Well, well, well, whatever I'm doing around here, why haven't I uploaded my other story in a month and why in the hek am I speaking in English (this one is simple, I just speak both languages).
The story begins like, right when I finished chapter 4 of the Fate/oath of justice where I thought, "hmm I haven't been reading much these days, maybe I'll find something".
And so, I found 'Relic of the Future', a story I had already read, but kind of forgot and said went like, "I recognize this, but don't remember it, let's read it".
And if you could fall for words I would have done so immediately. The story is just one of the best I've read in a while, and the premise was a cool one, who doesn't like time travel.
And so, I thought, "maybe someone has made something like extra omakes, or maybe a react, anything", you know, for the fun of it, and I did find one, but it was only 8 chapters long and it didn't seem to be active.
And so, I decided to continue the work of said valiant writer, but yk, trying to at least go further.
The creator of Relic of the future is Coeur Al'Aran, all credits of the Story go to him, I'm just building from there.
Also, if said creator doesn't like what I'm doing here (however they find out about this), all they need is to say they want this gone in a review or something, and this thing will disappear, I won't go against the actual author if he doesn't like this.
And yeah, this is kind of the reason I haven't been working on the other story, and the ones I have over on Wattpad too.
POST EDITION()-
So I've changed some things, improved others and move some sht around, hope it's better.
Paradox -Mystic POV-
Time and space.
Two concepts that go hand by hand with one another and are fundamental laws of our world.
Time travel, teleportation, time stop, portal are various iterations of powers inherently connected to each of said concepts
But aside from that, there cant be much one can do against them.
Save for a few, a few who know how to manipulate to a fundamental level this for whatever purpose they desire, they can change the fundamentals to influence reality.
Most of said people with vast control of everything create stories, beautiful stories for others to enjoy and the characters to live. Others create just worlds, places were fantasy and reality are one in the same in a precious conjuncture.
Lastly we have those like yours truly, who look to teach the people of said worlds about the grandiosity of the things beyond their senses, such are things like a gran window of worlds from where they can learn to be better and allow us to see them grow.
And what is it that I seek in all of this?
What purpose would this serve?
Learning from what could be instead of what is was allows the birth of something new, something better that maybe, and just maybe…there won't be a need for a Relic from of the future.
…
Everything was in place.
Paradox is a world of his own at the command of this author, what used to be all a white void was now a universe itself, with various planets, stars and civilizations.
The most important place in Paradox was Mysium, which could be considered the core planet where everything expanded from.
One building in one of the corners of said world stood in peace, resembling an old castle form Arthurian times it had been built and accommodated with various rooms each with a destined purpose and willing to host audiences from across fiction.
Various beings were born out of the necessity of hosts for said audiences, and as such, 10 silhouettes, all of them of humanoid shape but all under knight armor were created.
All of them having been granted the power to control -.
And each having been granted a name by their creator.
In this story, we'll focus on Lancelot's viewing, which involves the look into the life of the Relic of the future.
The room selected for this group was a library, one whose bookshelves reached far out the view of the normal eye and at it center, hosted a lit fireplace with two comfortable looking chairs, one of them being occupied by the host named Lancelot.
In front of the chimney there were sofas, all planed for a good amount of people as well as for leaving space between each of them in case of necessity.
Lancelot, who had already been preparing for his guests, gave a look towards the book that laid in his lap which would be the center of this viewing…or well, reading, Lancelot likes to read more than watch things.
And so, with everything in place, the space prepared and an atmosphere and room temperature adequate for humans being sustained, we can start the show.
…
A blinding light enfolded those which were desired to come, the Vytal festival slowly came to a stop as if the motion had been completely taken out of them.
"What happened?!" there were some exceptions however.
The only ones retaining their movements, were those who would be taken.
"what the-?" one of black and red hair screamed as she was consumed by the light.
"RUB-!" another was taken too.
"AHH!" and so, more disappeared without a trace.
It didn't seem clear to those who were going to be taken what was happening, but the only thing they knew it was that they couldn't stop it.
In the end, none of those selected had been left there.
The scenery of the Amity colosseum had been replaced by the likes of a castle in an instant, the fight of team JNPR was interrupted, and all the people taken here were just starting to react after being blinded by the light.
"uh guys?" Pyrrha was the last one to be dropped and barely listened when Ruby started speaking. "where is this?"
"I believe what happened and how should be more immediate questions" Weiss however was more concerned about the how and what, since the notion of being away from Remnant was stupid in their minds and they could always return to Vale.
That was shut down shortly by the raven haired teen dressed in green, who was pointing out the window. "guys, I think you should see this"
The windows of the place simply showed long hills with a white sky, nothing that determined their location.
And a bit more of looking around showed that they weren't the only ones there. None of them had reacted yet, since Team RWBY and _NPR were the first to recover, having been the first taken.
They noticed that they were standing all together in a place that looked like a throne room, behind them, more lights appeared and suddenly the ones standing behind them awakened.
"the fuck" the voice of a man who seemed slightly drunk got them out of their own thoughts.
"what in the world?!" the general of the atlas military questioned awestruck.
Professor Goodwitch, the Branwen twins Qrow and Raven, Taiyang, Sun and Neptune along with other exchange students from Mistral named Cinder, Emerald and Mercury, Winter and Ironwood from Atlas, a kid from the countryside named Oscar, the duo of criminals Roman and Neo, Vernal from the Branwen tribe and some more appeared as a moderate lighting settled in the room.
Everyone seemed confused, no one knew where they were and who some of the people around them were, and seeing how they found themselves there, the others were suspects of this kidnapping.
Recognition from some was quick and hostilities grew intensely.
"so this is your work Branwen" it wasn't a question, but an assumption from Ironwood thinking it is some form of consequence of her semblance.
"what makes you say this was my idea dipshit" Raven didn't respond very nicely, staring to draw her weapon as a consequence.
"You're the only portal user here Raven, it had to be you" this time it was Tai who answered, he might feel pained to have this circumstance be the way he sees Raven again, but both his daughters are here so he couldn't allow himself to falter.
Tension raised before anyone could say anything else, the grip on their weapons tightening as they expected a confrontation, the sounds of blades and loading of guns were all there was.
It was all for nothing however since their host decided that it was time he made an act of presence.
A very deep and echoed voice took everyone by surprise from their standoff. "it would be better if you calmed down" It spoke in a way that demanded order made everyone stop, not being able to disobey said command. "Your presence here has been required and as such you've been brought".
With their weapons still in hand they turned to look where the voice came, the people held different reactions to the knight's presence once the weight of his voice has dissipated.
The students were curious which made them drop their guard slightly, while the adults and those that were undercover took a more sensitive approach and kept theirs up.
There, standing in the side of said throne was a knight, his black and purple armor reflected the light as he stood with an aura of strength around him.
The first thing he did was walk down a set of stairs in front of the throne before he took to another side. "Once we head towards our destination, everything will be explained, but as for now I shall introduce oneself as Lancelot, myself being the one who will accompany you through this experience" The one knows now as Lancelot tried to convince them to follow him, there were many things to say, but once again an intense feeling of compliance told them that it would be better to do as he said.
However that effect was something based on and worked against one's survival instinct, which certain people lacked a bit.
Especially Sun's impatience over the silence didn't help when controlling his mouth. "Whoa, stop there for a minute" He voiced his thoughts as he raised one hand and pointed to the night. "You brought us…here, and expect us to do what you want, sorry mate, but I don't play by those rules, I want an answer and then you are getting us out of here" The weapon in his hands readying for combat as the mecha-shift of said weapon activated, only getting a low hum from their kidnapper.
Soon others followed suit encouraged by their friend sticking out.
Ruby took the initiative to continue what the blonde started. "Yeah, you can't just take people like that and force them to do as you want" The little red reaper also made her thoughts clear, ignorant on the look of panic in the eyes of her father and uncle who were feeling the pressure heighten.
Weiss spoke too but not only she wanted to be returned but also wanted some information as a form of compensation, the trick of time stopping was something she couldn't pass up, mostly because to her the only thing possible of doing that was dust and glyphs, and she wanted to do so too.
"You owe us an explanation about what happened back in the coliseum too, everything stopped moving" They seemed to perk up more and more as the second passed, especially with the others backing them up but the knight still didn't do anything until Glynda Goodwitch intervened.
"Students that's Enough!" The teacher raised her voice, taking the attention to herself, even from the knight, who didn't seem to be paying attention until that point. "If you haven't noticed he hasn't been paying you any mind, and if you continued like this we don't know if he wouldn't have decided to attack any of you"
It annoyed some that they may not receive the answers they wanted but at the same time they knew their teacher was just worried about them, and so they listened
The criminals stayed back trying to stand down from the center of attention, not wanting to know what could happen if the others noticed them, which wasn't hard considering the 2-meter armored man in front of them.
"It is better that for now we stay calm and let us solve this" The general of the Atlas military stepped in, not wanting to waste more time and likely trying to get to the bottom of this issue without casualties.
"are you sure Sir?" Winter felt this might be a bad decision, however, she'd follow the general if it was needed.
The man nodded solemnly as a response.
Some of them were going to complain about it, being obviously alarmed by the situation, but a slight pain in the back of the head stopped everyone once again, but when it was gone it felt like the air around the room had changed.
The pressure Lancelot had been releasing now being gone, then door on the side of the room opened and Lancelot spoke once more.
"It seems like my tone and presence were a bit too much for you, I apologize for that" This time he didn't sound the same, now sounding the same as any other person would without the unbearable weight they felt when he talked before. "There is a reason for everyone's presence here, but I'm afraid the explanation would have to wait until we go about to the library since there's another group coming here soon" And without saying anything else, he left to the door without explaining or giving a real reason to do so.
He wasn't in this for complains or doubts, if they didn't listen, he would just make them do it anyways…good thing that wasn't necessary.
The people in the room stared perplexed, some were irritated, others insulted at the thought of the knight believing them stupid enough to follow and felt underestimated when he turned his back, but the more experienced reached a single conclusion.
Time passed, not much that is, until someone spoke again.
"We should follow him" Tai said, starting to walk toward his daughters where he would have a better shot at protecting them. "That man is far more dangerous than us and I don't want to know how much longer his patience can last, it doesn't seem like a good idea to anger him" Behind him came Qrow, Ironwood and Glinda, that had rounded the other people with similar explanations, all of them knowing that at the minimum, they would need that explanation and they couldn't leave.
Why couldn't they leave? Nobody actually knew, it was just something everyone agreed one out of nowhere in a very unnatural way.
Qrow couldn't help but add his own two cents. "Yeah, that and because Jimmy doesn't trust you kids alone with those around" He interjected while he pointed at the two members of the tribe and the criminals of Vale. "Not that I would have liked you to say near them either".
Yang saw Raven and recognized her immediately. She tried to get separated to confront her but was stopped.
"yang, no" it took two from Tai to stop her. "we're in a bad spot right now" she understood so much, but at the same time there was many more things she wanted to say and ask.
And when everyone got together, they passed through the door.
The first thing they saw on the other side were various couches and a fireplace all of which was surrounded by an endless looking library.
Lancelot was sitting in one of the chairs near the fire, in his hands was a book called Relic of the Future.
Lancelot raised the book with one hand, pointing it at the group. "Now that everyone is here and we have the time for it, I shall begin with an explanation" The knight started as he waved the book up and down while talking. "Once again, this one's name is Lancelot, that's how I shall be referred as, and the reason for your arrival here is concerning your future as well as remnants".
The knight raised his pointer finger from the hand he was holding the book. An unbearably fast light went across the minds of all the guests, filling the in with the knowledge of the maidens, Magic, Relics, and Salem.
"That is some knowledge all of you would learn or already knew, but for the sake of speeding this introduction I have decided to present it to you immediately" He concluded and pointed towards those with said knowledge already. "all reasonings and reasons to those who knew keep things hidden were also given to avoid that part of the explanation too"
Winter was the first one to snap out of the little trance it gave everyone. "This is…strange, it's as if this information had always been in my head even though I'm certain I hadn't known about this until know" The Atlas specialist was also the first to raise her concerns before looking at the general who was said to know this information.
Said man in exchange nodded along, confirming the information he too had received along with some things that were either out of place or not what Ozpin had said.
Some of them, who already had experienced people with capabilities like those explained were able to piece together, getting a better understanding of what happened at those times and who might be a maiden, like Roman.
Roman pieced some of the puzzle together rather fast and told Neo. "this explains the 'talent' of our boss doesn't it Neo" the master thief muttered, getting a thumbs up by their companion whose face had furrowed while looking at Cinder in her student act.
When the students asked some of those they were informed if everything was truth, they could do nothing outside of confirming.
There was a common theme of not believing what the strange kidnapper was saying, which is normal, but the confirmation from not only the general, but also from their teacher, Qrow and Tai, made it clear that it was true.
Weiss had enough of waiting at this point and tried to rush things. "alright, let's say I believe this, then please explain why are we here? And why us specifically?". the ice princess was backed up by their team and the other students, while the adults kept their opinion, which was the same, to themselves.
Lancelot expected something of the sort, already knowing how this people behaved "that is quite simple to answer, those who have been brought here hold some importance, either being for the future or for what the events in this book transpire" He then raised said book up once more. "This book contains the story of a parallel timeline connected to your own by the works of on huntsman" A snap was heard suddenly.
The space above the fireplace seemed to twist and swirl, slowly turning into what it seemed like a rectangle that floated without support revealing a holographic image of a devastated remnant, many of the locations that were vastly known, or they visited regularly were destroyed or in the process of being destroyed.
More images flashed, showing Salem's appearance and her henchmen, revealing Cinder Fall as one of them. The events to come in Amity coliseum were also Showed.
Those who knew Penny and Phyrra were saddened and even cried when their eventual fate was shown, and their sadness quickly turned into anger when the one who caused it all was shown smiling as she had finally gotten the full power of the Fall maiden.
Mouths opened to complain, Yang's eyes were blood red with some tears I them, Weiss's teeth revealed an angry expression like the blonde fighter as Ruby and Blake also had their own angry but teary looks.
_NPR felt devastated, Phyrra was frozen at the sight of her own death as well as what her last actions before were. Nora was fuming in anger, looking in Cinders direction with the intent of using Magnhild, no one dared to attack the new family she had at beacon and expected to leave unscratched while Ren, in response to the anger chose to use his semblance and nullify said feeling and trying to calm his teammates.
The other who had somewhat met her also showed some anger towards the responsible, who after having been revealed simply smiled at her accomplished goal with her lackeys, but then realized something.
Cinder was revealed very suddenly but seeing her success almost made that up since she started laughing. "Hahaha, it looks like your invincible girl was nothing worth the praise" The mockery seemed to make the rest even madder. "Although it annoys me that you reveal this, what is the purpose of this Lancelot, are you stopping my plans?" She was still pissed about that, demanding an answer as she continued to ignore the rest of the room, focusing on the knight
Her eyes would have ignited in flame at this point but they strangely refused to work.
Said knight just looked at her, not answering to her and instead choosing to switch this interaction to what he was previously saying
Lancelot for the third time repeated. "This is thy future" Almost everyone's anger grew again, they wanted to reply or negate said claims, but something compelled them to believe, as if there was something inside them that told them that that indeed was the truth. "In this future, only a handful of individuals survive the disaster brought upon by Salem, and it will be from there that our reading starts" For now, the images stopped
Then another image of Salem alone in Evernight castle popped up in its place.
Lancelot could only look down as continued "There are no winners apart from her in this war, not even her subordinates…maybe Ozpin could also consider himself a winner".
The hologram disappears as well as the weapons of everyone, who were startled by this.
"What you're about to learn might make some of you tend to violence or denial, so to solve that issue your weapons have been taken and all violent acts shall be seized immediately by me" He snaped his fingers once more an in an instant, they disappeared and reappeared seated within the stablished couches. "I hope this shows that, even as I could have just forcefully made you all sit down, understand, and accept my words as true I decided against it in order to have a better guest-host relationship".
A slow-paced tune began to sound and calmed everyone from their anger or disappointment, letting them assimilate the information the knight showed and began to understand what he wanted.
It had an influence over their emotions.
"Aright, I get what you're doing here, showing the future or that timeline whatever for us to 'learn something', but there's something I don't get" The drunken bird raised his voice, getting everyone's attention. "The kids were probably dragged to this mess, Salem's spy over there were in it from the beginning, ice queen and jimmy work similarly to Glynda and me, Raven knows too, and the tribe does too probably, so why isn't Oz here or heck, I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be a fourth kid in that other team?"
Lancelot could understand but chose to keep that to himself "Truly, you are pretty sharp when you don't find yourself as drunk as usual Qrow, but there are reasons for the missing individuals which you will learn as you read" The answer was cryptic at best, but no one really wanted to keep arguing with the knight. "The only thing I will say is that Jaune Arc cannot come in here he's rather…busy right now".
The mention of the name got a few eyebrows to be lifted but there wasn't time for more conversation as they were glowing and moving once more.
The seat arrangements were changed once more as the demonstration from before was just that, a demonstration.
Team RWBY and _NPR sat together on the front, the professor, Atlessian and huntsman behind them. Cinder's group went on the other row of couches, with the tribe members behind.
As such, the audience decided to follow along with what the man wanted.

Soo, how does it look?
I've tried to make build some world around the reaction first to set stage if I ever want to do a different one, and yes, they are Arthurian themed place and characters, because why not, the round table is cool.
When this first chapter goes out, I will have the next one already finished but it wont be published at the same time, I'll wait like a day to see the response before I publish the actual first chapter.
Anyways, if you want to see any other character being added, just say it. And that's all and thanks for reading
