Chapter 1

Danny began to stir as his family began to wake up. As the sixteen-year-old got up, he couldn't help but notice that he was still sore from last night's game. He walked to his bathroom to start his morning with a smile.

Danny loves his life as he has everything he ever wanted. He was the most popular kid at Casper high and an A lister. He was also one of the school's hockey team's star players as he was the only student ever to make the varsity team when he was a freshman. Many college scouts have been very interested in him, hoping they could recruit him.

Also, Danny is considered the second richest kid in school as Maddie began her own company with hopes to help man kind and the planet by taking closer steps into the future than anyone else. It became very successful since she was the first person ever to create an artificial heart that earned a Nobel Peace prize for putting an end to people waiting to get a new heart and other organs.

For Danny Witcher, his life was perfect.

As Danny got out of the shower began to get dressed as he put on a black shirt, Blue jeans, and a pair of black work boots. After Danny finished getting dressed, he grabbed his phone and wallet from his nightstand. The boy began to walk out of his room and headed downstairs to join his mothers for breakfast.

A year after his father's death, Maddie decided to start dating again. After dating a few people, she ended up dating Allison Witcher, the Mayor of Amity Park. As time went on, the couple became closer and closer. When Danny met Allison for the first time, they ended up getting along quite well. After a year of them being together, Alisson took Maddie and Danny to Italy so that she could propose to Maddie.

As their wedding day got closer and closer, she asked Danny if it would be okay if she could adopt him, to which he happily agreed as he saw Allison as a mother figure as well as his mom. The wedding was the happiest day of their lives as it was the day they became a real family.

Danny sat down while Maddie's cooking. Allison ruffled the boy's hair. Soon the three were having breakfast as they usually do.

" Alli, I will be working late tonight, so could you be in charge of dinner for you and Danny?" Maddie asked as she adjusted her blouse and dress skirt.

" Sure thing. Besides, I'm going to be home earlier than usual, so I might as well be the one making dinner," The blonde said and started getting ready.

" Hey Danny, do you need a ride to school," Allison asked as she adjusted her pantsuit.

" Sorry, mama, I'm meeting my friends before school starts," The athlete said.

" It's no problem," The mayor said as she kissed her son's cheek, " Love you, sweety." She then walked up to her wife and kissed her lovingly, wishing her a good day.

As Danny finished his food, he started getting his things together as he had to meet his friends. He grabbed his backpack and the duffle bag full of hockey gear and walked out.

Time skip 20 minutes.

" So my parents are going to be out of town next week. So I was thinking of throwing one of my signature parties," Dash said as he walked along with Danny for the last few blocks.

Danny smiled at his friend, knowing how Dash gets when his parents leave for a weekend. He and Dash have been friends since middle school. He was the kid that sat alone as he moved to amity park until Danny decided to befriend the boy. Ever since then, the boys have been close friends. Dash was about to say something else until he got interrupted.

" Hi Danny," As two girls walked up to them. Danny smiled as he saw Star and Paulina waving at him as they walked to school, making sure to sway their hips after passing by them in hopes of Danny noticing. To their luck, Danny couldn't help but stare at them.

After a short while, they met up with the rest of their friends as they continued to walk to school.

Time skip to lunch.

" The hell is this slope," Kwan said while staring at a pile of mud in front of him.

" Forget that. I want to know how the fuck could grass grow on bread," The boy asked as he picked up a piece of bread with actual bread on it.

" You can blame Manson for that one," Valarie said as she pointed towards the table that occupied two people, Sam Manson and Tucker Foley.

" Let me guess, she's doing one of her 'Awareness' stunts again," Star said as she pushed the food away from her.

" Yup, This week it's Ultra-Recycle-Vegetarian week. She was able to convince the school to serve it this week, " Valarie said. Kwan, being the brave one of the group, decided to take a bite of the food. Suddenly, the boy turned green and ran to the closest restroom.

" Okay, I'm out of here," Danny said as he got up from the table. He decided to get some food off campus.

Timeskip three hours.

Danny walked into the house as he saw Allison kneeling on the floor, going through boxes. Putting his things down before slamming the door closed, getting his mother's attention.

" Hey, sweetheart. Did you have a good day at school," The mayor said as she looked back at the boxes.

" It was decent, but what's with all the boxes," the youngest Witcher asked as he watched Allison go through the box in front of her.

" Just going through them to clear up some space in the garage," she said.

Danny nodded, knowing that the blonde hated clutter as she always preferred open spaces. Danny began to walk to his room but stopped halfway as he saw something that shocked him. He picked up a picture of his father smiling while carrying a younger version of Danny on his shoulders with the biggest smile you could see on a child. Allison looked up and frowned at him as she knew what he was holding.

Danny put the picture down and looked through the box, seeing the things that belonged to his father. He noticed other pictures of his dad, the awards he earned in his life, and other junk.

" You okay Danny," Allison asked as she got up from the floor and walked towards him.

" Yeah, just surprised is all," Danny said as he began to move the box he looked to find another box that said Jack on it as he went through that one. He saw another picture, only this time it was with Jack, Maddie, Jazz, and him ten years ago, standing in front of the old house he lived in before he and Maddie moved in with Allison.

' Has it been that long,' Danny thought as he looked through the box,' I haven't thought about dad in years. I can't even remember anything about him, not even his voice.' Danny then found a small cloth bag that contained something inside. Pulling it out he couldn't help but smile as he saw the only thing that he remembered of his father.

' Now this I remember. Dad always used to roll this across his knuckles,' he thought as he held the gold coin that his dad once owned. The coin had a symbol of a genie on one side and a crown on the other.

Getting tired of looking through the boxes, he decided to put them back as they were and to try to get his mind off it.

" Hey if you need me I'll be in the pool," the boy said as he went upstairs to change with the coin still in his hand. Unknown to him that his life will change forever as the coin began to glow.
