In this chapter, our heroes will be headed towards Feebla-Oot.
And so will Gill and Camille.
It seems to be a popular destination these days.
I probably won't have Dr. Drakken, Professor Dementor, and their sidekicks go there. Not yet at least. They don't really have a reason to.
Though if they conquer the world, they might consider moving onto other planets. Preferably ones that also have life.
Chapter 65: A Planet of Cowards
"Oh no! I haven't heard back from Team Impossible!" exclaimed Phineas, his eyes widened with fear. He was sweating all over.
Ferb was nervous as well, though he was typically calmer than his stepbrother. He loved Candace just as much as he did, after all.
Currently, Phineas and Ferb were in their house.
Unfortunately, it appeared that Team Impossible had run into more trouble than they expected.
Would their sister be rescued?
They could only hope.
"Maybe we need to send Kim Possible." spoke Phineas. Saving people was kind of her specialty. Ron would be up a creek without a paddle without her.
"Team Impossible was worth a try, but Kim is probably our best option." explained Ferb. She had defeated Team Impossible in the past, after all.
The redheaded boy nodded.
He decided to go to her website.
Luckily, he knew all about it.
"Oh look, they have a page regarding the villains they've faced." noted Phineas.
There were a lot of them.
However, now was not the time to browse.
It would be best if their sister was returned as soon as possible…hence Kim Possible being sent to rescue them. It just wasn't the same without her trying to bust them, though busting Phineas and Ferb was not a good thing considering that they made the lives of their friends better.
"Wait, didn't we once make a portal that could take us to different planets?" asked Phineas.
"We sure did." nodded Ferb. It was good that they had remembered it. Flying into outer space would take time, but it wouldn't be hard to get the portal working again.
"Perhaps we could help Kim Possible. Rocket fuel doesn't come cheap." noted the boy. Though knowing Kim Possible's father, he would be able to provide Kim with some, if not a rocket itself.
He should also consider bringing his friends as well.
It would be easier to find Candace if there were more people looking for her.
After all, Feebla-oot was kind of a big planet.
Maybe not as big as theirs was though.
"Who would be the best choices? Should we bring Irving?" asked Phineas.
He would most likely be excited to help.
So he would be a good choice.
As it turned out, he was currently chatting with Kim herself.
"You know, you remind me a lot of my cousin Larry." remarked Kim. He too wore glasses, and he also dressed in blue.
His outfit was a lighter blue though.
"Is he a Phineas and Ferb fan too?" asked Irving.
"I don't think he's met them yet." answered the cheerleader. But other than that, they would likely be kindred spirits.
"Well, he really should. Those two are awesome!" exclaimed the boy.
"Well, I am impressed with what they can do. But you should consider bringing a paper bag in case you see them again, which I assume you will." spoke Kim.
"Why not?" asked Irving.
The cheerleader suddenly heard beeping on her Kimmunicator.
"What's the sitch, Wade?" asked Kim.
"It's Phineas and Ferb. They need your help finding their sister. I assume you know who she is." explained Wade. They had once shared a cabin together, even if it had been some time ago.
"I suppose I might as well given all three are friends of mine, though Candace and myself have different stances regarding Phineas and Ferb." noted Kim.
"Why does Candace always try to bust them?" asked Irving. He didn't understand that. Wasn't what they were doing great? At the feey le
"They're too chaotic for her tastes. She wants to bring order to Danville, not chaos. Chaos itself isn'r necessarily a bad thing though. I didn't like it when I was forbidden from being a hero by Team Impossible. All they seemed to think about at the time was making money. I didn't think of them as being true heroes until they agreed to work for Global Justice." explained Kim.
"I think these three are awesome…but I see your point." nodded the boy who was forever Phineas and Ferb's fan.
"Mm-hmm. I should probably bring my supersuit for this mission. Just in case." explained Kim.
"Luckily, Dementor seems to have stopped trying to steal it." noted Wade.
"I should be grateful for that." nodded Kim.
At Professor Dementor's base…
"Whatever happened to trying to steal Kim's battlesuit?" asked Myron to his brother-in-law.
He seemed obsessed with it not too long ago. And he knew that Kim's cousin happened to enjoy wearing it as well.
He had apologized to Larry for kidnapping him, though he hadn't objected to that.
"Myron! What did I tell you about my restraining order?" reminded Professor Dementor angrily.
He had violated it unintentionally.
"My apologies. I'll stand back." said Myron.
He did just that.
Though considering that Professor Dementor was an outlaw, he wondered how he was supposed to call the police. It would really stink if the SWAT team burst into his hideout. He was living in hiding for a reason.
"I think I know why he doesn't want the supersuit now. He has a superpowered sidekick now. So a supersuit wouldn't really be necessary." explained Atrosis.
Recruiting a super-powered sidekick had ultimately been easier than stealing Kim's supersuit. In fact, he had recruited a super-powered sidekick without even trying, as he did not initially know about Atrosis's superpowers. Jack Hench had given him a hint how strong she was, however.
"Zat's exactly right, Atrosis!" exclaimed Dementor.
"Oh." answered Myron.
"And besides, the supersuit doesn't allow you to stretch like I do." pointed out Atrosis. It could repair itself, but it wasn't elastic. And it didn't protect you from electricity, either. Eric the Synthodrone had found that out. But she didn't have to worry about being zapped.
Being an electrician wasn't exactly off the table. But since she loved hanging out with Professor Dementor, she decided she would continue playing the role of the sidekick.
Though if Dementor did need help with electrical work, she would be willing to offer a hand. She would read up on it so that the problem wouldn't get worse, however.
That was one advantage she had over the suit. Though it also helped that she wouldn't have to worry about any projectiles being sent back at her, unlike Shego. She could attack at a distance, but she still used her fists to fight.
Though she wasn't sure if she could win against Kim while she was wearing it. She was kind of strong already.
She did enjoy a challenge, however. This was part of the reason why she fought Kim in the first place.
So maybe someday she would fight Kim while she was wearing the supersuit.
Elsewhere…
Shego was currently laughing.
"Why are you laughing? If you're laughing at me, you could afford to show me a little more respect. I know that Atrosis respects her boss…though I suppose you and Atrosis don't get along, do you?" asked Dr. Drakken.
He got the feeling that it was best not to provoke the elastic supervillainess. So maybe Shego should be a little more respectful to those around her. This was the reason Atrosis was fighting her, after all. Her lack of respect towards others.
"I'm not laughing at you, though I suppose it is an interesting turn of events. I'm laughing because one of the tripods those alien maniacs sent destroyed Kim Possible's house." explained Shego.
Dr. Drakken began to laugh.
"James Possible's house was destroyed? That is pretty funny!" exclaimed the blue-skinned scientist.
"You two don't get along, do you?" questioned Shego.
She hadn't really bothered learning about her boss's college life, but perhaps James Possible and herself weren't so different. James had a low opinion on Dr. Drakken. She would agree that treating women like objects was a terrible idea, at least. Women could think for themselves.
After all, it had caused the Bebes to turn on him. Luckily, reconsidering his stance on women had persuaded the Bebes to side with him again.
Though she couldn't help but feel a bit worried about them being left to their own devices. She didn't quite understand hiw a Bebe's robotic mind worked, seeing as they had a hive mind.
She had once read in the newspaper about various mechanical equipment being stolen. And blonde women had reportedly been seen at the scene of the crime. It seemed likely the Bebe robots were responsible.
Had Dr. Drakken unintentionally created a serious threat to the world? Doofenshmirtz had made evil pharmacists twice, though you at least didn't have to worry about losing your individuality the second time.
Then again, that had been some time ago, and Kimmie had likely taken care of the Bebes by then.
So it looked as if the world wouldn't have to worry about the Bebe robots…for now.
But they were about to have another crisis on their hands.
One that involved a highly dangerous plant.
Meanwhile, at Camp Wannaweep…
"Not another therapy session!" exclaimed Gil, his hands pressed against his head.
"I know. They're awful." noted Camille. Though she didn't exactly mind Gil's company.
They could tell another one was coming up, because Dr. Lurkin had told the duo themselves.
However, Camille realized there was a way to escape.
Science camp had built a rocket.
They could see it outside the window.
If they stole it, they could fly to anywhere but Camp Wannaweep.
So she decided to tell Gill about it.
"Maybe we can use the rocket they built at science camp to escape." noted Camille. It was worth a shot.
"Wouldn't we need to know how to fly one?" asked Gill. Given that he had initially disliked science following what it did to him, he hadn't bothered learning rocket science. Though maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all.
"Well, I know how to fly a helicopter." explained the blonde.
"You do?" asked the frog monster.
"Yeah. It's convenient for making a quick getaway." noted Camille.
Gil nodded.
The two decided to sneak their way to the rocket, while Dr. Lurkin was reading a newspaper.
It was all about the alien invasion, unsurprisingly.
"Why can't the Lorwardians be more like the Lovpeacians?" asked Dr. Lurkin.
Fortunately, they weren't detected by him, so they were able to enter.
The two put on spacesuits. They might have been mutants, but frogs and chameleons both needed oxygen.
Camille noticed that Dr. Lurkin had made a report detailing what he had found in space.
It was kind of like a travel brochure.
"Wait, has Dr. Lurkin been spying on extraterrestrials?" asked Camille. That honestly seemed rather rude. Though people said she was rude herself.
"Well, we wouldn't want to go to a hostile planet. Like Lorwardia." pointed out Gill. Chances are they would be hunted down if they paid them a visit, seeing as they looked like animals in their mutant states.
And even if they stayed human, there was just no guarantee of safety.
"Maybe we can go to Feebla-oot? The locals seem friendly." noted the blonde. Maybe they would let her walk all over them. Though it was on the fence as to whether she would become a celebrity on two different planets.
"It seems as good of a planet as any." agreed Gill.
Besides, it actually wasn't far from Earth.
So they decided to go there.
They pressed the big red button and launched the rocket.
Dr. Lurkin realized what had happened, and he spat out his coffee.
"Darn it! Why are those two so slippery?" asked the scientist.
And to make matters worse, they were leaving Earth. Who knows where they were headed?
As soon as the duo arrived on Feebla-oot, a resident discovered them.
"What are these two?" asked the alien.
Since the air was breathable (according to what Dr. Lurkin had found out about the planet), the two took off their spacesuits.
"This is too easy." remarked Camille.
"Who would have thought the people on this planet would be so chickenhearted?" asked the swamp monster. Part of him actually felt sorry for them. They were probably afraid of their own shadow. Though he could say the same for Ron.
"I know." spoke the blonde.
"I'd say we picked a good choice." nodded the frog monster.
Scaring the people would be fun, though perhaps there was no need to mutate them.
The slime Gill used might not work on aliens.
They decided to follow the coward back to his people's hideout.
Perhaps they would be as easy to scare as he was.
They weren't planning to actually hurt the cowards, however. They were not Warmonga and Warhok. And to be honest, rhe idea of a planet invasion sounded pretty scary (even if the two alien invaders had largely ignored Camp Wannaweep and focused primariou on Middleton, as that was where Kim lived). So they decided on relatively minor mischief.
Meanwhile, at the Super Super Big Castle…
Currently, the Super Super Big Doctor was gathering her minions for a planetary assault.
Conkerer and Conquesta were of course planning to join the fray.
They might as well finish what Warmonga and Warhok started. It was what they would want, to conquer the world and bring its world leaders to their knees.
"By the way, are you going to seek vengeance on the blonde that defeated you?" questioned Conkerer.
He knew that Warmonga basically wanted the ultimate revenge on Kim after what she had done (even if she had been fighting for a man that she had ultimately believed had been a con artist the whole time), but maybe she had placed revenge before reason. If she had studied Ron, both Warhok and herself could have avoided their fiery fate.
"Only if she interferes with our plans." answered Conquesta.
She was more worried about Ron, to be honest. She imagined that Atrosis would only attack if Dementor was being assaulted. Ron, on the other hand, was much more likely to fight back, he had destroyed both Warmonga and Warhok.
"Oh. Well, I imagine her elasticity wouldn't protect her from my icy daggers." pointed out Conkerer.
"You're probably right." nodded Conquesta. Electricity and ice were somewhat different things. If Atrosis decided to fight them, she would allow her battlemate to handle things.
Still, she would want to have more power juice made, just in case.
It seemed likely the effects would vary depending on the person. Since mind control was the doctor's speciality, she got psychic powers.
She also got the power to manipulate energy as a bonus.
Considering how great the power juice had worked out for their friend, they should consider drinking it themselves.
She decided to arrange for more power juice to be made.
It was unlikely that everyone would get to drink the juice (it took time to make the stuff), but it would certainly be helpful for their dream of galactic conquest.
"Time to make another transmission." said Conquesta.
She might as well give herself an extra weapon since they were invading the same planet twice. And no, the Lorwardians did not give up easily. Especially since they had found someone who would help with their conquest.
According to her people, the power juice would arrive shortly.
So everything was going according to plan.
Hopefully things would stay that way.
Meanwhile…
Since they were going to space, they had brought Meap with them.
Kim had also invited Perry, though his assistance would be secretive. Major Monogram had insteucted him to act like a normal platyous when Phineas and Ferb were around. He would share his secret with KP however. Monogram had allowed that since they were kindred spirits and would work well with each other on missions.
Kim actually wouldn't mind having Perry as a pet (as their personalities were similar), but she felt that he was in good hands with his owners Phineas and Ferb.
Perry had invited Meap, since he knew a thing or two about Feebla-oot. He told them that the planet was peaceful, but he couldn'r helo but shake the feeling there was something wrong with it. Hence his decision to travel with them.
"So, Team Impossible hasn't come back yet? I feel nervous hearing that." noted Ron. It made Feebla-oot seem like a dangerous place, though Meap himself didn't consider the planet to be dangerous per se.
"I understand, but we can't leave Candace to her fate." explained Kim.
Besides, the portal would allow them to get there quickly.
Just in case, Ron decided to contact Vivian.
"We're going to a different planet. Do you have something we could use to scout it?" asked the blonde boy. Unlike Gill, he looked like before he leapt.
"I do. Though I'm surprised you are going to a different planet." noted the teenage girl. Normally they fought evil on Earth. It ws surprising what evil villains you could find there.
"Candace ended up on one." explained Ron.
"You mean the girl who's obsessed with busting people? I've heard of her." admitted Vivian.
The blonde boy nodded.
In a few minutes, Vivian was able to send a search droid through the portal. It resembled a sphere.
The results were fast.
"Well, I'm detecting strange spores, but overall I'm not detecting anything dangerous." explained the genius girl.
"So the planet is safe?" asked Ron.
"As long as you're respectful to the residents, everything should be fine." noted Vivian. "Though just in case, I'll be going there myself to ensure the portal stays running. And I'll invite Wade as well.
"Probably for best." nodded Rufus.
"I'm going to a different planet! It's so exciting!" exclaimed Irving.
"Are you sure you're not from a different planet?" asked Buford.
"That's actually kind of funny. It's mean-spirited though." pointed out Baljeet.
"By the way, do you need help repairing your house? I heard it got destroyed during the Lorwardian invasion." noted Phineas.
"Well, I should count my blessings that my Cuddle Buddy collection remains untouched." explained Kim.
"I have my own Cuddle Buddy." explained Baljeet.
"That doesn't surprise me." answered Buford. He wasn't planning to tease him for it though. They were friends.
"I guess we'll make good friends then." noted the cheerleader.
"I appreciate hanging out with someone as smart as me, though I don't mind hanging out with a muscleman." noted Baljeet.
"That's me, isn't it?" questioned Buford.
"It sure is." nodded Baljeet.
"I think I'll appreciate being your friend as well. But keep in mind I already have a boyfriend." explained Kim.
"That's alright. A boy and a girl can just be friends." noted the brunette boy.
"Good aesop!" exclaimed Rufus.
At Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated…
"Man, when the Lorwardians attacked, it felt like a sci-fi horror movie." noted Vanessa.
"I know!" exclaimed Doofenshmirtz.
"At least I know I can defend myself. I took down a swamp monster. He has an accomplice now, unfortunately." remarked the girl.
"Ribbit!" shouted Newt.
"Yes, his relationship with her is kind of like our relationship. I don't kiss frogs though. Sorry if you're disappointed." apologized Vanessa.
"Ribbit." spoke the frog.
"That's fine? You'd rather kiss another amphibian?" asked the girl.
"Ribbit." nodded Newt.
"That's understandable." nodded Vanessa.
"Ribbit." said the frog.
"Chameleons aren't your type? I understand. They're two very different animals, even if they do have their similarities." admitted the girl.
Gill and Camille still got along though. They had similar personalities.
"I hope that if the planet is invaded again, somebody will save the day. Though considering Ron saved the day last time, who knows who it's going to be?" asked Vanessa.
Newt wasn't sure himself.
I guess this fanfic is basically a 65-episode cartoon now. I think I might end this fanfic after this arc…but maybe make another one that's a sequel to it.
It is getting awfully long, after all.
Is there any unanswered questions though? If so, I can answer them.
