OK I've taken a long time with finally writing the final chapters of this story because a lot happens in a very short time and I just wanted to be in the right mood to make sure I do it right, initially I wasn't going to reveal anything about how the other three brothers got out of the specialists's ship but I realized I should give a hint to both pad out this chapter and to give the Turtles a little more to do in a story that's under the Ninja Turtles banner, also if you've watched Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame, this scene will seem very familiar to you (Wait until you see future chapters) I decided not to put an equivilent 'Court of Miracles' song in this chapter because in this story it would actually kill the drama as the scene highlights what certain Mizzer Humanimals had to become in order to survive, some actually rose to the occasion becoming more than the ordinary civilans they were, others like Marzipan's parents couldn't mentally handle it and thus became reliant on the brave Humanimals to take care of them because of their cowardice (Note I only said her parents, Emma became one of the braver Humanimals growing up in the harsh world and grew to be a better Humanimal than she would have been on Mizzer)

For a moment to Turtles and the Tickle Torture Specialist just stood frozen and stared at each other incredulously but Leo quickly leapt into action, in fact leaping right behind where the little man stood, and since he once again had his katanas, he held them close to the little man's throat.

"One false move and you're dead!" Leo snarled more than a little ticked off than usual about not only being rendered helpless but that he would have been killed in such a humilating manner...

"What are you doing?!" Shale asked obviously more than a little frightened since a Humanimal attacking a human is one of the most severe infractions and normally in such cases the Humanimal is quickly shot dead by police robots.

"Stay close with us Shale!' Leo said "We're going to get you out of here!" He then said quietly into the little man's ear "You're going to do exactly what we tell you to do or you're going find YOURSELF reduced to a trophy hanging on a wall..."

Meanwhile, Ichabod and Edward had taken the route Kevin told them to take through the ancient catacombs that once had a purpose and like so many other things the Wranglers tried to bury it along with the rest of human history.

Edward was remembering the stories he had heard with his fellow Noble Born Children, stories that fugitive Humanimals had fled to hidden places deep beneath the city, such stories were often dissmissed as only stories children tell to frighten each other, But like so many other things it seemed it was a case of the children were willing to be truthful even if they didn't know it, and the adults would rather ignore and even cover up the truth rather than face it, because to go down there to find the Humanimals, would mean also digging up other things they wanted to keep hidden, the real skeletons in the closets that if the common humans knew about they would riot!

"Come to think of it..." Edward said as his years of military training taught him things shouldn't be this quiet "...We should have run into something by now..."

"What do you mean?" Ichabod asked

"You know," Edward said "A guard, a booby trap..."

And suddenly what dim lighting there was in the room went out.

"Or an ambush." Edward said in the darkness

The lights came back on and slightly over a dozen Humanimals, all dressed in black and wearing skull masks so they were disguised as the skeletons that were lining the walls of the catacombs.

What seemed to be the ringleader of this group, a tall and handsome middle aged Fox-Man stepped forth removing his skull mask

"Well, well, well..." He sneered "...What have we here?"

"Tresspassers!" Spies!" Came the voices of the other guards.

"We're not spies..." Edward began to say but a gag was quickly wrapped around his mouth

"You've got to listen to us..." Ichabod began to plead but he was quickly gagged as well.

"Don't interupt me!" The Fox-Man snarled, he then took a torch from one of his fellow Humanimals.

"You're very clever to have found our hideaway..." The Fox-Man said as he used the torch to light another one "...But unfortunatly, you won't live to tell the tale..."

The Guards took the two humans to the 'Great Hall' which was the largest 'hidey-hole' under Capitol City, you could almost fit everyone in there.

Fortunatly before the Humanimals could harm a hair on either human's head a familiar voice cried out "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP!"

And a familiar burst of pink and purple came forward "These are the humans I was telling you all about! They're here to help us!"

"Why didn't they say so?" Asked the Fox-Man

"We did so!" Both Edward and Ichabod said tersely as Marzipan removed the gags from their mouths.

"Were you not here when I mentioned that?" Marzipan asked the Fox-Man realizing she was pretty sure she hadn't seen this particular Humanimal before as she was introducing herself to the Humanimals who were in the Great Hall at the time, but then she realized he smelled familiar...

"Are you...Related to Rook Raynardo?" She asked as she sniffed "...You smell like him!"

The Fox-Man gasped "Why...Yes! He's my son! Is my baby boy still alive?!"

"We were captured together..." Marzipan said "...We were both taken to Alderbaren, we were both among the few who were able to leave with our minds still intact."

A rush of memories of his past came flooding back to Mr. Reynardo...And realizing what he was almost about to do...Caused him to ask 'What have I become?' on Mizzer he was a simple party planner but the harsh life on Viola Strierra had made him into something else entirely to survive, now knowing his only child was still alive, he felt a wave of shame, what would his boy, now grown into a Young Fox-Man think of him now?

As Marzipan cut the ropes binding Ichabod and Edward's wrists with her claws, the two humans noticed a very pretty white Cat-Girl approaching.

"Who are these humans?" The Younger Cat-Girl asked obviously wary after years of growing up having to fear humans

"Oh!" Marzipan said "Emma, I'd like you to meet Ichabod, my fiance..."

The White Cat-Girl looked Ichabod up and down, Ichabod felt amazed that he was finally meeting Marzipan's younger sister.

"Well..." Emma sniffed in typical cat fashion "He's not someone I would consider husband material..."

Ichabod felt himself nearly choke with embaressment but Emma had already turned to her sister

"...But you're no prize yourself!" Emma chuckled at Marzipan

"EMMA!" Marzipan yelled even after all that had happened Emma was still annoying!

So yeah, Emma's trying to be funny in her own way (Not realizing how hurtful what she's saying is, typical cat being hurtful without realizing it) This is another thing that will set up Ichabod's downward spiral into feeling he's unworthy of Marzipan for being a human
