This Lucifer is based on Tom Ellis' character from the television and Netflix series, although I may consider giving him and Maze some of their abilities from the DC comics.

Is It Wrong For The Devil To Fool Around In Orario?

Chapter One

Club formerly known as Rico's, Los Angeles, 2011.

Lucifer Morningstar knew he ought to be ecstatic, thrilled that he had been able to get his unceasingly holier than though brother Amenadiel to go back to the Silver City by demanding he uphold the promise he had made to him in exchange for helping Amenadiel recover his precious necklace. He remembered how he had basked in a sense of accomplishment after his brother had begrudgingly left his new bar and how he had quickly gone about acquiring the right to use the property from a rather old but surprisingly lecherous landlord whose friendship Lucifer had gained during a night of partying and debauchery. Now all that stood between Lucifer and the vision he had for his future club was a little time and redecoration costs, easily covered by all the material wealth Lucifer had acquired during his many past trips to the earth. Yes, Lucifer knew that he had every reason to feel ecstatic right now and yet there was some small niggling bit of concern that had been with him since Amenadiel's departure that had refused to go away.

Now it had been a long, loooong time since he had been able to make the claim that he was close to his family in Heaven but there had been a time when Lucifer could say that he knew his siblings well, and even after all the eons he had been on the outs with his family "upstairs" he still liked to think that he knew his siblings relatively well. Therefore, Lucifer could say with a fair degree of confidence that he knew it was only a matter of time until Amenadiel came back to bother him again with his incessant demands that he should return to his "rightful punishment" and go back to ruling Hell. And even if Amenadiel did keep his word and stay away he suspected that it would only be a matter of time before he had to deal with more of his siblings coming down to try and badger him back into his old job.

Now Lucifer was not scarred of any of his siblings and would fight anyone who suggested otherwise but he knew that if they put their minds to it they could make his time on Earth very unpleasant. From sticks in the mud like Zadkiel coming in and banging his bloody stick on the floor demanding he heed his father's wishes to Michael causing his patrons to flee the bar with mass panic attacks. Hell Uriel could mess with him from miles and miles away just by blowing a feather into the wind and causing a chain of reactions that culminated with all of the pluming in the building ceasing to work for several hours. Yes, Lucifer's brothers and sisters would likely find some way to become a pain in his backside if they thought it was what their father wanted of them.

As for what their father himself would do well Lucifer could honestly say that even he had no real clue. With his seemingly endless use of "mysterious ways" as an excuse to justify his actions Lucifer wasn't really sure when or even if his father would bother to become directly involved in Lucifer's current plans. Oh his siblings might constantly claim to be doing the "work of God" whenever they tried to ruin his fun but Lucifer knew it was them either thinking that God wanted them to bother him when their paths crossed by accident or they sought him out when they heard he was on earth in the hopes that dear old dad would praise them on how thoroughly they had annoyed him when they returned to the Silver City. In fact, Lucifer had learned from his brother Jophiel that God had given few actual orders regarding Lucifer after his rebellion when the two of them had gone on a pub crawl several centuries ago and Jophiel had gotten completely sloshed. He told Lucifer that he had only heard of God directly telling Amenadiel once to take Lucifer back to Hell and since then Amenadiel had taken it that it was his sacred charge to tell Lucifer to depart whenever he found he was on the earth. This made it hard for Lucifer to tell when God was legitimately messing with him or when it was just his siblings dicking around on their own initiative. Now Lucifer knew that if God wanted to find him there wasn't really anywhere in the cosmos where he could go to hide from his gaze but if he just wanted to avoid his siblings bugging him then he did have some options, as while his siblings could see and sense much from the Silver City only their father could claim to be omniscient.

These thoughts of wanting to enjoy himself while not having to deal with his unwanted responsibilities caused a certain memory to pop into his head, a memory from several centuries ago when he had decided to leave Hell and really stretch his legs leading to a quick trip through several different worlds of the multiverse. He had found that on one of these worlds that the local gods had decided that they also deserved some time off from their divine duties and so had decided to seal their powers and live among the mortals as simple people, simply intent to enjoy the trials and pleasures of the mortal world to the fullest. Lucifer had been very interested to see more of that world were divine beings were so common, but he had not had much time to stick around that particular world as he had made a promise to a friend of his by the name of William Shakespeare that he would come and see the premier of his new play Hamlet. While Lucifer had enjoyed the play, he had unfortunately run into Amenadiel later that night and the two of them had one of their more heated arguments so Lucifer had stormed back down to Hell to avoid his sanctimonious brother before he had a chance to further explore that odd world that had caught his attention. Oh, Lucifer would remember it every once and a while but he always seemed to be occupied with something (or someone) else when the memories came up so he had kept putting his return trip there off for centuries by this point.

"Well maybe it's time I followed through on that trip" Lucifer said to himself as he sat on a stool in the empty bar enjoying a glass of top-quality whisky. "What's the mortal saying again? 'No time like the present'".

Lucifer finished the last bit of whisky and found himself liking the idea even more when he thought of the exact nature of how that world and how its deities ran things. In said world he had learned that the gods preferred to use the reincarnation method of dealing with the souls of the deceased so after a short (by divine standards) stay in the local version of Heaven the souls would be reborn again on the mortal plain, which was a boon for Lucifer since it meant that no angels or demons would be able to hear about his location through the afterlife grapevine since none of the souls would go to either Heaven or Hell. On top of that with so many divine beings residing on the lower plane at the same time it would make it harder for searchers to single out Lucifer's divine energy from the other divine beings around him, especially if he was staying in an area were many of them congregated together.

That last thought caused a grin to for on Lucifer's face as he placed his glass down and stood up "Well I'm sold, time to see what Maze thinks"

"What I think of what?" a feminine voice cut through the air as Lucifer's favorite demon and right had woman walked down the stairs at the entrance to join Lucifer at the bar.

"Maze tell me how attached are you to this particular city and bar" Lucifer asked as he turned to face Maze.

Maze quirked an eyebrow questioningly "not very" she replied "I mean it's nice, but we've only been her a week so it's not like I particularly care. Why are you thinking of setting down roots somewhere else already?"

"Possibly" Lucifer responded "I was just thinking of an odd little world I came across a while back and how I might like to go back and take a more thorough look around. Interested in joining me?"

Maze simply shrugged "will there be humans there to play with?"

"Oh certainly" Lucifer responded with a smile "Humans, elves, dwarves, even a few deities thrown in, it's a whole hodgepodge of fantasy tropes all bundled together in one odd little world."

"As long as there are mortals to keep me entertained, I'll be fine" Maze said "though I'm surprised you want to leave after all the trouble you went through to get the building."

"It's fine" Lucifer replied "I've been meaning to go on this trip for a while and I'll just pay the landlord a decade or two of rent before we leave to hold onto the building for us in case we want to come back and start up the club again."

The decision made the two went about preparing to depart with Maze packing their belongings and Lucifer paying a rather substantial sum of money to the land lord to hold onto the property for them if and when they returned to L.A.. That night with their preparations complete the two of them departed through a portal created by Lucifer to the chosen new world.

Orario, Six Months Later.

The sun had nearly set by the time Bell Cranel had decided to call it quits for the day and walk back to the inn he had been staying at since his arrival in Orario three days earlier. The young would be adventurer walked through the darkening streets of the great city with a heavy heart after his latest day of rejections by every god and familia he applied to join.

Bell had of course known that with his plain race and nonexistent experience before arriving in the city of heroes that it might be difficult to join one of the larger, more famous familia's in the city but he had still hoped that his conviction to become a great adventurer would win him a spot in one of the cities less prominent familis's had persisted. It was a hope that had been crushed time after time in his last three days of searching as he was turned away by every god and adventurer he pleaded with and treated as just another country bumpkin who came to the city with big dreams and no ability to back those dreams up. Now he was forced to trudge through the streets towards the inn he had been staying at for the fourth night in a row.

"Oh right" Bell suddenly said to himself "I only paid for three nights so I'll have to pay again when I get back."

With that thought in mind Bell reached into his pocket and removed a pouch that held all of his valis and quickly counted it, so he knew exactly how much he had to pay the innkeeper with. Unbeknownst to Bell he was currently being watched by a young man in somewhat ragged clothes and a hood a little way ahead of him who simply smirked when he saw where Bell kept his money pouch.

After he finished counting his money Bell pocketed his valis and continued towards the inn. He made it another fifty or so feet before he was suddenly bumped into by a young man who ran out of an alley next to were Bell was walking. The impact caused Bell to stagger back two steps and offer a quick apology out of habit before noticing the young man grab his hood with one hand and rush past Bell without a word. Bell just stood there confused for a few seconds before he felt a sudden sense of dread that caused him to reach for his money pouch only to find it wasn't there anymore.

With a panicked cry Bell immediately began running after the pickpocket only to see him now sprinting down the street himself. Now while Bell had yet to blessed with a falna he was still a healthy young man whose years of working on his grandfather's farm had left fairly fit so while he was not instantly able to run down the thief he was still able to keep him in sight as he chased him down the street.

The thief glanced back only to curse when he saw Bell still on his tail. Quickly altering his course, the pick pocket ducked left down an alley to lose him. Bell fearful of losing what little money he had picked up his pace to try and keep the thief in sight running next to the buildings towards the alley. Bell was just a few feet away from the alley entrance when the door to the shop next to the alley suddenly swung open. Bell was so close to the door when it opened that he barely had time to register the fact before his frantic pace caused him to slam into the wooden door with a loud THUMP.

It took Bells mind a moment to realize that he was now on his back and that face and chest felt very sore as he stared up into the darkening sky. Bell could only let out a low moan as his mental faculties slowly returned to him and he sat up on the cobblestone street to try and get his bearings, with the first thing he noticed being the very well-dressed man standing on the other side of the door he had struck with a somewhat sheepish expression on his face.

At first Bell assumed the man was an employee of the guild as his clothes were somewhat like theirs but looking at them more closely, they appeared to be less formal than what the guild employees were required to wear, though they were still clearly made of very fine cloth. The man himself was a little tall and had a slim build with a handsome face and short dark hair with dark eyes. His mouth was set in a somewhat embarrassed grimace, and he was bending down and offering a hand toward Bell, a hand that Bell took and helped him to stand on somewhat shaky feet.

"Dreadfully sorry about that" the man said as he released Bell's hand "Didn't mean to block your way like that, although you should probably not run so fast when next to the buildings like that."

Bell shook his head and tried to gather his thoughts as he replied "It's alright I was just in a hurry to-"

Bell suddenly stopped as he remembered why he had been running in the first place and dashed around the man to look down the alley only to see that it was now empty, with no sign of where the thief had gone. Bell let out another low moan before slumping to the ground again.

Seeing Bell's state, the well-dressed man seemed to grow even more uncomfortable and moved to stand next to Bell while looking down the vacant alley as well.

"I'm assuming that our unfortunate encounter a moment ago caused something even more unfortunate to happen" the man asked as he took his eyes of the alley and glanced down at Bell.

"Yeah" was the only answer Bell could muster up the energy to give.

This caused the man to continue to look uncomfortable as he stood next to his despondent young companion. After a few awkward seconds of the two standing together the door to the shop opened again and a woman stepped out to join the two on the street. She was an amazon judging by her collection and rather revealing manner of dress which consisted of two pieces of red cloth tied around her hips and chest respectively, with the cloth around her hips going down to just above her knees and the cloth on her chest was side tied and left everything but her breasts bare. She was appeared to be roughly middle aged but still attractive with short dark hair and a curious look on her face as she glanced at the two men.

"Is everything alright out here?" she asked in a curious tone "it sounded like you slammed the door into the wall Lucifer."

The now named Lucifer shook his head at her "ah no, just some bad luck with this lad" he gestured towards Bell "Who ran into the door as I opened it. As for what had him in such a rush….." Lucifer simply gestured towards Bell again in clear confusion.

"I was chasing someone" Bell said having regained some of his former energy. "A thief stole my purse and ran down there. I was trying to catch up when…." And he gestured towards the door.

Lucifer continued to look apologetic, and the women looked sympathetic as the two looked down on the boy on the ground.

"Well, that's unfortunate" Lucifer said "But it can't be that bad right? I mean your parents will probably just be glad you weren't hurt right?"

"…..I don't have any" Bell responded quietly "My grandfather told me they died shortly after I was born."

Lucifer looked distinctly uncomfortable "well I'm sure your grandfather will understand."

"…. He died last winter" Bell responded again.

The woman's face twisted into a look of sympathy while Lucifer looked like he was trying to desperately find some silver lining to grasp onto.

"Well, that's truly unfortunate" Lucifer said sounding very much uncomfortable "But while I hear orphanages aren't the best environment to grow up in they do provide a dry place to sleep and other children to be friends with, right?"

Lucifer was trying very hard to find a silver lining, but Bell shot down that hope as well by saying "I'm not living in an orphanage, I left my village and came to Orario to be an adventurer."

This caused Lucifer' shoulders to sag as he let out a long exhale and gave up on finding some silver lining to grasp onto. Beside him the woman stepped forward to grab Bell by the shoulders and lift him up into a gentle embrace.

"Why don't we talk inside" the woman holding him offered gently "Lucifer is quite good at giving people a helping had so I'm sure he can think of something to help with your situation."

"Me?" Lucifer said in clear confusion "I think you might be confused my dear Sybil, I offer people deals not charity."

The now named Sybil turned to Lucifer with a light glare "Come now Lucifer you can at least offer a helping hand to the boy after you caused him to lose his money."

"You make it sound like I took it from him" Lucifer responded in an offended tone "All I did was open the bloody door as he was running by."

"Oh, come now Lucifer don't tell me you don't feel the least bit of sympathy" Sybil responded "With how the girls sing your praises whenever they come down for a new outfit, I find it hard to believe you would be so cold to someone who needs help."

"….. Well I am loathe to not live up to the praise women sing about me" Lucifer replied after a moment "Although the subject matter their singing about is somewhat different than this kind of matter."

"Oh, we talk about that too" Sibyl said with a growing smile on her face "But tailoring can take a while so we go through a few topics while I work."

As Lucifer moved to join the other two and they walked into Sybil's shop Bell could indeed see that it appeared to be a clothing store as Sybil said though most of the products inside were clearly geared towards other amazon's as most would leave large amounts of skin exposed, causing Bell's face to heat up as he briefly imagined what the clothes would look like when worn by several of amazon's he had seen.

"All right then" Lucifer said as he clapped his hands together and leaned down to get eye level with Bell "It seems to me the simplest method to make amends here is just to ask….. I'm sorry I don't think you told us your name."

"Ah sorry my name is Bell, Bell Cranel."

"Well then Bell tell me" Lucifer said as he leaned towards Bell "What is it you desire?"

Bell was confused for a moment and before he had time to really think about the question, he felt words leaving his mouth involuntarily.

"I…. I want to pick up girls in the dungeon!" Bell found himself blurting out his most embarrassing desire to two complete strangers in an amazon's clothing shop.

The two adults simply blinked at the boy for a moment before tremors of amusement shook their bodies and the two simply laughed at his answer, causing Bell to again sink to the ground with a distressed whine as he felt his face heat up in embarrassment.

"Well, I don't believe I've ever heard anyone give THAT particular answer before" Lucifer said once he had calmed down a little "So your reason for coming to the city was so you could hit on women in the most dangerous place on the planet?"

"NO….yes….kind of?" Bell said as he desperately tried to think of a way to defend himself after his secret came to light "I mean I DO want to be an adventurer and face the dungeon like the heroes in the stories grandpa would read to me did. But he also told me that saving girls from anger could lead to them falling for you and all men dream of having harems and he always got really, REALLY excited when talking about girls and harems so….. I thought I might try to do both?" Bell finished meekly.

Lucifer was grinning in clear amusement and Sybil was still shaking with laughter after the answer he had just given.

"So, to put it simply you want to join a familia, become an adventurer, and then wow the ladies with your prowess in the dungeon" Lucifer said.

"Yes" Bell responded, still red as a cherry.

"Well then I believe I may indeed have an answer to your problems my dear young horndog" Lucifer said "I happen to be the proud owner of what is undoubtably the best night club in Orario, a club that can count many adventurers and their deities among its patrons so here is what I propose. You can come back to the club with me tonight and I will happily help you make the introduction of any adventurer or deity that walks through my door. If by the time the night ends you still have not found some familia to take you in, then I promise to use some of the favors I am owed to get you your dream job tomorrow. So how does that sound?"

Bell stared up at Lucifer gobsmacked "You mean it?" Bell asked as he hastily asked as he rose to his feet "You'll really help me find a familia to join?"

"You have my word" Lucifer replied with confidence "If there is one thing I want people to know about me it is that I am a devil of my word. Besides I haven't had a laugh like that in a long time so I'm feeling generous tonight."

With that Lucifer turned back to Sybil "You said three days for the new outfits, yes?"

The amazon simply nodded, having recovered from her debilitating laughter "Three days. And tell the girls to be more careful with their outfits during their "fun", any craftsman hates to hear about their work being destroyed because their client got a bit…. Overenthusiastic"

Lucifer simply shrugged "What can I say they love their work almost as much as the patrons do." With that Lucifer motioned for Bell to follow him and the two strode out into the early night air.

Lucifer and Bell quickly made their way through the streets of the city heading in a southeastern direction. Bell trailed behind the Lucifer a few steps as he led him to his nightclub.

"So, Mr. Morningstar have you been in Orario a long time?" Bell asked, wanting to know more about his mysterious benefactor.

"Just Lucifer please, I've never really been one for formalities. To answer your question no I have only been in the city about half a year, but I have to say I am rather liking my stay her. Lots of interesting sights to see and people to meet along with a few other benefits."

Lucifer gestured towards one of the magic stone lamps that lit the street the two were walking down. "I cannot tell you how much of a pleasant surprise it was to see all the innovative little ways the people here have learned to use those magic stones. Lighting, heating, cooling, the city even has a functioning sewage and plumbing system! A little extra valis and you can even get a decent quality hot water heater. I mean it does clash somewhat with the whole medieval fantasy aesthetic this world has going for it but I'm not going to complain if it means I don't have to deal with the smell of hurled chamber pots whenever I step out the door."

Bell wasn't sure what he meant when he said "medieval fantasy aesthetic" but he did agree that he did very much like the quality of life many people in Orario were able to enjoy. He just wished that it didn't mean that this city was one of the most expensive places to live in the world as it had bled his funds faster than he had ever feared it would.

After walking for a while Bell noticed were they seemed to be headed. The two were headed towards a large walled of section within the city that had a large tower of its own looming in the center, like a miniature imitation of the Tower of Babel at the center of the city. Bell also noticed that the light coming up from the district was somewhat different from the lights used in other parts of the city as it seemed to have a reddish tint to it. The two approached the norther gate to the district which was guarded by two amazon's who waved at Lucifer with clear familiarity. Lucifer nodded to the guards and gestured for Bell the follow him through the gate.

Bell followed Lucifer and felt his face heat up as he saw what was on the other side. The street was filled with people despite the late hour, and it was clear quite a few of them were adventurers from their armor and weapons but Bell didn't find his eyes drawn to them in this instance. Instead, Bell found his gaze switching between the many scantily clad women who stood on the streets, greeting the men who had entered the district with seductive curves to the lips.

"The first show of the night will begin in five minutes!" Bell heard a woman shout "step right up if you want to see sights that will keep your blood hot for the rest of the night!"

"Come on in if you want to see what just how wild we beastgirls can get!" Bell looked towards the speaker and saw a chienthrope woman standing in front of another establishment wearing what Bell thought was called a bikini only it had bits of fur around the edges just five minutes and you'll be ready to go at it with us like an animal till the sun rises!"

As Bell continued to hear similarly provocative invitations called out left and right, he just stood there in shock until he felt Lucifer pat him on the back, an amused grin spread across his face.

"First time in the entertainment district? It can be a bit much for newbies like you to take in, but I promise you it has some of the best clubs and brothels you could ever dream of. Not quite as good as mine though but still plenty of places to go if you're looking for a good night out."

Bell just continued to stare as Lucifer lead him into the district coming to a stop in front of a tall stone building. The building appeared to be made of a mix of marble and sandstone calling to mind images Bell had seen in storybooks that took place in the region of the Kaios Desert. The establishment must have been at least three stories tall and had glowing purple letters over the entrance that spelled Salome.

"Bell allow me to welcome you to the finest night club in the entirety of Orario the Salome" Lucifer said as he led Bell though the doors at the entrance "I got the name from a lady I knew a long time ago who knew how to put on a dance so alluring she could bewitched an entire court, king and all, after a single performance."

Bell just quietly nodded as he was led into the main room Lucifer's establishment. The floor was marble but was for the most part covered by a large assortment of carpets of various colors and designs, though they were all similar enough that Bell guessed that they must all be either from the Kaios Desert or be based on the region's designs. There were many low tables spread across the floor as well with each of them surrounded by clusters of large comfortable looking pillows. Strangely there were several raised platforms that were surrounded by pillows as well for reasons Bell could not immediately grasp. Along one wall was a large bar with several stools along its length and a large quantity of assorted bottles and glasses on shelves behind it. Walking behind the counter was a tanned woman clothed in dark leather clothes who Bell thought might be an amazon whose lips split into a smirk when she saw Lucifer walk in and then twist into a frown when she saw Bell next to him. Lucifer raised his hand towards her and moved to join her at the bar. Bell moved to follow him before he stopped when he heard what sounded like the jingle of several bells away to his left, causing him to turn toward the sound and stop.

Striding across the floor of the club was a beautiful young catgirl with long blonde hair that went down to her mid back. The jingling sound he had heard was several small bells that dangled from the bracelets and anklets she wore along with one attached to a ribbon tied on the end of her slender tail. She was clad in light blue strips of cloth that complemented her eyes of the same color with two strips looped down from her neck to cover above average breasts and two blue veils descending from a slender chain around her hips to provide what modesty they could before ending at her knees. If Bell would have to guess she was at least five or six years older than him based on her looks as she gracefully stepped up onto one of the raised platforms and looked towards one of the corners of the room. Bell followed her gaze and saw several people setting up a variety of instruments in that corner of the room and she nodded in their direction. One man standing behind a string instrument Bell didn't recognize nodded back and a moment later the sound of soft music began to fill the club and the catgirl on the platform began to dance.

It was not a kind of dance that Bell had ever seen before, nothing like the enthusiastic and joyful dances he would sometimes see people doing in his village during festivals or celebrations. The catgirls dance was much slower and more rhythmic and seemed to call attention to the curves and shape of her lovely body as she gracefully moved her limbs and hips for the pleasure of those watching which included several men staring up at her from the pillows scattered across the floor as well Bell himself.

Bell could do nothing but stand there and stare at the dancing girl as his mind went completely blank and he felt his mouth dry and fall open. Bell simply stood there and watched her for a few moments before he felt a hand land on his shoulder and bring him back to his senses. Looking to his right he saw Lucifer standing next to him looking at the same girl Bell had been transfixed by.

"Seems Sasha decided to start us of for the night" Lucifer said to Bell while glancing over at him "she really has a gift for dancing although hers are usually more subdued than some of the other girls. At least at the start of the night. Give her a little time to warm up and she can put on a show that can set this whole place on fire."

Bell turned to ask Lucifer what exactly he meant when he heard his guides name being called from behind them causing the two to turn around and Bell to become flustered again.

Approaching the two men were two incredibly beautiful women in outfits just as revealing as the blonde catgirl. One was a woman with a dark skin tone that made Bell think she was an amazon with short dark hair that fell to her shoulders and dark eyes. She was clad in a bright red bikini with swirling gold designs spreading out from the edges of the cloths. She had a very curvy figure and a friendly smile on her lips that made her seem approachable. However, despite how attractive looks it was her companion that drew Bells gaze the most, even more than the blonde catgirl had.

Standing next to the woman in red was a slender young woman with clear pale skin, long loose dark brown hair that hung to just below her mid back, and a slender frame but very feminine body. She was wearing green silks to compliment her dark green eyes. she had a sheer green veil to cover the lower half of her face and a choker adorned with a bright green gem around her slender neck. A green cloth fell from behind her neck over her chest to cover her breasts with small gold baubles hanging from the ends of the cloth to weigh them down and provide some semblance of modesty. Two green veils fell from a thin gold chain around her shapely hips and ended just above her knees. The only other items she wore were two gold bracelets on either wrists that were worked to look like interconnected golden leaves. But what probably drew Bells eyes the most were the two slender elongated ears that marked this lovely woman as an elf.

Ever since he was young Bell had been fascinated by the beautiful forest dwelling race of the elves. His grandfather would occasionally snicker about what he referred to as Bell's "fetish" but he had always been happy to share whatever information the boy wanted about his race of interest. Bell knew that the elves were a proud, magically gifted, and long-lived race famed far and wide for their innate beauty. He knew that they rarely enjoyed interacting with other races and preferred to not even be touched by those not of their own kind, leading to many of them favoring elaborate cloths that covered most of their skin to prevent such contact and preserve their modesty. A view that the elven woman standing before bell now with most of her body bared clearly did not share, a fact that surprised Bell so much that he had to keep looking back at her ears to confirm to himself that 'yes this woman is indeed an elf'.

Bell felt his mind go blank for a moment as he gazed at this woman of the race he had admired (see fetishized) for so long and he found that he could only really think one thing at that moment.

'It was worth it' Bell thought as he saw the slender lips beneath the transparent green veil shift into a smile as the elven woman looked at him curiously 'the journey, the repeated rejections by every familia I encountered, losing my valis, running face first into a wooden door at full sprint. IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!'

The part of Bell's mind not preoccupied with these thoughts seemed to hear the jovial laughter of his grandfather in the distance, but he ignored those thoughts in favor of what was in front of him.

"Ah Farah" Lucifer said as he faced the two women with a smile "And Leyla radiant as always. Am I right to assume this about the order for Sybil? She said she should have everything ready in three days so."

"That's good to hear" Farah the amazon in red replied, "I was starting to get a little worried with all the looks the others were sending me for ruining so many of their outfits."

"Maybe it will lead to you being more careful next time" Leyla the elf in green said next to her "you're lucky Lucifer made sure we each had multiple outfits or else half the girls working here would be naked tonight."

"You say that like we won't end up like that by the end of the night anyway" Farah replied with a smirk spreading over her features "Besides I think we might just draw more patrons in if we just cut to the chase and did without the outfits from start to finish, I know most of the men feel we can't take them of fast enough so why bother in the first place?"

"As appealing as I find your business strategy, I'm afraid I'm going to have to veto it" Lucifer said in clear amusement "While I do understand the appeal of such brazen methods I rather like how the dress code and decor complement each other. Besides I can name at least three other establishments in the district that prefer that method and are not half as popular as we are so the dress code stays….. at least for the first couple of hours."

Farah simply shrugged and turned her attention to Bell who had stood stock still for the entire exchange. She smiled at him in a friendly manner "I don't think I've seen you hear before, first time? In that case let me welcome you to the Salome the finest establishment in the entertainment district! Are you here by yourself or are you with a group?"

"He's with me" Lucifer cut in as he gave Bells shoulder a little shake "I am afraid I did Mr. Cranel here a disservice earlier so I invited him to join me at the club so I could make it up to him. Which reminds me can the two of you keep your ears open for any familia's looking to recruit, Bell would like to be an adventurer and I have promised to help make some introductions for him."

"We'll be sure to keep our ears open" Leyla said as she turned to offer Bell a friendly smile "Just be sure to come back and visit us after you've become a big, strong adventurer alright."

Being directly addresses by the elven beauty finally caused Bell to break out of his stupor "Y-YES thank you very much!" Bell yelped out and proceeded to bow at the waist towards the two beauties.

This caused a round of chuckles from the three around him before the two women went to greet a group that had just walked into Salome. As they left Bell couldn't stop his eyes from straying down to Leyla's hips as she walked away before he felt himself being led towards the bar by Lucifer again. The two sat down next the other and Lucifer turned to face Bell.

"Glad to see your enjoying the sights" Lucifer said with a teasing smirk "I was wondering if I would need to give you a good shake after you started gawking at Leyla like that."

Bell felt his face heat up for what felt like the dozenth time that day. "O-oh sorry about that. I've never been to a place like this." Bell turned to face Lucifer and asked "Um what kind of place is this exactly? Are the girls here…. Do the men come here to….." Bell trailed of as he felt his embarrassment grow.

"You're wondering if this is a brothel." Lucifer answered without sounding perturbed in the slightest before bringing his hand to his chin and adopting a thoughtful expression "I would have to say not exactly, or maybe not completely. I created Salome to be a place where people could gather and indulge in their desires without fear of being judged. As such while the girls are not required to sleep with the patrons, they are free to do so if they would like to enjoy themselves, that's what the rooms on the second floor are for. If they would prefer not to then they will still be paid for their dancing and keeping our patron's company down here. Along with the dancers we offer a large array of experience enhancing substances, mostly drinks but also a selection of items to smoke or inhale if they would like. All are welcome to come and enjoy themselves without fear of being judged by those around them."

Lucifer then gestured towards several of the patrons that gathered in the club "Our establishment is particularly popular among the adventurers which is why I'm sure we'll be able to find someone to take you in without much trouble. We even happen to have a few gods as regulars, so I'll be sure to introduce you myself if I see them."

Bell could indeed see that many of the people filing up the club had the distinct look of adventurers with their battered armor and the insignias of several familia's being clear to see on them. Bell felt his hopes rise higher than they had since he first began his search and saw Lucifer reach towards the counter besides them where two glasses had been poured while they spoke. Lucifer offered one to Bell who accepted it reluctantly.

"Um I'm not sure I can drink this" Bell said sheepishly.

Lucifer simply rolled his eyes "I will never understand that custom. I mean this city is fine with sending teenagers to fight monsters in the dungeon to earn money every day, but everyone starts kicking up a fuss the moment you hand them a drop of alcohol. As far as I am concerned if your old enough to fight monsters for a living then you should be old enough to enjoy a good drink."

He held his glass out towards Bell and Bell not wanting to be rude to his host clinked his glass against Lucifer's and joined him in taking a sip.

"There's a good man" Lucifer said as he smiled at Bell and gestured towards the rest of the club "Just sit back and enjoy the night Bell, you have my word that your familia problems will be taken care of before this time tomorrow."

Hearing Lucifer speak with such confidence helped set Bell at ease and he felt himself loosening up more than he had since arriving at the city. Perhaps it was best to just sit back and relax a bit, after all Lucifer had been very kind to him so far and he seemed absolutely confident that he could help him. With these thoughts Bell took another quick sip of his drink and turned to look out at the club with Lucifer.

The first thought that crossed Bell's mind was that he felt a bit chilly. The Second was that this didn't feel like the bed he had slept on the night before.

With a low grown Bell opened his eyes to look at the dark leather of the couch he had been sleeping face down on. He tried to adjust himself so that he was on his back instead but misjudged how close to the edge he was and fell to floor with a startled yelp.

As Bell picked himself up of the floor he took in his surroundings. He was in a large room with a marble floor and a bar running along one wall with a large number of bottles on shelves behind it. Another wall was taken up by several large bookshelves covered in books and assorted knickknacks. He saw that a third wall had a large doorway that opened out onto a balcony and the last wall another doorway that was too dark to see through.

Bell just stood there in confusion as he tried to remember how he ended up here and he felt his head throbbing, as well as why he was currently without his shirt and jacket leaving him in just his pants and boots. Bell began to look around the room for his clothes and saw his reflection in a mirror hanging on the wall. He decided to stop and examine himself to see if there was anything to be concerned about. As he looked at his torso and turned his body from side to side, he saw nothing obviously wrong and so he turned to take a look at his back and froze.

On his back Bell saw what he at first thought was an elaborate tattoo. On the upper portion of his back was a hollow five-pointed star with flame motifs to either side of it. Bellow that was several lines of script that he could not read.

Bell stood there in shock for a moment before a quick thought brought him to stand behind the couch he had been sleeping on. Bell knew that a couch of its size should be more than what he could lift on his own and yet when he knelt down and grabbed a hold of it, he was able to lift it of the ground with only a little difficulty. Bell stood there for a moment as he processed what the marks on his back and his enhanced strength must mean and he let go of the couch and raised his fists and let out a loud cheer of excitement.

The cheer plus the sound of the couch slamming into the ground drew an angry groan from the dark room and a moment later a rather irritated Lucifer emerged from the room, tying a knot to hold his red robe closed at the front.

"Bloody hell can't a man wake up hung over in peace?" Lucifer said as he glanced around the room and stopped.

"You did it!" Bell said as he spun towards Lucifer and then spun right back around to show him his back "You really did it! Thank you! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" And with that last thank you Bell launched himself forward to embrace Lucifer only to misjudge his ne strength and send the two of them to the floor.

Lucifer just laid there in shock under the overjoyed boy and could only let out two words.

"Oh…..shit."

The idea for this fic has been bouncing around in my head for a while now and since I currently find myself with some free time on my hands, I decided to give it a shot. Now I have a few quick statements to make about this fic.

One I am not sure how often I will be able to update my work as my schedule is kind of up in the air at the moment. I have a pretty good idea on what I want to put in the next three chapters so I am relatively certain that I can get them done before to much time passes but beyond that I am unsure.

Second I would like to give a shoutout to Dunce17 and his own fic "Is It Wrong for a Devil to have a Familia?" as it was what first put the idea of a Danmachi/Lucifer crossover into my head. So if Dunce17 happens to be reading this I would just like to say thank you for giving me the inspiration that led to me writing this.

Third there will be no lemons in this fic. I don't have an especial problem with fics that have them but I would rather not write about them myself. That being said there will be some things in this fic that could be considered by some as mature content, hence the M rating.

Fourth on Lucifers new club. I originally planned to call it Lux as well and set it up just like it was in the show but after thinking about it I decided against it as it seemed to clash to much with the setting and require technology not found in the world of Danmachi. As for how Lucifer ended up owning a club in the entertainment district when that is meant to be solely Ishtar's territory, well that will be covered as the story progresses.

Lastly, I would like to briefly address the use of drugs and other substances in Lucifer's club. From what I have seen from the show Lucifer does not seem to have a problem with people indulging in drugs and other addictive substances as long as it is done of their own free will. Lucifer is portrayed as something of a hedonist in the show and doesn't deem to see a problem with people indulging in their vices as long as no one is actually hurt and they are choosing to do it willingly. My belief is that he doesn't have much experience with seeing what substances like those can do to people in the long run as before the series he never stayed on earth long enough to witness what substances like that could do to people in the long run, only really getting to experience what they did to a party before he would be told to return to Hell. I do acknowledge that such substances can be dangerous to people but can't really think of a reason why Lucifer would keep them out of his club in Orario when the show makes it clear on multiple occasions that Lucifer has and does enjoy drugs on multiple occasions. It would seem incredibly strange and hypocritical to me for Lucifer to enjoy such things himself only to keep the patrons of his club from doing the same. Maybe further into the story I will have someone explain to Lucifer why such substances are bad and show him what they can do to people so he can reevaluate his view on the subject. I just wanted to make this clear to anyone who was put off by what Lucifer was willing to sell in his club.
