Azure King: Hey everyone, this fic was a special little fun treat I had done in secret until I finally got it finally done. Its going to be something before the events of the hentai/VN so do expect some things going to take some time. So sorry about the lack of updatesI got really sick, thankfully it was not COVID but a really bad stomach flu that took me out of commission for a while. So sorry about that all.
The story took some time to get it right and hope you all like it.
CHAPTER START!
In a holy room filled with white, marble pillars bathed in golden light were two people; one human wearing a large, black jacket that nearly covered his body, while the other was someone of goddess-like beauty. She had long, shiny blonde hair, clear emerald eyes that held love and warmth in them, and a figure so amazing that it would be a crime to call her anything short of beautiful. Her body was barely covered by the minimum of white robes that loosely adorned her body.
The man moved forward, shaking his head. "Lady Celestine, I believe this may not be a good idea; a summoning ritual is too dangerous, after all. Besides, your vague vision and request may make it difficult to summon a being that would properly assist you." He stated as the two slowly created a magic circle in the center of the room. "Magic isn't this bound to rules, but rituals are the few times that they are considered the worst magics to use. Are you sure you want to do this? It is no shame in backing away, and remember, once the ritual is complete, you will lose a powerful amount of mana for a dangerously long time, regardless of its success."
The woman nodded slowly, placing a hand on her hefty bosom. "I know, but I believe my faith in the Elven Gods will be kind enough to send us a hero who will help stop this useless war. Please, my old friend, let me try."
"Ahhh…" Breathing out an air full of pity and exhaustion, he nodded. "Alright. Most of the items we were able to procure… but without a piece of any of the Forbidden Lands, it will be risky. Are you ready?" Watching the woman steel herself by taking a breath of air, she nodded when she opened her eyes, filled with determination to save her people.
Slamming down his hand the magic seal glowed blue as he spoke, "Now, quickly ask for a worthy ally to help. I can only hold on for another minute before it dies out!" He shouted as he looked in pain as the woman spoke.
"Oh Elven Gods, Hunters, and Protectors of my mother's time… I beseech you, a war between your children is going to harm the humans. I do not wish to have more lives lost in this stalemate. Please send a hero, a champion, to fight for my cause. Someone who believes in second chances, and helps the people regardless of status-"
The light suddenly faded, and she turned to see the young man falling to his knees while clutching his chest. "Maxwell, I didn't mean to push your-"
The man raised a hand to stop her words, "I am fine, just winded. Did it work?" He said looking around, before lowering his head in shame. "I… I believe we lost something that wasn't worth the risk." He murmured at the failure. "We needed a place with more mana to summon the champion we seek. It was all for naught!" Maxwell shouted, kicking a nearby rock out the way in frustration.
"No, it was my fault," Celestine bowed her head in shame. "I was foolish to believe in my own luck to consider another option." Pulling herself together the woman looked at the young man, "We need to gather the Shield Maidens post haste. We must call for another meeting for a defensive battle."
However, if the two were to look at the glass ceiling above them, they would've spotted a beam of light flying through the afternoon sky. That beam of light passed by them, flying away from any of the castles, and away from civilization.
(UNKNOWN LOCATION)
The beam of light arrived at an ancient ruin that no man or being has ever touched, judging the age of time of the statues and huts that were across the area, filled with cracks and moss that crawled for decades without anything to stop them. As the light faded, only a young man was left in a small watering hole, groaning at the sudden, unpleasant travel.
"Ah!" He shouted when felt the water nearly flooding his nose. Ignoring his soaking clothes, the young man looked down to see his reflection. Blue eyes stared back at each other, which came from a head with spiky, blond hair that was bright as the gentle sun, his skin a healthy peach color, and six whisker marks on his face.
"Where… am I?" He asked himself, still disoriented from the flight. After a few moments, his memories began to work again.
(A FEW HOURS AGO)
The blond teen was fighting against a perfect clone of himself, both of them shirtless as they matched blow for blow in their spar. Neither of them allowed the other to land a successful strike, until one took the fist to the cheek...only for him to grab it while turning to appear he took the hit. Using his clone's momentum, he slammed the copy into the floor as it popped into a cloud of smoke!
"Done!" he shouted in joy, before letting out a yawn. It's been since the crack of dawn when he started the fighting training, and he was just now starting to feel a little worn out. Grabbing his shirt that he placed next to a tall enough rock and donning it, he did some light stretching thinking on what had happened.
This young man is named Naruto Uzumaki, a genin of his village Konoha. Recently, or technically three years ago, he left with his perverted teacher to get stronger. The reason was because he lost and failed a mission to retrieve his best friend, who deserted their village to get more power from a madman who wanted to take his body. Its been a long, three years of training, with some of it being dumb moments like bailing his preverted teacher out of situations. Despite his flaws, he really was a good trainer, with the pervert even telling him recently that he'll make sure that he gets better at his hand to hand fighting before they headed back home. Now it was time for him to-
FLASH~!
The blond looked down to see seals written in an odd language he never saw under him, slowly pulling him to the ground! His feet were the first to enter as it slowly pulled him inch by inch, he looked around and saw the rock before throwing a small chain around it to pull himself towards it...only to do nothing as the process continued.
"Hey gaki, apparently if we get to the Nearby village not only we can reach Konoha faster but- Naruto!" Casually walking past the rock with a phablet covering his face, until he lowered in shock to see his student being dragged down! He was a tall and well-built man in adulthood with fair skin. He had waist-length, spiky white hair that he usually ties back into a ponytail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. There were red lines under his eyes going all the way to the bottom. His attire consisted of a green short shirt kimono and matching pants, under which he wore mesh armour that is visible at his wrists and ankles. He also wore hand guards, a black belt, traditional Japanese wooden sandals, and a red haori with two yellow circles on each side. He often carried a large scroll on his back, and he wore a horned forehead protector with the kanji for "oil". This was Naruto teacher in this training trip, Jiraiya of the Sennin.
"Crap, Ero-sennin help!" He shouted, unable to fight as hard as he wanted due to the tiredness he had from his training session he was unable to muster enough strength to pull out fast enough.
"Naruto!" Dashing towards the teen before leaping forward to at least join Naruto! "Grab my hand!"
"Sensi-!" was all he could say, before an otherworldly force pulled him in entirely, as Jiraiya looked at the spot just barely a inch where he could have reached Naruto. Looking at the symbol he glared at the thing that could have stolen his student...his godson from his grasp. "Naruto...I'll find you, I swear it!" He vowed not letting his precious student go missing. No time for brothels or floozy women, he needs to get to Konoha immediately to tell Tsunade-hime what just happened.
Naruto looked around to see nothing but stone statues and homes around him.
"Where am I?" he repeated once again, before taking a moment to collect himself. He was shinobi, who recently had better training. The first thing he had to do was assess his new surroundings. Making his hands create a cross hand sign he shouted out, "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!"
The area was filled with five more Naruto's all looking at the original. "Find anything that can help us. Break!" He said, and the clones immediately did what he said while the boss went to the least destroyed statue of a man with pointed ears wielding a beautiful sword. "Definitely not anywhere near Konoha…" Naruto mused, knowing that no one had pointed ears where he lived.
Minutes turn to hours as the clones return with mushrooms, water, and, thankfully, sheets and pillows. The original sighed in relief that he was in some kind of forest, given the land around him; he was already well versed on living off the land as a kid when the village didn't allow him to eat in restaurants.
However something was off about one particular mushroom. It was similar to how carrots and daikon radishes usually form, but the tip was glowing blue...that didn't send any hope to him. Smelling it, he could tell it wasn't poisonous to the point it could kill him, but he threw it into the other pile of mushrooms that he was hesitant to eat.
Grabbing a scroll from his pants, Naruto managed to summon new clothing, cooking pots, and some basic survival gear. "Time to eat." he said, throwing the mushrooms into a pot as he placed water in it. As one clone started a fire, the young man took a moment to think..
'I am nowhere near home, or maybe in the same country, given that some of these plants are not even remotely what I ate back home,' Naruto thought to himself as he saw one clone try the first new mushroom...before paling at the horrible taste it must have. As he took out some basic spices for the simple mushroom soup, he noted out loud, "After some rest, I need to figure out the location I'm in. The faster I can find one of Ero-sennin networks, the faster I can contact him to help me return home." In case of emergencies like kidnapping or separation due to fighting rogue shinobi, Jiraiya informed his student on his passwords and phrases to send him messages all over the Elemental Nations.
Naruto finished his soup while also noticing the clone who ate the odd mushroom was rubbing his stomach, meaning that the mushroom wasn't meant for human consumption- or at the very least, it was raw. The afternoon of the land quickly became nightfall, and despite the situation, Naruto felt...at ease sleeping, as if no harm would come to him in these ruins. Waking up from the night in the forest was no big deal as Naruto created more clones to replenish his food supplies. Using a few containment seals, Naruto was set for at least a week of roughing it on foot.
Starting early to find any signs of civilization, the young ninja gathered chakra to his feet and walked on the side of the tree. Jumping from branch to branch, Naruto quickly and efficiently used the bare minimum of energy to find a way out. Living in the woods as a child allowed him to notice the way the forest grew; it was very dense where he was, as the branches were only a few feet apart, which any genin can easily reach without chakra.
Due to the dense forest structure, it meant Naruto was at the heart of the wildness, so moving in one direction would be key to escaping quickly and without burning through any of his supplies just yet. Increasing the pace of his speed, Naruto now started to make the use of his hands to grab any branches he missed from his step or to help his momentum.
"Ah, I see light!" he cried out as the dense vegetation and trees were slowly gaining more distance from each other, allowing more sunlight to shine through. It was starting to get harder for him to jump to branches as the distance was closer to yards. Not willing to risk any damage, the blond slowly jumped from tree to tree to eventually reach the ground.
Within an hour of jumping then another in walking he made it out, looking triumphantly to see it was still early in the morning. "Alright, time to… sugoi…" he said as he saw what lay before him, it was plains that weren't remotely close to any landscapes he or Jiraiya seen in their training trip. The plains were filled with luscious green grass that never seen humans, small monuments of ruins that add beauty to the land. "Alright time to find any people…" Taking out a set of binoculars, he took a short look to see nothing in the distance. "Better circle around."
Resuming into a slow stroll, Naruto carefully looked for any trace of buildings or people in the distance. As time passed, the young man made a quarter way around the forest when he saw a small figure at the end of his viewing aid tool.
"Looks like some buildings. Maybe it's a small village?" Naruto noted. It looked like a single day's walk, which can at least allow him to still be close to the forest for more food. Taking a full sprint towards the location, Naruto began taking note of the land. The closer he got to his destination, the more he was convinced that it was not a major or even a minor village, since he would've seen some sort of field or some kind of shinobi tower.
The sun was beginning to set by the time Naruto reached the location. Much to his disappointment, the puny village was long abandoned, with the house he spotted being one of the few that didn't look like a single breeze would knock it down.
"Better than nothing," he sighed, before he cautiously entered his new base. After taking a minute to search for supplies, traps, and potential safety hazards, he found a map. Taking it with a smile, he placed it on an old table in the living room, trying to figure out where he was.
The map showed a large forest section near the bottom of the location, and he quickly deduced that's where he was.
Only problem was the language.
The language was nothing he had ever seen before, and yet, somehow, he could understand it. The symbols were easily identifiable almost like Kanji back home. Apparently, the forest nearby was called "The Forest of the Emerald Knights", and this little place was called "The Outpost."
Something on the map caught his eye. It was a village named "Village of Shems", which was about the same distance as this outpost was from the forest. After resting here for the night, he would be able to make it there in the morning, where he could get some proper food, some information, and a decent place to rest.
But for now, though, it was back to his mushroom soup.
This time, he also cooked one of those strange, glowing mushrooms on a stick. It smelled pretty good, so he was hoping for the best.
"Kage Bunshin…" Naruto lazily said as another clone sighed while eating the cooked mushroom… before nodding in slight approval. "Good?"
"Yes…"
*POOF!*
Naruto caught the mushroom stick as the clone disappeared, before he took a bite off of it.
"I guess this is okay…" he shrugged to himself; at least it didn't taste like death. "Really wish I listened to Ayame-neechan on cooking," he pouted, before he became slightly saddened. He was supposed to be on his way back home by now, greeting his friends and ordering a bowl of ramen, instead of being stuck in a strange place with no answers.
He shook that depressing thought out of his head, before roughly biting into the odd mushroom. Naruto quickly finished his soup, before laying down to rest.
He laid still as he pretended to not notice a woman outside the building, who was evidently spying on him. He heard her say, "Ohh, it seems like a rare breed of magic. Well done,"
She then vanished away, making him relax. After realizing that she wasn't coming back, he let himself fall asleep.
…
Morning came a bit faster than he thought, and Naruto rushed out of the outpost to head for the village, where after sometime, he saw small buildings that reminded him of the Land of Waves mission.
"I wonder how that old fart is doing," Naruto mused to himself, remembering that bridge builder that he and his squad were protecting. Sure, he was a cranky old man when he first met him, but underneath was a man who wanted what was best for his village, and building that bridge was the only way to do t
Slowing down his pace, Naruto saw the people looking at his arrival.
These people looked...odd.
They looked like they were from another land compared to his nation. Not only were the clothes different (and not to mention a lot less well made), but compared to his nation, which had an interesting diversity of colored hair, these people seemed to only have brown or black hair.
"Uh...hello. I am Naruto, a traveler. I am looking for…'a place to spread my seeds?'" he said with a small blush on his face. That was one of the many embarrassing phrases that Jiraiya taught him. He had a spy in nearly every brothel in the Elemental Nations, and in services like escorts and even hookers.
...Yeah, the first thing he was going to do is slam a fist into Ero-Sennin's face.
Everyone kept staring at the odd boy, his nervousness growing higher with each moment.
"Wait, where did you come from?"
The villagers all turned to see a beautiful, blonde woman walking towards Naruto. The male blond blinked at how different she was in comparison to the rest of the villagers. Her body limbs were more thinner compare to the males and even woman, but her body-
"Sorry, did you not hear me?" she asked as Naruto took a closer look at the woman. She wore a light green shoulder cape with a white blouse that did nothing to hide her curvaceous breasts, and had a tight waist thanks to a brown corset that went under a short, green skirt that partially concealed a pair of white leggings.
"Uh, literally straight from that direction." Naruto said pointing at the forest he came from, as the villagers talked in surprise at that answer.
The woman looked just as surprised at the news as well. "You entered the Forbidden Lands? And came back unscathed?"
"Uh… more like I found myself waking up in it. I… don't know why, though."
"Waking up?" Taking a moment to think about it, she nodded to herself as she spoke next. "Everyone, we're allowing this child to stay. Young man, please come with me for now." She gently told Naruto, who nodded at the lady's stern and curt manner.
"Yes ma'am!" he quickly replied, following the woman to a nearby large home. Walking in, he saw another woman that made him blush on her exotic beauty.
"Oh Anna, you… oh my, who is this cutie?" Naruto blushed at the woman smiling at him, taking a better look at her as well. She was a dark-skinned elven woman with long, black hair that was curled and rested on her right shoulder. She was wearing a purple halter top that exposed the sides of her breasts, while wearing purple arm warmers and a purple skirt with black shoes.
The blonde woman lifted her hand to Naruto. "He is a lost traveler who woke up in the Forbidden Lands and came out unscathed. Grace, this is Naruto, Naruto, this is Grace, who runs the village inn and is the best chef in town," she introduced warmly as Anna placed her hands on her cheeks, and swerved back and forth on the compliments.
"Ara ara~! Annie is calling me such sweet things~!" Grace said, airily happy at the compliments she was given. "A… ra? Forbidden Lands?!" She jumped over the counter that separated the trio as she looked at Naruto closely. "I don't see any damage or lingering magics."
"That's what baffled me as well. As I said, he came out of the Forbidden Lands unscathed. There are no injuries on him or any sign of magic that latched onto him whatsoever." Anna declared. "I doubt he is the same as The Spider."
"How intriguing," Grace mused in interest. "Young boy, is it true… oh! Look at his ears, he's Shem!"
Anna sighed as she nodded. "Of course he is,"
"Wait, what's a Shem?" Naruto interrupted, but this time, the girls looked really shocked.
Anna spoke again, but this time a bit faster. "You understand this?" she asked as Grace watched Naruto as he nodded. "That what we said as well?" Naruto nodded again.
"Even me?" Grace also spoke as Naruto looked a bit annoyed.
"Look I am not as smart as Sakura or Shikamaru, but I can least understand speaking given the conversations we just had." He said as the girls now took a step back, "What? What did I say?" He asked worried if he might have spooked them.
"You spoke… Elven just now. Rather fluently, actually." Anna frowned when she noticed the look on the blond's face."You know what the Elven race is… do you not?"
"Er… that would be you two, right?" Naruto asked. "Pointed ears and all that?" Elves were in an old manga that he once read in the local stores when he was under a disguise. Youthful looking people who were pointed ears, and were typically good with bows… that was basically all he knew. "But… uhh…" Looking at Grace who looked at herself. "I thought they were only… well-"
Anna raised her hand. "Understandable but keep comments like that to yourself. Not many Dark Elves would like to be suggested with that rude question," she said, grabbing a chair nearby. "Okay, I'll try to be brief. I am a full blooded Elf, and Grace is a full blooded Dark Elf. We grew up together since we were children." Sharing a kind look with a woman she considered her sister, the blonde elf went on. "Elves are a race that are natural attuned to magic."
"Magic…" Naruto said, a bit skeptical at the word, and Anna's hand soon glowed a bright light. He felt no chakra from her or the light, which made him pause. "Okay, you weren't lying." Then saw them part their hair to show their pointed ears, which he thought was kind of cute in his opinion.
"The original language of the Elves was lost, with only a few phrases and words still being used… but apparently you can understand this," she said as Naruto raised his eyebrows. She suddenly sounded much… clearer? "I just spoke in Elvish, something that only most elves or people who've studied the language for decades can do. Yet, you were speaking it easily."
Naruto thought about this for a minute, before he shook his head. This was making his brain hurt, and this wasn't important enough to stress about. Either way, these two seemed okay in his book.
"Right, so anyways, I woke up from deep inside the forest. I woke up in some ruins-"
"RUINS?!" they both shouted as they leaned in closer, making Naruto blush as his eyes accidentally stares a couple seconds too long at the top of their breasts, which was just as big as Tsunades-
"Uh...ladies? Can you two please back up ju~st a bit?" he asked, and they did so with a giggle. "So, I guess that's a really important area?"
"That place is the Forbidden Lands of the Emerald Knights, and the home of the Goddess of the Hunt," Grace said softly, smiling bitterly. "The last remaining place of our kingdom was thousands of years ago when we lost many of our powers. That place you mentioned you were in can only be entered through either of these three ways: summoned by a great lord or lady, be recognized as a Champion of the Elves, or be allowed to by the master of the Lands."
Naruto's eyes widened at that as Anna took it from there. "The fact that you came out by yourself intact means that you are strong, and that you were chosen by the lands to be our protectors. As a daughter of my ancestors, it is my duty to allow you to stay in our humble village." She then lowered her head in deep respect. "Sir Naruto."
"Er… are you sure I won't be imposing?" Naruto asked them, embarrassed at this much respect out of nowhere.
Grace giggled. "Oh, pish posh, you better let her do it. Otherwise, she'll feel bad, and besides, it's not too much of a problem. If you want, I can let you stay here in the Inn with me."
She pointed at the staircase, which led to the rooms upstairs.
"If you still feel too imposing, you could help us with some chores. I mean, we do need help with food supplies, since we just lost our usual trader from Orzammar, so my dishes lack those Deep Mushroom flavors that everybody loves," she sighed worriedly as Anna patted her back.
The more collective woman of the two spoke up. "Yeah, they usually look like this," she said, forming a curved figure with her hands, which looked like a womanly figure. "Tastes horrible raw, and it has a blue glowing tip on the top. But Grace here discovered a recipe that makes them more delicious than any meat dish. But the only places to get there are in caves or dark, moist areas. "
Naruto's eyes became wide as he took out one of his traveling scrolls where he placed the supplies in, "You mean these?" He said unleashing the scroll, and in the process scared the women near death, until the cloud faded away to show a bounty of mushrooms he had when leaving the Forest! "I found a whole bunch of these, before I came here."
Grace smiled as the stars in her eyes went wide with happiness, "I never seen so much, and with such length and girth before!"
…
…
…
"Ignoring that." Naruto blushed as Grace rubbed and tenderly touched the mushrooms as Anna coughed into her fist. "You can have them, I ate a few raw-"
Grace's eyes went serious as she dropped the fungus from her hands when hearing Naruto's words, "How many?" She demanded as any childishness left her features.
"Uh… not a lot."
"A number now!" Was all she said as Anna flinched at the tone.
"Okay 5!"
Grace quickly touched his forehead with her hand before using her other to check hers, "No fever… nor any bloodshot eyes." She numbered as she sighed, "Those things are very toxic, they usually cause one stomach issue, then bleeding the stomach, lastly madness followed by death." The dark skin woman explained as the young man gulped at the close call he had. "Usual 6 or 8 is the number for deaths."
Anna nodded before pouring some water into a cup, "The fact that you managed to eat five and still live or any of the usual side effects, is a miracle in and of itself. But most warriors and rogues have a good dexterity or strength to sometimes go past that number."
"Rouges?" Naruto echoed as the girls looked at each other.
"…Are we sure that summoning a Champion is out of the equation?" Grace weakly smiled as Naruto pouted.
What? He was still new to this country.
It's been a full month since he arrived in this country, Naruto shirtless as he works a hoe over a field, grunting with every time he thrusted his tool down into the fertile ground, "AH~! AH~! HARDER~!" Grace moaned out as spittle came out of her mouth.
"Mmh I know~!" Naruto panted as the sun burning his back made it much hotter as it was out in the open and at the height of the day given the brightness. "It's not easy… it's my first time actually doing this…" He gasped, wiping sweat from his brow, as he resumed his work tending to the needs of the woman.
"Keep going! Don't you dare stop!"
"I~ HA~! AM~!" The young man said slowly, losing the energy he needed since he started, "Can't we just use the thing with my hands? It's getting hard for me to get this up." He complained, "I don't mind doing the plowing, but I can make it faster with my fingers."
"NO!" Grace's voice was so clear that you can clearly see her making the bottom lip tremble from her begging. "I need this, I NEE~D THIS~!"
"No… I can help."
Naruto turned to Anna who was now wearing lighter and skimpier clothing than she usually does, it was her clothing for the work they often do alone. "I can help you get it up Naruto or tend to Grace, I know how she is and can make her knock out after I get my hands on her." She offered as Grace squeaked at the offer. "She always turns into putty in my hands."
…
…
…
"Ok." Naruto sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, as the scene was now clear… Naruto was shirtless like it was stated earlier. But with leather pants, and his Konoha Headband around his neck to prevent as much sweat from staining. He had a hoe in his hands, and for the last few hours since dawn been trying to dig a hole for a new water well for the village he had grown to love.
While a clone was massaging Grace who was complaining with back pain when the work last night getting the villagers drinks caused her to carry more than usual. While Anna came by to also help as she is the mayor and felt that Naruto should have some help. Even after running back to the Forest to get as much Deep Mushrooms for Grace cooking and even some medical plants for Anna to use for old fashioned salves. "Naruto… you have done so much despite not being able to contact your home wherever it may be." Anna said praising and apologizing for the young man she allowed to live in her home.
After the day he was allowed to stay in Grace's home, Naruto asked anyone if they knew the Elemental Nations or even Jiraiya. No one ever heard of such a place, nor his teacher, so at the moment he took up odd jobs in the village to make some money so he can head to the nearest city that can steer him to the right direction. Even as he earned enough they ask if he can stay as there was an ongoing war and the village is just barely small enough and far away from the forces to not be involved. Anna said to her friends in the city that the army is planning to make an offensive attack to regain some footholds in this war, so a better passageway for Naruto to get and less likely trouble for him to get into when reaching the city.
"Hey, it's the least I can do." Naruto started to continue his work as Anna also helped in his work. "You don't have to pay me back for anything." He said as the young man smiled, "I like to work for my money, it's the least I can do since I don't pay for the room-"
"Kyaa~ Right there~"
The two blushed when Grace let out a sexy moan when his clone popped a particular pain in her back, "I still am fascinated on how you can use such a skill without Magic." Anna said watching the clone at work with a red blush on its face as well. "It retains your personality while still in service to you."
The young man sighed as he felt a bit useless in terms of farm work at first when offering his assistance. The men in this village treated him as a kid despite him easily bested them in combat, either you bed your first woman or become eighteen is the only two ways to become a man in their eyes.
So Naruto in turned started to help with farming, slightly difficulty and unused to this kind of work took some slight adjustment, but he was able to till the land far faster and longer than most of the men… before he also started to use his Shadow Clones as a way to help Grace at her Inn while he also worked at night practicing. Only for Anna to realize his ability when she came out and found him just about to take the place of the clone.
While not unheard of that a clone can be used with Magical Energy, she apparently never heard of one using a real Solid clone. Thus he was able to do so much work and without getting tired, the men all stop ripping on Naruto's age and lack of a sex.
...So totally worth it~
"Wanna know the irony of it?" Naruto asked. "The skill I'm doing now was actually the one thing I actually sucked at."
"What? Hard work?" Anna said, seemingly finding that hard to believe in.
"No, the clones I produce." Naruto deadpanned. "Back then, I couldn't make a proper one and all of them turned out to be duds."
Grace after the clone finally pops the kinks off her back and smiles in bliss, "Well it makes sense, not all can be used for one thing. I mean Anna can't do a single Nature magical spell and her bloodline excels in that area, but she can lead a village more than most humans can't." She giggled as Anna blushed on her small disadvantage. Naruto remembers that Anna did marry the former mayor mostly due to her and Grace being treated like they were monsters at first when arriving from another village. When he passed she took charge and led in his place, while hard the woman took the occupation like a fish to water. Now the villagers all look up to her like a hero and Grace was able to also help by getting rooms and food for low cost to the villagers, especially the ones who have bad times who all see her as goddess of kindness.
"Did you really have to point that out?" Anna pouted, a rare time that Naruto saw as he cracked a smile at the sight. Anna was usually strict and needed to keep a strong front but with Grace and the resident Shinobi, it usually falls short after a bit.
"I'm just merely stating the truth." Grace shrugged her shoulders, as if it was something very trivial. "I mean I can't cast Dark or Illusion Magic, but I am pretty handy with a bow."
"Pfft~" Naruto snorted at the thought of a battle hardened Grace...only to be replaced by a chibi version of one accidentally hitting her face when the bow snapped in two. "Sure you are…"
"It's true! I am!" Grace huffed with puffed cheeks. "I'll prove it to you!"
"Grace, no." Anna said with a hushed tone, "Remember we don't show our skills, some of the men still think you're with Olga. Don't give them any reason to think more than they already believe." She recalled as Grace sighed in defeat while nodding in agreement on that subject.
"Olga?" Naruto said as much as he was used to life as a villager in this area, he didn't know anything about the land he was in… or even it was still connected to the Elemental Nations at all! All he heard from the men, who still tried not to make Naruto worry despite him handling himself better than them, was a big war outside their village. That a witch was causing trouble for human's leading a demon army to attack while the Church and their Goddess were fighting back.
"Uh… she's um…" Grace slightly panicked, "How should I say this? She's uh… someone you don't want to mess with."
Anna nodded before sighing, "Yes, I pray to the Goddess of Mythal that we are safe and sound from this horrible battle." She said placing her hands between the valley of her ample breasts. "And that the God Dirthamen keeps our village a secret from her."
"...What?" Naruto said as he just took a moment to realize she slipped into her Elven tongue, throughout the time he was heard. Naruto learned when they spoke into their native language it was like he can… well understand better. It felt like whenever someone talked to him 'normally' there's a small muffling sound or something, but when the girls spoke in Elvish it's clear as water. Not much of a difference due to his occupation as a Ninja as the requirements is to have good hearing and body at least able to do most Shinobi tasks. Obviously certain people like Rock Lee or even some veterans who lost their eyesight or became mute were still on active duty. So this much Naruto can do but still notice.
"Our race before our fall from where we once were, had a religion to our most powerful gods. Even some said they were kings granted Godhoods for their amazing and kind actions for their race." Grace started as Anna rolled her eyes.
"I hear a 'but' coming…" Naruto frowned, crossing his arms as he listened intently.
The mayor lifted her hand, "That's the Dark Elves version of the tale, we High Elf's believe that they were already God's and helped Respected Elders into Kings granted them the god's names as their proxies." She said as Grace also nodded to their words.
"Right… So where exactly did this all go wrong?" Naruto scratched his head in confusion.
The women looked at each other and spoke, "Humanity." They said in perfect unison slightly ashamed of their answer. "The High-King of our Race was said to grant humanity intelligence, they squander it and cause the downfall of all the races ability to use magic." Grace started gesturing her hand and unlike Anna can barely produce a small flame. "As you guess, not many of the villagers are magical incline come par to us, and even then my own lack of magic is laughable compared to most of my race."
The blonde elf gave a look of repermade towards her dark skin counterpart, "Not due to a lack of trying, you don't have a teacher. I was lucky that my mother was a healer and I could get a good amount of training to learn the basics." Anna said as Grace waved it off.
"But yes, human's did a Taboo that caused the Elves to fall from their power, the dwarves losing most of their kingdom, and many other events like the ancient forest you were, the Forbidden Lands as we call them." Grace finished looking towards where Naruto woke up. "The Land where the Goddess of the hunt, Anduril once trained her Knights."
"Okay, I think I got the gist of it." Naruto nodded in understanding. "But why are they so Forbidden-"
"ANNA!" The three looked towards a elderly man running towards them, fear spread across his face. "Anna! There- WE can't- we're all going to die!" He shouted frantically unable to give a full answer until he spat out.
"George snapped of it, what is the matter?" Anna grabbed his shoulders to calm him, "Why are you so scared?" The blonde elf said as another person came up, a young girl with brunette hair. "Fion, please tell me what is the problem?"
The young woman took a moment to catch her breath, "Me and grandfather were collecting fish and saw… saw Skeleton's heading to our village!"
"Skeletons?" Anna whispered before dread upon realizing what it meant, "No, Olga is going to attack our village to prevent the defensive attacks that Lady Celestine is planning!"
"Skeletons… like walking bones?" Naruto said as Grace nodded moving towards him.
Whispering softly to his ear as Anna continued to speak, "Low Level Demon summons, most likely just as low level or mid tier demons that are controlling them. But it's not even those…" Grace slightly went pale at the thought of the worst case scenarios.
"This is bad, most of the men who can fight don't have the proper attire or weapons to do it. We're just a farming and trading village." Anna bit her thumb in desperation, "...I-If we leave now we can most likely warn and get some of the army to protect us."
The youngest girl looked frightened at the thought, "But some of the elderly won't be able to keep up with us, Grandpa needs to rest for a least an hour and the way they are coming. I don't think we have much more time to leave without them catching up to." She said as Anna's face looked grim, giving the young Fion to look horrified, before flung her arms around her family. "No! I won't abandon grandfather, he saved me when my mother died and my father abandoned me!"
The old man shook his head, "No, leave me… I'm an old man its my time to go-"
"Alright, Imma head out." Naruto declared walking towards Grace Inn, "I'll grab my stuff and take them out. Just in case I'll leave a clone that will be watching my head and will send a smoke signal in case I can't win." He said in a deadpan voice, ignoring the dramatic lines they would use. "Seriously, does every little village have the same script at the end times are coming? At least Inari was able to pick up his shit before my team kickass… after Sasuke and I nearly died."
"Naruto, no! This isn't some boar or giant spider, this is a real army leading towards us." Grace said, pointing to the directions where they most likely are coming from. "If an army is having trouble with them, I don't think you can-"
"So? I've been through worse." Naruto looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Ok raise your hands if you ever faced a man who killed his entire classroom of fellow students," Naruto was the only one who lifted his hands, "Then faced off a child killer who easily murdered people as breathing?" ...Still Naruto… "And lastly has anyone faced a giant Tanuki beast made of sand the size of a small mountain, and/or was stabbed in the chest with a lightning charged fist? Anyone? Seriously don't be shy." He chuckled as the wide eyes made him think… it might have been best to keep some of it away. "Okay then, I'm going. And I don't want any complaints." He said, before turning on his heels, leaving to walk off.
A hand grabbed his own, looking towards Anna who was the person who held him in place. "...Can you promise to come back in one piece?" She asked softly, with pleading eyes, "Please, say it even if it isn't true. I can't bear to send you out without some kind of assurance." She pleaded with eyes growing red from the possible outcomes that can happen to this young man, a child in her eyes being sent to his death.
"Promise!" Naruto chirped happily, "Anna it's literally walking bones, I once got eaten by a snake, blew up the snake with clones and stopped another snake from eating my friend with two kunai. I doubt a few sets of walking bones would stop me." He said confident before giving her something that shocked the two elves, he gave her his headband. "Here, that's my village headband. I'll skip the long story, but it's my symbol and something you can hold so I can get it back… it's a bitch to pay for a new one and I won't be the first one of the Genin to get a new one." Knowing it's a funny disgrace to get a new headband especially when you just got it, even after a few years when getting enlisted.
Anna didn't say anything as she clasped the item in her hand. "Very well. I trust you." With that said, he rushed to the Inn as Grace looked at her. "I know… we should be prepared like he said."
"No, I just hope it's not my worst case of thinking. I can see a few Skeletons being no match for Naruto… but if it was something like…" The dark elf woman shook her head, "I'll get the money from the safe, that way we can help the other villagers with food when getting into the city." She said as Anna nodded getting ready to set the others to leave

NARUTO LOCATION, OUTPOST
XXXXXXXXXXXXX
The young man sighed as he learned that the forest was going to be where they would have to circle around. Even the demons wouldn't go straight through it and gave Naruto some time to prepare, "Alright," Naruto took out his more powerful arsenal of weapons. 100 kunai, or at least 20 he has at the moment at the table, failed attempts of explosive seals which can be used for less powerful but easily ready to detonate from the smallest spark or heat. Loads of Shurikens and flash bombs. This was more than enough for an army of walking gutless bastards… heh… gutless… cause they don't have time.
"Focus!" Naruto shouted to himself slapping his cheeks to amp himself up, "Ero-sennin, always told me not to go in halfcock like always." He said taking a moment to steel himself, if he took things more seriously Sasuke wouldn't have gotten so messed up by Haku in the Land of Waves mission or get hurt against Aoi. Placing a lead on his forehead he took a moment to focus a single point of chakra to keep on it, "Alright…" Allowing it to fall as he felt loud rattling near by the post, most likely half way between the Forest and outpost he was in. "
Looking from the edge of the wall, he saw a bunch of white clad skeletons carrying broken or damaged weapons. Save for one that caused him some slight concern but it was nothing too strange...given it's something that shouldn't be possible already."
"There you are…" He muttered to himself. "Okay, plan of attack. How should I do this?" He pondered to himself as he considered his options. Considering they are just mostly bones, ignoring any magical...things that would be a factor, Naruto believed in taking out their stride. "You don't need your kneecaps to live, although for their case it's not too much of a problem." Wrapping the kunai's in some of the failed Explosive Tags, he got ten ready.
"LET'S GO!" Naruto shouted, rushing out of the outpost as he three explosive kunais in each hand. When they took notice Naruto jumped towards the air with his chakra greatly helping his distance as he flung his first set of kunai that didn't have any of the skeletons but the ground, before sending the last three in the front, middle and back of the group. As each one hit the intended target Naruto was flung back as the explosive blast caused him to fly.
Tucking his legs in, he was able to spin back to land on his feet safely. When getting his bearings together, the Uzumaki smiled as nothing but… "Ok maybe some have been drinking their milk." He said when one survived as Naruto saw only a purple mantle covering its body, as it lowered it down Naruto saw it was another Skeleton. This one is wearing royal clothing and blue orbs staring at Naruto.
"That must be the boss." Naruto mused to himself. "Perfect. If I take it out, then the rest will fall."
A sickening crack was heard as the monster jaw opened, "Halt child," the monster said as Naruto took a step back at the sight of a talking skeleton.
"...Well, that's new." Naruto almost went slack-jawed.
"You shall step aside, no other has taken as many of my servants as easily as you did. For that honor, you shall be spared… for now. As my glorious leader Mas- Mistress Olga, the Queen of Dark Elves shall take over the lands of Eostia!" The talking Royal skeleton declared brandish his arms out with dramatic flare as its bone hands stretched out like it was going to take a hold of the world for its master.
"See, now that's a bit of a problem." Naruto said. "I may not have been here long, but from my understanding, your kind have been harassing those villagers for far too long. And that doesn't sit well with me. So uh… I'm gonna need you to die…"
"Child of man, do you wish to die!? I am the Wight King, something that scares even the strongest of men. You cannot hope to best me!" It roared its claim as Naruto rolled his eyes.
"You and what army? Said Army I just blasted to bits?" He taunted as the Wight King merely snapped its fingers.
"Skeleton Knights!" It shouted as the bones of its fallen king slowly rattled before quickly reassembling to create six, four-armed skeletons with each weapon from destroyed forms. "Now...step aside, or be laid to waste and join my undead forces…" It was the last time Naruto lifted his hands into a familiar handsign.
"How about, go to hell!" He shouted and added a load of chakra into this jutsu, "Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"
*POOOOOOF!*
Behind Naruto was about fifty more of his clones, as the Wight King's glowing eyes shine menacingly at the human army, "You're not the only one who can make more allies…" Naruto smirked as the undead monster lifted his hands.
"Attack!" He shouted as the multi-armed monsters changed in as Naruto and his clones rushed towards them. "Surround the first child, his spell shall end if he dies first!"
The clones soon swarmed the undead knights as they easily met them head on, easily dispelling dozens of the clones with their multiple swords. While the original and a few of the free clones that were able to accompany him were heading straight for the royalty looking skeleton. "Peons! Lightning Bolt!" it shouted, opening its bony jaw to create a streak of electricity towards the clones!
"Crap!" Naruto cringed as the clones moved out of the way but the royal skeleton moved its head, sweeping across the air and getting rid of the clones, each disappearing in a cloud of smoke. "What kind of skeleton is this guy?" Naruto asked as he leaped towards the being, once again about to cast the spell.
"Lightning B- Gah!" It shouted when Naruto brought down a kunai towards its shoulder, causing it to stop its words short. Floating away from the young man, the being tried again only for Naruto to shorten the distance between them with his incredible speed and quick actions.
"Not so much as a threat when you don't have enough time to cast that fancy magic huh?" He taunted as once more he damaged the being's, this time tearing the arm of the monster as it screamed in pain. "And not so tough without your little skeleton buddies either."
""Fog Field!" The Wight King cried when Naruto stabbed his chest, only for the puncture wound and its sleeves to produce a massive gust of cold fog.
"Gh…" Naruto gritted as he jumped back and landed safely as the fog set in. "Great, it's Zabuza and Haku all over again… at least this time I actually got a handle with sneaky fighting." Placing a hand to the ground, and sending chakra he felt the knights coming back to where they were while his clones were confused and scrambling around. "Crap, his friends aren't affected!"
Taking out the last flawed explosive kunais, he threw one of them into the ground. "Over here!" He shouted as the rumbling told him that his clones were coming and soon the shouting of fighting resumed with the knights. "Nice try to bring your friends to help."
"The spell was not for them, but for this, Hell Flames!" The Wight King said as Naruto noticed a glowing orange light from a distance not too far from him.
"Wait what?!" Was all he said as the fire engulfed him when it made contact with the body.
"Unfortunate but now I can add another strong body into my army of the undead. My lord- what?" It said in shock when the boy stood unharmed with a smirk as a large fire started from behind him, slowly making the Wight King's fog fade away. "H-How did you survive? Not even Olga or Celestine could survive a colliding force of power like Hell Flames?"
True to his words the King took notice of a burning log that was burning where the boy was supposed to be. "A log?"
"I have to admit, it's very powerful. So much that it might put Sasuke's Fire-Style Jutsu to shame. But, you made one big mistake."
"And pray tell, what would that be?"
"Never underestimate the most useful technique in a shinobi's arsenal, Kawarimi no Jutsu!" He said gladly that Jraiya drilled the fundamentals of his School training back into his head. "Now, take a page from Zabuza…" Naruto threw a kunai into the air as he caught in his mouth. "Let's see if you can feel fear?" As the flames grew bigger the King suddenly lost his sights on Naruto as it looked around in search of him.
Then as if sensing something, it turned around and there Naruto was suddenly rushing towards him along with a clone that spun his hands randomly, but a ball of chakra was forming and it got larger until it was the size of a softball.
"Take this! RASENGAN!"
"No! Frost-!" Although his spell was able to be cast in time, the powerful jutsu soon blew over the magic as it struck at the monster chest, tearing its regal attire to shreds! "Gahhhhhh!" The Wight King screams practically part the fog away as it was only Naruto and his few clones standing among the defeated undead soldiers, Naruto smiled… although it vanished as the King's bony fingers quickly grabbed his neck. Squeezing with the force that no skeleton should be able to possess, ""How… dare you!? How dare you harm me with such petty tricks!"
Naruto was then lifted off the ground with ease as the clones were forced once more to do battle with now reanimated knights who resemble themselves. 'What's driving him? See this far to fight?!' Naruto questioned as the monster continued to speak.
"I was brought back from death by my glorious ruler! I served the one who devoured the gods themselves! I will not let myself be defeated by a mere child!" It shouted in raw anger unable to keep its once calm and collected tone any longer for the disgraced it had suffered. "I shall feel your bones crushed into dust by my own bare hands! Now die… Champion!"
As Naruto slowly started to lose consciousness, his mind flashed back to his friends back home...Anna and Grace waiting for him.
"Can you promise to come back in one piece?"
That promise made the teen grit his teeth before pulling out one more explosive kunai he had left!
"Sorry, but I can't afford to die…" Naruto said slowly raising the weapon above the monster, despite not having a face Naruto could clearly tell it felt fear for each moment passed when Naruto was still moving . "Because… I have a promise to keep!"
"It doesn't make sense, how can a lowly human still move?!" When the highest reached its zenith, the Wight King screamed out its last words. "TELL ME HOWWWW!?"
"Go! To! HELL!" Naruto shouted as he stabbed the tag wrapped kunai into its Emory empty eye socket.
…
...
BOOOOOOOOOM!
As both Naruto and the king flew in the same direction, he took notice of the other skeletons turning into ash as they landed hard on the ground. He lifted his head to see the King still able to stand up… taking its time as it looked down at Naruto. Who in his stupid decision to do a risky move was trying to shrug off the pain as quickly as he could...but it was quick enough as the king stood in front of him, "Di- ah...ahhh…"
Naruto looked in shock as from his sight from below saw a golden glowing arrow sticking through its head, "Haa… I'm… Please forgive me… My Lord M-" Was its last words when the body finally started to crumble away into dust.
"What…?" Naruto uttered in bewilderment. "Where did that…"
Almost like he was answered by some divine gesture he turned upwards where the forest was, on the high branch from the tallest trees that rounded the dense location was a girl. Clad in golden armor that nearly covered her features and body, she looked like some kind of regal warrior queen. Perhaps holding a shining bow in her arms, her gaze towards him from the slight turning of her head. Naruto could swear that the young girl gave him an approving nod before leaping back inside the forest.
"Hey wait!" Naruto called out, but to no avail as the mysterious woman was already gone. "Who… was that?" But unable to go after her wasn't a concern given she saved his life, he instead stood up. And walk towards the village with a smile on his steps.
"I don't like this." Anna said as she had the villagers all ready to move but no sight of the smoke signal was appearing from the distance where the clone said it would make for them to start leaving. As much as she wanted to believe the young man would keep his promise to her but at the same time didn't want to jeopardize the others on a slim hope.
Grace nodded as she shifted the weight of her bag that contained the money for the villagers to get some supplies when entering the city. "I know, but maybe-" She stops in mid speech before pointing forward with a large smile. Anna turned to where she was pointing and quickly gained a large smile herself, when watching Naruto walking towards them with slight burns around his clothing but perfectly fine from the battle.
The two rushed to him as they looked over him, "Naruto, what happened? Did you beat the monsters?" Anna asked fussing over the younger man's body as he nodded.
"Yeah, it was a bit tough but I was able to beat that Skeleton prick." The shinobi chuckled as he tried to stop their nitpicking over his clothing tears. "The damage was mostly mine, I kinda went a bit Hyperactive and dis something stupid."
Grace sighed in relief, "Thank the Goddess of Hunt that you were safe and sound." She prays softly as Naruto eyes widen, the Goddess of the Hunt. Could it...no way it was possible.
However the blonde elf leader gave a quizzical look to the young man, "I'm sorry you said Skeleton? Was it just the one?"
"No," Naruto started as he retold them of the battle watching their and the villagers' reactions. "And after the explosion, he died turning to dust." He finished leaving out the fact that help he received not knowing how it would be taken from them. Slightly nervous by the silent and slack jaw looks the first one to speak was Grace.
"You defeated one of Olga's Generals, Wight King the Undead King." She said with an astonished look. "He might've been the weakest but he was still able to beat many of the Shield Maiden's if he had the right conditions. But you alone, that must be something straight from one of the stories from elven lore."
Naruto looked slightly shocked at the declaration, "Really? I mean he wasn't that tough." He honestly said as the magic was something to be careful but besides the little knights it had, it wasn't too much of a hassle.
"No she is right, the ability that it has to add more undead into its ranks for each kill it takes is frightening." Anna explained the truth of the power of the Wight King, "It must have let most of its army stay at Olga's castle, while it led a small force to covertly attack the army."
Naruto now understood why it was a bit easy to win as it wasn't the true full might of the monster powers. Once again his luck gave him an edge over the monster normally powerful traits. "Well you guys will be fine for the time being." He said looking to where the Forest was, "And I think you got something watching over you all as well."
The girls didn't know the real meaning behind his words as Grace went to her bag and pulled out a sizable sum of golden, silver and copper coins. "Naruto, here." She said, passing him the coins to his hands. "That should be more than enough with the amount you also earn around here, to finally get to the closest Kingdom to hopefully get what you need."
Naruto was about to give back the money, until Anna also passed him a little object that has a symbol of an arrow in some sort of contraption, "My husband, the previous mayor, had a friend there who would help you. Just say 'Pay back the blondie's and the debt you owe is gone.'"
Naruto looked at it before seeing the villagers all smiling and nodding at him to take it, "I really hope we can see each other again." He said with a sad smile, as he bowed kindly. He immediately left before looking at them, knowing if they said something it would have been a lot harder for him to move on without feeling pain in his heart.
As the villagers and the elves watch him leave, Grace spoke out at a long silence, "Naruto, I hope he will find what he is looking for." The dark elf hoped as her friend nodded, leading the rest to their homes knowing they will be safe for the moment.
