I got his with an epiphany and I love it...
A new timeline yes, but this one fixes issues I had before.
New Rules, no Hinata. I love her, but I am not good at writing her...
I need to write what I am good at, what I like, not just what people want.
So this is that.
I realized something, if you can graduate at five and six, why could you not work at the hospital?
I also tend to not flesh out the past more, I am fixing that.
Mika- Age Eleven, one year before graduation.
"Are you sure, Mika?" The wizened Hokage started, looking at the boy before him curiously. "Becoming a medic is a hard path, so few try and even less manage it."
Mika sighed. "Lord Hokage, I am without a clan. I know that means I will never have a specialty, not like the tracker Inuzukas, the Taijutsu heavy Hyuuga, or the Interrogation geniuses among the Nara. I need a path, one to shine and offer the greatest service to the village."
"But being a medic?"
"I am really smart, Lord Hokage, and my chakra reserves are not high. I know this, all to well. Being a medic doesn't require massive reserves, it requires control and intelligence. I can give both. I know it is not advisable to work as a medic and as a academy student, but many students have graduated early. Your own students graduated at six! We allow ninjas to slaughter young, why not heal?"
The Hokage froze, then smiled warmly. "From the Mouth of Babes indeed... you are wise beyond your years." He looked at Mika's test scores. " Your the most academically gifted of your year, and you have high scores elsewhere... Very well, but I will only authorize three days a week, for no more than four hours a day, so you do not lose your training and studying. I will also allow you to work an eight hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday, so you can get the income you deserve."
Mika bowed low. "You honor me..."
Filling out Mika's paperwork, the man froze. "You have been working as a volunteer at the hospital for three months. How long have you been planning this?"
"Since I become a ninja, when we first read on the clans. I saw how much of a disadvantage clanless ninja were at, especially when I saw how far ahead the clan kids were physically. It was no contest. This is my ace in the hole."
"Very wise, you remind me of my old mentor, Lord Second."
Mika beamed. "He and Tsunade are my idols! That means a lot!"
"Take this to Iida sensei, and go with my blessing."
Mika all but sprinted away, all the way to the hospital. He made it to the desk and crowed. "I got my approval!"
Iida sensei, who was standing behind the desk, gaped at him. "Lord Third allowed this?" he looked at the stamped paper.
Mika nodded. " I was persuasive, brought up the Sanin graduating at Six."
Sighing, Iida smiled. "Well, let's get you started. Come on kid. First step is assigning your educational material then testing your chakra control."
And just like, Mika's path to greatness started.
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was a joy to write.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
Mika.
