A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 Epilogue

The rest of the semester goes by in the school without incident in a haze of blazing and warm sunshine.

Dumbledore was as good as his word about the end of the year exams. Not one of them was taken by 1st-7th year. Regular classes simply continued until the end of the term was reached. Out of everyone, it seems that Hermione was the only person truly disappointed by this development.

Bailey would've pondered if someone was wrong with Hermione's head from being Petrified for so long but then she remembered that Hermione was always like this about any sort of schoolwork to begin with.

As pleased as Bailey was that everything is relatively back to normal there is one other thing she is concerned about. It's weighing heavily on her on what's going to be the living arrangements for her sons and daughters. Sure accommodations were granted to them this year, but what is going to happen to them now? On this Bailey is unsure. She doesn't doubt that Hagrid would take great pleasure in housing them in the enclosure next to his home, but Bailey doesn't know if that'll be enough.

The day before everyone is supposed to board the Hogwarts Express for the journey back to Kings Cross Station in London a decision has yet to be reached with the limited options handed to them.

To take her mind off things Bailey went for a day out with her brood down at the Black Lake. It'll be an entire summer before she has a chance to lay eyes on them again if she actually does.

Bailey can't help feeling nostalgic as she watches her little ones pursue a hare that Ranger had dug out of a burrow around the shore. Each one is testing their metal in their agility as a potential hunter. The fun mood in the atmosphere is so infectious that Bailey can't resist joining in the festivities.

Surprisingly Bailey is the one to catch the hare. But instead of killing it. Oh no, Bailey let it go instead of killing the hare. The hare perks its ears up in astonishment that it is still alive. A gentle nudge from Bailey's nose to its rear snaps the startled hare out of it and it takes off again.

The pups return to their game now knowing their mother would prefer them not to kill the hare.

Sitting on her haunches Bailey monitors the play to make sure things don't get out of hand. She then takes notice that one of her sons is missing from the crowd. As usual it's Bold.

Studying the terrain surrounding them Bailey's son spots Bold confidently prancing toward them on his paws carrying a pheasant in his mouth. A kill from a lone hunt he just did. He's not alone. Brokefang is following behind his son a proud gleam in his eyes.

The others abandon the hare converging around Bold, wanting a piece of the meat. Growling and snarling all of them fight to get the whole thing until Bailey barks sternly, telling them to share. Resigned they do so.

Brokefang takes a seat beside his mate the two affectionately pressing their heads together.

Brokefang later catches on that something appears to be bothering her deeply. She conveys in their own language that she's immensely worried about what's going to become of their children now that she has to leave for a couple of months. Unsure whether their brood will be allowed to remain.

Brokefang comes up with the solution and a splendid one it is.

It's all settled. During the summer when Bailey is absent, the pups will go into the Dark Forest to live with their father. Brokefang will continue teaching them the necessary survival skills they need in order to sufficiently live in the wilderness. Then when she and Harry return for his 3rd year studies the pups will come back to be with her and Brokefang will visit in regular intervals.

All the pups need to do is listen for her reunion howl in the wind and they shall answer her summons.

This way none of the pups are disruptive and act as pure nuisances while they are apart.

A neat and tidy little arrangement that Bailey is confident no one will object to in recognition of all they've been through and endured.

All too soon it's time for the students to say farewell to Hogwarts.

That morning Bailey sought to give her pups one last goodbye kiss each. Her sons and daughters accepted the sincere and loving gesture warmheartedly, promising they'd behave and listen to everything Brokefang tells them. Well, Bailey's certain most of them will. She's not too sure about Bold. Hopefully the rascal will stay out of trouble and that Dreamer won't wander away too far from home. Because of all those weeks Petrified, Dreamer lost time in her physical development, so she'll always be smaller than her siblings, but it doesn't bother her too much. Dreamer has chosen to live with it.

Bailey is reluctant to leave them so she lingers there with them as long as she can. The one thing that pulls her away is Harry calling her name in the distance.

As Bailey turns her back to answer her boy her children raise their heads and howl in farewell. Their combined voices lifted in song will stay with her each time she shuts her eyes in the months ahead.

Colin Creevey finds Harry and Bailey in the compartment on the train they're sharing with Ron and Hermione. He has a gift for them. Unwrapping the parcel, it is revealed to be a small photo album filled with pictures he'd taken of the puppies up to the point where he'd been Petrified by the basilisk. At the beginning of the year, Colin Creevey had promised to give Harry a full album of the puppies. Through no fault of his own, Colin Creevey couldn't deliver a full amount, but this alone fills the two with warm contentment as they flip through the pages at the pictures the kid managed to get to them. And they continue to do so the entire train ride.

Already the summer potentially is looking brighter.

Who knows what next year will bring?

Authors Note:

And so we reach the end of the line to this chapter of Bailey and Harry's journey together. And now onto the Prisoner of Azkaban where even more fun awaits.

As usual if any has any suggestions on what they wish to see in the next installment I'm all ears. I can't guarantee I'll use all of them, but I'll listen.

For those of you on fanfiction I'm sure you've been facing the many unwanted ads when you're reading a story. Well, yesterday, I finally had enough, and I got an adblocker app. It worked! No more ads on any level! The one I got is Adblock Pro: Safari Ad Blocker. It really works. Just follow the instruction video that it attached to it.

Heads up everyone there's someone on fanfiction you need to seriously watch out for. Early a couple of months ago after I woke up I was checking my email and I saw I had a new guest review on my A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 sequel. I took a look at it and got a very big shock. Some random person I've never spoken to before on here or anywhere else in my life was basically threatening me. Intimidating and practically ordering me to write a threatening letter to someone on their behalf, telling to stay off of for life or else they and everyone else close to them would be killed, disgustingly telling them to kill themselves. And at the bottom of the message this crazy person wasn't done. Warning me that if I don't send the letter then they would kill me and for confirmation to email them to make absolutely sure I complied with their demands. Of course I did nothing of the sort. Instead of doing what they wanted I reported them to the website, sent copies of this deplorable guest review message to police officer cousins of mine so they could have it on file, and I went to a nearby police station and reported it.

When I spoke to the police officers and they checked everything on the message they saw, that while the address and names of business were accurate the people and their names were not. They agree it was more than likely a scam because of the email address on the bottom in order to perhaps get access to personal information or potentially hack my computer. Despite that I'm still very happy they took it seriously as I showed and told them everything. All the same I'm still very happy that I brought this to the attention of law enforcement. Even though the entire thing might be fake I'm still very happy to have brought this to the attention of those who can do something about it if it was legit in some way. This may have been a scam, but it's obvious these people are beyond irresponsible if they try to goad people into sending death threats to random strangers just to get access to info.

Be that as it may if this does unfortunately happen to you do not send any messages to the email addresses they put down and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you bring the message to the authorities immediately whether it is legit or not.

Because it's a guest review it might not be visible for a couple of days as it loads if it is sent to you. But when it does you should definitely pressing the report abuse button and send it to the email that leads to the support staff that is available.

Just a heads up to those of you who aren't aware of this yet, Email alerts for this website are now only active if Email opts is enabled in account settings.

I hope you all like this one! I certainly did while writing it for your vast enjoyment! ;D

For those of you just starting out with my stuff there are other works on my profile that may catch your interest. I highly recommend you take a look as soon as the opportunity presents itself to you. Who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised by what you discover.

Stay safe everyone. Especially with all of these crazy natural disasters occurring a lot lately due to global warming and climate change everywhere for sure. I swear it's like they're getting worse and worse all the time and it's like officials are simply just ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist entirely just to go on with their daily lives. Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.

So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.

I know I am. ;) See you guys next time.
