In this chapter, Ron will end up a prisoner of the Lorwardians.

First Kim and Drakken, and now this.

Candace is a prisoner herself, but I wouldn't say she's a prisoner of the Lorwardians per se. I'd say she's a prisoner of the Doctor.

But yeah. Candace and Ron will both end up in the same situation.

I figured maybe Candace won't get captured alone. Ron seemed like as decent of a victim as any.

Chapter 67: Prisoner of War

"Oh man, what do I do?" asked Ron.

It was two against one. So the odds were not good. He always stood a better chance when he had Kim with him.

Not to mention that Lorwardians were physically stronger than humans. He knew Warmonga could beat Shego. Which was saying a lot. And she didn't even need her partner to do it, either.

It was times like this when he wished he had Kim at his side. He really needed her help in order to stay safe. Though Kim herself couldn't beat evil alone.

Rufus had gone to get help, which was understandable. He knew from experience how dangerous the Lorwardians were. Two of them were enough to conquer a planet. Though it also helped that they had tripods, and they had figured how to cut off their electricity.

Sadly for him, he had not seen the last of them. Even if Dr. Drakken had devastated their tripods.

Warmonga and Warhok weren't the only two members of their race, after all. Though they had been the only two members of that particular race he had met up until now.

He considered whether he should run himself. It might be for the best. The Lorwardians probably had tracking devices, however.

Suddenly, he remembered his mystical monkey power.

"I know! I'll use my monkey power! It worked the first time!" exclaimed Ron.

"That could work again, to be honest with you. But we've taken precautions against that." warned Conkerer. No point in blowing up along with their ship.

"We sure have." nodded Conquesta.

She remembered losing to Atrosis, though it was partly because she had gotten unlucky. Who would have thought that she had a rubbery body that could withstand her hammer strikes? So it would be best if she prepared for an invasion of Earth. She of course wouldn't be going alone this time. She had Conkerer and the Super Super Big Doctor with them.

She had to admit, her devotion to her partner was admirable. Perhaps they weren't so different.

"Huh?" asked Ron.

Conquesta used her Lightning Dragon attack.

When she did so, she slammed her hammer into the ground.

An electrical dragon rose from the ground and sent Ron flying into the air.

"Wheee…..owwwww!" shouted the boy as he was launched in the air and then shocked by the dragon.

Now he knew how Kim felt when Eric had zapped her.

It couldn't have been a pleasant experience. Though it also helped that her false lover was the one who was zapping her. Who would have thought he was an evil synthodrone in disguise?

Then again, maybe the hints were there. He did seem to be distracting Kim from her missions. And Kim did say he had surprisingly fast reflexes despite not training in kung fu.

"It looks like the juice is working." noted Conkerer.

"Good, this ought to even the odds." remarked Conquesta.

It would be a shame if Ron managed to defeat the two of them all by himself. They would be defeated before they arrived on Earth. And they weren't sure the Doctor could conquer the planet by herself with Ron Stoppable around.

He attempted to fire an energy beam at Conquesta in retaliation, but she dodged it.

It ended up destroying a mushroom instead. It wasn't a big deal for the Cowards though, seeing as the planet was covered with them.

"These Lorwardians are stronger than Warmonga and Warhok." noted Ron to himself. He didn't recall the two of them having superpowers. At least, not by the standards of their own race.

"We'd have to be in order to beat you." answered Conkerer.

"I guess you have a point." nodded the blonde. Something told him this arc would be over a bit too quickly if he used his mystical monkey power to pulverize the three villains.

Conkerer launched icicles at Ron.

He was forced to avoid them.

"How are those icicles not melting?" asked the blonde.

Feebla-oot did not have a cold climate. It wasn't like a refridgerator. Though it was on the fence as to whether the planet had four seasons.

"Do not overthink it. Just know that I like to turn my enemies into popsicles." explained Conkerer.

Ron punched Conkerer, sending him flying.

"Impressive!" exclaimed Conquesta's sidekick.

But he would need to do better than that to stop them.

Conquesta whacked Ron with her electric hammer in retaliation.

"Oww!" shouted the boy.

Conkerer then froze Ron with ice.

"Brr…" spoke the blonde.

Conquesta then shattered the ice with her hammer. Violently.

Ron collapsed on the floor.

"Man, you guys have really learned from your mistakes." noted the blonde. It looked like they had decided to stop underestimating humanity. That was why Warmonga and Warhok had lost, after all.

Maybe he needed Dr. Drakken's help to take them on.

His plant powers sure were pretty useful.

Now both Shego and Dr. Drakken had superpowers.

Who was next? Professor Dementor? He already knew his sidekick had superpowers.

The elasticity sure was cool. And so was the shapeshifting. Though she couldn't shapeshift quite in the same way as Camille could.

"We got him!" exclaimed Conquesta.

It looked like they had succeeded where Warmonga and Warhok had failed.

"Should we finish him off?" asked Conkerer. He had his daggers at the ready.

It would avenge Warmonga and Warhok. They would be forever remembered as the ones who had led their people to glory. Though deep in her heart Conquesta wondered if their ambition had caused their demise. Conquering planets seemed slightly dangerous work.

"Tempting. But I've got a different idea. Why not have him provide Mama with carbon dioxide? And besides, there are other ways to get even with someone." reminded the female alien warrior.

"You have a point." nodded Conquesta's partner.

A short while later…

"I've been shackled to an exercise bike? This can't mean anything good." spoke Ron.

He was indeed shackled to one.

Though he did wonder why they had chosen the exercise bike specifically. Was it because he was known for being lazy?

"If he slacks off, put on this monkey costume for me." ordered Conquesta.

She gave Toilet Flower a monkey costume.

"That ought to work." nodded Ron.

These two aliens seemed to know him pretty well.

Maybe that was why they had won. Warmonga and Warhok hadn't known what they were getting into.

He could only hope Kim would save him, as she always did. Though he ended up saving Kim from the Lorwardians. He should really thank the Sensei for that.

He wasn't sure if the Sensei could handle the two Lorwardians, however. They were pretty tough. And something told him that they weren't alone, either. They had this alien guard with them, at least.

"You'll spend the rest of your life as our prisoner of war!" exclaimed Conquesta.

"See you around, blonde!" shouted Conkerer.

"Aw, man!" pouted Ron.

The two of them left, though they were smart enough to leave someone to guard them instead of a turret. Dr. Drakken had destroyed that turret surprisingly easily.

"They got you too, didn't they?" asked Candace.

Ron was surprised to see the person who had been looking for, but he nodded.

"It was the Lorwardians who got me." explained the boy. They had been a bit too much to handle. Even with his mystical monkey power. That kind of power had its limits, great as it was.

He knew that there was someone else who had that monkey power, however. And it wasn't Monkey Fist he was referring to.

"I suppose it makes sense that she would make an alliance with other planet conquerors. But the Doctor and I used to be friends." stated Candace.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Who is this Doctor?" asked Ron.

Had she really gone to medical school? Or was she an evil scientist?

Toilet Flower pointed to the portrait on the wall.

"She's the one who's leading the invasion. She wants Earth's carbon dioxide so that she and the Lorwardians can conquer other planets." explained Candace.

"Why does she need our carbon dioxide?" asked Ron. Something told him that her race didn't breathe that. So it was questionable as to why she would use that machine.

"She needs it to feed her plant, Mama. It produces mind control spores." noted the redhead. As long as the plant was producing spores, she had the entire planet wrapped around her finger.

It was a powerful plant, given that nobody ever seemed to question her orders.

Although, the royal guard didn't seem to be under mind control themselves. Perhaps she really was able to inspire loyalty to some extent.

"She has a mind control plant? Reminds me of Dr. Drakken and his evil shampoo." remarked the boy. It was rather fortunate that nobody had bought the shampoo. For the most part, he hadn't planned it well.

Well, somebody had bought the shampoo, though they had never used it. That person was Dr. Lurkin. Unfortunately, Camille realized how Gill and herself could use it to their advantage against their enemies. It seemed like the perfect revenge scheme.

"Yeah…but something tells me this plan has a lot more potential to work. Everyone won't realize what her intentions are until it's too late. And there's something that worries me. I heard them talking about a machine." explained Candace.

"A machine? I seem to recall Warmonga giving Dr. Drakken an oxygen sucking machine once." noted Ron.

It was really something that could bring Earth to its knees. Like the Diablo toys Drakken made.

It was fortunate that Kim had destroyed it. He didn't know for sure how long he could hold his breath.

The people working at the Middleton Space Center would probably be lucky. They had spacesuits, after all.

"She must be using a carbon dioxide draining machine then." noted the redhead. It would be the best way to provide food for the plant.

"Oh man, if that plant really does consume carbon dioxide like you claim, no planet is going to be safe!" exclaimed the blonde. He could only hope that Meap and his people would be alright.

"Who knows what planet will be next after Earth?" asked Candace.

"Probably Mars or Venus." explained Ron. They were the closest. He had studied astrology, after all.

"Both of them would be good choices. I do wonder what aliens would be able to adapt to Venus's hot climate though." remarked the redhead.

The blonde shrugged.

Perhaps Mars was going to be first.

Though it was on the fence as to whether there would be a pattern in the invasions.

Nearby, the Doctor smiled with satisfaction.

They would be ready to depart soon.

It had been saddening that Candace and herself could no longer be friends, however.

But she needed to focus on the future.

Meanwhile…

Rufus approached Kim, telling her what was going on.

"What's wrong? You look like you just witnessed a fire break out at Bueno Nacho." noted Kim. It was a good thing that Ned happened to know the fire department's number.

Ironically, Atrosis would have a similar reaction, though Rufus and her had fought each other more than once. Rufus did work for the OWCA, after all.

"Scary thought." remarked Rufus.

If a fire broke at the Bueno Nacho, then where else would he eat? He didn't want to eat at the Cow and Chow. He was worried that one of the cows would sit on him.

"But it's something else, isn't it?" asked the cheerleader.

"Ron! Lorwardians!" exclaimed the naked mole rat.

"Ron's been captured by Lorwardians?!" bellowed Kim.

Her eyes widened with shock. This was not good news. No wonder Rufus was concerned.

She knew from experience that the Lorwardians were her most dangerous foes. Warhok and Warmonga had decidedly been proof of that. Not even Monkey Fist himself was as dangerous. Though he did make an alliance with the Yono. That had been scary. Not even the Sensei himself predicted that he would go that far in the quest for power.

It was lucky that Hana Stoppable had managed to save the day, or Kim, Sensei, and Rufus would still be statues.

Warmonga alone was strong enough to defeat Shego surprisingly quickly. Though it helped that Shego had an ego. Maybe that was why she went by that name…even though she wasn't part of the Go Team anymore. She had left some time ago.

And that was saying a lot.

Kim had still defeated Warmonga, of course, but she needed Shego to distract her for a moment. And she likely wouldn't have been able to pull it off if she hadn't been wearing her supersuit.

Warmonga was decidedly a stronger fighter than Shego herself was. Even though Shego herself was a former superhero. Being a Lorwardian had its perks. Though chances are not all Lorwardians were as strong as Warmonga was.

"Uh-huh!" nodded Rufus.

"Well, I suppose this isn't the first time something like this has happened." noted the cheerleader. She had once been captured by Lorwardians herself. And Drakken had been captured as well. Warmonga believed Drakken was a deceiver, even though he had evidence to believe he was indeed the Great Blue.

Luckily, he had been surprisingly helpful to her escape.

"Nope." answered the naked mole rat.

"Wait, what are Lorwardians doing here?" asked Vivian. She was pretty sure this wasn't the planet Lorwardia. The planet was too peaceful for that.

"Likely, they're invading this planet." explained Wade. Invading planets was what they did best. They were more dangerous than the Diablo toys. You had to do more than to destroy a control tower to stop the aliens. In fact, Dr. Drakken, Shego, Kim, and Ron all had to work together to take them down.

"That's a good theory, but I don't see any of their tripods. Didn't they use those to invade Earth?" asked the blonde.

She had read about them on the news.

"You're right. That is weird. Why aren't there any tripods?" asked the boy.

He would have noticed one considering how big they were.

"Maybe we should have a talk with their leader. She might know what's going on." explained Kim.

"Don't talk to her! She's a power-hungry despot!" warned one of the Cowards.

Everyone who wasn't being mind controlled by her was afraid of her.

Hence why they had decided to live in hiding. They didn't want her soldiers to find them.

For strange reason, this alien race reminded her of her boyfriend.

"A power-hungry despot?" asked the cheerleader. That didn't sound good. It kind of sounded like Dr. Drakken and Professor Dementor to be honest.

"She came to our planet and mind-controlled it with a plant." explained the Coward. One moment they were gazing at her spaceship and the next thing they knew they were working for her. Now their treasures were in her possession.

"She has a mind control plant?" questioned the girl.

Who would have thought that herbology could be so evil?

Then again, she had encountered a few villains who had studied herbology in the past. Duff Killigan had shown interest in it, for example. He didn't take kindly to being banned from every golf course ever.

And of course, Dr. Drakken had studied herbology as well.

"Yeah. It can mind control an entire planet. Luckily, some of us broke out from the trance." noted the alien. It appeared that the plant's power was waning.

"That plant sounds pretty dangerous." spoke Baljeet. It could put a venus fly trap to shame. He didn't want to imagine a world where they would be stuck obeying someone who would take over their lives.

"Yeah, I wonder if it can be stopped." wondered Vivian out loud. Would herbicide work? Then again, something told her that it wasn't a plant that grew on Earth.

"I hope. As much as I would like to rescue Candace, I feel like we should rescue this planet too." noted Wade. If Kim could save Earht, she could probably save Feebla-oot as well.

"Yeah. I know what it's like to be mind controlled." spoke Kim. She hadn't really remembered it, but Shego had. Though she found it boring more than anything else.

Drakken had suffered the consequences for that.

"We'll take you to our hideout." explained one of the cowards.

Unfortunately, the hideout had been invaded by Camille and Gill.

"Run! Run!" bellowed one of the cowards.

"This is too easy." explained Camille.

Wherever they walked, people ran away from them.

"When will they stand up for themselves?" asked Gill.

Was it going to be never?

Suddenly, one of the Cowards approached him with a stick.

"Stand back! I've got a stick!" bellowed one of the cowards.

"Well, that's progress at least." noted Camille.

She grabbed the stick with her tongue, then snapped the stick in two.

"Oh no." said the Coward.

"I don't get it. Why are they so cowardly?" asked Gill.

"To be honest, all this scaring is getting boring." noted Camille.

Was anyone else going to stand up for themselves?

Suddenly, an angry mob showed up.

"We've had enough of you!" exclaimed the leader of the mob.

At this point, Gill decided to transform back into his human self and applaud them.

"Finally! I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to stand up for yourselves." remarked the boy.

"Yeah, me too." nodded Camille.

She shapeshifted back into her human form.

"Huh. I feel a lot better all of a sudden." remarked one of the cowards.

Perhaps their lives were off if they didn't live in fear.

Nearby, our heroes were approaching the Coward's base.

"You think we can win against the Lorwardians?" asked Phineas.

"Just two!" exclaimed Rufus.

"There's only two of them? That's good. But two Lorwardians are threatening enough on their own." noted Vivian. It would take longer for her to order a pizza than it would for them to conquer a planet.

She knew what terror the tripods had caused. Luckily, they had all been shut down after Warmonga and Warhok's defeat.

"Well, I have super strength now. So it should even the odds. But then again, Shego had super strength and Warmonga was too much for her to handle." noted Kim.

So she probably couldn't take them on by herself.

But nevertheless, her super strength would likely be a valuable asset to their team.

Just as Wade and Vivian would be as well.

Suddenly, a spaceship arrived.

Meap showed up.

"Is that an alien?" asked Irving.

He felt excited to meet one. Though he also felt excited when he was around Phineas and Ferb.

"I'm here to help." explained the Lovpeacian.

"Good, we could use some reinforcements for taking on the Lorwardians and their partner." noted Kim.

"I'm sure you'll find some of them on Earth as well." noted Meap.

"Yeah. We should probably enlist the help of Dr. Doofenshmirtz." suggested Wade.

Perry nodded.

Even he couldn't take on the Lorwardians by himself. Though his training was rather impressive.

Hopefully, they would be able to save Earth, and perhaps a bunch of other planets as well.

If you're waiting for the invasion to begin, I assure you it's going to happen soon.

And yes, Ron isn't going to be able to save the day by himself this time. That's just how it is.

Though I suppose his mystical monkey power will come in handy.

And yes, this arc was inspired by Kim Possible's finale. Who would have thought that aliens would attack during her graduation ceremony?

I personally thought it made a good sequel to Mad Dogs and Aliens.

But it's also inspired by Candace Against the Universe.
