From This Moment On-Ch 6
When the rest of the team arrived Derek and Reid were looking over a mineral map that was currently hanging on the bulletin board that one of the officers had brought in earlier, they were standing there checking out the several different areas that had the same kind of clay mud that Derek and Reid had found earlier at there crime scene, they turned around when Dave led the rest of the team into the room. Hotch said, "okay what have you been able to find out?", Reid said, "well there are several different areas all over this part of the state that have this same mud".
Emily said, "what about the other part of the state?", Derek said, "you have two, one here and the other here" as he pointed to the places on the map. Reid said, "but here, here, here and here are all in a 5 mile radius of each other, so my bet is that he's kidnapping the women and taking them to one of these places with them".
Hotch said, " what about this area here" as he pointed to an area several miles out of town, Reid said, "it's possible that he would take them out of town so that if they somehow managed to get away from him that he'd be able to catch them before they could get to one of the many backroads in this part of the map".
JJ said, "so what we need to do is start checking these areas to see if there has been any traffice in any of these areas recently, right?", Dave said, "this is the best break we've had so I say that we get some of the officers help us and we start checking", Hotch nodded his head in agreement and said, "I agree Dave, I agree" as he turned around to walk over to talk to a group of officers that were standing in the middle of the room talking.
Derek looked back at the map and said, "if baby girl were here she's be able to help us, she'd have it narrowed down in no time", Reid grinned and thought to himself, "she's closer than you think Morgan, closer than you think" as he excused himself from the room and pulled his cell from his belt.
As JJ and the others watched him walk away they wondered where he was going and who he was going to talk too, Derek looked at JJ and said, "what's up with pretty boy, he's not himself today", JJ blew out a deep breath and said, "I wish I knew Derek, I truly wish I knew what was going on with that husband of mine".
Penelope had just laid Hank down when her cell started ringing, she smiled down at her son and then turned around and headed out of the nursery to grab her cell. She grinned when she saw Reids number flashing on her ID, she hit talk and said, "hello boy wonder" causing Reid to smile wide.
Reid said the words that she had missed so so much as he said, "Garcia we need you, we need your help"
