In this chapter, Atrosis will fight the evil Bebe robots. Can she win?
I figured I might as well have Atrosis fight them again…she's surprisingly good at it.
She managed to beat them without even trying.
She's going to put it in effort this time though.
Chapter 59: Evil vs. Evil
Unfortunately for Dr. Drakken, Atrosis had triumphed over his evil minions.
"I did it!" exclaimed Atrosis.
"We're not getting paid enough for this." remarked one of the minions. Unsurprisingly, his name was Red.
"Fighting Dementor was so much easier before she showed up." remarked Drakken.
Though he had to admit, her devotion to her boss was nothing short of admirable.
He was reminded of Warmonga, but Atrosis likely wouldn't be tricked so easily.
"How are you going to win? Your minions have toppled like dominoes!" exclaimed Shego.
She was still around, of course, but to be honest, she was considering going for a swim in the pool and letting Drakken deal with Dementor himself.
He was a bit too reliant on her, if you asked her.
"I should have paid them a bit more." noted Drakken.
"What are you going to do now? I don't feel like doing all the work." remarked Shego. Not again, at least.
"Relax, Shego. I brought reinforcements." explained the blue man.
Suddenly, three Killer Bebes showed up.
"Didn't you say these robots didn't work out for you?" asked Shego. They had turned on him because he failed to realize they were capable of independent thought.
Unfortunately, Dementor's minions were being clobbered by the Killer Bebes.
They were too strong, and too fast.
"They're too strong! And I don't even like fighting girls!" exclaimed one of Dementor's minions. Which was ironic given who fought his boss and his sidekick.
"I on the other hand, am disappointed by your lack of strength." remarked Bebe 4. This was simply too easy for them.
"How am I going to win zis time?" asked Dementor. These robots were too strong for him to handle. He had a plasma cannon, but he probably couldn't hit the Bebes with it.
He then remembered the sidekick he was with.
"Whew!" bellowed the evil scientist.
"I remember you! You're those evil robots that want to take over the world! Sorry, but that's kind of my job…and my boss's." noted Atrosis.
"You are nothing more than a pale imitation. You can stretch like us and fight like us, but you are not us." noted Bebe 13.
However, she vaguely recalled shutting down because Atrosis could do things better than them.
"Now that's just hurtful! Though I will admit we do have our similarities. I would never betray my boss though, let alone my parents who created me. So I guess I'm not you." remarked Dementor's sidekick.
"We had our reasons for that. He thought of us as his pawns…but he assured us that was no longer the case." explained Bebe 7.
From now on, he would not treat them like they were objects. They were their own individuals.
But even so, it felt good to obey their creator now that he respected them.
The three Bebes attacked, but Atrosis suddenly leapt into the air.
She then basically turned herself into a boulder.
Two of the Bebes were fast enough to avoid Atrosis, but Bebe 4 was crushed underneath her, leaving behind a pile of scrap metaL
"Something told me that they were vulnerable to being crushed." noted Atrosis. It looked like she was right.
"Why do I feel a sense of deja vu?" questioned a nearby Kim.
"I don't know, but it reminds me of a mannequin for some reason." remarked Ron.
This concerned the other two robots. Now they knew that Atrosis had a chance of beating them.
In fact, she destroyed Bebe 4 kind of easily.
"Bebe 4 has been destroyed! We must be cautious!" bellowed Bebe 7. No point in meeting a similar fate, if not quite the same fate.
Bebe 13 nodded in agreement. Atrosis was pretty strong.
Fortunately, when they worked together, they were able to prevent Atrosis from crushing them using their arms to push her away.
"You girls are smart. I'm glad you chose to contradict the stereotypes that blondes are not dumb." noted the girl. That stereotype wss often wrong and hurtful.
People did say she was crazy though, and she would admit that there was some truth in those words.
"That was our boss's mistake. There is more to women than their looks. But he understands that now." spoke Bebe 7. For that, she was grateful.
Maybe now Shego would respect him.
But then again, maybe not. Dementor and Atrosis were surprisingly mature, though. Even if they were both not right in the head.
"I see." nodded Atrosis.
Since crushing them was no longer going to work, she deflated herself, but leapt away.
The Bebes attempted to grapple her, but she moved away.
They hit the wall instead.
"Her agility is nothing short of admirable." remarked one of the Bebes. To think that she wasn't even wearing super speed shoes.
Although, those shoes got stuck to your feet after a while. Wade was working on fixing that.
"Sorry, but you're basically using my own powers against me…that doesn't exactly work." noted Atrosis. Knowing the powers of your enemy was surprisingly helpful.
"Perhaps we should choose her to be our queen." suggested Bebe 7. She would make for a good leader.
"But she destroyed one of us." reminded Bebe 13. She might not make for such a good leader after all.
"You make a good point." nodded the seventh Bebe. She was like a sister to them.
"Off with your head!" exclaimed Atrosis.
"What?" asked Bebe 7.
Suddenly, Atrosis punched off Bebe 7's head.
Bebe 7 walked around for a few moments…but collapsed without a central processing unit.
"This isn't going well." remarked Drakken. Two of the three robots were now down for the count.
"You bet." agreed Shego.
At this point, Bebe 13 realized she was in trouble. Though Bebe 7 got off kind of easy compared to Bebe 4. She was the only Killer Bebe left. And she didn't think she could beat Atrosis one on one.
Something told her she was in a lot of trouble.
It wasn't in her programming to retreat, however.
"Calculating threat level from Atrosis. Threat level: severe." remarked the last of the Bebes (Bebe 13j as she scanned Atrosis. Dementor had every reason to have her as her sidekick, however.
"Very flattering. Let's go for a swim, shall we?" asked Atrosis.
"Go for a swim?" questioned the last Bebe.
Suddenly, she grabbed one of the Bebes and restrained her.
"So this is what it's like on the other side." remarked one of the Bebes. Unfortunately, Atrosis was even stronger than she was. Who would have thought that a comet could make you so strong?
She then took her to the outdoors pool.
The Bebe realized what was going to happen.
"So this is what your intentions are. Tell my creator that I love him…even if I didn't at first." remarked one of the Bebes.
"Don't worry, I think he already knows. But seriously, who's the pale imitation now?" noted Atrosis.
"Why is there always someone better?" asked Bebe 13. It was a question she wanted to ask.
It was a question she figured she might as well ask.
She tossed the last Bebe into the pool.
The Bebe inevitably short-circuited and shut down.
"I guess that takes care of them." noted Atrosis. They wouldn't be bothering them now. Dr. Drakken could repair the Bebes, but that would take some time. Especially with the Bebe she had smashed.
Dementor applauded her.
"Who's ze perfect woman now, huh?" asked the scientist.
Atrosis giggled.
"Well, I'm not entirely perfect. I kind of end up at a loss as to what to do without you around. I feel like I can be independent if I really set my mind to it though." noted the woman. After all, she was able to carry out his plan to obtain money from the mayor…with some changes.
"You have a point…though something tells me you von't betray me…" remarked Dementor. The fact that she had never taken advantage of him (other than having him use karate moves to attack Drakken's minions) was proof of that.
"Why would I betray the best boss ever?" asked Atrosis. It didn't seem like a good idea. He paid her surprisingly well. Namely due to what an awesome employee she was. She was a better employee than Shego was, that was for sure.
Dementor's cheeks turned pink.
"Oh c'mon!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken.
"So much for relying on robots for doing your job for me." noted Shego. Though she had to admit, the Killer Bebes were impressive im strength.
"It would have worked if Atrosis hadn't stepped in." remarked Drakken. It was impressive how strong she was. And she wasn't even a robot. She was far too energetic for that.
"Make sure Dr. Drakken doesn't get the Vortex Inducer, will you? His impulsiveness makes me worry about what will happen if he gets his hands on it." noted Atrosis. Dementor could be impulsive too, but she trusted him. And she could talk him out of a course of action. She knew from experience.
"You got it, our secondary boss!" exclaimed a minion named Lenny.
"Thanks." spoke the woman.
Kim Possible and Ron noticed the short-circuited Killer Bebe inside the pool.
"I guess Bebes can't swim." noted the boy.
The upgraded model seemed able to cross water though. Otherwise, their former hideout would not have been located on a deserted island.
"Something tells me Atrosis did that." spoke Kim. She had a feeling that she was strong enough to fight robots. If she could fight the Bebe robots, chances are so could Dementor's sidekick.
In fact, she might have an easier time fighting them than she did, since her powers were very similar. And she also has the power to shapeshift. The Bebes were fast and strong, but so was she.
Although, the last time Kim had checked, the Killer Bebes had stopped obeying their creator. He failed to realize they just weren't his servants. They had a mind of their own.
Perhaps these Bebes had decided to stay loyal to his creator.
Had Dr. Drakken earned their respect?
It seemed possible.
"Maybe you're not the only one who can stop them. I find that to be relieving." remarked Ron. He knew he couldn't stop them. Though maybe it would help if knew more about machines.
Rufus nodded. He's good at sabotage though. The Bebes found that out all too well.
"True. It's important not to lose hope. No point in throwing in the towel when there's so much at stake." noted Kim. A world of chaos was not something she wished to experience.
Still, she was glad that Atrosis had also chosen to fight them.
She seemed to have an easier time, as her powers matched the Bebes to a great extent.
Since Drakken had planned ahead, Shego decided to fight the minions of Dementor.
She did rather well.
"Why does Drakken have to be our boss's rival?" asked one of the minions, a minion named Tony. They were stuck fighting Shego because of that.
It would be so much easier if they didn't have to worry about her green hands. Those hands were scary, Aviarius certainly thought so.
As before, Shego trounced the minions.
Her fireballs toppled them like bowling pins.
Though it also helped that she had superhuman strength.
She could thank her older brother for that, but they didn't see each other often.
"First the evil robot girls, and now this!" bellowed a minion named Cooper. Was Dr. Drakken and his sidekick simply too much for them? They liked working for Dementor, but…
"Apparently he thought he could create the perfect woman. But I'm sure I could destroy them myself if I wanted to." remarked Shego.
They just might not be fireproof.
"She's too fast!" exclaimed one of the minions. A minion who went by the name of Johnny.
Eventually, the minions had all collapsed into one single pile.
"Yes! Yes!" cheered Drakken.
"Is there anyone here who can challenge me?" taunted Shego.
Suddenly, she narrowly avoided Atrosis's fist.
"Darn it! I forgot about her." noted the green brunette.
Things just weren't the same as before.
"It's over, Shego! I have the high ground!" exclaimed Atrosis.
"The high ground? What are you talking about?" asked Shego. To her knowledge, they were on the same floor of the building.
"Oh wait, let me rephrase that. I'm about to have the high ground." explained the blonde woman.
"Huh?" asked Shego.
Suddenly, Atrosis kicked her rival off the balcony.
She screamed as she fell.
"See you around, Shego!" shouted the blonde.
"Have you ever thought of coming up with nicknames for people?" asked Drakken. It didn't seem like a bad idea. Shego came up with a lot of nicknames for people. Kim Possible was no exception.
"I know Shego does that, but I'm not Shego." pointed out Atrosis. She didn't even like Shego. No wonder she and Kim Possible were fighting.
"Well, it can be affectionate. And truth be told, I was once known as someone else." explained Drew.
"Maybe I'll call my boss Professor…Mymentor!" exclaimed the woman.
Dementor applauded.
Atrosis chuckled.
Meanwhile, at the Middleton Space Center…
"This is the place." spoke Dr. Fen.
"I like it! Maybe I could build a lair resembling it." noted Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Though truth be told, he had gotten used to Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. It wasn't hard to find his home when it was as big as it was.
Fortunately, it didn't seem that people knew they were there.
This would make their task all the easier.
"I would imagine that Perry has broken free by now." spoke Dr. Doofenshmirtz. He couldn't trap him forever.
"I'd like to see Vivian break free." remarked Dr. Fen.
And yes, there was an irony in that.
Fortunately, due to Dr. Fen's small size, he was able to sneak inside. He had ironically been made fun of a few times for his short stature.
He then began to stuff blueprints into a bag.
"I'd like to meet this James Possible." remarked Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Then again, he was the father of Kim Possible.
Kim Possible and Dr. Drakken just didn't get along.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Dr. Drakken were friends.
"Why do I get the feeling that Dr. Fen is at it again?" asked James Possible. That scientist had ultimately turned out to be nothing but trouble. Even if his voice did sound amusingly funny.
He knew that Kim Possible's rogues gallery broke out of jail at times. His former colleague Drew Lipsky was no exception. And usually, Shego broke out at roughly the same time that he did.
Still, sometimes they basically chose to stay there.
There were one-shot villains sometimes. Like Adrena Lynn, for example.
But then again, sometimes the fanfic writers chose to bring back one-shot characters.
Vivian was getting a surprising amount of screentime in this one.
Phineas and Ferb were currently at the space center.
Going here was basically a dream come true for them.
"You boys built a rocket into space? That's pretty impressive." noted James. They should seriously consider working here when they were older.
It was nice that those two boys were so interested in rocket science, though something told him there was about to be trouble at space center.
"We do our best." explained Pnineas.
At that very moment, Vivian and Perry arrived.
"I guess I can try dealing with Dr. Fen. Truth be told, he's not so tough." noted the girl. He lacked the combat skills many of Kim Possible's foes had, for one.
Perry nodded.
"I think your owners are here though. You keep your identity safe to keep them safe, right?" asked Vivian.
He nodded again.
"You need to take off your fedora and act like a normal platypus. That way they won't realize what you truly are." explained the blonde.
Perry felt great that he wasn't fighting alone.
Being independent had its perks, but truth be told, he enjoyed working with others. He and Rufus were kindred spirits.
He took off his fedora and acted like a normal platypus.
Truth be told, platypuses were not mindless.
But he did like to relax when he wasn't busy.
After all, he needed some time to rest after fighting Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
"Oh, there you are, Perry. I wasn't expecting you to be here." noted Phineas.
Perry nodded.
"Is Vivian Porter looking after you? I suppose you might as well since you always seem to be somewhere else during the middle of the day." remarked the boy.
Perry nodded again.
"OK, great." spoke Phineas.
Suddenly, an alarm went off.
"What's going on?" asked James.
"I'm afraid that Dr. Fen is trying to rob the place. He does like stealing the credit, after all. Now he's trying to steal in general." explained Vivian.
"Dr. Fen? I haven't heard much from him for a while." remarked Mr. Possible. Though he was now infamous around the space center for being a fraud. At least Dr. Drakken hadn't stolen his Bebe robot idea from anyone else.
Though truth be told, he hadn't seen Vivian often lately up until now.
"Well, I assure you that he's up to no good." remarked the girl.
"That doesn't surprise me." noted James Possible.
"Yeah…he once tried to smash my ex with a hammer." remarked Vivian. They were sworn enemies, after all.
"What happened to you and Oliver?" asked Ferb. Their relationship seemed rather stable.
"We both realized that a mother and son relationship worked better for us. I am his creator, after all." spoke the teenage girl.
"That makes a lot of sense, actually." remarked Phineas.
Suddenly, a bunch of robots busted down the door.
They did not look friendly. Though they did vary in shape and size to some extent.
"What's going on?" asked Phineas.
"It must be Dr. Fen! I think he hacked into them!" exclaimed Vivian.
Now they were on his side.
Things were about to get more complicated.
"You sent Dr. Fen to jail. For that, we're sending you to the hospital." spoke one of the robots.
"He tried to smash my ex. What else was I going to do?" asked Vivian. Though she wouldn't vehemently object to a leg cast if everyone at the space center got to sign it. She needed her arms to build more things, however, so it would be best if they weren't broken.
One of the robots attempted to grab her. A red robot with pincers for hands.
"I already got restrained once today…though it did help me with my claustrophobia." noted the girl.
Fortunately, she was fast on her feet.
"I guess watching OWCA agents has its perks." noted Vivian.
But even so, she got the feeling she couldn't take on these robots all by herself.
Fortunately, she did not have to.
Perry proceeded to fight the robots.
Likewise, Phineas and Ferb bombarded them with their ice cream blasters.
It was surprising how effective they were.
Perry considered joining in the fight to protect his owners…
…but on the other hand, it seemed Vivian was the target.
Vivian decided to contact Wade.
"Could you do me a favor and hack into some of these robots attacking me?" asked Vivian.
"Anything for you!" exclaimed Wade.
He shut down two of the robots.
Atrosis has a talent for fighting those robots, doesn't she? It seems metal isn't such a big obstacle to her. She is made of rubber though. Which is decidedly different from metal.
She's probably better at destroying Bebes than Kim Possible herself. Where was she when they were building more and more of themselves?
Probably eating chocolate donuts.
Her powers do give her an advantage, I suppose.
