Sacred: This story mentions seizures and the disorder epilepsy, however I am NOT a doctor and had to do some research for this to be a bit more accurate. Please go see a real professional in order to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. And please stay safe and healthy.

Kai POV: I was sitting on the stairs, watching the others train and laugh, enjoying themselves. Basically, they were being as normal as they could be. I smiled at them and laughed quietly as Jay was knocked off his feet by Nya. Though I do wish that I could be like that too, but that's going to happen. Because unlike them I have a secret that I've had since I was a kid.

The truth was that I have epilepsy, though I have never been officially diagnosed, and have had seizures all my life. I had my first one after my parents disappeared, and I've kept it a secret since then. At first I didn't want to worry Nya, but now I didn't want to worry the others and become a burden. At this point I can tell if I'm about to have one and I work around triggers during battles, which has worked so far. But of course there are times where I almost get caught and I try to play it off.

I sighed and continued to watch the others as they had a good time. I wish I could just go lay down since I just had one this morning and it was early in the afternoon now. However, Jay and Cole made a bet and everyone had to watch. And now everyone was training while I sat on the sidelines. But then Nya came over, wiping her forehead.

"Kai, do you want to join us?" She asked, smiling.

"Maybe in a bit." I answered, still feeling a bit tired.

But she just gave me a look, sat down next to me and said, "Are you okay? You look worn out even though you haven't been training."

"I'm fine, I promise. I just need to get more sleep tonight." I reassured her.

She smiled at me and leaned on my shoulder a little. I did feel a little guilty for lying to her, but it's better than bothering her.

Just then the alarms went off and we all ran to the command room. Something was messing around and causing damage in the underground train tunnels on the far side of Ninjago City.

"What's going on down there?" Lloyd asked.

"From what I can tell, criminals are attempting to take control of the train system." Zane answered, typing on the computer.

"Well, we can't let that happen. Let's go!" Lloyd said, and we all ran out to our vehicles. But I was feeling a little nervous.

I still felt a little tired and I really didn't want to risk causing another one. But the others need help and there's no way I would leave them hanging.

We made it in record time, but the criminals weren't there, so Zane had to scan the area while we stood ready.

"It appears they have gone deeper in the tunnels. However, it's not clear why and they split up." he said once he finished.

"Then we will too. Jay and Nya, take the south tunnel. Cole and Zane, you guys take the west.

Kai and I will go down the east." He said, with all of us nodding. And quickly ran in the directions as fast as we could.

Almost as soon as we started running we found three of them setting up something on the wall. They were dressed in all black with their faces covered by bandanas. A style that unfortunately never dies for these guys.

Immediately, I launched myself towards the closet one, kicking him down. They were surprised and had no time to defend themselves from Lloyd. Who quickly knocked the other out. We tied them up quickly and checked out the thing on the wall.

"What exactly is this?" I asked out loud.

"I'm not sure, but…" Lloyd answered nervously.

"What?" I was confused by his reaction.

He fidgeted before saying, "Doesn't that look like a bomb to you?"

… he was right.

We took off as fast as we could possible run, and I tried to get the others on the line. "Guys! The criminal placed bombs in the area! Get out no-"

Then an explosion took out the ground under us and we fell into another tunnel. And it's not soft landing when the Green Ninja lands on top of you.

We both groaned and I nudged him to get off. He eventually rolled off, elbowing me in the process, and laid next to me.

"Thanks for cushioning my fall." Lloyd said, and I glared at him.

"No problem." I flatly responded, sitting up. I felt even more exhausted than before, but I tried to not show it.

He also sat up and turned on his comm link, "Guys? Are you okay?... Please respond." All we got was static and sometimes random words. No clear indication that they're okay.

"How many bombs do you think there were?" I asked after waiting a few minutes for a reply.

"...I don't know, but probably at least one in every tunnel." Lloyd answered, whispering a little.

Slowly, I stood up and held out my hand. "Come on. If we're fine, then they will be fine." He just looked at me for a moment, then smiled slightly and took my hand.

"Alright, then we better not keep them waiting." he said, and we headed off into the probably unstable tunnel.

Hopefully everything will turn out okay, and nothing will go wrong.
