As they prepare for what their future brings now, and as Charlie learns the truth. And this soon, that Orion is his real father and he has a life outside of the team, as Charlie and Averman. Start life anew here, as they were the first to make contact with Orion, before he started.

In being their assistant coach, as they were the start of his version of the team in joining with him now. That his mother contacted Orion 6 month prior, so Charlie has him and as he bonds to him. This is also going to leave out the tv show, so an alternate reality story. But the other clip to this is going to show a few situations of Orion's coming into the picture, just before Charlie chose him as their back up coach.

Disclaimers: The Mighty Ducks don't belong to me, the story belongs to me, everything else belongs to the disney company.

Chapter 1: Arrangements And The New Paternal Duck

The First Encounter-Charlie's POV:

Seeing the man look out the window, Charlie Orion/Conway froze up immediately and stayed put and grabbed Lester Averman and he nodded then. As he saw a second car pull in and a man dressed in a bright red shirt or sweater then. As they saw a third car barely miss the first, as they heard a loud whistle blast from the 2nd car and then a stern shout. "Freeze, freeze you two, stop!" the man shouted at the duo and they nodded sternly as they saw a cherry red SUV.

"Averman, don't move, time to show we changed, by making sure those idiots get nailed to the wall, they can't make us cheat, we're good, honest young members now. Starting now, watch the district slang, but that sounds like a parent, in addition to a coach and teacher." he said and Averman nodded. "Hold on, that sounds like your father, as though you're an adult." he said and Charlie froze up. "Dad, oh thank god, my dad saw everything." he said and Averman nodded.

"You idiots, that's my father right now, alright we just tell him the truth here, we're involved in Uncle Derek's attempt to get enough to call probation on these guys." he said and Averman nodded in agreement. "Charlie, Lester, better get over here, if that's you guys, come on." they heard and they nodded as they walked over to him as they looked at him as he looked out the window and he nodded. "Dad retired last year, my sister." he said and Averman nodded smiling.

"What's his name exactly?" he asked and Charlie smiled. "Ted Orion, or more accurately, North Stars #25 Ted Orion." he said and he nodded in shock then. "So your father is a pro hockey player, awesome, we can learn from him right now to get better." he said and Charlie nodded as they headed for the car then. "Yeah but this means we train every day, but currently we're coach-less, till whoever gets used to us, hopefully they don't leave." he said and he nodded.

"Dad, you okay?" he added and the man nodded smiling to the title. "I knew it, whistle and you're dressed in a school winter sweater, you're the school JV or Varsity coach. We're lucky, you instead of the spring line coaches, but there it is, only you sound like a cop when you're ticked." he said and the man nodded. "I am, but your immediate look is you got caught by your father son." he said and he smiled. "That's what I feel like here." he said and he nodded gently.

"Averman said you sound like me, just as an adult version of my voice." he said and the man smiled gently at that. "Then of all the people to get seen by it had to be me, your father son, fortunately your immediate reaction to responding to my voice. Saved you from trouble, but them taking off, signaled they're the masterminds for this stunt. As for the name, I know only one Averman and his name is Richard Averman, he named his son Lester, in total truth now."

"But that's enough of this, but now maybe a good time to stop hanging around with those guys, and you and your friend, after my practice is over. You just spend time with me, your mother and his parents won't mind, they know where you are now. Being as I'm a friend of the family in his case, but your game could use a little work. But if none of your previous ones, never had the time nor patience, well I do, as I'm a school teacher, kiddo." he said and Charlie nodded then.

"Dad, Uncle Derek needed help in catching these guys for malicious mischief." he said and the man nodded sternly. "And you and Lester got involved to help out, and instead of malicious mischief, we nearly have a 3 car pile up, okay, well you're off the hook, son. Lester, I'll tell your father that Hank needed help in catching these guys." he said and he nodded. "Just got off Uncle Ted?" he asked and the man nodded. "Yeah, Riley lost his temper." he said and they nodded.

"That's my father everyone, the Coach of the Eden Hall, J.V. hockey team, my name is Charlie Theodore Orion, son of Coach Ted Orion." he said and they nodded. "So you're working with the cops to catch these greasers kiddo, in the act of whatever illegal stunt there is?" the man in the first car asked and he nodded. "Yeah that's right Sir, my uncle, maternal uncle is on cub duty and these guys are close to J.H., for these stunts, my best friend and I are cub recruits here."

"Whoever else is watching this right now, in witnesses for the last hour, I'm an undercover cub for the cub unit in the cops, my partner is my best friend, Lester Averman?" Charlie shouted out and everyone watching nodded in relief. "Uncle Derek is on cub duty at your school, and I know the initials stand for Eden Hall, we had another unit. In doing younger than teenager, their frequent aggravation are those two." he said and his adult counterpart nodded in understanding.

Looking into his eyes, he saw his own. "Yeah I'm starting to see it now, your mother said that you look like me, but seeing you at this age, I definitely see it." he said and Charlie smiled then. "Well that's not a coincidence, but I think I gained your love for hockey right now, but you being my coach and the team's future assistant coach that really helps. But what did you look like, what you were my age exactly?" he asked him and he gave him a picture and he saw himself.

With his friends: the Halls, Guy Germaine, Greg Goldberg, Connie Monroe and Lester Averman. "Averman, you better see this, but this is our parents at 9 to preteens." he said and he took the picture and saw themselves and the quartet then. "That's you, me, Connie, Guy, the Halls and Goldberg, jeesh that's 3/4's of the entire team right now. Well I see where Connie got her love for the sport from, it's Aunt Claire now." he said and the man nodded as Charlie said it quickly.

"Averman, check on the other guy!" he said and he nodded as he went to check the first car then and the man nodded in relief then, as Charlie grabbed the bag and chucked it in the garbage can then. "That was too close, any closer they would have caused 3 car pile up and $300,000 worth of damage here." he said and the Coach nodded sternly then. "We reached our limit here with the constant trouble making and now he nearly gets us arrested here right now."

"Well this is the end of the line Averman." Charlie said and he nodded sternly in agreement. "Did these idiots ever consider, we had our new coach arriving in time to see the truth here. We're portraying Eli's new character of next year, they're Mac, and our new coach, your father. Would take our word against their's any day of the week here?" he asked and said man nodded. "Yes Rick and I would take your word over his any day of the week, if they keep getting in trouble."

"But I saw everything here, and I could tell you had nothing to do with this, but them actually coming out into the open, both Coach Orion and I saw everything here. But Jesus, you little monsters, are you trying to kill someone here!" they heard and he turned to the other driver. "I hear that, but you okay over there, no injuries?" he asked and the man nodded. "Well we had the entire block see this, to know this wasn't you after you froze up." he called back to him.

"You okay?" Charlie shouted out to the driver of the 3rd car and he nodded in relief. "Fine, but if that's not crossing the line and nothing is right now, Charlie, what are you doing out here. It's getting late, but wait til their parents hear this, but that wasn't the darn paper bag on fire. Did it ever cross their minds that just stopping suddenly could cause a car accident, in a 2 to 3 car pile up?" the second driver asked and the driver of the car in front of him got out and moved them.

"Mr. Porter!" Charlie said in amazement and he nodded gently. "One of my mother's frequent customers at the diner, she works at Mickey's diner and the construction site workers go there." he said and the coach nodded. "Nice timing, but at least this gives us a clear case of nearly not you or Averman, let me guess, Peter and David did it again, and this time. They nearly caused a 3-car pile up here, Charlie?" the worker asked and he nodded as the first driver said it gently.

"Yeah and what's worse then the cops exactly giving that shout out?" he asked and the coach nodded. "And that would be your own coach or said player's father who is one and of all the people that catch these guys in the act it could be both as you're mine. Your mother said she divorced Richard, so single?" the man said and he nodded gently. "Yes Sir, but mom switched her name back Orion, so Charlie Orion now." he said and he nodded gently then smiling.

"Derek Jacobs, his twin Casey and our friends, the Monroes, Halls, Avermans, Goldbergs and Germaines." he said in response and Averman froze up at that in shock. "Whoa, you know my father?" he asked and he nodded. "Ricky, yeah I do, but I know 80% of the team in personal life, but if you walked right into me, I got to let the guys, Claire and Casey know I back." he said and they nodded smiling. "I'm retired, pro hockey." he said and they nodded smiling gently.

"You're a pro hockey player and you're training young athletes here, man if your current set are not conforming, they're screwed here, who is it exactly?" Charlie asked and he crossed his arms. "Jack Reilly's last set, they're my current team." he said and they nodded in disgust. "The Hawks older brothers are your current set and they're refusing your training. Dead man walking, if you became our coach, we'd destroy their brothers." Averman said and he nodded gently to him.

"And with those words, if you ever need a back up coach, I can do that guys, aside from that, with the fact I know your parents in 70% of you guys. As you guys look like me and Rick in all truth, let me guess, but Claire, Jason, Adam and Joe's kids all look like a cub version." he said and they nodded. "Yeah the quartet and we are a 10 year old version to our adult counterparts." Charlie said and he nodded as they heard a firm tone from the black car's driver then gently.

"Where are those monsters?" The first driver asked sternly to this then and Charlie shook his head at that remark then. "I don't know and if this is not the blasted dummy over the bridge railing and nothing is right now in truth. But I guess it never crossed their minds of us checking on you to see if you're fine changes things so quickly. That lets us off as we had no idea what he had in mind right now, but we just turned them into you right now anyway, Coach."

"Just go ahead and say it though here now, Sirs, they're Culkin in that sociopathic nature, we're his counterpart, the narrator." Averman said and the trio nodded at that. "Good thing we stayed put, and is that a booster seat in your car, Sir?" he asked and the red sweatered wearing man nodded gently. "My daughter, your sister, I just got off practice at the moment, my baby girl goes to your grade school." he said and Charlie nodded as he looked at him gently then at that.

"Lovely timing, we walk right into who very well could be our very last coach right now, if they chose your best friend to coach us next." he said and the man nodded. "That and the fact I'm your father, your mentor in truth, but these little brats now. Did that thought ever occur to them, I could be coming down the block and barely miss it here?" he said sternly and Charlie nodded as he left his hand on the window frame at that remark, as he looked between them.

"I'm going to kill those idiots, one car accident last year, what about now, I'm not being accomplice this, you're my father, and they barely killed both of you." he said and he nodded as he looked into his eyes. "Me too, they're going down, but they're not taking us with them, so Charlie, red team, they're white team, if we get into his school. Because you're my alpha, my best friend, we're the masterminds for whatever cruel joke there is." Averman said to him then.

As he answered him then gently. "Took off right now, but that was his idea, not ours, we're working for the cops here, we had no idea he was going to trick you into that." he said and the first driver nodded sternly. "And what if that caused a pile up, did that ever occur to these brats, huh?" Coach Theodore 'Ted' Orion said sternly and he shook his head. "No it didn't, uh..., Coach." Averman said and the man nodded gently to him then to confirm that thought then.

"Just got off work and you run right into us huh?" Averman said, sighing in relief and he nodded as he looked between them. "Yep, but there we go, with you working for Derek, I can get you off, on this, but as everyone heard your brother. Then everyone knows you guys are working for the cops on this one, but that practical joke could have caused a traffic accident, if you never grabbed it, I flashed my rear light to stop the trafficm son." he said and Averman nodded.

As a cop came over. "Close call fender bender and car three nearly ran right into the target of another practical joke. That we had to check number 2 and got a name, Uncle Derek, Dad's car 2, here." Charlie said and the cop and his partner nodded. "Could have been a lot worse if they skidded out and into a t-bone, Charlie, but nice work, everyone okay?" he asked and they nodded as Orion got out of his car and they saw an E.H. on the left shoulder of his sweater.

"Thought so, you're a borderline high school age coach." Charlie said smiling and he nodded. "Thanks for the help guys and in checking on us, we appreciate it right now, tell your mother and Rick I got you." Orion said smiling and he nodded gently. "For gods sakes right now, how many times can you brats get in trouble, before we go to probation. Well if the city government doesn't choose a new coach and we and your parents will." They heard and Charlie nodded.

"We're coachless, again, dad, the last had a heart attack right now in truth, these idiots keep chasing away our coaches and the 5th had a heart attack right now." Charlie said and Orion nodded sternly. "Well looks like this is the end of the line, but you ever need a back up just tell me, as I'm possibly the last in your line of coaches, before college here." he said and Charlie nodded. "If you are and just getting back together, can't wait, dad." Charlie said and he smiled.

"Better get home guys, and see the team, the quintet I'll see them soon." he said and they nodded as they split up and headed to two different building not far from them and Orion nodded...

Before The Jets Game-Charlie's POV:

As the attack by the Hawks came to an end they heard a whistle blast. "Hey watch where you're going guys, before you get hit here, slow it down!" they heard a familiar voice say and Averman and Charlie smiled. "That's dad, Averman come on!" Charlie said and they ran to the sidewalk to check. "Hey Uncle Ted, good to see you again." Averman said smiling and he smiled gently at them. "I take it these guys jumped you?" he asked and he nodded gently then.

"You couldn't have picked a better time then that as you heard the noise back here right now, but first us to you and now you to us. This keeps up and the next time we see each other our new coach just had a big problem here, but it's not getting off to a good start." he said and Orion nodded gently. " I take it he's a first timer, as a coach, but watch the language." he said and he nodded as they heard a quick running then and turned at that.

As they saw the duo run for it. "Guys go home, we'll talk tomorrow, he's a school coach, Jesse, Guy, he's my dad and we're making arrangements with." Charlie called out to Guy and the Halls and they nodded and left. "I saw the duo, it's the 2 little monsters that nearly caused the car accident 2 weeks ago. Boys, I choose to be your coach, you're facing me later right now, but I got a strong bond with your captain and his 2nd." he said sternly to their reaction at that.

"Just wait till said circumstance now results here in you just arriving in time for the debate of whether or not we make it to the playoffs here. The news just got out, but the Panthers caught the measles, so they're out, but the last 10 teams. But we're playing the jets next, so we'll see what happens here." he said and Orion nodded gently. "Like you I too did peewee hockey, who's your new coach exactly?" he asked and he sighed gently then as he answered him.

"Gordon Bombay, know him?" he asked and Orion nodded, sighing. "He quit, because of Reilly himself in truth, but he blew a shot in overtime. Before you judge him, he had his life dismantled as directly after his father passed." he said and Charlie nodded. "Better head home, with us living in the city, it's dangerous." he said and they nodded. "See you this Friday dad, usual weekend." he said and Orion nodded smiling as he watched them leave gently...

The 3rd Practice And The Team Name-Charlie's POV:

After their getting new gear and their second practice, Charlie Conway felt he, and his friends, his group of 7, consisting of himself. Jesse and Terry Hall, Lester Averman, Connie Monroe, Guy Germaine and Greg Goldberg, along with their new team mates. Were doing very good in basic training. "Hey Coach, you know Ted Orion?" he asked and their Coach nodded smiling. "He's my best friend, son." he said and Charlie nodded as he told him the truth at that remark then.

"He's my father Coach, but you and him together should work, but my goal is to play for him, once you're done training us." he said and Coach Gordon Bombay nodded. "I understand, if he's your father, then that makes me godfather, he just never told me this." he said and the team, over hearing that, froze in shock. "Wait a darn minute the driver of the cherry red SUV, that's your dad, you said he's a coach, he's your father?" Jesse Hall said in shock and he nodded.

"Yep, and you know the mother, so conclusion here, as he decided said mother can share him with his current wife, and I'm not an only child, but a big brother with a 5 year old sister?" he asked and they nodded in shocked disbelief at that. "Point taken, are you trying to get killed you did not just say that, you idiots. So said would be riot, is 'they' just insulted the Coach's, your father's, wife!" Gregory Goldberg said in shock and Charlie nodded and Gordon nodded in fury.

"I can't believe I'm hearing this right now, this would be the reason I got to bail you guys out of detention, if they were eavesdropping on the conversation and misdirected it. Thanks for the warning Charlie, but what I do, is no business of your's, is that clear!" he said sternly and the 10 nodded sternly. "And not when the family in question, is your best friend, and you're possibly dating his ex wife!" Fulton Reed said sternly and Jesse and Averman nodded in fury then.

"Coach, listen to me, but these idiots want to remain coachless, but you just gained our trust, and the try and trust in our parents is almost over, don't leave. You just created us, and we're slowly coming together, but fast intervention, and you and dad. You are our coaches for the following 9 years here." he said and Gordon nodded. "Yeah and I got a stronger bond with you, because if I been here when you were born, Ted would name me your godfather now, my son."

"You're my godson, but the Captain is the best friend and the in command to the Coach now, yeah alright, well that makes this more simple. But we're just nipping this entire thing of miscommunications in the bud right now. But that attitude problem will not be tolerated, and I will not tolerate the act of prejudice on this team, is that clear?!" he said sternly and the 10 all nodded as the team resident trouble makers exchanged panicked looks at the revelations.

"Yes, but first wife, Aunt Casey is his first wife, then that makes his current marriage his second and their daughter Charlie's half sister!" Connie Monroe said in shocked fury at that and Charlie nodded. "Bingo, and clearly the idiots never considered that's a death sentence, but guys listen to me, it's not us the Coach would mean at all. What he also told me, is why Adam is acting like this, and it's because his sister is sick, leukemia." he said and the quartet nodded slowly to that.

"I see, well that shoots down what you guys would over hear, Jess'." Gordon said and Jesse Hall nodded in agreement, knowing that did it, Charlie's intervention saved the season for them. "Yep, yeah alright, Coach my dad is insurance, but Charlie, Averman, would this be connected to why Daniel Porter and Jack Daniels came to dad, for a higher insurance policy on car insurance?" he asked and they both nodded and Gordon crossed his arms and Peter Marks paled at that.

"Yeah, it does, and said prank nearly resulted in 3 car pile up, after he chucked it out the window, dad saw everything, and we froze at the whistle. Switching it around, and mom's twin brother is actually a cop, Sergeant Derek Jacobs. He arrived on the scene, dad told him, he tried to arrest them and Derek said that we're working for him now. But Averman and I want more, we don't want this anymore, we want to be seen now, but our numbers now here in truth."

"Did anyone ever consider our new numbers identify us to the entire city, of a 3 to 4 car pile and traffic accident now." he said and they both went white in fear and Gordon nodded sternly. "I see, well your numbers on your new jerseys are #'s 96 and 04, so #96 Charlie Orion. And #04 Lester Averman, and you are working for the cops, to arrest these two with Ted's help." he said and Peter and David Karp both went pale, realizing their numbers identified them to the cops.

"Not good right now, nobody ever considers that the numbers on our jerseys identify is to the cops, or that the team name does now, as just seeing us. And in our new jerseys identifies us as who we are now, as a team, we're whatever name we chose, and we're a team." Guy Germaine said sternly and Charlie nodded in agreement. "Yeah I know that guys, this is why Uncle Derek set them up, we're undercover cadets in the precinct." Averman said and Gordon nodded then.

"Rather then gold, is indigo blue, which is close to purple, for stripes and…, there we go, so purple, gold and green, our team name is about to be chosen and there it is." Charlie said and he nodded. "Yep, next question is what are we in animals exactly, as you're acting like the alpha of the team Charlie." Jesse said and Gordon nodded in agreement. "You're right about that, your brother has the gift of leadership." Eric Lewis Jenkins, their driver, said and Gordon nodded.

"Not Conway, but Orion, Charlie Theodore Michael Orion, son of Coach Ted Orion, Eden Hall J.V. Hockey." Charlie said and he nodded gently. "I get it, but are your parents friends of Ted's, next to me?" he asked and Averman nodded. "Yeah: Rick Averman, Jason Hall, Claire Monroe, David Germaine, Joseph Goldberg, and Jason's brother Wes. That's our family gang, the others are Fulton's father Andy Reed, you, and the Duncans's parents Jane and Peter." he said to him then.

"Rick to you, Jason to Jesse and Terry, Claire to Connie, David to Guy, and Joe to Greg, yeah okay got it, thanks guys, I needed that right now. I'm just getting involved with Casey, but could be I'm her new boyfriend now." he said, committing their parents first names to memory and they nodded gently. "Great this is all we needed, after we have a mutiny up in the locker room right now, after they lied to us, and then turns out, you never meant us at all now."

"And we turned on Charlie and Fulton for nothing." Jesse's brother Terry said and he nodded sternly in agreement. "Yep, and no, I never meant you at all Terry, but there it is, guys, well you're off the hook guys. But you, Peterson, really think you're seeing whatever it was, before over hearing said conversation is enough to push me out. As the try and trust is about to end, in your parents cases are serious, his mother trusts me, and we're closer then ever here now."

"But just a family friend, that's all I am, a family friend and his godfather, but hockey is in his blood, he needs me, so this crossed a line now." he said and Peter swallowed hard at that. "But Gentlemen that remark on losers, I mean those brats, the Hawks that attacked you. In the alley, not you, if they are refusing to part with a little off the top, well then they are losers. And we hate losers don't we, they don't even deserve to live." he said and the 10 nodded sternly.

And in agreement. "He also told me that Fulton's position is an enforcer, with being co-ed, we need him protecting the girls, Adam helps us with the shooting now. With my having a sister, she's 5 years old, and said accident last year, I'm done playing around here. Time to get serious, but triple to quadruple the schedule in practice, instead of babysitter. We have you, our coach, and we have study with him, grades and practice." Charlie said and Gordon chuckled.

"But like Cinderella's evil stepmother said, 'seems we have time on our hands, time for vicious practical jokes, perhaps we can put it to better use'…" Jenkins said and Gordon nodded sternly in agreement, as he came to a decision. "Agreed, whatever schedule you and Les' have been doing with your father, tell their parents, I'm extending it to the rest of you." he said and he nodded and the duo started shaking, in fear, realizing this was a all week schedule after school.

"But there it is, do you recall the idiot, hispanic gang member that caused the pilot to have a heart attack, before he died?" Connie asked and he nodded. "Peter is that idiot, Jesse, Connie and I are the said gang trio, that were ready to kill him. Before they all realized he had internal damage from hitting the seat that hard, but that's us exactly. Thinks he's so darn cool to freak out your predecessor, he's history here." Charlie said and Gordon nodded sternly at the news.

"Connie, Jess' on me, Les' get with it, we got work to do, because this season just shifted course here, but we have to demonstrate the threat of Fulton's shot, to make a point. That it's a trip to the hospital waiting to happen, if you get hit by it." Charlie shouted and they, Terry, Goldberg, and Guy all nodded to the orders then. "Yeah no kidding after 2 broken windows, what's the hazard here exactly, indoors training, to get your skills under control." Gordon said to that then.

"Agreed, indoors all afternoon after school, constant adult supervision, they know where you're at all times right now, or out there who knows where, doing god knows what now. Their families would agree to that, when the Duncans's are in law, one a cop, the other the jury leader." Jenkins said and Tammy Duncan said it. "Dad is Jacobs's partner Coach." she said and he nodded. "Nice, yeah okay, two cops and court systems." he said and the trio nodded gently.

"I'll tell the judge, that you guys are having a new after school schedule, under me and Charlie's father now, as this ends the practical jokes and our district. Said is becoming respectable, by us raising money for charity only the surprise is that's now leading to raising money. And for the Banks's now, and our district just gained its new hockey mascot, we're birds. We just pick our form and that form, in maturity is truth of spirit now, purity of heart." he said and they nodded.

"Nice thinking though Charlie, we're going to destroy them this year, after I complete your training in basic now, let me guess this is connected to some prank these two pulled right now. Your father got you off the hook and you decided enough is enough, yeah alright, I can do that: Practice 4 times a week, practice games on Fridays guys." he said and they nodded. "But stand tall, fly straight, we're flying all the way to the top this year!" he said and they smiled at that.

"Fly, yeah we fly, but take on one, you better be ready to take on the entire…, uh oh, yeah pack behavior, we're birds, but which one exactly?" Guy said and he nodded. "Oops, now we started something here." Charlie said and they heard a thunk. "Alright wise guy smack me one more time, and I'm going to smack you so hard you lose your down for a week." they heard in a shout of annoyance and Gordon started laughing. "Okay Duckling." he said and they smiled gently.

"Hammer come on, take it easy, Jesse would you stop antagonizing her already!" Charlie said as the rest of the team started laughing at that. "Point taken guys, but would you just take it easy, and I see anymore blows with the wing, you're both nested for the day." Gordon said with a chuckle and they nodded smiling as she leaned her head against his shoulder. And he smiled in affection, knowing the try and trust between them was now over and they could start finally.

"Ducklings to you, Mr. Jenkins and our parents, the adults in our district, us young ducks, we're teenage ducks trapped in our preteen duckling bodies." Averman said gently and he nodded, smiling in affection then. "Yeah, but I'm the head coach and leader of the team, you're my ducklings, but Charlie, see if you can get Ted involved. I need his help, because if one of the guys offers me a shot to the minors, I need a co-coach to coach you, with me gone for a bit."

"Your father is their parents best friend, so they need him to look after you till I come home, as we get two more good seasons, then I pass you to your father next. But your father's a pro athlete in hockey, but I got you through basic, he does advanced training. But he's teaching, with my out of town, things they never teach in peewees, but that cut across his eyebrow. Stanton did that, with the stick." he said and they nodded sternly at the news then firmly.

"Stanton, Wolf 'the Dentist' Stanton?" Charlie repeated and he nodded. "That guy's a dentist?!" Tommy Duncan said in shock. "That was his nickname, took out more teeth then goals, after a game that resulted in punching out a fan, for criticizing his nickname. Dad tried to arrest him, and he punched out his own coach and gave dad that scar." he said and they nodded. "I heard that they ran him out of the league and the country." Tommy's sister said then and he nodded.

"All true Tam'." he said and Tommy nodded. "Whoever it is, he's coaching, that's his team, these guys are huge." he said and they nodded. "The lunatic is a disgrace guys, but frankly, when we defeat the Hawks this year, and the following two, if the Hawks can't defeat us. And Stanton is a disgraced pro, and he can't defeat us, what does this say about the Varsity. As the Eden Hall coach exactly now?" he asked and they nodded, smiling sternly at the question then.

"That the Hawks are losing their edge right now out of the mind games here, Coach, you taught us games are fun, his father teaches us. That it's okay to defend ourselves, but when the fight comes to you, best be ready to defend ourselves. But you don't go looking for trouble, as that causes more, but it's okay to defend ourselves." Averman said and he nodded. "Exactly, that's the point of self defense and pride." he said and he and Charlie smiled and the team nodded.

"Well we're white belts in the ways of Duck hockey now, but before you leave, you better teach this to my sister, cousin and their team. And because we're your first in the ways of duck hockey/martial arts now, but you created us, dad furthers us." he said and he smiled in affection. "Good point, but you're the Uchi-desh of the entire Karateka." he said and Charlie smiled. "Translation: captain of the team." he said and the 9 smiled in affection then gently.

"Okay Ducks, we're the Ducks then, our sponsor is the inspiration, your remark Coach, Ducksworth, the firm that gives back to the community, help us. And we help a family in need in turn, even if they are our rivals, we help them, but not worth winning. If you can't win big, how big is every baby just like her." Charlie said and Gordon smiled in affection at that then gently, knowing the boy earned the captain position, by his being the true junior leader of their team.

"Yeah son, you made your point, I'm going to press the subject, then during said meeting I'm passing what we gathered for his father, to him, and they see what we been up to. But you two, if you want to drop out, just do it now, as you're not Ducks, you're Hawks. But wearing Duck jerseys, you don't belong here, so stay and play, or mutiny and you're cut now. We can get by on 10 or 11 now for the season." he said sternly and Peter paled, realizing he was finished then.

"Fast catch, to the lake." he said and they nodded, they boarded the van, and headed for the lake, before they saw it, a family of white pekins on the lake. "Hey guys, there, there we go, we're Pekins in human form, Donald!" Charlie called out, and the father quacked and waddled over and they smiled. "Call him by a nickname, and he responds, well there it is, there's our mascot, but he's huge." Connie said and Gordon nodded as he realized it then gently at that.

"He's a jumbo, they're Jumbo Pekins, we're Jumbo Pekins in human form, and there's his baby flock." he said, pointing at the 11 ducklings and they smiled. "Wait, only 11, 11 instead of 13, yeah okay, there we go, uh oh, there's two ducklings in the nest. Somebody's been nested for the week, the 11 run free, the duo are grounded." Charlie said and Donald nodded. "What they do if they're nested, Donald." Gordon asked and he gave a stern quack, and Charlie nodded.

"Tried to lie to you about a fight between them and your me, but you caught them in the act, and they're nested for two weeks. And you took their rectangles away for that same two weeks?" he asked and he gave a second quack. "Huey!" Charlie said gently and the duckling gave a peep and waddled over to him. "You are cute, nice way to drive the point home, all cute and cuddly, but as an adult, you're dangerous at times." he said and he gave an amused peep.

"Yeah Rabbits, Geese, Swans and Ducks, or Chickens are cute, but they can be dangerous, but here's the point, all cute and cuddly as babies, but we can be just as dangerous. As the raptor birds now, remember that now." Gordon said and he gave a quack of agreement. "We're ducklings, but we're all cute and innocent now, but as teenagers now, we can just as dangerous. As the Hawks, once we're full size now ourselves, but swimmers." Connie said gently to this.

"Yeah we can swim, but Hawks, till they grow their wings in, are nested, we're ducklings, we can swim, and we're faster and more agile." Charlie said and the team nodded, as Charlie took his glove off, and his duckling waddled up, and he stroked his down, and he peeped. As he rubbed his head against his hand, with a cooing peep, as he closed his eyes happily. "Yeah he likes that, but I think we got a problem, but they like it so much as ducklings, every time he sees you."

"He's going to be chasing you around for more pets now, Charlie." Averman said laughing and he nodded. "Nice life science lesson, but we can use this, as we become one with our animal, but at 14, we're not kids, little Ducklings anymore. So time, it's time, we got to grow up and the girls need a good role model, but they see us do something. They want to do it too, so best give a good example, for the girls, Jerry and their team." he said and the 9 nodded sternly then.

"Don't worry guys, not just the once, we're 2 day yellows circles on the lake, 2 indoor lake, so black circle never startles you guys." Gordon said and they gave a quack and peep in understanding. "The Cardinals game is the ro-test, we win our first game, and that brings in the start of the revenue, the Hawks are trying by bookies. But what about donations of $5 to 10, that by the time we reach the attempted deal, you collected sum number." Charlie said to him.

"Agreed, we can sell our merchandise now, that give a gentle hint, and call him by name, that by the time, my community service ends, I reveal what we been upto." he said and they nodded smiling. "For you, you or our homes, we choose you Adam, this is we're saying welcome to the team, brother and sister, in every-way you can say it, man. No hard feelings, you need support, we're there if you need us." he said and the 9 nodded in agreement gently at that remark…

The Fundraising Ends And Fresh Starts-Gordon And Charlie's's POV:

After getting everything together, he and his own godfather, Hans created the team bags, as he thought over said sizes, and then chose preteen, borderline teenager for Fulton. And Preteen to the 9, and put in two sets of each set into it, along with t-shirts, a few hats and sweaters. Before creating a second for travel and then put their numbers on them. "Charlie, round up the 9, the bags are ready." he said and Charlie nodded as he went to get the team then to get their bags.

"Ducks Hockey Gear And Uniform, comes complete: Neck guard, Shoulder pads, Elbow pads, Hockey jersey, Hockey gloves, Hockey pants. Garter, Shin guards, Mouthguard and Ice skates, along with the new jersey and skating pants." Charlie said, loading the prototype, as he put the display up for the dress dummy and put the jersey and pants on it, followed by the helmet. "In truth Reilly, your team as a power house are chumps, why you never consider this now exactly."

"You got your gear created for you, why you never consider merchandising your stuff, because District 5, is now all going duck when they see this. But enhance community spirit, just wait till you see what's on the back of said jerseys in #99 boys." Connie said sternly as she and Charlie worked out their surprise, as Adam's bag was geared up and ready. And as they put up what was inside the bag on the hooks on the wall, as they saw the gear hanging from the wall rack.

As he put the amount together on a slip and then Guy moved forward dressed in their gear as he went into a picture pose and Germaine took a shot. And they blew it up to full size picture, before writing Ducks hockey gear and uniform on it. Before laminating it, and then tied it to the top of the duffle bag, as they had 1,000 bags like that. And 1,000 more put to the number of said duck player on the others, as they put the clothes on the shirt racks as they smiled then.

"All this for only $15.00, that's a steal right now!" Goldberg said, laughing as he looked at the goalie version to the display then. "We got them sized here, but that's cub version, here's the adult now, guys." he said and they saw the fully adult version of the uniform and Gordon smiled. "Yeah our team just got sized, but Gordon and I are practicing one on one again, but ladies, be careful, once we practice." Orion said smiling then to them and Gordon nodded in agreement.

"No kidding right now Janie and I are good, but the older we get the more dangerous the game gets, watch where you put your hand here, if the gloves are not on fully guys." Claire said smiling as the adults already had their own equipment then. "Joe, you think Greg took following your footsteps just a bit too far, now that Gordon got him over his fear. And of being shot at right now?" Hall said to him and he started laughing and nodded smiling in agreement then.

As the merchandise was put on the racks, and blue helmets were now set to the team. "Yeah guys, I think they'll get the message, black is bad, with them being a bird a prey right now. While blue, red and yellow and brown is good, but jet black is bad in coloring, we're looking like Ralph's team now in truth at the moment." Charlie said, as he set up a container, labeled, 'Banks medical fund donations' and a message on it then as he wrote it out then gently at that.

'Dear customers, this is to help our future team mate, in raising money for his sister's medical procedures, as you know that sister, that team mate, Adam Banks. In welcoming him to the team, we're fundraising for his sister, Winnie. Her medical procedures, she needs help, and your generous help, of $5 to $10 will show. And insure the Hans skate and hockey apparel will be donating to her medical funds.

"As in the words of the Hawks motto, 'It's not worth winning, if you can't win big.'. The previous idea was the boosters of whatever amount the Hawks were getting from local companies, that is taking time, that she and the other babies don't have. This is to show how big, in said community spirit, to her and the cubs like her now. They deserve support, as of today, the companies of district 5, are fundraising here."

"And by small donations the same amount as costs for moderate costs in goods: food, bakery and candy sales, the school game concession stand. But these, books, movie sales, car washes, for only $5 to $6, costs, in donations. And for the equipment here at the shop, $10 to $15, same as the cost for take out for a family of 5. The list of amounts set to each company are on the form next to this donation chest now."

"Each one is set to the company making it and selling at each local business, while for here at the shop, the costs are $7.50 for a ducks baseball cap. $10.00 a t-shirt, $12.00 a sweater, sweat and jogging suit get up $12.00. Practice sweats with our numbers on them also $12.00, while $15.00 for the duffle bags and skating equipment. With our current team logo on it, each version, as our current stage on these is duckling."

"Teenage stage will be later on now, but same for each version, but these, the duffle bags are carrying the entire batch of our gear. So everything you need, for the next generation, for whoever wants to be a hatchling now: ice skates, pads. And jersey and uniform gear, the age level comes with it, so 4 to 8 is hatchling now. And 9 to 12 is duckling, with peewees being for 3 years, before entering the school age hockey."

"So for anyone wanting to be a duck or hatchling, the gear is set for that age in playing and donation, our numbers. As once District 5 and now as the Mighty Ducks are on these jogging and sweat suit get ups. But these donations are bringing hope to these babies, our surrogate baby sister and others like her now. Just showing the same in care of a true friend and equal, so it's not worth winning now everyone."

"If you can't win big, these cubs and our young surrogate sister need support, $5 to $10 will insure they all have a chance now, thank you. Stand tall and fly straight, C. Orion, Captain of the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks.'. he wrote out and Gordon smiled and nodded. "Yeah that will do it, no one ever considered donations, seeing that message, here at the shop, or Joe's butcher and sandwich shop." Orion said smiling gently at the message then.

As they had 30 customers come in then. "Hey Hans, I need…., oh what's this exactly?" a man said and read the message and smiled. "Nice thinking, so the Hawks never considered you can do it quicker this way, then boosters through big corporations. Yeah I agree with you son, so C. Orion, that's you Charlie?" he said and Charlie nodded. "Yeah, my dad is their brother's Coach, but we decided on faster way, by fundraising, moderate priced goods." he said and he nodded.

"Nice thinking son, that's really going to bring in the amount, books, bakery, candy, with it too cold for car washing, selling your new merchandise certainly works." The man next to him said smiling then. "So $5 to $10, huh, yeah that's really going to get attention, the amount is going to be coming in the door now so fast, no one can keep track, but the kids at the hospital. And with her, that's really going to get attention!" a woman said smiling in amazement at the racks.

"You mind?" A 10 year old asked and he nodded, as he passed him a Ducks duffle bag and they opened and found their entire set of gear inside it. "All this for only $15.00, that's a steal man, where you come up with that idea!" his twin said smiling in delight at that. "Fast thinking at a team meeting a few weeks ago, but the Hawks gear is to the team only. We're selling our merchandise, but wait till this floods the department stores." he said and their parents chuckled.

"Hey mom, dad!" the first boy said gently and they chuckled. "Hans, we'll buy 2." she said and he nodded as the twins chose their numbers and she gave him the amount. As they each put $5.00 into the jar then and as the rest of the customers looked over what the team had on sale. At his shop and nodded as they started looking at the team gear then. "Yeah guys, you just started something here, we keep winning and the entire district is going to want to be you."

"As they buy both versions as duckling comes to an end and teenage begins now." her husband said with a chuckle and Gordon nodded smiling. "That's the cub version, here's the adult, Jeff." Claire said and they turned and saw the adult uniform with the adult sized gear and nodded, as they exchanged looks. "Uh huh, yeah we're all going Duck now in our district, but the Hawks switch from being Hawks to being Warriors, the current Hawks are the kids of the board here."

"But we stayed the same in our district nothing changes, Hatchling and Duckling are these, Teenage to adult is whatever the drawing is next." a teenager said gently and he nodded. "We're about to put Uncle Ted's training to the test at the game in a few week, but we rescheduled it. The game, and against the Huskies, for a month from now, as we show what happens when you never allow change in, Reilly was never a pro hockey player, so his seeing us after a month."

"In training, and the Hawks, the Warriors J.V., is going to wish like heck they conformed sooner to Uncle Ted's methods." Guy said and everyone nodded. "Yeah that's the understatement of the century, especially if Adam takes the offer right now, but that is taking it too far. But in truth, I'm conforming to your father's training, I like it, and I can't believe I was a Hawk. Because it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game, but this now, is taking said motto."

"Just a little too far, it's not worth winning if you can't win big, yeah I call this big, those idiots never thought to do this right now, Charlie. Talk about hitting Reilly where it hurts the most now, they never thought to do this. But hit them where it hurts the most: the score board and the wallet, as they're wasting time Winnie does not have. Coach, Buckley took your idea and ran with it, he love the concept here!" they heard and Charlie turned to two 14 year old boys then.

"Jared Banks?" he said and he nodded. "Can you keep this a secret, we're doing this for your family, your brother, as a 'welcome to the team' present." he said and the boy nodded. "I will and thank you kiddo, thank you so much, if you're about to become Adam's version of Scooter. He needs all the support you can offer, he's been in even worse turmoil then I have here." he said and Charlie nodded. "What stage is she?" he asked and he sighed as he answered him then.

"Stage 1, leukemia." he told him and Charlie nodded. "Don't worry, we're working on it Jared, but Reilly's coin of phrase just became a double edged sword, not just hockey and clothes. But what's inside the school system as your school invests in stock to pay for things here. So that, food, and books, won't take long, once everyone sees the costs amount now, but come here. This is Adam's number now on the team." he said and they saw a bag with #99 on it then.

"Uh…, we had 10 people buy that number, that's the Banks clan!" a customer said and he nodded and they smiled at that. "Yeah you just supported their family by choosing that number, but the Hawks are going to bookies over doing it like this, but the gear with the uniforms. It's owned by the Hawks, not for sale, our's was created by a company like Adidas now. And Uncle Dave is member of that company." Jesse said and they smiled at the reveal as Jared nodded.

And he opened it and saw the entire ensemble and smiled then. "So anyone seeing his number on the gear will get it now, as they buy in support of our family now. Nice thinking, dad hears this, he's going to be beyond thankful now at your doing this for us." he said and everyone listening all smiled at the idea. "Yeah that's going to get the real support in the Banks's need, by buying his team number on these bags now!" they heard a preteen say smiling at the reveal.

"Claire's working at the bakery, Casey at the cafe, Dana at the candy store, Brenda at the donut shop, and Joey's butcher shop." Orion said and they nodded smiling then. "So you're all doing this in the team now, different departments in our district?" A young customer said and the team nodded. "Talk about moderate priced, the amount alone is going to come to $250,000 before the season ends!" His mother said smiling in amazement and they nodded gently then.

"Just costs that much currently for the trip to the food court for a family of same exact price, but the kids at your school hear this, they'll decide. That loss of one trip to Dana's candy shop is worth it, they can wait till their next allowance, the kids lives are more important." he said in response and Charlie nodded. "We're, with the fact we got someone snitching children off the street, going color coded, so we're all dressed in the same color." he said and they nodded then.

"Uh oh, yeah the flock quadrupled in size if you do that!" a parent said laughing and he nodded smiling. "Yeah does this character not realize the teachers running a head count on a field trip and then realizes we got a missing cub now, that character is going to get it. Because green with gold mixed in means duckling, get ready the parent ducks are going to let you have it." Scott, 'Scooter' Holland said, as he started laughing at that and Jared nodded smiling in agreement.

"The team dressed in your game sweats, that's your game sweats huh, yellow with green and bluish purple circles around the collar of the neck, in the turtleneck. And the jackets and sweat pants matching your jersey and uniforms, and these have your numbers on them. #00 Guy Germaine, #01 Terry Hall, #02 Tommy Duncan, #04 Lester Averman, #05 Tammy Duncan. #09 Jesse Hall, #18 Connie Moreau, #33 Greg Goldberg, #44 Fulton Reed, #96 Charlie Conway."

"And Adam's number is #99, before we add 5 to 6 more members now, but boy is this going to get attention, whatever you said to Ducksworth, it just became a reality now." Jared said laughing and he nodded. "Yeah Ducksworth: the firm that gives back to the community, he sponsors us, and in turn, we're helping you, a family in need during an emotional crisis." he said and he nodded, before giving him a hug and he tightened his arms around him in response.

"Again, thank you for doing this for me, we owe you everything, Charlie, so you're my Coach's son huh, I never saw that coming." he said and Charlie nodded. "That picture on the wall, said everything, Uncle Gordon put Reilly in second place 20 years ago. So that game means your version's brother's tuition, we win, they lose a year off 5, they win, we start at the same time. But either way the damage is done now." he said and he and Scooter nodded then sternly then.

As they took it down and read the newspaper clip. "Well I see why you hated Reilly ever since Coach." he said and Orion nodded. "Gordon's father passed that year." he said and they nodded. "Gordon's Charlie's Godfather, after putting this in better perspective, he changed back, but the duo that got cut from the team, the leader has a bad habit of eaves dropping. And misinterpreting said conversation." he said and everyone nodded sternly as they had 50 more.

Come in then, and seeing the bags a group of 6 years olds pointed them out, and they nodded, as they saw two 5 year old girls nod and grabbed the girls number in bags. While 6 boys grabbed said number in the boys numbers and their parents nodded. As they passed the number as in costs to Hans then, as the jar started filling up, and by the end of the day. It was full, as this kept up, everyone in the district agreed with it and the numbers started piling up.
