April 23, 20XX, America, Earth-33
I was burned out after a long day. Classes have been killing me sure it's my own fault for choosing meteorology as my major, but what could I do was either this or struggle as a farm hand. Sure, it's easy either way classes are difficult, but they are enjoyable. While I may hate farmwork, it's not hard work, it's just tedious.
I sighed in frustration. "Why is life always so difficult" I grumbled to myself, as I wandered to my dorm. Well, at least life couldn't get any worse.
I finally made it back to my dorm when I noticed a strange person waiting right outside my door. He was a tall thin man; somewhere in his early forties or late thirties as his hair implies from the white streak in his otherwise black hair. He dressed like a stereotypical mad scientist in his white lab coat that covered his white shirt, and black-tie assemble which he covers slightly under a brown vest. With a pair of green safety google hanging from his pale neck.
"Ah just on time," he said as he pulled out his pocket watch "but I suppose we're always on time even when we feel like we're late."
"Dude I'm not really in the mood to deal with some existential stuff today. You will have better luck spouting that ideology to the students taking philosophy." I told him sharply but not unkindly.
He chuckled at my response. Stepping forward he decided to introduce himself. "Well, my young friend my name is Professor Paradox and I need to ask a favor."
Before I could ask him about his strange name and his favor. He placed his hand over my right arm as the noise started to surround us with a green light enveloping us from where he placed his hand.

Earth 49
The lights faded to white and then slowly dissipated away, I found myself in a strange room that seemed like a hidden factory inside a cave.
"Where is Superman? Why did it fail." said a rough voice. Before I could call out, I heard the same voice reply "Calm down looks over there. I don't see superman, but we did bring someone over."
Two people walked over to my line of sight. They both wore batman suits with slight aging and tears on one of them.
Before I could say anything, a familiar voice spoke up. A very familiar voice. "Hello. Hello. I hope I'm not late." spoke Professor Paradox.
"How did you get in here are you with the regime." Spoke out the man in the weather bat suit, while the other reached to his side to pull something out. "No need for violence Bruce, or should I say Bruces?" spoke Professor Paradox with a hint of mirth in his voice.
Before either Bruce could ask how he knows their names he walks over to me. He lifts me up. "James looks at your wrist you may see something that may be able to help these gentlemen," he told me with what seemed to be a slightly pitying voice.
"Bruce take young James to superman he will be the key to your Victory," he said. I was entranced by the thing on my wrist, so I could not tell for certain who he was talking to. "Goodbye gentleman I will be taking my leave, and James remember that certain actions must always pass but variations can substitute them." Professor Paradox said as light starts to build around him till he disappears.
The Bruces turned toward me. With me giving off a slight grin towards them. "Well, I think I may be able to help with your problem," I told them as I showed them the Ultimatrix on my right arm. "We don't have a choice the multiverse teleporter is out of commission, and our allies need our help," said Bruce to the other.
Not even ten minutes later we were heading out to face superman in the bat jet. From what I could gather from the two batman is that I'm in the dc universe. All the heroes and villains are real which is very horrifying, furthermore, I'm not in a very safe universe the one I'm in is injustice versa.
While I tried to ignore that horrifying thought I instead moved my thoughts to Ultimatrix on my right wrist. While it was bulker in person and went further up my forearm it was very accurate to how it appeared in the show. While I was fine with the color scheme green isn't my favorite color while the red of Albedos was nice, I would want something more me. While my thoughts ran wild the Ultimatrix started to glow in vibrant green till the light slowly faded to a pinkish red. While the Ultimatrix still looked like the Ultimatrix it did change to a more rusted pink color.
Batman from the other universe turned towards me and asked about the light. I hummed before responding "From what I can tell the Ultimatrix was being influenced by thoughts, and from what it gathered it decided to change its appearance."
"Let's hope it does better than a light show when you face superman" mumbled the Batman of this universe. Before I could respond to that comment; we started to land. The Batmen jumped out of the plane as I clumsily followed them out. Once I got safely down, I noticed we landed on a battlefield.
"ROOOAAAARRR" was bellowed out from behind us. I slowly turned around hoping beyond everything that I was not about to fight what I thought, but my wishes were ignored. My greatest nightmare had appeared, it was Doomsday. The Ultimate Being. I ran for cover and tried to activate the Ultimatrix, but it would not transform instead I heard a voice similar to Yuri Lowenthal's "Ultimatrix in capture mode. Please find and categorize all unregistered DNA in the surrounding area."
Before Doomsday could get me, Batman jumped on the back of Doomsday. This gave time for the Batman of this universe to grab onto me and ran over grabbed me and headed to take some cover near the rubble. "James, we need you if you're the key to taking down Superman then we can use you to take down Doomsday as well," Batman told me as he watched his counterpart fight. I looked over and backed down to the Ultimatrix. "Batman, I can't help at least not now the watch is stuck in capture mode," I told him in a defeated voice.
"What do you mean it's stuck," asked Batman as he grabbed me by my shoulder. I looked at him before he started to shake me, and answered as I moved my gaze towards Doomsday "The Ultimatrix is in captured mode and won't let me use any other of its functions till I can scan all alien DNA in its radius." He seemed to understand what I'm getting at and followed my gaze toward Doomsday before answering the unspoken question. "Doomsday. You need to scan Doomsday," he whispered in a defeated voice.
