Okay, to be fair, this year has been crap for me. If anyone has been keeping up with my other stories

BUT ALSO!... A BUNCH OF YOU HAVE BEEN PISSING ME OFF!

Not saying all of you, just some. As I said in chapter 1, chapters are posted when they are done. There is no scheduel, the chapters take a while and I only have so much time in the day while also having IRL and other stuff as well, ANd some of you have been baggering me in PM's and reviews of not just MY other stories but other stories I have co-written that are on OTHER PEOPLES profiles.

Just... dick move.

So... simple message. Each time I get a "When is the next update" or "please update" or ANYTHING along those lines... it adds an extra week before I even START on the next chapter.

I did know how the New Vestroia battle system worked. The 'no ability limit' meant for the entire brawl, not each round. Which was the limit in the OG game. I am not a big fan of the New Vestroia game format in terms of story telling or as a game in and of itself, especially since they kept it the same into Gundalian Invaders and continued with it in Mechtanium Surge. I feel like it would have been cool if each season had a new format
The early stuff will be easier, that was part of the point. But do not worry, I do have plans for later.
And Mylene... wasn't really loyal. She was preparing/thinking of betraying the Royal Family herself before she died, she was jsut sneakier about it. She is an 'all about herself' kind of woman. She's not any worse than Spectre, at least. Also, she is not as harsh in the Japanese version

darthwolf: Honestly it never made sense to me why Helios was SO STRONG. Same with the other Bakugan in New Vestroia. Hydranoid and Drago had to go through so many battles and trials, and when they evolved into the two 'Ultimate Bakugan' that was seen as the untold pinicals of power at 550G's. And then here is Helios, who starts at 600G's and is always 100 G's higher than everyone else even though they keep getting magical power ups to evolve to levels apparently never seen before.

Outside of Billy with Julie (which is a relationship I hated because of how forced it was and how much of a dick Billy is) NONE of the relationships you have mentioned are even things in canon. The wiki has SO MUCH headcanon and fanshippy BS EVERYWHERE it is insane (like saying Masqurade was inspired by Stacey from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger... which came out two years ago). Shun and Alice are just a popular ship because Shun is a bad boy and Alice is shy, it is a generic shipping trope a LOT of fandoms do. And Mira DID NOT have feelings for Ace, Ace was bloody SIMPING for her the entire time. And don't get me started on Ren and Fabia...
Heck if you watch the Japanese dub it is clear that Mira and Fabia both have things for Dan
As for why it is a harem story? ... Because I want it to be? I am an indescicive bitch when it comes to choosing pairings because I like too many so I just decide 'fuck it, doing them all'. I try not to, just always ends up happening in the planning phase. Also I find them fun to write so... why not.
And finally... it comes across as very rude to advertise your own damn stories in your reviews to other people dude.

Chapter 2
Rage Of The Quiet Darkness

The desert winds blew through New Vestroia as the Bakugan Battle Brawler's stood there with their new ally. Mira, a Vestal turned against her own people to form a resistance against the enslavement of Bakugan. Now with help on their journey, both parties where feeling a new sense of hope

"So, Mira. I am guessing from your bike that you where either doing patrols, or you came out to help us and your base is a bit far from our location?" Marucho asked, pointig at the girls white bike

"Right you are, Marucho. And unfortunately, I could only carry one of you safely. Or at least that's as many I'm really comfertable taking with me on it." Mira nodded, her eyes flicking over the group

"Oh, that's just great!" Dan huffed "How are we supposed to get there now?!"

"I'm NOT walkig!" Runo grumbled in annoyance "Not bike distance."

"Now you two, calm down." Alice encouraged

"Mira, do you have another option?" Chan asked

"Actually... I think there may be." Mira commented as a glint filled her eyes "Dan, could you give your Gauntlet to... Sorry
It was Chan Lee, wasn't it?" The Subterra red head asked for clarification politely

"Yes." Chan nodded

"Give it to Chan? Why?" Dan asked as he removed the Gauntlet, passing it over to the girl without argument anyway

"Simple." Mira stated while equipping her own "If she and I Power Strike our Gauntlets, we could summon Drago for her and the others to ride while you ride with me."

"I. Am NOT a taxi!" Drago snapped

"Sure you're not, Drago?" Dan laughed

"We don't have any other choice. Wilda can't carry all of them safely, and he can't fly for long." Mira countered

"Plus, I'm not that fast. And we need to hurry if we are going to do this." Wilda added

"But why can't Dan do it and be on Drago's back?" Runo glared

"Because I need to teach him about the Gauntlet, battles and our enemies." Mira countered "He's the only one of you with a partner Bakugan, after all. So he needs to know all of this right away. Meanwhile, you call can afford to wait a little while."

"That does make sense." Marucho nodded

"Come on buddy, what do you say?" Dan smiled down at Drago

"Fine." Drago hissed reluctantly, jumping over to Chan's hand

"Thanks buddy." Dan nodded as he held out his Gauntlet to Chan as well

"Thank you Dan." she nodded, being sure it was properly attached

"So you press this button and..." Dan muttered, giving Chan a quick run down of what he had learnt about the Gauntlet

"Thank you." Chan nodded, turning to Mira "I am ready."

"Good." the resistance leader nodded as she set up her Gauntlet and raised it up, Chan copying her

"Gauntlet, Power Strike!" the two cried out, their Gauntlet's glowing powerfully

"Bakugan, Brawl! Stand, Drago!" Chan called out while perfoming a few quick martial arts poses before she gave a throw of her hand, a flash of light bursting out from the small ball. Flames rushing into the air, as Neo Dragonoid took to the sky

"GRAAAAAAH!" Dragon roared, flapping for a moment, before landing. Lowering his head down he gave out a soft, but embaressed, growl as he just waited.

"Thank you Drago." Chan commented as she got onto the dragons back

"Yeah, like, thanks!" Julie waved, following

"We are sorry that we need to do this." Alice bowed

"Yeah, what she said." Runo grumbled

"We will try not to move too much!" Marucho added, getting on last

"Yeah, whatever." Drago sighed as he slowly stood up to his full height. Being careful not to jossle anyone too much as he stood tall

"Let's go. We don't want to take too much time." Mira said as she took her place atop her bike, slipping her glasses into place

"Y-Yeah. Cool shades." Dan nodded, getting onto the bike behind her.

"Be sure to hold on tight." She teased, feeling the earthlings arms wrap around her waist

"I'm sorry, what was tha-" Dan asked before the bike suddenly took off. Dan helping as his grip tightened, feeling the leather tight against his skin as he pulled in close

"Let's go, Drago!" Chan called

"Right." The Dragonoid nodded before his wings gave a mighty slash, rising into the air with powerful wing beats. Slowly raising up moment by moment

"Don't let them get too far away. We don't know how far this field can go." Alice pointed out

"And I want to make sure that skank isn't trying something with Dan!" Runo hissed

"You know Runo. You need to make your mind up." Julie deadpanned "Either make it official with Dan and keep it that way or stop being so jealous."

"What?!" She snapped angrily

"Can we talk about this later." Marucho asked with a sweat drop

Down bellow, Dan was taking in the view of New Vestroia. It seemed so... so baren. Even for a Subterra part of the planet. Anger filled him as he frowned, his grip tightening around Mira "Careful handsome, might bruise me if you're too rough." Mira commented slightly playfully... because she had to admit, he was being a bit too tight in the grip. His strength was definatly impressive

"Sorry." Dan sighed, missing the flirtation in her voice as he loosed his grip "So... the Gauntlets?"

"Seems more important for you tell you the rules." Mira chuckled

"I worked out most of them." Dan commented "Only one gate card at a time. Bakugan can be reused in different rounds unless they are stolen, which happens when the difference is 500 or more G's. And abilities are reusable between rounds and you can use as many as you want."

"Mostly correct." Mira smiled "While abilities are unlimited, each player can only use a maximum of three abilities per Bakugan per round."

"That explains the Double Ability. Let's you use multiple abilities in the round." Dan hummed and nodded "Don't worry, I've got it."

Mira smiled at those words. Impressed at how quickly the human was picking all of this up. Silently enjoying the feel of his arms around her, and she wished she could actually spend some time looking at him. Mira would slap herself about this later, she knew, but she was a woman. She could appreciate a handsome specimen, she just had to control herself later.

"So... the gauntlet?" He asked, snapping her out of her thoughts "It can do morw than just Brawling, right? And how did it change colour like that?"

"Right." She laughed softly "Well, you see they have a lot of functions..."

Back up in the air, atop Drago, Julie was looking rather upset. Looking down at the rocky ground, the perfect Subterra enviroment, with almost hollow eyes...

"Gorem..." Julie whispered sadly

"Hey, it'll be okay Julie. We can get him back." Runo encouraged "Him, Tigrera, everyone!"

"But these Vestals... they defeated all six of our Bakugan." Marucho mumbled "They're powerful and... and..."

"Hey, we can't give up before the fight even starts!" Chan urged "We can do this!"

Alice was silent as she lowered her head. Trapped in thought as she closed her eyes. Too busy... thinking. Thinking about Hydranoid. Of their battles. ... and of her past self.

"Are you okay, Alice?" Drago asked calmly

"Yes. Thinking about Hydranoid and how we can save him." Alice said honestly and passionately

"Wow. That therapy did you good, girl." Runo praised

"Thank you." She nodded with a smile as the group approached a large white building. A massive almost temple like structure painted bright white with some blue stripes down the side and a red stripe down the middle

"Wow! That place is awesome!" Dan praised as the neared the building

"Welcome, to the base of the Bakugan Resistance." Mira said proudly as she slowly brought the bike to a stop

"Wow! So cool!" Dan commented. At the front of the building, a young Male Vestal was rushing out of the base, waving his hand back and forth in an eager excitment

"Welcome back!" He yelled out to them as Mira came to a sudden stop right in front of him, causing the young man to gasp and jump back in shock. Drago landing and letting the girls off certainly not helping. The young man had pink spiky hair wrapped behind a red bandanna with a yellow lightning bolt and yellow circles, light blue eyes; a white and gold sleeveless jacket with yellow buttons and dark yellow cuffs; white trousers with black-edged protection on his upper thighs and shins, black bracers under sky-blue gloves and boots with yellow lines.

"Hello, Baron." The beautiful woman greeted as Baron stared at the new arrivals, his eyes sparkling as Drago reverted to ball form, Chan passing along the Gauntlet and the shrunken Bakugan back to Dan silently "Let me introduce you to our guests." Mira tried to introduce only to be ignored immediately, as Baron jumped up and ran up to the Humans, filled with complete awe.

"THE MASTER!" He exclaimed breathlessly, his voice eager and joyful.

"M-m-masters?" Dan stutted.

"I think he fell on his head." Marucho stated, the group all surprised the Vestal could hold all of them at once

"SInce when are we masters?" Runo asked, Chan and Alice shrugging while Julie gave a little giggle. None of that stopped Barron however, not even got a second, and he continued to celebrate and cheer as Mira facepalmed.

"Oh Baron." She sighed

"I know exactly who you are! All of you! Dan Kuso, Marucho Marukura, and Runo Misaki! Julie Makimoto and Alice Gehabich as well! The Bakugan Battle Brawling Masters!" he then stood at attention and properly introduced himself. "I'm Barron, at your service." He stated, bowing politely. Dan gave a small, nervous chuckle in response.

"H-hi, Barron." He greeted.

"Pleased to meet, I think." Marucho stated, nervously laughing and the group one by one shook his hand... until he came to Chan Lee, blinking in confusion.

"I didn't think Shun Kazami was a girl..." Baron muttered, causing Chan's eye to twitch

"Chan Lee. Second best Pyrus Brawler in earth and friend of the Brawler's." She deadpanned, holding out her hand "Pleasure."

"No no no, The pleasure is all mine!" He said as he quickly shook her hand before stopping to let go "Any friend of the Masters is a friend of mine!"

Meanwhile, Drago was flapping his sphere wings to stay in the air. The Pyrus Bakugan gave a small laugh at Baron's excitement, who stared at the Bakugan in sheer amazement.

"No way..." baron muttered in awe

"I've never seen anyone so happy." Drago joked as Barron gasped and ran up to him.

"And you must be, Master Drago!" He cried, hopping onto the backs of the downed humans, who yelped in anguish. Then, Barron realized what he did as Drago floated down from the sky.

"That's me." He replied as Barron gasped aloud.

"I can't believe I embarrassed myself!" He said, hopping away and apologizing profusely for what he had done. Mira gave a small giggle and looked at the Bakugan and Humans with a smile.

"You'll have to excuse Barron." She said as she slowly stepped off the Bike, missing the pile of Human right next to her. "He's one of your biggest fans. He knows all about how you saved Vestroia and created New Vestroia. He even has a poster of you on his bedroom wall."

"I'm... not even gonna ask how that's possible." Marucho pointed out

"We better get royalties." Julie grumbled

As Mira sighed and the others muttered to each other, Baron and Dan began to have a chat. As they spoke, Dan began offering to teach the younger Brawler a few strategies types. You could almost see the Pyrus Brawler's head inflate as he spoke

"Great. Like Dan's ego wasn't big enough before." Marucho sassed to the other Brawler's as Dan's laughter caught their attention.

"Some things never change." Drago chuckled.

"You can say that again." Chan said, shaking her head good naturedly while she crossed her arms in judgement

"Leave it to me." Runo commented as she walked towards the two, cracking her knuckles "I'll help get his ego in check..."

"You might want to look away." Alice whispered to Mira

The leader of the resistance raised an eyebrow... before her eyes widened in horror as the sound of smacks and tells and Dan's howls of pain called out. Eventually she could fully focus on them again, seeing Runo sitting on the ground calmly, Dan's head atop her shoulder with his eyes reduced to spirals and a large wound on his head. While Baron was on his back wearing a dunce cap

"All done!" Runo called as she gave Dan's heads a few soft, gentle pats "Don't worry, I won't let that nasty ego of yours get in the way." She whispered to him supportingly, giving him a peck on the forehead... while glaring at Mira out of the corner of her eye

"Thanks Runo... I guess?" Dan mumbled as he tried to gather himself

"S-So, where's Ace?" Mira asked, trying to change the subject as she felt a chill run down her spine

"Ace? Like... who's he?" Julie asked

"Ace is the final member of the resistance... I'm afraid before you six arrived, it was just the three of us." Mira admitted with a flinch

"Don't worry. With us here, you've tripped your fighting power. It works out." Chan nodded calmly

"He said he had something to take care of." Baron responded as he came to, sitting up and rubbing his head, only for a voice to speak up and break the good mode

"Up here!" It cried out, causing the Humans, Bakugan, and Vestals to look up to see a Vestal in Darkus clothing and cyan hair.

"Wow~! Who's he? He's a cutie!" Julie asked, hearts quickly forming in her eyes as Alice and Runo sweat dropped

"R-Really, Alice?" Marucho asked awkwardly

"Ace!" Mira exclaimed as the Vestal clicked a rock along his teeth.

"So sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt your bragging." The now named 'Ace' sassed at Daniel, chuckling to himself as he did so. Ace was a 19-year-old boy, he had pale green-blue hair and cool grey eyes. He wears a purple long-sleeved shirt, with black and grey trimmings, vibrant blue trousers and black boots. He had an athletic build with a near-serious, almost scowling expression on his face. His tone was feel and mocking as he sneered down at the group

His actions and words definatly sparked a reaction as Dan snarled, clenching his teeth "What the hell's your problem, man!?" He asked as Mira stepped forward with determination in her eyes

"Get it together, Ace! We've got company!" She exclaimed dramatically "Stop being such a pain and show some respect!"

"Yea, Ace, don't you know who there guys are?!" Baron snapped "They are the Bakugan Battle Brawlers!... and their friend Chan Lee!"

"I'm starting to feel insulted by that addition." Chan grumbled with a frown

"They are the great heroes of earth who helped save the Bakugan three years ago!" Baron called

"Yeah, well, they can go back to where they came from!" Ace said, raising an arm upwards dramatically as he glared down at them. "We don't need their help! We'll free the Bakugan alone!" He commented smugly as Mira softened her gaze "We've been doing just fine without them getting in our way!"

"Ace…" She stated gently in disappointment

"You disappoint me, Mira. I thought you were a true Vestal warrior. That you were gonna make a difference." Ace sneered at her, looking down upon her as if she was an insect and not his leader. "Now you invite a couple of Earth dweebs to join the resistance?" he pointed at her angrily. "You're just a starstruck fangirl!"

"Watch it!" Dan growled as he took a step forwards "She's your damn leader, dude!"

"What about it?" He glared back

"It means you show her some respect!" Runo shot back simply

"Yeah, you don't just be rude to a lady like that! Especially when she's your boss!" Julie added with a nod

"They're right. Mira's the leader, she's in charge. She can choose who helps her and what path is best." Marucho nodded calmly

"You don't like it, hit the road." Chan added with her arms crossed "You'll only be hurting the team if you one, refuse help, and two, disregard your leaders orders for what you want to do. You'll just be more trouble then you're worth."

"Besides! We won't walk away if the Bakugan need us!" Dan barked, stepping forward once more, punching his fists together

"Well said." Drago responded as he landed on Dan's shoulder

"Everyone..." Mira blinked in shock at everyone's eagerness and support

"So cool~!" Baron whispered with stars in his eyes... while Ace just snarled at being talked down to

"Too bad! We don't need any of your help to rescue all of the captured Bakugan, humans! This is none of your business, so take your friends, and go home!" He yelled at the group again, glaring at them like they where dirt under his boot

"No, Ace." Mira stated, ordering him to back off as she stepped forward. The orange haired beauty taking a stand as leader as she walked towards them "To free the Bakugan, we need all the help we can get! We don't have time for one of your ego trips!" She said simply, chewing him out. Ace just glared before closing his eyes and taking a bit of a breath

"Just humor me." He began, opening his eyes with almost hate in his eyes. "The humans should prove themself." He said as he brought a hand forward and opened it, revealing a Darkus Bakugan held between his fingers. "What do you say, Master Dan?" He spat venomously.

"C'mon!" Dan said, exasperated as his eye twitched in irritation "Are you for serious, dude?!"

"Beat Percival and you can join the Bakugan Brawlers Resistance." Ace said, chuckling forebodingly. Dan simply laughed at the challenge.

"Drago?" He asked and the Pyrus Bakugan immediately jumped onto his shoulder "What do you think?"

"Oh, I don't know, what does your leader think? Who actually saw us in battle?" Drago smirked at his partner, the two turning to Mira with confidence

Mira blinked as the attention was turned to her, while Ace just frowned

"Hey! I'm the one challenging you here! What, you a coward?!" Ace snarled

"No. Mira is just the reistence leader. So she gets to chose. Not some arrogant punk like you." Dan said simply as he took a step forwards... and flicked Ace in the forehead

"Why you-" Ace snarled as he brought his fist back, ready to throw a punch... only for Mira to catch it

"Ace. That's enough." Mira chastised with a scowl "They are part of the reistence. Now get that through your head. Because let's be real. We can't beat the Vexos with just the three of us. Especially with our limited attribute coverage in comparison. And if we can't beat them, we have no hope of freeing the Bakugan."

"Tch. Whatever." He hissed, ripping his arm free of Mira's grasp

"So. I'm curious." Alice spoke, the first time in a while, as she brought the attention on herself "Why are you fighting against the Vexos? Aren't you all Vestals?"

"We're nothing like them!" Ace snapped angrily only for Baron to place a hand on his shoulder

"Ace, man, chill. Come on." He urged softly

"it's a... a long story, but I guess it's important for you to know exactly what happened." Mira sighed as she rubbed her forehead as she began her tale, hesitating for just a moment "But you might not believe it. Years ago, one day, Bakugan cards fell from the sky. As if by magic. And from them came, the Bakugan themselves."

"The same thing... the same thing with our world." Runo muttered in realisation

"Doctor Michael's dimensional transporter. It must have ruptured dimensions in more than one place, barriers between more than one world." Marucho theoriesed "Some Bakugan going to our world, some staying in Vestroia... and some to yours. Only... it just have been weaker. One way."

"Incredible." Julie whispered

'Grandfather.' Alice thought to herself, gripping her chest

"Our world... it was over crowded. Too over crowded." Baron mumbled "Lots of slums. Low income area. Not enough space for everyone, and the space that was available too valuable except for the tip of the top."

"So our king conducted and colonized New Vestroia as soon as he discovered it." Mira continued "Spreading our our overflowing population. Once the... we did not see, we did not know it was an invasion. But once it was finished, we build Bakugan Battle Arena's at the centre of our new cities so the Vestal population could enjoy our new 'pets'." The pure venom that flowed through Mira's tone at that last word was almost palpable. Sending shivers down Marucho's back, familiar fear clear as day, while the others knew not to question her on her clear distance for what had happened. No doubt in any of their minds, she was on their side and was disgusted with herself and her people

Baron and Ace both looked away. Baron's bead lowered in shame while Ace just gave a small 'tch' and refused to meet anyone's eyes. The same shame clear as day to all

"Everyone went crazy for the thrilling Bakugan Battles. Intense power, wild strength and skill. Tactics and destruction. A pure spectical the likes of which they had never seen in such a degree." Mira continued "Ticks selling like wild fire 24/7, you couldn't get one for the next six months if you tried.

"Heh. Those Vestals trading us as nothing but circus animals." Drago huffed with some venom slipping out once more "The Bakugan where all living in peace when you Vestals attacked, and now they are enslaved. Forced to battle for the amusement of the Vestal people, almost mindless beasts for the entertainment of others. How can you people be so cruel?"

Mira gave a small gasp at Drago's words while her eyes widened. Knowing those daggers where not sent at her, but at the population. However the sting was still real

"Hey! Shut it you-" Ace snarled

"No... no Ace. He's right." Mira stated calmly "But we... we didn't know. The people where never told the Bakugan are intelligent life. We where lied to, told they where no smarter than dogs or fish. And the people believed it. No kne questioned it. And neither... neither did I. Until that day."

"That day?" Chan asked

"My father... Clay Fermin. He is the head scientist of the Vestals, answering directly to the royal family. I went to visit him one day, surprise him. Spend some family time together, as he had been so busy with work... and I saw it. Saw him. Torturing a Bakugan. Making it scream... I heard it... I heard him talk." Mira commented as she hugged herself, remembering that horrifying memory as she looked down in shame "It made my whole world crash down around me as I realised the Monsters we are... as I saw him screaming in pain." Slowly she looked up and locked eyes with Alice, shame radiating from her strange blue orbs

It took a second, but Alice soon gasped and covered her mouth "N-No... no! It... it wasn't..."

"I'm afraid it was." She nodded "The Bakugan I saw... it was Alpha Hydranoid."

Silence tell upon the Brawler's. The group feeling... feeling sick at what had been told to them. About how one of their friends, the strongest of their partners besides Drago back when he was the Ultimate Bakugan, had been treated. Alice even shaking slightly

After letting everyone have a moment, Mira soon continued "I... I confronted my father that night. Demanding answers. Wanting... reasurance. I won't lie, I wanted him to tell me I was crazy. To make me believe we where not committing such a vast, unforgivable, sin. I asked him if we invaded. He just brushed... brushed it aside. Brushed it away! He didn't care. My father did not care. I did. ... and I was alone. But someone had to help the Bakugan, now. So I left and got with others who felt the same. Forming our team, naming it after the heroes from stories past. Hoping we could continue the legacy, starting the Bakugan Brawler Resistance. And we've been fighting to save your friends, all the Bakugan, ever since."

"But the Vexos Champions are really, really, strong." Baron added

"So some say." Ace scoffed

"Volt Luster is their top Haos Brawler, you've already met him. Nicknamed the the Demon of Light. Using the brilliant light of Haos to misdirect and weaken his foes." Mira explained further, looking at the Brawler's much calmer now that she was talking 'buisness'. Her eyes regaining that confidence as she walked back and forth a bit, pacing to take turns looking each of them in the eye

Her heels crunching the rock and dirt under them, the Subterra Mistress calmly one with her element as she spoke

"Lync Volan is their Ventus Brawler, you've already met him. He is willing to do anything to win, the power of Ventus being a storm meant to flatten his foes. He's nicknamed the Storming Soeed. Shadow Prove, nicknamed the Dark Executioner for his savagery and almost psycopathic tendencies, was their top Darkus Brawler, using the attribute to be as brutal and cruel as one could imagine." Mira continued

"Darkness is not evil." Alice hissed weakly "It is just a different form of strength. I'm going to... to... grrr!"

"Do what, Earth-girl? Throw a tantrum?" Ace mocked, making Runo and Julie glare at him

"Mylene Farrow, their leading Aquos brawler, is devious as she was cunning, nicknamed the Kiss of Death for her beauty as well as her efficiency as she used the waters pressure to rip through her foes without hesitation or chance at counter attack. Next is the teams number two: Gus Grav, a powerful Subterra Brawler nicknamed the Desert Wolf. Using the strength of the earth to wear down his foes with an unbreakable defence." Mira sighed, ignoring the obvious situation and just trying to get this situation done with. "Finally, there was the deadliest and their leader, Spectra Phantom, the #1 Pyrus Brawler. The Icey Flame. Undefeated, as cold and serious as he is deadly. The flames of Pyrus are used with unflinching confidence and unyeilding might. Together the Vexos are the masters of the six attributes."

"It must be hard... fighting your own people." Dan admitted

"I'm just glad there is honour among some of the Vestals." Drago states, looking at Mira and Baron

"That means a lot, coming from you." Mira smiled with a gentle nod "Now come along, there is much to see inside." She urged gently, the others nodding. Mira began to walk towards the base as Baron typed on his gauntlet, remote opening the door, as the six humans followed them inside

"Whatever." Ace hissed as he frowned, looking at the group of Brawler's walk into their base. Bititng down on another fruit pup as he glared at Dan. Following with anger in his eyes

The group was in awe as they looked at the base's insides. Passing so many rooms, almost as many as in Marucho's homes. It seems Mira slept on a different floor than the guys, a whole hallway dedicated to both genders. There was a gym, several computer rooms, the main command room with six driving stations and a massive meeting table and... just so much more.

"This place is... Incredible!" Runo whispered once again

"You'd never be able to get a place like this back home." Marucho commented "Not unless it was custom made!"

"I agree." Alice nodded with a chuckle

"Tch. Of course you humans are impressed with something like this. Your place is basically the boonies compared to Vestal." Ace smirked

Dan's eye twitched, preparing to send a comment back, only for Chan to put a hand on his arm. Blinking in confusion for a moment, the fiery Brawler looked at his fellow Pyrus user. About to ask the obvious question, when the martial artist simply shook her head in a way that said... No

Taking a deep breath, Dan nodded. Calming down as best he could

"Thank you for accepting us, Mira." Alice bowed to the Subterra Brawler "We would have fought for the Bakugan by ourselves, but having any and all the help we can get means the world."

"You are more than welcome. In all honesty, the sentiment is shared." Mira smilred down at Alice before looking at the humans "But I do have to ask... why are you all dressed like that?"

"Huh? Like... what?" Dan asked with a blink

"I admit, there is probably some level of fashion difference between Earth and Vestal, but your cloths do not look suitable for... this sort of mission." Mira explained "Much more casual, like a day out shopping or going to the park rather than hiking and fighting for your lives."

"Oh, that." Runo laughed "We... weren't exactly planning on coming here."

"Yeah. If Drago didn't, like, appear out of nowhere and tell us about this, we wouldn't even know New Vestroia was in trouble." Julie agreed "We'd probably be heading out for dinner."

"We didn't have time to prepare or get changed into anything appropriate." Marcho further clarified

"I see." Mira hummed... before she nodded "Alright. Luckily we have plenty of spare cloths, stuff we gathered in case we managed to recruit new members. Some sturdy Vestal wear. We have both male and female clothing in a variety of sizes, I'm sure you can all find something to your liking that fits."

"Oh my gosh~! That is, like, so totally awesome! It's like shopping without needing to buy anything!' Julie cheered as she tightly hugged Mira "Thank you, Mira! You are, like, the best, girl~!"

"I... thank you?" Mira responded awkwardly, from both the compliment and the sudden hug

"Oh, yeah. These humans are going to be such runway models." Ace deadpanned

"Dude, do you have to be so negative?" Baron frowned

"Well, let's go Marucho. Shouldn't take us too long." Dan stated, walking towards the rooms exit

"Right with ya, Dan!" Marucho nodded, following... and then the two came right back in "Er... where are these closest?" Dan asked with a sweat drop

"I'll show you all the way! Come in!" Baron grinned a she hurried out, leading the Brawler's out of the room

Leaving Ace and Mira alone in an awkward silence

"I can't believe you Mira." Ace hissed

"Ace." Mira stated, only for him to hold his hand up

"This is our fight. Our people, our sins! We don't need some damn outsiders coming in, messing everything up, taking the credit and lording it over us!" Ace hissed in a way that sounded very... insecure "We're doing this for the Bakugan, to fix our people's mistakes and to let us all live in peace! We shouldn't have more assholes like the upper class, the royal family and their ilk, making us 'pay them back' for 'helping save the Bakugan' for years!"

"It's because we are doing this for the Bakugan that we need them, Ace." Mira frowned calmly, not addressing the clear chip on her friends shoulder "We need as much help as we can. We are three screaming stones facing against a storm. We have no hope as we are. All we can do is gather our forces until we become a mountain that the storm just bounces off of."

"Tch." Ace scoffed as he stormed out of the room, growling under his breath

Mira let out a soft sigh as she watched Ace walk away, rubbing her temple in irritation

"Ta-Da!" Dan suddenly called, catching Mira's attention

"Huh?" She blinked as she looked up, paying attention to the Pyrus Brawler as he entered the room

"How do I look?" Dan grinned as he stood there proudly, showing off his new outfit. He was wearing a gold-trimmed long-sleeved overcoat and dark colored 'shoulder pads' on his shoulders. His sleeves went past his wrist, forming a slight upward V-shape, and under the jacket was a light blue sleeveless shirt. Along with that was a set if white pants with grey pinstriped patches on his hips that where outlined in blue. The bottoms of his pants where neatly tucked into his black boots and are supported by a white /blue belt with a square belt buckle, and he with those he had suspender-like straps on his waist with golden buckles. To finish the look he had black fingerless gloves nearly identical to the ones he wore all those years ago against Naga, protecting his plam

"I..." Mira started as her brain all but shut down for a few moments. The powerful, confident, leader of the resistance still being a young woman, just recently an adult and still dealing with hormones and feelings she was not use to. All her mind being able to process being how attractive she found the brunette... but she quickly caught herself with a slight pinch to her uncovered thigh, snapping herself free from these distracting thoughts, as she caught herself "It looks good on you." She said honestly, but neutrality

"Thanks! Haha, with these I'm more than ready to head into battle again!" Dan cheered

"If we are handing out compliments, I'll take one!" Marucho laughed as he walked out before the group, showing himself off proudly

Marucho's new outfit consisted of his normal crescent moon red-framed glasses. A light blue shirt under a darker blue button vest with a popped collar, golden clasps on the lapel and white detailing. Light blue gloves with white cuffs and golden clasps on the back of his hands. A pair of white three-quarter length shorts with grey thigh guards. And finally a pair of white boots with blue openings and edges around the toes, single golden stripes going from the top to the sole and two golden orb-like bumps on the sides.

"Wow dude, looking good!" Dan praised with a thumbs up

"Thank you." Marucho laughed "Not many cloths fit me, so I've had to make so adjust a bunch of them."

"Well, it turned out great." Mira nodded

"Yahoo~! Danny! Take a look at this!" Julie whistled, her voice echoing out from behind the doorway

"Huh?" The three blinked, looking up to see a long leg extens out past the door way before taking its place upon the fround. Julie quickly emerging out as she came strutting in with a super model, her hips swaying rhythmically as she held her arms high, showing off her while appearance happily

Julie was wearing a dark bronze jacket with a dark brown popped collar and shoulder guards, white rectangle pockets over her chest, white fingerless sleeved gloves, a black undershirt that covered her midriff, a green belt with a golden buckle, white trousers with grey protection going from her outer thighs to her calves, white boots with bronze clasps and yellow stripes down the top centre to the toes, on the back of the heel were single horizontal gold lines and slightly heeled.

"Soooo... how sexy am I?" She asked while stroking a pose and giggling

"Er..." Mira mumbled as a sweat drop formed at the silver haired girl's weird actions

"You look great Julie, no need to stress." Dan waved off non-challantly with a smile

Julie's eyes widened... and her head fell. A groan slipping out of her lips

"Huh? Is it something I said?" Dan blinked

"Dan. You are terrible with women." Drago stressed and laughed

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Dan snapped... and a familiar giggle rang out, Alice emerging next

Alice was wearing a bit of a stylish outfit. A pair of black shorts that barley reached her knees, a dark violet leather top that appeared almost like a jacket that flowed down to her knees, lilac boots and black gloves. The jacket/top combo being mainly a deep purple with light lilac around the stomach and shoulders with some black around the neck, the top having an almost turtle nexk design in a way, with a series of yellow buttons on the shoulders. There was a gap between the front lilac of her outfit and the black neck cover, the gap being literal as it was a slight cut out that some would describe as a clevedge window. The black gloves looked like silk and reached her elbows but left her fingers uncovered, while the lilac boots that where such a light shade they almost appeared white neared her knees with several fancy gold buckles. Finally her shirt/jacket, that almost seemed reminicent of the dress the others where use to seeing her in, had golden edges that flowed down her side

"You honestly never change, Dan." Alice responded with a gentle smile "It is always refereshing."

"Hehe, thanks." Dan laughed, rubbing his neck... before blinking "Hey, wait a minute-"

The others began to laugh together, the old friends enjoying each others company once more. Even Mira gaining a small smile at the sight

"Glad everyone is having a good time." Chan smiled as she entered... wearing clothes that where barley different than before. In fact, it was the exact same traditional bright red dress as before. A bright crimson silk dress with golden accents that left her arms completely bare, the dress stopping at her shoulders, with the skirt leaving most of her legs bare outfit the parts flowing down from the front and back. But with that was a jacket that stopped just under her ribs, without any sleeves. In fact it was better to call the article of clothing a jacket and more of a vest. The design similar, just smaller, than Dan's. Around Chan's waist was a yellow belt as well that loosely hung from her hips, a few pouches hanging from the material. And... well no one would be able to see, but she was not wearing some strong black lycra shorts

"Not your preference for clothing, Chan?" Julie teased

"All of it was too restrictive." She commented calmly "Need more mobility if a fight breaks out."

"You know, when I said you all needed to change cloths. Not what I meant." Mira commented as she looked at Alice and Chan

"Not everyone needs the same sort of outfits for this sort of thing." Chan replied "I'm a martial artist. Being like this is more comfertable for me."

"And I have some tricks of my own." Alice responded

"Yeah, don't worry about it Mira, they-" Dan smiled... only for his voice to leave him and his eyes to blink repeatedly

"Huh? Dan? You okay partner?" Drago asked as he opened upon Dan's shoulder, poking his cheek a bit. Getting no response he followed Dan's eyeline and laugh "Oh, I see."

Standing in the doorway... was a blushing Runo

Runo was wearing a white shirt with black segmented sleeves and golden cuffs, a bronze-coloured gilet with padded shoulders and grey padded side guards. White trousers with the same protective guards on her thighs and calves, around her waist was a lengthy blue belt with golden studs and clasp and rested on her hips in the shape of an 'X'. Black tall boots with golden rings on the top of the sleeves and at her ankles with golden orbs. On Runo's arms were long brown sleeves not connected to her shirt, and white fingerless gloves with a golden rectangle on the back of her hand.

"Is... er... is this good?" She asked awkwardly

"You look great, Runo!" Julie praised

"Definitely more what I had in mind." Mira sighed

...

"Wow..." Dan sighed "Runo... you look cool!" He said with a grin, his lips curling up as he was lost in the cucna haired beauty

"You... you really think so... Dan?" She asked in embaressment

"Yeah. Not hiding you're a girl at all while still being awesome!" Dan grinned in praise... and Runo's eye twitched

"You-" she hissed... and sighed, accepting the compliment "Thank you Dan... that means a lot."

"Of course!" Dan cheered as he hugged Runo, pressing her face against his chest

"Mmmm." she grumbled with a blush... and a small smile, as she ran her hand over his chest

"So... where is Baron? He kinda ran off after showing us those massive closets." Julie asked

"Wanna rephrase that?" Chan deadpanned

"No, why?" Julie blinked

CRASH!

"I'M HERE! I'M HERE! SORRY I'M LATE!" Baron yelled as he rushed in, barley holding several balls

"Huh?" the humans blinked

"What's that?" Marucho asked, tilting his head

"The few Bakugan we have managed to save and hide away." Mira explained calmly "We can't just leave them alone, after all, or the Vexos may capture them again."

"That makes sense." Chan commented "I guess you got us some help?"

"That voice... Chan Lee?!" a voice called from the balls, a Pyrus ball forcing itself free from the pile

"Wow-wow-wow!" Baron yelled as he did his best to not drop the other Bakugan as the singular excited one came rushing out of his grasp

"I-no way! Fourtress?!" Chan gasped as she saw the familiar figure emerging from the pile of Bakugan "Is-Is that really you?!"

"I-I should be saying that to you! You-You're here on Vestroia?!" The little being asked in shock... before it jumped up towards her, cheering loudly "Chan!"

"Fourtress!" Chan Lee cheered happily as she hugged Fourtress, pulling him close. Crying softly as she cradled the ball in her hands "I thought I'd never see you again..." she whispered with a gentle smile

"I feared the same, Chan. I feared the same..." Fourtress whispered happily

"Aww, that's nice." Alice admitted with a smile

"Yeah. So... so sweet." Julie whispered, sniffing

"A partnership is a special bond. And not one so easily broken." Drago stated wisely, smiling at Dan

"You can say that again, buddy." Dan nodded

"And I'm sure we will all be reunited with our friends again soon." Marucho agreed, Runo nodding in agreement while Baron looked at the group with sparkles in his eyes

Mira smiled at their words and as she opened her mouth to speak-

"Oh come on, you're gonna make me barf." Ace mocked as he leaned against the wallway, eating what looked like an apple

"Ace." Mira frowned "Didn't you storm out?"

"That was like an hour ago, Mira. Didn't expect your silly fashion show would take so long." he scoffed "Dinner's all cooked in there, when you guys are finished playing."

"Why you little-" Dan snarled, but Runo grabbed his wrist. The bluenette glaring at Ace too. In fact, she was trembling. Dan looked at her for a moment before nodding. Keeping his stance. The two holding each other back

"As I was saying." Mira sighed, nodding to Baron "These are the Bakugan we have gathered and saved. Most are not the happiest with people, humans or Vestal, so expect most to be silent."

"There we go." Baron spoke calmly as he set the Bakugan on the table... and most began to roll away a bit, avoiding the humans. Although some popped open

One was a light and dark brown Subterra Bakugan that had its arms pop out to the side as the top pops open and back, the arms folding down so the top halves of the ball have now became the hands with the literal top of the ball acting like shoulders. The feet extended out as normal for a Bakugan. The interrior had a monkey-like face with red and blue lines along it's cheeks with green eyes "I'm Babadrill! One of you, take me! I want crush those Vestals into thbe dirt! Again and again and again! Ohh-ah-ah-ah! Oooga! Ahh~!" the Bakugan cried out with a rather dramatic and powerful male voice

The second was a Haos Bakugan. A white and gold Bakugan that was shaking a little bit. The very top of the ball folds up to be a pair of rathert large ears, the sides falling forwards to be a pair offeet. Inside the revealed ball was a rather cute looking rabbit face with large innocent looking pink eyes "D-D-Do you all need help? I-I'm Th-Th-Th-Th-Thumpina. I-I can-can help..." the white Bakugan said with the voice of a shy young girl

And the final ball was a Darkus Bakugan, black and purple, which opened up into what looked like a two headed dragon. The upper half of the balls front split in four and spread out, the two on the sides forming what seemed like wings and the two parts that moved up high where very clearly dragon heads. At the bottom feet flipped out. The open middle bit revealing what looked like hands. The eyes on the left head had orange eyes and the eyes on the right had green eyes "I am Darkus Nillious, and we shall help you in your fight!" the Darkus said, the dark male voice almost echoing like it was two people speaking at once

"Hello." Runo said softly as she gave Thumpina a gentle stroke of the head with a single finger "You're certainly a brave one. I'm Runo, I'll be happy to work with you if you're sure. You don't have to push yourself."

"I shall do my best!" Thumpina smiled softly, bouncing into her hand

"All I can ask." Runo smiled as she gave Thumpina another pet

"Hey, I'm Julie! Nice to meetcha!" The dark skinned beauty smiled as she let Babadrill jump into her palms

"Nice to meetcha Julie! Now let's pound some heads! Oooh~! Ooki ooki! Ooh~! Ooh~!"

"Hell yeah! We're gonna smash those Vexos!" Julie cheered

"Hello Nillious. It is a pleasure to meet you." Alice bowed softly

"Alice, we can sense power from you! I am excited to work with you!" The left head of Nillious nodded

"Finally! Able to let loose and fight! We've been cramped in this form for so long, I felt like I was going to go crazy and fight ourselves!" The right head snarled

"Let's get along." Alice nodded, gently placing her new partner on her shoulder

"There are no Aquos Bakugan..." Marucho mumbled softly

"I'm sorry Marucho. The last of our Aquos Bakugan where lost in our last battle before you all arrived." Mira flinched "Ace did his best-"

"Hey! Don't put the blame on me!" Ace snapped "It's not my fault those Vexos Goons played dirty and had a few waiting in back for a surprise attack!"

"I wasn't! I said you tried your best!" Mira snapped back, turning to Ace with a glare "Any of us would have lost under the exact same circumstances, Ace! Not everything is a personal attack!"

"Whatever." He scoffed, crossing his arms

"Ace. I lost that battle as well. Loosing the last of our Ventus Bakugan!" Mira continued, ignoring his dismissiveness "If it wasn't for Dan, we wouldn't have any Ventus Bakugan right now! I fell into the exact same trap as you! You need to stop taking everything so personally!"

"I said I get it!" Ace snapped once more

"No, you didn't. And you don't." Mira stated simply before she pointed at herself, at Ace and then at Baron "Subterra. Darkus. Haos. Those are our specialities. Those are what we know inside out. We've had to play double duty, trying to adapt to play styles and situations we are not use to. Add on to the fact we where caught in a trap, out numbered. We where lucky to get away! So stop being so pig headed and selfish for five minutes, and understand not only that I am not attacking you, Ace, or your abilities, but also understand why we need help!"

"I SAID! I GET IT!" Ace roared at her, his eyes narrowing in rage as the tension rose

"H-Hey! Ace! Didn't you say something about dinner?! Let's go!" Baron laughed nervously, tugging on Mira's arm. Trying to drag her away and defuse the tension

"That's a good idea, Baron." Mira admitted as she kept up her glare, walking away "Let's go everyone."

"Oh~! Thank goodness, I'm starving!" Dan groaned

"You're always hungry." Drago deadpanned

"You know it." Dan laughed with a grin as the others sighed, following him out. Although Chan and Alice did giggle a bit

Ace was the last to leave, glaring for a few moments

"Oh my god~! This... this food is delicious~!" Dan cheered lightly as he scarfed down the food eagerly and quickly

"Daniel, slow down before you choke." Drago commented with a slight chuckle

"Bwahgagabwag." Dan asked with a mouth full of food before he began to choke, a hand slamming his chest

"Dan!" Runo called out in worry, slapping his back in worry "Dan, are you okay?!"

"Bwahka!" Dan yelled out, coughing loudly as his air pipes where freed "I... Y-Yeah. I'm... I'm fine."

"Good." Runo smiled... before snacking him around the head "So calm down! And slow down! You're gonna kill yourself!"

"Damn Runo, calm down!" Dan called with a laugh "I will, I will! Sorry!"

"Master Julie, please! Tell us another story!" Baron begged as he shook Julie's arm "Ooh~! Oooh~! How about-how about when you met Gorem?!"

"Barron, calm down, we're trying to eat." Mira deadpanned as she let her knife glide through the meat on her plate

"Oh fine." he huffed bitterly

"Mmm." Marucho flinched as he pushed his plate away a bit

"You okay, Marucho?" Chan asked

"Yes. This food is just... a bit spicy for my liking." Marucho commented

"Tch. No wonder. You humans much be so very weak to be unable to deal with a little spice." Ace scoffed

"Will you-" Dan hissed as he glared at Ace-

SLAM!

"Will you please just... SHUT UP!" Alice snapped, making everyone jump

"A-Alice! What-What the hell?!" Runo blinked in shock

"Huh?!" Julie and Chan asked in shock at the ginger girls outburst

"All you have done... everything you've said since we've come here! It has been to put us down! Belittle us! Insult us!" Alice wanted "And for what?! Because you have such a big ego at accepting any form of help?! Are you that self centered and arrogant?! Or are you just looking for a fight?!"

Ace blinked a bit before glaring, slowly standing tall "So what? You going to do something about it?" He asked with his head tomorrow

"You. Me. Brawl. Tomorrow." Alice responded with narrowed eyes

"Hehe. You think you can beat me with that weak Nillious, Earth Girl?" Ace mocked

"At dawn." She glared simply

"Fine." Ace laughed "Don't chicken out on me, human chick." Ace waved before walking away

Alice frowned as she took her seat against eating once more

"Oh, this is gonna be good~! Oooking! Ki! Okia~!" Babadrill laughed

"Are you sure that is wise, Alice? Ace is really tough! Maybe the strongest out of the three of us!" Baron warned

"I hate to admit it, and inflate his ego even the tiniest bit, but Baron is probably right. It's close, but I do believe that Ace is the strongest Vestal Brawler here." Mira sighed

"Oh, don't worry Mira! Alice's, like, totally got this!" Julie assured with a grin to her fellow Subterra Brawler

"Julie is right. Alice is almost as good as I am!" Dan said proudly while puffing out his chest

"Almost, Huh?" Alice smirked "It's been a few years. And therapy has helped me a lot. Who's to say I won't win, next time?"

"Any time, any where, Alice old buddy!" Dan winked with a laugh

Mira and Baron could only look in confusion and wonder at the groups confidence, but quietly accepting it

"Humans... Vestals... all so strange." Thumpina shuddered a bit

"Don't worry, you get use to them." Wilda laughed

"Alice and I will defeat that arrogant Ace! We will decimate him!" Nillious hissed powerfully, flipping a bit as he snarled

We cut away from that to a large throne room, where a 16 year old male teen sat atop said throne. His legs crossed, twirling a lock of hair, the young man had blonde hair that had a slight green tint to it, pale blue Vestal eyes and an arrogant smirk upon his face. Wearing a white military-esk suit, like that of a high ranking officer when off duty, with a large blue cape that reached via backside, the young man hummed to himself before a flash of light covered the window in front of him, the window that looked out on New Vestroia. Six figures appearing on the screen, bowing

"Ah, Spectra, am I to assume you are contacting me on your discovery?" The young man asked

"Yes, Prince Hydron." The one in the centre of the six figures, the mask wearing one named Spectra, said seriously. Spectra was a tall man, about 20 to 22, with a long blond hair that is spiked up. His outfit mainly comprised of a red mask and red leather coat decorated with black feathers. Underneath, he wore a pair of tan pants and Gakuran-like outfit fastened by gold Ouroboros motifs. He also wore ankle-high boots and white gloves. The red mask covered the upper part of his face. A small, blue iris appears on a black eye socket, with only one eyehole on the right side while he has no eyehole on the left.

Next to him was a man with long, wavy blue hair and green eyes. He had an orange jacket denoting his status as a Subterra Brawler, and standard Vestal attire worn underneath. He had tall brown boots and black fingerless gloves. This was Gus Grave, the Vexos Subterra Brawler

After him was Volt, the Vexos' Haos Brawler

Then there was a... strange looking man. Tall, thin, and naturally creepy with silver hair and red eyes. As well as red painted fingernails. Wearing black leather pants and a black leather top, the top having a large cut down to his stomach showing off his chest. Thick armoured grey boots with golden accents where on his feet. And be wore a large, thick and bulky purple leather coat that reached his knees with black shoulder poldrens with purple feather lining. The Darkus Brawler of the Vexos, Shadow Prove

Next to him was Lync, the Ventus Brawler of the Vexos

And finally there was the beauty of the team. A powerful looking woman with short blue hair and icy blue eyes. She wore a grey bodysuit of sorts with an armoured corset/chest combo, decorated with gold and gems. White pointed shows with gems and large heels adorned her feet. Her fingernails where painted blue, a deep navy like the ocean. She had a pair of black shoulder armour that held a blue cloak that flowed to her ankles, the cloak having a rather comfy looking interior. Mylene, the Aquos Brawler of the Vexos.

There where several moments of silence before Prince Hydron frowned "Well? I'm waiting!" He snapped

"S-Sorry sir!" Lync stuttered "It-The Bakugan we battled earlier today."

"The one you let get away." Hydron 'corrected' with a glare

"Y-Yeah. That." Lync mumbled "We-We have confirmed that is, in fact, the Dragonoid of the Six Legendary Hero Bakugan. Somehow seperated from the Perfect Core. Weakened, but still more powerful than a regular Bakugan."

"I see. So that is your excuse for why you lost?" Hydron asked/frowned

"W-What?! N-No! No!" Lync called in panic

"It was not just the Dragonoid, My Prince. Five of the original Battle Brawlers came through the portal with him to our world. Including his original partner, Dan Kuso. With our current arsenal, we where unprepared." Volt explained

"Excuses. I want that Dragonoid." Hydron said simply "And I want that resistance squashed. Is that understood?"

"Crystal, My Prince." Spectra nodded as the call ended

"Good." Hydron smirked as he tapped a few buttons and the wall behind him disappeared, revealing five bronze statues "After all... I do want a complete collection~!"

Behind him where the bronze forms of Alpha Hydranoid, Blade Tigrerra, Storm Skyress, Hammer Gorem and a singular statue that had Preyas and Preyas II back to back with Preyas II half way through his transformation between Angelo and Disable

"Soon~!" Hydron smirked before he began to laugh evily

*back with the heroes*

It was late at night, the moon high atop New Vestroia. Most of the Resistance, deep asleep

Dan was not, not yet. Lying in his bed, Drago next to his pillow. The leader of the Brawler's unable to relax. Unable to stop thinking. His fists silently clenching as he glared at the ceiling...

When the door of his room opened slowly

"Huh?" He blinked, sitting up... and seeing Runo walking in. The bluenette hugging a pillow, her hair down for once. The girl wearing just her underwear and a yellow nightdress that reached her thighs. Alongside the pillow, she also had her new Vestal gear

"H... hey Dan. I'm having trouble sleeping. Can I... sleep here?" Runo asked

"I... yeah. Of course." Dan nodded, only wearing a pair of red sleeping pants. Scooting to the side he let his... sometimes girlfriend slip onto the bed. One of her legs gently hooked around his, one hand resting on his bare stomach while she placed her pillow against his shoulder.

"Thanks Dan." Runo mumbled as she set Thumpina down next to Dan, before resting her head on the pillow

"It's fine, Runo." He whispered to her "What's wrong?"

"Just... new place. New bed. And... and learning everything. Too... too much. Just... need something familiar and comfortable." Runo admitted

Dan just hummed softly... wrapping his arm around her waist, kissing her forehead "Well I'm always here for you, Runo. You're not getting rid of me that easily."

"I know." Runo mumbled as she closed her eyes, a happy smile on her face "Night Dan."

"Night Runo." He whispered

*Elsewhere*

While the others where sleeping peacefully... we find Alice in her room. Nillious in her hand. The two having been talking for hours

"I... wow. You... you've been through so much." Nillious spoke

"You can say that, yes." Alice chuckled softly "But it helped me become who I am today. If we are going to be partners, we need to get to know each other after all. Trust each other. So... how about you tell me about yourself?"

"I... do not know myself." Nillious frowned as he lowered his head "I just... existed one day. In ball form, under some leaves. We... survived as best I could. Then one day... captured by Vexos, tortured. Made battle mad. Mira saved us before we caused damage. And now I want to destroy the Vexos!"

"You have amnesia?" Alice blinked

"I... guess so? We never really thought about it." Nillious blinked

"Well. You help me save Hydranoid, help me defeat the Vexos, and I'll help you work out who you are. Deal?" Alice grinned

"Deal... Alice." Nillious nodded with a smile "No... partner."

"Partner." Alice nodded with a smile, giving him some soft pets

*The next day*

The dawn has come almost too early. Too soon.

The morning sun raising over the desert as Alice and Ace stood in opposition to each other, both equipping a gauntlet. Identical to Mira and Dan's from the day before, only with purple detailing instead of the others respective orange and red

"You can still back out, girly. Don't want to scare you in this real combat." Ace mocked as he opened his gauntlet, holding its Charge Card ready

"We did real combat. We battled to save two worlds, likely yours as well if the old Vestroia kept destabilising. We battled with the power of the Infinity Core. Against the strongest beings the Silent Core itself could create." Alice responded as she readied her own gauntlet and card "You can back out if you want, pretty boy. You might get hurt."

"I don't remember the last time Alice got like this." Marucho commented as he adjusted his glasses

"I do." Julie shuddered "Sure the guy was a creep for grabbing her like that but a part of me feels sorry for him. I don't think a nose is supposed to crunch like that."

"I'm still not sure about if this is a good idea." Baron commented "Master Alice is the only one of the six Masters we've heard nothing about, other than the fact she inherited Alpha Hydranoid from Masquerade."

At that line, Dan and Runo shared a look and began to laugh

"What's so funny?" Mira inquisited

"What Baron said... it wasn't wrong. Just... missing some important facts." Dan laughed

"Just watch and learn." Runo grinned

"Quiet, they are staring." Chan chastised as everyone turned back to the two Darkus Brawler's as their Gauntlets closed

-Gauntlet, Charged- the devices spoke as one when their tray closed, purple light shining from the two powerful machines

"Power Strike!" both cried at once, energy rushing out for a moment

"I'll start!" Ace called as he threw his card down, the card embedded with the symbol of the Darkus element "Gate Card, Set!" and in a flash of purple, the card was absorbed into the ground "Let's show them what we can do, Percival!" Ace spoke to his Bakugan with a grin. His Darkus Bakugan flouting by his shoulder

"Of course." He nodded, turning into ball form as Ace grabbed him

"Nillious. It is time for our plan." Alice spoke calmly as she held out both hands, looking down at her small partner

"I won't let you down, Alice. We will rip Percival apart for you~!" Nillious purred before jumping a bit, turning into his ball form as he flipped

"No need to go that far." Alice chuckled softly with a smile, before she looked up at Ace. Her eyes growing cold and serious as both Darkus Brawler's readied their Bakugan

"Bakugan! Brawl!" they cried out, the two throwing their Bakugan as hard as they could

Both Bakugan where surrounded by a purple aura as they rushed through the air, everyone gasping as they realised what was about to happen

"They're gonna collide!" Baron yelled

BOOM!

A small impact echoed out as a tornado of purple energy filled the air. The sound of roars echoing out from the tornado as it shook, quaked and sparked...

BOOM!

"Gyaaahhh!" Nillious' voice echoed out as a figure fell out of the tornado, for just a moment, before it glowed purple and came rushing through the air

Nillious' ball form fell out of the air and clattered at Alice's feet as everyone looked on in shock, as a figure emerged from the tornado

Percival was a large humanoid dragonic like Bakugan. Looking like a dragon themed armoured knight wearing dark purple plating with lighter purple, almost pink, armour for his chest plate, shoulder pads, forearms and boots. The forearm armour being a pair of gauntlets modelled after dragon heads with red eyes and two yellow horns flowing down to his elbows, his shoulders having large curved yellow horn-like blades as well. Flowing from his back was a blue cape with a red interior. And his head was that of an armoured dragons with piercing red eyes and two more golden horns flowing off his head

"This isn't going to be much of a contest with how high my power level is already." Percival mocked before returned to ball form and rushing into Ace's hand

"That was fast." Julie blinked

"Percival is on the level of our Bakugan's first evolutions." Runo noted in worry

"We didn't even get to see Nillious' true form." Chan noted

"Don't worry guys, it'll be fine. It's Alice." Dan assured, the others nodding

'They have such confidence in each other... we... we kind of need that.' Mira thought

"I'm... sorry Alice. He was stronger than I thought." Nillious grunted

"It's okay Nillious. He surprised me to." Alice assured as she picked him up... and Ace began to laugh

"Oh come then, 'oh great master'!" Ace laughed "Because if that's the best you've got... you might as well just head on home and leave this to your betters!"

"You asked for it." Alice whispered calmly with a smile before she drew a card "Gate Card, set!" She cried out, throwing the card dramatically. A wave of purple rushing out into the surrounding area

"Bakugan! Brawl!" both Alice and Ace cried at once, the two Darkus Brawler's launched their Bakugan. The two balls quickly surrounded by purple energy once more as they rushed at one another

"Oh no! They're gonna collide again!" Julie gasped

"But if they do that, Nillious is just gonna lose like last time!" Runo added "What is she doing?!"

"Guys. Chill. She's got this." Dan assured

"Exactly." Drago nodded "We've faced her more than enough to know this isn't a mistake."

"Huh?" The others blinked, but listened. Looking close

shink~!

Only for the ball of Nillious to glide against Percival's. The ball rolling a bit, rushing past his fellow Darkus Bakugan. Sparks rushing off their forms as they rushed by

"Wow! She put a spin on it!" Marucho gasped

"Talk about skill." Chan nodded

"Skill?" Baron asked "It barley moved."

"Exactly." Dan grinned as Nillious and Percival stood. The purple tornado forming as Percival took to the sky

"Stand Nillious!" Alice roared

"Percival, Stand!" Ace called out as a large pillow of dark energy formed, watching his Bakugan raise once more... only to yell in shock as a figure appeared from a large purple flash and charged Percival

"Wha-Gah!" Percival yelled as he was caught by surprise, slammed against the wall hard suddenly

Standing before him was a giant black dragon with a long flowing tail. Purple scales flowed across his underside and the bottom of his tail, as well as down his legs. Powerful three clawed front legs emerged from the torso with some silver plating. Large black almost bat-like wings emerged from his back with purple markings across the flesh. And finally... two large draconic heads. Both with purple jaws, the right head having yellow eyes and two curled horns while the left had green eyes with a single bladed horn going back from the middle of its head

Nillious had taken advantage, knowing he would appear behind Percival, to attack from behind. He and Alice using the curved throw to get the drop on their opponent

"Graaa!" Percival yelled as he held off one head with his armoured gauntlet, the other trying to snap at his throat

"What the hell?!" Ace yelled in shock

Darkus/ Nillious: 400G's

"Ability Activate!" Alice suddenly cried as she slammed a card into her Gauntlet and held it up, the card glowing as the Gauntlet closed "Shadow Breath!"

"Try this!" The one free head snarled, letting out a must of black energy from his mouth. Unleashing a massive torrent of black and purple steam like it was exploding from a fog machine, covering Percival in its myasma

Percival: 450Gs - 250Gs

"Shadow Breath reduces your G power by 200." Alice explained simply

"Good to know." Ace snarled as he held his Gauntlet up "Double Ability Activate! Black Maiden, plus Darkus Thunder!"

A black aura quickly surrounded Percival as he smirked and pushed Nillious back, a purple lightning bolt striking the dragon while Percival yelled in power

Percival: 250Gs - 450 - 750Gs
Nillious: 400Gs - 200Gs

"Aaahhhhggggggg!" Nillious howled in pain

"Oh no!" Julie gasped

"That has to hurt." Chan flinched

"Do not worry. Nillious is strong." Fortress assured his partner

"Don't let up, Percival! Let's show this human how we brawl!" Ace snapped "Double Ability Activate! Darkus Driver, plus Tri-Gunner!"

Percival smirked as he jumped into the air and began to spin, dark energy flowing around him as he unleashed blasts if shadows from his Gauntlets and mouth. Becoming a drill of darkness that rushed at Nillious

Percival: 750G's - 950 - 1250Gs

"Two hundred from Darkus Driver. Plus an extra three hundred from Tri-Gunner. That alone makes the difference more than 500!" Baron gasped

"And he's lost." Dan stated simply as he saw the smile spread across Alice's lips

"Too easy." Alice stared as Nillious steadied himself, snarling

"Are you stupid?! The difference is 1000Gs!" Ace snapped only to blink as she held her arm straight up, her fingers curled up to click. A shudder of fear filling him for a reason he didn't understand

"Gate Card. Open." Alice called, simply closing her eyes. Her voice calm and smooth

"Y-You must R-Really be stupid! D-Darkus Reactor will just increase both of our power level." Ace stuttered in concern and fear. Wait... fear?! W-Why?! Why was... was he so scared?!

Alice did not say anything, snapping her fingers

Suddenly the ground bellow them began to glow... revealing a giant white square bellow their feet, almost like a stone tablet, with black markings upon them

"Flat Power." Alice stared calmly

"It's too late!" Percival as he was about to slam into Nillious... only for the two headed dragon to cross his wings, grunting as he absorbed the impact of the attack. His clawed feet digging into the ground as he was pushed back

"W-What?!" Ace gaped, taking a step back in shock before looking down at his Gauntlet

Percival: 1250Gs - 450Gs

Nillious: 200Gs - 400Gs

"The gate card returned them both to their base power level!" Mira gasped

"Ability Activate." Alice continued, slipping a card into her Gauntlet "Pact of Darkness."

An aura of darkness surrounded Percival as his attack came to a stop, the warrior falling to the ground as he groaned in pain, Nillious gripping his shoulders with his claws

Percival: 450Gs - 150Gs

"Percival! No!" Ace yelled out, quickly looking at his cards and cursing. Seeing as he realised his remaining cards where useless at this point

"RAAAA!" Nillious roared as he unleashed a massive blast of dark energy into Percival's face, making him yell in pain as he was sent flying back, reverting to his ball form in a flash of light

Ace looked in horror as he saw Percival rolling across the ground at his feet

"Yes~! Victory!" Nillious roared and cheered, his wings flapping powerfully before reverting to ball form, Alice catching him easily

"No way..." Mira blinked "So... so easily? Just... just two abilities?"

"You where too eager. Too agressive." Alice stared calmly "You wasted your negate ability too early. And just used all your abilities too fast. And it's also funny. You could have used a generic Darkus Ability-"

"Shut up!" Ace snapped as he got to his feet, grabbing Percival "Don't you lecture me! I'm far from done! Gate Card, set!"

"Well. Ready for another round, Nillious?" Alice asked calmly

"Let's crush him!" He snarled, nodding

"Bakugan Brawl!"

Alice:
Life Meter- 90% (450 points)
Darkus/ Nillious: 400G's

"Ability Activate! Tri-Gunner!" Ace roared

"GRAAAHHHHH!" Percival roared as he opened his Gauntlets and mouth, unleashing the blasts of darkness

Percival: 450Gs - 750Gs

"Darkus Blast, Ability Activate." Alice responded calmly, holding her arm up as the purple glow shone brightly

Nillious smirked as he opened his mouth, unleashing a barrage of black energy bolts from his mouth that quickly met Percival's and overwhelmed his

Percival: 750Gs - 450 - 150Gs

"Darkus Blast removes your ability and makes you loose three hundred Gs." Alice explained calmly

"Why you..." Ace growled "Double Ability Activate! Darkus Driver plus Night Explorer!" he roared while loading two ability cards "This will add 200 to Percival and reduce you by 300!"

Percival: 150Gs - 350Gs

Nillious: 400Gs - 100Gs

"That all?" She asked calmly, quickly loading two abilities herself "Double Ability Activate."

"What?!" Ace gasped as he took a step back

"Flash Zero plus Pact of Darkness." Alice stared calmly

Nillious: 100Gs - 300Gs

"Pact of Darkness increases Nillious by 200." Alice explained simply "While Flash Zero is a basic Darkus ability, one that reduces your G's by 50 for every ability you've used."

"I've used... three." Ace realised as he watched Percival drop by one hundred and fifty

Percival: 350Gs - 200Gs

"No! Ability Activate, Black Maiden!" Ace called "This negates your ability!"

Percival: 200Gs - 350 Gs

Nillious: 300Gs - 100Gs

"And... you've walked right into my trap." Alice smiled

"What are you talking about?!" He glared

"You're out of cards. But I... still have a few to play." Alice explained as she held up her hand, revealing three cards ready to slit into her Gauntlet. One of which clearly being a Fusion Ability

"W-What?! No way!" Ace gasped in horror "You only... you only have one card left to play! There's no way you can-"

"I use to go by another name. A name that, if you new, I don't think you'd have been so cocky and arrogant when I challenged you." Alice explained as she let her Gauntlet opening "Long ago... I was the Darkus Brawler known as Masquerade!"

The Vestals all gasped at those words, their eyes widening in horror

"M-Masqurade?!" Baron gasped "B-B-But he was an enemy of the Brawler's! And... and a guy, right?"

"Padded armour and baggy clothes hide a lot." Alice explained calmly "Especially when your body is super charged with negative energy from the Silent Core. Using your agression, your competitive spirit and your pride into a servant hungry for Battle and victory."

Alice finally placed the first of her cards into her Gauntlet, but did not close it yet. If you looked close, the ends of her hair where almost looking blonde

"My grandfather is the one to open a gate to Vestroia, to discover a way to it. To the Bakugan. You have been nothing but rude and disrespectful, mocking us humans because we are human. When my grandfather, a human, was the one to discover Vestroia and the first to make a portal there. With limited funding, equipment and resources." Alice explained as she closed her eyes, her breath steadying. Catching herself, calming herself as her hair returned to its normal crimson "... I did a lot of bad things as Masquerade. For years I blamed myself. Scared to battle, scared of being... me. But I got therapy, I got help."

The second card was placed into the Gauntlet, but she still refused to close it

"It took time. But now I am confident in myself. I know who I am." Alice continued "I was Masquerade. Every single skill used back then came from me. They where my skills and strategies. My strength. And I've accepted them... as well as my sins."

The third card was finally in place, Alice holding the Gauntlet open as the wind blew. Her jackets tailcoats fluttering in the wind, an echo of a similar white coat appearing over her along with a giant glass mask. An echo that lasted a breath

"You aren't the only ones with sins to clense. I have done terrible things to the Bakugan. And now... I make it right." Alice finished, her eyes snapping open with a glare of determination "Because you are facing the Earth's best Darkus Brawler, and the second best Brawler in the entire world, Ace Gritt! And now... it's time to show you what that means!"

Alice finally released her Gauntlet, letting it close, as she raised her hand into the air. Curling her fingers slightly as she coldly said three simple words

Three words that made Ace think the grim reaper herself was marching towards him

"Triple... Ability... Activate."

And a massive purple glow shone from her Gauntlet as her fingers clicked

"Shadow Reflection. Plus Night Flames. Plus. Fusion Ability." Alice spoke as her eyes sparkedled through the darkness that began to form around them

"I won't let you! Gate Card Open! Percival Character Card!" Ace roared as a massive blast of purple energy emerged, Percival standing strong as he roared with power

Percival: 350Gs - 700Gs

"A character card! It double Percival's power level!" Marucho nodded

"Shame he hasn't got any ability cards left to play. THOSE would have been doubled as well." Chan noted

"Fall. To. Nightmare." Alice almost whispered ominously, ignoring Ace's actions even as her words somehow echoed like a roar

Nillious snarled as he got on all fours, raising his tail high... before he roared, purple spikes suddenly emerging from the ground

The spikes rushing high, making Percival grunt as he was cut from a few different directions

"Percival!" Ace yelled in confusion and worry... before the sound of glass shattering filled the air "What?!"

shatter!

"The... the gate... card..." Ace whispered in horror, seeing the Percival Character Card breaking into shards of purple glass and flouting into the air. Further breaking down into dust

Percival: 700Gs - 350 - 250Gs

Nillious: 100Gs - 400 - 500Gs

"Night Flames destroys your Gate Card and steals 100 points." Alice elaborated what the Gauntlets showed "Which happens after Shadow Reflection returns Nillious to his base G power."

And, of course, there was one more left

The Fusion Ability

Nillious snarling as black energy sparked over his entire body, his wings spread as wide as he could. Purple fire forming in his right maw while the black energy was gathering in his left as a black lightning ball

"Per-Percival! Get out of there!" Ace yelled in fear

But it was too late as Nillious roared and unleashed his attack

A massive blast of purple flames, black lightning spiraling around it. Encasing and reinforcing it

The two forms of energy merging as one as they slammed into Percival as he howled in agony

KABOOM!

An explosion echoed out as the attack hit its limit, Ace bouncing across the ground as yelled in shock and pain

Percival: 250Gs - 50Gs

Nillious: 500Gs - 700 - 900Gs

Ace:
Life Meter-: 50% (250 points) - 0% (0 Points)

ALICE WINS!

Everyone looked on in awe, and the Vestals in shock, as Alice caught both Nillious AND Percival.

"The... the difference. It was... more than 500 points..." Baron mumbled in shock

"Fall to Nightmare... Nillious' Fusion Ability. It steals 200 points form my opponent, before increasing Nillious by another 200." Alice explained simply as the battle was over, holding both Bakugan in one hand

"Give... give him back! My... my Percival!" Ace snarled, crawling across the ground

"Just so you know... I didn't go all out." Alice explained simply as she got on her knees, kneeling to get closer to Ace's eye level as she held her hand out. Showing him Percival "I held back to give you a chance... your own arrogance cost you."

"What are... you talking about?" He glared

"I have to say. I'm not a big fan of the format you Vestals use. A lot less strategic than our version." Alice commented gently "However... there is some interesting aspects to it. It's not about resource management, it's about making your opponent use up their resources. There are two clear strategies to this game, both you seen to be struggling with. Either going all out at the start, making the gap super big or reduce your opponent to zero, before they have a chance to try and counter attack. Or what I did, baiting all your negates before going on the offensive. Both gave their own risks, but if you don't commit either way can out do you."

"You-" Ace snapped, reaching out to Alice... only for her to suddenly clasp his hand, Percival being placed in his palm

"If we want to win and save the Bakugan, something we all want, we have to work together. We have to accept each other and work together. Otherwise... we will fail." Alice explained passionately "Those Vexos you mentioned. They are the top Vestal Brawler's of their attribute, correct? Meaning they know these tactics. And more. Freeing the Bakugan, saving our friends, is more important than pride. Right? And besides... we can all grow stronger, together. One pillar is powerful, but many will refuse to fall."

Ace was silent for a few moments before he removed his hand from Alice's grasp, looking down at Percival as he nodded softly. As sadness washed over his form. As he admitted his defeat.

"I look forward to fighting alongside you." Alice nodded with a smile before she stood tall, walking towards the others with confidence just flowing from the red head

"Incredible..." Mira whispered "There's only one person I've heard of able to pull off a Triple Ability..."

"Yeah, Spectra of the Vexos, right?" Barron asked/agreed

"Exactly." Mira nodded, bititng her lip "And Alice did so in her first Brawl... we might have a chance, Baron. We might have hope."

"Hey hey, way to go Alice! Knew you could do it!" Runo cheered

"Thank you, Runo." Alice smiled

"You kicked ass, girl!" Julie celebrated, quickly hugging her friend

"You certainly adapted to the new game fast." Marucho nodded calmly

"Shd always was the smart one among you all." Chan teased

"Hehe, not bad." Dan teased as he grinned af Alice "But what can you expect from the second best Brawler of Earth, right?"

Alice's eye twitched at that, slowly turning to Dan "Oh? You don't say~?" She asked with an overly nice smile

"Well, yeah. You almost beat me in the past. I'd be disappointed if you lost that." Dan laughed

"I see." Alice hummed "Well. If I remember correctly... didn't Dual Hydranoid beat Drago in the brawl before that?"

"Yea-hey!" Dan snapped "We both know we grew stronger between those brawls! On equal footing with Ultimate Bakugan, and I won! Rank number 1!"

"And it's been a few years since then, Danny. I'm sure the results may be a bit... different this time." Alice said while patting his shoulder

"Any time, any where, old friend!" Dan grinned while holding out his hand

Alice smiled as she grasped with with a playful wink... and kissed his cheek

"You better not be rusty~" she teased with a wink before walking towards the base

"Huh?" Dan blinked, reaching for his cheek in confusion

"That's... different." Marucho blinked

"Is it... a German thing?" Chan asked

"R-Runo. Calm down." Julie urged as the bluenette growled, surrounded by an aura of fire

"These guys... are weird." Mira mumbled

"Yeah... our new team members are." Ace grumbled, standing besides Mira. The three smiling at each other

Time ticked by as the newly formed, better than ever, Bakugan Resistance got to work after the scuffle. Now, all of them were located inside the main room, Mira standing in front of a high tech screen as she shared the situation New Vestroia was in with their allies

"Dimension Controller? What's that?" Dan asked as he was eating, the afternoon sun shimmering through the room

"Can you be any more gross?" Chan asked with a slight frown, rubbing her temple

"There are three dimsensions. Alpha, Beta, Gamma. Their power changed the Bakugan back into balls." The oranged haired girl explained, pointing to the pinging points on the map "They do so by warping dimensional space, making Vestroia's atmosphere and dimensional make up the same as Vestal."

"So, iwe destroy those controllers, would that change the Bakugan back to their former selves?" Marucho asked as Ace tapped away at a computer terminal

"It's worth trying. Battling Vexos will only get us so far. We need to hit them where it really, really hurts. That's why we gotta wipe out all the controllers." Barron spoke up, punching his fists lightly

"But each of the Dimension controllers is in the center of a city." Mira nodded. "So, that means we have to hit the enemy in his lair. What do you think, Dan?" She turned around to the brown haired boy... whose mouth was full of food

Julie simply rolled her eyes as Rubo groaned

"Can you be any more embarrassing?" The blue haired girl groaned

"I couldn't agree with you more." Mira responded, to Dan as he made garkled bodies through his mouth full of food. Even if she looked off put, there was still a small smile upon her face. Finding it strangly endearing, the humans enthusiasm and determination almost infectious

After a moment Dan swallowed his food, pounding his fist against his chest for a few seconds as he let out a gasp "Fwa~!" He gasped out before grinning "Sounds like my kind of mission!" Dan smiled as he gave a thumbs up, brushing his thumb against as his nose while giving a wink "Totally perfect~!"

"That's the spirit." Mira chuckled with a smile

"I'm in!" Barron shouted happily and Ace shrugged.

"Gotta love a guy who overthinks things." He said as he took a seat along with Baron.

"Brace yourselves, everyone. We're taking off!" Baron called

"What?" The Brawler's asked together when, suddenly, the room they were in began to lift. Outside, the Resistance outpost slowly shifted from building into a large motor home/trailer truck. The top of the building sliding forwards and down into the cab, while the sides of the buuilding slid back and into each other to form the rear. The large base giving of a series of powerful motorised noises and mechanical clunks as it transformed before completing the process with a final hiss.

"Next stop, Alpha!" Barron cheered before starting the engine and taking off. The large, former, buildings tires turning with a mighty engine roaring for several moments. Dust being kicked up as they took off towards the sun

"Unreal... this is unreal~!" Julie squealed as the group of humans where pressed against the windows, looking out in awe

"I didn't expect anything like this... truly incredible." Alice admitted

"Relax. The base turns into a tank." Mira responded cheerfully, catching the humans attention "We call it The Trailer. Took some time to get it to work."

"This is off the chain." Dan praised before rushing around to look at the computers

"I think you'll like our technology. Even someone as slow as Dan can operate it." Ace said as Marucho and Dan ran up to here he was sitting... and suddenly he was hit over the head by Runo "Ow! Hey!"

"Watch what you say about my boyfriend!" Runo hissed as she glared down at Ace, an aura of fire around her

"Make up your MIND girl! Is he your boyfriend or NOT?!" Julie snapped slightly

"Got to admit. Even I'm getting annoyed by it." Chan deadpanned

"I-You-Its complicated!" Runo huffed with a blush

"Humans." Drago laughed as he turned to the Brawler's new partners "Don't worry, you'll get use to them."

"I hope so." Thumpina deadpanned as the other two gave a soft laugh

Mira smiled softly for a moment before slowly leaving the room, pulling out a locket "The Brawlers... they care about each other. They trust each other. ... like a family." Mira whispered as she looked down at the locket in her hands

At the picture of a young man who looked very similar to herself but with almost pink hair

"Big brother... I hope you are okay." She whispered, brushing her gloved thumb against the picture sadly

The trailer continued to roar down the road, as this adventure comes to a close...
