I realized why I fail so hard for this series, I never flesh out anything. I just dive into things, and that just doesn't work...I need to flesh things out. I want like at least five good sized chapters before we meet Inuyasha at all...

I have so many ideas now, and I love it.

I choose the Suijin path because she is the only being beyond Kaguya to use magic that is not demonic or spiritual. It just makes sense, and I love her. She is not overly connected to anyone, but is still tied slightly to the Og cast. It works just enough to love it.

There is no destiny, no past lives needed and it gives me an interesting power to maneuver. I think it fits impossibly well.

I rewatched the Suijin episode and it cleared up some of my past mistakes.

Six months before Episode 27- The Lake of the Evil Water God

"Amazing, what is this?" Nathan said, walking along a long path in the woods. He had been doing so for about an hour, looking for shelter for the night, when he saw a beautiful lake. In it's center was the remains of a stunning shrine, one that radiated an old world sort of look. Curious, he hurried towards it, jumping into the still water under the moonlight sky. He reached it after a few minutes of swimming. "This is so pretty!" He thought, walking onto the shrine and hurrying inward. "I can so sleep here..."

Something changed though, after a few minutes, the air shifted. A cold radiated through the wooden shrine, like a reverse furnace. Unable to stop himself, he hurried toward the center, where he saw something glowing a faint blue.

"Is that a trident?" He asked, getting closer. He saw it was half a trident, snapped by something but still glowing with inhuman light. Amazed, awed, he reached out ever so slightly... and pure power exploded through him. He felt it searching digging through his mind, his very soul, searching for answers, for power, for purpose...

"What do you want?" The power seemed to ask of him, and the words were drawn from his core.

"I want power, purpose and freedom. I am tired of being weak, alone and afraid. I just want to matter..." The words tore from his lips, his soul, with so much force the air rippled.

"So be it." The power intoned before the trident exploded and he was shot through the air, landing on his back with extreme force.

A scream startled him back to reality, and before he could really process what the hell happened, he saw a massive purple snake wrapping around a lady dressed in old fashioned fancy feudal clothes.

Without hesitating, he shot up, grabbing the closest thing to him and rammed it into the snake. What he grabbed, the same Trident as before, only whole and glowing with a thousand times the powers. The Snake let out a terrible hiss before the blue light shot through it's body, ripping it apart into nothing more that foam. The lady collapsed, shivering and shaking, but having a bold look to her.

"How do you get here?" She asked, but he couldn't answer as he felt his very life force, his soul burning up.'

Collasping, he coughed up blood. "What's happening?"

She was there, grabbing the trident. "The Trident of Amakoi is meant for only divine beings, your mortal frame is being consumed by divine magic." What she did next would never stop shocking him... she pulled him into her arms and kissed him, literally breathing life into his lungs. She held him for a long moment, and he felt life come back.

"Thank you..." And darkness took hold, luring him into the deepest of sleeps.

When he woke, he was on a cot, looking a the lady in question. She spoke with a softness he loved. "I am Suijin, goddess of this lake. I read your soul, while you slept, and I saw your last memories. My trident, or rather a version of it from another world, brought you here through the power of your prayer, your greatest wish. In doing so, you saved me, you chose to attack and no flee... for that reason, I too will answer your prayers."

He frowned. " Huh?"

"I will grant you power, connection and purpose. All that you lack. I will make you my vassal, educate you in this unique world of magic and demons, and have you gain skill in combat, healing and the mystic arts. You saved me, my life... that is one thing I take seriously. What say you?"

He smiled, and nodded. "I accept... thank you, My Lady."

"Rest now, for in the morning your life changes forever... and from what I saw in your heart, that is something you truly will embrace."

""""

Suijin smiled, looking at the resting child. 'What a strong soul, to think he was nearly dead from starvation, lingering alone in the wild... and yet he still chose to save me. I will never forget that.'

Brushing his hair, she felt a kinship to the boy.

'Even if you chose to not be my vassal, I will arm you with the tools to survive and thrive. It really is the least I can do for you.'

Leaning back, she almost cackled.

'Daija, you may have been foolish enough to assult me, betray me, but you found me a potentially vast resource in this boy. Rot in hell, but thank you for this service.'

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This, this is perfect, this is the best intro for my Inuyasha story ever.
