This chapter is going to be a near victory for Monkey Fist. Hence the title Near-Death By Monkeys. I do like making puns.
Might as well make a reference to a Disney movie. Seeing as Disney were the ones that created Kim Possible.
Unfortunately, Ron does not have a friend in Monkey Fist.
He is evil. Possibly more so than Dr. Drakken.
Chapter 46: Near-Death By Monkeys
Lily and Lilac tried to attack Tougho, but he grabbed them and slammed their heads together. He had good reflexes, it seemed. Though he preferred the slow, intimidating walk.
It let people know not to mess with his boss, as innocent-looking as she appeared.
"Ow!" exclaimed the twins simultaneously.
How could one man possibly be so strong? Perhaps not even Dementor's minions were as strong as he was. And they ate broccoli semi-regularly.
Then again, the two twins were rather strong themselves.
Still, Tougho was a formidable opponent.
Luckily, Lily had an idea.
She went to collect a statue of Monkey Fist. He just so happened to have a few of them to pander to his ego.
And came back a short while later.
Her sister needed help, after all.
Though the monkey ninjas were swarming Tougho.
"I guess this is why I never became a zookeeper…" noted the man.
He liked working with DNAmy, anyway. She was a very nice lady…for a mad scientist.
"Guess what, DNAmy! Your Monty ended up being petrified again! I think Dr. Drakken turned him into a statue by accident…he has a machine that can do that." remarked Lily.
Lilac smiled. This was clever of her sister.
"I'm not sure how long it will last…so enjoy it while you still can!" exclaimed Lilac.
DNAmy nodded and collected the statue.
She then left with Tougho, who was scratching his head.
"Did you get rid of DNAmy?" asked Monkey Fist.
"She's bound to find out our ruse, but yes." nodded Lily.
"Whew!" exclaimed Monty.
His Kimono Girls were getting a raise after this.
Of course, they would get another raise if they disposed of the buffoon while they were at it.
Luckily, it seemed the giant cymbal monkey was almost complete.
Ron gulped. He had a feeling the death trap was fast approaching.
Meanwhile…
Not long after she arrived home, Rufus had something urgent to tell her.
"What's wrong?" asked Kim.
Luckily, her fight with Norm hadn't worn her down very much.
And she had gotten a free pass out of fighting Atrosis.
"Ron captured!" exclaimed Rufus.
"He was? Who captured him?" questioned the cheerleader.
Was it Dr. Drakken? Killigan? The Senors?
When you saved the world as much as she did, you tended to fight a lot of villains.
"Monkey Fist!" explained the naked mole rat.
"That doesn't surprise me…I take it he's at his castle?" asked Kim Possible.
Rufus nodded.
"Then I guess we have no time to lose." answered Kim.
"Phineas and Ferb help?" asked the naked mole rat.
"They want to help? Alright, but it's going to be a bumpy ride." noted the cheerleader.
Then again, Phineas and Ferb weren't the type of people to assume that something was impossible, much like Kim herself.
Phineas and Ferb nodded.
"He was willing to risk his life for us, was he not?" asked Phineas.
Ferb nodded.
Unfortunately for Ron, the cymbal monkey was now complete.
There had been an unexpected delay, but other than that, everything was going according to plan.
"Should we explain what's going to happen to him?" asked Lily.
"I think he already knows." answered Monkey Fist.
"Yeah, I do." nodded Ron.
He was about to be crushed between two different cymbals.
Ron's chair was placed on a track…the same track that the giant cymbal monkey was connected to.
The cymbal monkey began to approach him.
This wasn't exactly the way he expected Monkey Fist to dispose of him.
Though to be fair, he got the feeling this wasn't entirely his idea.
It seemed the Kimono Twins had helped him come to a decision.
"I sure hope Kim shows up to save the day…" noted Ron.
"We'll give her some time." answered Monkey Fist.
After that, Ron Stoppable was about to be stopped.
Sure enough, his girlfriend was indeed there to save him.
In fact, so was his buddy Rufus.
He didn't want to spend the rest of his life without an owner. Though maybe somebody would be willing to adopt him. Kim didn't have a pet, did she?
"Whew!" exclaimed the blonde.
Though he was surprised to see Phineas and Ferb were with them.
It was always good to have someone that you could count on.
Just like Kim could always count on Wade. Thankfully, he was careful not to spill soda on his computer. The last thing he wanted is for his system to get spiked.
Although, he might be more helpful if he left his room a bit more often. Exercise was good every once in a while. After all, Kim Possible herself exercised all the time.
"You're very fortunate, Ron Stoppable. But don't assume I'm going to make it easy for her to rescue you. You are my worst enemy, after all. Isn't that right, ladies?" asked Monkey Fist.
The Kimono Sisters nodded, and claws extended from their fingertips.
They then went to intercept Kim Possible.
They had knives, just in case.
"I've heard of a cat fight, in fact I've been in one more than once, but this is actually kind of ridiculous." noted the cheerleader as she got ready to fight.
"I don't think you'll find it ridiculous when we use you as a scratching post." remarked Lily.
"We have nine lives and you only have one. Which makes it all the more easier for us to take you down." taunted Lilac.
Luckily, Phineas and Ferb were there to help. Rufus was also fighting alongside her.
But the monkey ninjas were approaching the two stepbrothers.
"We've got to shut that down that cymbal monkey, Ferb!" exclaimed Phineas.
Perhaps if they shuffled the tracks, they would be able to buy Ron some more time.
So they decided to do just that.
"What do those kids think they're doing?" asked Monkey Fist.
They had been helpful to him before, but now they were a hindrance.
It was a bitter irony.
"Man, things were sure easier when he didn't have these girls with him, wasn't it?" questioned Kim as she dodged the Kimono Girls' sharp claws.
Rufus nodded. The monkey ninjas were effective enough on their own.
"Well, you have been getting new allies lately." noted Phineas. Perhaps the villains found a way to compensate. It might not be a bad idea to take up the persona of The Beak again
However, the monkeys began to undo their efforts to alter the tracks.
There was no point in not fighting them, it seemed.
Luckily, Phineas and Ferb had brought some of their inventions.
Ferb used his banana split launcher on them.
This worked surprisingly well…namely because the monkeys stopped to lick the ice cream off their faces. It seemed they really liked the stuff.
"Good thinking, Ferb." noted Phineas.
"They're not making a monkey out of me." answered Ferb.
"This death trap is taking a long time to work, isn't it?" asked Lily.
"That's because those kids keep rearranging the tracks." noted Lilac.
As such, the two decided to stop fighting Rufus and Kim and focusing on the two boys.
Though they tossed a few knives at the cheerleader and pet to keep them on their toes. They never seemed to run out of knives. Was it one of their powers?
Perhaps it was possible.
"Uh-oh! These two look dangerous!" exclaimed Phineas.
They hadn't had the time to bring their Beak suit unfortunately. Just as Kim couldn't pack her supersuit.
"I think you two kids need a time out." remarked Lily.
"I agree with my sister." agreed Lilac. They were averse to harming children, however. Maybe they could take them to the dungeon, instead?
Suddenly, Ferb shot them with a net.
"Hey!" exclaimed the younger of the kimono sisters.
Unfortunately, the two of them began clawing their way out of the net.
Fortunately, Ferb focused his mystical monkey power and trapped them in a force field.
"Oh c'mon!" bellowed the sisters. They had almost cut themselves loose too.
However, the cymbal monkey was close to Ron.
It was now or never.
Luckily, Ferb used his power to tip over the monkey…
…and it fell on top of some of the monkey ninjas.
Monkey Fist clenched his fist.
Not only that, but Kim moved Ron out of the way of the track.
Monty Fiske sighed.
"You remember the deal we made, did you not?" asked Monty.
"We did. We don't mind." answered Lily. They weren't in a position to protest, anyway.
Though they were kind of hoping everything would go according to plan.
Sometimes, it just didn't happen.
Dr. Drakken knew it all too well.
Monkey Fist beckoned what was left of his monkey ninjas to attack Ron.
It was times like this when he wished he had the Lotus Blade with him.
But unfortunately, he did not.
Luckily, Ron ended up panicking and producing a blue shockwave that sent them back.
It looked as if the monkey ninjas were down for the count.
"Oh no…his mystical monkey power is protecting him." spoke Monkey Fist.
He decided to deal with Ron himself (since he too had that power)…
…only to be hit in the back of his head with a baseball.
"Ow!" exclaimed Monkey Fist.
He turned to Phineas and approached him.
"Naughty children deserve to be punished." remarked the man.
However, Kim Possible intercepted him.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." said the cheerleader.
"Being the heroine as usual, are we?" asked Monkey Fist.
"Of course." nodded Kim.
The two of them exchanged blows, neither of them gaining the upper hand over the other.
Suddenly, Phineas blasted Monkey Fist with his honey blaster.
"I'm not letting you hurt one of our babysitters!" exclaimed the boy.
Monkey Fist was now stuck to a wall.
"Defeated by a mere child…well, I have lost to Hana Stoppable more than once." admitted the man. That had been pretty embarrassing.
He didn't think a child would outsmart him though.
"Phew!" exclaimed Ron. It looked like Monkey Fist wouldn't be hurting him after all.
Lily and Lilac gasped.
Their boss had fallen.
"Huh. I wonder if I'll have powers like the mystical monkey power someday." noted Kim.
It seemed entirely possible. After all, was she not Kim Possible?
After all, the villains had decided to step up their game…like Drakken did when he created those Diablo toys.
That might come in handy.
In a twist of irony, Monkey Fist, Lily, and Lilac were locked away in their own castle dungeon.
Bates was currently taking the day off after DNAmy's attack…so they would be there a while.
"I hate that buffoon…" remarked Monkey Fist, who had grabbed the bars with his hands.
"I think we'll get him next time…though I do wonder if we're stuck in an endless loop…" noted Lily.
"At least fighting Kim Possible is fun." admitted Lilac.
Nearby, the monkey ninjas were playing cards in a cell of their own.
Meanwhile…
"I'm sorry things didn't go according to plan." noted Atrosis.
It looked like the mayor wasn't going to be their hostage. Which meant no extortion. Junior once faked a kidnapping, but she wasn't sure whether Danville would buy that.
"Ve'll do better next time." answered Professor Dementor.
Besides, he still remembered some of the fighting techniques that his sidekick had ended up teaching him.
Perhaps having a mind control helmet on your head could have its perks after all.
He wouldn't be using it for a while though.
Dementor didn't want to act like a zombie again.
After all, did Kim Possible's sidekick not like fighting zombies? He did that in one of the video games he played.
Suddenly, a minion came by carrying a suitcase.
His name was Bill.
"What's this?" asked Atrosis.
"A gift from Senior. He said that he was impressed with how hard you fought to make sure your evil scheme succeeded." noted the henchman.
Junior didn't like what she did to Shego…but he supposed it was understandable. She had mocked her helmet-wearing boss, had she not?
"Well, I suppose that's true. I mostly fought other villains though." admitted the woman. She could have fought Kim and Perry as well, but she ended up negotiating with them instead.
She probably would never fight Senior. Though she was far more energetic than Senior was, the two were a lot alike.
As it turned out, Senior had given them a suitcase of money.
Atrosis remembered what she had done for the boss.
"Huh. So this is what positive karma is like. It usually seems negative for us." noted the sidekick. They were the villains, after all.
Though perhaps Dementor had received positive karma when he decided to let his sidekick remain at his side. Conquering the world was so much easier now.
"Hey, boss! Want to split this with me?" asked Atrosis. It was the least she could do after all the money that her boss had given her.
"Sure, vhy not…vould you like to move into my evil villain lair?" questioned Professor Dementor. The two of them were close.
"I love it here, so why not. Oddly enough, I seem to recall Shego doing that with Doctor Drakken…Shego and myself will never be the same person though." remarked Atrosis.
Perhaps it was good that she had ended up working with Professor Dementor instead of the green supervillainess. They would probably spend more time fighting with each other than they did Kim Possible.
She did still feel sorry for Dr. Drakken though. James Possible kind of treated him the same way Ned treated her.
She was still sticking with Dementor, however.
Suddenly, she heard someone knocking on the door.
It was Motor Ed, and he had flowers.
"Oh, hi. Did you bring me flowers?" asked Atrosis.
Motor Ed nodded.
They were a bit greasy though. Which was appropriate for somebody like him.
"I'm sorry, but I think I'm not your type. I'm more of a science lady, not a mechanic." explained the woman.
"Aw, man!" exclaimed the man.
"And I do work against your cousin, too. That's kind of an issue as well. Though I don't hate your cousin." noted Atrosis.
"There's this green babe who works with him. How I love her…" remarked Motor Ed. He had even buster her out of prison. Though it seemed nobody wanted to be her cellmate, unlike Dr. Drakken.
He had ended up in prison himself for that little stunt.
"I wouldn't recommend her. She has a long history of violence. You could say I do too, but I don't get angry easily." noted Atrosis.
Though there had been occasions where Shego indeed made her angry. She had done that during her last evil scheme…which she had unfortunately had to come up with without her boss.
"So who do you recommend?" asked Motor Ed.
"Who have you already tried?" questioned Atrosis.
"I've tried DNAmy, but she only has her heart set on Monkey Fist. Though she also seems to like that butler of hers." noted the mechanic.
"Yeah, I wouldn't recommend her either." answered the woman.
She turned people into animals. She had to draw a line somewhere, like she did with cloning. Luckily, Professor Dementor had agreed not to clone her. They both agreed that clones could potentially turn on their masters. Doofenshmirtz found that out the hard way, thiugh admittedly he didn't intend on creating an army of lookalikes.
"I also tried Professor Poofenplotz…but I don't really dig older women." noted Motor Ed.
"Seems fair. Professor Dementor and myself are roughly the same age." remarked Atrosis.
"Thanks for being nicer to me than the other women." noted the mechanic.
In the past he had been blasted by Shego's plasma, beaten up by Tougho, and zapped by Poofenplotz's lab ray.
"I'd rather take my chances with Dr. Doofenshmirtz." remarked Poofenplotz in a flashback. Even if the name for his scientist group was ridiculous.
"You're welcome. I'm sure that there's a double for you somewhere." noted Atrosis.
"What makes you say that?" asked Motor Ed.
She pulled out a picture of Gill and Camille Leon.
"There's a scary swamp monster that found a girl who likes him? Seriously?" questioned the mechanic. What were the chances of that?
"Yeah. She has a hairless sphinx so she doesn't scare easily." noted Atrosis.
And her powers were scary in itself. You never knew whether it was the real deal or Camille in disguise. Though she had trouble impersonating Ron since she didn't have a naked mole rat of her own. Debutante was the best equivalent she had.
"Where'd you get that picture, anyway? Seriously?" questioned Motor Ed.
"Well, I did use to stay at Camp Wannaweep…though I didn't like it." remarked the young lady.
Dr. Lurkin gave her that picture.
"Oh. Well, thanks for the support. Even if you don't want to be my girl." noted the mechanic.
"You're welcome. I think you'll find your special one eventually." remarked Atrosis.
"Isn't Professor Dementor shorter than you, though?" questioned Motor Ed.
"I can make myself bigger than anyone. So I don't mind that." answered the woman.
"Really?" asked the mechanic.
Atrosis nodded and used her yellow power to stretch out her legs.
Now she was taller than Motor Ed.
"Ta-da!" exclaimed the elastic supervillainess.
"Whoa! Looks like someone has superpowers!" shouted the muscular man.
"I sure do. Don't be too surprised. Shego has powers too, does she not?" asked Atrosis. Luckily, she could dodge her fireballs rather well. No point in letting her catsuit get burned. Even if she had spares.
"Maybe, but yours are totally different! Seriously!" exclaimed Motor Ed.
"Yeah…Shego and myself couldn't be any more different…" remarked the blonde lady.
"But you're both beautiful!" shouted the mechanic.
"You flatter me. But don't forget that there's more to a woman than just her looks. DNAmy may look harmless but I assure you she's anything but." warned Atrosis.
It was a good thing her partner was a scientist or she might have stayed a frog. Though it was on the fence as to whether the transformation would wear off on its own.
Motor Ed left.
"Remember to take things slow…even if you like racing!" exclaimed Atrosis.
"I'm with ya!" shouted the mechanic.
Now that Motor Ed was gone, a sidekick with blonde hair that wasn't Ron Stoppable wondered what she should do next.
"So, you want to play chess? I've played it before." noted the woman.
It seemed appropriate for the two of them to play together, since they were both smart…and crazy.
"I imagine you'll make things interesting for me." remarked Professor Dementor.
"Of course!" exclaimed Atrosis.
She ended up coming out on top in the end, though it was a close game.
"I guess you're slightly smarter than I am…" noted the scientist.
"Is that a problem?" asked Atrosis.
"No. You give good advice…" answered the professor. He imagined she would make it harder for Kim Possible to find their top secret lairs.
"You flatter me." answered the partner of Professor Dementor.
It seemed she was going to enjoy living under the same roof as him.
It looks like Monkey Fist has been stopped.
Well, time to feature some more villains.
I imagine you love Atrosis but I figure she wants to let other villains have screentime as well.
Though you don't seem to mind her more or less being the most recurring villain. I do have fun writing for her though I try not to forget about Drakken, Doofenshmirtz, and Shego. Would either of these shows be the same without them?
I think I might feature those three as well.
