Chapter 18: The Final War Part 2
He now felt a little lightheaded and as far as he could tell, it was still dark as day, but that was only because his eyes were closed. It felt like he had just survived the world's fastest rollercoaster. Ben Tennyson was gradually coming to, but his head was still a little foggy as he started to describe what had happened before. When he and the others were about to defeat the alien warlord Zone, the enormous head of the Novatrons, he remembered seeing a bright light, and then nothing more; he must have been unconscious for some time. His entire body was fastened to some sort of operating chamber when he turned around to see where he was. This was similar to what happened to him when Vilgax attempted to remove the Omnitrix from Ben when he was 10 years old.
Ben asked himself, "Hey, where am I?"
As if on cue, a doorway opened, and another Novatron entered. Unlike the others, he was lanky in build and wore what seemed like a lab coat in dark navy blue colors. He also had a sickly appearance that unnerved him. He smiles menacingly and says, "Ah, I saw you've woken my specimens, and now I was thinking I'd have to use those shock wires in order to wake you."
Ben grunted "Who are you?"
The scientist started to circle the room while laughing. "I oversee all scientific and technological research for the Novatron race, so please don't be so hostile, Professor Nelius. And in case you're wondering how you got here, my supreme master, Emperor Zone, has a teleportation device that he uses to transport people and objects to other locations, but it's very complicated and can only work on one person at a time before recharging.
Ben questioned, "And where exactly is it here?"
Ben could now see that the room he was trapped in was some sort of laboratory. There were a variety of chemical mixtures and devices, but what really caught his attention were the saw-like devices and cutting equipment on various trays. G'Zon chose to simply show him by pushing a button, turning on the lights. 'While you can, try to get comfortable. Because, I can guarantee you, things are about to become slightly unpleasant."
Ben didn't even seem nervous; he just smirked. "We'll see about that. "Omnitrix Humungousaur," Ben said as he was about to transform into a Humungousaur, but it wasn't working. "Hey, I can't transform."
Ben's futile attempt to flee was met with a shrug from Nelius. "Oh my you inadequate kid, see we're studying the power source of the Omnitrix system in your efforts to put an end to our invasion. Emperor Zone assigned me to come up with countermeasures against your Omnitrix. he chuckled. "It helps that I've been tinkering with devices designed to dampen your Omnitrix so that way you can't transform and attempt to escape, but you'll never escape from here, my young friend. Now, shall we begin the experiment?"
Ben was only able to gaze at the scientist with hatred, but he seemed unfazed. He exclaimed, "You and your Emperor won't get away with this!" "My friends will show up and they'll make you regret it,"
This didn't disturb Nelius in the least. Ben screamed in agony as he was electro-shocked, and he also made empty threats to remove the Omnitrix from Ben's left wrist. Both of these incidents filled the room. Nelius then appears to be staring out the window onto the infinite reaches of space, or more specifically, he was staring at the blue planet below him where the mothership just so happened to be, saying, "Empty threats of harm, lad. In any rate, you deserve to be less worried for your well-being, because I will enjoy learning what makes you tick and remove the Omnitrix painfully."
The team was on edge as they faced Zone; they had earlier believed they had the upper hand over the Emperor until their teammate and friend Ben Tennyson vanished right before their eyes. Zone chuckled sinisterly as he smiled at them, taking pleasure in their anxiety and fear over the possible repercussions of what he had just done. It felt good to him. Rex said, ready to draw his BFS, "Alright creep, spill it, just what did you do to our friend?!"
"Like I already told you, humans. Ben Tennyson is somewhere that nobody else would attempt to go, if they are granted a death wish, and although I wouldn't be worried about him right now, you people still have to deal with me, and now I'm ready to show you my full power!" he roared.
Jack's eyes grew narrower. "Explain yourself,"
He pulled out a syringe with red liquid and injected it forcefully into his arm without thinking, "I have only been fighting you with a fraction of the power Nelius serum holds, it is time for me to show you the power of the emperor of the Novatrons!" As soon as the mysterious substance entered into his system, red veins began to spread throughout his entire body, and his muscle mass quickly increased. To their astonishment, as his shadow hung over them, he rose to towering heights and his silver skin started to split, revealing an underlying red skin beneath. Their feet were shaken by his unearthly roar, which he let loose.
Aang and Jake exhaled in a mixture of amazement and dread, "Aw man..."
Marco shivered, his legs shaking, "This is bad...!"
Zone approached them all while grinning ominously. He clapped his hands together, producing an intense sound wave that sent them all reeling. "Now you shall feel the punishment of standing against the might of the Novatrons!" he cried. Danny fired a green ecto energy as he charged towards them, but Zone caught him and repeatedly threw him to the ground before letting go of him. Danny cried out in pain.
Randy yelled, "Danny, No!" as he leaped high and unleashed his katana to slash Zone. To Randy's shock, Zone grabbed the blade and broke it into pieces with a single squeeze as he took another swing. Rex then tried to help Randy form his boogie pack, but Zone grabbed the wings and pulled them apart from him, causing him to fall to the ground. Zone then attempted to stamp on Rex, but Rex utilized the Block Party to shield himself, but with each strike, the shield began to weaken. "Hey guys, not to be pushy, but I could use some help here!"
"Rex, I got you! Flame Star Storm! Zone ran over and grabbed Star and hauled her up, despite the Mewman princess shooting a variety of burning stars at him.
He mocked, "Pathetic Mewman." "You're still but a child, not even a fraction of the power the queen I fought used!"
"Star!" Marco yelled, opening a vortex to reach his arms, where he seized his closest companion and yanked her out. The two became locked in the alien leader's hand as he began to squeeze the life out of them, causing the two best friends to groan in anguish. "Let her go!" he yelled, straining as he gained a firm hold on her.
Two missiles struck him before he could continue, and Steven and Boone, who stood back up, took them away to safety. Hey horrible, be careful around our buddies!Jenny continued to launch missiles, but they just served to anger him and did not even come close to penetrating his thick skin. He then began to approach the robot girl gently. Jenny flew out of the way and managed to escape his punch, but before he could pursue her, diamond pillars encircled the area and imprisoned him.
Danny, who had backed him, had largely recovered from his beating when he called up pillars from the earth. He unleashed an ecto energy blast, saying, "Okay pal, you got some lucky shots in, but now it's my turn!" but to his shock, it seemed like a toddler was throwing little pebbles at him. Ilana, who was assisting him, shot a focused laser from her headgear, but that was ineffective against him as well. Lance also offered no help by firing many bullets at him.
Lance grumbled inside his armor, "It's worthless. No matter what we throw at him, he just stands there.
Zone got down on one knee and shielded himself with his large arms as Max yelled, "Then hope you don't mind some extra firepower!" as he fired heat shots at Zone. Aang and Ashi joined him by using Aang's earthbending and Ashi eye beams in a combined attack. They all poured more onto the assault when, much to their amazement, he started to stand back up and moved forward toward the squad without faltering. Aang exclaimed, "Man, what's this dude made of?!"
"It's useless," Ilana yelled. "We need to,"
She was interrupted when Zone spread his arms behind him and smacked his hands together, sending everyone flying and landing a few miles from Zone. Max had to switch back to base mode because so much Turbo energy had been expended, and Ilana's and Lance's armor vanished as well. He made a powerful leap into the air, landing directly over their collapsed bodies.
Given what you comprehend, it is futile to resist the power of the Novatrons. Without the mighty Ben Tennyson on your side, everything who had ever opposed us met their ends in the cruelest way conceivable; we burned their homes, their loved ones to ash, created their own strengths, and since it has become clear that you all are going to keep fighting me, then death awaits you." He started to move towards them to make them pay for impeding his plants when a laser blast stopped him. "Humans! "
Solomon's voice came through the communicator, "Everyone, get safe!"
Ilana asked groggily as Lance pulled her to her feet, "Solomon?"
Can any of you still carry on? I've been watching your entire battle; you put up a respectable fight, but once he transformed I had to step in.
Max massaged his aching temples. I might need to recharge a little before I could attack it with all of my might because I was a little winded from utilizing too much Turbo energy.
Jack said to everyone, "We have to retreat. He would certainly overwhelm us if we didn't regroup and come up with a fresh strategy."
Danny admitted, "I'm not usually one to dash away...but I believe we might need a break or two."
Kim stated frantically, "We'll need something to cover our escape!"
A black pellet was retrieved by Randy. He flung it on the ground and shouted, "Way ahead of you. Smoke bomb!" The squad was covered in a plume of red smoke, but most of them immediately began coaching after smelling it.
Jake said, "Dang it, Randy! You know I hate those things!"
Aang said, "Ew, those smell like farts.
Randy said, "Let's just go!"
While the G3 forces stayed behind to divert Zone from pursuing them, the smoke bomb provided the squad a chance to narrowly escape to a nearby cave. Despite this, their spirits were not in the best of shape. They gave it their all, but the Novatronian emperor proved to be a formidable foe, especially with that serum of his. It also didn't help that one of their own had been kidnapped from them; the location of the alien's transport, though, remained a mystery. They were tending to some minor injuries they had received inside the cave when Solomon materialized as a hologram in Octus' yellow optic.
"Even though my troops are employing powerful weapons to repel the monster, his inherent strength and might are too great." Solomon said.
Cat Noir folded his arms and said, "Yeah, no kidding." Sure, the guy was tough before, but after taking the serum, he's too much for everyone.
Jenny gently massaged her metal arms. When she notices these things, "Mom will completely freak out."
Ladybug looked down and said, "Ben could have figured a way."
A feeling of dread was written all over Aang's face as he touched his arm. He hesitated to continue, "What has actually happened to Ben? Is he..."
Jake gave a defiant head shake. "No way. Ben's way too strong for him to be knocked down such that, in addition to that creep who confirmed it himself, he basically teleported out to...somewhere."
Lance retorted, "Or maybe it was simply to play with us, and he really is dead.
Rex gave him a glare. He said, "Wow, can you be a little more sensitive?"
Lance sent back a glare. He suggested, "I'm just being realistic; why trust the word of a creature like Zone anyway? The best thing to do is maybe to call for reinforcements, like Galalunia, for example."
Ilana looked helpless as she shook her head. "Who's to say that if my father and our people were involved in this bloodshed, Lance, they wouldn't experience the same thing?"
Steel drew everyone's attention by raising his hand and saying, "Excuse me, if you'd like me to chime in." Seeing their puzzled looks, he said, "I can actually check if Ben is dead or not. The ultra link displayed a hologram of the solar system. "See, I scan everything that I see, and after Ben disappeared, I started scanning for any trails to follow, and though it was faint, I managed to pick up something." "Zone wasn't lying, the energy I picked up was similar to the kind of energy you would expect from a teleportation device."
Everyone was relieved to hear it, but one thing perplexed them all. Ashi questioned, "If that's the case, where did he go?"
Steel showed them the familiar image of Zone's personal warship and said, "From what I can tell, his precise location is just above Earth's atmosphere, or if you want me to be specific; he's right here." By all indications, Ben is undoubtedly stuck inside this warship somewhere."
Max speculated, "So he's in the bad guy's ship, probably full of traps and guards." "Why didn't I think of that?"
Without Ben, the team could not compete with Zone, especially in his powered form. With Ben's assistance, the chances might swing in their favor. Jack massaged his chin in reflection. There was only one thing left to do since they couldn't just dump Ben to whatever destiny awaited him in the cruiser or leave the G3 forces to their destined fate at the hands of the Novatron supreme leader. He spoke out, drawing everyone's attention, "We must save him. "Our strength comes from our numbers, and without Tennyson, we are missing a crucial member of our team, and once again he is our comrade, it is our responsibility to rescue him. The plan is to split up into two teams, one of which will travel into space to save Zone while the other stays on Earth to stall Zone until we reunite. "
As they considered the samurai's strategy, the others turned to face one another. Ashi kissed her fiance on the cheek, "If you think it's the best option Jack, then I agree."
Danny enquired, "So what's the call?"
Jack started to list out the members of the rescue team, "If this battleship is as dangerous as we fear, then I recommend we use members who are less conspicuous." Cat Noir, Ladybug, Zak, Kim, Ron, El Tigre, Randy, Sashi, Penn, Boone, Marco, and myself will go and rescue Tennyson. Anyone else who has more destructive abilities needs to stay here and keep Zone at bay until we make it back." He questioned the hologram, "Does that sound okay with you, Solomon?"
"Hmm, it's a little risky, but at this point, I might as well take any suggestions. But it doesn't matter what I think, the choice is up to you all."
Zak crossed his arms and said, "Ben is my friend, so of course I'm in." And let's face it, if we all go against Zone together, we'll have no chance against that creep.
Lance concurred, saying, "I admit, it's a sound plan." So, I suppose we're all in.
Ron put up a hand. "But how will the rescue crew get all the way to space, you ask?
"However, it's in our headquarters, so those of you going on the rescue mission will have to board one of our ships at your current location and come here. I'll have my people prepare the ship until you arrive, but until then I suggest you prepare yourselves. Fortunately, I can help you with that."
His hologram vanished at that point, and the heroes calmly awaited the transport ship. Jack said, "Okay, the ship should be here soon, so everyone is coming with me, get ready," as he and the others prepared to leave but were stopped by Ashi, who gave him a stern look.
She said to him, "I don't like the thought of not going with you.
Jack cast a sad gaze towards the direction of his life's passion. He informed her as they kissed tenderly, "I know, and I wish I could stay, but someone needs to save one of our comrades. Stay safe and watch the others' backs."
Afterward, Zak walked over to Rex, Max, and Steel and stated, "Don't worry, I won't be back until Ben is rescued."
"I know dude, but we always have our back," Rex remarked.
"I'm with Rex on that one," Max said.
Likewise, dude," Steel said.
made her feel the urge to talk to him. Marco stopped and turned to face her when she murmured, "Marco, wait up." He had enough on his plate already, so she made the decision to just give him some advice. "Listen, in case something happens, I-I just want to say,..." she pleaded with him. She swiftly added, giving him a hug, "Stay safe up there and please come back to me...and everyone is back on our Earth.
Star grinned at this show, which caused her to long for her best buddy and made her feel the urge to talk to him. Marco stopped and turned to face her when she murmured, "Marco, wait up." Marco grinned and gave the hug back. Star, I want you to know that despite this being the utmost dangerous and insane adventure we've been on, which is saying a lot, there's no one I'd rather be fighting by than you, he said her with all sincerity. "Just as long as you don't get wasted by Zone.
Star offered him a surprise kiss on the cheek after hearing that, which caused her eyes to start to well up with tears. She told him, "Good luck."
The Mewman princess gives him lots of hugs, but a kiss was admittedly new to him. He stood there in shock as he caressed the cheek where she kissed him. "Thanks?" Randy then seized his hood and began to drag him along.
With a playful tone, the ninja said, "Okay Marco, let's get going." You deserve praise for dating a princess, my friend."
Marco was startled out of his initial coma by that. "What?! No, she's my best friend, I already have a girlfriend!"
Randy responded, "Heh, whatever you say."
Those who stayed behind witnessed the rescue squad stealthily board a G3 transport ship and take off for the floating command center. The American dragon, Rex, Star, Steven, Aang, June, and the Titan trio were all determined to buy their friends enough time to get Ben back when Ashi said, "All right everyone, they'll do their part; now it's time for us to do the same." Danny, in ghost form, then Jenny and Max Steel in flight mode, then all of them took off using their thrusters, and Star and June were riding in Cloudy while Aang gilded and Steven was in his pink state flying.
The rescue party quickly made their way to G3's floating headquarters because it was close to the battleground. Solomon was waiting for them there and had watched as the transport ship touched down on the hangar. As they disembarked, he directed them to follow him. "The spacecraft we've prepared for you is built with indestructible metal and advanced weaponry giving you a decent offense and defense, but I should warn you that the communication hasn't exactly been updated yet, so when you get there, contact with Earth will be nearly impossible."
Sashi stated sarcastically, "All that tech and you couldn't include a communication device?"
Solomon kept a level head. As they arrived at the location of the ship, he said, "Well, it's still a prototype, we'll work out the minor problems when this is all over. But, she can still fly and can take a punch so if I were you, I'd take what I can get."
The primary color was a basic gray one as this one was still experimental, and the craft resembled a highly advanced streamline jet with a forward-swept wing shape. It was large enough to even take other vehicles in addition to the passengers. The team members approached the main entrance, which automatically opened. Jack took the pilot's seat while the others sat in the passengers' seats, allowing them to enter the cockpit, which from the looks of things appeared to be large enough to fit every member of their crew. Boone said as he melted into his seat, "Cozy."
Manny questioned, "You sure you can pilot something like this, Jack?"
Jack smiled as he nodded. The samurai warrior put his hands on the main controls and hit a button, igniting the thrusters. "Don't worry, my young friend. I've had practice before."
"Countdown has begun. Launch will occur at 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Blast off!"
Solomon's voice was suddenly audible as the ship gently rose from its platform and shot into the sky at great speed. Jack said, "There should be a switch near the pilot, it'll activate the ship's stealth mode." When he did, the entire ship vanished from view, flying far into the sky without anybody knowing, especially not Zone. They soon lost sight of the sky above Earth and began to see the stars in outer space.
As she and some of the others gasped in awe at the scene, Ladybug exhaled, "Wow." I find it hard to believe we are actually in space.
Randy showed his best pal a photo as evidence, saying, "Howard will never believe this."
Then Zak Saturday noticed something in the distance. they soon could see an unknown item just ahead of them and said, "Save the sightseeing for later, I think I found our objective." It was none other than Zone's own warship, which was threateningly orbiting just above the planet. For a time, it didn't appear to be able to identify their ship, which was fortunate, but it still paid to be cautious.
Ron questioned, "Uh guys, have we figured out a way to get into that ship?"
When they got a better look, they could clearly see that it was trash from the trash airlock, including robots and broken tanks. The ship waited until the lock opened and entered silently without announcing itself to any Novatron personnel. Kim said, "I got a decent idea." They all exited the ship and silently made their way through the interior after Jack safely landed it on an open area while the ship turned on its gravity lock to prevent it from being ejected along with all the trash inside. Jack gave the Miraculous holders the go-ahead to scout ahead after they located an entrance, and they did so. When the door automatically opened, a guard went in, but when he did, the two costumed heroes knocked him out and gave the others the all-clear signal. Cat Noir was also prepared with his staff, and Ladybug had her Yo-Yo ready.
They were shielded from view of any sentries monitoring the area while Marco opened a portal to move them close to the door and out to the main corridor, which was largely unoccupied. Ron replied, not knowing where to look, "This ship is way too big, it'll take us forever to find Ben."
Zak had to concur with him, but suddenly something at the end of the hallway drew his attention. He hurried to the end and connected the console with his hand-held gadget, looked at the information he obtained causing his eyes to expand, then muttered back, "Hang back a sec, I got to check something else." Once everyone caught up he showed them what he had uncovered, telling them to "Get over here, you'll want to see this." "Look at it, this console functions as a manifest for the entire war ship, outlining all of its strengths and weaknesses as well as, more importantly, a reference to removing the Omnitrix in a lab of some sort."
Sashi concluded, "That must be Ben."
Penn screamed, "We have to find that lab."
Cat Noir questioned, "Does it say where this science lab is?"
Zak shrugged, not understanding how things could go wrong. "In fact, it's not that far from here, as long as we stick to stealth, this should be fairly quick."
Boone grinned. He unintentionally leaned on a button that was painted on a wall, causing red lights to flash all throughout the ship. "Now that's good for us, we get an easy job."
The phrase "Intruder Alert!"
Everyone shouted, "Boone!"
The overweight youngster winced and meekly twiddled his thumbs. Oh, I'm sorry. That was my fault.
When someone shouted "Freeze!" Everyone turned to the right to see a number of Novatron sentries appear with readied blasters.
Ladybug pulled out her Yo-Yo and twirled it around to make a barrier to defend herself and her buddies from the laser fire, thinking, "I guess stealth is out of the question." Sashi and Boone used their wrist lasers to provide cover fire while Penn advanced toward the sentinels while holding up his own shield. The young hero sliced the weapons with the help of Kim and Sashi, who then subdued the other guards. Then Randy and Jack entered the room, slashing and swinging, with El Tigre using his chain claws to throw one across the room and Zak dodging the blasts as he used the Claw to smash them against the walls. This forced Ron to use his enhanced speed to tackle the sentries up close and personal.
Penn muttered, dodging a laser fire, "We're wasting time with these punks!" Zak, you mentioned something about the adjacent science lab.
The Saturday kid said, "It should be right there around that corner." They all hurried with him to rescue and save their lost comrade and teammate, shouting, "Follow me!"
Nelius shouted angrily at the sentry guard who came to inform the scientist of the latest violation of their security, "Intruders! What do you mean, intruders?!" Even though he put up a brave front that if someone managed to sneak aboard, he was secretly afraid since he in no way was a fighter like the sentries, he yelled, "Are you small minded brutes not supposed to make sure no other beings besides our own people manage to infiltrate our master's personal vessel?!"
Ben could hear his captor's anguish from the operation table and knew that his friends would arrive to rescue him. He was mocked with a sneer, "Aw, what's the matter? Had a little trouble having a few stowaways?"
Nelius scowled angrily as he turned to face Ben. He commanded the sentry, turning back to him, "Mind your tongue, human." He added grimly, not wanting to suffer the same fate as General Lanius, "Go out there, and I don't care if you have to call reinforcements from our home world, make sure those sub-species don't get in here, or Emperor Zone will have all of our heads! My head!" The scientist could now turn his attention to his victim when the sentry left to carry out his duty, but he growled when he caught that smug expression. "Your comrades may have discovered a way onboard, but don't imagine for a second that they would bravely save you. Don't look so Confident, Kid."
Ben responded, "And what's going to stop them? Your goon squad?" I don't want to be the one to tell you you're losing this fight, but I'm going to do it nevertheless. My friends have taken down scores of them, even those big robots, yet we still managed to win. Of course there's the whole taking control of your fortresses.
Nelius scratched Ben on the left side of his face after becoming furious.
Ben yelled "AAAAAHHHHHHH!" as Nelius scraped the left side of his face, leaving a scar there.
"You can try to insult the power of the Novatrons all you want, but the outcome will remain the same." Nelius said as he activated the saw machine and it slowly descended down on Ben. Ben could only close his eyes as the chamber was designed to neutralize his Omnitrix, so there was nothing he could do to stop the saw from cutting up his left wrist. However, before either he or Nelius realized it, the door was busted open when the previous sentry was thrown across the room.
The rescue squad barged in from the hallways and discovered their comrade on the operation table. Penn commanded his girlfriend to "blast the saw," and she did so. After it was destroyed by a wrist laser, Penn punched Nelius in the face to knock him out. Running, Zak released the chains holding his teammate down.
Guys," Ben said as Zak assisted him.
Zak shrugged. He led his comrade to the exit where everyone was waiting, and behind them were different Novatron sentries who were either blasted, sliced, or otherwise beaten into submission. "Hey, excuse me for dealing with an overpowered alien and trying to find a way into space and rescue your sorry side." Oh, and we also had to deal with them in some way.
Jack asked Ben, "Ben, are you alright, your face?" as he examined the scar on his left side of the face. Jack then tore some parts of his GI into a bandage to cover Ben's scar, although the scar would remain there forever.
Ben then responded by nodding. "I'm a little queasy, but I can handle it. How did you guys locate me on this huge ship?"
Zak extended his gadget. He laughed, but it gave Kim an idea: "With a little hijacking of the ship's entire schematics, it was easy. Heck, I could tell you where the main engine room is."
The girl who can do anything developed a sly grin and asked, "Engine room, you say?" She questioned, "Guys, how do you like the sound of industrial sabotage?"
Although Zak took a time, everyone could tell what she was contemplating. Kim, I like your way of thinking.
As the group reached the entrance of the ship's engine room, Zak exclaimed, "Okay, this is it." He then pulled out round disk-shaped objects and gave them to Randy, Penn, and Kim. We'll have Marco tear open a portal near the ship after it goes down, and from there we should be able to return to Earth quickly. "Once we place these detonators on the main weak points, it should be enough to cause enough damage to make this thing go down," said the scientist.
Kim turned to the others and asked, "In the meantime, think you guys can make sure to make sure to stand guard in case Novatrons comes along?"
Ron ad libbed. "KP, don't worry. We've got your back."
After clearing things up, the scientist, adolescent spy, ninja, and full-time hero blasted through the door and peered inside the engine room, which contained a gigantic cylinder gadget shining with what appeared to be blue-like light; this was undoubtedly the power source that propelled this ship.
Once they had installed the Saturday detonators and the energy regulators that supplied the source with its enormous amounts of energy, the heroes lost no time exiting the engine room and fleeing as far away as they could. When Zak depressed the detonation device's button, the devices inside the engine room began to beep frantically and, within seconds, they all exploded in a blaze of flame.
These subsequent explosions shook the spacecraft, destroying the main power source and causing all other engines to fail. The Novatrons on board were knocked off their feet, and the ship slowly started to lose its position in space. Everyone was swiftly transferred to the ship's location in the garbage room when Marco hastily opened a portal. El Tigre urged everyone to enter the ship, saying, "The whole place is burning, amigos, let's go!"
Ben sat down in the passenger seat and said, "Huh, nice ride."
As they all watched the battleship start to plummet to the Earth below, Boone muttered, "And there she goes," and then a particular thought entered his head. Hey, I wonder how everyone else is doing.
The rest of the group was left with the difficult task of holding off the Novatron leader long enough for the rescue team to return with Danny. This task was made even more difficult by how powerful the psychopath who was instigating the alien war was. But at that point, they had to put their fears aside if they were going to survive this epic battle. Everyone was flying over to the same battleground where they had their altercation with Zone. At that time, the field was covered in wrecked tanks and jets as well as the dead bodies of the unfortunate G3 soldiers who had tried their hardest to push Zone back. The team made a promise to themselves that their deaths wouldn't be in vain after they were done with this battle.
Speaking of such a monster, he stood victorious after defeating the G3 agents and then glared menacingly at the group. He pointed at the bodies and said, "Ah, so you've decided to come meet the same fate as these lesser life forms." But then he saw something. It appears that a small number of you had the foresight to abandon ship and flee; if you were any brighter, you would follow the same."
Zone was sent flying back a few yards when Danny fired an ecto beam at him, saying, "Well get's what creep we're not known for giving up." Zone shouted "Strike one!" and then charged at them. He may have underestimated him the first time, but Rex now knows he shouldn't be timid. Rex flew in front of him as the Punk Busters began to mercilessly hit the alien in the face. Aang then uses his airbending to blow the enemy up after Jenny joins in by launching missiles at the enemy with one hand and a laser weapon with the other.
Zone tried to grab Rex but Rex moved away to escape his hold, leaving him open for an attack by Ashi who unleashed a loud sonic scream from her mouth, this scream was much louder than Echo Echo's and it made his ears bleed. Zone's anger was beginning to soar at this point as he had had enough of these fools' constant resistance. Star yelled, "Crystal Prison Blast!" as she and June launched a beam of blue and purple light at Zone, encasing him in a crystallized prison.
Cracks began to develop, though, and the war lord was able to escape with a powerful roar. Jake and Aang then utilized their fire powers, and Jake scratched the war lord with his dragon claws, which only irritated him. Lance tried to hold him off with missile grenades from his armor, but he charged at Lance
Lance and Zone then got into a fight over who would be able to overpower the other, but Lance couldn't care less who won; he was only interested in providing Ilana with a chance to shoot the alien with three laser beam shots from the arms and headpiece. Steven then appeared to block Lance's punches with his pink state. Zone was then imprisoned by Octus inside an electric bubble that shocked him from the inside out. With one punch, Zone was able to escape, but Danny then delivered an ecto fist, which struck Zone and caused him to be grabbed from behind and begin to charge up. He shouted to the others, "Everyone, stand clear from this next attack!" as he launched a strong ecto beam, which caused a big explosion. When the smoke cleared, they saw Zone start to lose his balance a little and kneel.
"Go Turbo! Rocket!"
Then Max Steel grabbed him by the waist and dragged him into the air, where from where he was, all of his companions appeared to be little dots. His partner and best friend disengaged from his torso and said, "Okay, it's time to end this! right Steel?"
"You got that right, buddy! Go Turbo! Copy!" Steel said as he transformed into a smaller version of Rocket Mode. They both pointed their cannons at Zone and charged up a lot of Turbo Energy so that this single strike would be effective. They then blasted Zone with an intense amount of Turbo Energy, sending him flying all the way to the ground. Zone was left in the center of a large crater that he had left behind.
He had never once felt tired, and right now, his rage was beginning to flare to an amazing degree. He sprang up and yelled, "You ingrates!"
The others rushed up to Max and Steel as they touched down, and they all turned to face the crater as they did so. Jake grumbled, "Man, what's a guy gotta do to bring this fool down?"
Zone yelled, "You believe you can win?!" I. Am. ZONE! the emperor of the Novatrons! Trillions have fallen by my own and my race's hands! We are the mightiest of warriors, there are no one alive that has even the strength to stop us and our mission, that you will die like so many before you, and after I'm finished with you as well as the Omnitrix in my grasp, every race of the multiverse will know of the horror that the Novatrons have brought upon them." Then Zone hears something. "What the hell is that noise, anyway?"
That was a good topic.
Aang looked up and his eyes quickly opened in complete amazement as he heard what had at first appeared to be a faint whistling sound develop into a sort of flaming blaze. However, there was nothing nearby, at least not on the ground. The others were equally astounded when he pointed up and said, "Um...guys."
In several situations, Zone maintained a stoic look that demonstrated how composed and level-headed he can be in a crisis. There wasn't much that could readily surprise him. This was not one of those times, for high in the sky, a fiery metal ball was descending to the Earth, or more precisely, to where they were. Rex questioned, his eyes locked to the sky, "Is that the creep's warship coming down like a meteor?"
Steven responded, "Yup."
Ashi asked, "And is it dropping towards where we're at? Which will certainly be an absolute disaster once it lands."
Octus nodded, "That would be a fair assumption.
Steven responded, "Yup."

Steel's servos clapped. He hastily yelled, "Well, this may have been great and everything, but I believe it might be in every one of our best interests if we immediately...GET THE HECK TO SAFETY!"
No one needed to be reminded twice as they hurried to ensure that the spacecraft wouldn't crash and render any of them into smoking ruins of their dead corpses. Zone was the only one who did not attempt to avoid the impending collision. He remained where he was as he continued to watch the flaming ball that had once been his own ship and had helped him win battles across countless worlds descend upon him. He will never forget this.
When the ship touched down on the field, it exploded and sent up a dust storm that engulfed the surrounding region. When the dust cleared, Danny and his buddies lowered their force fields to shield themselves. They all peered behind him to see the battle ship's wreckage, which was in pieces all over the place. Danny observed, "Well, that certainly provides bringing the house down an all different meaning."
Ilana quickly recalled, fearing that if any of them were on board when the ship sank, " Wait a minute wasn't anyone else mentioning they were going to board the warship!"
The sound of a familiar voice, "That we did, princess," caused them to look up and be even more shocked when they saw Ben flying beside a very impressive-looking spacecraft in his Chromastone form. Once he transformed back and the jet landed, the rest of the squad evacuated out. We could have contributed to the warship's collision with Earth.
"Ben, Zak!" Rex exclaimed, As he, Max, and Steel walk forward to their friends "You guys did it, congrats!"
Ron replied, his arm around Kim's waist, "None here, dude."
Marco almost fell back when Star gave him a bone-crushing hug, "Marco, you're safe! And you made an alien spaceship crash land. Oh, you're making me so jealous!"
Her best friend/secret crush started to blush for some reason. "Heh, sure. Glad to hear that you're ok Star."
Jack and Ashi kissed and hugged each other. The half demon said with relief, "Thank God you made it back.
The samurai gave her a friendly smile. "You came back to me, so it's only fair that I did the same."
Manny questioned, "So...we did win, right?"
Boone shrugged. "I have no idea. Why don't we ask the voice that is currently wailing in agony?
It turned out that he was correct. They cautiously moved to investigate the source, which turned out to be none other than Zone himself limp, his enhanced form reverting to his previous standard one that was more weakly, and his eyes were open in a numb manner. There was a loud, painful groaning sound nearby. Steven grimaced, "I guess there's not much fight left in him."
Ben Tennyson said, "He seems less quite as tough now."
Ilana exhaled and said, "Guys...we did it." A big smile appeared on her face. We succeeded, she exclaimed. It didn't take long for everyone to immediately celebrate their triumph after the rest understood what she had to say. Ron yelled a Boo-Yah as he swung Kim around, making her chuckle. There For Tomorrow (Ben, Rex, Zak, Max, and Steel) exchanged fist bumps and high fives with the Secret Trio, Jenny, and Manny. Even Lance couldn't help but smile as everyone else celebrated their win over the Novatron emperor and how they had therefore saved the entire multiverse. This was especially true given that Ilana had just joyously given him a hug.
They all turned to look at Professor Paradox, who was beaming, "Well, good work! All of you!" With happy expressions on their faces, Clockwork, Bunnix, Phylis, Phil, and the spiritual offspring of the three gods stood beside him. "I must say, you all have done a fantastic job. I won't lie, though, when Benjamin was taken, I was quite worried, but we never once doubted any of you,".
Clockwork floated over to Zone's unconscious body. "Your arrogance will be your downfall, I previously warned you."
Odin said, "You've triumphed, and for that you have the gratitude of us and every being in the known Multiverse."
Ra nodded to Professor Paradox to indicate to them what they meant, "There are still loose ends to take care of, despite your success however."
The team gazed into the gateway that Paradox had summoned with a wave of his chrononavigator and saw a view of another planet with recognizable creatures. Paradox returned their nods. "
Rama said, "Behold, the Novatron home world." They continue to function even without Zone, but there is a way to rectify this.
Then, Phylis and her male partner raised Zone's head. They followed Phylis' instructions to "come heroes, look at the back of their forehead." There was a luminous chip inserted behind Zone's head. Amazingly, it is the only thing that was unharmed in the space ship disaster. What you see here is how Zone commands every single one of his subordinates.
Zak realized, "That's the signal." It turns out that Zone was the one who was carrying the object the entire time, which is very clever when you think about it.
Randy questioned, "So what do we do?" "Is there something like an off switch?"
Scoffing, Phil. He and Phylis both went for the chip, ripped it out of Zone's skull, and flung it on the ground, shouting, "Please, this is a very complex highly advanced piece of technology, it requires the management of someone who knows what makes it tick." "Watch boy, if you would be so kind as to blast it with the right alien you need"
Ben activated the Omnitrix without hesitating and slammed it into place, transforming into a muscular body with yellow skin, gray hair pulled back into a ponytail, a goatee, sideburns, and two tower generator coils on his back. He had five green, sparkling lines on each leg of his black jeans. He has bolts on his shoulders and sutures on his arms. Green spots can be seen on his arms, neck, and part of his fingers. He has pin-like bolts on each hand and wears beige gloves with exposed fingertips. In addition, he has a massive scar that is pink and extends from his neck to his abdomen. The scar has a gold bolt buried in the middle of it, and the Omnitrix symbol is on the belt.
"Frankenstrike!" yelled Frankenstrike as he fired an electric bolt with no effort. When they heard screaming coming from the portal, they looked into it and saw what was left of the Novatrons start to grab their heads as they screamed in pain. They could feel their bodies start to feel numb, their brains start to shut down, and eventually they all collapsed on the ground.
Danny questioned, "What just happened?"
In Bunnix's words, "With the electrical signal that wires all Novatrons demolished, every single one of those connected to the signal is now nothing more but immovable idiots." They are not dead, but rest assured, The Novatrons will be causing no more problems for the multiverse ever again." "With that out of the way, it is time for you all to return home,".
"How?" Frankenstrike asks as he turns back to Ben.
Clockwork activated his Staff and said. A set of objects that resembled remote controls suddenly appeared after the words "Wait for it." You see, my friends, these are devices that were made specifically for dimensional travel; Phil and Phylis built them, and they are similar to the kind of technology the Novatrons used to travel here on this Earth. As a result, you can even travel to each other's parallel Earths.
Paradox gathered his allies and said, "Be proud of yourselves, young friends." Clockwork then called forth a fog that encircled the entities, and they all vanished, leaving the team to reflect on his words. "But although this may be the end of this battle, there may be more that will require the same kind of bravery that you all have displayed here; the choice, however, is yours."
Ladybug asked, "What did he mean by that?"
Ben Tennyson, also known as Ben 10, considered the fact that, according to his friend Professor Paradox, Being able to travel across time makes it somewhat difficult to understand what he says, but he then considered how much he and the other members of this newly formed group of strange people had contributed to the Novatrons' defeat.
"Maybe he means that this hasn't been the end of our time together. Look at what we just did; by working together, we achieved something that Professor Paradox and his allies have never been able to do. In fact, they were able to defeat these guys by teaming up, and it looks like they still work together, so there are more threats other than the Novatrons. The people would need more than one hero; they'll need a team to fight the battles that they never could. Why can't that be us?"
Steven brow-furrowed. "What, do you expect us to form some sort of super-friends group?"
Ben laughed. He explained, "I was thinking more of an Ultra Legion. I mean, we're stronger together and there are infinite universes, moreover there are a lot of us." What say you people?
They all exchanged glances while they deliberated this.
Steel, Rex, Max, and Zakmoved forward toBen and declared, "We're in."
Rex said, "Like we said, dude, we always have your back anytime."
Then Ilana took a step forward. She said, "I'm in too."
Lance and Octus gave their friend a startled look before approaching her and saying, "Wait a moment, Ilana, you can't just jump in so quickly."
Octus proposed that before making a choice, "We should at least talk about this."
To her two closest friends, she turned. Imagine all the good we could accomplish by doing this; this is the start of something great and I want all of us to be a part of it. That is, if you want to. "Guys, Ben's right. The three of us have consistently won every battle by working together, we've saved Earth from attacks along with G3's help, we freed our planet from destruction.
Ilana seemed driven to invest in this whole "team" thing, and he couldn't stop her even if he tried, something Octus also understood. The corporal had many reservations about this idea. Sure, these guys are great in battle, but aside from their abilities, he knew virtually nothing about them and wasn't sure if they could be dependable all the time. "Well, if you're so sure, then we might as well join you, but only to make sure you don't get hurt."
Octus responded, "Agreed."
She gave them both happy hugs. Saying "Thanks, guys."
Next to speak was Danny. "If you guys are in, I'm in this one,"
"Hey Jake, are you sure you want to join this one because I'm in on this one?" Randy asked.
Jake answered, "I hear you brother, I'm in too."
Jenny agreed by nodding. "I understand that, but even if she declines, I can convince her to agree."
If his father were present, he would be ecstatic that his son has joined his own group of superheroes. Grandpapi would be unhappy, but he would respect Manny's decision. There is always a Rivera so I'm in.
Steven smiled and added, "My friends will be proud that I'll join a team. I've always had them before I left Beach City."
Aang responded, "Me too, my squad would be glad if I joined another team.
June chimed in, "I want to join too. Maybe this will be fun after all."
Kim and Ron nodded to one another while holding hands. She grinned, "I hope there is sufficient space for two more."
The fact that Marco was a high school student with magical dimension-hopping scissors and not a regular superhero who saves the day gave him many reasons to decline, but Star gave him the look that he could never resist. He sighed and said, "You want to join, don't you?" She responded by nodding. Another nod, "And you want me to do it too." This time she shook her head and said, "And nothing I say will convince you otherwise." Oh well, even if I had said no, you would have encouraged me, he admitted.
Star exclaimed in delight at Marco's choices, "Yay!"
Cat Noir turned to face Ladybug."Is there no way out of this," she questioned.
Cat Noir responded by shrugging. He wrapped an arm around Ladybug's shoulder and said, "Who knows? This might be fun in the long run. Milady and I are in." Ladybug responded by elbowing his chest.
Boone, Sashi, and Penn all exchanged nods. Penn remarked, "Well, the three of us really miss zapping into various realms and becoming heroes, that just could render it more exciting."
Sashi chuckled, "Try not to slow us down, however."
Boone cautioned them, saying, "Also, I might or might not forget important things, so allow me to give you a heads up on that."
With Ashi finally by his side, Jack had a chance to live a free and happy life in his kingdom after the tragedy and trauma he had experienced in the Aku-dominated future timeline. However, this entire experience had taught him that Aku was not the only evil threat that would take innocent lives. He grinned in response as Ashi clutched onto his arm and gave him a reassuring glance. The katana was designed to confront and kill such evil, so perhaps this was not the end of his travels. "Then it is decided that from today, everyone will work together to fight any evil that comes our way."
Then Ashi had an idea. She smiled knowingly at Jack and said, "But I think we're due for a celebration." Jack nodded in agreement. "Jack and I were supposed to be in the wedding before, but we were split up for a while; now that we've reunited, we want to pick up where we left off and personally invite you all to our wedding."
Star exhaled in delight at the idea. That would be wonderful, of course we would go, I tell myself.
As they all moved, the others applauded their togetherness and nodded in agreement.
In the days to come, this new alliance of interdimensional saviors will face many challenges that will push them to the very edge of their abilities, but through cooperation and ingenuity, they will overcome these challenges and gradually develop into the fantastic team they were meant to be.
