it's a nice sunny day in the east blue. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Everything is at peace.
on a island called dawn island, there lives a young boy. Who'll change the world for the better.
his name... monkey D Luffy.
as young 4 year old Luffy walks around the forest because his grandfather monkey D Garp wanted him to, he see's a chest on the ground.
curious he opens the chest to find a strange looking fruit and a book.
not knowing what type of fruit it is, Luffy checks the book to see if it knows.
to his surprise, it does. It's called a devil fruit. A powerful fruit that gives the user powers, but takes their ability to swim forever.
this said devil fruit is called the ice ice fruit. A Logia type fruit that gives the user the power to create, control and turn into ice.
knowing this, Luffy grabs the fruit and begins eating it, ignoring the bad taste.
after that he felt cold at first but no longer.
just like that out of nowhere a wolf came out of the bushes and jumped into the air, ready to attack Luffy...
only for Luffy to quickly swing his right arm to freeze the wolf solid.
seeing this Luffy smiled at his new found abilities.
i think I'm going to enjoy this said Luffy to himself.
just like that he ran back to his grandfather's camp site to tell him the news.
after that Garp trained Luffy even harder.
after befriending the red haired pirates, Luffy decides to be a pirate for the fun of it.
as time went on Luffy learned to use his devil fruit powers to freeze anything and unfreeze it.
he eventually learned to use the Rokushiki moves.
after Luffy turned 17. He was ready to set sail.
[at the docks]
Luffy was wearing a red sleeveless vest. A pair of black pants. Some sandals. And a smile on his face.
boy oh boy. Can't wait to see how far I'll go as a pirate for fun said Luffy as he gets onboard his big boat built for 5 people.
ok, got food for 10 days. Enough Barrie's to hold me over. I think I'm ready to go said Luffy as he sets sail to the great unknown.
as he is now far away from his home island. He feels something underneath his boat.
just like that a giant sea king shows up out of the water.
ah, so your still alive huh?. Very well then, I guess it's time to end this duel, once and for all said Luffy with a smile.
the sea king roars at Luffy with anger.
[wind blade kick!] yelled Luffy as he sends a flying slash attack at the sea king's neck, cutting it off clearly.
alright, time to find a strong crew, and head to the grand line. Look out world here I come said Luffy happily.
