Hello all Storm here with a new story! Yes a new story though also technically a reboot of an older one, with it being a reboot of an old story I had where Naruto ended up dying in the Land of Waves, with Orochimaru creating a clone from his DNA which turned out to be female due to be infused with DNA from other female Uzumaki. This will still have that premise, but taking a very different turn from the original. So, without further ado.

Walking down a corridor illuminated only by candles placed along the walls was a twenty-one-year-old young man.
The man was fairly tall with fair skin, crimson red eyes with three tomoe around the pupil, with long pronounced tear-troughs beneath them, jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with center-parted bangs that extended to his chin, along with having light blue nail polish on his nails and toes. With him wearing mesh armor with navy accents under an identical T-shirt, a necklace that had three silver rings with red gems inside them, a simple white belt around his waist, dark blue pants and black Ninja sandals, while over it he wore a high-collared black coat with red trimming and red clouds on it.
Along with that he wore a Konoha headband with a slash mark through the symbol, showing his status as a Missing-Nin.
The man didn't stop walking until he reached a set of doors before turning around and holding his hand up as small Chakra flames ignited on the tips of each finger.
"Uchiha Flame Formation." Said the man, slamming his hand onto the ground causing a cylindrical barrier of flames to rise up around the room and himself.
With the barrier ensuring that no one would be able to leave the room unless they wanted to be incinerated. Entering into a large room with numerous pillars on either side. While at the other end of the room was a throne in front of a large statue of a snake with candles lit in its eyes.
Sitting in the throne was an older man with a rather snake-like appearance, having deathly pale skin, golden eyes with slit pupils, purple markings around his eyes and fang-like teeth. He also has pronounced cheekbones and straight waist-length black hair with some locks covering and framing his face or to his shoulders. With his attire consisting of a plain grey tunic with a black polo and pants underneath, a thick purple rope belt tied in a large knot behind his back, blue tomoe-shaped earrings, and black Shinobi sandals with bandages around his calves.
"I've been looking for you, Orochimaru." The man stated, while Orochimaru smirked while resting his cheek on his fist.
"Isn't this a surprise, Itachi Uchiha, coming to visit little old me. How nice of you to deliver to me your Sharingan, they've become rather short in supply recently." Said Orochimaru, while hiding just how nervous he really is that Itachi was here and the barrier he set up as the Snake Sannin glanced around at it.
"The Uchiha Flame Formation correct. Tell me, how long do you think this barrier will last?" Orochimaru asked, his nervousness only growing given he knew the Uchiha Flame Formation didn't require much Chakra and used the ground it was on as a medium to keep burning, and it'd only come down if the caster dropped it or was killed.
"Long enough to kill you. And don't think Kabuto will come to save you again, he's dead, they're all dead." Said Itachi, having made sure to eliminate anyone that could interfere, with Kabuto being the first he took care of.
"Ah, such a pity, it's hard to find talent like his. Very well then, if you're so eager to join the rest of your family, I'll send to meet them. Though if you could humor me, do Pein or "Madara" know you're here?" Said Orochimaru while standing up, curious what the figurehead and true leader of the Akatsuki thought of Itachi coming after him alone.
"I don't really care what they think at the moment." Itachi replied, no longer caring what Pein or "Madara" thought or did, having left the Akatsuki when he no longer had any reason to stay with them.
*Flashback*
Itachi walked through a forest after destroying his Akatsuki ring, knowing it's the least he can do to delay their plans in sealing away the Bijū, even if only a little. The Clan Killer not even blinking as he walked past his now former partner, Kisame Hoshigaki the Monster of the Mist.
Kisame is a very tall, muscular Shinobi, and the tallest member in Akatsuki. He had a distinctive shark-like appearance, complete with blue-grey skin, small, round, white eyes, 3 sets of curved facial markings under his eyes, gills on his shoulders and sharp triangular teeth. He also styled his blue hair in the form of a shark fin. Like the rest of the Akatsuki he also wore nail polish, with it being dark purple, along a Kiri headband with a slash mark through it. With him wearing the standard Akatsuki cloak, navy blue pants, striped leg warmers, navy blue Ninja sandals and strapped to his back was his sword Samehada.
The Kiri Missing-Nin merely leaned against a tree watching as Itachi walked away, frowning at how the Uchiha didn't even glance at him.
"So that's it? You're just leaving." Kisame said, not feeling surprised that Itachi is leaving the Akatsuki, with Itachi stopping and turned to Kisame.
"…Konoha is destroyed, my brother is dead thanks to Suna's Jinchūriki, my godbrother died before him in the Land of Waves. I swore to my parents I'd look after Sasuke, my mother I swore to look after Naruto, I've failed every oath I've ever made. I have no reason to remain in the Akatsuki any longer. The only thing I can do now, is ensure those responsible die." Itachi said, all but admitting he's been a spy the entire time, with Kisame not being surprised by that either.
Though the shark-like Ninja still grit his teeth that Itachi was actually planning on leaving as he pushed off the tree.
"You can't turn your back on the Akatsuki! You know what happens to anyone that gets in their way, they'll eliminate you like any other threat!" Kisame warned only for Itachi to not be fazed by the threat, already knowing what would happen to him.
"It doesn't matter. No one would miss me and I already have a foot in the grave." Said Itachi, aware that he doesn't have much time left anyway, so the least he can do is use what time he did have to try and do some good for once.
"That's not true…I would…" Muttered Kisame, frowning as he watched the only person he could possibly call a friend walk away.
*End Flashback*
"Enough talking, it's time to die. Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!" Itachi said, going through handsigns before unleashing a massive fireball at the Snake Sannin.
"So be it. Earth Style: Mud Wall!" Said Orochimaru before going through his own handsigns and slamming his hands on the ground, causing a stone wall to rise up in front of him.
Only for Itachi's Grand Fireball to blast right through it, the Uchiha frowning when he saw Orochimaru had vanished, missing when he rose up from the ground behind him.
"Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!" Orochimaru said as numerous snakes lunged out of his sleeves at Itachi, but the moment they bit the younger ravenette he burst into a swarm of crows.
Orochimaru grit his teeth when the crows began circling around him pecking and clawing at him before he flared his Chakra, causing the crows to turn into dozens of shuriken slashing across his body.
"Wind Style: Gale Palm!" Orochimaru said, clapping his hands together, releasing a gale of wind around himself that blew away the shuriken in every direction.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu!" Said Itachi from above Orochimaru, firing a volley of fireballs towards the Snake Sannin with them being empowered by the Gale Palm.
Seeing the fireballs coming at him, Orochimaru jumped out of the way only to grit his teeth in pain when Itachi guided the fireballs at him with his Chakra, with each one burning the Sannin.
"Water Style: Starch Syrup Capturing Field!" Itachi said going through handsigns, spitting a stream of high viscosity water at Orochimaru, covering him in it before he could dodge leaving him trapped in the sticky water.
Pulling out a kunai, Itachi channeled Chakra into it before lunging at Orochimaru, swinging the kunai cutting right through the older Missing-Nin's neck. Only for the Uchiha to frown when "Orochimaru" dissolved into multiple snakes that immediately lunged at him. With "Itachi" bursting into crows and began tearing the snakes apart.
Peeking out from behind the pillar he was behind, Orochimaru looked around for any sign of where Itachi could be, narrowing his eyes when he couldn't see any movement.
'Where is he hid-' Orochimaru thought, before he gasped in pain when suddenly numerous large metal stakes were driven into his body.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson!" Itachi said, launching a volley of shuriken at Orochimaru while infusing them with Fire Chakra, causing the shuriken to burn their way through Orochimaru's body as they hit him.
Before the Snake Sannin dissolved into a pile of mud, revealing it was just an Earth Style: Shadow Clone, with Orochimaru bursting out of the ground right in front of Itachi. The Sword of Kusanagi emerging from his mouth as he lunged to impale the Uchiha.
Acting fast, Itachi immediately replaced himself with a log via the Substitution Jutsu before delivering a spin kick to Orochimaru's head knocking him off to the side. Only for the Sannin to flip and land on his feet, holding his sword in hand as he aimed it at Itachi and made it extend out.
Though Orochimaru's eyes widened in surprise when Itachi jumped up and actually landed on top of the Kusanagi before rushing at him along the blade. Quickly retracting the sword, Itachi merely jumped up into the air before throwing his kunai at the Snake Sannin, which he immediately knocked away. Only for Orochimaru to notice too late the Explosive Tage attached to it, with it detonating the moment his sword hit it.
Grunting as the explosion threw him back into a wall, Orochimaru raised his arms blocking an axe kick from Itachi, followed by grabbing his leg and pulling the Uchiha close. With Itachi blocking Orochimaru's punch to his face and grabbed his fist. Before the Clan Killer twisted his body around, slamming his other foot into Orochimaru's head sending him stumbling.
"Water Style: Water Bullet Jutsu!" Itachi said, releasing a jet of water at the Sannin, forcing Orochimaru to quickly go through his own handsigns.
"Wind Style: Breakthrough!" Said Orochimaru, expelling a gust of wind that crashed against the water jet, with both Jutsu pushing against each other.
Looking around quickly, Orochimaru soon spotted where the Kusanagi had been knocked away from the explosion. Making a handsign, the Snake Sannin had his sword float into the air before shooting forward straight at Itachi's back, impaling the Uchiha before he had time to react. Though Orochimaru was forced to jump back when "Itachi" began glowing brightly and exploded, revealing it was just a Shadow Clone.
"Still hiding?! Then try and dodge this! Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes!" Orochimaru said, making a handsign before opening his mouth wide, releasing hundreds of snakes that all opened their mouths as blades came out of them.
With all the snakes rising up and lunging forward around the room, stabbing anywhere that Itachi could be hiding, with Orochimaru believing he wouldn't be able to avoid all of them. Only for his eyes to widen when he heard the snakes begin hissing in agony, before seeing them being consumed by black flames.
"The last time we fought, all your tricks meant nothing before my eyes. And this time…I'm not holding back. Amaterasu." Said Itachi from behind the Snake Sannin before Orochimaru screamed in agony as his body was consumed by black flames.
Watching Orochimaru writhe around in pain, Itachi simply waited for him to be reduced to ashes only to frown when he stopped moving. Before a pair of hands emerged from Orochimaru's mouth as a completely fine Orochimaru pulled himself out of his burning skin.
"Then how about some new tricks? I did say I'd reunite with your family. Summoning: Impure World Resurrection!" Said Orochimaru as he clapped his hands together after going through some handsigns, while Itachi's eyes widened when three coffins rose up in front of him.
"Amaterasu!" Itachi said, refusing to have Orochimaru do what he knows he's about to do.
"Too late! Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Said Orochimaru releasing a powerful gust of wind that blew the black flames away, just as the coffin lids fell down, confirming Itachi's fears at who was inside them.
"Orochimaru…you'll pay for this." Said Itachi, looking at the reincarnated forms of his parents and little brother, Fugaku Uchiha, Mikoto Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha.
"Come now Itachi, this shouldn't be difficult for you. After all, you already killed your parents once, here's your chance to do it again. You can even finish what you started and add your brother to the list." Orochimaru said, smirking wickedly as he made a handsign causing the three reincarnated Uchiha's eyes to open with Sasuke immediately glaring murderously at Itachi when he saw him.
"Itachi! You…" Sasuke said trying to rush his brother only to find his body wouldn't move.
"Patience now, Sasuke. You'll get your chance." Said Orochimaru, making Sasuke turn towards the Sannin only for his eyes to widen when he saw his parents.
"T-Tou-san, K-Ka-Kaa-san?" Said Sasuke not believing he's seeing his mother and father again, only to notice the cracks along their bodies and their black sclera, along with how they didn't even glance at him.
"What is this?! Is this another of your tricks?! What did you do?!" Sasuke demanded while glaring at Itachi, believing he's responsible for what's going on now.
"Sasuke…" Itachi muttered, unable to look away from his brother and parents.
"I'm afraid this is my doing, Sasuke. I've brought all three of you back from the dead." Orochimaru said, with Sasuke looking at him again.
"You?! You were the Kusa Ninja from the-" Sasuke said, recognizing Orochimaru from the Forest of Death only to freeze when his words sunk in, that they were brought back from the dead.
Making Sasuke freeze as it all started coming back to him, the Chūnin Exams, fighting Gaara during the Finals, Suna and Oto Ninja attacking. Then going after Gaara and his siblings along with Sakura and some other Genin following after him. Only for Gaara to be covered in sand, like he was a mini Shukaku, before he pinned Sakura to a tree and began crushing her.
Then the last thing Sasuke remembered was being caught by Gaara and covered in sand, then…then…
"I…died…I'm dead." Sasuke muttered as he looked down at himself, seeing the same cracks on his parents on his arms and legs, not believing he actually died.
"That's right. Though it wasn't my intention for you to die, I'm afraid I overestimated my ability to control Suna's weapon when he finds someone he wished to kill. But even if you perished, you now have the chance to fulfill your ambition and kill Itachi." Said Orochimaru, with the youngest Uchiha's head snapping towards Itachi, glaring hatefully at him.
"Then let me! Whatever you're doing to hold me back, stop and I'll happily kill him!" Sasuke said, feeling angrier than ever to realize he's dead while Itachi still lives, not knowing how long he was like this but he'll make sure to drag Itachi down with him.
"By all means, he's yours." Orochimaru said before making a handsign, commanding Fugaku and Mikoto to attack while allowing Sasuke control of his body again.
"Fire Style: Dragon Fire Jutsu!" Sasuke said going through handsigns and unleashing a stream of fire at Itachi, with it only being thanks to his reflexes and Sharingan he jumped out of the way in time of the fire.
"Fire Style: Blast Wave Wild Dance!" Said Fugaku, making a handsign before expelling a swirling vortex of fire at Itachi.
"Water Style: Water Formation Wall!" Said Itachi, going through handsigns before spewing out a blast of water that formed a wall in front of him blocking the flames.
"Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!" Mikoto said from behind Itachi, with the living Uchiha grunting when he was engulfed in a wave of electricity before he burst into crows that were instantly vaporized by it.
"Fire Style: Hiding in Ash Jutsu!" Fugaku said, spewing out a cloud of Fire Chakra-infused ash into the air above them, forcing Itachi to jump away to avoid being burned.
Only to quickly raise his arm blocking a kick from Sasuke, leaning back when his little brother twisted his body to slam his other foot into his head. With Sasuke lunging at Itachi throwing a punch which he deflected, grunting when Sasuke immediately smashed his foot into his stomach.
"You took everything from me! You killed our parents, our clan, you left me to suffer alone, that I wasn't even worth killing like everyone else! You ruined my life, but you're the one that gets to live?!" Sasuke shouted as he threw punch after punch at Itachi, his anger only growing when all his brother did was dodge or deflect them.
"You won't even fight back?! Come on, what're you afraid of?! I have nothing left to lose anymore, so come on! Fight back!" Yelled Sasuke, lunging at the Missing-Nin only for Itachi to sidestep him.
"Earth Style: Earth Flow Spears!" Orochimaru said, slamming his hands on the ground and causing numerous stone spikes to shoot up underneath Itachi, forcing him to jump into the air to avoid being impaled.
Before he had to block a kick from his father, grunting when Mikoto got behind him slamming her fist into the back of his head sending Itachi crashing into the ground.
"Just die! Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke said, making handsigns before firing a large fireball at Itachi, with him quickly jumping out of the way of the fireball.
"Lightning Style: False Darkness!" Said Mikoto, shooting a spear of lightning that stabbed right through Itachi, only for him to vanish in a puff of smoke.
With Itachi bursting out of the ground beneath Orochimaru, burying his knee in the Snake Sannin's stomach making him gasp from the blow. Before spinning around, slamming his heel into Orochimaru's head knocking him across the room, before throwing a handful of shuriken at him.
"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Itachi said, making a handsign, causing the shuriken tom duplicate into dozens that rushed towards Orochimaru.
Only for the former Akatsuki member to freeze when his parents got in front of the Sannin, letting the shuriken tear through their bodies.
"Leave them alone!" Yelled Sasuke rushing Itachi in anger at what he did, punching him right in the face with Itachi unable to dodge, still frozen from the sight of his parents being cut apart.
Grunting from the punch sending him skidding across the ground, Itachi gritted his teeth when Sasuke threw a kunai at him which he dodged. Only for the younger Uchiha to jump and deliver a spin kick to Itachi's head knocking him back. With Sasuke charging around Itachi while going through handsigns.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu!" Sasuke said, releasing a volley of fireballs at Itachi, making him grunt as a few impacted and burned him before he turned into a swarm of crows.
"Fire Style: Great Dragon Fire Jutsu!" Said Fugaku while making a handsign before launching a giant fireball shaped like a dragons head at Itachi when he reappeared.
"Wind Style: Divine Mountain Wind!" Orochimaru said, creating a vortex of wind that caused the fireball to nearly double in size at it sped towards Itachi.
"Water Style: Water Trumpet!" Said Itachi, releasing a large jet of water through his hands that collided against the fireball, managing to hold it back.
"That won't save you from this! Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke said, unleashing a giant fireball at Itachi's side while he was focused on blocking Fugaku's and Orochimaru's Jutsu.
"Earth Style: Multi Mud Wall!" Itachi said, quickly going through handsigns before slamming his hands on the ground, causing numerous stone walls to rise up around him blocking the fire.
"You've made your own grave! Earth Style: Bedrock Coffin!" Orochimaru said, manipulating the stone walls to fully surround Itachi before having them collapse and crush the Uchiha, only for them to be blown away from the exploding Shadow Clone.
"Fire Style: Flame Whirlwind!" Itachi said with a handsign before fire erupted around him in a spiraling vortex, which he then directed right towards Orochimaru.
Though he froze when Sasuke jumped in front of the Snake Sannin, his eyes widening as the fire his brother sending him spinning through the air before crashing into the wall. Itachi finding himself unable to move when the fire revealed Sasuke's burned body which was slowly regenerating.
"Fire Style: Flame Spear!" Fugaku said, creating a blade of fire which he swung at Itachi, releasing a horizontal wave of flames.
With Itachi's body moving on its own to avoid being hit, only to grit his teeth when the fire burned him across his side. Which did help snap the Missing-Nin out of his shock of hitting Sasuke before using a quick Substitution, avoiding being burned further by the fire. Before his eyes widened when Mikoto appeared and grabbed him.
"Lightning Style: Depth Charge!" Mikoto said, with Itachi unable to stop himself from screaming in pain as Mikoto engulfed them both in lightning.
Before the female ravenette put a hand on Itachi's back, firing a bolt of lightning that launched Itachi across the room and crashed into a wall, grunting as he fell to the ground.
"Earth Style: Bottomless Swamp!" Orochimaru said, slamming his hands on the ground, turn the ground beneath Itachi into mud which he began sinking into.
Trying to get up to avoid sinking into the mud, Itachi grunted as he found himself unable to escape the sticky mud and began sinking further in.
"Fire Style: Flame Tiger Bombing!" Fugaku said, releasing a blast of fire that formed a tiger as it roared and lunged at Itachi, with it exploding on contact burning the Uchiha.
"Lightning Style: Electric Shock Needles!" Said Mikoto, forming numerous lightning needles around her which she launched at Itachi.
The living Uchiha grunted in pain as the electric needles stabbed through his body, making him feel numb all over as he struggled to avoid sinking further into the mud. Only to soon hear the sound of a thousand chirping birds, making Itachi look to see Sasuke holding his left wrist as his hand was engulfed in lightning.
"I lived my life just like you said, I've lived with a single goal, one I fought and trained to achieve. The goal…to see you dead! It's time to pay, Itachi! Chidori!" Sasuke said, dragging the Chidori across the ground as he charged at Itachi.
"Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!" Fugaku and Mikoto said, firing two massive fireballs at Itachi's sides, leaving him no place left to run even if wasn't trapped.
Seeing his brother coming at him with the intent to kill, part of Itachi was sorely tempted to let Sasuke finish it all. To give him some measure of peace at knowing he achieved his goal in the end. Only to close his eyes, knowing he can't die just yet, not when his mission wasn't complete.
"Susanoo." Itachi muttered just as the fireballs in engulfed him and Sasuke thrust the Chidori forward.
'What a pity. I was hoping to try and claim his body, but who knows if I would have succeeded in suppressing his consciousness. Oh well, I still have my-WHAT?!' Orochimaru thought, disappointed he won't get the chance to take Itachi's body for himself, only for his eyes to widen in shock when a large ethereal reddish-orange blade that looked like it was made of liquid stabbed straight through Sasuke.
When the fire and smoke faded, Orochimaru saw Itachi was surrounded by a giant fiery red skeleton, with muscle tendons and skin soon forming, before it was encased in armor. His shock only growing when he saw the sword it held was coming out of a sake gourd.
"The Sword of Totsuka?!" Orochimaru said in disbelief at the sight of the sword he had searched for, not expecting Itachi to have it in his possession.
Along with feeling nervous and even fearful, given the power of the sword and what it did to any who were pierced by it.
While Sasuke looked down at the sword stabbed through his body in disbelief and despair, seeing how it seemed to begin absorbing him into the gourd. Only to look up when he felt a poke on his forehead, his eyes widening when he saw Itachi smiling at him.
"Forgive me, Sasuke. But this is it." Itachi said before Sasuke was fully absorbed into the gourd.
Itachi immediately had his Susanoo swing the sword, slashing both his parents as they were absorbed as well, leaving all three trapped in a "world of drunken dreams".
'May you find peace.' Thought Itachi before his eyes hardened as his Mangekyō Sharingan glowed eerily as he turned back to Orochimaru.
"Amaterasu." Itachi said launching black flames at the Sannin, with Orochimaru quickly jumping out of the way of them.
Only to grunt in pain when the Susanoo slammed its fist into his body, sending him crashing into the wall.
"Fire Style: Demon Lanterns!" Itachi said, creating several fireballs that turned into demon heads, launching them at Orochimaru.
"Earth Style: Mud Wall!" Said Orochimaru, going through handsigns before slamming his hands on the ground, forming a stone wall in front of him only for the demon heads to explode destroying the wall the moment they touched it.
"Fire Style: Crimson Earth Spider!" Said Itachi, creating a ring of fire around Orochimaru before a large spider formed from the flames and rushed the Sannin.
"Water Style: Wild Water Wave!" Orochimaru said, shooting out a water jet at the spider and evaporating it.
"Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!" Itachi said, making a handsign before firing a wave of electricity at Orochimaru that was empowered as it hit the water and rushed at the Snake Sannin.
With Orochimaru crying out as the lightning engulfed him, tearing through his body before he was launched back into the snake statue behind his throne.
"Lightning Style: False Darkness!" Said Itachi having his Susanoo fire a spear of lightning from its mouth towards Orochimaru stabbing straight through his body, only for his mouth to open as he began pulling himself out of his damaged skin.
But before Orochimaru could fully pull himself out, Itachi's Susanoo smashed its fist down on top of him, crushing him against the ground before bringing its fist up and then back down on the Sannin. Itachi repeated this for a few moments, watching as his Susanoo crushed Orochimaru again and again.
"Fire Style: Ash Pile Burning!" Itachi said, releasing a cloud of Chakra-infused gunpowder that engulfed Orochimaru.
"Amaterasu." Said Itachi igniting the gunpowder, triggering an explosion of black fire around the Snake Sannin, feeling a dark satisfaction as he heard Orochimaru's screams.
Once the smoke cleared, Itachi saw Orochimaru's half-burned body on the ground, before the mouth was pulled open and the Sannin emerged panting heavily. With Itachi feeling pleased when he made his final mistake.
"Tsukuyomi." Itachi said as he locked eyes with Orochimaru.
*Tsukuyomi World*
Orochimaru looked around wildly wondering where he was, seeing everything around him was black and white, with a blood red sky.
"What kind of Genjutsu is this?!" Orochimaru said, flaring his Chakra to try and break out of it before biting his lip hard enough to draw blood, only for nothing to change.
"One that you won't escape from until I decide to release it, for you see. Only a wielder of the Sharingan can resist Tsukuyomi, while only a truly skilled user of the Sharingan can break out of it." Said Itachi as he appeared in front of the Snake Sannin.
Before Orochimaru screamed in agony when spiked chains shot forward wrapping around his body, lifting him into the air and placing him on a cross. His screams growing louder as stakes were driven into his hands and feet.
"This is Tsukuyomi, a Genjutsu only a select few can hope to awaken with the Mangekyō Sharingan. And here, I am god, I control everything, I can turn seconds in days, weeks, months, even years. Now…you'll learn why you shouldn't have crossed me, for the next seventy-two hours, you will suffer." Itachi said before Orochimaru was dropped to the ground on his hands and knees.
Though when he tried standing up, Orochimaru began coughing up blood as his vision became blurry.
"Wh-what is h-ha-h-ha-happen-" Orochimaru said only for his eyes to widen in horror when he looked at his hand and saw it was withering away with age.
"You feared death so much you desired to gain immortality so you would never die. Now feel what you feared so much." Said Itachi as the Snake Sannin began shaking at feeling his body rapidly aging.
His horror only growing as he soon collapsed the ground, unable to even stay on his hands and knees, groaning in pain as he could feel his organs slowly shutting down one-by-one. Until soon only his heart was left before that stopped as well.
But despite that Orochimaru could still see and hear clearly, before mentally screaming in pure agony when he felt crows began pecking at his corpse. Tearing away pieces of flesh, pecking open his chest so they could get at his organs, the Snake Sannin wanted so badly to scream when one ripped out his eye. Only for it to grow worse when he began feeling maggots burrowing into what was left of his body, feeling them crawling and moving along and inside his body, eating what the crows left behind. Until soon he began feeling dirty being tossed on top of him as he was buried. Feeling the urge to cough as the dirt entered his mouth, but was unable to do anything as soon darkness enveloped him.
Yet despite it all, Orochimaru could still see and feel everything, the weight of the dirt, the maggots in his body, the endless of pain of his decomposing body.
Before suddenly he gasped as he was back to normal, once again bound to a cross in front of Itachi, panting heavily at the horrifying illusion. With his horror only growing at Itachi's next words.
"Seventy-one hours, fifty-nine minutes and fifty-nine seconds to go." Itachi stated, much to Orochimaru's horror that only one second had passed by through all of that.
With him soon screaming in complete and utter agony when barbed wired stabbed into his body and moving around, cutting and slashing him apart from the inside out.
*Real World*
A second passed by before Itachi ended the Tsukuyomi, watching as Orochimaru collapsed to the ground unmoving with blood leaking out his eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
Having, just this once, tapped into the Curse of Hatred his clan is known for, using the darkest parts of himself he kept buried and unleashed hundreds of inhuman tortures and agonies on the Snake Sannin. Ensuring that each torture was worse than the last, having torn him apart physically and mentally numerous times.
It even reached the point Orochimaru had simply begged for death, to end the pain and simply kill him, saying anything he could if it would stop the pain. With Itachi simply ignoring his begging and continued the torture. Not stopping until he was sure any fragment of Orochimaru's mind had been reduced to mush, that not even Tsunade could restore a fraction of his sanity.
"Good riddance." Itachi muttered before stabbing the braindead Sannin's body with the Sword of Totsuka, absorbing him into the gourd as well, wanting to ensure he's truly gone.
Once the body was absorbed, Itachi collapsed to his knees with his Susanoo fading away, bringing a hand up to his mouth as he began coughing. Taking a moment to catch himself, Itachi stood up on shaky legs, leaning against the wall for support, pulling his hand away to see it was stained with blood.
'Using my Mangekyō Sharingan so many times…it's lessened what time I have left. But…it's done, my mission is over…at last.' Itachi thought since Orochimaru had been his last target.
Having already tracked down Danzō and killed him along with all of his ROOT Anbu, sealing all of them away with the Sword of Totsuka as well. Ensuring none of them would ever endanger the world more than they already had. While Gaara was already slain by Jiraiya during the Konoha Crush, the Toad Sage having used a mix of Sage Mode and Fūinjutsu to overpower Gaara and suppress Shukaku. Leaving only Orochimaru and his own allies, with them now being taken care of as well.
'I've dealt with them all, now…to just wait.' Thought Itachi as he turned to leave, knowing the only thing left for him to do is wait for the end, either from his illness or the Akatsuki tracking him down.
But just before he could leave the base, Itachi stopped and looked at the snake statue behind the throne, frowning when he saw the damage done to it had revealed another passageway in its mouth. The sight confusing the Uchiha at what Orochimaru could have kept hidden down there.
'I can't take any chances.' Itachi thought before heading down the passage, not wanting to risk Orochimaru having some fallback plan in the event he dies or some secret experiment.
Though the moment he reached the end of the passage, finding it was a hidden lab, Itachi's eyes widened when he saw a large glass container filled with liquid. Shocked when he saw there was a girl no older than five-years old floating inside of it. But what really shocked the Missing-Nin, though, was her appearance.
With the girls having lightly tanned skin, her nails on her hands and feet being claws, elongated canines peeking out of her mouth, three jagged whisker marks on her cheeks and the most shocking was the long, bright red hair floating around her.
'No…' Thought Itachi, looking around for any clue of just who this girl was, before finding some papers on a table and rushed over to see what they said.
Reading over the notes, Itachi wasn't sure what to feel as he learned who the girl was, with her not being who he expected. Instead she was a clone that Orochimaru had created, a clone created from Naruto Uzumaki.
Learning that not long after he'd been killed by Zabuza Momochi on the Great Naruto Memorial Bridge, named in honor of him for giving the Land of Waves hope again, Orochimaru had Kabuto swap his body with a fake. Wanting to study the body of an Uzumaki, one that had the Kyūbi sealed inside of them.
With the Snake Sannin then extracting enough DNA samples to create a clone, while infusing it with other Uzumaki DNA samples he managed to gather, strengthening the clone's Uzumaki DNA and physiology with them.
The other DNA having come from Kushina Uzumaki, Naruto's own mother and the second Jinchūriki of the Kyūbi.
Mito Uzumaki the first Jinchūriki of the Kyūbi and wife of the Shodai Hokage, Hashirama Senju.
Karin Uzumaki, a pureblooded Uzumaki from Kusa that Orochimaru found and recruited during the Chūnin Exams, where he initiated what became known as the Konoha Crush.
Tayuya of the Sound Four, a half-Uzumaki member of his elite team and bodyguards that he discovered was of Uzumaki descent during the cloning process.
And the final one was Tsunade herself, being Mito's granddaughter and part Uzumaki, as well as the granddaughter of the Shodai Hokage. Having managed to gain plenty of samples of her genetic material on Danzō's orders, when he was her teammate, and fresh samples that he gained when he persuaded her to heal his arms.
All of the new samples made it so the girl turned out to be a pureblooded Uzumaki, but Orochimaru didn't stop there with the DNA he introduced into the clones system. Having also included the DNA of some of his subordinates with unique and powerful Kekkei Genkai that interested him.
A boy named Jūgo who was able to passive absorb Natural Energy and utilize Senjutsu without any consequences, aside from becoming homicidal in his Sage Transformation. As well as being able to absorb and transfer Chakra. With Orochimaru believing the clone's enhanced Uzumaki Physiology would counteract the insanity.
The next being from a woman named Guren, who possessed the Shōton Kekkei Genkai, which even Itachi had heard about. Knowing how dangerous and versatile it could be.
After that was Kimimaro Kaguya, the last of the Kaguya Clan and only one to have awakened their Kekkei Genkai, the Shikotsumyaku, in recent history. The one Kekkei Genkai Orochimaru wanted even more than the Sharingan, unfortunately Kimimaro had a terminal illness making him useless as a future vessel. While know that the physical enhancements that the Shikotsumyaku grants its user would compliment the clone's Uzumaki physiology, and Senju physiology from Tsunade's DNA, very well.
The last DNA samples came from Itachi's own mother Mikoto and Naori Uchiha, as an alternative means to get the Sharingan after Sasuke had been killed by Gaara in the Konoha Crush.
Though apparently Orochimaru had wanted to use Itachi's own DNA and/or Fugaku's and Shisui's, having obtained samples of the former back when they were both still Konoha Ninja and the Sannin worked for Danzō. But he used Mikoto's and Naori's instead, due to not wanting to risk introducing too much male DNA into a female clone, not wanting to risk any defects or anomalies. Given how delicate the cloning process was to begin with, especially when introducing foreign DNA samples, Orochimaru refused to take any chances.
There were even plans to implement Hashirama cells to the clone, but decided against it after how his previous experiments with them ended in failure. Which played a role in Orochimaru deciding to use Tsunade's DNA as a safer substitute, hoping to see if the clone could awaken the recessive trait for the Mokuton she carries. With Orochimaru even bringing back Ginkaku and Kinkaku for a brief time with the Edo Tensei, transferring the Kyūbi Chakra within them into the clone with the Kinjutsu's ability to grant those revived with it unlimited amount of Bijū Chakra allowing for him to infuse her with.
'He…was trying to make his own perfect vessel. A Pseudo-Jinchūriki Uzumaki with their powerful lifeforce, vitality and Chakra, with enough of the Kyūbi's Chakra to put her on par with a True Jinchūriki without having to struggle with the Bijū to utilize its power. While also being able to utilize Sage Mode and Sage Transformations, the Shōton, the Shikotsumyaku, the Sharingan, the potential to unlock the Mokuton, every Kekkei Genkai he could want in a single body for him to take.' Itachi thought while clenching his fists, knowing if Orochimaru had taken the clone as a vessel then there's no telling if anyone could have stopped him.
The only thing that was stopping Orochimaru is that he planned to release the clone once she had matured enough to train and gain a solid foundation for her abilities, setting the ground work for the Snake Sannin to master and refine them to new heights. As well as wishing for the clone to unlock the Mangekyō Sharingan, since Orochimaru knew that he was incapable of unlocking it himself with his sociopathy. Having intended to manipulate her into later befriending someone before later tricking her into killing them.
This being when Orochimaru would make his move to make the clone's body his own, when she was emotionally shattered from killing her best friend with a fresh Mangekyō Sharingan that Orochimaru could claim for himself.
Looking back at the test tube, Itachi checked the information on it and saw the clone was stable enough to leave the incubator, before he flushed the liquids out. Once it was empty, Itachi opened it up while removing his Akatsuki cloak, tossing it over the girl and lifted her out of the tube.
'Perhaps I can still do something right.' Itachi thought, having planned to simply wait for his time to run out after dealing with Orochimaru.
But now, he intended to use what time he had left to help the clone, to raise her and train her to master the abilities she has, to honor those whose blood was used to create her.
"You'll be safe now and I will help you…Naruko Uzumaki." Itachi said while looking at the girl, deciding on a name as he left the base with a new purpose.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Itachi hunting down Orochimaru, having already killed Kabuto and the rest of his allies (and before them Danzō and his ROOT Anbu), where we learn through a flashback that Konoha was destroyed during the Konoha Crush with Sasuke being killed by Gaara, while Naruto was killed by Zabuza in the Land of Waves. Leading to him leaving the Akatsuki, no longer having a reason to remain with the organization, encountering Kisame as he left (mirroring when Roxas encountered Axel after leaving Organization XIII).
We then see Itachi and Orochimaru battle, going back and forth a little until Itachi gains the advantage, only for Orochimaru to then use Edo Tensei, bringing back Fugaku, Mikoto and Sasuke, leaving Itachi unable to bring himself to attack his family. Only able to defeat them after sealing them away with the Sword of Totsuka, before then tapping into his Curse of Hatred and begins brutalizing Orochimaru. Ending it with using Tsukuyomi to physically and mentally torture the Sannin until he's left braindead, before sealing him as well.
Finally we see Itachi prepared to leave, ready to wait for either his illness to claim him or for the Akatsuki to hunt him down. Only to discover a secret passageway, where he finds a clone Orochimaru created from Naruto's DNA, infusing it with DNA from Kushina, Mito, Karin, Tayuya and Tsunade, resulting in the clone being female. As well as infusing her with DNA from Jūgo, Guren, Kimimaro and Mikoto and Naori, granting her all their Kekkei Genkai as well, plus the potential to awaken the Mokuton from Tsunade's DNA. As well as having temporarily revived Kinkaku and Ginkaku, infusing her with their Kyūbi Chakra to rival even True Jinchūriki without the drawback of fighting a Bijū.
This leads Itachi to releasing the girl, intending to use what time he has left to raise and train her, seeing it as a chance for him to do something right, while giving her the name Naruko.
