The people had been turned into stone statues. Touma, Misaka, Kazari, and Nora were the only ones unscathed. The crowd of people stopped them from being noticed.

"What the hell is this?" Touma muttered.

"Since I sense traces of mana, they must be magicians," Nora whispered. "And that spell it must have been from the Medusa."

"Magic?" Kazari looked confused.

"Mana? You're a magician? I thought you were an esper?"

"I'm technically both but right now it's not important." Nora looked at the stage. "Right now, we need to take off those two."

"Wait I can't allow civilians to get involved as a member of Judgement."

Touma and Nora glanced at each other.

"We have no choice but to do this," Touma said.

"Besides we have a level 5 with us," Nora smirked.

Misaka looked serious "If that's the case let's do this."

"The plan's worked you can now proceed," Tia spoke on the phone. "I sense some people still moving, so they must have avoided it. I'll just finish them off."

Suddenly a blue rune flashed above Misaka. Before she could even react, she disappeared into blue particles of light.

"Misaka!?"

"What just happened!?"

"Found you." Tia had spotted them. "Don't worry she's not dead."

"So, she knows we're here." Nora stood up. "For now, I'll hold these two down. I now sense two traces of mana below us."

"Mana?" Kazari looked confused.

"So there are two more." Touma stood up. "Alright, I'll go check it out both of be careful." Touma ran toward the basement.

"Kazari, you call for help!"

"R-right!"

Nora launched himself onto the stage with tremendous speed. Tia looked at him in surprise while the lilac-haired girl on the other looked unfazed.

"You're the boy from that day." Tia glared. "My revenge came sooner than expected."

"Revenge? Don't kid yourself!" Nora launched several shadow chains at Tia. She responded by slamming her staff into the ground erecting a barrier, the chains bounced off it.

Nora created a shadow longsword and blitzed toward the barrier as he was about to cut down the barrier several swords of energy shot from it. He swerved back barely evading being skewered.

As he leaped back a beam of energy rushed at him. He barely evaded the attack by twisting his body but was immediately met with another powerful blast.

"Shit!" As he created a wall of shadow to block the attack it was ruthlessly destroyed in a matter of seconds slamming into him and launching him into a wall.

Kazari looked on in horror.

"Nora!"

"Eh?" Misaka was dumbfounded.

One moment she was in the museum the next she was outside of it.

What the hell just happened? Teleportation? She shook her head. Right now, that wasn't important she had to back to her friends. She ran to the door but as soon as she touched the door a surge of energy shocked her.

"What? What just happened?"

A lightning spear shot from her forehead at the door. Sparks exploded nearly blinding her but the door was still intact.

"What the hell is going on!?"

"Misaka-san?" a voice called out.

Misaka looked around to see Kuroko and Ruiko.

"Kuroko? Saten-san? What are you two doing here?"

"We should be asking you that onee-sama. Weren't you supposed to be on a d-date with that damn ape?" Kuroko spat out.

"Guys somethings wrong."

As Misaka was about to continue Kuroko's phone rang and she picked up.

"Uihara? What's wrong?"

"We-ne-ed he-lp!"

"I can't hear what you're saying!" the call suddenly ended. "Onee-sama what on earth is happening in there!?"

Misaka explained the situation to her friends.

"If that's the case we need to get in there immediately!"

"But there seems to be some sort of barrier blocking me from getting in." Misaka pulled out an arcade coin and pointed it at the sealed entrance. "So, I'll just bust it open!"

In an instant, an orange spear of light shot from her fingers smashing into the barrier. Despite the attack reaching speeds of Mach 3, the barrier was unharmed.

All the group could do was look in shock.

Touma rushed down toward the stairs nearly leaping off them. He entered a long corridor. The end of the corridor had two large wooden doors and multiple doors on the side. Touma thought about what that room could be.

That's probably where the other magicians are. Should I just rush in? There should be two of them in there according to Nora. Screw it!

Touma charged down the corridor suddenly the entire corridor was covered in glowing runes.

"Shit, it's just like that day!" Touma tensed himself for an incoming attack, but nothing happened.

No explosion, no swords, nothing.

"What?"

"Die."

"!?"

Barley blocking a large fist swung into Touma and sent him flying a few meters.

"Ugh, that felt like I got hit by a truck…" His arms were throbbing. He looked at his assailant.

It was a large bulky-robed man.

"Boy, you shouldn't be here."

"Thanks for the damn warning!" Touma stood back and closed the distance. He punched the man in the chin causing the man to stagger.

"What power, I, Al, will have to try even harder!" Al slammed his fist into the boy's chest with such force it launched him into one of the side doors. Touma's entire body was in so much pain that he found it hard to breathe. He realized he was inside a janitorial closet.

"Dammit..."

"Now that I get a closer look at you aren't you one of our targets?"

"Target…?" Touma suddenly remembered something. "You're with the church of salvation aren't you!?"

"…That's right." The man started walking toward him. "All you need to do is give us your right arm and I won't have to kill you."

"Like hell, that's happening!"

"Then die."

The moment Al reached out a clear liquid splashed onto his face entering his eyes.

"Aaaaaagh! Fuck! It hurts! What is this!?"

"It's bleach, you bastard!"

Putting all the energy into his body Touma slammed his fist into the man's chin with such power and speed a crack could be heard knocking Al out instantly.

"Huff…huff…that settles it. One more left."

Touma made his way toward the large wooden doors.

Nora's vision was blurry. He could barely make out what was in Infront of him.

Did I pass out? If I didn't pull up a shadow wall at the last second that would've killed me. "Tch."

Nora struggled to his feet leaning against a nearby pillar. "I guess I have no choice if my esper ability is ineffective I'll just have to reveal more of my cards."

He reached into the shadow and pulled out an object. A jagged dagger. It was a translucent rainbow color.

Tia furrowed her brows at the sight of the object.

"Oi, what is that? It's filled with such ominous magical energy."

"This? Well, it's just a little something that'll help even the playing field!"

Nora forced his battered body to charge at her. Even with his body feeling like it will collapse at any moment he never slowed down.

"Idiot, it looks like you haven't learned from last time."

Tia fired a beam of blue light at him. Its sole intent of vaporizing his body. As approached the blast Nora raised his dagger and pierced the beam causing it to burst into blue light particles.

"What!?" Tia. "What kind of asspull is this!?"

Nora darted into the crowd of salt statues and leaped onto the stage. Without hesitation, he lunged at Tia dagger in hand.

In response, Tia erected her second barrier expecting the same result as last time. However, as soon as the dagger pierced her barrier it shattered like glass.

"Tch."

Suddenly three orbs of blue light appeared out of thin air surrounding Nora.

"What the hell!?"

In an instant electricity blasted from the orbs into Nora.

"Argh!"

As his vision blacked out he could hear Tia's faint voice.

"Remember this I never come unprepared."

"Same here."

"!?" Before Tia could turn around a sharp pain pierced her back. Nora had stabbed her with his dagger.
