I'm having SEVERE writers block right now, but I want to at least give you something so here. This is a character breakdown about their personalities, relationships, and situations so far in the story, so basically just a refresher for you and I. Enjoy!

LINUS

Linus recently returned to his little home town from his old private school in Brooklyn with questions that had no answers. Linus is a reckless, romantic, honest, and thoughtful guy. He often conceals his emotions and prefers to observe his surroundings silently. As a child Linus couldn't fully understand his emotions but over the years he's been able to read his face and even others faces too. His old tormenter used to be his sister, although they've learned to love each other so much more now. Linus is very overprotective over his sister, he wants her to by happy and safe. Linus has an instinct to protect everyone he loves and cares for. He has so much love for Sally he just wants to shield her from the cruelty of the world, he wants her by him, he wants her to know how much he loves her. But whatever he does is never enough, his mistakes push her away. He loves her, but has trouble expressing all of his love. Linus has grown out of the cautious boy he once was, he does things without thinking and doesn't really care in general, sometimes he comes off as harsh but he has a pure heart. Linus wanted to hold onto Sally, but when Eudora came into the picture he felt so much more noticed. Linus had so much stress and pain in his life that he couldn't express, he would calm down with all the wrong solutions. While in Brooklyn Linus picked up terrible habits like smoking and drugs, and with the extra pain of trying to be in Sally's life as something more than a friend or whatever they are right now was not helping. Now Linus just wants to put himself first for once, yet Sally still becomes a bigger priority no matter what he does. Linus' parents travels around the world interviewing people on Talkshows, their children soon became an afterthought. During an armed robbery Linus' father was lost. It affected him for sure, but Linus never liked his father, he was a bitter man. Linus didn't want to be anything like him, although there are some habits and traits from his father that he can't shake. Linus dated Eudora in middle school, still remains as his biggest regret of all time, and also recently has dated Sally a few months back.

SALLY

Unlike Linus, Sally hasn't changed much. Even though she's grown you can still see the little girl she once was. She holds onto that. Sally is a sweet darling girl, she uses charm to get her way but mostly tries to stay true. Sally often thinks of her herself more than her loved ones, but that doesn't mean she loves them any less. She was very close with her brother in her early years, although he's been very distant recently, hardly even speaking to her or their old mutual friends. Sally still cares for her brother but he turns a blind eye back to her. Sally has loved Linus since she was a little kid, the love had never faded nor lessened. She's dated people but never without thinking of him. Sally has gone through plenty boys, she dated Franklin from 6th-7th grade, nothing more than two kids sending each other red heart emojis. She dated Pig Pen and Harold Angel in 9th grade both didn't last longer than a month. And recently this year she's dated both Schroeder and Linus. Sally's parents have been with her all her life. Her mother loves her more than she loves herself she tries to protect her, but unfortunately there are something's she can't shield her from. Like her father. Sally's father has done unspeakable things to Sally leaving her mentally traumatized and physically scarred. Life is hard for her, she wants to keep a guy but her emotional baggage tends to push them away. Linus was the only one willing to stay with her through everything.

LUCY

Lucy is still a stubborn, arrogant girl like how she was all those years ago, but in a way she's matured. She's a more self aware and caring version of herself. She doesn't do things for anyone other than herself. Like Sally she could never keep a boy, but it's not baggage, she just has trouble with empathy and thinking of others in a relationship, she worries to commit to someone she could never genuinely love forever. Lucy has never had a proper boyfriend before, not including hook up partners or valentines. Her and Schroeder are forming a proper relationship, although Lucy fears to officially label him her boyfriend, she doesn't want to ruin what she has, but Schroeder isn't on the same page. They want to be with each other, but before they can they need to compromise. Lucy's parents are never around, being the oldest she has been taking care of her siblings for as long as she could remember. Her fathers death took a big toll on her, her father was the one person she begged to gain validation from, and in addition when he died they didn't leave off on good terms she has always blamed herself in a way.

SCHROEDER

Schroeder is a mature, collected guy. He knows what he wants and he knows what's best for him. He tries his best and stays calm no matter what happens. Schroeder is a very charming guy, which allures many woman, as someone who isn't very good at saying no he has a couple of girlfriends. He had a long term girlfriend Frieda for a while, he could never get around to truly loving her but he tried his best to make her happy until they ended on horrific terms. He also dated Sally for no more than a month. Both girlfriends he could never love. You'd find it awfully shocking that someone as perfect as Schroeder could possibly ever love such a chaotic girl like Lucy but nothings impossible, she's the only girl he's truly had eyes for. He loved her imperfections and her determination to be his. Schroeder is very distant from his family, he doesn't have any siblings and lives far away from his family, he drives his own car and pays bills.

There are plenty more characters in the story so far but I don't think I've explored their traits and overall life yet to add them here, I might make another character breakdown of smaller characters but for now these are the four that I'm going to pay attention to. Chapter 15 should be coming out very soon, I'm sorry if my writing is slowing down my flow has been off ever since school started
