Chapter 1
A young man that was 16 years old was walking down the road. This man was different compared to others though. He has blonde hair with two bangs framing his face, blue eyes with three whisker-like marks on his cheeks. He had a mask covering half of his face. His outfit consisted of a green shirt with black pants and black combat boots. He wore a black cloak that had red clouds on them. To finish off the outfit he wore a straw hat to cover his entire face. This was Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.
He's not from that world. He first arrived here two years ago in the middle of a raid that the Fire Nation was doing against a small earth kingdom village that he ended up pushing them back and stopping the raid altogether. He was able to learn about the war during his time in the village until he started traveling knowing what he wanted to do. Ever since then he's been causing problems for the Fire Nation stopping raids, destroying camps that held prisoners that held earth benders and a few water benders. He was given a nickname and put on the wanted list by the Fire Nation called, "The Red Eyed Demon", but he also went by another name called, "Akatsuki" which meant dawn.
"Where are we heading now?" A booming voice asked.
"We're heading to Kyoshi Island, Kurama. I heard it's the home island of Avatar Kyoshi and with what we've been hearing about her. She would've been an impressive Shinobi in our world, don't you think?" Naruto asked.
"I would have to agree on that one. From what we've heard, she wasn't afraid to make the tough decisions and to do what needed to be done. She could give some kages a good run for their money." Kurama said
"That's true. Makes you wonder how she'd compare to Madara and Hashirama." Another voice asked.
"That would be something I'd pay to see. She would be able to match them in power I'd say. I don't know about you Isobu, but I think she'd prove to be a challenge." Naruto said.
"You should get going if we want to learn more about her." Isobu said, curious and intrigued.
Naruto has what are called Tailed Beasts sealed inside him. He first had Kurama sealed in him when he was 5 years old and learned of his name when he was 8 years old where he learned how to handle his chakra which was extremely potent to use. He became a Genin at 9 years old and a Chunin at 10. When he was 12 years old he and a team of Anbu went to Kiri to help with the Civil War against the Fourth Mizukage. After months of fighting the kage, he ended up killing him, but not before sealing Isobu into himself, so no one else would have to become a Jinchuriki making Naruto the first person to hold more than one Tailed Beast. He was also given one of the Seven Swordsmen blades as a gift by the previous holder Zabuza Momochi who wielded the "Executioner's Blade".
Kyoshi Island
He approached the island with a grin on his face, excited to learn more about the female avatar. Once he made it there, he headed towards the village to meet with the village leader when his senses started going off as five shadows appeared. They were each wearing the same outfit consisting of adorned metal headdresses and heavily armored green kimonos and wore face paint.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" The leader asked him, narrowing her eyes.
"I apologize if I'm trespassing, but I wanted to learn more about the avatars and Kyoshi had been one of the ones that got me intrigued from what I had heard, so I thought I could learn about her from her home village." Naruto explained raising his hands not wanting to cause any trouble.
"You still never told us who you are though." She said still on guard with her fans out.
"Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze or you might know my other names. The Red Eyed Demon and Akatsuki" He smirked seeing their shocked expressions.
"Your eyes aren't red though." She said in disbelief until she saw his blue eyes change from blue to red with three tomoes in them.
"Is this enough to convince you? My clothing should've helped as well to identify myself." He gestured to his black cloak with red clouds.
"Forgive us, we didn't mean any disrespect, we're just wanting to protect our home with the war going on still." She said, getting a nod from him.
"I can understand and respect that. It's not easy with everything going on in the world right now. Can we get going?" He asked with a smile at them.
She nodded as they headed back to the village.
"Of course follow us. I'm Suki by the way." She smiled at him.
"A pleasure to meet you." He said.
A Few Weeks Later
Naruto had enjoyed his stay in Kyoshi Island so far, finding how impressive Kyoshi was. She was someone who took her role as the avatar seriously, again reading that she always did what needed to be done for the world and for the people. The story about Jin made his jaw drop when he learned how Kyoshi Island came to be. He was told that Kyoshi split off from the main lands which would take a tremendous amount of chakra to do and managed to push it away using Airbending furthering her impressive power that she had. He now would love to have the chance to talk to her just to hear more stories to compare them and to maybe test himself against her.
He was welcomed into the village and got to know everyone. The people were friendly to him and treated him as if he lived with him. He spent a lot of time with the Kyoshi Warriors and would train with them. Out of everyone though, he spent the most amount of time with Suki who was the leader of the Kyoshi Warriors. They would be spotted together talking about nearly anything. She learned a lot about him, what he likes are, dislikes, hobbies, etc. It took awhile, but he opened up about his origins and how he was from another world. She felt bad for him, but didn't treat him any differently knowing he'd want to be treated the same even if he had two Tailed Beasts sealed in him. Her respect for him grew exponentially in his selflessness. Right now we see the two sparring each other out on the beach where they'd usually hang out at.
Suki had one of her fans out with Naruto having a tri-pronged kunai in a reverse grip as he rushed her swinging it at her, but she used her fan to knock his arm to the side as she threw a kick at him to which he caught it with his other arm grinning at her improvement. She had gotten much faster since he started training her and the others.
She close one of her fans and threw it at fast speeds causing him to let go of her leg and roll to the side. She rushed him with her remaining fan as she engaged the blonde in close combat. This lasted a few minutes until she caught his kunai in her fan, closing it, disarming him and kicking him in the stomach, sending him skidding back.
"Nicely done Suki. You've gotten really good." He complimented.
She blushed at the compliment as she felt pride in it.
"T-Thank you Naruto." She stuttered.
"We should probably head back to the village now." He suggested with Suki agreeing with a nod as they started heading back.
Naruto sensed four energies heading towards them. When he looked up he saw what looked like a bison with what seemed to be three people on it.
"Suki, we got incoming looks like some travelers, but get the others just in case. I'll watch to make sure they don't do anything while you handle it." He said as she nodded and took off.
The rest happens in canon with until they get surprised by Suki and the other Kyoshi Warriors.
"Show yourself cowards!" The oldest one ordered angrily.
Suki removed their blindfolds with the same boy looking around.
"Where are the men who ambushed us?" He asked, annoyed.
"There were no men, we ambushed you." Suki said glaring at him.
"You're telling me, we were beaten by a bunch of girls?" He asked not believing her.
"A bunch of girls huh? The Unagi will eat well tonight." She threatened as she grabbed his collar.
"Forgive my brother, he's being stupid." The young woman in the group said glaring at her brother.
"I'll say. It's not smart to think less of a girl. If my mother had heard you say that, she'd skin you alive and remove what made you a man." Naruto laughed seeing him pale as he approached them.
"For now though, could you untie them Suki. I can tell they aren't here to cause trouble. Unintentionally anyway." He said looking at Sokka.
"How do you know that if I may ask?" The bald one asked with a raised eyebrow.
"One, you look like a monk with an arrow on your head. Two, these two look to be from the water tribe, and three, you're the avatar." He said with a smirk seeing their eyes widen at the explanation.
"How's that possible? The avatar was supposed to be an airbender who disappeared a hundred years ago." Suki said skeptical.
"He is the airbender. He could've gotten out of those binds anytime. Mind doing that kid?" Naruto asked.
He nodded as he jumped out with airending, cutting the rope as he floated back down with everyone there cheering and going crazy with one guy's mouth starting to foam as he passed out from excitement.
"You seem to know a lot about us. Who are you if I may ask?" The girl asked.
"He must be a Fire Nation spy!" The boy accused making everyone look at him like it was the dumbest thing ever.
"Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze at your service. May I know your name beautiful?" He asked with a smile as the other two guys both frowned for different reasons.
The girl blushed at the compliment. "I'm Katara. This is my brother Sokka and Aang." She introduced.
"Why do you wear the mask?" Sokka asked curiously..
"Sokka!" Katara said with how nosy he's being..
"Ma ma it's fine Katara. I wear it because it's comfortable and like the look it gives me as well." Naruto said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Are you a traveler as well? You don't seem like you live here." Anag asked not wanting to be rude.
"You're right. I don't live here, but they have treated me as if I did live here. I came here wanting to learn more about Avatar Kyoshi as she was an impressive Avatar and I have to say she really was something. That and I helped train Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors a little." Naruto said, impressed.
"Why did you want to study her?" Katara asked curiously.
"She just reminded me of some of my old leaders and could give them a run for their money with how powerful she was." He said.
"Ah ha! That explains everything! They only reason they beat us because you trained them!" Sokka said thinking that it was nothing but luck.
He growled at this guy's stupidity.
"Are you kidding me! Suki and the others could take you on even before I helped them. You're acting like they can't fight or do anything except be a housewife when that is not true at all. Women are so much stronger than any man can ever be, so shut it before things get worse for you than they are already." Naruto growled at him, making him gulp, getting flushed cheeks from all the girls there, but more from Katara and Suki.
Sokka said nothing else and walked off annoyed at what he was told. Aang decided to check out the island with his own fangirls wanting to hang out with him as the crowd dispersed leaving Katara with Suki and Naruto left.
"I'm sorry about my brother. He's too pig headed to think otherwise. Did you really mean what you said before about girls?" Katara asked.
"Of course I did. Women go through childbirth making them already go through unimaginable pain. I have tremendous respect for women. They can fight and do everything guys can do." Naruto said, making Katara and Suki smile.
"Would you look at that, he's such a sweetheart standing up for us like that. Wouldn't you agree, Katara?" Suki teased pinching his cheek.
"Stop it Suki." He grumbled.
Katara giggled at the interaction.
"You two seem to get along really well." Katara smiled.
"When you have been teaching someone for some time, they tend to grow on you. Can you show her around Suki? I have some training to do at the beach?" He said.
"I don't mind. Follow me Katara. Don't be gone too long Naruto." Suki said as they walked off with Katara waving back at him with Naruto doing the same.
Naruto walked out to the beach where he and Suki were sparring when he was alone, he created 900 clones.
"Listen up! I want 100 of you to work on chakra control exercises! 100 to continue with Fuinjutsu, so we could come up with a seal to possibly get us home! 500 of you on Elemental Manipulation in the following elements ice, sand, storm, and scorch! 100 of you getting perfect control for the basic elements! 100 on further improving the Sharingan abilities!" He ordered as the clones left to do their tasks.
Four Hours Later
Suki was getting worried for Naruto as he's been gone for longer than he normally would be with training. She decided to go look for him at the beach. On the way she runs into Katara who joins her having noticed that Naruto hadn't gotten back either. When they get to the beach, they see something that surprises them completely. Suki knew he could make clones, but hadn't expected so many at once. Katara however had her eyes wide open and jaw on the ground seeing not just clones, but him being able to use more than one element.
"How is this possible!? He's not the Avatar! He shouldn't be able to use more than one element, let alone the many I'm seeing here." Katara said in disbelief yet in awe of it.
"That would be Naruto training. He's… Different from your everyday bender." Suki said vaguely.
They hear Naruto shouting something.
"Alright everyone, start dispelling in groups of 50 every thirty seconds!" He ordered.
"Right!" They shouted back as they started dispelling.
"Well better to go talk to Suki and Katara to explain some things to her since Suki already knows." Naruto said to himself as he started heading back to them.
"What are they doing?" Katara asked, seeing the clones dispelling.
"That would be the clones dispeling whatever they work on and learn the memories are transferred back to the original, but does it groups instead of all of them at once or else he risks the backlash of so much information at once knocking him unconscious." Suki explained getting an "oh" from her.
"That's incredible. How'd he be able to do all of this? The clones and everything?" Katara asked in awe.
"That's a lot to explain, I take it you saw all of that?" Naruto asked as he approached them.
The girls were blushing seeing him shirtless with an 8-pack and slightly drooling.
"Careful ladies, you're drooling." He smirked seeing them get redder out of embarrassment as they wipe the drool off.
"S-Shut up Naruto!" Suki shouted embarrassed.
"A-Anyway, how were you able to bend multiple elements like that? You're not the Avatar and cloning? That's unheard of." Katara said getting her blush under control.
"Like I said before, it's a lot to explain and only Suki knows. It wouldn't be good if the Fire Lord got wind of everything I'm capable of." He said.
"Why does only Suki know? What's so important that it need to be kept a secret?" Katara asked.
"Could I trust you not to tell anyone what I tell you?" He asked seriously.
"Yes of course." She said with determination.
"Alright then, first I'm not a bender, I use another source called chakra to do what I am capable of." He explained.
"Chakra?" She asked, confused.
"Yes, it's similar to the energy that benders use, except instead of movements with the body that benders use, I use hand signs to perform the feats. For me I'm able to learn more elements, usually two, but it's different for everyone as most would have one affinity, but could learn a second one. I'm a special case since I am able to use all of the affinities being wind, water, earth, fire, and lightning. What you saw me using were what are called sub-elements ice, storm, sand, and scorch which are the combination of two elements to create them. For example, water and wind together make ice." He explained with a smirk seeing her astonished expression at what she heard.
"Incredible, but what would happen if the Fire Lord found out about chakra?" She asked not understanding their concern.
"He'd either want him killed since he would be extremely difficult to get rid of or for him to be captured to either try to teach their military or use him as a breeding stock to have more people like Naruto to control." Suki frowned knowing how horrible that would be for him.
"That's horrible." She gasped, covering her mouth with her hand not able to imagine how a life like that would be like.
"She's right and I'm wanted by them already, but not me specifically since they've only seen my cloak with the straw hat and nothing else." He sighed in relief.
"You're wanted by the Fire Nation? What for?" Katara asked.
"Because I've been liberating Fire Nation camps freeing prisoners and slaves. There have been a few water benders I've come across, but most of them have been earth benders." He said with a smirk knowing how pissed off the Fire Nation has been losing ground even if slowly.
"That's amazing Naruto! What happened to the water benders after they were freed?" Katara asked excitedly.
"I helped them get back to the North Pole. I was going to be heading there when I left Kyoshi Island. I haven't been there in months and would like to see how everyone has been doing." The blonde answered.
"That's where we're heading too. Why not come with us? It would be faster after all." She said with a smile.
"Are you sure that would be okay? I wouldn't want to be an inconvenience to you and the others." He said unsure.
"It would be okay if you joined us. It would be nice to have someone join the group, maybe Sokka can learn a thing or two from you." She said with a smirk making him grin knowing what she was thinking.
"It beats walking, so why not. When do you plan on leaving?" He asked not noticing the sad expression from Suki, but Katara did.
"Hopefully in a couple of days, we need to get supplies though before we can leave." She said, getting a nod from him.
"True. It's getting late, we should probably head back for the night." Naruto said as they started walking back.
"Actually, you go on ahead, I want to talk to Suki about something really quick." Katara said, getting a questioning look from him, but shrugged it off.
"Sure. Have fun you two." He said as he walked off.
"What did you want to talk to me about?" Suki asked once Naruto was out of view.
"You like him don't you?" She asked with a smirk.
"W-W-hat? Me like him? Are you kidding me! What makes you think I like him? Who'd like someone like him with his strong body, kind, funny, caring, compassionate personality." Suki sighed dreamily, but snapped out of it when she heard giggling from Katara.
"Wow you have it bad for him, but he does seem nice, so I can't blame you." Katara said with a smile and smirk.
She sighed knowing she couldn't hide it from her.
"Yeah. He doesn't think of women as weak or fragile, which is a bonus, but when you get to know him like I did last month, it's hard not to feel something towards him." Suki said with a small smile.
"I can understand that. He seems like a great guy too, but I wanted to ask if you want to come with us as well?" Katara asked, surprising the Kyoshi Warrior.
"Huh?" She dumbly asked.
Katara giggled at the response.
"Why not? You care about him a lot and he seems to care for you as well. That and having another girl in the group would be nice to have." She reasoned.
"As much as I would like too, I can't. I have my duty here to protect the village." Suki was saddened by that.
"Think about it. Like I said we'll be here for a couple of days or so and talk to the others as you never know what they will say." The water bender said with a smile.
Suki didn't say anything as they headed back with a lot to think about what she should want to do.
A Week Later
Naruto had taken a liking to the new group except for Sokka with his attitude since he thought it was a fluke and by surprise only that he lost to Suki until he challenged her getting humiliated by her in the process. When they were told that Naruto would be joining them, Sokka wasn't too happy about it at first, not trusting him like everyone else, especially since he and Katara were getting close. Aang was happy to have someone else to join their group, but didn't like how close he and Katara were getting since he had developed a crush on her.
Aang was loving the attention he was getting from the village. He even had his own fangirls that would chase after him when they'd see him. It's good to receive praise, but he had been letting it get to him and would do anything to impress them. He learned that Aang had only air bending, knowing that he had a lot of work to do if he was to master all four elements.
The last member was Katara who he had learned was a kind and patient woman having to act like the mature one of the group. He learned that she was a water bender, but needed a teacher which was another reason she was going to the North Pole. He gave her some water bending scrolls that he had come across during his travels to give to someone who would be able to make use of them since they were invaluable. He would've told Aang about it, but he wasn't taking his duties seriously, so he only told Katara who took it with gratitude and excitement wanting to learn more. He enjoyed her company as he, Suki, and Katara could often be seen together most of the time when neither of them were training.
Katara could understand what Suki saw in Naruto when her and Suki last talked about it. She found him to be very kind, will to help anyone in need. Not only that, but he worked hard for his skills as he would train for hours in a day. She learned about how he had been trying to find a way home after he told her he wasn't from this world. At first she didn't believe it until she remembered their conversation about chakra making her change her mind immediately.
"You alright Katar?" Naruto asked, noticing she looked upset about something.
"I'm fine Naruto. It's just I'm worried that Aang is letting this whole Avatar worship get to his head." Katara said, frowning.
"I can understand your concern., but I feel there's more to it than that right?" He asked.
"You're not wrong. He's not wanting to leave yet or at all when we're being chased by the Fire Nation." She answered.
"I see. I could always put him to sleep using the Sharingan if you want." He said with a grin.
She smacked his arm playfully.
"No need to go that far. I'm sure he'll figure it out soon. I'm about done getting supplies too for when we leave." She said gesturing to the baskets she's carrying.
"Want some help with those?" He offered with a smile making her smile back.
"Sure. I appreciate it." She said as he took one of the baskets from her as they headed back to their house.
"How has training been going with the scrolls I gave you? I hope that they were able to help you." Naruto said wanting to hear about her progress.
"It's been going okay I suppose. It's been slow, but I'm getting there." Katara said with a small smile.
"That's good. I know you'll be able to get them down in no time. Maybe you can have some moves based on some of my water jutsus that I've shown you." He said, making blush at the praise since not many believed she could become a great water bender.
"Maybe, but for now I'm content with what I have." She replied when they saw Aang heading towards them.
"Hey Katara, Naruto." Aang greeted.
"Oh hey Aang. What are you up to?." Katara asked.
"I wanted to see if you wanted to join me and the others as I'm taking them on a ride on Appa. It'll be fun." Aang said, smiling, ignoring Naruto making him sigh.
"I can't. We have to get these supplies since we'll be leaving soon. We can't stay here for much longer." Katara argued.
"I don't want to leave yet. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something I really like about this place." Aang said, making Naruto roll his eyes and Katara sighing.
"What's taking so long aangie?" One of the kids asked.
"Aangie?" Naruto/Katara asked simultaneously looking at each other.
" Just a second Koko!" Aang told her.
"Simple monk huh?" Katara asked sarcastically. "I thought you promised me this Avatar stuff would go to your head?" She asked, disappointed.
"It didn't. You know what I think? I think you're jealous." Aang accused Naruto who snorted.
"Kid. I don't see why she'd be jealous. She's just trying to not lose sight of what's important." Naruto said getting a confused look from Aang, but ignored him.
"I think you should listen to him, Aang. He's right. The longer we stay here, the bigger chance of the Zuko finding us." Katara said with Naruto nodding in agreement.
"Whatever. It'll be fun though, but it's your loss."Aang glared at Naruto for a moment until he laughed when he was dragged off by the girls.
"I'm sorry about him." She apologized with a frown.
"It's no big deal. He'll get out of this funk eventually. Trust me. We should get going though so we can get these supplies ready for tomorrow." He assured her, seeing her nod as they walked off.
Hours Later
Not a lot had happened since Aang and Katara argued except for Sokka apologizing to Suki for his earlier treatment, making Naruto smile knowing that he's becoming a better person and realizing his mistakes. Aang however was trying to guilt trip Katara when he told her that he would be attempting to ride on the Unagi making him shake his head at his stupidity. It was obvious that the kid had a crush on Katara, but she seemed to think of him differently as more of a little brother, but they ended up arguing again. Aang did go with his group of fangirls to impress them again by riding him, but the Unagi didn't show up making them bored leaving Aang by himself when Katara and Naruto showed up with them apologizing while Naruto merely observed since it didn't involve him entirely. Aang was than caught by surprise by the Unagi giving him a ride of sorts, but it was worrying until he let go giving Naruto the chance to get him and bring him back to land as Katara used water bending to get the excess water in Aang's lungs..
"How is he?" Katara asked worriedly.
"He'll be fine. He's just unconscious, but should wake up soon." Naruto said in assurance when he heard a groan.
"Naruto, Katara. Riding the Unagi. Not. Fun." He said tiredly, making him chuckle.
"Glad to have you back, Aang. Wasn't sure if we'd need to find the next Avatar if you kicked the bucket." He joked, making Katara hit his shoulder playfully, but giggled with Aang chuckling at the joke.
"We should get you back to the village now, so you can rest." Katara said as they helped him up when they saw a Fire Nation ship coming towards the island.
"Fire Nation. They found us. We need to hurry so leave." Katara said with Aang not sure about leaving them.
"You guys hurry back. I'll stall them and catch up with you guys." Naruto said, making them look at him concerned.
"Are you sure Naruto? We could take them on together right?" Aang asked, unsure about leaving them like that.
"I'm positive. They want you guys and I can keep the damage to minimum and once they see you guys are not there anymore, they'll follow you giving me the chance to catch up." Naruto said getting a nod from Aang, but Katara was still unsure.
"Just be careful okay?" She asked with a frown before he felt a hand on her shoulder to see Naruto smile at her.
"I'll be alright Katara. I promise to be careful and I don't go back on my word." He said as he ran off to confront them.
"Let's get going." Aang said with her following him.
Naruto arrived on the ship wearing his Akatsuki cloak and straw hat when the front opening revealed a group of firebenders on what looked like rhino's with someone behind them. It was a young woman around his age who had amber gold eyes, black hair, and light skin color. Her outfit consisted of what looked like a royal armor with elaborate designs, colored in black that had the usual typical Fire Nation style, with scarlet detailing and fine golden tracing that went over her shoulders.
"Who are you? Where's the Avatar?!" The young woman demanded arrogantly.
"My name is of no importance, though I'm surprised you don't recognize my clothing since I'm well known among the Fire Nation." He shrugged. "The Avatar, well he's not here right now, so I'm filling in for him." He smirked under his hat.
It took a moment for her and her soldiers to recognize him as they looked at his clothing recognizing the red clouds on his cloak making the soldiers pale and the girl to smirk and grin at him.
"Ahh you must be the Red Eyed Demon/ Akatsuki I've heard about. I'm sure you know who I am, but I'm Azula Princess of the Fire Nation. You've caused quite the problems since you first started two years ago. I'm impressed with your skills, but why not work for us? You could do so much and accomplish so much? With your power, you could easily have your way putting fear into everyone." The now named Azula said wanting such power on her side.
"Nah. I appreciate the offer, but I'm not one to use fear or to work with the Fire Nation as it is now." Naruto denied her offer.
"What a shame and I was hoping you'd take it. Now I will deal with you so you aren't a problem in the future." Azul said.
She swung her leg out creating a blue fire blast that was impressive to him with Naruto jumping up to avoid it as Naruto went through a hand sign.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu." He mentally thought.
He shot a fireball out of his mouth making her go wide eyed at the size making her roll to the side with her throwing her fist out with another fireball that Naruto met with his own fireball using the same jutsu as before. He never noticed Azula send a haymaker one that was even bigger until it was too late with some of his hat getting caught on fire forcing him to get rid of it showing his blonde spiky hair.
"Well well. You're quite the handsome man aren't you? I've never seen anyone with your hair color before though. You're quite strong, that's for sure. After I beat you. I think I'll keep you." She said with a smirk.
"You're welcome to try princess. I'm one of a kind person, but I'm sorry princess you'll have to settle for someone else." Naruto said before going through more hand signs.
"Lightning Style: Chidori Current" Slamming his hand into the ground as the area was covered in lightning with Azula using her firebending to jet herself into the air making Naruto tsk in annoyance, but also impressed with her firebending skills.
Azula used that moment to send multiple fireballs at him with Naruto not able to avoid them in time creating an explosion at the fireballs connected. She panted a little from using the amount of fireballs knowing she put a large amount of power into them knowing she'd have a hard time putting him down.
The dust settled to not reveal him there expecting him to be hurt somewhat, but all she could see was a destroyed log in his place making her confused about what just happened.
"Where'd he go?" She asked no one in particular looking around.
"Behind you." A voice said, startling her.
She turned around not fast enough when she was hit from behind sending her crashing into the ground. She got up slowly growling at how she missed him.
"How'd you get behind me like that without me noticing?" She growled in frustration.
"I can't say. You wouldn't believe me even if I told you. It's been fun princess, but I need to get going. My friends are waiting for me, but I do hope we meet again beautiful. See ya." He winked at her as he disappeared in a swirl of fire, surprising her before she roared in frustration, but was also impressed with him not being afraid of her getting his attention.
"Let's go. We have an Avatar and a blonde to find." She ordered as they left Kyoshi Island.
Naruto is running over the water using chakra when he spots Appa when he teleports onto the saddle surprising everyone with his sudden entrance.
"What the?!" Katara shouted.
"What the hell?!" Sokka shouted.
"Jeez no need to yell guys." Naruto said, wincing from the loud yelling.
"How'd you do that? You just appeared out of nowhere?" Aang asked excitedly with stars in his eyes.
"It's a teleportation technique called the "Body Flicker" that allows me to teleport at fast speeds." He answered, getting looks of awes from everyone, when he noticed someone else was there.
"Suki? What are you doing here? It's great to see you though, but I wasn't aware you'd be joining us." He said confused.
"I wanted to help you guys against the Fire Nation and I know the Kyoshi Warriors can handle it without me, so I decided to come with you." She replied with a smile.
"That's awesome. I look forward to traveling with you. And again thank you Aang, Sokka, and Katara for allowing me to come with you as well." Naruto thanked them as they smiled back.
"What's the plan now?" Suki asked curiously about what they'd be doing now.
"We're heading to an Earth Kingdom city called Omashu that I used to visit 100 years ago." Aang said with excitement in his voice.
"That's fine with me. It gives me the chance to get to know you guys better." Naruto said. "I also wanted to ask if you guys wanted to learn hand to hand combat and/or how to use weapons such as a blade, kunais, or shurikens. I'm asking this in case you find yourself in a situation where you aren't able to use your bending and would still have something to fall back on. It could also complement your bending depending on the style I teach." The blonde said pointing at Sokka, Katara, and Aang.
"No thanks. I'm good." Aang shook his head.
"I wouldn't mind learning some hand to hand combat, but weapons wouldn't really be my kind of thing to use if that's okay?" Katara asked not wanting to upset him.
"Thanks. It would be nice to have something else to help me become a better warrior." Sokka grinned at the thought of using other weapons and being able to be stronger.
"In order. It's not an issue Aang, but the offer will always be open if you change your mind. Katara, it's okay if you don't want to take up all of my offers because of wanting to hurt my feelings. It's your choice in what you want to learn and I can respect what you want. I could also help with your waterbending in manipulation as well. If you can shape water into different objects to have more diversity, you could maybe create your own techniques with them. And Sokka, I have a lot I can teach you both in hand to hand combat, but I mainly use four weapons at most, but will only teach you three of them with one of them being more of a family style. Not only that, but we'll be working on improving your physical capabilities as well, seeing how you're mainly skin and bones." He explained getting nods from him and some snickers from everyone else.
"I guess that's true… HEY!" He shouted, getting laughs from everyone.
"Oh you know it's true Sokka. You need to put more muscle on you, then maybe you can get a girlfriend." Katara teased Sokka, grumbling about annoying sister.
"Will you stop it?!" He begged at the teasing he was getting.
"Fine, fine." Shr relented with a smirk.
"Once we stop we can start your training. You want to join us as well, Suki?" He asked her.
"I'm fine for now. I still have to finish what you've given me already, but maybe another time." She said with a shake of her head.
A Few Days Later
They had spent all of that time getting to know each other, especially Naruto as they found out he could use multiple elements like the Avatar could, shocking them except for Katara and Suki having seen him already do it. They found him to be fun, caring, somewhat annoying with his lazy responses, but also someone who would go far for people he cared about. Also he told them that he knew the perfect person to be Aangs' EarthBending teacher which would be after their stop in Omashu. They would ask who it was, but he claimed it would be secret since it would be a surprise to them.
"Here we are. Omashu, one of the last remaining strongholds left in the Earth Kingdom." Naruto said solemnly.
"Not a lot has changed about this place. It looks exactly the same since I was last here. It's good to be back." Aang smiled at the memories he had here with his friend.
"We should get going, but you need a disguise." Sokka suggested referring to Aang.
A Few Minutes Later
"Perfect." Sokka grinned with a thumbs up.
Aang had a wig and beard made out of Appa's fur to cover his face and arrow while wearing his regular airbending robes.
"How do you wear this buddy? It's so itchy." He complained scratching his head, getting snickers from the boys and giggles from the girls.
"Great now, you like my grandfather." Sokka deadpanned.
"Well he is 112 years old." Katara said smoothly
"Come on whippersnappers. The big city awaits!" Aang said in a disguised voice trying to sound like an old man.
"You guys go ahead." Naruto told them getting their attention.
"You're not coming?" Katara asked sadly that he wasn't going with them.
"Not this time. I have something that I want to check out. It should take me more than a day to be back." He said.
"Are you sure? Do you want one of us to go with you?" Suki asked, wanting to make sure.
"I should be okay, go ahead and enjoy yourselves. I promise I will be fine." He assured her with a smile which she returned with her own.
THey nodded and walked off with the girls looking back once more before catching up to Aang and Sokka.
"Now that they're gone, let's go check out the circus I've heard about being in the area." He said to himself.
"Summoning Technique Kyuubi!" He said.
The smoke cleared to reveal a smaller sized Kurama, the nine-tailed fox that was the size of a polar bear.
"Ahh! It's good to be out of the seal! Are you ready to head out? I heard everything, so you don't need to explain anything to me or Isobu." Kurama explained with Naruto nodding, figuring they would know what he had planned.
"Thanks Kurama. This would be good for you. You could use the exercise after all." He smirked with Kurama growling at him.
"Oi! Are you calling me fat, whiskers?!" He shouted at the blonde.
"Eh who knows, but also thought you'd want to get out of the seal for a bit, I'll be bringing Isobu out as well once we get there, so he can stretch his paws too." He said getting a grunt from the turtle.
"Feh whatever, just get on kit. Why didn't you tell the others about it?" He asked curiously.
"Knowing them or more specifically Sokka and Aang, they'd do something to attract attention to us with Aang getting himself revealed as the Avatar. It's just a hunch, but I am going to listen to it. I would've brought the girls, but then the two boys would've complained with Aang getting more jealous which is something I don't need." He answered, getting a nod from the fox as they took off to where the circus would be.
It didn't take them long to get there since it was close by making it easier for them to get there. There was a lot to see, different acts they could visit and foods they could try too.
"And now let's get Isobu out." He said.
"Summoning Technique Sanbi!" He called out.
"Man it's good to be out again. I appreciate this Naruto." A small three tailed armored turtle said with gratitude in his voice.
"Glad to have you out. I can't imagine how it must feel being stuck in a seal like that with not a lot of freedom. Let's enjoy ourselves, we have today, so let's see what this place has to offer for us." He said as the three walked around.
They spent the whole day trying out different foods, watching different acts as some looked impressive and interesting compared to others, but it was something different compared to what his life had been like. They were about done for the day when Kurama smelled something and ran off getting Naruto and Isobu's attention.
"Hey furball! Where are you going?!" The blonde shouted and looked at the other Biju on his shoulder. "Do you have any idea where he's going?" He asked.
"Not a clue." He shrugged as Naruto pinched the bridge of his nose with a sigh as they followed the fox.
They followed after him and when they caught up to him, he was eating food that was in one of the barrels and handing some out to the caged animals who looked hungry.
"So this is where you went? Hey Isobu, you mind keeping watch for us?" He asked.
The turtle nodded, jumping off of his shoulder running off to the entrance.
"That's nice of you to get them some food Kurama. Didn't know you could be so kind." He teased before a tail smacked him in the face.
""Shut up brat! I'm just doing what I can here for them." The fox said, getting a smile from the blonde.
"What are you doing out here on your own? You're such a cute turtle." A voice said, getting their attention.
Naruto and Kurama turned around to see a young woman that had brown hair in a ponytail, brown-gray eyes, light skin tone color, with a well developed and fit body with D-cup breasts, small waist, and a bubbly ass. She was wearing a light pink Fire Nation shirt, pink wrist bands on either wrist, light pink pasts and a dark pink skirt with black shoes
"That would be my friend." Naruto answered, getting her attention.
"Oh well he's a cutie and who are you handsome?" She flirted with a smile and a wink.
"Naruto is my name my dear. May I know your name?" He asked with a smile getting smile back from her.
"I'm Ty Lee. What about the adorable fox and turtle? I take it you're here for the circus?" She asked with a bubbly smile.
"Nice to meet you as well. The fox's name is Kuram and the turtle is named Isobu. We've been enjoying it here all day and have had a good time seeing what there is to see. We just don't have tickets to see the last show with the acrobatics." He frowned.
"Oh no worries about it Naruto! You can have this ticket for the show. I look forward to seeing you there, cutie." She winked leaving with a sway in her hips.
"Kit, you should go after her!" Kurama shouted.
"I don't normally agree with my brother on anything, but he's not wrong about her." Isobu agreed.
"She's not the only one either you know as Katara and Suki have shown feelings for you." The fox pointed out with a grin.
"I can't. If I ever were to find a way home, I couldn't ever ask them to leave their homes to go with me. It wouldn't be fair to them." He argued with the two Biju.
"And if they would want to go with you?" Isobu asked.
"Let's head to the show, so we aren't late to it." He said ignoring the question, not wanting to think about it as he'd think it would be better if they didn't go with him for their safety.
As much as he liked and cared for the girls he had gotten to know, he knew they'd be happier in this world than in his and could never bring himself to take them away from their homes even if it was for him. For now he'd just go watch the show and forget about it for the time being.
He had enjoyed Ty Lee's performance finding her incredible with how flexible she is and her skills showing how often she practiced to get them to where they were today. Kurama had teased him throughout it when he'd catch him staring at her ass and eyes.
When the show was over, Naruto wanted to congratulate her personally, so he went to her tent having been told where it would be. He could see her behind a changing wall of sorts changing her clothes.
"You were incredible out there, Ty Lee. It was an impressive display of skill you showed." He smiled at her with her returning it.
"THank you Naruto. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Your aura is just so bright it's making me so happy. Where are the cute animals that were with you earlier?" She asked wanting to see the Biju again.
"They're off making sure we have everything for when we leave." He answered.
"Oh. I was hoping to get to spend more time with you. It's not too often that I meet many boys my age like you." She said dejectedly.
"Huh?" His dumb response came out.
"Hehe. You're cute." She giggled.
"I. I don't know." The blonde said unsure of what to do.
"Please stay for the night." She begged using the one thing no man can ever resist or counter. The dreaded puppy dog eyes jutsu.
"You should just stay Naruto. She seems like she could use a friend." Isobu said in his mind.
"You also can't refute that, besides why not stay for the night? You could have some fun for once with someone else." Kurama suggested. "That and she's using puppy eyes that no one can beat." He mentally said to himself.
"You won't stop until I agree with you?" He asked with a sigh.
"Nope." She grinned widely.
He sighed, but smiled at her. "Alright alright you win." He said not wanting to hurt her feelings, but wasn't surprised for what she did next.
She jumped at him with a big hug enveloping him while smiling widely excited to have a friend with her even if it was for one night.
"Yay! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." She repeated while also using the chance to feel his chest. "Hmm I like what i'm feeling here. It feels like he has abs made of stone." She said to herself with a smirk.
"What did you have in mind for tonight?" He asked her.
That was the start of a friendship and the night went out like that. They stayed late talking to each other and getting to know one another. He liked how open she was, happy, and bubbly she could get.
Next Morning
Naruto was getting all of his things together with Ty Lee, wanting to see him off, still sad about her new cute friend leaving.
"Do you have to go? I just made a new cute friend." She complained as tears formed in the corner of her eyes.
"Hey, no need for those tears. We'll see each other again. I have a feeling it'll be soon too, so we can hang out again like last night. I do have something I want to give you." He wiped the tears away with his thumb pulling out a tri-pronged kunai.
"What's this?" She asked, confused.
"All you have to do is throw this into the ground and I'll know immediately to come to you." He handed it to her as he hugged her before walking off with Ty Lee going back inside with a wide smile on her face.
Naruto made it back to the group's location when he saw them approaching him as he grinned at them.
"So?" He asked, confusing them.
"So what?" Katara asked.
"How'd it go with your friend Bumi?" He laughed seeing their reactions.
"EH?!" They shouted at the same time.
