Juubi's Arrival
***Zoe POV***
We had just arrived to destroy the monster when I got a strange feeling that something was going to happen very soon and the event was going to have a massive impact on the realm as I knew it. Lady Artemis and I were the first to attain a visual of the monster and raised our bows in sync with the other hunters copying our movements. Without taking my eyes off the monster, which appeared to be a manticore; "Permission to fire Milady?" hearing the affirmative the hunters and I released our arrows with pinpoint accuracy causing the manticore to explode. However I noticed that just before the beast disintegrated I noticed the beast's gaze looked at some concealed object in the sky with an indescribable amount of terror, a sight I had never thought I would ever see; although I could not see the being I could sense its overwhelming power, anger, and strangely sorrow. Glancing at Lady Artemis I knew she could also sense the being.
***End Zoe POV***
"Show yourself, for you are outnumbered and already discovered." Artemis called out to seemingly nothing. Everyone was shocked when a teen no older than 18 stepped forward. At first glance he seemed mortal, but if observed closely one could see the defined muscles of his chest and arms, he seemed relaxed but was exuding tension; his electric blue eyes carried massive amounts of experience, sorrow, and a dead look that is normally only seen in the eyes of a warrior who had been in countless battles and had lost everything he had ever loved. "Interesting, I had expected you to sense me sooner Artemis. I suppose your skills have dulled somewhat." The teen spoke in a deep voice that sounded exhausted and full of sorrow, as if he had seen far too much and wanted to die but couldn't. "Who and what are you? You obviously aren't mortal, yet you sound older than Gaea." Zoe asked. The man chuckled bitterly and said, "I am the grandfather of the Primordials, father of Chaos and Order. Honestly I have forgotten my name, all I remember is the title my children have given me; Juubi Ookami. I envy you child, you can die, you can forget the deeds you have done, you can freely interact with the world around you without fear of destroying the universe with a thought." The man replied with anger. Suddenly the ground began shaking violently as if the earth was conveying the man's emotions. "My apologies, I never was skilled at controlling my emotions." Artemis was shocked the man was being so sincere, but none the less she had to take the man to Olympus for the council to interrogate.
