AUTHOR'S NOTES, WARNINGS, AND DISCLAIMERS
I have thought about this story and its series for a very, very long time. The Behind the Lockers series, which honors all other fanfictions and other stories I have posted in the past up until now, follows the tale of a strong, reliable, female protagonist named Clare as she gets trapped in different worlds depending on the story. However, each story has a different conflict, but the same premise: the world is being taken over with a magical staff (just like the fanfiction The World At Its Loss) and it's up to the heroes and protagonist Clare to break the curse.
This story as well as its future successors pay tribute to other fanfictions I have written. I've already said how this story is like The World At Its Loss, but the series pays tribute to my Super Smash Brothers self-insert and my first fanfiction in general, A Magical Symphony and its sequel Another Magical Adventure. The story is similar to these because it involves a strong female protagonist going into a fictional world full of iconic characters and helping these characters reclaim the world that is rightfully theirs.
Fandoms included in this story are Attack on Titan, BEASTARS, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Cavalier of the Abyss, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Kimba the White Lion, Levius, My Hero Academia, Naruto, One Punch Man, Ravages of Time, The Seven Deadly Sins, and The Seven Heavenly Sins. While most of these are actual anime/manga media pieces, Cavalier of the Abyss and Ravages of Time are exceptions because Cavalier of the Abyss is Manhwa media (Korean Comics) and Ravages of Time is Manhua media (Chinese comics). The chosen fandoms is the legit reason why this story was given the name of The World of Asian Culture.
Potential warnings for this story include mild violence, mild language, mild suggestive themes, etc. The themes of this story are family, friendship, teamwork, strategy, and overcoming fears.
AS FOR THE DISCLAIMERS...I DO NOT OWN THE CHARACTERS PRESENTED IN THIS STORY; ALL RIGHTS GO TO THE OWNERS. ALSO, I DID IN FACT PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO THIS CROSSOVER STORY AND ITS FUTURE SUCCESSORS IN ADDITION TO DOING RESEARCH FOR THE CHARACTERS PRESENTED IN EACH STORY. Thank you for understanding the notes, warnings, and disclaimers.
Alright, enough of me talking. I hope you find this story adventurous, enjoyable, and pleasing, as much as I enjoyed writing its first chapter.
Behind the Lockers Book I: The World of Asian Culture
An Anime X-Overs Story
by ktlnboyle
CHAPTER 1
The World of Asian Culture, Present Day at nighttime, in a world where all Japanese anime and manga, Chinese manhua, and Korean manhwa come together to live a peaceful, prosperous life. However, that peace and prosperity would later be shattered in an unforgiving manner, thanks to the leader of Stone Mask Vampires, Dio Brando.
"Ha ha ha!" Dio Brando said as he laughed. "Soon, the villains of this realm are going to take over the entire world of Asian Pop Culture. Now who's gonna stop me now? Ha ha ha ha ha!" Dio later saw fire coming around. He later fell on his back. When he was about to get up, he was busted by Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira.
"Sounds like you've gotten yourself in a busted position, Dio Brando." said Rengoku.
"Too bad for you, Flame Hashira!" said Dio Brando. "We may not be from the same universe, but it looks like you are in a busted position yourself!" Dio later exclaimed. As Dio snapped his fingers together, and within a second, Diego Brando, a British horse jockey, galloped across the field on his horse.
"Not Diego Brando…" said Rengoku.
"Fifteen seconds until your death tolls, Rengoku! Nowhere to run now!" said Diego Brando.
"Fifth Form: Flame Tiger!" Rengoku shouted out as he swung his sword.
"OUCH! My eyes!" said Diego Brando as he fell off his horse after it reared on its back legs. The horse later ran away.
"So how do you feel now?" asked Rengoku.
"Ugh…" said Diego Brando as he got back up on his feet. "Seriously?! You had to do that?! Get a grip on yourselves, you friggin' Hashira people!" Suddenly, a splash of water wet Diego and Dio Brando. The one responsible was the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka.
"Needed assistance, Rengoku?" asked Tomioka.
"Thanks, Tomioka." said Rengoku.
"Damn it, I'm all wet now thanks to that colossal son of a bitch!" said Dio Brando.
"Well, it's what you deserve for trying to kill the Flame Hashira himself." said Giyu Tomioka.
"Then it's time I use this !" Dio Brando said as he held up a sacred staff.
"What is that thing?!" asked Rengoku.
"Good thing you asked." said Dio. "This is a special world conquering staff that has the ability to take over the entire world! So…any last words before your untimely demise?"
"I guess this is our last day to see our world…" said Tomioka. Rengoku later gave out a whistle. In a speedy second, a man named Robert E. O. Speedwagon arrived in a purple convertible car.
"Need a ride out of here?" asked Robert E. O. Speedwagon.
"Thanks, Speedwagon." said Giyu Tomioka. "Get us the hell outta here."
"And get us away from these freaks!" said Rengoku.
"You know what, Hashira, there's nowhere for you or Speedwagon to run, nor is there anywhere for you to hide!" said Dio Brando. "You're all gonna die!" Dio later cast a spell with the world conquering wand. The World of Asian Culture was definitely in danger of being wiped out and soon to be gone forever. As for the heroes, they were looking for someone to help them take back their world from the villains.
Meanwhile, in the world of realism, it was present-day daytime. The date was Tuesday, October 10, 2023. The place was Riverton Public School. The time was three forty-five in the afternoon, and everyone who didn't sign up for after school clubs were getting out of school to do their homework. However, back inside the building, where aftercare was going on, a young seventh grade girl was getting ready for her after school writing club. Clare was the girl's name, and she was a person who strived to be the most popular writer in the school. She had been doing the after school writing club at her school since fifth grade, and she was always welcome back by Mrs. Terri, the eighth grade language arts teacher and the manager of the after school writing club. When she got into her first day of after school clubs, Clare was already expecting the same things to happen like last school year. However, what she did not know is that Mrs. Terri had a co-teacher in the works now named Angela Frye. Students called her Ms. Frye for short.
When everyone sat down in their seats, Ms. Frye introduced herself to the club's participants, saying that she was looking forward to working with all of the students for the 2023-2024 school year's writing club. After her introduction to the participating students, Mrs. Terri introduced Ms. Frye to Clare, who was titled as the school's most popular writer with a big imagination.
"This is Clare, the school's most popular writer?" asked Ms. Frye.
"That's me." said Clare. "It's a delight to meet you, Ms. Frye. Or is it Mrs. Frye?"
"I'm actually not married. Does it mix you up?" asked Ms. Frye.
"It does." said Clare as she chuckled.
"Clare just so happens to be a good fanfiction writer and of course she likes getting her ideas from all sorts of things in both real life and on the Internet." said Mrs. Terri.
"I see…" said Ms. Frye. "Well, I am looking forward to having her in the club."
"I actually have been here in this club since I was in the fifth grade." said Clare.
"Then I will definitely love having you then." said Ms. Frye. Mrs. Terri later went over the rules and expectations of the club.
When all the rules and expectations were over with, everyone was given an assignment. The assignment was to find two empty copybooks and bring them in from home the next Tuesday after school. The two copybooks each of the students were going to bring in were going to be used for all of the stories they write while in the program. The one was for free writing, the other was for the assignments that were going to be given out later on during the year. When the principal said over the intercom that first period clubs were over around five o'clock in the afternoon, everyone who was not in second period was dismissed for the day. As Clare walked down the hallway, she was noted by a student about something in the teacher's locker room. As she knew the teacher's locker room was a faculty only area in the school, Clare immediately declined. However, the student had told her that the locker was shining bright gold.
"Hmph!" Clare grunted. "Fine! But if you get me suspended from school after this day, I don't want to hear it out of you!" She immediately went into the students-are-off-limits zone, and opened the locker. Surprisingly nothing happened. But then, Clare disappeared into thin air. Little did she know that she would end up in the World of Asian Pop Culture thanks to the little "trick" set up by the student who told her about the locker. But what Clare did not know is that she would end up stuck there until that world was back in shape.
