"Alya, remind me why we're raking leaves at the park?" Nino asked, as he took off his cap to wipe his brow. "To make a leaf pile and I'll invite Marinette and Adrien to come jump in it when we're done."
"Why do you need to call them? They're just sitting on the park bench under the oak tree." Alya rolled her eyes. "Because, their doodling silly love notes to each other, and I don't want to interrupt that! Now, come on, rake!" Nino grinned, as he picked up his rake and pretended to play it like a guitar. "I'd rather shred, if you know what I mean."
A little ways away, under a park bench….
"Adrien, that is the most wonkiest heart I've ever seen," Marinette grinned as Adrien attempted to draw a heart. "Hey, art is your best subject, not mine. My's particle physics." "Your such a dork," Marinette snorted, laughing as Adrien leaned back against the bench, trying to look cool. "I'm your dork, and I think wonky is cool." "Stop, stop! Look, what you made me do!" Marinette in her giggle attack, had drawn a very sad looking heart. "Wait, who are you again? Taylor Swift?" "Adrien Agreste!"
When they had calmed down some Adrien told her, "Even if you are wonky, I think your cool." "You can talk the talk, but can you wonk the wonk?" Adrien gave her a strange look, and she peeked through her fingers. "Look, puns aren't easy! How does Cat Noir make it look so easy!"
Cause I am the pun master, and others should fear my puny powers, Adrien smirked. Brinng! Marinette's phone buzzed and she read the text. "Hey, Alya and Nino invited us to jump in their leaf pile! Let's go!"
Grabbing her boyfriend's hand, Marinette dragged him across the park. Adrien was towed along willingly, and hey, who doesn't like a good jump in a pile of leaves?
"Nino, look! Their wearing matching sweaters! Isn't that adorable?" Alya squealed. "We're here," Marinette sang. "And ready to jump."
Of course, the four friends had to make it a competition and whoever was the best jumper would buy Pumpkin Spice from Starbucks.
"Looks like I'm a loser!" Nino grinned, as Adrien perfected the perfect leaf cannonball. "Normally, I'd feel sorry for you, Nino," Marinette laughed. "But Adrien has us all beat!" "What did you want me to leaf you alone so you can practice?" Adrien joked, as he climbed out of the pile.
Marinette brushed off the leaves clinging to his tan sweater as she answered. "No, but you can leaf your wallet with me." "Nice try, love."
So, leaf pile thoroughly jumped in, the four friends headed to Starbucks for some serious pumpkin fun.
