Leia finished up her dinner in the span of a minutes. She put her plate in the dishwasher and rushed upstairs, ignoring her parents' call. After a long day of school, she just wanted to rest. Right then, her phone buzzed.

She took a look and saw that it was Jay, making her heart race. They hadn't talked ever since she decided that she wasn't going to be with either him or Nate. With Nate, he was a nice guy, but there was no spark between them and they just felt like friends.

But Jay, he made her heart race just with one glance. She loved hanging out with him. He was funny and charming and sweet. Jay was sweet and loving. Ever since childhood, there was this obvious connection between them. But she was scared about what'll happen if they got back together.

Leia sighed and picked up the call. She smiled when seeing Jay. "Hey Jay. How's school been?" Jay chuckled, "Well, a lot has happened. Me and Betsy almost got shot." Leia shook her head, "Wait what?" Jay sighed, "There was this whole thing with dad trying to find this bank robber. He pretended to be a kid at our school, me and Betsy didn't know, and yeah…"

"Oh my god." Leia gasped. It's only been a few weeks and so much has happened. Jay sighed, "I missed talking to you." Leia smiled, "I missed you too." If they weren't in different places, she could kiss him right now. But she wanted to feel the warmth of his lips on hers, have his arms around her neck. She didn't want to kiss him through a computer and only feel touchscreen.

Jay exhaled, "Leia, I need to tell you something." Leia raised an eyebrow, "What is it?" Even though he and Leia weren't together and she said she wanted to be single, he still felt like he did something wrong by helping Nikki. Leia could tell what he was thinking and shook her head.

"Did you sleep with somebody?" The idea wasn't exactly thrilling despite her saying that she wanted to be single. That may sound selfish but that was how Leia felt. Jay nodded, "Yeah. It was just a one time thing and it didn't mean anything. But you deserve to know." He looked into Leia's eyes, trying to figure out what was going through her head.

She may hate him, but at the same time, she deserves better than to be lied to. Leia sighed, "Who was is? Was it someone in the group?" Jay nodded, "Yeah." Leia took a swig of water and looked back at him. "Was it Gwen?" Jay shook his head. "Nikki?" He simply nodded.

"Okay. Thanks for telling me." Leia sighed. Jay raised an eyebrow, "You're not mad at me?" She took another swig of water and put the bottle down. "We broke up a month ago and I did tell you I wanted to be single for a bit. You can sleep with who you want." She wasn't too thrilled about him sleeping with Nikki, but at the same time, they weren't together so it didn't bug her that much. Plus she knew that Nikki clearly had feelings for Gwen.

Jay sighed and nodded, "Still. I need you to know, it didn't mean anything. I just see her as a friend." Leia nodded, "I know." She chuckled and smiled at him, making Jay smile back. Jay chuckled, "So what's going on with you at school? Are things with Eleanor still rough?"

Leia scoffed, "When are they not rough? It's like, ever since the beginning of the year, she's more obnoxious than last year." She sighed, "On a more positive note, I do have a homecoming dance. I'd ask you, but like I said, two different places." The two chuckled and stared at one another. Jay's mouth opened when realizing what Leia just said.

"You'd want me to be your date to homecoming?" Jay asked breathlessly. Leia chuckled and nodded, "Yeah." The two stared at one another for a bit until…

On the other line, Betsy barged right into Jay's bedroom. "Jay, did you and Runck drink my bottle of beer? It's half empty!" She could hear Jay sighing on the other line in annoyance. "No I didn't. And how do you even manage to hide that thing from mom and dad anyways?"

Betsy shrugged, "I've got a system." She turns to the camera. "Hey Leia." Leia chuckled, "Hey Betsy, how's everything?" Betsy chuckled, "Pretty good. We have a dance performance in the theater soon so we've been preparing for that."

Jay turned to Betsy, "Was that why you and Jamie were dressed up like you were going on a marathon?" Betsy shrugged, "I take my shit seriously." She checked her watch. "Well, I'm off. Me and Kris are going on a double date with Serena and Trevor. Later!" She walked out of Jay's bedroom.

Leia chuckled, "Serena and Trevor?" Jay nodded, "Yeah." Leia nodded, "I can see it. They're both super athletic, take their stuff seriously, and are both easy going." Jay chuckled, "Yeah." The two of them were smiling at each other. Leia rubbed her eyes, "I'm tired but I'll talk to you tomorrow."

Jay chuckled, "Talk to you tomorrow." Leia smiled and hung up. She stretched her arms up and put her laptop away. She couldn't wait to see him again.
