In this chapter, heroes and villains will fight. The heroes won't fight each other though. If it's a friendly match, it's understandable. But this is kind of an emergency.

And yes, I referenced the Nevada state motto, if you noticed.

I figured why not?

Not everyone will get it though (I looked it up, for example) so I decided to explain it.

Hope you understand it now if you didn't.

Chapter 58: For Our Country

"Let's approach Dementor through the windows, shall we?" asked Drakken. Approaching him from the gate would be too easily noticed. And besides, that gate was kind of sturdy.

They were currently inside the resort. Even though Dementor was more or less enjoying the outdoors. The weather was nice in Nevada, after all.

And of course, they were standing beside the windows.

To tell you the truth, Shego felt like she should consider vacationing here herself.

Nevada truly was a pleasant state.

Though to tell you the truth, being evil was surprisingly fun. Drakken and Shego actually both agreed on that.

"I don't know, this all seems familiar…and not in a good way." answered Shego. Why did this not seem like such a good idea to her?

Should they really be climbing down the ropes?

It seemed odd that Dementor was sitting there by himself.

He should at least have Atrosis with him this time.

However, Drakken disagreed.

"What's wrong with gradually descending using a rope?" questioned the blue-skinned scientist.

"Nothing in itself, but-"

"Let's do this!" exclaimed Drakken.

Gradually, they descended through the windows. Though Shego was indeed a bit hesistant.

When she noticed Dementor chilling at the pool, she began to suspect something was wrong.

Atrosis was always at his side.

And yet, she wasn't at the moment.

Where exactly was she?

Shego considered climbing back up the rope…

…but it was already too late.

Unfortunately for both Shego and Drakken, just as before, Dementor's minions were ready for them.

This time, Atrosis was included in the mix. Both Dementor and Atrosis had authority over the evil minions, after all.

"You already know what to do, right?" asked Dementor's sidekick. She just wanted to make sure. Though if not, she would be willing to remind them what their objective was.

"Of course we do!" exclaimed a minion named Larry. He had been there the first time, though at the time, nobody knew what his name was.

"Good. I'll still be helping you though, just because I'm nice…for a villain." explained Atrosis. Team Go ironically didn't realize that, given she wasn't what they were used to.

"That's why we like having you as our boss!" applauded another villain named Victor.

"I thought Dementor was." answered the blonde. He always seemed to be together with his minions.

But nowadays, he always seemed to be together with her as well. It was flattering.

"You both are." explained Victor.

"Oh, yeah." comprehended Atrosis. Professor Dementor made her number two for a good reason. She had superpowers, obviously, but there was a better reason.

As before, the minions began to cut the ropes with knives.

"Now I remember…and I wish I did before." remarked Drakken. Sometimes history had a habit of repeating itself…and it wasn't always a good thing.

"I find it somehow appropriate I'm the one cutting Shego's rope!" exclaimed Atrosis as she cut the rope of the fellow evil sidekick.

"I can't imagine why." snarked Shego. Were things ever going to change between the two? To tell one the truth, she didn't think so.

As before, Dr. Drakken and his minions (yes, this included Shego, unfortunately for her) fell into the pool.

And yes, there was a splash. Though ironically enough Dementor did not get wet. He brought an umbrella.

Shego could have tried tossing a fireball at Atrosis…but to be honest, that would likely cause the rope to burn. Her fireballs had a tendency to be big.

"This is what I was afraid would happen, more or less." noted Shego.

"I remember this now. Dementor really had a laugh at our expense, didn't he?" asked Drakken.

"I can't really blame him." answered the brunette woman.

"How did I know you were going to say that?" questioned the blue-skinned scientist.

Shego shrugged.

"I should do zis to Dr. Drakken more often, considering he's fallen for the same trick twice!" exclaimed Dementor. Their reactio was nothing short of comedic.

"I'm inclined to agree with ya!" shouted Atrosis. Was he going to learn from his mistakes? She felt that her boss did, even if his minions didn't. But she agreed that it was fun to watch.

"Why can't we agree on anything?" asked Drakken. It felt like they never would…except maybe destroying Kim Possible. They would cheer for the destruction of the cheerleader.

"I do admit that the Pandimensional Vortex Inducer is interesting. I sincerely hope you'll be careful with it." noted Shego. Though to be honest, she considered her boss to be careless after that incident with the stairs. DNAmy could have used a balcony though. She would give Drakken that.

"Of course I will! I remember what happened before." remarked the scientist.

"Good, I'd rather go for a swim in a pool than in chaos." answered the brunette. In fact, something she needed a break from being evil as well. Hence not busting Drakken out from prison. Though it was likely she would do so eventually if Warmonga hadn't shown up. What if he had to listen to Senor Senior Junior again?

"There is a pool here. How ironic." noted Drakken.

"Just as it's ironic that the pandimensional vortex inducer opens a rift the size of Nevada." continued Shego. It was possible that the rift could eventually expand, however. It would make sense since it was chaotic in nature.

Suddenly, she noticed Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable had arrived.

"Things just got more interesting." noted Shego. To tell one the truth, she figured things might actually be more fun this way.

It was probably going to be chaos though. She was fighting over a vortex inducer, after all.

"We're already competing with Dementor, but now we have to stop Kim from returning the inducer to its rightful owners, too?" asked Drakken.

Though to be fair, they did have to do that once before.

"Pretty much. I think Dementor might win this time though." pointed out the brunette lady.

"What makes you say that?" asked the mad scientist who didn't wear a helmet.

"You don't necessarily have the advantage of a superpowered sidekick anymore." pointed out Shego. Before, having a superpowered sidekick gave Drakken a serious advantage over Dementor. But now he had a way to even the odds.

"Why don't I have that advantage anymore?" asked Drakken.

"Hello! You want to send your minions after me? I'd be happy to fight them!" greeted Atrosis.

She giggled.

"Oh, that's right. How could I forget about her?" questioned the scientist. This wasn't their first meeting, though he hadn't encountered her the first time he was here.

"I think you would have a hard time forgetting her after she punched you in the face so hard she knocked you out cold." noted Shego. She made him black and blue…more black and blue.

It wasn't too surprising the two would become rivals after that.

"Well, that was a long time ago." remarked Drakken.

"I will admit I have underestimated what she's capable of at times." spoke the evil scientist's sidekick that had black hair. Unfortunately for her, it seemed Dementor realized that having a superpowered sidekick of his own would benefit him in the long run.

"I understand." nodded the blue scientist.

"Good, because I have trouble understanding you." noted Shego.

"I can't be something I'm not, which is not be crazy!" exclaimed Drakken. Though perhaps he could control his temper a bit better. Shego could do that as well, however.

"You are saner than Dementor, I'll give you that much." answered the green-skinned sidekick.

"Yes!" cheered the mad scientist who wasn't wearing red.

"Oh c'mon!" bellowed the professor.

At least he wasn't crazier than his sidekick. They were both crazy…if in slightly different ways.

Meanwhile…

"Well, it looks like you're free to go. I can imagine you aren't headed back home just yet though." answered Vivian. He hadn't thwarted Dr. Doofenshmirtz…not yet, at least.

Of course, she wasn't planning to do that herself either. Not with what was at stake.

Perry nodded. He wasn't going back home yet. He knew how dangerous villains could be when they decided to work together. There was Drakken and Shego after all.

Camille and Gill were no exception. Because of Gill, Camille could now transform into a mutant. And because of Camille, Gill could now trick people into thinking he wasn't dangerous by looking (if technically being) human.

So it would be best if they worked together to stop Doofenshmirtz and Fen. Luckily, Perry found himself with a partner not long after he moved to Middleton.

Vivian wasn't expecting them to work together.

But then again, both were comedic in their own ways. Fen didn't seem to have an excuse for his actions other than being msde fun of for his short stature.

Was that why Dementor turned evil? Then again, he had a sidekick who was taller than he was that he was always with. So it seemed he found someone that would respect him despite him being short.

"Luckily, I would imagine the space center isn't far from here. Otherwise, Doofenshmirtz might be more hesitant to rob it." noted Vivian. He didn't have as many hideouts as Drakken had. Though there was a main hideout for both of them.

Perry nodded.

"You have a vehicle, right?" asked the blonde girl.

Perry nodded again.

"Good. If we try to go there on foot, Doofenshmirtz and Fen might be gone by the time we get there." explained Vivian. And that wasn't an exciting prospect since that would more or less mean that they had won.

The platypus gave the thumbs up.

Sure enough, there was a hover car.

"I could build one of these, but I'm just one year away from my driver's license." noted the blonde. Though there would be nothing stopping her after that.

Perry pulled out his own driver's license.

"I guess we wouldn't be heroes if we didn't follow the law, did we?" asked Vivian. Admittedly, heroes could be chaotic, but that never meant they could do anything good.

The green mammal shook his head.

"I heard you're friends with a naked mole rat. It's appropriate since you two are both unique." noted the girl. Ironically, Rufus was not averse to suntanning.

"Grug." spoke Perry.

"Rufus is friends with a frog? Well, frogs are unique in their own ways. They can absorb water through their skin." pointed out Vivian. Humans couldn't do this though dousing oneself in water wasn't such a bad idea every once in a while.

Perry wouldn't want predators hunting him by scent, even if he had martial art skills.

"I heard that he took on a giant frog and won…even if it wasn't by himself. But then again, I also heard his brother is a giant frog." explained the blonde.

Agent P nodded. It was true.

"By the way, I think Norm noticed you picking up your hat." spoke Vivian. She figured it would be a good idea to tell him thwt, seeing ss he always listened to her. To tell you the truth, it was admirable.

Perry realized he didn't have the element of camouflage anymore. Now he was going to have to fight. Luckily he was trained for this.

Suddenly, Norm flew after them.

"And we have him to worry about now." noted the blonde. Perry couldn't simply punch out a robot…unfortunately, Robots were made of metal, which meant they were durable.

Perry nodded. Though he wasn't surprised. As a side note, he noted that while Vivian was smart, but so was he. He fought an evil scientist and won that way…though being strong helped as well.

She could fetch Oliver, but he couldn't actually fly.

And while she could work on that, making something that could fly that weighed as much as Oliver did would take some time.

She did give him a metal plating that would protect him from acid though. Might as well given what happened last time.

"By the way, I heard that not platypuses are green. Are you feeling alright?" asked Vivian. She could certainly hope so, at least.

Perry nodded. He was doing fine, though his color might suggest otherwise. Though the platypuses that originated from Danville were unique. He did have a sixth sense as with the platypuses in Australia though. It helped him avoid Doofenshmirtz's strikes.

But he still appreciated Vivian asking that, not least due to him once wearing a parcel…and forgetting that there was more than one secret entrance to his lair. Even he made mistakes. Though in his defense, he wasn't used to wearing one, as he was not often injured on missions.

He was grateful for that, as he was worried what would happen if he were incapacitated for an extended period of time. Would it result in a bad future? He didn't think that alone would do it but it could be a contributing factor. Something told him that Phineas and Ferb should be allowed to continue what they're doing.

"How do we stop Norm? You have experience." noted Vivian. Though truth be told, knowing so much about robots could very well give her an advantage.

Perry pressed a button and a paintball gun fired at Norm.

"This has a paintball gun?" asked the woman. It was kind of surprising, to be honest. How many gadgets came with that hovercar, anyway?

He nodded.

"I guess you prefer avoiding violence when necessary…I applaud you for that. And I suppose robots like Norm can be reasoned with." noted Vivian.

She wasn't sure if they could do that at the moment though. Norm was focused on serving his master. And his master was Dr. Doofenshmirtz, an evil scientist.

"I can't see!" exclaimed the robot.

Some of the paint had splattered on his face.

"I guess the robot doesn't have tracking software…yet." noted Vivian. She should probably be grateful that he didn't.

Perry nodded. Though it was best to think about the future and not just the present. Though sometimes it was best to think about the past as well. You couldn't change the past (at least not without a time machine), but that didn't mean you could learn from it.

Though to tell people the truth, they could learn from the mistakes of others. Museums and history teachers had their reasons for existing.

Norm ended up crashing into a building.

"That was effective, but I think he'll be back." remarked the girl. He didn't seem like the type of person that would give up easily.

Norm was like his boss, he was anything if not persistent. So they should probably try learning about him, even if he was technically their enemy. Perry already knew much about him though.

Perry wondered if Vivian had any more bright ideas.

He liked to hear what he thought, though she herself did the same.

"I'm going to call Oliver." explained Vivian.

She could use his help.

She pulled out her phone.

Inevitably, Oliver answered it when she dialed his number.

"Need help? I'm enjoying a pizza." explained the robotic son of Vivian.

His creator raised an eyebrow. She couldn't say she was expecting him to say that.

"How are you doing that? You can't eat." questioned Vivian. At least, she didn't design him that way. Though a soda would not be enough to short-circuit him. She had designed him pretty carefully.

"I'm enjoying the pizza my pizza bot buddy is making." answered Oliver.

"Oh…that makes perfect sense." noted the blonde girl.

They were connecting pretty well.

You could say the same for Vivian and Wade themselves, basically.

"Can you help us? I figured you'd be the best way to even the odds against Doofenshmirtz's robot." noted Vivian.

"Of course!" exclaimed Oliver.

"Might as well fight them three on three. Recruiting a superpowered sidekick to even the playing field against his rival Dr. Drakken was probably the best idea Professor Dementor ever had." noted Vivian.

Perry nodded.

Meanwhile…

"Hahaha! You can't get me from up here!" exclaimed one of Drakken's minions.

He was shooting at them from up above a five story window with a laser gun.

It seemed Drakken's minions were slightly smarter this time around. This wasn't their first time going to Nevada, after all.

"Cut that out!" shouted one of Dementor's minions…who was named Kenneth. It was getting on their nerves.

Perhaps this minion of Drakken's was a coward.

"Never!" exclaimed the minion.

Suddenly, Atrosis stretched herself at the waist so that she was at eye level with the attacking minion.

"Uh-oh." spoke Drakken's unfortunate minion.

Perhaps he shouldn't have tempted fate.

Atrosis could practically fly. She wasn't a flying monkey though. Even if she did work with Monkey Fist once.

She punched the offending minion (knocking him out) and then took his gun.

"Now then…" spoke the blonde woman.

Suddenly, she began shooting at Drakken's minions with the gun.

"Pew pew pew! Pew pew pew!" bellowed Atrosis as she fired.

"Irony hurts!" exclaimed one of the minions that was running away from the energetic sidekick.

Luckily, none of them were seriously hurt.

"Judging from the fact that Atrosis is acting like an excited little girl, I'd say that the fighting has begun." spoke Kim.

"Are we going to sneak in?" asked Ron.

As before, there was a gate restricting them from entry.

"Actually, we don't have to this time." explained the cheerleader.

Sure enough, someone did let them in.

"It's always a pleasure having a heroine like you around." noted the guard.

"I actually kind of agree." nodded Wade from the Kimmunicator.

Though truth be told, he should consider visiting Nevada himself.

"Good, because I'm pretty sure things are going to be even more chaotic than before this time." noted Kim.

"Why does Atrosis remind me of myself?" asked Ron.

"I assure you, I've felt the same between Shego and myself at times. But there's not going to be peace between us if she continues to work for my archfoe." remarked the cheerleader.

Though she seemed to be Professor Dementor's archenemy these days. Atrosis proved to be popular with the fans.

"We could watch the show, but we need to get that inducer back." noted Kim.

"Of course." nodded Ron.

I guess it's harder to decide who to root for when Drakken and Dementor fight than when Kim fights them both. Drakken is the underdog but that's mainly because Dementor and Atrosis have put aside their differences a long time ago. Though it turned out they don't have a lot of differences. There's a few but neither of the two are narrow-minded, would you say?

You can probably see how having Atrosis around gives Dementor an advantage. She's great at restraining his enemies.
