Chapter 1

Explosions could be heard all around, screams of the natives of this planet, and the smell of blood was very thick. In the middle of all the chaos stood a Saiyan. The second most powerful of his race. A race on the brink of extinction. He was doing to the natives of this planet what that tyrant Frieza did to his people, and he was disgusted with himself.

Disgusted with how weak he is. Disgusted with how he is forced to do things he hates. How he must go and subjugate planets and natives of said planet in the name of Lord Frieza. The Saiyan standing in the middle of all this carnage is named Mugen. He is one of the seven Saiyan's that survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Getting lost in thought, He hated that evil thing with his very being. He wanted to rebel against him. Yet, he knew that was impossible at this point. Said Saiyan had a wife and child that could be used as hostages. A deep part of him wished he could defect from Frieza's army and leave with his family. Yet he could not, his Saiyan comrades would die if he did. Even though he could care less about Raditz, Nappa, and even Vegeta. They are still his kin.

Mugen is a handsome young male with a scar that goes over his left eye. He is about five'10" with black spiky hair with two small bangs that hang over his forehead, with a brownish hue. (He has Vegito's hairstyle) He wears a tight black body suit that shows off his physique, and only wears the bottom half of his Saiyan armor, which is dark blue. He keeps his tail wrapped around his waist. Instead of wearing gloves he wraps his hands and his forearms in bandages. To top it off he wears white combat boots like Vegeta. Mugen's power level is 17,000.

Now, thinking of his kin the weakest Saiyan alive came to his mind. Raditz is a disgrace to a Saiyan if you ask Mugen. He has long spiky black hair that reaches near his ankles. Raditz is as about six ft with a kind of bulky frame. He wears standard Saiyan armor. He has no morals and would do anything to please Vegeta and Nappa. He has a power level of 1,500, not very impressive, he is truly pathetic in the eyes of Mugen.

Next to come to his mind is Nappa. He is a big meathead in Mugen's opinion, a fool who does not really have the strength to back up his words. Nappa is bald with a goatee; he stands at about six ft 10 and is very bulky. He also wore standard Saiyan armor. His power level is 4,000, and he is another Saiyan who Mugen believes is pathetic.

Vegeta the Saiyan prince is an enigma to him. Vegeta is about five ft 5 tall with spiky black hair. Vegeta is without a doubt the strongest Saiyan alive, with a power level of 18,000. The most prideful being in the universe. His only ambition is to avenge his race and prove his strength. Yet there lies his problem, he cares for nothing other than his ambitions. Not his sister, who is Mugen's wife, not Mugen's son, who is his nephew. If it does not concern his ambition, or what he believes is strength, he simply does not care.

Mugen never really understood Vegeta, to him, Vegeta is the second most selfish person in the universe, only second to Frieza. Mugen sneers in contempt, thinking about the midget emperor. The emperor really makes the young Saiyan's skin crawl. Frieza is the tyrant that enslaved his people and destroyed his home planet. He is the one that forces Mugen to slaughter the inhabitants of any planet that refuses to bow down to him. He is the most powerful being in the universe. Frieza is a small alien with red eyes that gives Mugen nightmares. He stands at about five ft 2 with a long pink tail and has two horns protruding out of side of his head.

Mugen could feel his rage rising as he left the planet on which he committed a mass genocide. He was ashamed of himself and hoped he and his family would be able to escape Frieza's clutches. He had to remind himself the only reason he did this was to protect his wife and child. His ambitious son Lotus, beautiful wife Nachi the Princess of the Saiyan's.

Nachi is five ft 6 with long raven colored hair in a ponytail that reached her mid back. Nachi does not suffer from a widow's peak like her brother. She had an hourglass figure with a heart shaped face, big eyes, and subtle pink lips. When she smiles, she could light up a galaxy in Mugen's opinion. She is vastly different from her brother; she has an upbeat and mischievous personality. She is quite powerful with a power level of 7,000, even though she is not a warrior. She prefers to work on machines and build new things, which are very innovative in her field of work, even Frieza values her contributions.

Lotus is short standing at about three ft 9 with spiky black hair. (He has the Xeno verse hairstyle that looks like Kakashi from Naruto) Other than his hair he looks like a carbon copy of his father, without the scars. Lotus is like Vegeta in the aspect of wanting to be the strongest and both have extremely high egos. The difference is that they both have two separate ways of attaining strength. Vegeta believes that to have strength you must be cold and ruthless, uninhibited by emotions. While Lotus' belief in gaining strength is more like his father's. Although he is very condescending and prideful just like his uncle.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Mugen's scouter began to alert him. Raditz sent a distress signal for the other Saiyan's to listen in. Mugen rolls his eyes and says "Only Raditz would struggle on a planet with low battle power like earth." He clicked his scouter and heard the last words of Raditz.

ON EARTH

"I can't believe he sacrificed his own life just to save this place!" Raditz says While lying in a pool of his own blood.

Piccolo heard him and decided to give him some parting words. ", Goku will be back alive by the end of the week. On this planet we have something called dragon balls, and they grant any wish. Even bringing the dead back to life."

After hearing this Raditz laughed. "Aha Haa it doesn't really matter, I have two Saiyan comrades I know will be here, if not to avenge me then for those dragon balls."

Goku hearing this asked. "How long until they get here?"

"You have one-year Kakarot, and both are far more powerful than me." He started laughing afterwards and Piccolo finished him off. Goku passed away shortly after.

BACK WITH MUGEN

Shaking his head in disappointment at Raditz, Mugen contacts Nappa and Vegeta. "Did you two hear that?"

Vegeta scoffs at Raditz. "Yes, I heard that weakling. Such a disgrace, but those dragon balls sound interesting indeed."

"Yes indeed, do you plan on going to earth?" Mugen wandered. At this moment Nappa decided to speak. "Hey Vegeta, I think we should go. We could bring Raditz Back." Vegeta scoffs "Why would we waste our wish on that idiot, any Saiyan who loses to such weakling does not deserve to live. I have grander plans Nappa, how does eternal life sound?"

"That sounds amazing. If we have eternal life that means nobody can beat us, then there is no need for Raditz!" Nappa exclaimed.

"Right, then we will ascend to our rightful place as rulers of the universe." Vegeta greedily agreed.

Mugen hearing this and thinking both were idiots, decided not to say anything and told them he would meet them there. He then connected his scouter to a line with just him his wife and his child.

"I seriously work with idiots." Mugen said in resignation.

"Agreed, do those to idiots not realize the flaw in their plan." His wife Nachi said in annoyance.

"What flaw? I do not see one." Lotus said in confusion.

Nachi just sighed at her son short sidedness. While his father grunted in annoyance. "The flaw is that being immortal does not solve their lack of battle power problem. So, if they were to become immortal and challenge Frieza, they would still lose." She explained in a chastising tone.

Being the stubborn one Lotus was he attempted to defend the plan." they could train until they are stronger than him." He responded heatedly. Seeing that Lotus was not understanding Mugen spoke up. "Frieza heard their conversation as well son. He will not just sit back and let them do that before you say they will survive they are immortal there are things worse than death." He said in a tone of melancholy, while rubbing the scar on his face.

"I understand father, can I go to earth with you?" he asked hoping to change the mood a bit.

"No return to your mother, you just finished a mission from Vegeta did you not?" Mugen asked already knowing just wanting confirmation.

"Yes, and fine you mean old man!" he replied while also grumbling about old men hogging all the fun. A tick mark appeared on Mugen's forehead.

"I am not that old YOU DAMN SQUIRT!" He shouted in response. It was Lotus turn to gain a tick mark on his head.

Nachi, finding it amusing decided to annoy her husband. "Mugen you are quite old." She said in an even tone as if it was an undeniable fact. Mugen gained another tick mark and replied fiercely. "Woman, YOU ARE OLDER THAN I AM!"

After he said that he felt a chill go down his spine. Even Lotus started sweating. Nachi spoke in the sweetest not so sweet voice and asked, "I did not hear you; can you repeat that?"

Mugen's self-preservation kicked in and he replied the safest way he knew how. "I did not say anything honey." She started talking normal again afterwards.

Lotus shook his head at his father, then something came to his mind.

"Mother how can Lord Frieza hear Vegeta's conversations and not ours?" he asked in confusion.

"Because your uncle refused to take the scouter, I gave you and your father. Saying that his and mine were the same not knowing his is bugged, and since he was being an asshole, I did not tell him." She replied grumbling about arrogant pricks.

Mugen started chuckling "That sounds like Vegeta."

"That does sound like uncle." Lotus agreed.

"I will contact you both when I get to earth." Mugen said ending their conversation. After saying their goodbyes Mugen fell back into his thoughts. He has a great feeling about earth even though Raditz did die there. He just felt something good would come of their visit to earth.
