A/N: Guess who's back! And we're at it again for THC! Let's see if I can keep this up! Wish me luck!

Ron Weasley was like any other student attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He went to classes, played Quidditch, created mischief, and hung out with his friends. Well, used to, at least. You see, Ron was a Sixth-Year student, and his friends were Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. This year, all Harry had done was isolate himself from himself and Hermione to stalk Draco Malfoy. This was because last year, He Who Must Not Be Named, better known as Voldemort, publicly returned, and Harry had this inkling that Draco was somehow involved in it.

Alright, so with Harry off on his own adventures, surely he could spend some time with Hermione? Nope. Hermione had decided that Harry's stalking actions had some merit, so she skivvied off to the library whenever she got a chance. This left Ron alone a lot of the time for the first few months of school. As he walked down the corridor, he spotted a girl with dirty blonde hair staring off into space…

September

Ron had just watched Harry exit the compartment with his Cloak tucked under his jacket. Ron sighed and stood up, startling Hermione as she watched Harry leave.

"Where are you going, Ron?"

"For a walk. I'll be back later." Ron exited the compartment and went the opposite way that Harry did. He kept walking and started to watch the scenery out the window when he smacked right into someone.

"Ouch!" Ron stumbled backwards and he looked to see who it was. He glanced at the girl who had pink sunglasses on her head and a stack of magazines that were now scattered on the carriage floor. Ron recognized the girl as Luna Lovegood, the quirky yet cute 5th year he and his friends had met last year. In one quick swoop he had all of the magazines in his arm as he handed it back to her.

"Oh, hello Ronald! You appear to have a wrackspurt infection! Be careful!" And she just hummed a tune and skipped away leaving Ron to gaze at her departing figure…

October

Harry had been gone more often than not, and Ron needed a way to spend his time. Since Hermione had begun to head to the Library again, Ron decided to seek out the friendship of Luna Lovegood. After their encounter on the train, Ron had caught up to her after her Charms class and expressed his interest in hanging out with her more. She had happily accepted, and skipped away joyfully, humming that same tune from the train. Ron left the Common Room and headed towards the Astronomy Tower. At the very top of the tower, Luna was there, sitting on a towel and gazing at the stars. She must have heard Ron's footsteps because before he could even say "hi" to her, she motioned for him to join her.

Ron sat down next to her and smiled. He followed her gaze to the stars and he let her talk about their brightness and what not. Her voice was angelic, and Ron was mesmerized by it. He was snapped out of it (literally) when Luna snapped her fingers in front of his face.

"Hey! Did you even listen to a word I said about the stars?"

"Er, no?" Ron answered honestly, "But I know that the stars aren't as pretty as you."

Luna's smile started widening uncontrollably, and Ron hugged her. The duo ended up holding hands the rest of the night.

November

Harry got injured, in Quidditch, again. He was spending the night, in the Hospital Wing, again. And by his side until Madam Pomphrey would inevitably kick them out was Ron and Hermione. And that time was soon upon them. Madam Pomphrey ordered everyone out, but Hermione somehow managed to stay with Harry.

Ron had exited the Hospital Wing alone, and as he walked down the corridor, he spotted a girl with dirty blonde hair staring off into space. Ron smiled and kept walking towards her. She looked up, smiled widely, and skipped over to him.

"We're going to Hogsmeade tomorrow!"

Ron was too stunned to speak and Luna took it as a good sign.

"I'll meet you at Honeydukes!" And she skipped down the other end of the hallway without saying another word.

The next day, Ron met up with Luna at Honeydukes and started to surf all of the different shops they liked. Hours later, they ended up in a meadow right outside the village. Luna sat down on a rock and Ron followed.

"You know, I like you more than you think, Ronald," Luna spoke quietly.

"You know, I like you more than you think, Luna," Ron replied, at the same volume.

"Is this what I think it is?" Luna asked quietly.

"I don't know," Ron replied. Their faces inched closer to each other.

"You really like me like that?" Luna asked.

"What isn't there to like?"

"But you're just my friend."

"I like my friend a lot."

"So do I"

It was now or never. Ron spoke quietly, "I love you, Luna," and their lips connected in a kiss full of bliss.
