Oh perilous place

Walk backwards towards you

After she slid into the wardrobe, Lucy walked backwards, waiting to run into the back of it, unknowingly walking into a new world.

Blink disbelieving eyes

Chilled to the bone

After entering the strange, snowy world, all Lucy could do was look around in awe.

Most visibly brave

No apprehended bloom

First to take this foot to virgin snow

Lucy was not afraid as she ventured further into this world.

I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment

I am a Wunderkind

Being the young girl she was, Lucy was the picture of innocence. Without knowing it, she had unlocked all the magic of Narnia and its innocence.

And I lift the envelope pushed far enough to believe this

I am a princess on the way to my throne

Destined to serve, destined to roam

When she first stepped into the magical wardrobe, Lucy had no idea that she was on the way to fulfilling a prophecy to rule the beautiful country she found herself in.

Oh ominous place

Spellbound and unchild-proofed

Narnia had always been wild and tame at the same time. It was welcoming of all creatures, yet it had secrets and creatures that were not welcoming or friendly.

My least favorite shelter

Bear alone

Lucy never felt alone or burdened in Narnia. After all, she had her friends, she had her siblings next to her, and best of all, she had Aslan. He was always with her, even if he wasn't actually there. His spirit was with her.

Compatriots in face

They'd cringe if I told you

Our best back-pocket secret

Our bond full blown

Whenever she came back to England, Lucy could not bring herself to tell her friends and family about Narnia. They wouldn't understand. So, Lucy fondly reminisced to herself about Narnia. Or the four siblings got together and shared memories.

And, I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment

I am a Wunderkind

And, I am a pioneer naïve enough to believe this

I am a princess on the way to the throne

Destined to seek, destined to know

After her last time in Narnia, on King Caspian's voyage, Lucy knew that Narnia would always be on her heart and mind. She knew that even as she grew and roamed in England, she would always been a queen in Narnia.

Most beautiful place

Reborn and blown-off roof

After that first time, it seemed that Narnia grew in beauty each time Lucy entered the world. And, as Narnia grew in beauty, so did Lucy.

My view about face-whether

Great will be done

In all her years of ruling and her subsequent trips back to Narnia, Lucy's main concern was always for her people and for the greater good of Narnia and its neighboring countries.

I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment

I am a Wunderkind

I am a ground-breaker naïve enough to believe this

I am a princess on the way to my throne

Lucy was young and sweet and innocent. The picture of a magnet, ground-breaker, and princess as she unknowingly activated a prophecy.

I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment

I am a Wunderkind

I am Joan of Arc and smart enough to believe this

I am a princess on the way to my throne

Destined to reign, destined to roam

Lucy's many adventures in Narnia taught her how to be graceful and fierce. Both a princess and Joan of Arc. Ready to face the battles, but also rule in harmony by her siblings' sides.

Destined to reign, destined to roam

Destined to reign, destined to roam

Destined to reign, destined to roam

Lucy grew to understand that she was destined to rule in Narnia. After all, "once a king or queen in Narnia, always a king or queen". And, in England, Lucy felt destined to roam around until she could enter back into her favorite place; her home; her Wunderkind.
