Chapter 119: Nomad Droids

Who's the more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?

Recap: Homeward bound. On a peaceful relief mission to the planet Aleen, R2-D2 and C-3PO were caught up in an adventure beyond their comprehension. After finally resolving the crisis and being taken to Jedi Master Adi Gallia's cruiser, they now head home toward the safety of the Republic, hoping to avoid a Separatist attack.

On a Republic cruiser, under the command of Jedi Master Adi Gallia, 3PO and R2 were in the Jedi's cabin as they were contacting Padmé. Meanwhile, walking toward the cabin in the hallways was TS-01 as she was talking with Twilight.

"I got the information, thanks, TS-01," replied the princess as she was looking forward to dissecting and studying the account that her droid recorded of their adventure.

"No problem, Twilight," responded the droid to her creator.

"I'll see you when you get here. Ooh, I can't wait to learn about this. Maybe I should ask Storm to study with me." said the girl as the transmission cut off.

"Storm? Twilight? What does it mean?" said the droid as she still didn't comprehend what feelings were. Nor how they functioned, as evidenced by her creator's face, which brightened up at the mention of her partner.

The droid merely put her robotic fingers together, as that was the only thing she knew about when it came to feelings. For a droid that was so complex and could understand ones and zeros, for some reason, the concept of feelings was something she couldn't compute. Guess that was a small part of Twilight herself reflecting on her robot.

She then entered the cabin where her friends were.

"And Mistress Padmé, you would not believe the adventures R2 and I had on that troubled planet of Aleen. We have been in the most absurd situations. I could never compute." said 3PO.

"Well, I told you, 3PO, it's a big universe out there, beyond the few million planets you know," said Padmé.

"And obviously, for the most part, quite uncivilized. I hope never to end up on a mission of that nature again," said 3PO as he had enough adventure for one day.

"Good. I need you here to supervise the senatorial banquet. It was pushed up and is only two days away. Rarity is starting to get very stressed about meeting the deadline." said Padmé as the fashionista arrived a few days ago from Twilight's homeworld and was immediately thrown into the fire to create outfits, especially for the upcoming dinner that was rescheduled at the last second.

A rumbling was heard as the entire ship began to rock.

"Oh, my!" said 3PO as R2 began to chirp.

"What's going on?" asked TS-01.

Three Separatist ships emerged from hyperspace and fired on the lone Republic cruiser as if on cue. The ship was caught off guard as they were now sitting ducks. Entering the command center were Master Gallia and her clones.

"They've hit the main reactor; prepare to evacuate!" said the Jedi Master.

In the hallways, the droids were walking as clones rushed behind them.

"Non-essential personnel evacuate immediately. Non-essential personnel evacuate immediately!" said the clone over the PA system.

"Did you hear that? We've got to get out of here," stated 3PO to his buddies.

The droids approached the door the clones stopped at as it opened. Immediately there was gunfire as the clones turned to the hallway; Master Gallia was fighting against the person in charge of the attack while their forces shot at each other.

"It's General Grievous!" said 3PO as he was now scared for his life.

R2 let out a beep as he began to book it down the hallway they came from.

"Don't have to tell me twice," said Twilight's droid as she hopped onto R2's dome head and hitched a ride.

"R2, where are you going?" said 3PO as he didn't want to be abandoned. "We need to find an escape pod."

Behind them, Master Gallia was sent flying by a kick from Grievous as the battle continued. In the hangar, clones were rushing about as the pilots were looking to get into their fighters to combat the forces outside the ship.

"All pilots to your stations. All flight crews man your stations!" said the clone on the PA systems as the ships flew.

The droids were now in the hanger bay, looking for a way to escape. R2 noticed another unit rolling toward a Y-Wing; he shoved him out of his way and quickly hopped in as Twilight's droid went to the cockpit.

"R2-D2, get down from there at once. This is not an escape pod," stressed 3PO.

"You got a better idea," said Twilight's droid as she fired up the systems. Right now, it was just thinking about surviving."

"Well, if there's nothing better, I suppose it will just have to do," said 3PO as he climbed into the cockpit with Twilight's small droid.

R2 gave a beep.

"I'm sure I will live to regret it. Ohh!" shouted 3PO as the two started up the ship, and he was flung into the cockpit before he could sit down.

The Y-wing carrying the droids was on the runway as it began to exit the cruiser. They entered space as they saw the massive battle that was unfolding.

"R2, you should know I have total confidence in your skill as a pilot, provided you can avoid these star cruisers. Oh, my!" shouted 3PO as he looked ahead.

R2 gave a beep as he drove their ship directly into enemy lines. TS-01 was operating the guns as she was shooting at the droids, trying to fire at them while R2 piloted the fighter.

"Avoid them the other way!" shouted 3PO.

"R2, do something! Get us out of here!" said TS-01 as they were starting to get overwhelmed.

The astromech heard the call as he began to pilot the ship away from the fight. However, a lone vulture droid began to follow them. They headed toward a planet, and behind them, a ship exploded. The two fighters entered the planet's atmosphere as the vulture droid was still on their tail.

"They're right behind us!" said 3PO.

The vulture droid managed to land some of his shots as he hit their ship.

"We've been hit! Ah!" screamed 3Po as their ship started to wobble.

They dove down as the vulture droid looked to see where they were. He looked around to see if he had taken out his foes. R2 managed to turn the fighter around behind the droid; TS-01 turned the guns around and returned fire on the droid as it was destroyed.

"Right on target! Well done, you two!" said 3PO.

Just before they could celebrate, alarms began to go off.

"Oh, no! The reactor was hit, it's shutting down. We'll disintegrate for sure." stated the yellow protocol droid as Twilight's droid was pushing buttons and whistles in an attempt to do something.

It wasn't long before the ship plummeted into the ground as they crash-landed. They skid to a halt as everyone was fine. The area around the droids was full of weird pink flowers. R2 gave a whistle to the others.

"Fixable? This scrap pile? Without the tools, this ship is utterly useless! I suppose we could get out and have a look around." said 3PO as he popped the hood of the cockpit up and stood.

"What's with the flowers?" asked TS-01 as she climbed onto the windshield and looked around.

As the other two chuckled, the droids began to get off the fighter as 3PO tripped and fell over the side.

"Oh, really. You see, not even a ladder. Utterly useless! Utterly!" complained the droid, especially how they laughed at him.

The droids were now taking some steps forward as watching them from afar was something. They stood on a rock and observed the droids as they whispered.

"Look, look! Over there!"

"Intruders!"

"Oh!"

"Shiny! It's shiny!"

"Intruders!"

The figures had electro weapons as they eyed the trio of droids.

"Did you hear that?" said 3PO as the trio stopped.

R2 popped out his radar as he began to scan the area. TS-01 made one of her hands change into a blaster as she was currently in defense mode and couldn't go all guns blazing without Twilight's authorization. Meanwhile, 3PO merely picked up a branch near his feet as his choice of defense.

"Whoever you are, please note that my counterparts here are programmed in 47 schools of self-defense," said 3PO, trying to act tough and hopefully scare off whatever was nearby to leave them alone.

"Even I don't buy that threat, and I'm a droid," said TS-01 as R2 beeped in agreeance. The droid popped out all his tools to show them off and scare whatever intruder was about to strike.

The figures watching the pair whispered among themselves in their native tongue before disappearing. Seeing that there was nothing there or that whatever was there was gone, the droids backed off a bit.

"There, I've frightened them off," said 3PO confidently.

"Sure," said TS-01 as she allowed the droid to have his moment.

At that moment, ululating sounds were heard as the shadowy figures emerged from the bushes. They all ran toward the droids with their staffs. However, the thing about the figure was that they were small. Really small. Twilight's droid scanned the quick things rushing toward them as their recorded height was .4 meters tall. They were so small that if any of the droids put their foot on the creatures, they would crush them.

The small creatures began to surround the trio.

"Fear not, you two. Just little creatures. Can't possibly damage us!" said 3PO.

"Uh, I'm not sure…" started TS-01.

The small creatures then poked the droids with their staffs. It sent a shock throughout the. As they soon were unconscious.

"Get the Big Hay-Zu. He'll know what to do."

The droids soon awoke as they tried to recall what had happened. To their surprise, they were being held down by some string and pinned by the staff as they dug and held the string.

"Really! May I say that… this is no way to treat a friendly visitor to your planet.," said 3PO as he struggled to get free.

"The Big Hay-Zu says there are no friendly visitors," responded one of the creatures.

"This Hay-Zu doesn't sound very reasonable," stated TS-01.

"We do what he says, whatever he says, for our own good."

"Your own good?" asked 3PO

"He sends our children to fight his wars, the lucky ones."

"What does he do to the unlucky ones?"

Twilight's droid asked, but a fanfare was heard before she could get an answer. Arriving was another creature. However, he appeared to have this sense of tyranny around him, as indicated by the parade announcing him and the throne chair he sat in.

"So, you are the intruders?" said the small creature named Hay-Zu.

"Intruders? Oh, hardly, Your Worshipful-ness! We are..."

"On this planet, things are what Hay-Zu says they are!" stated the creature as he didn't allow 3PO to speak.

R2 gave a beep.

"Quiet, R2," said 3PO.

"What's this? Your friend challenges Big Hay-Zu's authority!" said the creature himself as he felt disrespected.

"Well, we don't find hungry dictators to be all that friendly," spoke TS-01, getting Hay-Zu even angrier.

"Sir, my disagreeable friends here mean no disrespect. We are just trying to get back to our home planet, but our ship is damaged. And I fear, repaired or not, that further travel in it might not result in our arrival there unscathed." stated 3PO as Hay-Zu yawned at the droid's explanation.

"That's the chance you'll have to take. Now get off my planet while I'm in a good mood, or I'll have you dismembered and sold for scrap. Free them!" ordered Hay-Zu to his subjects.

The creatures followed their orders as they cut loose the droids they had tied down. R2 sat up, and he began to give some harsh beeps to the small ruler.

"Ah, big talk for a small droid!" said Hay-Zu, who didn't like being disrespected by the blue astromech.

R2, have your sensors frozen?" asked 3PO, as he didn't like his friend trying to cause trouble.

R2 gave a beep.

"I say let him," spoke TS-01 as she was on the side of the blue droid.

"I am not going to let you at him! In fact, I'm going to switch you off before you cause an intergalactic incident!" stated 3PO.

The droid went to shut him off but accidentally banged him as R2 was now falling over. Hay-Zu let out a scream as the blue astromech fell on him.

Oh, my!" shouted 3PO.

The droids helped R2. When they lifted him, some gooey substance stuck to him before it was ripped off.

"You just killed him."

"Dead. He's dead. The Big Hay-Zu is dead."

The small creatures were starting to chatter as they discussed what had happened. They were all leaning over the body of their leader.

"You must understand this was an accident, a terrible accident," said 3PO, trying to ensure he didn't mean to do it on purpose.

"He's dead! He's dead!" chanted the creatures. "The Big Hay-Zu is dead! He's dead! He's dead! The Big Hay-Zu is dead!"

When the death of their leader happened to them, they seemed to be happy about that. It confused the droids as one of them approached 3PO.

"Huh, I thought they be less… excited," spoke TS-01.

The small creatures began to work on the droids' ship as they were saying thanks for ending their leader's tyranny. R2 and TS-01 were helping them as they were wielding some parts.

"Gold one, we have a proposition. We wish you not to leave but for you to stay as our new leader."

R2 let out a laugh at hearing that.

"You sure that's a good idea?" snickered TS-01.

"A lot you know, you over-stuffed barrel of bolts," said 3PO as he took offense to what R2 said and couldn't believe Twilight's droid took his side.

"I could be a leader," stated 3PO before addressing the creatures, "I am honored by your consideration, but you should choose a leader from among your own," said the yellow protocol droid.

"None of us has killed Hay-Zu. None of us have earned the title," said one of the creatures.

"Terminating the big one does not anoint me leader. You must choose. Now, who are the three smartest, most intelligent, most understanding, most compassionate? You should choose a leader from among these three." stated 3PO as he looked at the crowd.

"Who thinks he should be leader?" asked the droid as he pointed at an individual.

"Yeah. Oh, yeah."

"And this young lady?"

"Yeah!"

"Lastly, him."

"Yeah!"

"Congratulations! You are now a democracy," stated 3PO.

"I got more votes than he did," said one of them.

"No, you didn't!" replied another one.

"Sit down! It was me! It was me!" shouted the third representative.

"I got the most votes."

"That is not true."

"Ridiculous!"

"No!"

Soon a huge clamor began to occur as they argued over who should lead.

"Now look what you did," said TS-01.

R2 gave a beep to his pal.

"I heartily agree. Is the ship ready?" asked 3PO, hoping to get away.

"Sort of," answered Twilight's droid.

"Then we'll just have to risk it and leave them to build their happy democracy on their own," said 3PO as he hopped into the cockpit with TS-01.

R2 hopped into his seat as they began to start up the ship.

"I got the votes!"

"Down with democracy!"

The creatures began to fight against each other as the droids were minding their business and getting ready to leave. They started to hover as they took off, with the thrusters of the ship blowing and making the creatures fall to the ground. They sat up and saw the ship leave and enter space.

They were now in space, hoping to find some way home. R2 gave a beep.

"Yes, I'm reading the gauges. I have nothing to do but read gauges," said 3PO.

R2 gave a beep.

"Uh-oh," said TS-01, looking at what R2 said.

"Why? What do the gauges say?" asked 3PO, as the tone she spoke in wasn't a good one.

"We're running out of power," said TS-01.

"Running out of power? The ship and us, too! Oh, I knew we should never have left the Jedi cruiser." said 3PO.

R2 beeped to relay a message.

"Another planet?" asked 3PO.

The ship headed toward another planet as it entered its atmosphere. They touchdown on the ground.

"According to the positional system coordinates, this is Balnab, a stellar remnant in its emerging stages of organic development," explained TS-01 as she read the info on the screen. "However, I've heard terrible stories about these primitive planets."

"I dare not imagine what is beginning to swim in their primordial soups," said 3PO.

The hood popped up as they all got out. They did a quick look around as they took in their new surroundings.

"I know we have to find power. But do we have to find it out there?" expressed 3PO, as he didn't like it.

R2 gave a beep to his friend. One that, translated, meant he was taunting his friend for being scared.

"Afraid? Of course, I'm not afraid," declared 3PO.

Some squawking was heard as the droids saw some birds and flew away.

"I am now," said the yellow droid in a scared tone. "Quickly, see if your scanners can find a viable power source."

3PO said to the two as they activated their scanners to find a way to charge their ship. As they walked and looked, some figures in the dark were watching them.

"Yes, me, too," replied 3PO to R2's beep.

"Hold on, I'm picking up some life forms," said TS-01.

"Life forms? What kind?" asked 3PO.

The droids walked to a nearby bush and saw some creatures sitting on top of a rock. They appeared to be some lemur/primate. They saw the droids before gunshots were heard and aimed at the animals.

"They appear to be humanoid and completely devoid of intelligence.

They saw the droids before gunshots were heard and aimed at the animals.

"Make a dash for it, you two!" shouted 3PO as all three turned.

The lemurs ran behind them, and chasing after them was a band of Balnabs. They saw the droids as the one in front raised his stun net gun and fired. It launched onto the droids as they were pinned under it.

"What are they?" asked one of the Balnabs.

"Bring them. The leader will know," said the one who shot the net.

"Another leader? Oh! I do hope this one is more understanding." said 3PO.

"Somehow, I doubt that," said TS-01 as R2 gave a beep in agreement.

The band of Balnabs was now leading the droids to their leader. They were between the riders as they had no choice but to comply and hope that whoever the leader was could help them. R2 gave a beep to his friend.

"My fault! Ha! I should have known." stated 3PO, as he knew somehow R2 would blame him.

The droids were now brought before the bandits' leader. He was shown as he seemed to be glowing for a reason.

"Who dares come to my land?"

"Just three wandering droids searching to find their home!" said 3PO.

"Droids? What are droids'?" asked the leader.

"Well, kind sir, droids are mechanical beings possessing artificial intelligence, designed to make..." Twilight's droid was starting to go on a tangent when she was cut off.

"Silence!" shouted the leader.

"At once, sir," said 3PO. "Your Sir-ness, being silent is one of my specialties." R2 also gave a chirp to show he was quiet.

"Who dares to bring these non-living things before me?" demanded the Balnab leader.

One of the Balnab stepped forward.

"It was I who brought them. I thought that..."

The leader fired electricity at the Balnab that stepped forward. He was shocked and electrocuted as he fell to the floor. TS-01 and 3PO gasped at what they saw.

"How unfortunate," said 3PO.

"No one thinks here but me!" declared the leader.

R2 whistled.

"R2, be quiet," said 3PO to his droid pal, hoping not to get into any more trouble. "This situation calls for my most delicate diplomatic skills."

"Oh, we're dead," muttered TS-01, as she didn't have faith in 3PO. She then saw R2 rolling away as she followed him to see where he was going as their yellow friend talked.

"Please excuse my insolent friend, Your Eminence-ness, but I know a holographic image..."

"I know not of your blasphemy!" shouted the hologram of the bandit leader.

R2 and TS-01 approached a wall as the blue astromech inserted himself. A piece of the wall then popped open as they entered to explore. They entered, and to their surprise, some rogue pit droids were operating some consoles as they were behind the "hologram. "

"Perhaps "holographic" is the incorrect word in your native tongue, but it is obvious that you are not real," said 3PO, unaware of who exactly he was talking to.

"Not real! I'll show you not real!" declared the hologram as he began to fire off several lightning bolts that sent everyone scattering.

"Ahem!" said TS-01 as she cleared her throat.

"Hey, what are you doing back here?" stated the pit droid in a meek voice at seeing the two.

"I said, what are you doing back here?" repeated the hologram, the pit droid unaware he was still present.

"Back where?" asked 3PO as he and the Balnabs looked at him.

R2 gave a beep.

"Sorry for intruding, but we just need some help," stated TS-01.

"Help you? Whereabouts…" exclaimed the pit droid as he fell off his chair and landed with a thud.

The others looked at their friend as he popped his head up.

"We're not gonna help you. We worked hard to keep these mindless organics enslaved. And if you want to order someone around, get your own organics," the pit droid told the pair.

R2 gave a beep at them.

"Oh, yeah! And just how is an astromech unit going to make our loyal subjects rebel?" taunted the pit droid.

"Wanna find out?" stated TS-01 as R2 beeped.

H whistled angrily as the hologram showed the two kicking the pit droid and bullying him, with R2 chasing after it. 3PO saw what was happening on the hologram; he turned to where the hidden wall was and out popped the pit droid, which fell to the ground. He stood up and saw the Balnabs.

"Uh-oh," said the pit droid.

"Oh, my!" said 3PO, now seeing what was real.

"Hey, get them!" said one of the Balnab as they ran at the droid.

"Uh-oh, again!" exclaimed the pit droid as he ran back inside with the Balnabs following. Emerging from the other side were R2 and TS-01.

"R2!" called out the protocol droid. "It's time to leave, but we still need to recharge." The trio began to leave.

"Here they come! They're coming for us!" said the pit droid to his buddies as the Balnabs entered the cave.

"We're done for!" said a pit droid as the Balnabs began shooting at the consoles the droids used to trick them.

"They're gonna kill us! Run for it!" said the droids as they ran away from one of the Balnab shooting at them.

The consoles began to short-circuit as an explosion occurred, which soon got bigger as it panned out to show the entire base going up in flames. As the trio was heading back to their ship, a scream was heard as one of the pit droids that survived the explosion was sent flying. He screamed as he landed on the ground behind the trio who was walking.

"It's all your fault, R2, all your fault," said 3PO, "Whatever will we do now?"

R2 was behind the two bipedal droids and stopped for a moment.

"R2, I'm talking to you," said 3PO as he and TS-01 turned to look at the astromech.

R2 beeped softly at the pair.

"Please don't mumble," said the yellow droid.

R2 beeped again slowly as he moved even slower.

"Uh-oh. R2, you're almost out of power," said TS-01, as she quickly scanned her blue friend and saw his power levels were low.

"Here, rest," said 3PO as R2 took shelter under some shade.

R2 beeped softly as he was concerned for 3PO.

"Me? I have 1.723% left in my power core. I thought for sure you two would have figured something out by now. You're usually so good at that sort of thing." confessed 3PO as he and TS-01 sat beside their friend under the shade.

R2 gave one final beep as he soon shut down.

"Oh, R2, don't leave me, please," said 3PO, "Rest, my friend. I will be joining you soon."

Within seconds, 3PO shut down as well. TS-01 opened up her wrist as she looked at her power levels. The droid saw a red flash as she didn't have much.

"Deactivate weapon system. Reroute to the power core," said TS-01, as she could preserve a small percentage of power by deactivating her weapons. However, she still needed to shut down to let her system take effort.

"Going dark… three… two…"

Soon, she shut off and leaned against R2.

Sometime later, a ship was flying overhead. It belonged to a group of Weequay pirates as they docked their ship and got off. They saw the Y-wing and were looking to earn money by selling it.

"That Republic Y-wing is a great prize," said one of the Weequay pirates.

"Do you think there are any Jedi around?" asked another pirate.

"Don't worry. We are takin' off before anyone realizes we've landed."

"What have we here?" said one of the pirates as he saw something, "Looks like three droids that ran out of power."

The pirates noticed the droids as they cackled.

"Lookie, lookie here. Come to papa," said one of them as he grabbed 3PO.

"There you go," said the other pirate as he placed TS-01 on top of R2 and lifted the blue astromech.

"This should be a fun one," said one of them as they laughed and left with the droids.

The trio was now in the pirate's ship in their hangar. They were attached to some power cords as they charged the droids.

"Who would rescue us? Master Anakin?" said 3PO as he came back online. "R2, you're recharged."

"You're not the only one," said TS-01 as she ripped off her cable.

"I'm recharged! We survived. Where are we?" wondered the yellow protocol droid.

R2 gave a beep as he informed his friends.

"Pirates?" said TS-01.

At that moment, the two pirates enter the hangar. They chuckled and smiled as they began to lead the droids away. They were taking the droids to a fit pit held on the ship. Droids were being pitted against each other.

"Oh, my," said 3PO. "What are they cheering for?"

A droid was taken out and ripped into two. The droid raised his hands as if he was the victor.

"Oh, goodness gracious me! Soon it will be us," said 3PO

"And I think that's now," said TS-01 as the three of them were shoved into the fight pit below.

A Separatist ship flew in space as the droids were about to fight. It belonged to General Grievous, who had managed to capture Master Gallic from the earlier encounter.

"General, we've come across what appears to be a pirate ship," said a B1 droid.

"Use that ship for target practice. Open fire!" shouted the cyborg. "All forward cannons open fire. Battle stations!"

The ship was prepping their guns as in the pit; their foe was staring down the droid trio.

"Oh, my! Go get him, you two," said 3PO as he shoved his pals forward.

"Why us?" said TS-01.

The droid went to grab R2; he pulled out his taser and shocked the droid's hand, which TS-01 jumped off his head and delivered a punch to the droid as he stumbled back. As they were about to engage again, Grievous' ship opened fire. It created a hole in the ship as the droids and pirates were sucked into space.

"Oh, no, we'll never get back to the ship!" stated 3PO as he grabbed onto R2.

The blue droid activated his rocket thrusters as TS-01 did the same. They were gliding through space as the pirate ship behind them blew up. The droids made their way to Grevious's ship; they entered the hangar and met with several droids.

"We surrender," said 3PO as he got off R2 and put his hands up.

"Uh, where did you come from?" said one of the B1 droids.

"They must be pirate droids," said another.

"Pirate droids! You're under arrest."

"Pirate droids? We're not pirate droids," said 3PO, "We are part of the Repub…"

TS-01 quickly jumped onto 3PO's shoulders and put her hands over his mouth as R2 bumped into the yellow droid to shut up.

"Oh, yes, we are pirate droids," said 3PO as he caught what he was going to say.

"That is what we thought. Send them off to the incinerator room with the rest of the pirate scum," stated one of the Separatist's droids.

"The incinerator room?" said TS-01.

"Yes. You will be melted down for General Grievous' war machine," the other B1 droids stated.

R2 buzzed as soon as all three were gathered in a line. They were on a conveyor belt moving them forward to a giant incinerator. A droid at the front saw and tried to turn to escape but was shot down. He slumped and eventually fell into the fire.

"This is terrible," said 3PO.

"Oh, this trip has been nothing but calamity all the way," said 3PO.

As the three were about to go over, several Republic cruisers emerged from space. They began to fire on Grievous' ship as they were sent to rescue Master Gallic, who was captured aboard. The cruisers and fighters shooting at the ship made it rock as the whole incinerator room tilted. R2 and TS-01 turned on their rocket thrusters as 3PO grabbed onto the blue astromech.

The Separatist droids were lined up as the doors opened to reveal the intruders. As it turned out, leading the rescue mission were Master Plo and Celestia, as the pair were looking to rescue their fellow Jedi Master brethren. Within seconds, the Jedi and their clones were mowing down their foes.

"Oh, this trip has been nothing but calamity all the way," said 3PO as they appeared behind the B1 droids who were getting finished off.

They stopped to the side to avoid getting in the crossfire; running down from the hallway to the left was Master Gallia as she and her men managed to get free.

"Thanks for the rescue, Master Plo, Celestia!" said Master Gallia as she deflected some shots and helped finish the droids.

Within seconds, the Hedi and their clones stood tall.

"General Grievous has fled," stated Commander Wolfe.

"Very good! Finish off the remaining droids," stated Celestia.

"We're Republic!" shouted 3PO as they all turned forward to see the trio coming out from hiding, "We belong to Senator Amidala. Don't shoot. Don't shoot!

"I can't believe it," said Commander Wolfe, surprised to see the trio he dropped off again.

Celestia smiled as she stepped forward. The Jedi Master bent down as she looked at TS-01; she knew the droid belonged to her apprentice as she smiled.

"Fancy seeing you here," said Celestia as she picked up the droid and placed it on her shoulder.

"Greetings, Master Celestia," said TS-01.

"You know these droids, Commander Wolffe?" asked Master PLO to his clone captain.

"Yes, sir. We transported them to Master Gallia's ship after we left the planet Aleen," informed the commander to his general.

"Yes, Commander Wolffe. How have you been, sir? We have been on quite an adventure." stated 3PO.

"Well, I'm certain Wolffe would love to hear about it," snickered Master PLO as he began to walk.

"Uh, actually, sir..." said Wolfe.

"Excellent! It's a long story," said 3PO as he began.

"Uh..." groaned Commander Wolfe as he began to walk behind the Jedi with his men.

"And you won't believe it," said 3PO.

"Sir, excuse me..." called out Wolfe to his general, who was ignoring him.

"I hardly believe it myself. It all started when..."

Celestia chuckled at seeing Wolffe being tortured as she turned on her communicator.

"Master?" said Twilight as she saw her teacher contacting her and was scared.

"I believe I have something that belongs to you, my student," smiled Celestia.

"Greetings, Twilight," said her droid as she waved while still sitting on the Jedi Master's shoulder.

"TS-01? How did you get there?" stated Twilight in shock.

"Fear not, Twilight. I'll make sure to bring her with me," said Celestia.

"I recorded my adventure," said the small droid to her creator.

"Good. I can't wait to read what the catalogs say," said Twilight with a giggle as she was excited.

"She's so much like me," muttered Celestia as she ended the transmission with her apprentice and continued to walk back to the ship with her allies.

Author's Note: And so the adventure with the droid trio has come to an end. Safe to say, this has been one hell of a crazy adventure continuing on from the previous one. So mnay different planets and so many different creatures they've met. Who says a droid can't have the same amount of action as soliders or Jedi on the battlefield. As always, leave a review expressing your thoughts and comments.
