Through it all however, newly gifted Mirabel has noticed something amiss with her Tio Bruno. But before she can help him build a brighter future however, she must first understand his broken past.

Mirabel is interrupted in her quest to save the miracle by Alma, who wants to know about some alarming pictures Pepa had found in the nursery. Mirabel really doesn't see what the big fuss is. Alma is determined to find out who drew those horrible pictures of her granddaughter. Only the culprit might be closer than she thought.

Every night, for as long as she can remember, he's whispered the words in her ear. After he leaves, Isabela says them to herself, barely audible whispers so soft even Dolores would have trouble hearing them.
