A:Probably yes, but that's how System Alliance fleets are made. If other races have a Carrier, they can use it.
Initially, I even thought about giving SA Escort Carriers, but it is not available in Lore or elsewhere in the fandom, so I gave up, even though these ships make a lot of sense for SA.
Asari Republics vs. Turian Hierarchy is an interesting idea and I think I will agree to it. It will be an interesting clash.
Asariu Republics vs. Salarian Union will be out for a while. The Turans are already fighting the Asari, but the concept is interesting, so maybe I'll include them in the next round.
Vol Protectorate vs. Counts of Decuna in a regular space battle will be interesting, and I'll probably do it after the Turain and Asari fight.
As for the Illuminated Primacy fleet, I actually forgot to add it. I have corrected it and it's already in the prolog. They will most likely be against the Salarians in the last fight of this round
Important:
One last thing. I forgot to describe exactly who will advance to the next round and on what basis.
In short, there will be three rounds of fights and those who win all three or perform the best will advance to the finals. I am no HFY, so don't expect Humans to just roll over all enemies.
End

A:The number of ships in the ME fleets is technically non-existent, with a few exceptions. A single fleet of 100-120 warships is a good idea to me. Enrite Navy has of course multiple fleets. Of course, the are also support ships, space starions, PT boats, corvetts, and their navy is in peace time for over 1000 years, so their numbers are multiple times smaller then could be.
Grammatical mistake.
Yes, but in general humanity's technology is inferior to most of the Citadel races and this has a significant impact in some fights.
More in the context that they brought it in such large quantities to fight for Shanxi. The Turians still refuse to accept that a race that has had FTL for less than a decade has defeated them in battle.
I have stories about FCW: First Contact War - Historical Documentation
Again, these are tactical fights, not strategic ones. Strategically the Turians have the advantage, but tactically the Salarians will win. Then it comes down to where they will fight, how the ships are designed, and more. This is not a game to be balanced, because a real war is also not fair, and places like who is attacking are random.
When I wrote CNN, I was thinking about Citadel Network News. I'm sorry if I misled people. (Although the first sentence is "Welcome everyone to Citadel Network News")
This is assuming that these 50% of transports are the minimum needed for something. Food for the garrison, ammunition, or troops.

Division of the fleet into groups to facilitate tactical battles depending on race preferences. This is the smallest tactical group in the fleet, commanded by a lower-ranking commander, so the Admiral doesn't have to micro-manage separate ships if one ship has suffered damage or missiles have ended.
In the next six, you didn't say what breed you are talking about, so I don't know how to answer unless I make assumptions.
The first three are Asari and rely on the fact that Asari ships have two Ezzo cores. One core - one jump and you have to wait until you can do it again.
Instead of "low speed" it was supposed to be "low maneuverability", and it is combined with "..structural weakness...".
Asari ships have large holes in the middle, a structural weakness due to their specific dual-core structure. This is also the reason why they have no side-weapons.
This is a special construction method that maximizes frontal attack at the expense of broadside guns and turrets. In case of danger, they can escape further than other ships because they have the ability to double jump, and their low maneuverability and structural weakness are negated by the best kinetic barriers in the galaxy. (Not counting Reapers)
The Salarians, assuming that's what you mean, have the best stealth technology that they put on all their ships, which means they have relatively few guns. Turian and Human ships have shown that they have two main guns each, the Salarians have one.
Different styles of shipbuilding have different goals. You can make ships 500 meters long and call them cruisers. But one will focus on speed and maneuverability, which will force it to have weaker armor, and the other will go in the opposite direction.
The humans have an aircraft carrier, which almost automatically gives them an advantage in the number of fighters and bombers they can field. Other races don't have this. Also, The Asari Sixth Fleet has more dreadnought than any other Asari fleet, and we don't know how rest of the fleets are structured.
Review 2:
You're right. I didn't write FTL, but I thought about it. I've already corrected it.
In this case, the asteroids are hundreds of kilometers apart. This means that ME ships that have a range of thousands of kilometers can still use them as cover if they are large enough, say a few kilometers.
Slavery when you have space technology is stupid and if the culture has it, I don't know how they managed to get space technology.
If you take slaves from other races, everyone dislikes/hates you. If separate, the number of soldiers you can recruit as specialists decreases. You're not going to teach a slave how to operate a spaceship.
Then we have the caste system, which means we choose based on where we were born, not our skills.
Keep going?
Humanity wanted to have as many colonies as possible as quickly as possible, so they did not have the numbers to defend all the colonies. Charles Pressly mentioned that his ship destroyed several invader ships on Elysium. Here the Batarians do not have the advantage of numbers or surprise.
Honestly, I always thought it was like this. Bombers - attack enemy warships. Interceptors - attack enemy fighters, bombers, and interceptors. Fighters - multi-tasking. It can attack warships and fight other fighters.

Chapter 2 – Turians vs. Asari
Attacker: Turian Hierarch
Defender: Asari Republicks
Planetary Invasion
Orisoni system
Transporting 100 transports to the surface of the planet Niacal.
AR fleet groups:
Dreadnought group – (Dreadnought and 4 heavy cruisers)
Heavy Cruiser group – (5 Heavy Cruisers)
6 Cruiser groups – (5 cruisers)
4 Light Cruiser groups – (5 light cruisers)
2 Escort frigates groups – (5 escort frigates)
10 frigate groups – (5 frigates)
TH fleet groups:
Dreadnought group – (Dreadnought and 5 Cruisers)
8 Cruiser groups – (6 Cruisers)
11 frigate groups – (6 Frigates)
Turian's goal was to deploy land forces on the planet's surface, specifically in one of the 6 potential locations. This forced the Asari fleet to defend all 6, or the Turians would simply bypass their forces through one of them, or even attack all 6 at once.
Therefore, the Asari Admiral decided to conduct a fluid defense. She placed one group of cruisers and frigates above each point while positioning the remaining ships around two other planets in the system, Kralla, and Egalic, to act as quick reinforcements, jumping into the fight via FTL drive.
The Turian Admiral began the attack by sending three groups of frigates to the landing positions to check the Asari response. Since each of these points was guarded by cruisers, the Turian frigates merely fired a few salvos from extreme ranges and quickly turned around, escaping on the standard drive.
Sensing an opportunity to easily get several destroyed ships, the Asari sent their three groups of light cruisers to dispatch these attackers and immediately return to position. Despite a significant advantage in fire and surprise, the cruisers destroyed only three frigates before they escaped out of range, and Asari vessels returned to their starting positions. The reason was the extraordinary maneuverability of the turian ships, which quickly began to respond with torpedoes and their own main weapon fire. Despite this, the Asari did not lose a single ship.
As soon as the Asari ships withdrew, the Turians made one more attack on three other locations, from a different vector. They jumped out of the FTL with a group of cruisers and frigates. Making a simultaneous attack, they immediately began to use their teamwork, eliminating 2 cruisers and a frigate.
The Asari Admiral quickly noticed what was happening and began to browse her possibilities. Her light cruisers didn't yet have their FTL charged, so sending them was not possible. She was left with one light cruisers group, a heavy cruisers group, and 3 frigates groups near Kralla, and a dreadnought group, a frigates group, and 2 escort frigates groups near Egalic that could engage immediately. The Turians scored some early lucky shots, so she had to fight carefully. They were probably trying to do a repeat of the last fight. Therefore, she decided to send frigates to attack. It is better to keep heavier units in reserve.
As soon as the Asari frigates arrived to support them, the fight quickly turned in their favor. The Turians made a tactical retreat, but the Asari did not pursue them. Instead, they withdrew the frigates that had previously been a garrison. Turian Admiral thought this was a smart move because they would be able to provide support immediately rather than waiting for bought of their FTL engines to recharge. In this attack he lost 2 cruisers and 2 frigates, inflicting the same losses. Considering the rules of combat, such losses so early might seem foolish compared to the Asari's losses, but there was a method to it. It marked a weak point in the Asari defense. At this point, his ships that had just retreated were ordered to regroup and attack again.
The reorganization of the retreating Turians was surprisingly quick, even by Turian standards. Even though 40 minutes of fighting had already passed, the Turians were still only testing the Asari and had not launched an all-out attack. This attack was exceptionally fierce, with 32 ships attacking where only ships around Egalic could provide support. Asari light cruisers were still regenerating their FTL, but 2 Escort frigate groups, one frigate group, and her personal dreadnought group, were still able to support the defenders. But she didn't want to reveal her dreadnought yet, and her frigates wouldn't make it on their own. Therefore, she ordered 2 groups of cruisers from another part of the planet to join. At the same time, 2 other groups of cruisers would take their place while another group of frigates were sent to attack the Turian fleet.
The Turians began to win, quickly dispersing the defenders and entering a short range, where they destroyed 2 cruisers with concentrated fire, at the cost of one frigate. But when reinforcements arrived, the Turians quickly began to turn back before a major clash could occur.
However, the Turian Admiral already had a plan in mind to finally defeat the defenders and ordered his dreadnought group, 4 cruiser groups, and 3 frigate groups to jump over Kralla. Fight between 30 Asari ships against 48 Turian ships, with no possible support, quickly began.
The Asari Admiral was tense, but she had to give the Turian commander credit for his resourcefulness. He must have guessed where her fleet was in previous engagements, and now he planned to eliminate a large portion of it, or at least gain a tactical advantage. Now she knew where his dreadnought was, his destruction of the light cruiser had been noticed. Therefore, she ordered Kralla to be handed over to the Turians and a retreat to Niacal. Over Kralla she lost a heavy cruiser, two light cruisers, and three frigates compared to one Turian cruiser.
Turian Admiral was in no hurry to rejoin the fight. His 3 frigate groups, although depleted, had recharged their FTL and were ready to fight, while his forces regrouped around Krall's orbit, effectively limiting the maneuverability of the Asari who could not make their surprise attacks on that side and giving him a large springboard for his future attack plan.
When the timer passed 1h20min, the Turian and Asari fleets were regrouped and ready for another fight. Asari Admiral decided to leave her dreadnought escorted by two groups of escort frigates over Egalic and began to move the rest into more defensive positions. Straight ahead of the main Turian group was a group of heavy cruisers, 5 groups of cruisers, and 3 groups of frigates. As garrisons over 4 landing points, she had one group of light cruisers and one group of frigates. The point straight to Egalic had only one group of frigates.
The Turians made their move, sending 2 groups of frigates and a group of cruisers to simultaneously attack 3 of the moderately defended points. At the same time, the main forces, led by the dreadnought, made an FTL jump towards the planet and positioned themselves at an angle so as not to accidentally hit the planet, within the nearly extreme range of the main guns. The Turians were more aggressive in their attack than before, immediately closing the distance, and trying to overwhelm Asari.
When the Asari Admiral saw the Turians' movement, she had to congratulate them, again. If anything moves from her main fleet, the dreadnought, and its fleet will immediately counter it, so she only has her dreadnought and two escort frigates groups available. Her garrison forces won't win, transports will come from three sides and at least 60% will get through. Alternatively, if they stay in one group, they will be able to choose one of the targets from this angle. Or even attack the weakest defended ones, after all, there were still about 12 ships left to defend them, if she counted correctly.
Strategically, her position was untenable. For any other race, this position would be untenable. It would be best to give up and save your dignity. They would still rank better than the Batarians. But Asari ships had two cores. They could do a double FTL jump. And that's why they still had a chance.
Turian Admiral watched the Asari retreat. They split into two groups with the part facing his dreadnought moving towards the sun while the units defending the arrival points withdrew over Egalic. He immediately ordered the arrival of transports with their escort to a place from which it was impossible to reach by FTL jump from the sun. He had a small window, 7 minutes at most before the Asari could turn around, reorganize, and FTL jump again. 3 groups of frigates and 2 groups of cruisers provided the complete defense of his troop transports. He immediately ordered all ships to join the escort and even sent all fighters just to increase their defense by a little.
Asari Admiral saw the FTL jump and knew she had no time to wait and reorganize. Her dreadnought group and 2 escort frigate groups were ready in formation and immediately jumped to intercept the transports. The remaining formations were to jump back in immediately and engage any Turian units trying to join the fight. She launched all the fighters to try to get the transports this way. Fights began to break out all around the planet, but only one mattered. Where 12 Condor class cruisers, 18 Grannet-class frigates, and 84 Armax-class fighters protected 100 transports from attack by 1 Ahlatania-class dreadnought, 4 Nefrane-class heavy cruisers, 10 Vak'tyr-class escort frigate and 92 Lucen-class fighters.
Turian Commander, who was protecting the convoy, immediately moved the fleet into a defensive position, engaging the Dreadnought and its escort. Although outnumbered, in ranged combat the Asari had similar firepower per minute. The Asari had stronger guns and a large number of them per ship, but the Turians had more ships and they fired faster. The problem was that the Asari could take more punishment than his ships, and he had to protect the transports.
Asari Admiral ordered to target the transports, while at the same time sending her own fighters to attack the transports to further pressure on the Turians. As for the number of fighters, the numbers were similar, but the Asari had better ones overall, so they should have brought at least a few transports. At the same time, one salvo from her Dreadnought hit the frigate, eliminating it instantly. The first transport touched the ground.
Turain Commander saw that the long-range firefight still favored the Asari. Additionally, several of his transports were hit by lucky arrows. The Asari fighters hadn't arrived yet, having taken a route around his frigates. He ordered his fighters to intercept. No transports have been destroyed yet.
The Asari Admiral began to look impatiently at the screen as more transports landed. Her Lucen class began to fight against their Turian counterparts. Even the destruction of another frigate didn't improve her mood, because she saw that she was slowly starting to lose. Six transports touched down.
Turian Commander saw the Asari begin to press more and more, with another frigate destroyed and a Dogfight erupting right next to his ships. And his fighters were losing. He ordered one of his frigate groups, the one that had lost 2 ships, to fire its torpedo load and then attack the Asari fighters. Two transports were destroyed.
The Asari Admiral ordered one of the frigate escort groups to intercept the missiles, which they did quite easily. At the same time, she saw several frigates leaving the formation and immediately guessed where they were moving. Her fighters were quickly gaining the upper hand, and the remaining groups were already pressing down on the Turians in the 2 remaining locations on this side of the planet. Any fighter support that was sent was intercepted by her fighters. She didn't know what was happening on the other side of the planet, since she didn't have any satellites that could allow her to communicate, but there should have been a close fight there. Here she ordered her ships to concentrate fire on the frigates targeting her fighters so they could break through to transports, firing whatever torpedoes and other missiles she had. Twelve cargo ships landed.
Turian Commander concentrated his ships' fire on the frigates to begin to push back. In this way, he destroyed the first Vak'tyr class. Unfortunately for him, he saw on the screen that his own frigates were absolutely massacred at the hands of the Asari. The group has now been reduced to only 2 ships. Plus his own fighters were down to 63 compared to the Asari's 79 and they were the first to break through. Five transport ships were destroyed
The Asari Admiral saw her group of escort frigates begin to disperse to avoid the gunfire that had already taken out one of them. At the same time, she saw 8 fighters move not straight towards the transports, but into the atmosphere. In the atmosphere, the kinetic barriers were weaker because the reactor's extra power had to be redirected to the engines to avoid crashing. And that made them an even easier target. Twenty-one cargo ships landed.
Turian Commander watched as another group of Asari fighters broke through and attacked the transport ships he was supposed to defend. He knew he had to do something to stop them. Fortunately, his earlier fire had dispersed the group of escort frigates, so he decided to take advantage of this and ordered another salvo of torpedoes toward the Asari from the remaining frigates. Eight transport ships were destroyed.
Asari Admiral tried to organize her own lines as quickly as possible, but it was too late and a torpedo salvo took out another escort Figate, and a heavy cruiser. Although the heavy cruiser was not destroyed, the Nefrane class, like the rest of Asari ships, also had a huge hole in the middle of the ship in order to have two cores. When its side was broken off, even though the ship was still in one piece, it could no longer fight and was withdrawn. Additionally, another group of frigates moved not against the fighters, but into the atmosphere. The previous one was eliminated, and despite losing 30 fighters, the Turians lost twice as many. That's why she decided to change her tactics. Twenty-four cargo ships landed.
Turian Commander quickly realized his mistake when 20 Asari fighters attacked his transport ships in space and began eliminating them. He quickly ordered the three frigates in the group to stop descending into the atmosphere and go to the aid of the transit ships. Nineteen transports were destroyed.
The Asari Admiral quickly ordered the reorientation of the fleet to once again fire at the main Turian group. In the atmosphere, her fighters skillfully maneuvered between the Turian transport ships, with only a few being destroyed by the frigates as they continued their task. In space, Turian frigates were more effective, but more fighters led to even more transports being destroyed. Twenty-eight cargo ships landed.
Turian Commander watched as defeat approached. Fortunately, not his. The support of 100 Turian fighters sent by the Turian Admiral finally arrived and gained a large advantage over the Asari fighters. The Lucen-class fighters may have been better than the Armax fighters, but not enough to overcome the almost 2-to-1 numerical disadvantage. Thirty transports were destroyed.
The Asari Admiral saw her pilots disappear. Defeat was close. But she could still announce it. She immediately ordered all ships to charge and focus solely on the transports. The torpedoes were reloaded and also sent to the transports. There were only 6 Turian frigates capable of stopping them at the front and 3 next to the transports themselves, and the fire from her dreadnought group was to make sure they didn't organize. Thirty-five cargo ships landed.
Commander Turian immediately responded to the Asari attack by ordering torpedoes to be intercepted. Taking hits if necessary. His frigates and cruisers began to feel it. This didn't stop all the torpedoes. But it retained enough of them. Forty-two transports were destroyed.
The Asari Admiral admitted defeat. Despite another 3 cruisers and 2 frigates being destroyed, her fighters were almost eliminated and all transports were in the atmosphere, so she couldn't use her guns to fire at them.
Ultimately fifty-six cargo ships landed.
Result:
Turian Hierarch Victory:
Remaining units:
AR: 1 dreadnought, 7 heavy cruisers, 23 cruisers, 16 light cruisers, 40 frigates, 8 escort frigates, 416 support crafts
TH: 1 dreadnought, 36 cruisers, 49 frigates, 275 support crafts

"This is the end of today's War Games, the winner is Turian Hierarch." - said Seyifma Besava - "Today's guest is Commodore Steven Hackett. He was also one of the commanders who contributed to the victory over the Batarians."
"Welcome." - Hackett said.
"Mr. Hackett, how does it feel to contribute to the victory of your own species?"
"Really great, although not as exciting as you might think, and my role was really small."
"And where were you in the battle?"
"In the first SA attack. We exchanged fire with the Batarian frigates for the rest of the engagement. My cruiser managed to get one confirmed kill, or at least it should have if it wasn't for the fact that it's only War Games, of course."
"Well, what would you say about the latest Wargame?"
"It was a great display of fighting and maneuvering by the Turians, although the Asari held on well and had a good chance of winning."
"Their last attack was really deadly and if it weren't for the fact that the fights are not to the death, they would have won."
"Do you really think so?"
"Of course. Eventually, the Turians covered the transports with their own ships."
"If a similar situation occurred on a real battlefield, the Turians would still perform this maneuver. It is known that the Turians are the greatest military power in the Galaxy, but few realize how dedicated the Turians are. If their commanders tell them to jump into the fire, their subordinates will do so, believing that they are doing it for some higher purpose that only their commanders can see."
"I see. But I would like to know why the Asari fleet lined up against the Turian fleet shortly after they captured Krall. Shouldn't the Turians just do an FTL jump for them and eliminate one of the groups and then bring in the transports?"
"Why do you think this would be successful?"
"Because the Turians would have all their ships in place, and the Asari would have to fly in the planet's gravitational field?"
"Normally you'd be right, but that's not how FTL drives work, even military ones. When it comes to inter-system jumps, you can change course mid-way, which allows for some corrections, but in a system at the speeds they are flying, it is simply impossible. And if they tried, the safety systems on the Ezzo generators would kick in."
"That is?"
"In simple terms, the Ezzo generators power the entire ship, which creates a small gravitational field around them, almost invisible, but with a relatively large range, over 30 times the size of the ship itself, in the case of the Asari it is 60 times due to the dual cores. When these fields meet, the reaction is the same as when entering a planet's gravitational field or stars and ships automatically fall out of FTL. In the case of a grouping of ships, this field is multiplied. If the Turians had made a direct FTL jump, they would have been caught in the field of the Asari ships while they made their two FTL jumps."
"I see. So the most important question is how you would fight this battle if you were in command."
"Ma'am, I'm just an ordinary Commodore, with questions like this go to the Admiral."
"But maybe you'll at least try?"
"All right. The overall Asari tactics were pretty good and there's not much that could be done to improve them, but if I were them I'd use fighters more and keep at least 20% as Combat Air Patrol at all times. I would also send, say, 10 frigates to look for these transports. If found, attack immediately with everything available. If something goes wrong, we retreat to the planet and regroup with the forces guarding it. The Asari Admiral was too passive by Alliance standards."
"Thank you for your reply. This was Seyifma Besava from Citadel Network News. See you!"
