What if Season 4, happened differently, what would the future hold for Rachel
The year 2020 – Rochdale
IT was the first day of the new school year, Rachel woke early, the late summer sun rising in the Rochdale sky was shining through a gap in the curtains. Rachels husband was snoring gently besides her. She smiled, still thankful that she had met the love of her life 13 years ago.
She swung her legs out of bed to get showered before waking their 3 adorable children. Lucy was 11 and starting High School today, she would be going to Waterloo Road. Her younger brother Jack was 10 and little Grace the baby of the family was 6 years old. Grace had her Daddy wrapped firmly around her little finger.
Rachel walked into the school she loved a new school year, the excitement and enthusiasm of the year 6's who always looked smart in their new school uniforms. Rachel loved to see the difference in the children from when the came as nervous little kids to when the left as young confident adults. This was why she loved teaching and it made everything worthwhile.
She noticed her daughter with her niece Rosie. Rosie was a few months older and the daughter of her sister. Rosie smiled nervously at her aunt before turning her attention back to Lucy and some of their friends who had just arrived.
After assembly Lucy and Rosie had maths, they walked into their class.
"Hi Dad" Rosie said as she walked towards his desk
"Mr Lawson, girls we have been through this, go find your seats" he nodded to towards the back to the class. Teaching family was difficult for Eddie, he already had Michael in year 11. He was sure this year would be full of fun.
