He couldn't believe this was happening to him! Jaune kept on running after the car, he should be perfectly able to catch the car after all it was three times slower than the usual cars in Remnant, yet it kept on advancing getting further and futher away until eventually it was gone it took a turn and it dissapeared to never be seen again.

"No." Jaune said before hiding his head behind the corner, cutting his field of vision from the corner just to pull it out again, nothing had appeared. "No no no no!" He did it over and over again, to the point in which the people around him began to look as if he was insane and he really couldn't blame them. "For the love of Oum no!"

He was panicking. His breath was getting quicker and quicker before his desperate mind rationalized an idea. He pulled his scroll and called for Pyrrha the call was inmediatly cut without giving him time to hear the phone calling. Ren, Nora, Ruby, Yang, Blake, Goodwithch, Ozpin, his dad, his mom, his sisters, he called Cardin!

"Fuck!" Jaune exclaimed before throwing the scroll to the ground. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" He threw himself backwards making his back hit the wall as small tears formed in his eyes. "Fuck..." He began to fall to the ground, he put his legs against his chest and began to softly sob while muttering things such as help or callking the name of one of his friends.

He didn't really knew how much time he stayed there. Some people had seen him on the ground crying did either of three things. Look at him with sadness before walking away. Look at him and then walk away faster. Look at him as if he was some sort of turd and then walk away while muttering something about damned teenagers running away from their home.

He felt someone sit besides him. The person said nothing he or she just sat down besides him in silence while the boy kept on sobbing in desperation, sobs that were momentarly interrupeted when his scroll was put in front of his face.

"It's a pretty sturdy phone." Jaune turned to look at Ai Hoshino weraing a cap over her head and sun glasses, he supposed that it was something to hide her identity from the passerbies and avoid having her life ruined by some fanatic that wanted to collect some hair or some fucked up shit like that. "Do you need some help?"

Jaune stared at her in silence before gritting his teeth in anger. This was her fault! If she hadn't rented him he wouldn't be in this place and Gabriel wouldn't have abandoned him! Was the score his third try? Was Metatron punishing him because he didn't make her have a high score!? Then it was even more of her fault! He was in an unknown world because of her!

Jaune opened his mouth to tell her off, to insult her or maybe even to tell her to get away from him until he saw her eyes. She was worried, genuenly so. Jaune stayed silent before looking back at his knees and with some reluctancy he admitted what was happening.

"He left me." Jaune said with bitter tone. "He ran away and left me in another universe."

"...I'm sorry." Ai said before looking away from Jaune. "If I hadn't rented you..."

Jaune's grip on his pants increased, crumbling them a little.

"I-I don't know if this will help, but do you want to stay at my house?"

"Sure."
