The story mainly revolves around Thomas and his daughter, but the other characters also play a role in every chapter. The characters don't belong to me, only the OC does.

Robert 25, Cora 22. Both work for their fathers and have to work together. They cannot stand each other, and see their promised future evaporate in front of their eyes. Modern AU story.

Pre-canon Cobert AU. Cora and Robert didn't get married because Isidore Levinson found a suitable match for Cora in New York and called her back home before the end of the London season and after Robert had stalled on his proposal anyway. We meet Cora and Robert a year later, both having to live with the choices that were made.
