they could hit the ground and was struggling on where to put them.
"Rarity!" shouted her friends.
The marshmallow girl just simply dumped the dresses on the floor and quickly removed her dress before leaving the main room as the queen changeling hovered up to the entrance door, laughing at them.
"You can run, but you can't hide!" taunted the queen.
The teens exited the castle as they were heading toward where the Elements were being held. The Jedi Knights looked up when they ran as they saw the changelings continued to laugh as they bashed against the force field. Parts of the barrier began to crack as it was moments away from shattering.
"On three. Together!" said one of the changelings in charge. "Three!"
The others heard the command by the changeling lieutenant as they did a collective ground pound on top, causing it to finally shatter, making Canterlot rumble as the shield crumbled completely and left it open for the changeling swarm. The changelings wasted no time creating front barriers around their heads as they began to dive at the seven teens.
"Code red! Code red!" Twilight said as she grabbed a guard's nearby radio while running. "Defensive positions, now!"
The whole entire royal army heard the call by the princess on the radio as they saw the enemy coming at them as explosions occurred. Every guard sprung into action as the snipers pulled back their bows and began to snipe at some of the insects traveling through the as they fell and turned into goo. The ones that made it on the floor began to attack the ground soldiers as a huge fight began. The mages used their magic to defend and fight at any of the hybrid insects that tried to strike. Assassins moving at lightning speed and slicing any foes in their way with their daggers and swords.
The lieutenant changeling who had managed to rally the rest of the troops to ground stomp the barrier hovered in the air and looked at the area. Explosions occurred as smoke was rising into the air; he had a smile on his face as he saw some of the soldiers capturing the citizens and overpowering the royal army. He looked in a direction as he saw the teens running as some of the changelings landed by them, causing them to scatter.
"Target found," smiled the changeling as he flew.
So many incoming changelings at once as several more dive bombed at them in quick session. Then one landed in front of Twilight, making her and the rest of the group stop running. The changelings hissed at her menacingly. Twilight was stunned for a moment before she stomped his head, knocking him out, and then the group went on their way. They quickly made their way up some stairs.
"Oh shit!" said Storm as he came to a halt with the girls crashing into him from behind as they formed a line.
The girls then peaked their heads out from behind the person in front of them as they saw what made Storm halt. There before then was a huge swarm of changelings waiting for them and blocking their path to the Elements of Harmony. Both Jedi grabbed their lightsabers as Rainbow and Aj pulled out their blasters. The rest of the group looked worried and concerned, especially Fluttershy.
"Looks we're gonna have to do this the hard way," said Rainbow as she clapped her fist into her right hand.
She then stood before a changeling, and which quickly made itself look like Rainbow and mirrored her for a few seconds before jabbing the real Rainbow Dash, knocking back the chromatic-haired teen as she rubbed her jaw from the punch she received. It was then all the other changelings started changing themselves to look like the seven teens. The girls all gasped.
"How did you…" Rainbow asked in shock.
"They're changelings, remember?" Twilight pointed out.
"They're changelings, remember?" the fake Twilight's repeated to sound just like the princess herself.
"Either way, they ain't so tough," stated Storm.
The fake Storms then thrust their hands out as it caused the Jedi to actually fall to the floor.
"Storm!" said the girls.
"Okay, I take it back. Turns out these changelings actually have the skills and abilities of the person they take the form of," said the boy as this just got a lot harder.
Soon the changelings mimicking Twilight and Storm all have lightsabers appear as they turn them on.
"Don't let them distract you," said Twilight as she and Storm stood side by side with the girls spread out behind the pair, "We have to get to the Elements of Harmony."
"You ready, Sparky?" asked Storm as he turned his head to look at the girl.
"With you, always," stated the princess as she gave the boy a loving smile.
The boy stared at the fake copies of them menacingly. Twilight then squatted down as did the others before they pounced into the air, ready to rumble. The changelings mimicked their poses, but showed much more aggressive faces. They then made contact with each other as dust clouds filled the air.
The battle had begun!
(Cue battle music)
Two flashes showed that Pinkie and Applejack had been struck and had taken damage. Storm began to scan and targeted multiple changelings at once before slicing at them and using the Force to knock them back.
The boy managed to use his hand-to-hand combat skills, his with and other senses to trick several changelings into attacking him to become the main focus. Some missed him completely and fell on their faces, others he managed to use their momentum against them. Even with the ones that used their fake lightsabers against the boy, no one could touch the Jedi.
Twilight then attacked a fake Applejack with a magic blast of her own as she slashed at another changeling coming at her. Fluttershy was soon overwhelmed when several fake Fluttershys approached her from the side. Fluttershy panicked for a moment before she made an aggressive face and commanded the other's elsewhere. The fake Fluttershys just looked at each other and ran off. Fluttershy then ran off in the other direction until she found herself surrounded by four fake Rainbows. They growled at her, making Fluttershy cower down in fear. Then the real Rainbow appeared and punched the fakes away. She then helped Fluttershy to her feet as the buttercup girl stood beside her.
Elsewhere, Storm found himself being surrounded by a couple dozen changelings despite getting rid of so many on his own. The boy growled as he found them closing in on him. The fakes went to pounce on him, but they were surprised to see that Storm jumped high into the air as they were in a dog… err… changeling pile.
The boy came down as he had his hand out.
SLAM!
The impact sent the entire pile of changelings flying as Storm smirked triumphantly. It was then Twilight and Applejack found themselves being pushed back to back against the other as some fakes surrounded them. Applejack growled at the other fakes, but then was shocked to see the Twilight behind her was fake as it revealed it's true form.
"Okay, this is just gettin' weird," Applejack remarked as the changelings tackled her to the ground.
Close by, the real Twilight pinned down a fake version of herself and used her hand to make the changeling reveal its true form and left it dazed. She then got up and turned around as she ran her lightsaber through several others coming at her as they fell upon impact. The princess then saw poor Applejack being buried alive by the fake Applejacks. Twilight then magic blasted them off one by one before picking up the real Applejack at the bottom in her Force grip.
"Real me! Real me!" Applejack called out as Twilight was about to strike her with her lightsaber.
"How do I know?" said the princess.
"What if I told you I don't mind Storm touching mah breasts?" said the farm girl as Twilight blinked before setting her childhood friend to her feet.
The country gal was thankful that Twilight believed her as the princess was a bit jealous at hearing her friend say she enjoyed Storm touching her chest. Aj ran as she began blasting at the changelings.
"Found you," said the changeling lieutenant as he spied one of his targets and landed.
Twilight continued to blast and slice her lightsaber as she spun it in her hand and twirled back. She then came face to face with herself as the fake delivered a roundhouse kick to her chest. The girl dragged along the floor as she glanced up to see the fake approaching her, the changeling then transformed as he now took on the form of an assassin royal guard as he pulled out some daggers and held them backward. The fake assassin rushed forward as he tried to slice at the girl who was backstepping as they looked to be dancing.
The assassin brought his daggers down as Twilight blocked with her lightsaber as sparks flew upon contact. The fake was towering the girl as Twilight tried to hold on. She managed to push the addy back and quickly went for a stab as he leaped backward high into the air as he did several full rotations of his body before landing and getting some distance between them. The assassin pushed off and ran as Twilight did the same. Both rushing to attack as Twilight then did Storm's signature parkour corkscrew as she effortlessly avoided the assassin and landed perfectly.
"That's my girl!" said Storm as he stabbed his lightsaber backward to kill a changeling as he saw Twilight execute the move they practiced perfectly.
"Hee-hee, he called me his girl!" said Twilight as she blushed hearing Storm say that.
The girl was so distracted as the assassin went for an attack from the side as the only thing to save Twilight was her Jedi senses as they went off. The girl turned as the assassin's blade was in her face, in slow motion, Twilight's body moved so quickly as she leaned way back as the dagger sliced a strand of her hair that would have been her face had she not reacted.
Turn resumed as the assassin zipped past Twilight with the girl continuing to lean back so that she could do a handstand to get to her feet.
"Okay, don't let Storm calling you his girl distract you," muttered Twilight to herself as she had to focus and not let the boy she had feelings for get herself killed against a powerful foe.
The assassin licked the tip of his blade as he tasted the small strands of the girl's hand he clipped off. The Jedi Knight took an offensive stance with her lightsaber out.
"Nice to see you again… Princess Twilight," stated the fake assassin.
"Again?" said the girl with a raised eyebrow.
The changeling snapped his fingers as it showed Twilight looking at her foe. He transformed as what the princess saw made her gasp. Standing before her was… Peppermint?! No, that was his name when he was in that form, she recalled what he told her back then at what his real name was.
"Thorax?" stated the girl as she was then tackled by other changelings as a dust cloud formed to signal the tussle.
Thorax smirked as he changed back into his true form as he turned and walked.
Pinkie was standing before a changeling as it shifted from Rarity, to Rainbow, and then to Fluttershy.
"Do me! Do me!" giggled the party girl. The fake Fluttershy rolled her eyes before it changed into her and smiled.
"Meh, I've seen better," said Pinkie unamused as she began to throw some cupcakes at her foe, which triggered her power to make anything she threw explode. The girl then pulled out her party cannon as she began to rapidly pull the string as it began to machine gun fire all the changelings in a line, mowing them down.
"Say hello to my little friend!" giggled Pinkie as she continued the massacre of firing at her foes. "Storm! Double Team!"
"On it!" said the Jedi as he lifted Pinkie and chucked her like a lawn dart forward.
The party teen giggled before she somehow managed to turn into a pink ball and was bouncing between the changelings as she ricocheted all over the place, bouncing here and there and everywhere. Soon she rolled into a large group of changelings as a bowling sound was heard and a strike was announced.
"I'm not gonna question it," said the boy as he knew for his mental sake to just let Pinkie be Pinkie.
The boy then Force pushed several more changelings as they went flying. He turned around as he stopped in his tracks as he came face to face with someone. Thorax had found Storm as he was now in the form of someone that was near and dear to the Jedi Knight.
"Padawan! It is time for instruction," said Thorax in Luna's voice.
Storm put the fact that it wasn't actually Luna he was fighting as he growled and got into a stance. The fake Luna turned on her lightsaber as Storm yelled and charged at her. He jumped and went for a slash as the fake version of his master blocked it.
"You are weak!" stated the fake Luna as it genuinely sounded like Luna when she criticized him on his training.
The fake Luna thrust her hand out to make Storm fly back as he landed on his feet.
"Show me your strength!" called out the fake Luna.
Storm rushed again as the fake Luna blocked his attacks before flinging off his latest attack like it was nothing.
"Your will is weak! You lack discipline!" stated the fake Luna, sounding more and more like the real thing.
Storm tapped into his Jedi powers as he moved in a blur to get a quick attack in as the fake Luna stayed calmed and blocked it before spinning back.
"Your fear rules you! As always!" said the fake Jedi Master.
Storm once again attacked at the fake Luna as he was transitioning his lightsaber between his hand as he stepped forward and even around his body. The fake Luna defended the attacks as she ducked and leaned out of the way of the ones she couldn't block. Storm spun and was coming for a surprise lunge as it was blocked, but the person he was now looking eye to eye wasn't Luna, but Anakin.
The boy gasped as Thorax had seemed to look into Storm's memories and was now taking the form of some of his closest friends and allies. The fake Anakin kicked Storm in the chest as he stumbled back. The Jedi was then forced to be on the defensive as the fake Anakin came at him with lightning fast attacks. Storm was doing his best to keep up, but he was slowly getting overwhelmed. He then dove forward as he jumped over a sweeping attack coming at him.
The boy rolled through as he turned and was no longer facing Anakin, but Obi-wan. Storm cursed to himself before the fake Obi-wan lunged at him as the two held in place and had their weapons hum. A test of strength was happening as the fake Obi-wan was starting to push Storm back; Storm felt himself losing the struggle as he acted fast and thrust his hand out to send the fake Obi-wan tumbling to the floor.
He looked and when Thorax rolled through onto a knee, he had transformed and taken the form of Ashoka. The fake padawan turned on her main lightsaber and shoto lightsaber as she leaped into the air. Storm did the same as both were moments from colliding as they clashed and held in place for a moment with their faces close to one another.
They pushed off and did a backflip as they landed. The fake Ashoka then raced forward as she had her lightsabers dragging behind her as they left a trail in the ground. In a quick sequence of moves to follow: the fake Ashoke went for a swing with her left lightsaber as Storm blocked it and then ducked a millisecond later from Ashoka's right blade. The boy popped up to block an overhead strike, pushed it back and turned his hand upside down to angle the blade to block the attack from the side. Then quickly leaped over the fake Padawan as she went for a double lunge.
Storm landed as he turned just in time to block a blindside attack from the fake Ashoka. He stood up while fending her off and then stepped to the side to avoid a stab by the girl as he got a hold of her left hand. He applied pressure as it got the fake Ashoka to drop her lightsaber as Storm raised her arm to look at her. She then kicked flipped out of his grip as the tip of her boot made contact with Storm's face as he stumbled.
She landed as Storm shook off the kick and looked to see that the fake Ashoka was gone and replaced by a now fake Master Yoda. The small fake Jedi moved in the blink of an eye as Storm barely stopped the blade from cutting his face. The small fake Jedi Master wa snow moving and jumping in the air around Storm as he was managing to defend every single attack. He went for an angled stab as the fake Jedi Master stopped spinning and aimed his lightsaber up to block it. He then thrust his hand out as Storm was sent flying and tumbled through the dirt. He came to a stop as he grunted and panted. Storm saw the fake Master Yoda approach him.
"Such vexing arrogance for one so small," spoke Thorax as his voice changed from sounding like Master Yoda's to Storm as the changeling transformed into him as he walked.
The Jedi Knight turned onto his back as he saw Thorax in a version of him approaching with a lightsaber pointed outward at him.
"You cannot hope to win so bound in flesh," said Thorax as he stood over Storm with the hum of the lightsaber close to his face. "Pitiful!"
Thorax then raised the lightsaber up as he was looking to bring it down on the Jedi. Storm quickly reacted as he lifted his right foot and it collided with Thorax's crouch area as the look on the changeling's face said it all. Before Thorax could wince in pain, Storm stuck his hand out and threw the changeling over him as he sailed far into the distance before colliding with a building. The boy turned to get on his hands and knees and he breathed heavily.
"Kick in the balls… works everytime," said the teen as he got up and clutched his side for a moment before turning and taking off to help the girls.
The combat seemed to repeat a pattern, Rainbow punched a changeling, Applejack bucking one, Fluttershy made one trip over her, Storm sweep kicked one, Rarity punched one, Twilight blasting one, and Pinkie fired her party cannon at one. This repeated over and over several times before.
SMACK!
Several changelings went flying away from the group of seven as they made a dynamic pose with Storm and Twilight shown having their hands out to indicate they collectively used the Force to throw their foes back with their combined power.
The battle was over.
The seven teens stood on guard for a few seconds to catch their breath as they saw the rest of the swarm had been knocked out. It wasn't long before they saw reinforcements on their way.
"Come on!" said the Jedi Knights to their friends as they headed toward the building where the Elements of Harmony were kept as the air changelings gained ground on them quickly.
Storm turned around to throw his lightsaber at the closest ones to give the group the time they needed to get away. Twilight didn't wait for Storm as she ran ahead of him and used her magic to open the door. The seven teens were given the shock of their lives when they found another swarm of changelings waiting for them. The group took a step back as the flying swarm landed to surround the teens on both sides. They exchanged worried looks between each other as Storm growled.
The boy tapped into his feelings and powers as he thrust both of his arms out in each direction as a huge Force wave was starting to push the changelings back as they were struggling to hold on.
"Go now!" shouted Storm to the girls.
"No!" yelled Twilight, "Storm, I'm not letting you fight them alone!"
"I said GO!" yelled the boy as he could feel his power starting to fade.
One of the changelings stepped forward as he changed into the Battlemaster class guard of the royal army. He twirled his metal chain before launching it as it wrapped around Storm's right hand. The boy felt it bind his limb as the Battlemaster sent a jolt of electricity through the chain and to the Jedi as he was starting to shock him.
"Ahh!" screamed Storm as he felt it.
"Storm!" shouted the girls.
Another changeling transformed into the same class and a threw another chain as it was heading straight for Fluttershy. The girl saw it coming as she froze in fear; just as it was about to make contact, Storm appeared in front of her as he let the chain wrap around his free hand. Another jolt of electricity flowed through as the boy winced in pain.
The girls screamed at their friends as the ones behind began to march forward. Storm saw the girls in danger as he yelled through the pain and began to pull the chains toward him as the changelings on the other end went flying. The Jedi was now swinging the chains all around him, taking some out that came close. Soon more chains were thrown as they wrapped around the boy and shocked him some more in an attempt to slow down this raging bull.
Storm get immense pain at the amount of electricity he was feeling, but he fought through it and continued to fight by swinging while his whole body had electricity surrounding him. Soon the voltage was cranked up as the Jedi let out a blood curdling shriek to the heavens as his shadow was shown. Steam and smoke was rising from it as if he was a piece of meat; the Jedi fell to his knees as he was still moving before a changeling kicked him onto his back and he fell unconscious.
"Storm!" shouted out Twilight as she wanted to rush and check on her partner.
The girls gasped as they soon saw the remaining changelings surround them as some of them were starting to drag the boy away. A changeling transformed into a Battlemaster as he spun his chain before throwing it as everything faded to black.
Back in the castle, the queen changeling was pacing along the room. Poor Cadance had been bound to her hands by some sort of green ooze.
"You won't get away with this!" shouted Cadance, "Storm, Twilight and their friends will–"
Cadance was cut off when the doors opened showing that the teens had been captured and brought back to the main room. Storm was awake as he and Rainbow had tried to make a break for it as the two changelings had them wrapped around in chains while holding them in the air.
"You were saying?" bragged the queen, "You do realize the reception's been canceled, don't you? Go! Feed!"
The remaining changelings then flew off to feed. Those holding Storm and Rainbow were dropped to the floor. Another handed the queen Aj and Dash's blasters as well as the Storm and Twilight's lightsabers.
"You won't be needing these anymore!" said the queen as she made the weapons disappear.
The girls gasped as Storm growled in irritation at the queen changeling. She walked smugly up to Twilight, laughing evilly as she approached.
"It's funny, really. Twilight here was suspicious of my behavior all along. Too bad the rest of you were too caught up in your wedding planning to realize those suspicions were correct!"
Twilight just looked sad. She knew she had been right, even called out her friends about being too caught up in the wedding plans. However she didn't feel like saying "I told you so" to anyone.
"Sorry, Twi," said Applejack on behalf of the rest of the group, "We should've listened to you."
"It's not your fault. If I hadn't been so angry and bitter, you would have taken my concerns more seriously. Besides, she fooled everyone." stated the princess.
"Hmm, I did, didn't I?" The queen changeling said in agreement with a smug smile on her face. "Though, I'm surprised princess that you didn't remember me."
The queen then snapped her fingers as she transformed into her disguise when she and Twilight first met as the girl gasped.
"Chrysalis," stated the princess, revealing the name of the queen as she transformed back.
Chrysalis was now walking toward an open window and looked outside. Soon some singing began.

Chrysalis laughed evilly as she watched the chaos unfold. As her back was turned, Twilight made her move and crawled over to Cadance.
"Quick!" said Twilight, "Go to him while you still have the chance!"
Twilight then fired her magic blast at the green goo, dissolving it so Cadance could head over to Shining Armor as Twilight watched to see when or if Chrysalis would turn around. Cadance looked up at her still enchanted husband-to-be. She hugged him tenderly as tears fell from her eyes.
"I love you," muttered Cadance.
It was then her hands flowed and produced a heart. The other seven individuals gasped quietly as the heart appeared before Shining Armor's face and snapped him back to reality.
"Wha– where... huh?" Shining Armor mumbled as he shook his head, "Is...is the wedding over?"
Cadance smiled as did the rest of the seven teenagers, but then Chrysalis appeared between the couple and teens with a devious smile on her face.
"It's all over!" Chrysalis bragged.
The others watched Chrysalis with worried looks. They were then given the shock of their lives when Storm was suddenly picked up into the air by a green magic glow.
"Put him down!" Twilight demanded.
"You heard her! Put me down you oversized parasite!" Storm yelled as Chrysalis licked her lips with satisfaction.
"Shining Armor's love has made me powerful," Chrysalis said evilly, "But you have more love than I've ever sensed in any one in all of Equis. Once that love is mine, I'll be more powerful than I am now!"
Storm glared as Chrysalis tried to extract the love from the Jedi… only to find that her efforts were futile as she took a step back in exhaustion after a few seconds of intense concentration.
"So, you still resist me, huh?" stated Chrysalis, emphasizing she had tried to extract Storm's love once already and had failed.
"I'm a Jedi. I don't break easily," responded the boy.
"Or… you must love someone very strongly to want to hold onto it so badly."
"Maybe…" Storm replied smugly, not giving the queen any satisfaction.
"Well, then tell me, Storm," said Chrysalis with a smile that sent chills down his spine, "do they love you in return?"
Storm didn't answer as he tried to keep his poker face.
"Ah, so you don't know if they love you back," said Chrysalis.
Storm started to feel some self-doubt settling in his mind as he was having a harder time keeping his face composed. Twilight bit her lip and began to sweat heavily.
"But you don't know for sure," Chrysalis replied in a subtle tone, "you're not even sure they love you back, do you?"
Storm said nothing but Chrysalis used her magic to extract the love from Storm again. This time, a lime glow appeared from his chest. Storm fought hard to resist, but he could feel his grip on his love weakening. Twilight was quivering and panicking.
"What's the point in resisting, Jedi?" said Chrysalis in a sweet tone that was downright sinister, "Your love would have worked out. You are a Jedi. And if she did love you back…"
"…She was too late in telling you!"
Twilight's eyes shrunk as Chrysalis' words echoed in her head as the changeling queen laughed.

Twilight then had a vision of her dream from last night when she watched Storm fall into the void and was helpless to save him.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Twilight screamed loudly at the top of her lungs that the girls, Cadance, Shining Armor, and Chrysalis stopped to look at her as Storm was unconscious. Twilight sobbed as hot tears streamed down her face.
"No! It's not too late!" Twilight shouted, her tone broke as she said inaudibly, "I… love him…"
"What?" said everyone minus Cadance and Rarity who smiled since they all knew the truth, as Twilight choked a sob before giving Chrysalis a fierce glare as she stomped her foot hard on the floor.
"I'm in love with Storm!" Twilight declared boldly and loudly.
The girl then ran as she leaped and tackled her partner out of the air as they tumbled to the floor. The boy was still out as Twilight was holding on and hugging the Jedi as hard as she could. His body gave off a bright pink light as something inside of him glowed. Storm's Element appeared as the bracelet formed on his wrist. Chrysalis backed away as if she had just gotten burnt and was left stunned. The pink glow surrounded Storm as the boy was starting to stir.
"Twilight… what happened," said the boy as he was starting to come to and blinked to regain his vision, "I must have passed out… OOF!" Storm was cut off when Twilight glimpsed him into a tight hug.
He's mine! MINE! MINE! said Twilight in her mind as she had tear filled eyes, and I'll NEVER let anyone take him from me!
It was then Chrysalis recovered and started laughing evilly.
"Perfect! Perfect!" she remarked excitedly, "It has grown stronger! I'll be invincible! Practically immortal! Once I have that love all for myself!"
"I don't think so, bitch!" said Storm with determination as she stood up with Twilight.
The boy stuck his hand out as his pendant glowed before materializing his lightsaber as he took a stance.
"Impossible," said Chrysalis as she was shocked to see the boy recall his weapon after she got rid of it.
The Jedi ran as his bracelet began to glow. Chrysalis fired some magic orbs at Storm as he brought his lightsaber and sliced through them. They split into two as they exploded behind the boy who kept on running. Chrysalis kept on firing her magic as Storm dodged and leaped over them as he was closing in the distance.
The boy kept low to the ground as he stuck his hand out while tapping into his Element's power. Chrysalis felt the Jedi trying to push her back as she used her magic to dig into the ground to keep her in place. However, that's what Storm expected as he jumped into the air in front of the changeling queen and was being his weapon down. Chrysalis made a small magic shield appear on her arm that she was using to protect herself as Storm's lightsaber came down on it and smashed it to pieces. The queen gasping at how her magic crumbled under the boy's power; Storm then spun around as he did an upward slash as Chrysalis felt it and let out a painful cry as she stumbled.
"You… can't… stop… me…" said the changeling queen as she was still on her feet and glared at the boy for landing a hit on her.
"Your spell!" Twilight called out to her brother, "Perform your spell!"
Chrysalis recovered and laughed.
"What good would that do?" the changeling queen boasted, "My changelings already roam free."
Twilight growled menacingly as Storm looked to be ready for another fight. Shining Armor knew he had to act fast as he tried to make his hands glow, but it was no good.
"No! My power is useless now," said Shining Armor wearily, "I don't have the strength to repel them."
"My love will give you strength," said Cadance sweetly as she hugged him close with their foreheads touching and eyes closed. Chrysalis laughed.
"What a lovely but absolutely ridiculous sentiment," the changeling queen remarked.
A heart with a gold crown on top of it appeared, it floated above Shining Armor and Cadance, before coming in contact with their heads , which were already creating a spark and a bright light above them. The love magic empowered them both, surrounding them inside of a barrier. The seven teens gasped in surprise.
Cadance and Shining Armor noticed the barrier before touching their foreheads together once again. The teenagers watched in awe, some turning away because the light was so intense. Chrysalis watched in shock as the magic surrounding them intensified, causing the room to rumble as the couple opened their eyes. Their eyes were now glowing white as the light encased the couple and lifted them into the air. The silhouettes could be seen as their floating bodies shaped into two halves of a heart. It was then a massive wave of magic harmlessly went past them, though they did get pushed back a little from how intense the magic was. Chrysalis gasped in horror as the wave came at her.
"Noooooo!" screamed the changeling queen as she was literally blown right out of the castle. As the magical wave continued to expand in a spherical shape, all the changelings were swept away and right out of Canterlot. Chrysalis and the swarm all screamed as they were flung far away from Canterlot and into the distance.
Once the magic had settled down, Cadance and Shining Armor came floating back. They smiled at each other before sharing a loving embrace.
The train was pulling into the Canterlot station as the doors opened to reveal Night Light and Velvet as they saw their kids.
"We came as soon as we got your message. Is everything okay?" asked Night Light.
"Yeah… for the most part," said Shining Armor as he shot a glance in the direction of the city as a some buildings were destroyed during the invasion.
"Oh, my sweet babies, are you okay?" asked Velvet as she began to touch her children's face and see if they had any marks.
"We're fine, Mom!" stated Spike as she swatted his mother's hand away.
"Everything turned out alright. Thanks to Twilight," said Shining Armor as he looked at his little sister and put his arm around her shoulder.
"Thanks, BBBFF," stated the girl.
"Anytime, LSBFF," replied Shining Armor as Twilight hugged him.
Shining Armor wrapped his arms around her to return the embrace as Velvet and Night Light smiled at seeing their kids squash the issues they had earlier. Soon they and Spike join as they shared one big happy family hug. Watching them was Cadance and the girls as they all smiled at seeing the royal family together and happy. Storm was a few meters away from Cadance and the girls as he leaned against the ticket booth with his hands behind his head. The Jedi had a smile.
"Now then, don't we have a real wedding to put together?" said Velvet to her family and Twilight's friends.
Later on, Cadance was in the kitchen as Applejack finished making more of her apple treats. Cadance eagerly picked one up and ate it, licking her lips afterwards, and getting a second one to eat. Storm chuckled as Twilight checked the catering off the list. Rarity, her frazzled hair showing she had worked overtime to create a brand new bride's dress, pulling the mirror so that Cadance could see how she looked in it. A wide and happy smile on the woman's face showed that Cadance was more than pleased. Storm clapped as Twilight marked the dresses off her checklist. Cadance then let all the birds perch on her as Fluttershy conducted them to sing for her. Storm laughed as Twilight checked off the music on her checklist. At the reception hall, Cadance and Pinkie were dancing together. The Jedi knights smiled as the princess checked off the reception off the list and rolled up the paper. They then shared a fist bump before Twilight hugged Storm happily, which the boy returned with a smile.
The wedding, and this time the real wedding, was ready to begin. The crowds were now back inside the main hall. Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, and Applejack were at the altar since Cadance had decided to keep them as her bridesmaids along with Fluttershy. The animal-loving girl was with her bird choir, ready to play the bridal chorus. Shining Armor was now standing at the altar with Twilight being next to him dressed in formal attire. The girl noticed that her brother's emblem was crooked and went to fix it for him, which he gave her a smile in return. Velvet and Night Light were watching them as the former was already crying.
Fluttershy began to conduct her birds as they whistled the Bridal Chorus. The two guards opened the doors as, once again, the Crusaders came hopping down spreading flower petals with Cadance walking right behind them. Her new dress consisted of a white veil and yellow rose floral crown with the wedding veil attached to it. The dress itself had a large yellow rose brooch, a blue and yellow trimmed top with a long double layered skirt that had gold trimming on the shorter layer as well as a giant pink bow in the back of her skirt. Five birds were holding the extra long back of the dress skirt as she made her way down the aisle. Everyone smiled as they watched Cadance approach the altar.
Cadance arrived at the altar with the Crusaders standing at the side. Rarity started to tear up as she grabbed a tissue to carefully wipe her eyes. Applejack then went to see if she could get her stents on hat to stay on her head despite already wearing a floral crown like the rest of the girls. Shining Armor and Cadance exchanged smiles with each other before the minister began to speak.
"Ladies and gentlemen," said the minister, "we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of the real Princess Mi Amore Cadenza–"
"Princess Cadance is fine," said the pink woman.
"Hm. The union of Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor," continued the pastor, "The strength of their commitment is clear. The power of their love, undeniable. May we have the rings please?"
Spike then held out a pillow with a pair of wedding rings on it. The rings were placed onto their fingers.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife!" said the minister and everyone cheered as the newlyweds their way out of the main hall and onto the balcony where thousands of people were cheering for them down below as streamers and confetti fell from the sky. Shining Armor and Cadance waved at the crowds as the girls watched from behind.
Storm was shown on the balcony in the main hall as he had kept himself out of sight and wanted to let Twilight have this happy moment with her family and friends. The boy had a smile on his face at seeing the newlyweds.
"Learning to trust your instincts is a valuable lesson," muttered the boy.
It was then the newlyweds shared a quick kiss followed by a nice long one, making Twilight have a tasty smile as the rest of her friends cheered for them.
"Best… wedding… ever!" Rainbow shouted excitedly.
Later that night, the party was in full swing. Soon it came time for some songs and dancing as on a nearby stage, someone was walking out as he was anything but happy.
"Can't believe I'm doing this shit," stated Storm as he came to a stool and looked out to the crowd before him.
"Okay, before I start, let me make things clear! I did not agree to this and I'm being forced to do this against my own free will! So I hope you people appreciate what I'm about to do!" stated Storm as Cadance smiled, knowing the teen was going to complete her request. "The things Cadance makes me do."
The boy muttered that last part as he took a seat on the stool. The Jedi had Aj's guitar as the girl allowed him to use it for his song. Storm strummed the chords as everyone prepared to listen.

The song ended as Storm immediately jumped off the stage, not waiting for the audience to clap. They did applaud the boy as they enjoyed the song as Storm shoved the guitar back into Aj's possession and leaned against the wall, as he try to forget about embarrassing himself.
Sometime later, Cadance and Shining Armor were sharing a loving embrace and dancing together to an orchestrated version of song "Love is in Bloom". Twilight had approached Storm who simply watched the festivities from afar.
"Hey."
"Hey."
The two glanced at each other.
"You look beautiful," said Storm as he saw Twilight's dress.
"Thanks, you look… nice as well," chuckled the princess nervously as Storm had remained in his regular outfit all day as he refused to wear any proper formal wear.
"Look, Storm. I just want to say, that I… I… I lo- I love… having you here with me. I'm… happy to share this moment with my partner." said Twilight as she didn't get to say what she actually wanted to say.
"O-Kay? That's a weird thing to say, Sparky," said the boy, unaware of what Twilight was trying to confess to him.
The pair then their gazes to see Cadance and Shining Armor continue to dance as they smiled.
"What a way to end this day," said Storm.
"Who says it has to end just yet?" said Twilight as Pinkie quickly appeared next to her as the princess nodded.
Pinkie gave an excited squee before zooming to the DJ turntable with large speakers on both sides.
"Let's get this party started!" said Pinkie as she pulled up Vinyl Scratch as she had been called to perform for the wedding. The white girl with blue hair placed a record onto the turntable. Once the music started, Pinkie tossed a mini-mike to Twilight who caught it in her hand to sing.
[Twilight - She stood nearby and sang to the newlyweds as she did some light dance steps while confetti and streamers fell from above. The newlyweds smiled at Twilight and then at each other.]

[Twilight - as the girls gathered around, they began bopping to the music. Twilight swayed from side to side as she kept on singing, Cadance and Shining Armor began to dance, with Shining Armor even dipping his new wife.]

As the music continued, pictures were taken. One featured Pinkie stuffing her face with wedding cake. Another featured Applejack playing a fiddle with some of her relatives that came to help her in the kitchen. Another was Sweetie Belle and Spike dancing together. Another of Rarity with Fancy Pants.
It was late that night as Shining Armor and Cadance made their way towards the carriage. Twilight and Storm knelt before them they opened the door for the newlywed couple to head inside.
"Storm," said Cadance.
"Yeah?" Storm asked as she gave him a warm smile.
"Thank you," said the woman.
"My pleasure, princess," said the Jedi Knight as he bowed to show Cadance respect. She just grabbed the boy and pulled him in for a hug as she kissed his head.
"Best of luck to both you and Twilight," muttered Cadance to herself as she lifted her head to look at the boy she was hugging. They let go as she winked at him before entering with his help.
Shining Armor then stopped.
"Twilight!" he called out, "None of this would've been possible without you, little sis. Love ya, Twily."
"Love you too, B.B.B.F.F.," replied Twilight softly as they shared a hug.
Shining Armor then turned to address Storm.
"You've proven yourself, Jedi. You take good care of my little sister, you hear?" asked the prince, "I know she's in good hands." Twilight just smiled as Storm nodded.
"Yes, sir," said Storm.
"That's big brother to you," said Shining Armor, "Trust me. It's gonna be your turn for all of this before you know it."
"Huh?" said Storm.
Shining Armor gave a wink, causing Twilight to blush as Storm had a confused look on his face. Shining Armor chuckled to himself as he sat inside of the carriage. The boy was oblivious to what Shining Armor was saying, but the bottom line was that the Jedi had finally earned the prince's respect and his blessing.
"Ready to go?" Shining Armor asked his new wife.
"Oh! Almost forgot," said Cadance as she leaned out of the carriage and tossed her wedding bouquet.
Minuette, Twinkleshine, and Lyra looked excited before a certain marshmallow girl shoved them all out of the way and caught it.
"IT'S MINE!" Rarity shouted with a maniacal laugh until she saw the other bridesmaids giving her dirty looks, "Oof! Ahaha... ha…"
Rarity was clearly embarrassed as the three girls continued to give her death glares. "Love is in Bloom" played in the background as the wedding carriage disappeared into the distance.
"Now this was a great wedding," said Twilight.
"You said it, Twilight," stated Storm in agreement as he stood next to her.
The boy put his arm around the girl's shoulder as she leaned on his chest and sighed happily and blissfully with her eyes closed. While she may have not confessed directly to the boy, she was just glad to enjoy this moment with him. It was then fireworks lit up the sky, the last one being a giant pink heart.
Love was definitely in bloom.
Author's Note: Talk about a wedding. And well... it happened. Kinda of. I mean, at least now, Twilight has a huge weight off her chest as she has confessed her true feelings.
