Netto was watching Kyuu and Rockman spar. The fox navi had managed to stand against Rockman's powerful attacks without sustaining much damage. Man this navi is something else. Kyuu was quick his large muscles ripped with each strike he did. "Vulcan slot in," he said.
Rockman fired the Vulcan at Kyuu who dodged the attack so easily he blinked and missed it. He is fast too really fast. I think he could match Forte. A ball of red energy appeared in Kyuu's hands, the fox navi through it as Rockman dodged the attack. The red ball of energy blew up the ground where it was at.
Damn what kind of navi is this? "Long Sword slot in!"
"Fox Claw!" Kyuu yelled his claw covered in a red glow.
Rockman's sword met Kyuu'ys claw. There was a flash of light as Rockman barely held off the attack.
"Not bad," Kyuu said as the sword broke. Rockman fell to the ground and the fox navi extended a hand. "Not bad at all Rockman."
"Thanks," Rockman said breathing heavily. "You're really strong."
"You got that right," he said.
Kyuu smiled at both of them and laughed before doing a mock bow. "You flatter me. Netto-kun I consider you my secondary operator since mine often has to return to his place. So in a way Rockman here is my senpai."
Rockman's face reddened. "T-The pleasure is mine."
He nodded. "Don't worry we'll make sure you are safe from anyone. You're more than welcome to help us out when we fight crime."
"Cool," Kyuu said with a shrug. The fox navi folded his arms his powerful muscles rippling. "I don't mind helping you guys out, to be honest fighting crimes sounds fun. I look forward to your commands Netto-kun."
He nodded. "Cool. Anyway let me look over your programming." Kyuu nodded as he looked him over. Man his programming is something else. He marveled at Kyuu's programming. Hopefully no one tries to take him away. I don't want him to get hurt or anything. It wasn't just because he was Naruto's navi but also because he helped make him.
He was working on his computer when he heard a knock at the door. "Naruto must be here today," he said as he got up and stretched.
He went to the door and found Naruto and another man behind him, "Hey Naruto. Is he with you?" He figured since the man also wore a metal headband he was with Naruto.
"Yeah this is my sensei Kakashi he found out and wanted to meet you," Naruto said with a nervous look.
"Nice to meet you," he said with a bow. "Um come on in." He led them to the room, the masked ninja eying everything carefully.
"You too I am Kakashi Naruto said you are a friend of his?" Kakashi asked.
He nodded, "Yeah we met awhile ago. Please come on it."
Kakashi and Naruto sat on the couch and he served them tea, Naruto looked nervous so he wanted to be cautious. "So tell me Netto how did you meet Naruto?" Kakashi asked.
"Um he sort of fell out of the air," he said as he explained the day he met Naruto and along with the other things they have been doing. Kakashi remained silent the entire time until he finished. "Naruto didn't do anything wrong," he said. "We just hung out and he taught me some fighting techniques."
"Really?" Kakashi said. "From the looks of your world you aren't at war, why do you wish to learn how to fight?"
"Well I sort of work with the police here and I want to be able to defend myself more and protect those I care about," He said.
"I see. You seem like a nice kid and I'm glad Naruto found you but as his teacher I have to make sure he is safe," Kakashi said. "Also and I'm not saying you would do anything bad but I have to keep my own people's interest at heart."
Naruto frowned at his teacher. "But Kakashi sensei no one here is a threat to us."
"You never know Naruto," Kakashi said.
He avoided the ninja's eyes. He knew that Naruto was a good fighter but he also knew that there were a lot of bad people in his own world. "I understand. I promise I won't betray Naruto or anything, I haven't even told anyone about him since my parents are away."
"I see," Kaakshi said as he finished his tea. "Well I'll allow Naruto to continue and visit you, he has been bored lately so I don't mind him visiting you, though I will accompany him in training you."
"But Kakashi sensei I can do it by myself," Naruto said.
"Also this will just be between us understand," Kakashi said looking at them both seriously. "I don't want any chaos in either of our worlds."
"Got it. It will be our secret," he said with a smile.
Kakashi nodded. "If you don't mind me asking tell me about your world?"
The ninja's tone was definitely more of an order than a request, but he didn't mind since he trusted Naruto and if this guy was his teacher he might not be that bad.
"Sure no problem," he said as he took out his PET and Naruto's PET and set them on the table. "In this world we are all connected through the internet."
With that he told Kakashi the basic history of his world and how it operated. Kakashi along with Naruto were curious and listened intently to the stories of his adventures fighting off cyber terrorists and other things like cross fusion.
It was a lot to cover he managed to do it in about an hour. "Well that's about it," he sighed. "Do you want to know anything else?"
Kakashi folded his arms. "No seems interesting. I guess every world is different. So you fight these viruses with your net navis?" Kakashi looked at Rockman and then Kyuu, the ninja frowned a bit but said nothing as he put him down.
He nodded. "Yeah. There are many threats to the cyber world and they sometimes leak out into our own. But don't worry me and Rockman along with others take care of them. I also made Kyuu for Naruto here."
"Good to hear. Though in our world Naruto wouldn't really need one," Kakashi said. "Well you seem like a good kid."
"Thanks," he said. "I promise not to let anyone know about you or Naruto or anything about your world."
Kakashi nodded. "Good. If I may ask do your parents know about us?"
He avoided his gaze and shifted in his seat. "Um no they are away."
"Kakashi sensei they are having some personal problems," Naruto said softly.
"I see," Kakashi said. "Well I'm glad you and Naruto are friends. Though I think it would be better if we control how many people know about us. You see there could be bad people who could cause problems for either world."
"Yeah I get that" he sighed as he remembered the various cyber threats. Just thinking of what some evil ninja could do to his world sent shivers down his spine. That might actually be a good idea. Not everyone from his world would be nice.
Naruto frowned but he also slowly nodded in agreement. "Yeah I guess you are right sensei."
Kakashi nodded. "So far I've sensed no hostility here but as Naruto's teacher I can't just let him wander around unsupervised in an unknown world. I'll accompany him when he visits you. I have to assure his safety."
Naruto pouted but said nothing. "Don't worry I don't mind," he said. "I mean to be honest this ninja stuff seems cool and Naruto has been a good friend so far."
"I don't disapprove of your friendship and since Naruto and you are friends I'll allow him to accompany you so long as he doesn't get into any trouble," Kakashi said folding his arms.
"I never get into trouble," Naruto muttered. "We've been helping take down criminals together."
Kakashi nodded. "Yeah you told me. Have you had any more trouble with them?"
"Nothing recently," he said. "Though I managed to find the location of the local yakuza boss in a semi abandoned building on the outskirts of town. I was making preparations on how to take him out."
Kakashi nodded. "I see. Well I don't mind coming to make sure you both don't get hurt."
Naruto sighed. "Fine."
"It's alright I don't mind the help," he said. Frankly he was curious on what Kakashi could do.
"Anyway by chance can you view books and magazines on these PETs?" Kakashi asked curiously.
Naruto groaned and shook his head. "Uh yeah you can do it," he said confused to his friend's reaction. "Here let me show you."
He quickly showed Kakashi how to download files and read books. The older ninja's expression was neutral but betrayed a hint of curiosity. "Excellent. If you don't mind may I brose through some reading material?"
"Sure," he said as Naruto rolled his eyes.
"Kakashi sensei me and Netto are still minors I'm sure he doesn't have those kinds of materials with him," Naruto said.
He resisted the urge to laugh. Well at least he seems like an alright guy.
"I'm just curious Naruto," Kakashi said as he showed him how to download books and magazines onto Kyuu's PET.
Kakashi nodded and seemed satisfied with what he told him. "I see. What an interesting device. I may use Naruto's PET for some reading material."
"Uh sure no problem," he said as Naruto rolled his eyes.
