Early Years(4E 177-185): In the small Khajiit village of Kasmir in 4E 177, Maelstorm, Son of Altair II and Evelyn, is born. Raised in a family of heroes from Kazaal, the Hero of Morrowind, to the late Altair I, the Destroyer of Oblivion. Altair II was the Hero of Cyrodiil, helping stave of the Thalmor forces from taking over the Empire although the Empire would be forced to the negotiation table in 4E 175. After the war ended, in Altair wanted to live a peaceful life with Evelyn and raise a family in this shaky but earned era of peace. That, unfortunately, would come to an end. In 4E 181, the land of Elsweyr was plunged into civil war and Kasmir was in the thick of it. Altair made the decision to leave Elsweyr with his family but the civil war had caught up to the village, decimating it and everyone that lived there. Altair tried his best to defend his family from the colliding forces but was captured, by whom? No one knows. Evelyn and Maelstorm were able to escape the battle, then fled to the land of Cyrodiil, home of the Empire. In 4E 183, Evelyn died of an unknown sickness, leaving Maelstorm alone in the Cyrodiilian streets. Maelstorm turned to petty theft, stealing food from the many food stands, just to stay alive. He would travel to many cities to avoid the local authorities but also meet fellow thieves and learn to how to make money from pickpocketing. After sometime, he became a proficient thief which caught the attention of the Thieves Guild but they never found him as he kept moving from city to city. In 4E 185, it was at this time Maelstorm learned that Elsweyr had ended the civil war and joined the Aldmeri Dominion as two separate nations or puppets as he believed. His father told stories about how they believe Elves were the superior race and how they look down on others including the Khajiit. They had also lied that they brought back the moons after they disappeared 2 years ago. He didn't believe them. He vowed one day that he will return to his homeland and spread the truth about the Elves lies. For now, he must continue to survive.

Coming of Age(4E 188-195): Sometime later in 4E 188, Maelstorm found himself in the Imperial City, the heart of the Empire. He continued his thieving ways until he met a blacksmith and former soldier by the name of Alfred Steelbreaker. He had caught Maelstorm stealing food and a bit of his gold but he saw some good in the Khajiit boy. Alfred found Maelstorm on a bench sleeping and offered him a place to stay. Maelstorm, reluctantly, accepted the old mans offer. From 4E 189-191, Alfred taught Maelstrom how to craft weapons and use a bow. Maelstorm also had some experience with magic, mostly to steal what he needed, but Alfred took him to a magic school to improve his skill where he learned he could use Thu'um, a ancient magic that the people of Skyrim could use. After awhile, he mastered some of the magics he thought would be useful if he were in a tough situation, including his Thu'um. It wasn't until 4E 193, that his swordsmanship had caught Alfred's attention. Maelstorm was so proficient with one-handed blades that it was second nature to him, even with a shield but he was more proficient without one. One day, Alfred asked who had taught Maelstorm to wield and fight with a sword like he did. Maelstorm, holding back tears, told Alfred about his father and his family's legacy, the day he was captured and how he believed he let down his father by becoming a lowly thief. Alfred looked at the Khajiit boy with heartbroken eyes. He told Maelstorm that his father did his duty to protect his son and how he would want his son to survive no matter what. From now on, Alfred will do everything in his power to help Maelstorm get back on the right path. In 4E 195, he learned of a group of people called the "Tamriel Rangers Guild", warriors who travel the world, help those who can't defend themselves, and bring unlawful men to justice. They told him that could use someone like him, given that Khajiit's are very agile creatures. When Maelstorm told Alfred about this, he didn't object telling him this was his destiny, a chance to rekindle his family legacy into a new path. When the time came, both said their last goodbyes, but not before Alfred gave Maelstorm his treasured possession. His Steel Sword Icarus. Maelstorm promised that he use it wisely and left the Imperial City. Maelstorm would fight injustice for the good of the people, punish those who dare cause harm and disorder. For 6 years, he trained with many rangers, improving his one-handed swordsmanship and his magic, rising up the ranks, and hearing tales of his exploits. The people across Tamriel that loved or feared him, dubbed him the name "The Khajiit Ranger".

Skyrim Civil War(4E 201): Maelstorm traveled to the land of Skyrim in search of a man named Ori Windhelm, an assassin responsible for the murder of a fellow ranger in 4E 201. There he learned about the war being waged by Ulfric Stormcloak, responsible for the murder of the High King of Skyrim, and his rebels but for now they were in a temporary ceasefire due to a dragon crisis, sorted out by the Greybeards and this Nordic hero called the Dragonborn. Maelstorm didn't really understand it to be honest. He wasn't interested in foreign politics but it would catch up to him like the Elsweyr Civil War caught up to Altair. After 3 months of chasing Ori, he putting him to death, the ceasefire had ended, plus one of his ranger allies informed him that the Thalmor had orchestrated the war in order to weaken the Empire. That was something Maelstorm couldn't allow since they were responsible for turning Elsweyr into 2 puppet states. He rode out to Solitude and met General Tallius. While he wouldn't join the Imperial Legion, he offered his allegiance to the General and the Empire. After taking back a stronghold from bandits for the Imperials, Tallius allowed Maelstorm in as an honorary Legate, meaning Maelstorm could command his own Legion. For 5 months, Maelstorm would wage successful battles against the Stormcloaks at Dawnstar, Whiterun, and Riften. His expertise in one-handed swordsmanship and the power of his Thu'um against the Stormcloaks would earn him the name "The Stormcloak Demon". He then marched his Legionnaires to the city of Windhelm, along with General Tallius, to strike the final blow. For 8 hours, Imperial and Stormcloak steel clashed against one another, each blow leading the final outcome. In the heat of the battle, Maelstorm bravely lead his Legionnaires to the Palace of Kings, where Ulfric Stormcloak was waiting for his final opponent. Maelstorm himself. After entering the hold and dealing with the guards, Ulfric challenged the Khajiit Ranger to a one-on-one fight to the death in the streets, magic allowed. Tallius protested to the duel but Maelstorm was willing to do it for the people of Skyrim. Both sides watched as they knew this battle would decide the war. Maelstorm and Ulfric charged at each other, blades clashing each other, their Thu'ums shaking the very ground the two armies stood on. The battle felt like it went on for hours, both combatants not giving into exhaustion the other was defeated to the floor. Then Ulfric's axe split Icarus' blade in two, with Ulfric believing he hadthe advantage. But there was one thing that Ulfric didn't take into account. He didn't say Maelstorm couldn't use his claws. The Khajiit Ranger slashed 3 marks on the Jarls face, then he used his Thu'um to knock Ulfric off balance. With Ulfric wide open to attack, Maelstorm pounced on him and bit into his neck, killing the Jarl of Windhelm. The two sides were shocked at the moment, thinking they had watched the greatest duel in the history of Tamriel. Maelstorm requested the Stormcloaks to surrender, which they did, and show no resistance. The Imperials had won the war and Skyrim was whole again. A few days pass bye, Tallius by the order of the Emperor gifted Maelstorm the steel blade "Gladius Inferorum" to replace Icarus and thank him for unifying Skyrim and the Empire. Maelstorm gladly accepted the sword and appreciated the general's kind words. When asked where he would go, Maelstorm decide to let fate take its course, letting it guide him. Besides, when news return to Elsweyr, the leaders will likely call him a traitor, banning him from returning to his homeland but Maelstorm didn't care. He knew he will return. It will just take time. Maelstorm would continue to be a Ranger for the next 20 years, not only bringing justice but keeping the Thalmor in check to ensure they wouldn't be invading anytime soon. News of Maelstorm's exploits reached across the land, inspiring not only the many Imperial soldiers in the Empire but galvanizing the Khajiit that live in the Empire to join up and one day free their homeland.

Age of Rebellion(4E 241-246)- In 4E 241, Maelstorm was now a captain of the Tamriel Rangers Guild, establishing an era of security in the Empire and creating havoc in the Thalmor ranks, thanks to some help from his Imperial allies and information from his fellow rangers. His contributions helped the Empire to be more unified than ever. But in 4E 243, Maelstorm received news that the Thalmor were persecuting the Khajiit and enslaving them. All small Khajiit rebellion was formed but it was doing little affect. Maelstorm traveled to the Imperial City to ask the Emperor for help but the Emperor was reluctant, saying he can't commit forces at this time. Maelstorm decide he take matters into his hands and help the rebellion fight the Thalmor oppressors. He placed his second-in-command and his pupil, Pericles, to manage the guild until he returned. But before he left for Elsweyr, many rangers came to offer their allegiance to his cause. Maelstorm gladly accepted their strength and with his small armada of rangers, marched to Elsweyr. There he taught the Khajiit rebels how to fight hand-to-hand combat, fire a bow, load a catapult, lay siege to a city, and execute a successful ambush. What started as a weak resistance turned into an army that strong enough to take the fight to Aldmeri Dominion. From 4E 243-245, the Aldmeri Dominion and the Khajiit Resistance fought gruesome battle after gruesome battle. Thousands of Khajiit rebels and Rangers fell in the span of 2 years but they still had faith in Maelstorm, believing the war was not lost. If not for him, the war wouldn't have started to begin with. Finally, at the Battles of Torval and Orcrest, The Thalmor were routed to defeat and forced to remove their forces from Elsweyr. The Khajiit however could not celebrate their victory. Many Khajiit were killed in this war and the cities were left ravaged. Maelstorm held a mourning ceremony in all the cities, to remember those died to die to make Elsweyr free again. He would be the temporary leader until the people decided vote a new one. In 4E 246, the Treaty of Dune was signed. The Aldmeri Dominion would recognize Elsweyr independence and the government, "The Republic of Elsweyr" would become an autonomous state with a Pro-Empire agenda. The new leader would be Imhotep II of Corinth. The Aldmeri Dominion would pay for war reparations and compensation for all of their crimes. Maelstorm and his Rangers would return to their duties and be named Heroes of Elsweyr. Maelstorm would continue to lead the Tamriel Rangers Guild until 4E 258.

The End of a Legacy(4E 247-275): In this time of peace in 4E 247, Maelstorm rebuild his village of Kasmir, returning it to it's former state and would go to grow it. He would also pursue the family life in 4E 249, marrying Ariel of Riverhold, and raise raising 3 children. Kazaal III, Julia I, and Maelstorm II, teaching them the same lesson their grandfather taught their father. He would eventually leave the Tamriel Rangers Guild, believing it was in capable hands, to search for his father in 4E 258. In 4E 260, he would find his father's grave in Rimmen, telling him that Elsweyr was in safe hands. In 4E 264, Maelstorm would become Mayor of Kasmir, helping the village become a vibrant city. Finally in 4E 275, Maelstorm of Kasmir, Son of Altair II and Evelyn, passed of old age. The people of Elsweyr and Tamriel held a funeral service for hero, laying him to rest with Icarus and Gladius Inferorum. A statue would be built to honor his legacy and sacrifice to the land Tamriel. His son would follow in his footsteps, becoming rangers to help the less unfortunate, while Ariel became a mage, wanting to use to heal the sick and injured.
