A multitude of survivors hurriedly fled down the carpeted corridor, seeking refuge from imminent danger. The air resonated with a cacophony of screams and shouts as they made their way towards the shuttles. From a distance, the guttural growls and snarls of the pursuing Necromorphs reverberated through the halls. However, despite the overwhelming fear that gripped everyone, a glimmer of hope seemed to blossom within many hearts, particularly in the enigmatic trio of children who valiantly confronted the relentless monsters.

At the center of the chaos stood Deku, his body radiating a vibrant green light. With each punch and kick, he thwarted the slashers' attempts to harm him. Suddenly, a slasher sprinted towards the young hero from behind, poised to pounce upon him. Deku's danger sense immediately alerted him to the imminent threat. Swiftly, he leapt into the air, activating his Float Quirk, and deftly rolled his body to face his assailant with a determined gaze.

Black tendrils of Blackwhip shot out of Deku's gloves, wrapping around the Slasher's torso. Pulling his arms back he brought the monster up in the air to his view. Deku pulled the Slasher towards him, rearing back his fist and strikes at its face, caving in its nose.

The Slasher fell down, the tendrils uncoiling from its torso, and it bounced across the floor for a few meters, and laid still.

The Slasher growled in mingled pain and rage, as it pushed itself up. Blood dripping down its face, its nose bubbling with labored breath. But before it could take one step, Deku flicked his fingers, propelling air bullets into its face. Its head exploded in an explosion of blood and tissue. It stumbled back, and lay on the ground again.

Not too far from Deku, Shoto thrusted his left hand forward, blasting a torrent of flames down the hallway towards a group of sprinting Slashers. Their bodies ignited instantly, leaving nothing but scorched black husks of burnt flesh and bone. He retracted his arm, and turned around in time to scorch another Slasher that attempted to pounce at him from behind. The Slasher emitted a scream as its skin burned away and melted under the intense heat.

The creature fell on its back, thrashing its elongated arms around, trying desperately to get out of the burning pain. Shoto stepped over to it, raising his hand again and blasted another torrent of flame at it. The Slasher shrieked, its limbs twitching in agony, then it stopped moving. Its charred corpse lay still on the carpet floor.

Shoto stepped back and watched the monster's corpse burn in silence. The flames danced through the liquid that had settled within the eye sockets. The greasy smell of seared fat was thick in the air; Shoto caught his breath to avoid tasting it.

"I think that's the last of them." Izuku said, approaching Shoto from behind.

"What are these things, Midoriya?" Shoto asked, not removing his eyes from the charred corpse. Izuku shook his head.

"I don't know… but they're definitely not human." Izuku said, staring at the burnt remains.

"Yeah, no crap Sherlock."

Izuku and Shoto looked over their shoulder, and saw Bakugou approaching them.

"These ugly freaks are no different than the Nomus we dealt with." Bakugou spat at the corpse, kicking it in disgust. "But what I want to know is where the hell are these things coming from?"

"Well, these creatures have to have come from a source somewhere. And if we can find out what kind of source, then maybe we can figure out how to counteract them." Izuku theorized.

"But we'll have to find it, right?" Shoto questioned, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, but for now we should focus on finding the others," Izuku replied, reaching for his walkie-talkie.

Before his thumb pressed the side button, his walkie-talkie crackled to life. Bits of syllables flew through the speaker but after a few seconds the words became clear enough to understand.

"Deku? Deku, are you there?"

Uraraka!

"Uraraka-San. Yes, I'm here! So are Kachan and Todoroki!" Izuku called back quickly. A sigh could be heard through the speaker.

"Thank goodness. Where are you?" Uraraka asked.

Izuku scanned his surroundings.

"I'm not sure actually, my only guess is we're in some kind of outside section." Izuku replied, glancing up the length of the hallway he, Shoto, and Bakugou were standing on. "What about you?"

"We're in an elevator right now. But Deku, you have to be careful. There are terrifying monsters roaming around the place!"

Izuku chuckled. "Yeah, I know. We ran into them. But we took them out, so we're okay."

The ring of a bell sounded through the hallway as Izuku and his friends turned their gaze towards an elevator not too far from them. A group exited out of said elevator and shifted their heads towards Izuku. Izuku felt a smile spread across his face as he recognized them. Uraraka, Tsuyu, Momo, Mina, Toru, and Jiro approached him and his friends.

Izuku blinked. There was someone else among the girls. His smile dropped slightly. This figure trailed behind the girls, aiming their strange weapon around with caution. The figure was clad in a suit from head to toe, one that Izuku had never seen before. He found the suit cool looking; it looked like something out of a video game.

With Momo's assistance in translation, the gentleman in the suit cordially presented himself as Issac Clarke, a previous engineer of ship systems. He proceeded to provide a more detailed explanation to him and his friends regarding the entities they had recently encountered, known as Necromorphs. These abominations are the result of mutated corpses being grotesquely reshaped by an extraterrestrial infection, which is derived from a genetic code inscribed within an artifact referred to as the Marker. Isaac noted that these creatures exhibit an exceedingly aggressive nature, indiscriminately attacking any uninfected organism they come across.

"The only way to end all of this is to find the Marker and destroy it; otherwise… this nightmare will never end." Isaac said. Izuku shuddered. He could feel his own skin crawling, hearing that statement through Mimi's translation.

"So where is this Marker?" Jiro asked. Isaac sighed, his shoulders sagging in exasperation.

"If I knew, my waypoint would have led us there by now." Isaac replied, his tone weary. "All I know for certain is that it lies somewhere around this station. So we'll just—"

Isaac paused. His earpiece radio crackled to life. He turned away from the kids and brought his hand up to his earpiece.

"Isaac? You there?"

A voice came through. Isaac nodded and lowered his hand from his ear.

"Yeah Daina, I'm here. What is it?" Isaac responded.

"You got to keep moving and stay low. Tiedemen and his men are still looking for you." Daina warned.

Isaac shifted his gaze to the charred Slasher on the floor.

"There are necromorphs everywhere, is the entire Sprawl infected?! How did this happen? The Marker was destroyed, Daina. I destroyed it!" Isaac exclaimed in frustration.

"You destroyed A Marker, Isaac. Tiedemann built another one." She corrected through via radio.

Bakugou raised a brow at Isaac.

"Who the hell is he talking to..?" Bakugou muttered to himself.

"Shh." Izuku hissed, ignoring Kachan's glare.

"On this station? Why?" Isaac inquired.

"It's powerful alien technology; Tiedemann wants that power. Get to the tram. It'll take you to the Cassini Towers Tram Station..."

Her last words didn't register as they faded to static.

Issac blinked. "Daina? Dammit."

"Who was that?" Momo asked, looking at Isaac curiously. Isaac turned back to the group.

"That was Daina, the only one trying to get me out of this damn place, as well as holding the cure that can cure me." Isaac replied, checking his ammunition.

A profound and dreadful roar resounded throughout the corridor. The walls trembled humbly in reaction. Uraraka and Mina embraced one another, overcome with fear and in response to the distant roar. Momo and Jiro stiffened, while Tsuyu expressed concern with a croak. Izuku gazed uncertainly at Bakugou and Todoroki, clenching his hands into fists.

Izuku had faced the Nomu back in the USJ and almost got crushed from its massive strength, but he had never been afraid like this. Never.

"Oh man, that can't be good." Isaac uttered under his breath. Jiro turned her gaze towards.

"What was that?" Jiro wondered.

"Something I hope we don't encounter later down the road." Isaac answered.

Izuku's eyes narrowed with determination.

"We need to find the others, they could be in danger. Probably fighting these monsters for all we know." Izuku declared, turning his body towards the group.

"But where would we begin to look? I mean, this place is big." Shoto pointed out.

"Well we're not gonna find them if we continue sitting here doing crap, let's go." Bakugou stated, rolling his body around and started forward towards the door down the hall.

"Kachan, wait!" Izuku shouted as he trailed after him. Shoto and the girls followed the pair, with Isaac trailing at the rear.

Isaac stared at the kids in wonderment.

Okay, I have so many questions, Isaac thought, but I'll save them for later. Just until I help find these kids' friends.

The group entered through the door and proceeded forward.
