Jessica, Harvey, and Lewis have finally been allowed to experience what the exclusive Sanguis Club has to offer. It was established in the city by the British in 1700. It is a club that only the true elite can get into. It has been a dream of all three to get an invitation. They get an invitation to go and enjoy the night earlier that day. It is rumored that when you get invited, it is a sign that you might be able to join soon after. Or so they heard. They knew that Hardman was invited, but he was forced to give up the membership because he broke the code soon after joining. No matter what he did, he was not invited or allowed to make it past the lobby again. All three knew that he had tried.

They were met with a pale, dark-haired man as soon as they entered the lobby. "Hello, welcome. May I please see your invitation?" The three of them pull out the white with dark silver lettering on stiff card stock from their purse and inside pockets to give to the man. "Thank you." The man takes the invitation and then pulls out a two-inch diameter pin. The pin had all of their names engraved on the back. The pin had a black background with a half and inch-white opal below the crest of the club. The crest is a triangle in the background with three all-seeing eyes, one at the top of the triangle and the other two at the bottom. "Now, when you come in, you must have your pins in plain view at all times. It is a way to prove that you are a member and not a guest. You are allowed one guest a month. With me so far?" Jessica, Harvey, and Lewis nodded in understanding. "Very well, follow me."

The man leads them to the end of the hall. There were no doors to be seen going down the hall to where the elevator was located. He pushes the button to call the elevator. As they wait for it, he explains further. "There are five levels in the club. From lowest to highest, it is one white opal, two black opal, three blue opal, four orange opal, and five red opal. To get to a higher level, you must fulfill the tasks assigned to you. Some never leave the white opal level. You can not buy your way into a higher level. Money means nothing here other than paying for your yearly dues, which are due when you leave." He is interrupted by Lewis. "How much are the dues?" "They are one percent of your yearly earnings. As I said, money does not matter here." "Then how was it we were invited?" Asked Jessica smoothly. "You will find out later. Now," he was interrupted by the elevator opening. They all get into the elevator. The man that they still did not know the name of pushed, the white one. The elevator goes up. "I am Samual, and I take care of all new members. If you have any questions while here, you can come to me."

After a few moments, the elevator opens to a breathtaking entryway—the three marvel over the old elegance on display. If this was level one, they could not wait to see the higher levels. "The restaurant and bar are all included in the yearly dues. You may order anything on the menu as much as you like. Now, onto the rules. One, business is not conducted here, and there is no talking of work either; this place is for relaxation. Two, everyone on your level has earned their place there. Third, Do not talk about the club or the other members outside of the club. Those are the only rules on this level. The higher you go, the more rules there are. Many have trouble with this at first but treasure it later." Samul tells them while pointing out the restaurant and bar. "Do not worry about anything else tonight. Eat, drink and enjoy. I will see you when you leave." Samuel bows, then turns and leaves.

"Well, we know why Hardman was kicked out," Harvey comments. They all knew that Hardman would brage about being invited into the club. He would also try to use the club members to further himself.

They go into the restaurant. The hostess leads them to a table next to a bay window. The view was beautiful. The waiter comes to the table and gives them the menu. Drinks are ordered, and the server leaves so they can look over the menu. "I have to say this place is just extraordinary," Jessica said. "Yes, I cant believe that we are here," Lewis commented with glee. "Am I the only one who noticed the different colors of the numbers on the elevator?" Harvey asked. "No, I noticed as well," Jessica answered. "It must mean something to do with the different levels. They are of the color of the levels." Said Lewis. The waiter returned—they gave him their orders.

After eating, they move over to the bar area. They see people that have clients of them. What made them almost trip up was that there were some associates from the firm there. Lewis went over to them to confront them. Harvey saw this and was able to catch up to him. "Lewis, calm down. You know the rules; they could not tell us they were members." Lewis just huffs and veers off to the bar instead of going to the associates.

As they were at the bar, they were hoping for some answers. The bartender takes their orders later after they receive their drinks when the bartender makes his way back to them. Harvey motioned for the bartender to come closer. "Yes, how can I help you?" The bartender asks. Harvey leans closer so he will be able to ask and not have to yell. "Yes, can you tell us how someone gets invited?" "Oh, the only way a person can be invited is from one of the princes. They are from the top level." "You mean level 5?" Lewis asked him. "No, there is a level even higher than that. The princes are the ones who rule over everything here. I do know that there are two princes in the city right now. Which is not always the case." the bartender tells him before moving on.

Scene Change

Jessica, Lewis, and Harvey decided to go after being there for a few hours. They paid their dues at the lobby deck right before leaving. As they leave, they see a man come in. Samual moves out from behind the desk. He bows to the man. The man has a dark head and light blue eyes. The suit he was wearing was impeccable. He had a black fedora that made him look very dashing. "Prince Neal, it's good to see you," Samula says. "You as well, Sam. Has my brother been in yet?" "No, my prince." The man starts to walk down the hall to the elevator. That was the last they saw of him before the three left.

Scene Change

A few weeks went by before either of the three saw that man again. Lewis saw him as he got off of the elevator. Lewis immediately did a U-turn, as he was leaving at the time, back into the office on his way to Jessicas. Jessica just so happened to have Harvey in her office. "You will never guess who just arrived?" "Who, Lewis?" Harvey asked while rolling his eyes. "Do you remember that prince from the club?" He waited until they nodded. "Well, I just saw him coming out of the elevator. He was heading to the associate's area." Jessica and Harvey were out of their chairs and out the door after he said this.

When they get there, they see the man talking to Mike. They get close enough to hear but not be seen. "What do you want, Neal?" Mike says without looking up. "I'm hurt, little brother. Anyways, you know that Mother is coming tonight, right?" Yes, I know. The club is being cleaned so it is ready for Mom. All the invitations for level three and up were sent out yesterday so Mom can inspect them." "Good, good. Are you bringing your mate?" Neal asks. "No." "Why." Mike sighs and finally looks up at his brother. "My mate does not know." "Why," Neal asks baffled. "Because Harvey would never want me. So, I am letting him go. I invited Jessica, Harvey, and Lewis to the club so I could keep an eye on him. That is enough. Do not tell mom." Mike told Neal sadly. "Well, that's his loss. Will I see you at the club tonight?" Mike gives Neal a look that says 'no shit'. "When will you be going back to Spain?" Mike says instead. "I'll be out of your territory in a few years when I'm not tethered anymore. Until then, you will have to deal with it. I won't get in your way of ruling. In the meantime, let us just get ready for Mom's arrival." "All right. See you then." "And you little brother." Neal flips his hate back on and turns to leave.

Scene Change

Harvey has been eyeing the entrance of the club for what feels like hours. He was thinking about what he learned just that afternoon. Mike did not think that he would want him, which is just crazy. Finally, three black SUVs pull up. Men get out of the first two. Samuel comes out of the club and opens the door of the second SUV. A man with white-blond hair, he has the bluest eyes he has ever seen. Samuel bows to the man. "My Queen, it is good to see you again." "You as well." The door of the club opens again, and Harvey can see Mike and his brother Neal come out. They both walk over to the man. "Mom, it is good to see you again," Neal says, going up to his mother, who pulls him into a hug. "Mike, aren't you coming over here?" Mike moves and gets a hug as well. "You seem down. What's wrong?" Mike shakes his head. "Nothing, Mom; I do not want to talk about it." "All right." and with that, they move into the club. That was the last time Harvey saw them that night. He was feeling baffled at what he saw. He will have to talk to Mike.
