Chapter 172: The Fallout

A sea of ruin lay before. A footstep was shown as it panned upward to reveal Storm. The Jedi Knight was dressed in his Jedi cloak as he had the hood down. The boy looked about as he eyed the damage done to this place; the Jedi Knight took it all in as he could only imagine what may have caused such destruction. Another cloaked figure emerged from a nearby smoke; Luna, wearing her Jedi cloak with her hood down, appeared as she approached her apprentice.

"What was this place?" asked the student to his Master.

"A place built by our Jedi ancestors. Now... all that remains is destruction," stated Luna as she looked about the ruins behind her. "Come along, my student."

"Yes, Master."

The two Jedi got onboard their ship and soon left the planet. They soon arrived back on Coruscant; the pair exited the ship, entered the hangar, and returned to the briefing room. Just as Storm turned the corner in the hallway, he came face to face with Twilight. The two Jedi Knights stopped and glared at each other. Neither of the teens took their eyes off the other as they held a defiant look. The fight between the two was still fresh on their mind despite it being days; however, their relationship was already different. For one, they were colder than the other, and their once bubbly, happy-go-lucky friendship was slowly turning bitter.

"Go on, Master. I'll join you shortly," stated Storm to Luna.

The woman smiled as she seemed to enjoy her student's new attitude and demeanor; since the brawl with Twilight, Storm was more serious and attentive to her lessons as he vastly improved his training tenfold. The boy stared down the girl as they kept remaining in silence. The princess still harked the words her partner said to her when they debated their different stances of the Jedi.

"Hey," growled Storm.

"Hey," growled Twilight in response.

That was all that was said. Storm walked forward as he bumped his shoulder with Twilight, walking past her like she didn't exist. The princess just stood there and took it, cursing at her partner. Seeing him disappear into the room with the rest of the elite Jedi made her blood boil as she walked off.

The girl returned to her room as she tossed a book on her bed. At that moment, a beeping was heard from her transmitter.

"I can't believe that stuck up, stubborn..." Twilight growled as she despised Storm. "I just... hate him!"

The girl's attention was caught as she heard the beeping. But it wasn't the normal beeping from a usual transmitter. Twilight approached her desk as the transmitter was her home planet. It shocked the girl as the only time she had used it was when she first got the message to return home nearly two years ago. The princess answered it as the hologram of a royal messenger appeared.

"This message is for Princess Twilight Sparkle. Your father, the King, requests that you return immediately. There is something afoot regarding the Elements of Harmony."

A fighter was shown emerging from hyperspace. The planet Equis was shown in front of them as Twilight eyed her planet. The girl began to contact the communication center as the transmission was connected.

"This is Princess Twilight Sparkle," said the girl as she sent her clearance code.

"Copy that, Princess. Welcome home, Your Highness," stated the guard in charge of the center.

With the clearance, Twilight began to descend toward her planet. She entered the atmosphere as she made her way toward her kingdom. After hearing from the communications center that his daughter was home, Night Light and Velvet were heading to meet their child. The pair entered the royal carriage and were taken to where Twilight was stationed. The princess was shown in the middle of a meadow as she set her ship to be camouflaged with its surroundings. The sound of horses was heard as Twilight looked to see her parents coming over the hill. The carriage stopped as the doors opened, and the girl's parents came out.

"Hi, sweetie!"

"Hi, Mom!"

The girl ran to her mother, and she hugged her tightly.

"How's my little girl?" said Night Light as he appeared.

"I'm doing good, Dad," said Twilight as she hugged her father.

"So glad you could come. Where's Storm?" asked Velvet, hoping to see the boy with her daughter.

Twilight's demeanor changed on a dime.

"I could care less about him!" stated the princess.

"Oh," gasped Velvet as she noticed her daughter's sudden change in tone and expression.

"Well, that's better for us," said Night Light as he was happy that Storm wasn't present and was glad he wouldn't ruin anything. "Now come along. We have much to discuss."

"Yes, Dad," said Twilight as she followed her father. Velvet looked at her husband as she shook her head, hearing that he was glad Storm wasn't present.

But the Queen was very concerned for her daughter after hearing her say that she didn't seem to care about the boy she had feelings for. She hoped that whatever it was would resolve as she wanted her daughter to be happy. And she was only happy when Storm was in her life.

The three royal members were in the lab as they stood around a table; holograms of the Elements of Harmony were shown. The scientists and scholars had told Twilight they noticed a surge between them just the other day. The princess was shocked to hear that the Elements of Harmony were still a mystery, but to hear that they were acting differently was something of a cause to worry.

"Anything?" asked Twilight to a scholar.

"The same as always, your Highness. The power surge seems to be steady for now. But it does spike every now and then."

"Is there anything affecting my daughter?" asked Night Light.

"None, Your Majesty. Her vital signs seem normal," stated a female scholar as she showed the royal family the scans they took of Twilight upon entering.

Her body was shown heart rate, life force, and even her brain patterns were all normal.

"Very well. Keep an eye on the Elements. The sooner we figure out why they're acting like that, the better!" stated Night Light as he left.

"You sure you feel okay, sweetie?" asked Velvet to her daughter.

"I feel fine, Mom. Honest," stated Twilight, as she didn't feel any different.

"You never know. Since you're tied to the Element of Magic, it may have some effect on you," said Velvet, as she was concerned that if her daughter's Element was going haywire, it might affect her child.

Velvet and Twilight exited the lab while walking in their castle's halls.

"So... Storm didn't come with you?"

"Mom, can we please just not mention him?" said Twilight.

"So, something did happen between you two?" stated Velvet.

Twilight stopped after hearing her mother's claim, knowing she couldn't hide anything from her.

"Sweetie, whatever happened between you two, I'm sure it can be worked..."

"Mom! Just stop mentioning him!" shouted Twilight to her own mother.

Velvet was taken aback by hearing her own child shout at her. But she knew it'd best to give her daughter some space.

"Very well then. But just know. I'm here if you want to talk." stated the woman.

Twilight didn't say anything as she sighed and walked off. The princess made her way to her room as she entered and fell on her bed. Throughout the rest of the day, the scholars and scientists kept their eyes on the scans of the Elements, seeing if there were any changes or surges. Twilight was walking about the castle the following day as Moondancer followed behind.

"Okay, Princess. On today's agenda, you are to address the townspeople and inform them of the upcoming festival we have planned. Following that, your father has asked you to meet with a suitor. And to attend a royal family meeting for a certain delegate matter." stated the handmaiden.

"Very well," said Twilight as she approached some royal seamstresses.

The fashionistas began working on a regal outfit for the princess to look presentable for her daily tasks. Once Twilight was dressed, she and Moondancer left, and they entered the carriage that took them into town. The girl arrived at the stage in the middle of the town square as she made her presence known.

"Everyone, please welcome Princess Twilight Sparkle!" said Moondancer as she introduced her lady.

As if on cue, everybody gathered all bowed down on their knees at the sight of the princess. The people hailed her as a god; whatever she said was law. Twilight waved her hand as the people reacted to it and stood up as they listened to her.

"Greetings, my subjects. I wish you all a good day. As such, the upcoming Sun and Moon festival will be the biggest in over 500 years. My ancestor, Queen Annette, started this event by saving her people from her rival, who threatened a solar eclipse upon Equis. Through her brave actions, we hold this festival not only to honor her but also to honor both the day and night. We must honor what both bring to us and ensure we don't take them for granted."

The people all cheered after hearing Twilight's speech. With that, the princess walked off the stage and returned to the carriage with Moondancer as they began returning to the castle. They were passing by a sea of people cheering and praising Twilight, treating her like the god she was. The bookworm smiled as she began to wave at her people passing by. She was enjoying it when something caught her mind. For a second, she saw Storm in the crowd. The princess blinked as she peered out of the carriage but discovered the boy wasn't there.

Twilight was stunned as she pulled herself back in. The girl then turned, and sitting next to her was Storm. She gasped once more and backed up, but again, nobody was there.

"Twilight... you good?" asked Moondancer as she saw how her friend acted.

"Y-Yeah. I'm just... feeling nauseous, is all. I'm good, though," stated the girl as she put her hand on her head to clear her mind.

On a distant planet, a battle was taking place. Clones and droids were shown as they fired at each other. Running in the middle was Storm as the boy was swinging his lightsaber to deflect and block some blaster shots before sliding into a group of droids and slicing them down in seconds. He used the Force to push some back as he spun while moving forward.

"Go home and rule your planet, princess! Leave the fighting to the real Jedi!" growled Storm as he sliced at many droids to let his anger out. "I could care less about who you get laid by. I'm out here doing the right thing." As his temper grew, the Jedi Knight thrust his lightsaber through five droids in one lunge. "I'm fighting for the Jedi. We're the good guys! What have you ever done?!"

The teen was finishing off the droids surrounding him as one battle droid aimed his blaster to fire a sneaky shoot. Storm cut the head off the last droid and twirled his lightsaber in hand as he was unaware of the droid aiming at him. Just then, the droid was lifted into the air and had its head smashed in as the body fell by Storm's feet, which caught his attention. He looked up as on the hill was Luna with her lightsaber out.

"Pay attention, my student. Don't let your thoughts distract you from the battle," stated Luna as she reminded her apprentice to stay focus and avoid dying.

The Jedi Master looked ahead as she eyed many droids running at them. Luna merely put her hand out as all the blaster bolts were coming at her stop in midair. She then punched the ground as she made it crack and open up. The droids all fell in before Luna closed the ground up using her powers. The Jedi Master made the blaster bolts fly away as she dusted off her shoulder before taking off.

"Yes, Master," said the boy to his teacher as she ran off with some clones.

Storm turned as he went off to take out more droids and gain more ground. Near the bridge where the main action was, some clones were firing when they were shocked and fell. Emerging was Sunset as the girl put her hand down after taking out a group by herself. Accompanying her were two assassin droids as she walked forward into the fight. All around, she saw the two forces fighting as they were trying to gain control of the bridge. She soon halted and spotted Storm a few meters away as he headed toward the sentries to take them out. The Jedi Knight didn't see the Sith Lord as he focused on removing the main weaponry to allow their men easier access to cross the bridge.

"Go play, boys!" snickered Sunset as she gave the command to her assassin droids.

The two droids jumped and flipped into action as they chased their target. Storm was closing in on the big guns when he heard a buzzing from behind; he turned his head to see the assassin droids on his tail. He skidded to a halt as he turned to face the droids. The boy was charging at the droids as they fired at the Jedi while running, which he blocked. They were about to clash when the droids pulled out their blades; the two sides met in the middle as Storm quickly slashed upward to the right and then downward to his left.

The Jedi stopped and stood with his blade out. Behind him were the droids as each had their backs to each other. Soon, the droids were revealed to have slash marks as they fell into pieces. Storm smiled as he could cut them down in one attack but was soon distracted as a Force Lightning came into his field of vision and struck him. It sent the boy tumbling along the dirt as he came to a stop. The teen grunted as he got to lean on his side and saw Sunset walking toward him. The girl whistled a menacing marching tune with her lightsaber dragging behind her.

"I hate Force Lightning," muttered Storm as he struggled to reach his feet.

Nearby, Luna saw her student and Sunset as he got to his feet.

"Shall we help the General?" asked a clone to the woman.

"No. He can take of himself. Focus on the guns!" stated the Jedi Master.

"Yes, sir!" said the clone leader as they all ran forward.

Luna looked at her student as she believed that Storm could hold his own against Sunset. With that, the Jedi Master turned and ran forward to take care of the weapons. Storm clutched his side as he stared down Sunset; the girl had a sinister smile as she eyed her archrival. The boy twisted his neck as he turned on his lightsaber.

In the blink of an eye, both rushed forward and clashed in the middle. Each holding the other's blade in place as they tried to outmuscle the other. Sensing an attack, Storm backflipped as Sunset tried to spin and swing to cut Storm in half, but the boy avoided it. Each warrior twirled their lightsaber and took a stance as they moved clockwise. All around them, their forces kept on shooting as explosions went off.

"I am glad to have made your acquaintance, princess. I hope to see you again," said the noble that Twilight was potentially meeting to be her suitor.

"The pleasure is all mine," said Twilight.

The noble grabbed the girl's hand and kissed it before bowing as Twilight lifted the edges of her dress and returned the gesture. Soon, he left as Twilight let out a deep sigh. She opened her eyes, and for a second, she saw Storm.

"Twilight!" said Moondancer as she looked at her lady.

"Huh," said the princess as she looked at her handmaiden before returning to the door and finding the boy was gone.

"I said, are you okay?" asked Moondancer.

"Y-Yeah, I just... I need some time alone," stated Twilight as she began to walk away.

Moondancer saw her friend leave as a worried expression came over her face. Twilight furiously walked through the halls as her heels clicked along the marble floor. She soon arrived at the gardens as she approached a fountain and began to splash water at her face. Twilight eventually dunked her head in as her body was shown leaning in. The gardeners saw this and knew better than to question the princess's actions as they did their business.

The teen resurfaced as her hair was wet. Twilight was breathing heavily before she shook her head; the princess was looking at the water and wondering why she was seeing images of her partner when he wasn't there. She still hated him for what he had done, yet there was a part of her saying that they could get over their disagreement. That maybe... they could talk.

"Caught in a bind, perhaps you'd feel better if you told me what's on your mind."

Twilight heard a voice as she turned. Emerging from behind a tree was a cloaked figure. The person took off their hood to reveal their face.

"Zecora!" said the girl as she saw the witch doctor present.

"Decisions, decisions, you have. Yet, in your mind, you see a vivid vision. The princess comes home, but she roams about all alone. While the others continue to fight, the princess returns without her loyal Jedi Knight."

"If you're wondering where Storm is, he's not here," said Twilight as she turned and leaned against the fountain's edge and stared into the crystal blue water.

"Whatever they are to-day, and whatever through time they may be,
They each and all shall lift, and pass away, and cease from thee."

"Zecora, can you just speak normally?!" shouted Twilight, as she didn't want to deal with this nonsense. "I'm not in the mood for your rhyming games!"

"So I see," responded the fortune teller as she approached the girl. "So, where is your partner?"

"Like I said, he's not here. He didn't want to come."

"He didn't or... did you not tell him," clarified Zecora.

"Like it matters," responded the princess.

"It does," said the sorceress.

"Zecora, if you have nothing to say, please leave. I'm already dealing with so much on my plate, so unless you're here to speak to my father and mother about something, then I'll call the guards to have you removed from the premises!" stated Twilight as she began to walk away while flexing her power to the witch doctor.

Twilight was soon halted as Zecora's shadow popped out and appeared in front of her. The princess looked as she saw the voodoo doctor standing with her arms behind her back.

"I have sensed a disturbance among the magical plane."

"Then it's probably the Elements. According to my father, they've been acting up since a few days ago. We're trying to figure out what it is."

"Ah, I see. Then perhaps they should look no further than thee," stated Zecora as she pointed at the princess.

"What?" said Twilight as the voodoo doctor walked and traced her finger along the fountain.

"The Elements are artifacts that keep the balance of Equis. They don't destroy anything no more than they can create. The Elements are linked to you and your friends. You draw their power from them. And your feelings feed into them."

"What are you saying?" questioned Twilight.

"Picture it like this, princess," said Zecora as she held her hand out and magically made a piece of coal appear. "If you want to make this coal into something, you must apply pressure. That pressure does one of two things." The voodoo witch doctor put her other hand on the coal as she applied some pressure to the rock, which began vibrating. "That pressure can turn that lump of coal into the diamond you always wished it to be." A beautiful and flawless diamond appeared in the fortune teller's hand. "But... that pressure can also render it useless, and the coal crumbles into pieces." The diamond soon broke apart as it turned back into coal pieces before fading away.

"The question now is, do you crumble under pressure, princess?" said Zecora as she turned her back with her arms behind her as she stared into the sky. "There is a great danger coming. Equis will face something on a scale of a massive event."

"What is it?" asked Twilight, concerned about what Zecora was saying.

"I have seen vivid visions of the future. And from what I can gather, Equis is in grave danger. And if Equis is to survive this impending doom, then the Elements might be needed. But if the surge that causes this disruption continues, the Elements will cease to exist, and all of Equis will fall." stated the fortune teller.

"If you've seen the future, you know how to stop it, right? Zecora?" said Twilight as the witch doctor merely turned her head to eye the teen. "Zecora, whatever this threat is? Whatever is coming to Equis? Do we win?"

"If I tell you what happens, it won't happen," warned Zecora.

"What do you mean?!" shouted Twilight as she grabbed Zecora's collar. "You just told me the fate of Equis will be in danger! And now you won't tell me how to beat it?!"

"It's not my place to tell. Fate has already made her move, and she's setting things in motion. In ways you cannot comprehend, princess. You are dealing with forces that you can't understand! You can't change what's meant to be, just like the Force. Everything is planned out, and everything happens for a reason. Just as you and your friends were fated to find the Elements and become attached to them. Since you were born, fate has already laid out your roadmap to life. And fate has foretold that this danger will come." said Zecora with the most blunt and stone-cold expression.

Twilight released her hold on Zecora as she processed what the fortune teller revealed. Zecora quickly stuck her head onto Twilight's forehead as the princess reeled her head back and felt her powers entering her mind. She saw visions and images of her past in the girl's head. The fortune teller peered into the Jedi's mind as she took it all in. On Twilight's end, she was in an astral form as she was zooming past her memories; soon, she came to a giant dark canvas. The girl put a hand out as she touched it, and it reacted. The canvas began to expand from where she touched as it lit up. The princess was now seeing a picture of two shadows, one standing over the body as they held a purple lightsaber that looked much like hers. And the body on the floor had the necklace she'd given Storm as it lay in his lifeless hand.

Zecora released her hand from Twilight, who fell to her knees. She gasped as she was breathing hard and trying to calm her mind. The Jedi Knight was trying to make sense of what she briefly saw. The sorceress began to walk as Twilight looked at her.

"Zecora!"

"If you really want to stop the danger. Then, you must reach out to Storm. The only way to prepare is if you two are on the same side. And even then... I'm not sure the Elements can help. They may as well destroy you." said the woman before she walked with her hands behind her back. "But be warned, Your Highness... for the boy's future will be by your hand."

"My hand?" said Twilight. The princess turned to look at Zecora, but the voodoo doctor was long gone.

Back on the planet, the battle between Sunset and Storm continued. The two Force-sensitive individuals pushed each other to the limit as they breathed heavily. Storm ran at Sunset as they traded left and right swings before clashing in the middle. The boy pulled back and attempted a low attack as Sunset angled her lightsaber to parallel her body as she blocked the boy's low attack while bending down. Storm reeled back quickly and looked to strike it away, but Sunset predicted it as instead, she spun around and caught the boy with a kick to the side of his head. Stumbled, the girl went for a lunge as Storm quickly angled his lightsaber to deflect the stab to his side.

The Sith lord pushed up and kicked Storm in the chest as she cartwheeled several times toward her foe and looked to strike him as the Jedi bent down to block while the girl towered over him. Pushing on her advantage, Sunset looked to kick Storm in the side of the leg he was bending on, but the boy quickly extended his legs out to do a split, which caught Sunset off guard and threw her momentum off, allowing Storm to push her away before back rolling onto his feet.

He quickly twisted and leaped into the air as he was upside over Sunset, who blocked his attacks and landed. The girl struck her hand out to use her Force Lightning, as Storm blocked it with his lightsaber. Sunset shot out her lightning as she closed in on her foe; Storm quickly rolled to the side.

The boy got to his feet quickly to block another attack attempt from Sunset. Both held onto each other's wrists as they tried to outmuscle the other. Storm managed to tighten his grip on Sunset's wrist, holding her lightsaber as it fell out of her hand. The girl noticed Storm moving his lightsaber closer to her face as she quickly headbutted him to stun him and allow her a chance to disarm him. Storm recovered from the headbutt as he looked to kick Sunset in the midsection, but the girl caught it and flipped him into the air as Storm spun and landed hard on the ground.

The Sith Lord looked to stomp his face into the dirt as Storm rolled away. He got to his knees as Sunset tried some close combat in which Storm was blocking her fists and throws as she went for a kick to the head; he ducked before executing a double leg takedown. The Jedi Knight got on top of the girl and looked to punch her; she moved her head out of the way and threw a punch at his face. It got the boy to be stunned and allowed her to get a leg under him and push him back.

Sunset then went for a punch, but Storm blocked with his arm and put his leg out to counter Sunset's attempt at kicking him. He then did an underarm hook behind Sunset, holding her in a lock as she elbowed him in the gut to release her. Sunset attempted a step up running knee to Storm's face, but Storm dodged it as he locked his arms around Sunset's waist and took her to the ground. The girl quickly sat up and reversed their position to lock her arms around Storm's waist. The boy managed to get his hands under her to break the hold as he shoulder-checked her to back off.

Storm threw a punch, and it got Sunset right on the cheek; she turned and nearly fell to the ground, but she caught herself by placing a hand outward and used the momentum to deliver a side kick to Storm's head quickly; it dropped the boy to a knee. The Sith Lord then planted her hand on his forehead as she began to use her Force powers to peek into his mind. Storm clutched Sunset's arm with both hands as he could feel the girl trying to probe his mind.

"Just let me in!" said Sunset.

"No! I... I... won't!" responded Storm as he tried to fight against Sunset's mind trick, which was indeed powerful.

The girl growled as she was getting annoyed by Storm's defiance. She quickly punched him in the gut as Storm's resistance slowly slipped away, and the pain started making him lose focus.

"Pain breaks anyone!" shouted Sunset as she put more power into probing Storm's mind. "Tell me the location of the princess' home world!"

"No! I... I won't! Not... Twilight!" shouted Storm.

"Why do you care about her? She thinks the Jedi are the ones responsible." Sunset looked into Storm's mind and saw his brawl with the princess.

"I... won't... betray her!" said Storm as his mind was starting to hurt.

"What do you see?" demanded Sunset as she felt Storm's mind reaching its limit.

"I... I... I see..."

"Yes," smiled the girl as she was about to get her answer.

"I see... I see... You growing more pissed off!" shouted Storm as he didn't tell and kept his defiance.

Sunset growled as she removed her hand from his head and quickly delivered a powerful chop to his chest. The boy gasped as air was sucked out of his lungs when Sunset struck him. He didn't fall as he willed himself not to show defeat but brought his arms in an X to cover his chest. The pain stinging from the chop delivered by Sunset. The bacon-haired girl glared at her rival for not giving her the information she wanted as she exposed some of Storm's chest from his robe and chopped him again. This time, the skin-on-skin contact hurt tenfold as welts formed on his chest immediately from the chop.

Storm, once again, tried not to fall as he willed himself to take the punishment and tried to ignore it, but the red on his chest told a different story. The boy glared at Sunset, who was starting to lose it as she had to think that he'd be broken, but... he wasn't.

"You don't have to do this, Jedi! All you have to do is tell me what I want to know!" yelled Sunset as she grabbed Storm's chin and cheeks with one hand and stared into his defiant expression.

Storm glared at Sunset as, in the ultimate disrespect, he spat in the face of Sunset. The spit shot into the girl's face, causing her to release the boy's face as she stepped back a bit. She put a hand to her eye as she wiped it and saw the salvia on her fingers. Seeing the defiance that Storm did and the disrespect that he showed her, Sunset felt her anger growing. The bacon-haired teen turned her head to look at her rival as Storm had some saliva dripping from his mouth after spitting, but he still didn't go down.

"Thank you, sir. May I have another!" yelled Storm.

Sunset lost it; this boy before her was asking to continue inflicting pain as if he enjoyed it. She winded up her arm and delivered another chop to Storm's chest. She then struck her other hand out and began to shock the boy. Storm yelled at first, but soon, the adrenaline kicked in. The boy, while still being shocked, willed himself to stand up. Sunset turned on the voltage to get him to drop, but Storm pushed through the pain. His chest is now going even redder and smoking from the electricity that flowed through. However, Storm yelled as he managed to get on both feet while still being shocked. The Jedi Knight eyed Sunset, stunned by what she saw as his necklace glowing. It shined with a bright light as it released a massive amount of energy that pushed the girl back.

Sunset was sent flying and tumbled along the dirt as she felt some pain. The girl encountered scuffs along her body as she reached her hands and knees and clutched her side. She ached as she looked to see Storm standing, but he was slumped and breathing, the Jedi out of breath from that last attack. Sunset struggled to reach her feet as she ran and kicked her rival down to the ground as Storm's necklace flew from his neck. The item flew and was caught by Sunset, who looked at the object in her hand. She ran her two fingers through it as she examined it; the Sith Lord then noticed her unconscious foe as she turned her lightsaber on and looked to finish the job.

Sunset looked to run her lightsaber through her foe when she was suddenly pushed back. The girl rolled and slowly skidded to a halt as she lifted her head to see Luna standing beside her student with her hand out. The Sith saw the Jedi Master as she so badly wanted to take her on, but the fight she just ensured with Storm left her exhausted. She knew she couldn't take on Luna and decided to pull back. Luna was about to stop Sunset when droids appeared and began to fire at the Jedi to cover her escape. The Jedi Master deflected the shots as she stood over her student to protect him and eventually took out the droids, but by then, Sunset was gone.

Luna turned to her downed student as Storm was stirring. The boy could only turn his head as his body was in intense pain. The Jedi Master bent down as if she was meditating.

"Luna..."

The Jedi Master touched her apprentice's mouth to silence him. The woman then clamped her hands together in front of her as it let out a loud sound. The Jedi Master then rubbed her hands furiously and quickly as she placed her hand on Storm's body. Luna's hands landed on Storm's exposed chest as she began to rub the area. She then pulled them back as she waved her hand and made several motions. A spirit formed in front of the Jedi Master as, bit by bit, she slowly placed it into Storm's body as if she was applying lotion; the boy watched this healing exercise by his teacher as he slowly felt the pain leaving his body. The area on his chest where he was chopped and electrocuted by Sunset began to fade away completely.

Luna finished her exercise as she clamped her hands once more. The Jedi Master opened her eyes as Storm began to sit up. The boy placed a hand on his body as he looked down at his chest and saw it was no longer beaten and red. The Jedi Knight looked at his Master as Luna nodded. The woman then reached over and adjusted her student's robe as it made her remember when she was getting Storm dressed when he was little. The small interaction brought a smile to the woman's face as soon she looked at her son. Luna then licked her thumb, brought it up to Storm's cheek, and wiped away some dirt, as the boy didn't like that. Now seeing her student was presentable, Luna smiled before standing up.

Storm soon followed as he got to his feet. The boy looked around, hoping to spot Sunset, but the girl was long gone. He noticed his necklace that was dropped by Sunset when she was force-pushed back by Luna. The teen bent down and grabbed it as he held the object. Storm was briefly reminded of the necklace's importance as a vivid image of Twilight flashed. The boy sighed as he hated what the Force was trying to tell him; he soon followed Luna as their mission was a success, and they were heading back home. On the Republic Cruiser going home, Storm lulled over the fact that Sunset was trying to probe his mind to learn about Twilight's home. The Jedi wondered how the Sith knew about the princess' home.

As far as he knew, he didn't tell the girl, nor would Twilight ever tell the existence of her hidden home. So... how did she know about Twilight's planet? From what it seemed, Sunset knew the name of Twilight's home world but not the location. This raised a concern for the boy, who might have to talk with Twilight about their archrival when he returned to the Jedi Temple. The necklace around Storm's neck glowed as it radiated with power, but it was also doing something else.

Author's Note: Following the brawl out between Storm and Twilight, it seems things are less than fine. Especially, with Twilight receivingnews about the Elements of Harmony acting up. Though, if things couldn't get any worse, it seems Zecora has been receiving visions of the future using her mystical powers and foretells of an incoming danger to Equis. And it seems Storm continues to fight the fight as his latest encounter with Sunset has set things off. However, it seems that both might need to come together and actually talk it out like adults to see if they can even work together again. But will it be enough for whatever is coming?
