Izuku and Hilda rode the train back to UA together like they usually did. Things were relatively normal, though they did get hounded by a lot of people who recognized them from the Sports Festival.

"Sheesh, can't believe so many people are drawing to the first and second-place winners, huh?" Hilda chuckled as Izuku rested on her belly, allowing her to stroke his fluffy mound of green hair.

"If this is the sort of attention we're getting from just the Sports Festival, what'll happen when we go Pro?"

The two soon reached the school campus. It was raining but they had their umbrellas out.

"Hey, you guys!"

The two turned to see Ben and Penny there. The rain seemed to be avoiding Ben and Penny but that was because Ben was manipulating the water to move around them so they stayed dry without the need of an umbrella.

"How are you two lovebirds doing?" Ben smirked as Izuku and Hilda both bashfully laughed, blushing.

"We're doing okay, how about you two? Things holding up okay?"

"For the most part, yes." Penny smiled. "Things went over well in Daddy's press conference. Turns out a lot of people are amazed at the fact a machine can perfectly mimic a human being in all forms."

"We heard about what happened to Iida and his brother," Ben said. "I just hope he's okay."

"Good morning everyone!"

They all turned around to see Tenya wearing a poncho and rain boots, running past them all.

"Well, you seem to be pretty chipper," Hilda said. "Are you sure you're doing okay? Need Mama Hilda to give you a hug?"

"No, that's quite alright." Tenya politely declined with a blush. "Though I do appreciate the offer. After what happened with Tensei..."

"How is he?" Penny asked.

"Thankfully, he's doing perfectly fine thanks to Tsunade-Sama...but he's decided to pull from Hero work," Tenya said, causing the others to gasp. "For now his agency is being transferred to his top sidekick, Enigma, who's now being promoted to Pro Hero status. But she's made it clear that this is only to maintain the agency until my graduation."

"Did they find out who attacked him?" Izuku asked.

Tenya's eyes narrowed dangerously. "It was the Hero Killer. He crippled my brother when he tried to stop him from killing a young recently graduated Pro Hero. Apparently, from what Tensei told me, he's under the belief that he's killing heroes who are 'fake' and 'corrupt', the ones he claims are only in it for fame and fortune."

"Damn..." Ben cursed silently. "That's pretty hardcore."

"Well, there's nothing we can do about it right now..." Tenya sighed. "But enough about such somber moments. I assume by now you've seen the reruns of the Sports Festival. Rather strange to be greeted by people on the street as if you were already a celebrity."

"Yeah, crazy right?" Hilda laughed.

Sure enough, the same buzz was in the rest of Class 1-A, everyone was talking about how people recognized them from the Sports Festival. Soon, the door slid open and everyone immediately took their seats as Aizawa entered the room.

"Morning."

"Good morning, Aizawa-Sensei!" Greeted the students in unison.

"Today's going to be a big class and a joint lesson with Class 1-B. To that end, I have a small announcement. This normally wouldn't be brought up since it doesn't involve our class, but Vlad King, the homeroom teacher for Class 1-B, had Monoma Neito shunted down to General Ed due to his poor performance in the Sports Festival, and overall bad sportsmanship."

"Good, that guy was a prick." Katsuki snorted. "Self-centered hypocrite is what he was."

"In his place, Hitoshi Shinso has been elevated to the Hero Course in Class 1-B in his place due to his exceptional performance and reaching the final tournament."

"Awesome! He made it after all!" Izuku smiled.

"Today's lesson sounds boring, but trust me when I say you're going to enjoy it. It's called 'Hero Informatics'. Or, to put it in layman's terms..." Aizawa smirked as he proceeded to drop the bombshell. "It's time to pick your Hero Names."

He made sure to plug his ears as the whole class erupted in excitement. When the cheering became too much, his eyes flashed red, his hair rising as they flashed, activating his Quirk while intimidating all the students to quickly calm down. The Haki-sensitive students could practically feel the Conqueror's Haki radiating off him.

"Damn, Aizawa-Sensei's Haki is strong!" Izuku, Hilda, and Ben all thought.

"This is related to the Pro Hero draft picks that were mentioned shortly after the Sports Festival. Normally drafting is only done for second or third-year students. But the Hero Course is an exception. In fact, by drafting students like you, heroes are essentially investing in your future." Aizawa informed. "Any offers for you may be rescinded, however, if their interest in you dies down. You'll still have to prove yourself after getting recruited."

"Sheesh, adults are always putting such high expectations on us kids," Minoru grunted.

"Please remember that after you successfully obtain a Provisional Hero License later down the line, you may swap between any agencies that have drafted you until you find one suited to your needs. Being a Hero is important work, but it's still another job at the end of the day, no different from police or rescue work." Aizawa said, proceeding to turn on a monitor to showcase the list of offers each student got.

Izuku and Hilda were both at the top with around 5,000 offers, Shoto and Ben had just over 4,000, and Penny, Katsuki, and Kirby all had just over 3,000.

"Most of those are probably just due to my father's recommendations." Shoto sighed as Ben patted him on the back.

"Geez, this is insane!" Minoru said to Izuku. "People are probably seeing you and Yasakani as the next All-Might or something!"

Izuku couldn't help but nod. "I knew I'd be getting offers in the thousands, but that's still a crazy high amount. And I only got second place."

"So much for second-place being for losers, eh Kaachan?" Kirby playfully asked her boyfriend, who grunted but made no comment.

"Now, you'll all be doing internships since you were able to get some impromptu experience fighting villains during the attack on the USJ. But it'll still be helpful to get to see a Pro at work. Some might even give you permission to fight against a Villain if they think you can handle it." Aizawa continued. "The names you'll be getting will likely be temporary, but you should still take them seriously. If you're only remembered for an embarrassing name, it tends to stick with you for life."

"So why did you pick the name Eraserhead?" Sero asked.

"The truth is, I never intended to pick a Hero Name but Present Mic suggested the name and I just went with it," Aizawa explained.

Class 1-A and 1-B had now gathered together to pick Hero Names for themselves. Aizawa and Vlad King were joined by both Midnight and Captain Falcon.

"Now keep in mind a Hero Name is meant to represent the sort of Hero you want to be. Whether you wish to inspire the masses or terrify foes. Whether you want to stand in the spotlight or strike from the shadows." Midnight said. "And yes, that rhymed! It was intentional!"

"Mom..." Ben groaned, face-desking in embarrassment.

"Take your time to think up what you want your name to be." Captain Falcon said as the teachers handed the students whiteboards and black markers. "It will be your mantle going forward, so make it count!"

Once all the students were finished, Awase was the first one to go up.

"Okay, here it is..." He presented his whiteboard. "The Construction Hero: Welder!"

"Oooh sounds constructive!" Midnight approved.

Yuuga confidently stood up, walking up to the front to present his name.

"Here I go...The Shining Hero: I Cannot Stop Twinkling! Which means, you can't stop my sparkles!"

"Dumbass! That's a whole damn sentence!" Rebecca snapped.

"Aoyama, don't you think you should pick something that fits your heritage more?" Izuku pointed out as the blonde Franco-Japanese boy rubbed his chin in thought before nodding, quickly writing out the name and putting in a new one.

"How about this? The Shining Hero: Cavalier!"

"Much better!" Captain Falcon approved with a thumbs-up.

"Here's mine," Sen said as he went next. "The Driller Hero: Spiral."

"The drill that pierces the heavens, I like it!" Midnight approved.

"Hats off, boys, my name is WAIFU!" Mina said before realizing her mistake and blushing sheepishly as she re-wrote it. "Sorry, I meant to say the Glamorous Hero: Alien Queen!"

"Ashido, sweetie, I respect your enthusiasm, but we don't want to get sued." Midnight gently said.

"Fine..." Mina pouted before altering the name a bit. "Acid Pink! Take it or leave it!"

"You chuckleheads are gonna get a kick out of this!" Togaru Kamakiri said proudly. "The Insectoid Hero: Jack Mantis!"

Tsuyu came up with her board. "I've actually had this name in mind since grade school. The Rainy Season Hero: Froppy!"

"I love it, it's adorable!" Midnight gushed.

Kuroiro went next. "This next one might sound sinister, but I feel it fits with my theme. The Scheming Hero: Vantablack!"

"Aww, it's no truffle at all, Kuroiro-Kun!" Kinoko smiled. "I think it sounds shroomtastic!"

Vlad King nodded. "Komori is correct. There's nothing wrong with having a sinister-sounding name, Shihai. With my name and Quirk, I tend to conjure up images of Vlad the Impaler but I'm still a Hero through and through."

Tenya sighed as it now came up to his turn, walking nervously to the front and holding his whiteboard close.

"This was decided between my brother and me in light of his early retirement. As the next generation, I am ready to take up his mantle. Therefore, my Hero Name is..." He revealed his whiteboard. "The Overdrive Hero: Reciprium!"

"Whoooo! That's what I'm talking about!" Hilda cheered.

Itsuka came up for her turn. "Alright, here's mine; The Kung-Fu Hero: Battle Fist!"

"I hope this name is good enough." Ochako shyly said, going next. "The Fly-High Hero: Uravity!"

"Ah, a plan on your last name and gravity!" Midnight realized. "Nice touch!"

"The Shrinking Hero: Rule." Yui Kodai said stoically before going back to her desk just like that.

"I hope this doesn't sound too much like Kendo's name," Oujiro said as he went next. "The Martial Arts Hero: Tailspin."

"I'm gonna be an Idol Hero, so I want this to match my fung-style!" Kinoko smiled. "The Spore Hero: Shemage!"

"Hope you guys get a charge out of this!" Denki said. "The Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt!"

"Allow me to present mine next," Ibara said. "The Gentle Heroine: Faith."

Eijirou took his turn next, being immensely excited. "Here's my name! The Sturdy Hero: Red Riot!"

"Oh, a homage to Crimson Riot, huh?" Captain Falcon smiled.

"Yeah, he's my Grandpa!" Eijirou beamed. "He's retired now, but I want to honor his legacy in my own way."

"Just be prepared to live up to that expectation," Aizawa said.

"I've always wanted to just cut loose in my life despite having a privileged upbringing." Jurota Shishida said. "Therefore, my name is The Beastly Hero: Gevaudan!"

Kouji shyly presented his name as The Petting Hero: Anima, which was swiftly approved by his teachers and classmates, making him smile and bow his head thankfully before shuffling back to his desk.

"It was hard coming up with a name that worked for me but I think I got it." Shouda Nirengeki said. "The Rebound Hero: Mines!"

"I got this from some old X-Men comics I found lying around," Rikidou said. "The Sweets Hero: Sugar Man!"

"Here's miiine!" Pony Tsunotori cheered. "The Stallion Hero: Rocketti!"

"I've never been one for extravagant names," Shouji said. "So I simply picked The Tentacle Hero: Tentacool."

"I was almost gonna go with my own name but I had a little help from Nia," Tsuburaba said. "The Breathing Hero: Pane Blower!"

"I was gonna use my Quirk as my Hero Name, but I figured I'd be a bit more creative." Kyouka went next. "The Earphone Hero: Heartjack!"

"Here's my manly name!" Tetsutetsu excitedly said. "The Heavy Metal Hero: Real Steel!"

"The Taping Hero: Cellophane!" Sero said. "Amazing how much you can make an ordinary thing sound like a cool name for a Hero, huh?"

"Hope you all like this, I put some effort into it!" Setsuna grinned. "The Autotomy Hero: Lizardy!"

"Behold, the name that shall strike fear into the hearts of evil-doers," Fumikage announced. "The Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi!"

"I think this name really pops out!" Manga Fukidashi said. "The SFX Hero: Comic Man!"

Shoto finished his name and nodded in satisfaction before coming up.

"A year ago I would have just stuck with my own name to showcase who I am. But now I'm confident enough to have an identity all my own." He presented his whiteboard. "The Half-N-Half Hero: Celsius."

Aizawa nodded in approval. "Good to see you've finally found your conviction."

"Geez, way to put pressure on the rest of us, Todoroki!" Juuzo said playfully as he went next. "The Sinkhole Hero: Mudman is my name!"

"I've been learning new facets of my invisibility so I came up with this!" Tooru said. "The Refraction Hero: Prism!"

Bondo Kojiro went next. "T-The Adhesive Hero: Plamo..."

"Awwww, he's almost like Kouji." Hilda cooed in adoration.

Katsuki smirked. "You chucklenuts are gonna be blown away by this kickass name that'll leave any Villain who hears it crapping their pants; The Ground Zero Hero: Dynamight!"

"It was either that or King Explosion Murder," Kirby whispered to Hilda, who giggled.

Shinso put the finishing touches on his name before coming up, a look of uncertainty in his eyes before he steeled himself.

"To be honest, for all that I wanted to join this course, I honestly didn't think it would happen. But now that I am here, I'm happy to say I know the sort of hero I want to be." He revealed his whiteboard. "The Sinister Hero: Mindhacker!"

Everyone talked excitedly, agreeing that the name really suited Shinso as Hilda came up with her name next.

"Well, I'm definitely gonna be someone who stands out with all this glorious blubber." She giggled, slapping her belly proudly. "So feast your eyes on the Big & Beautiful Hero: Invicta!"

"Ah, clever, a feminine form of Invictus, which is the word for undefeated." Captain Falcon noted, nodding in approval.

Izuku smiled as Hilda walked past him and kissed his cheek, urging him to go up and do his best as he presented his whiteboard.

"Considering the circumstances of how I got my powers and the fact that I'm carrying the wills of people from a whole other world, I hope this fits; The Devil Fruit Hero: Dekiru!"

"Righteous!" Denki praised as Ben went next.

"This name...it was used to once describe me as a weapon...but I am going to take it and use it to become a Hero who defies the legacy planned for me." He then presented his whiteboard. "The Elemental Hero: Dragoon."

"You will be amazing, I just know it." Penny smiled as she went next. "To be honest, despite not being born like normal people, I had the dream of becoming a Hero just like them and my name will reflect my goals; The Android Hero: Buster Maiden!"

"Truly haunting and imposing." Reiko Yanagi noted, nodding in approval as she went next. "Behold, my name of dread and eloquence; The Phantasmal Hero: Emily."

"I'm only gonna get better like fine wine!" Minoru smirked as he went next. "The Freshly Picked Hero: Grape Juice!"

"The Oriental Hero: Dragon Shroud!" Rin said when it was his turn. "I've had it in mind ever since I was a little kid back in China."

Momo looked a bit uncertain as she came up next. "I hope I can live up to this name; The Everything Hero: Creati."

"That's the way to do it, Yaomomo!" Kirby smiled as she went next. "I figured this'd be a nice shout-out! The Pop Star Hero: Astro Girl!"

"Ahh, a nice reference to Astro Boy." Vlad King chuckled, nodding in approval.

Nia smirked and showed off her whiteboard. "You think I'm going for something cat-like, aren't ya? Well, think again; The Prowler Hero: Dauntless!"

"I took a bit of inspiration from Greek Mythology for this one," Mipha said when it was her turn. "The Wellspring Hero: Amphitrite."

"Hehehe, metal!" Nimona grinned as she went next. "I was going for a mythological name myself! The Shapeshifting Hero: Loki!"

"That does make sense, you are a bit of a mischief maker." Setsuna giggled.

Rebecca was the last with her chosen Hero Name, casually chewing some gum and blowing a bubble as she presented her whiteboard.

"Here you go, Choomies; The Cyberpunk Hero: Mainframe!"

"I hope you kids take these names and make them into mantles worthy of the Heroes you want to be!" Captain Falcon proudly declared.

Meanwhile, in the teacher's lounge, Toshinori nervously looked at the top recommendation that both Izuku and Hilda had received. It was from none other than his old mentor; Gran Torino.

"This is most troubling...I have a feeling Young Midoriya and Young Yasakani are in for quite the ride if they choose to intern under him..."

"Your internships will last for one week," Aizawa said, "And some of you will get the chance to intern with the teachers."

"Wait, really?" Sero asked.

"We may be teachers but we're also still Heroes as well." Vlad King pointed out. "Our agencies are still active as well, run by our sidekicks while we're here teaching the next generation."

"You'll each have a list based on the offers you received," Aizawa said. "Make sure to give each some consideration based on the hero you want to be. Each agency has its own specialty. For example, someone wanting to be a rescue hero wouldn't want to join an agency focused on fighting villains. Turn in your choices before the weekend."

"Well, that's odd..." Ben muttered as he looked over his internship offers.

"What is?" Shoto asked.

"I seem to have gotten an internship offer from Endeavor..." Ben muttered. "How strange is that?"

"So did I!" Penny said.

"For some reason, I don't have him on mine," Shoto said. "But I do have an offer from Garp the Fist."

"Well, Grandpa did train Endeavor so I guess he decided to try again with you," Izuku noted.

"This guy sounds cool, why don't we go to him together?" Hilda suggested as she showed Izuku an internship offer they both got from the Jetstream Hero: Gran Torino.

"Awww sick!" Nimona laughed. "An internship offer from the Youth Hero: Might Gai?! Sign me up!"

"Holy cow, an internship with The Rabbit Hero: Miruko?!" Mina gawked. "That's so cool!"

"Hey, look at this, Deku!" Ochako smiled. "I got one from your cousins, Terrible Tornado and Hell Blizzard!"

"Oh wow, that's great, Uraraka!" Izuku beamed. "Just be careful, Tatsu-Nee is a bit strict."

"Bang Silverfang..." Oujiro gasped. "It's an honor to learn from him."

"Huh, Demon Cyborg of the S-Rankers?" Rebecca noted. "Sounds fun."

"Huh, I got an offer from the Strategist Hero: Tsuru." Momo noted.

"Oh, Grandma!" Ben smiled. "You'll learn a lot from her, Yaoyorozu!"

"If you're gonna learn under my Mom, I should probably stick with ya." Midnight said, ruffling Momo's head. "Don't want her telling you any embarrassing stories..."

"Heh, I'm gonna go with the Buddha Hero: Sengoku," Katsuki smirked. "He used to be the #4 Pro Hero a long time ago and even in his old age, he's still kicking."

"He was close friends with Grandpa Garp and Granny Tsuru too." Izuku pointed out. "I think you might learn a lot from him, Kaachan."

"I was thinking of interning under him too." Nia chuckled. "Hope you can keep up with me."

"Oh, you're gonna eat those words, Kitty Cat!"

"Mipha and I are both going with the Sea Rescue Hero: Selkie," Tsuyu said. "Amazing how alike we think."

Mipha giggled. "Yes, quite."

"Ooh! Meta Knight!" Kirby smiled when she recognized a familiar face in her internship offers. "I'm totally joining him! He's my mentor!"

"I've made my choice as well..." Tenya sighed. "At first I was considering Manual. He patrols Hosu, and since Stain was last seen there it would be a good chance to confront him. But I think it might be best to focus on improving my combat first."

"So who did you pick, Iida?" Hilda asked.

"I've decided to intern under Atomic Samurai of the S-Rankers."

"Sounds like a perfect choice to me," Izuku noted. "He's a very disciplined Pro Hero. I know you might still be angry about what happened to your brother, so it might be a good idea to intern under him."

"Yes, that is one of the reasons I decided to choose him." Tenya nodded.

As the setting sun gave the school an orange glow, so too were the students preparing to leave. Izuku had finished packing his backpack, prepared to go home with his friends when suddenly...

"I am here in a bizarre position!" All-Might shouted as he slid in front of the door in a bowing position. "Would Young Midoriya and Yasakani please come with me? I need to speak to the two of you, separately of course, but in private."

The two were a bit mystified but they obeyed. All-Might brought them to the teacher's lounge as they sat with him.

"You two must be curious as to why I brought you both here."

"Yeah, what's up?" Hilda asked.

"Well, the hero you decided to intern under..." All-Might awkwardly began. "The truth is...he's my old teacher. I haven't been in contact with him for quite some time and well..."

"Gran Torino? From what I read, he used to teach her, but only for a year. I wonder why..." Hilda hummed.

"He was a rather strict teacher, I'll tell you that," All-Might explained. "So if you're planning on interning with him, please show the proper respect. In fact, when I trained with him..."

All-Might trailed off, causing Izuku and Hilda to wonder what was wrong with him until they saw his legs quiver.

"He did this... and that... and oh god that... so scary... too scary! Stop trembling legs!"

"I think we may have just opened Pandora's Box..." Hilda worriedly muttered, Izuku nodding grimly in agreement.

Hope you like what I have to show you during the Internship Arc! Things are gonna be a real doozy!
